I went here last night for my bday dinner. Absolutely AMAZING. The ambiance was exquisite and romantic. The waiter, Laszlo, was TOP NOTCH. He was knowledgeable, made great recommendations, and was very attentative & observant. I couldnt have asked for a better waiter. We order the crab cake appetizer and the special; tomahawk steak with shrimp, parmesan crusted mashed potatoes and glazed Brussel sprouts. Let me tell you....Im wishing I had more left over. The steak (medium well) was cooked to perfection the butter sauces was soooo good & the sides were perfect. We shared the meal and couldnt finish it. The bill was roughly $400 for 2ppl buy well worth it! The only downfall is that the Rooftop are is not as nice as the main dining area so Im glad we stayed down stairs...oh I must add ladies, the cucumber martini is a sexy, refreshing drink. The bathroom and restaurant was clean and took COVID precautions seriously. I love this place and will definitely be back! Happy bday 2 me!
The porterhouse was amazing! (Added the peppercorn crust) and the strawberry shortcake Martini was good minus the crumb rim. I gave 4 stars because although the hostesses were great in changing our tables, the waiter wasn’t very friendly ☹️ other than that, great experience!
Went to the rooftop bar for Brunch on Saturday and Sunday this weekend (it was so good we went twice!) The service provided by Marie and the other folks behind the bar was nothing short of exceptional! Will definitely be making this a regular brunch spot. Had an awesome Wagyu beef burger, a Bloody Mary and several mimosas.
We think the restaurant was overrated Service was pretty bad we felt we were at an auction house our server was overworked and frustrated. He spoke 200mph so he can get to the next table instead of focusing on providing us a great experience. We felt rushed to eat and go. Food was alright it didnt blow our socks off. The burgers were overcooked. The tomahawk steak was cooked well in some areas and some areas were over cooked the steak wasnt really hot so we didnt enjoy the extra truffle butter since it didnt melt on the steak. Mashed potatoes were gritty not really creamy or fluffy. Really not my expectation for such a high dollar place. Trust me we spend the money where its deserved. Definitely not worth the hype! Im a food critic for sure and I wanted to give this place a shot. I give credit where it is deserved and its not really here.
I was with my father. We wanted a good restaurant with ambiance but not to noisy…It was a wonderful experience. The service of PAVEL was exceptionnal and he offered personnal and superior experience to us. His advices for the wine were true and his choice was amazing and we really appreciated them. First time at STK steakhouse last night 6/12. I was under the impression this was a upscale restaurant, elegant, great food, etc but boy was I wrong. My husband made dinner reservations 2 weeks in advance. We were so excited for a quiet lovely dinner but unfortunately left unsatisfied.First off, there were a table of guests who were extremely loud and rambunctious. At a point of time it sounded as if they were arguing. I expected a manager to ask them to lower their voices but that never happened. The yelling was very distracting and took away from our overall dining experience and lasted for our entire meal.We ordered the calamari and crab cake. The calamari was overdone and I dare say burnt and were very very hard. The crab cake was okay but definitely not worth $37 for ONE. The steak was the biggest letdown. The cook of the steak was fine but it was unseasoned. Totally bland. We opted for the umami butter (Additional $12) which unfortunately did not help the flavor whatsoever. One would expect perfection for a $115 steak. The issue wasn’t the price because we fully planned on paying that much viewing the menu beforehand. The issue was the quality of the food and service compared to the total. We spent near $300 for two people and left hungry! For a $300 dinner one would expect to at least enjoy the food! Total rip-off.Also, clearly there isn’t a dress code because to my surprise there were guests with sweatshirts and crocs. Definitely not the upscale restaurant I was expecting. One star. Would not recommend STK Steakhouse NYC Downtown unless you are in the mood for OVERPRICED mediocre tasteless food.
Delicious appts and steak. Highly recommend corn pudding and mac and cheese sides. Drinks all were good my fave was the strawberry cobbler, little sweet but still delicious. Mario was our server and he was phenomenal. Made some great suggestions and recommendations. Definitely try the bread with blue cheese spread and onion dip...simply amazing!
William was great! He really knows his stuff and he is an entire experiEnce himself which just adds to the amazing warm ambience and delicious food. Everything was absolutely uniquely exquisite in taste. Everything came out quick and efficient. The seating is definitely tight but we would absolutely come back especially to get the outside experience on the terrace.Thank you STK rooftop!
The place was amazing! The vibe, the music and atmosphere, the backdrop and definitely the drinks!!! When it came for the food, I’m still raving about it. I got the Delmonico ribeye and my friends got the Tomahawk and the salmon. Everything was cooked to perfection! The sides were amazing! Our waiter was very attentive without being overwhelming. Kept an eye on us all night and we didn’t need to flag him down to get anything! Definitely a place highly recommended. Definitely will be back!
