The ambience and the food was great with quality. This place can be very reserved at times so definitely be prepared to wait a few minutes before you’re taken to your table. The steak was delicious and their sides were marvelous as well. I’m only posting 4 stars as my father had ordered the surf and turf but they had never brought it and ended up not charging it.
Good steakhouse but overpriced for the quality of the final product. Medium rare ribeye came out dry and tough without the anticipated flavor. A steak that costs $92 should come out to perfection. Another guest I was with sent her steak back as her steak was well done when ordered medium. Never knew a steakhouse would have such trouble with cooking their steaks. Side dishes are very expensive ($18/each) for very small serving as well. Dessert was outstanding. Excellent waiter who was very friendly. Tuesday night dinner service had a DJ and was a bit loud for a steakhouse. Was roughly $220/person for this type of dinner. Google only has $100+ option.
RESERVATION: Did the reservation online (Google Maps, led to Open Table), which was convenient and easy. Our request to get a round table for 2 people was accommodated, really appreciated it =) Round table has more privacy.FOOD: As a restuarant, food portion is big. Any meal can be shared between 2 people. Steak, obviously, is superb!DRINKS: As a bar, they have a HUGE selection of alcoholic drinks. Their drinks menu has a font size 5 in a long bond paper. For non-alcoholic drinkers like me, they dont have mocktails and softdrinks on the menu but they do serve them. Our server, Sergey, was very kind to tell us our non-alcoholic choices.AMBIANCE: STK plays LOUD music but has a good playlist, which the other reviews already pointed out. The loudness masks intimate conversations between 2 people, but will be very hard to hear conversations between a group (unless they are shouting).INTERIORS: You have the option of sitting indoors or outdoors (you can choose during reservation). The indoors has the loud party vibe while outdoor is more quiet, ironically. The outdoors is seated under tent structures along the side walk of 43rd street. The Indoors is nicely decorated with the interesting ceiling design and large flower arrangements.SERVICE: Everyone was very assisting. Kudos to Sergey for making our experience at STK extra memorable. He was very thoughtful. He even gave me a great American Cheesecake as a birthday treat 🍰 😍STK is highly recommended as a must-eat/drink place in NYC.
We came out for my best friend’s birthday and Sibela truly made it a beautiful experience! She was so kind, accommodating and friendly. Even took some amazing photos of the group. The tomahawk was good and the mashed potatoes were really tasty! Thanks Sibela for helping us celebrate my friend!♥️
The STK Steakhouse Midtown NYC (STK) restaurant is an absolute amazing first class restaurant that offers top of the line service along with superbly made dishes.In February of 2022, I brought and treated my wife and myself for dinner at STK to celebrate our Happy Four Year Wedding Anniversary.It was our first time visiting STK, and both my wife and I were deeply impressed with the restaurant’s interior decor, luxurious settings and the playing of R& B and Pop songs.We were graciously welcomed by the restaurant’s staff and we were treated with great kindness and respect from our waiter, Sergey S.Sergey S did a wonderful job on explaining STK’s menu offerings, addressing all of our inquiries, appropriately documenting our orders, and routinely checking in to see if our needs were met.Sergey S exemplified great professionalism and I I definitely hope that he is well compensated for his services at STK.In addition to our great service, my wife and I highly enjoyed all of our meals starting with our bread based meal, followed by our appetizer meal and then our entree meals and desert.Our entrees which included the Long Island steaks was delicious seasoned, well-cooked, well proportioned and incredibly delicious. It truly was mouth watering and definitely ranks among our favorite steaks.We’d like to thank STK for making our Wedding Anniversary special and highly recommend for everyone to visit and dine at this wonderful restaurant!!!
Nick was a fantastic waiter, he catered to all of our needs and paid special attention to our table. He suggested better choices for ordering the mac and cheese and ensured he got my correct steak cook temperature correct.
The dry aged T-bone was amazing! Some of the best steak Ive ever had.The Mac n Cheese was great but you can skip the mashed potatoes, they werent as impressive. Again, overall the food was heavenly!Douglas was an amazing waiter as well. Youd be lucky to have that guy
Great experience once again. Whenever I’m in NYC I make it a point to dine with my girls at STK. It’s the perfect atmosphere for a girls’ evening. Upbeat vibe, consistently delicious food and drinks and most of all great service. Nick is attentive without being intrusive and his wine recommendations are always spot on. He’s simply pleasant and makes us feel like a valued customer whenever we dine. I look forward to the next girls’ night and always make sure Nick is requested.
I took my godmom out for surprise birthday dinner here because I heard great things and reviews were good . I had res for 7p, but still a bit of waiting before we ushered inside. Our waiter was great! Very crowded, beware at 9p or so the crowd changes from dinner to parteeeee an singles looking to mingle 🥰lol
The food and atmosphere was great! Celebrated my sisters Birthday here and we all loved it! I highly recommend this restaurant when you visit New York. The lamb chops and lobster Mac n cheese were excellent.
I dined here about a week ago and was impressed by the quality of the food. The burrata was inventive, bold, and acidic, and the sauce plate was full of unique and inventive sauces. Though bread service is typically disappointing and not attended to at many restaurants, the bread here was great. Despite the quality of their food, the ambiance was terrible, full of loud music that drowned out any possible conversations and made communicating with the waiter impossible. I had to repeat myself multiple times and had “cotes du rhone” miscommunicated as “coke”, which was added onto the bill despite getting it sent back. The service was also incredibly slow- it took 30 minutes for the apple pie to arrive and another 15 for the check. Overall, the food would’ve been enough to send me back but the service and especially the ambiance fell short, so I probably won’t be back.
Modern casual with live music (at night) , a new experience of steak dining in NYC. Booking is required for both indoor or outdoor seating. I like Surf & Turf, Mac & Cheese, Tuna Tartar, of course the bread. Staffs are nice and have good service.
Sibela was such a fantastic waitress for our amazing experience tonight. I will definitely come back.To the drinks, the service, and the hospitality my friends and I received tonight was like no other!If you ever decide to eat here (which you should) please ask for your waiter to be Sibela herself. Her extraordinary energy and personality made the experience seem as if it were, “a once in a life time moment!”
I have to say the food way amazing! Very much recommend this place! It’s just the best stake house in NYC. Appetizers were amazing! Best service, we were served by the gentlemen name Sergei, such a high level service. Thank you Sergei for making our experience even better.
Food was delicious. Portions were small in comparison to the price paid in other fine dining establishments I’ve been to but they have a really nice happy hour! I would recommend ordering from that menu when available.