What a fantastic restaurant! We came to NYC to celebrate our daughters 16th and Matthew, our server, was fantastic! We were a largish party and Matthew did an excellent job making sure we always had drinks, all of orders were spot on. As far as steak and seafood goes, PERFECTION.
The rooftop views were spectacular. The area was heated which was perfect for a fall evening dinner. Everything was great! I’d definitely recommend the linguini pasta, filet, Mac n cheese, cream spinach, corn pudding, and mashed potatoes! The calamari was the best I’ve ever had! Plus, Max, our server, was on top of everything and was knowledgeable about the menu!
Such a phenomenal ambiance at this STK Rooftop. Lunick provided 1st class service and was extremely accommodating. Food was out quickly and delicious. I strongly recommend the Oyster Rockafellers, 6oz filet with TRUFFLE BUTTER, and their mushrooms!Thank you guys… we shall be back this summer!
We recently went to STK to celebrate my birthday and we had the best dining experience ever. Every single thing we ordered was amazing. The drinks were creative and strong. The service and the food was great too. The restaurant is dimly lit and romantic. Jeff made our experience even better. I highly recommend this place and we’ll definitely be back!
One night in New York and Had the BEST TIME! Their drinks are delicious! I highly recommend their Spicy Watermelon Margarita so good every time. The food is AMAZING definitely worth ever penny. Needless to say all of our waiters were so nice! Energetic and proud to bring us our food. MARKO was so kind, got everything that was ordered right and explained everything with pride. If you want to feel like a celebrity, enjoy your company with a great atmosphere and add to that great tasting food and drinks please go!
We went to STK rooftop to celebrate my husbands birthday (party of 5) on Friday night. This was the first time any of us have ever been there and we were not disappointed. Yes, the prices are a bit expensive but that’s to be expected at a steakhouse. There was a DJ and I loved that he played a mix of house, reggae, hip hop and pop music. The decor is simply breathtaking and the food was superior. I ordered the NY strip steak, Mac n cheese and the mushrooms and everything was cooked to my liking. The portions are also huge, even to share with someone. There was no one at my table who complained about their food, it was just so good!! Our waitress, Daisy was phenomenal. I told her it was my husband’s birthday and she stated “ok I’ll take care of it” and that she did!! I was very pleased with her fast service and she attended to our needs in a timely manner even though it was a busy Friday night. Overall, it was a beautiful experience and I would definitely come back again.
Had family & friends in town from Arkansas and wanted to take them to one of my most favorite rooftops that never seems to disappoint. Our server William was simply AMAZING. He knew so much about the menu, the food and was so knowledgeable on the wines, he is a TOTAL asset to the company. Been there several times and will continue to entertain there. One suggestion, lower the volume of the music, I found myself having to shout to be heard and today, my voice is gone… GREAT job William and we’ll be back this summer for sure.
Upon arrival we were seated very quickly and were offered drinks that came very quickly. There was so much to choose from on the menu, the mini burgers to start were lovely, then we went through the dry aged porterhouse to share with my friends. Additionally, we ordered the mashed potatoes, mac and cheese and the spinach cream (I didnt like it). A brilliant and unforgettable experience while we were in NYC
First time at a rooftop steakhouse in NYC. What a wonderful way to start a birthday weekend! Our server Brian went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing time. Music playing through the speakers, the city view, and the delicious food made for a memorable experience! Next time we come to NYC we are coming back and asking for BRIAN
Two stars ONLY because our service was great, no complaints there. Our waitress was very attentive and understanding.First, if you walk in and are told to head to the third floor Lodge, RUN, do not walk, out of there. The ambiance on Floor 3 can only be described as banished to the food hall - tables are cheap, server station is haphazardly thrown in, none of the class of the ground floor.Food would have been ok had we been paying $25 for it at Applebees. Our $75 Surf and Turf came out somehow simultaneously overcooked and stone cold. The re-grilled steak and lobster tail we were offered was only mildly better.I rarely complain about restaurant experiences especially these days, but there are many other options in the area for comparable or even cheaper prices that are much, much better experiences.
Highly recommend. Incredible experience and ambiance, weird to request a waiter, but go with William if you can - great guy, extremely knowledgable, and made the experience top notchFood is pricey, but worth it. Delicious, cooked to perfection and they take care of you. Bon appétit
Had an excellent night at STK! Our server Artie was absolutely stupendous. He was attentive, payed close attention to detail, and made sure to take care of us the entire night. The ambiance is exactly what my girlfriend and I were looking for on the night of our engagement. Thank you Artie for making our special day so perfect! Will definitely be back again for him and the amazing food 🤍
STK is more of a club than steakhouse. The place is very hip with live DJ. The music was a good mix by lady DJ but was very hard for us to talk to each other. We all felt like it was more of a club than a Steakhouse.The food was mediocre. We expected more from our steaks. Maybe cow had a bad day!
Marie and Alex were amazing. I sat at the bar on the top floor and they both took care of me and my party. I came here for a short vacation and they literally made the entire trip. They showed me the highest amount of hospitality I could ask for. They were attentive, entertaining, and helpful with things to do in the city. I enjoyed a delicious meal with amazing drinks. Fantastic night!
We loved it. Love it. It was my second time there and I was still impressed. Thanks to my server TJ who was phenomenal and did a great job. My friends and I also met the general manager ( Kevin ) who took care of us. The food; the appetizers, entree etc on was just amazing. Thank you so much.Wish I took better pictures but I was dying to dig in
The service from our waiter William was outstanding. He was attentive and very pleasant. Lots of energy which is good! The ambiance was very nice and intimate. My only issue was that I think the prices of the steaks at least were raised. I wasn’t very happy about that only because i didn’t think the steaks were worth the prices. But overall it was a nice restaurant.
WE LOVED THIS PLACE! Me and my wife visited for the holidays and wanted to celebrate our anniversary somewhere nice and elegant. The service was top tier ! Our Waitress was Karine! She was amazing I definitely recommend asking to be seated with her if possible ! Me and my wife loved her hospitality and kindness. She’s very wise on the menu as well as the drinks! She continued to check on us and make sure we where 100% comfortable with everything. The food was amazing . We got the date night deal which comes with very great options which are all very good ! We definitely plan to fit this place in to all of our next visits . Happy holidays to you all .
We had an excellent meal and night at STK! The staff were great and the food excellent. Our table was on the 3rd floor - the room was decorated in a way that it felt like you were in someone’s home. Great holiday vibes, swanky but cozy. We tried the wagyu steak (special item) with chimichurri and Lobster Linguini. Both were amazing. We recommend the sweet corn pudding as a side, but were not too impressed with the Parmesan truffle fries (thicker steak fries). All in all we will be back soon! The steak we chose happened to be from an Australian farm that serves halal meat, which was a plus for us.
My friends and I had such a wonderful experience here. Jack Mountford was our waiter and he was above and beyond at his job. You will never find anyone better than Jack. He was absolutely perfect. His approach towards his customers is irreplaceable and unforgettable! He listens very carefully to your desires and makes sure that you get the most out of your dining experience! Throughout the process, he keeps a lively conversation and his positive energy is like no other. Apart from being a wonderful person, he is a true professional when it comes to entertaining his guests. He is such an enthusiastic person and he has helped us so much by recommending the best food on the menu as well planning our next trips. It was such a pleasure having Jack as our waiter and we look forward to meeting him again soon. Dear corporate office, if you are reading this, please give Jack a raise, he is a true hustler and deserves this in every way!
Place is very nice inside. We had private room upstairs for a company party and it had a fireplace. It was very cozy. The steaks were great and cooked perfectly. Side dishes mac & cheese, brussel sprouts, truffle fries were all really good. All drinks were great too. Will definitely be going back there.
Come for the ambience stay for Nick our patient server. My group had several questions regarding the NYC Restaurant Week menu and Nick explained everything as patiently as he could despite my group not listening properly. Super friendly and the food was amazing and served very quickly. Our reservation was for 630 so we had a great table and watched the placed fill in. Restaurant Week or not, worth coming back here!
Great atmosphere and vibe, great music, amazing food, and our server Max was very nice and attentive to us and our needs. He was very informative about the menu and helped us with our orders. We got the filet, the lobster tail, the mashed potatoes, and the Brussels sprouts.
Had a delicious dinner! First time here and it was great. Korine was an angel of a waitress! We were celebrating a special occasion and she made sure to send out complimentary champagne and dessert. She also checked in multiple times to make sure the dinner was going well and when she saw I didn’t like my drink she comped that too! She was super attentive. Will be back!
We went to the rooftop lounge at approximately 5pm on 4/8. When we got to the lounge there were 5 barstools and four men. One customer was occupying two barstools, one for himself and one for his jacket. Even well aware that we were standing he or the bartender did not offer a seat. We then asked the bartender for a happy hour menu which she replied “oh I don’t know”. I said oh I can look on my phone. After an additional 10 minutes she than ask s her hostess for a menu, All in the meantime still standing. After a few more minutes she came back to take our drink order unbeknownst to her what was going n happy hour we ordered. Another two patroons in the meantime came up with no where to stand, an a fellow with two barstools sitting there ordered there drinks then went to a table. The bartender then came back and took our appetizer order. She put In the wrong order then when the food came out she tried to imply we ordered wrong. We kept the wrong food which in all was subpar and paid the bill. The whole experience was terrible. We were excited to try STK since we have been to all the other Manhattan steak houses and were extremely disappointed. Will not refer people to this location or chain.