Made reservations for restaurant week with a few girlfriends just to have a girls night out for Galentine’s Day. Our server Sibela was so helpful and attentive. The food and ambience was awesome! Can’t wait to come again for the next celebration!
Came for restaurant week, SO GOOD! Our waiter was Michael who was absolutely wonderful and noticeable hard working. Lil Burgs with wagyu is phenomenal. Will definitely be coming back!
If you’re single and ready to drop coin to shout at some young ambitious women then this is the place. If you want a great steak, or a business meeting, go elsewhere. If you want you can sit outside they have open air seating with heat lamps, you will pay the full price and not get the experience of the venue atmosphere though. The wagyu flat iron steak is marketed like a wagyu but it’s just a low end steak with no flavor. The best thing on the menu was the lobster Mac and cheese. The filet was ok, the sirloin was pretty good not great for the price and the porterhouse was average. The very expensive crab cakes were more like bread rolls - very little crab compared to other places or for the premium price. It’s very loud. Germaine (sp) was our server. He was extremely polite and was on top of refilling my Diet Coke laid on a bed of frozen water. Good was great as expected but Germaine really hit the mail on the head with his recommendations and personality.Thanks!
Have been here a few times and it never disappoints. The atmosphere is awesome and the DJ brings a chill, loungey vibe. Whatever you do, don’t skip the sweet corn pudding. Our waiter Adam was attentive and personable; will definitely be back soon!
STK was undeniably different from most Steakhouses. The interior was beautiful, great music, lovely energy. Unfortunately, I can’t give STK a 5 star review for two reasons. First reason is that we waited for nearly an hour to be seated even though we had a reservation. The problem was that our seats had been given to someone else. We we’re standing there in front of the hostess for a substantial amount of time and not once were we asked what our names were or to give us at least notice on how long we might be waiting. My girlfriend had to ask the hostess for her to even realize we were still there! Then she’s in “shock” to find out someone is already eating under our name. Ridiculous right? As far as the food, we were trying the restaurant week menu since I’d never done that before. We had a 3 course dinner which included the Lil’ Burgers which were really good, Wagyu flat 8 oz steak, delicious sides, and the dessert was to die for (apple pie/ cheesecake). I will say, the steak was burnt but didn’t have much flavor to it. I don’t know if it’s because we ordered off the restaurant week menu.. I surely hope not. I don’t usually leave reviews for most places, but I had to Karen this review. Not a horrible place, just wish there was more effort towards keeping a happy customer. Don’t know why the steak was so tasteless either…Thank you for coming to my TED talk.