EDWARD WAS AN INCREDIBLE SERVER. He was so knowledgeable about the menu and gave us his personal favorites, which helped us have an incredible meal. He also got us two free sides because STK had run out of the entree one of my friends had ordered. He was incredible and made our experience so enjoyable. Will definitely be back soon!!
This is my first time visiting STK Steakhouse Rooftop NYC and I can sincerely say its one of the best restaurants I ever visited. From the minute we walked in the rooftop section our waitress Elisha made us feel super comfortable she was very attentive, caring, made sure my date and I were taking care of the whole time.Will definitely come back not just for the amazing food but for Elisha amazing service !
Amazing experience, the rooftop was filled with great vibes I sat by the bar with my friend and the bartender was super cool and funny, the food was espectacular the drink and desert very good as well. I work in the neighborhood and was my first time here, will definitely go again and recommend it to my clients.
We came here with a group of girls to celebrate my friends 24th birthday. We got to sit on the beautiful outdoor rooftop, and enjoyed the entire experience!! The highlight was our wonderful server Bryan who was so attentive and so much fun! The food was good, but the atmosphere, ambiance, and service made this an amazing experience.
The restaurant on first floor is way more beautiful than the actual rooftop. It seems completely different spaces from different owners. At first i had made reservations for rooftop but when i saw it I got so disappointing. That was not a decent rooftop at all!!So thank God they let me stay at first floor . It took forever to someone figure out we were there waiting to be served. But the waiter was nice tho , but didn’t bring us bread like to the others. The food is ok. It was my anniversary celebration and they brought a birthday cake at the end, i can appreciate the effort tho. 3 stars because it wasn’t that bad but doesn’t make me feel coming back.
Second time here and it was even better than my first! had the cowgirl med rare. spicy watermelon margarita. Brussel sprouts. blue butter. sun was just starting to tuck in for the night on the roof top. just delicious attentive service and great views of the high line. so glad we decided to come here for our 10 year wedding anniversary.
We came here to celebrate our anniversary and of course everything was AMAZING!!! Korine gave us the BEST service, her dinner suggestions were ON POINT! And honestly, she made our anniversary super special, thank you you are so appreciated. We will definitely be coming back just for her
Marco was beyond incredible: service couldn’t have been more prompt or attentive, incredibly knowledgeable on menu & off menu items, helped curate a variety of different menu items to try. Burrata app is refreshing & light, steaks cooked perfectly to temp. Cyrus, the DJ, is always amazing. Outstanding staff, music, ambiance & of course food. Would highly recommend a visit if you’d like to be treated like family while still maintaining the feel of fine dining.
Had a fantastic meal here tonight. Make sure to get reservations as it can get pretty full! Highly recommend the filet, Yukon mashed potatoes, and especially the iceberg wedge. Props to our attendant tonight, Artie, very nice dude - gave some great recommendations and fantastic service.
Jose was thee best! Professional, courteous, and thoughtful. He made our first visit to that location memorable and worth returning . Exceptional customer service is not easy to come by. The French toast and Steak and eggs were flavorful and well seasoned and loved the $5 mimosas!! Cheers to a weekend ending well!!
I LOVES this place . The ambiance , the bar the food the service everything was great . We had Marco as our server and we had a table on the roof top . He gave us great recommendations and the food was delicious. Music was great . It’s great for birthdays having dinner with family and friends .
I usually dont like or care to post reviews but I will because of our server Max....He was the best. So friendly and attentive.We had a 5:30pm reservation for party of 8. ( sons 25th birthday dinner)The hostess seated us at a small table. We commented on the party vs table size. She stared it was fine and walked away..Restaurant was empty (still early)Max came noticed we were uncomfortable and immediately offered us a bigger table.. during the evening he checked in on us frequently.Very knowledgeable about the menu.Just an all around nice person.
Came here for our anniversary and we are super happy. Ambiance is almost as amazing as the food, but our waiter Max really made our night. He was super attentive and recommended some amazing drinks and dishes that won’t disappoint. He even got us some complimentary Prosecco! If you come here (which you totally should) ask for Max!
What an exceptional find with its phenomenal service, excellent steak and wine; but the true diamond of the evening was Sue-Ann, whose discerning eye and in-depth knowledge of wine pairing added to my culinary excursion, making it, a memorable evening.. As a former New Yorker, I remembered the meat packing district as a place you’d stay away. But upon my return, I noticed a true renaissance of the area. Firstly, when I try a new venue, food is secondary, service primary. From the first step into stk, I was warmly welcomed, seated and served, treated like a rock star, and the evening took off from there. Again, I loved Sue-Ann who was attentive, without being overly doting, allowing my dinning experience to unfold as a 3 movement symphony. I am in town the next 2 months and will frequent this hidden gem but it’s contingent upon my being seated in Sue-Ann’s section . Love this place!!!!!
A close friend and I went to STK to celebrate my birthday. The food was delicious and our server, Korine was very polite. She was knowledgeable of the menu options and made my birthday celebration very special. If you’re ever in the area I highly suggest having dinner here.
If I can give this no stars. I’d give it. Reserved for 9pm for 6 people for my wife’s birthday. Obviously I understand places like this will be busy, especially on a Saturday night. But to wait an hour and a half after our reservation was absurd. Our waiter was great. Brought us our drinks and starters pretty quick. Here’s where things get even worse. We waited over an hour and half for our food and throughout that time, our waiter maybe came to our table two times to let us know our food will be ready I. “5-6 minutes”. At this point we were all ready to just pay for what we got and leave. And all of this happened already at 1am when we STILL didn’t get our food. I understand sometimes you can be busy, things get hectic. But to watch other people get their food before us and came after us was just hard to swallow. Completely felt so embarrassed inviting my friends and trying to celebrate my wife’s birthday at this place. We got there hungry and we left hungry with just Caesar salad and burrata as our only meal. Never willI come back to this place again.
Absolutely Spectacular!!!!!First let me introduce you to our hostess for the night MARCO!!!The moment we sat down he was down right AMAZING. From his knowledge of wine to his accurate taste buds in meals is nothing short of the best experience I have ever had in a restaurant. Marco answered all of our questions, from wine to sauces for our tomahawk steak (which was the star of our dining) to the dessert wine to end our time at STK!Overall our experience here was one where I think will become a norm in our life. The food was everything and more. You might not believe me when I say everything was PERFECT!!!!It was PERFECT!!!!Thank you Marco! Whoever goes to STK downtown, ask for MARCO!!!Thank me later 😉
Korine was truly amazing as our server. The food came out so quickly and it was absolutely delicious. It’s our Anniversary so the restaurant sent over complimentary champagne, and dessert when we were done enjoying our meal. The decor is so pretty. Trendy yet romantic. Definitely coming back and asking to sit in Korine’s section again!!
Great place. Food is good. Very upscale restaurant. My only disappointment is that they ask you if your celebrating a birthday but they dont offer anything for the persons birthday. So if thats the case, then why ask about any occasion. As a restaurant, you really cant afford to give a slice of cake or ice cream to someone that just spent $300 on dinner in your establishment for their birthday is a little deceiving. If a couple, a person or group choose to celebrate their birthday at your restaurant out of the millions of restaurants they could have chosen from, that is special and just a little slice of cake isnt good enough for you to say thank you? Unbelievable. I have been to other fine dining and they have gave us a slice. Really could have took my money elsewhere. I know what restaurant to cross off the list next time.
Always love visiting a STK location. STK Rooftop did not disappoint. The food and ambiance is always amazing. William, our server, was awesome. He had great recommendations for food and meal pairings. Would absolutely come back to this location with William as our server!
Nick was so great!!! Very friendly and attended to us in a timely manner. Checked in every now and then. He recommended the strawberry mojito and I’ll recommend everyone to try it out. This was my 1st time at STK and he made it very memorable. Will definitely stop by in the summer when I visit NYC again.Thanks Nick!!
Location is the best thing happened to this steak house. price for steak you can justify otherwise the rest of the price on the menu is atrociously high. FeW went knowingly, but when I ate the food , I felt ,I can get this kind of food anywhere . There is nothing different, so why are they charging so much money. Sticker shock was for the Cauliflower. $46. and for Sea bass $54. I was not in a mood for eating fish since I had one previous night, I decided to go with cauliflower , extremely, oily, overly salted and a jar of capers poured on top. $46 went into trash. In short I would not recommend this restaurant to anyone. I gave two stars because our server was okay with her service, and the sides were good. One more thing, after reading this review if you decide to go, you will have to ask for the bread few times.it doesnt come automatically .
The place is big and nicely decorated, and the food is really good, but really pricey as well.We did not have any cocktails, but went straight into some wine. Were Europeans so went for a California wine to try something new (Sequoia Grove Cabernet Sauvignon 2018)Our waitress was really nice, and the service was 5 stars (warm, kind, polite).Now, the 4 stars instead of 5 are because the music was far too loud (we could barely hear each other, and it was only two of us sitting in front of each other) and because it is ridiculously expensive (even in some of the best meat restaurants in European capitals like Paris, Munich or London you never pay more than $400 for a dinner for two with just one bottle of average/good wine)
Marko was an amazing waiter and made my date night truly memorable.He was attentive and anticipated our needs. Given the fact that this was the first time we had been here it was perfect. Shout out to Toni the Amazing bartender. We’ll be back.P.S. The only con was that the elevator was broken but it was worth every single step🙂
I card to STK downtown for a girls night with a couple of friends , Korine was our server and she was so sweet and professional. She walked us through the menu and was extremely personable! Very kind and excellent customer service . What I’d expect from a restaurant like this !