I’d been wanting to visit STK midtown for some time now and finally went.. let me tell you that it didn’t disappoint. Loved the vibe of the place and the servers Hector and Christian went above and beyond to make our experience unforgettable. All the food we ordered was excellent. Specially the Delmonico steak, its a dry aged cut that really comes thru in tenderness and flavor. Lil brg’s are also great!I’ll definitely be coming back. Thank you STK for a great and pleasant night. 100% recommended!
My boyfriend and I were staying in Midtown over the weekend celebrating my birthday and had multiple people suggest this place for dinner. The food, the drinks, and the overall vibes were incredible. Our server Christian was extremely attentive but still gave us as much time as we needed to fully enjoy the place. Can’t recommend this place enough, definitely a must-do if you’re looking for a high quality dinner in NYC!
Our waiter Jermaine was very courteous and attentive he accommodated us well. The place is well located near Times Square and has a cute atmosphere. The steak was delicious, it melted in your mouth. Highly recommend.
I have to say from the hosts to the waiters , you guys are excellent. To the chefs, the food was ridiculously delicious !!! I will definitely come here again with the level of service you guys blessed us with tonight ! I never felt so welcomed and comfortable in a restaurant. Great job 👏
We started with Burrata, as main their Braised Beef Short Rib, wich was really good. Service was terrible. Our server just took the order and never showed up to ask if we needed more drinks or anything else.

I was really excited to come for my birthday dinner on Saturday but was unfortunately very underwhelmed and disappointed in the experience. Service was very long for everything to come to the table. Our steak came out with a hard cold piece of butter on top and the steak wasn’t even warm enough to melt it. Had to send it back to be warmed. Same with our sides, seems like it was ready way before it was brought over. Despite specifying several times that we were celebrating a birthday from the reservation to the hostess, there was nothing special done for us while several people around us got special treatment. Took away from the occasion. We’re not usually complainers so we just paid quietly and left. Not what I expected from an upscale place like this.
My experience at STK was good. The restaurant is highly developed. The drinks were really watery which was disappointing. In addition I told them “I want my steak well done” and it was completely rare which was something I couldn’t even finish because in my opinion it was disgusting. The customer service was excellent, super profesional workers.
We had a wonderful dinner this evening at Stk Midtown. Sergey was wonderful with my children. The food was delicious. We will definitely come back.
Great place to get together with friends! Atmosphere was fun and food was delicious! Visually, the space is awesome and the semi-rounded table pods were super cozy. Perfect ore-theater treat as well. You are sure to enjoy it!

Came for Valentines Day and everything from getting a great table by hostess Lacey (with no wait), to the impeccable attentiveness and service by our waiter Isaiah, attributed to the perfect evening! My husband took me here for my birthday. We had a reservation but arrived a little early. We were still seated before our reserved time, despite them being very busy. The greeters were amazing, so friendly, and so was the waitstaff. Ambiance was beautiful, and I also loved the DJ. He played everything! Including stuff from Trinidad where I’m from! Our waiter Enrique was the best, him and a few other attentive staff did such a good job balancing everything and being timely despite it being incredibly busy! It was a Wednesday but you’d think it was the weekend. Enrique also made sure our dessert came with a little birthday surprise which made everything so much more wonderful! I had such a great time! And if you’re wondering about the food and drinks? 10/10! This is one of my new fav spots!
I came here for a special anniversary dinner and this place did not disappoint. The environment is stunning. STK found a great balance between upscale and great night out with live dJ music (don’t worry it’s not super loud) and eye pleasing interior design. The food looked and tasted amazing. The prices are sky high but worth it for those special occasions. OMG! I have been to STK in Vegas but my experience at STK Midtown trumps it all! We were celebrating multiple birthdays and our server, Olivier, really made our night! We had AMAZING customer service and our food was just as wonderful. I would recommend and also revisit! Olivier must be my server EVERYTIME!
It was such a treat to visit STK in one of my favorite cities EVER! This location has an amazing vibe (great tunes tonight from a DJ, & it was the perfect level!) Sibela was a doll, & we can’t wait to come back! Incredible steak, great service, & delicious sides!
Delicious food and fast and courteous service I felt from the loud music and it was impossible to talk but the restaurant is highly recommended for those who want delicious food in a group of quality people and a beautiful and aesthetic place
Great food. All the steak (porter hours, Australian tomahawk, and dry age tomahawk) were tender and cooked to perfection. Our waiter Sergey was very attentive and gave us an awesome experience

Have been here a few times and its an excellent steak house.Recently had dinner in August. The A5 wagyu is great as an appetizer and is a special experience. STK definitely knows how to cook beef - give the dry age porterhouse a try. For dessert, the cheese cake is delightful, very light.And the service has been great every time, Mili was wonderful - thank you!