I was recommended STK Rooftop, but was left with a sour taste. We reserved a table outside, and headed up in the lift. The girl on the desk took us to our table, but also brought with her some people who were having a tour. The personal touch was gone immediately and she plonked us at the table with menus and said nothing. We the. Asked to move as we were in a dark corner and wanted to sit under the lights. We sat there for over 15 minutes and nobody came near us. The waiter and waitress walked by 4 or 5 times each but never actually engaged with us. We left, and told the front desk why, and they rolled their eyes so hard that they probably saw what was on the floor behind them. Very disappointing from a restaurant of its stature. We want to Pastis across the street instead and it’s one of the best meals we’ve ever had. STK is a thumbs down.
Went for a quick bite to eat and drinks. Service was great per usual. The server was very kind and even treated me to a birthday treat as pictured below. Their spicy watermelon martini was good - not too spicy, just enough for a small kick and very refreshing. My husband and I dine there at least 4 times a month - whether it’s the rooftop or the interior (our fave due to the decor) so clearly they’re doing something right!
First of all, the food was great, especially the meat and the desserts. Unfortunately, the service is not at all what you would expect from such a place, which charges prices as they do. While the server taking our orders etc. was very good, the supporting staff was not. Knives were just put anywhere on the table, same as the plates for dessert. I would expect, that they at least care to put the plate in front of whoever ordered the dish, not just in the middle of the table. They also started clearing plates off of the table while the other one was still eating, including sauces we were still using. Again, food was good, but the service for such a place was terrible and unprofessional.
You know service is horrible if you cant even get a drink while sitting at a nearly empty bar (3 customers). I waited for 20 mins for a glass of wine only to be told they didnt have the glass I ordered. So I ordered something else... The bartender apologized and said the next glass was on him. Fine and appreciated. But then he forgot about the new glass. I had ordered food with the replacement glass but when he forgot about my wine again I was so annoyed that I cancelled my food and drink order and went to Pastis. He was too busy being making drinks for the tables and completely ignoring the bar. Spending this amount on food and drinks is fine when living in NYC but service counts and this place has absolutely none. Dont waste your time.
Celebrated my birthday here with my best friend and our server Marko made it a phenomenal experience. He truly went out of his way to make it a special experience from a surprise birthday cake to tequila shots at the end. Service from him was beyond. I’ll definitely be back for him!
My girlfriend and I had an incredible night at STK. Our waiter, Artie, provided us with exceptional service. He ensured that our meals were prepared perfectly and checked in on us during each course. It was my first time at STK and he made sure my first experience was stellar. I can’t wait to come back again soon!
My family and I had such a great time here. The food was amazinggggg and Korine was such an awesome server - super friendly and present without being pushy - Made GREAT RECOMMENDATIONS.The restaurant atmosphere was a bit loud but there’s not much they can do about that.
Tonight started off weird bc we had to wait 2 hrs after our reservation was but Korine really turned the whole night around. Her Hospitality and kindness blew me away and actually made the whole night so much better I was really grateful I was able to have such an amazing waitress because without her my experience really would’ve been not as good. I hope next time i decide to come she is here still!
STK was a hit again. It’s been a minute since my wife and I had been but had a invited group of six for dinner and had an absolute blast. All first timers otherwise. Food, always top notch, but it was the service that really sent it over the top. Cherri made sure we had everything we needed all night. It was a perfect time with friends.
Came here for a late night bite to eat. me and my husband was waited by Daisy. The best experience EVER!!! She had an answer to every food question that we asked and even gave us the best suggestions. everyone please go and ask for Daisy promise you’ll get the best experience ever !!!
My boyfriend and I had such an incredible time the other night. The table bread they serve is some of the best Ive ever had. And the steak literally melts in your mouth. Especially grateful to the waiter Aleksay who took a bunch of great photos for us. I would definitely recommend to any of my friends.
I would like to acknowledge Toni, she was my bartender for my lovely Friday evening at the bar. She was very respectful and responsive to my service. I order shots and a strawberry cobbler, she was very fast and sufficient. I loved the service. I’ll be back to chat it up with Toni in the future.
The calamari was good but I was upset that they choped it up. So I was getting cumbs and small pieces. The bread took forever to come out. One of my drinks they couldnt make. The place was so cold until later when they stop seating people they turned the air off. The lobster pasta was really good. That was the best thing. I would of given more stars but the service was not good. We had to hunt down our waiter. Yet when we got the bill he came over to us 3 times before we collected the money from everyone. He should of been checking on us like that the whole time.
Well the decor was amazingggg. Honestly I was with a large party of 15. The place just wasnt that great. The waiter was pleasant but seemed new and was slow at tending to things. The calamari was to salty for me which is rare. The Surf and Turf was decent but nothing great. Nice place though 🤷🏾
Overall a letdown.The Delmonico ribeye was supposed to be prime and dry aged for 40 days but didnt taste like either. The steak sauce tasted like Sweet Baby Rays. My old fashioned was excessively sweet. My server was nowhere to be seen and my water glass was empty for the majority of my meal. When someone who was not my server asked if I wanted dessert I asked if they had port. They said No so I said Ok nothing then. They suddenly found an $8 bottle of port and poured me a glass. It was terrible.Overall the only bright spot was one of the better takes on a wedge salad Ive had.In general if you are willing to pay these prices go somewhere like American Cut. If you want this quality stick to Outback.
We came here for my girlfriends birthday and we had the pleasure of getting Cherri for our server. She was simply the best. She knew it was a special occasion from the second we sat down. Whatever we needed she was right there with it already in hand. My drink was never fully empty. 5/5 we can’t wait to come back.
Food and service were just AMAZING. Unbelievably good. Our server MARKO was exceptional: fast, nice and efficient. First time in NYC and I’m definitely coming back (probably for my 30th birthday). We ordered a little bit of everything and 😍😍😍😍 Thank you Marko! You’re the best!
We showed up to our dinner, waited 25 minutes for water… server was slow and confused. We left after our drinks. Definitely disappointed. Almost went to the bar to order a drink because wow. This girl seemed like she was on something. Spent $80 on drinks. Would have spent a lot more. I was excited about the food.
So disappointed with this place, went there today for my birthday and they let me down bad. First, got our drinks wrong, second, most important ordered a porterhouse steak that was 110$ medium cooked and got it rare. Terrible because my daughters don’t like it that way and if you’re paying that much you expect to get it right. Overall our server Marc or Marco, just dropped the ball, for a 370$ bill I was dissatisfied. The only thing I absolutely loved was the seafood platter we got, that was AMAZING!!
Korine was excellent! Being a server is a skill set. You have to be observant enough to know when needed without having to be called on, but not so much that the guests are not able to enjoy themselves because they are being interrupted. A server is the face of the establishment, the kitchen, and the energy. Korine was successful at it all. She made me feel that every dollar I spent was worth it.
We have Korine as our server. She was amazing. Checked on us regularly. Food was good. Had the NY strip, ceviche as app and mushrooms as side. Cooked perfectly. Only thing I didnt love was its a tad too loud indoors to hear the person directly next to me. Not sure Id dine here again because of that. If they lower it just enough to not need to scream like Im in a nightclub, it would he a better dining experience. I honestly couldnt hear my friend who was seated in a booth directly next to me.
I came here for my 25th birthday and had the best time thanks to my server Korinne! She recommended the best drinks, was so knowledgeable about the menu, and helped me order the perfect meal, a butcher board, to have the best celebration. I will definitely come back and request her!
If I could give 0 stars, I would. From the terrible service, to the subpar food, starting from the moment I walked into the door. It’s safe to say STK single-handedly ruined what was supposed to be my birthday celebration. First: the hostess forgot about me and my party and did not seat us for well over an hour, despite having a reservation. Then to compensate for the sheer neglect, we were seated in a private room, away from everyone else. Sounds nice, but it wasn’t. It was the equivalent of a boardroom, bland, boring with no ambiance. We had worlds worst waitress who routinely got our food and drink orders wrong and got aggressive when this was pointed out. Our creamed spinach came without cream, the fries were soggy and being stuck in that private room was akin to being in a jail cell. Thank you, STK for ruining my birthday. I will NOT be returning.
Totally caught off guard by how busy it was, but pleasantly surprised by the efficient and friendly service! We were served by Marko! Gave stunning recommendations and was kind throughout. Definitely recommend if you’re looking for a cute and flashy night out for dinner or drinks or both!
So I have to say I had one of the sweetest servers for dinner, Korine (I hope I spelled her name correctly) she was amazing and very attentive! I would definitely ask for her when I come back. The food was amazing as usual and came out fast (it’s a Tuesday night, not super busy).

Chip was the best waiter. Joy is the Mnaager there and was just Joy, no pun intended thank you. The food was delicious and the steaks were even more delicious. We didnt get the pleasure of going ro the rooftop but we were able to get a peek and trust me it will not disappoint. The whole establishment is great. Thank you again for the experience. Went with my girlfriend during restaurant week and it was amazing! Food was amazing and service was impeccable - I am going to personally request Eduardo by name next time I come! My friend and I got oysters and burrata, rib eye steaks, and cheesteak and apple crumb dessert (and a bottle of Merlot). Would definitely recommend for great vibes and good food!
Not my kind of scene. Loud DJ, bartenders did not make the drink I ordered properly nor place in proper barware for drinking. Had a reservation, but still had to wait an extra 20 - 30 minutes for the table.Once we got to a table Food was good, service was good. Unfortunately, a food allergy was not observed effectively and one of our friends could not finish their meal.Ambience is club feel, low light, loud music, and slow bar. A bit overpriced for my taste.
Enjoyed a Wednesday evening at the downtown location. The ambiance, experience, and service by Korine was beyond my expectations. She went above and beyond making my experience memorable making entree recommendations and her attention to detail was noticeable.I look forward to my next visit.
We had reservations for 7pm the day before Valentines day, to beat the rush. Unfortunately they were still busy and we were escorted to the basement/lower level of the restaurant. What made it even more uncomfortable and unappealing was the 2x2 foot round table they sat us. We could have barely fit our food and drinks on this table. It appeared that all the tables in this room were that size. We were told that this is where they sit people when the restaurant is busy upstairs. I feel that customers should not be able to book a reservation if there wasnt enough room in the restaurant. This will perhaps be my last time here, due to the fear of an unpleasant, uncomfortable experience for an expensive meal. Luckily I already fooled my wife into marrying me years ago. This would have ruined my chances if we were dating.

2022-02-16Worst experience dining. There’s many things disappointed here.1. It’s not a rooftop restaurant as advertised. We felt down since we see the table we got.2. The service is not really good as upscale restaurant and the price. So pricey compared to the quality of food, drinks and the service.3. We have ordered two recommended cocktails, they are the worst cocktails I had tried in my life. It’s tasteless like a water, there’s nothing in glass, just a ice and some liquid. It’s so poor drink in a tiny glass with full of ice for $21 cocktails. I saw most of tables returned their drinks (cocktails) so I don’t think we are the only one who doesn’t like the drinks.4. We had a Surf & Turf, The steak is good but the lobster was so tough and dried like they were cooked and left over since many days. So so bad!! Unacceptable at all.5. We were charged for just a crushed black pepper on top of our tiny steaks for $10.6. The main course was served in room temperature. We expected something Wow for a Steak house. But it’s not, they just dumped a piece of steak and lobster with two cups of sauce. There’s no any food presentation or decoration for almost $100 one main dish, $79 for Surf and Turf + $18 asparagus + $5 black pepper + taxes. We paid about $300 for two people for this worst dining experience here. The money is no problem as long as you serve us with the same quality of food, drinks and the service.7. First and last time here. You had ruined my night.

My friends had the máshed potatoes. All the food was good. Drinks not so much. I had a margarita it was not great. My friends had a fruity Martini which was not good. Overall we had a great dinner.

2022-05-26Great sunset views but short and small rooftop dining area. what will also be small is the cash in your wallet after you pay this bill. Wow! Feel like I just paid rent… The views are unobstructed so that’s a good thing. And the cocktails are well made, $21 each. All were good except the watermelon one. They recommend it but it’s actually the worst…maybe they wanted to get rid of it idk. Good times all in all though. I recommend.

2022-04-18Firstly I would like to shoutout Korine B, who made our experience here one to remember. We came in to celebrate my birthday but also had just got engaged. Service from start to finish was beyond what we expected given so many bad reviews. Korine was a sweetheart and brought us champagne to toast to the occasion. We ordered the calamari and truffle fries for appetizers. The calamari was perfectly crisp and the truffle fries are delicious and thick cut, soft on the inside. Lets say I made sure to get every crumb off the dish. The bacon mac and cheese was creamy, rich and honestly I wish I didnt have to share with my partner. We both had the lobster linguine which could have been better. The lobster was overcooked and the sauce could have been just slightly thicker. Our drinks were nice and strong. For dessert we had the chocolate cake and oh boy was it rich and decadent. Throughout the entire night, she kept checking on us, as well as someone who I believe might have been the manager. He even came over to wish me a happy birthday. Overall I would love to come back and try the other dishes on the menu as well as the rooftop.

2022-06-11Last night we had the most amazing meal on the roof-deck at STK Steakhouse Downtown NYC!!! Our Waiters name was Peter and he was spot on. We didn’t know what to order so he just brought us course after course of great appetizers steak, fish and sides like cream spinach and mash potatoes... the cookie and ice-cream was also next level. The rooftop is a very fun good energy scene. Watching the sun go down and seeing the Whitney Museum light show are all big additions to the already next level ambiance..... big shoutout to the manager, Joy who made this evening happen!!! Its not cheap but if you want and amazing experience with great food and next level service - give this place a try!!!!

2022-02-05Went here for dinner with my family for Restaurant Week and it was a fantastic experience.The food was delicious and the portions were plentiful. Their steak was the star of our meal. Perfectly cooked and well seasoned. They topped it with butter and had some umami sauce on the side.Our server Korine was also so helpful and attentive to us throughout the night.Will definitely come back and recommend.