We ordered the dry aged tomahawk & Australian tomahawk and both were very flavorful especially the dry aged tomahawk. Sergey, our waiter was very attentive and check in on us very often. Definitely will come back again!

My boyfriend surprised me with an anniversary dinner here and we had a wonderful experience! Our server Adrian went above and beyond to make our time there perfect. She even brought out our dessert with a happy anniversary and happy birthday sign since it had just been my boyfriends birthday. The food was amazing. The creamed corn and mashed potatoes were to die for! Next time we come to New York we will be coming back. Thank you again Adrian!
I wish I could award them TEN STARS for outstanding customer service. This was my fourth visit, and they never fail to wow me. It was my sons birthday, and our waiter, Hector, made our meal unforgettable. The dinner, Drinks, and dessert were all delicious. The DJ, whomever he was, was excellent and played excellent music. The manager came over twice to check on us and inquire about our dinner. I like the personal attention; they know how to treat their customers; I cant wait to go again. Because everything is so nice, I always refer others here.

Assad made my first time at STK worth every minute and dollar. He had amazing recommendations, exceptional service and the greatest personality. Staff was friendly and attentive sat us immediately and catered to our every need. Happy hour is highly recommended here but you wont be disappointed whenever you go! Ask for Assaad. Stopped by for lunch and was blown away. The cocktails and service are impressive even for midtown standards. Amaury and Brandon were knowledge and attentive. We were not rushed and enjoyed several dishes. I highly recommend.
I went to STK midtown 12/22/2021 I had high hopesThe ambiance was club vibes the DJ was good but the music was loudThe drinks were good and not watered downThe bathroom Attendant in the women’s bathroom was WONDERFUL a really nice girl even helped me take a few picsBUT THE FOOD WAS BURNT and dry wasn’t worth the priceI had a surf and turf the filet was burnt and so was the lobster tail burnt and rubberyMy boyfriend had a NY strip which was burnt on some spots ( THE FOOD TOOK 15 min so I guess the burned was rushed cooking) the Lobster Mac was Child sized bowl definitely NOT WORTH 32$It was my birthday and the did give me a free cake slice which was really good and the servers in the restaurant did say happy birthday so that was niceOverall I won’t be going back I can’t accept burnt food
The steaks were very salty, got the fillet, and tomahawk. Fillet was very dry, even at medium rare. The tomahawk had rough skin and it was a bit crispy. We also got the free range chicken, skin was very soggy but chewy at the same time and just wet with no flavor. The chicken itself was very tasteless and had no seasoning. Whatever seasoning wasn’t on the chicken, made it’s way to the tomahawk steak. The lobster Mac-n-cheese was pretty good, but the cheese on top was crusty and dried up quickly so it was just hardened cheese. I only have the chicken for reference.

The service was wonderful. The ambiance of the restaurant was very fancy but not overpowering. Our waiter Billy was very attentive throughout our entire meal and could not have asked for a better experience.
Great bar for a happy hour with great crafted cocktails. Try “not your fathers old fashioned” and cucumber something :) disappointed they did not have ingredients for their Bullfighter cocktail I specifically came in to try but was happy to switch to these other options. Small bites menu is also pretty good, try short ribs croquettes and wagyu meatballs.
Very swanky atmosphere. Excellent music. Hostess team at the front door were amazing, except the one that was drinking while assisting me. Once seated, it felt like each table was on top on another- no personal space. Waiter took a long time to serve us water. Then took another 10 minutes or so to take our order. The water was refilled after every sip- what service. Just wondered why other tables had bread before us….patiently waited. I shared a Caesar salad- no trace of an anchovy anywhere, bland. I ordered the Maple BBQ salmon. 0 stars for flavor and presentation and price. Also had a T-Bone steak- excellently prepared. Everyone wished my daughter a happy birthday, from the hostess to the waiter. So, no happy birthday dessert plate? NO! You pay all this money hoping the food has flavor, the servers are attentive, the environment is clean and vibrant and for that little extra touch.
Both short of ah-maxing! Celeb yes big lil bro’s graduation and STK came through! Shout out to Alfred for being so attentive and creative. His service was sublime! The extra touches on our drinks, food recs and dessert…chef’s kiss! This is service at it’s finest. Don’t get me at on the food. Everything I mean EVERYTHING, was delicious. My boyfriend and I had an amazing experience at STK. Our waiter, Sergey, was very very kind and was constantly checking in on us making sure we were satisfied during our meal. He made great suggestions for dinner that turned out to be delicious. I got the maine lobster linguine and my boyfriend had got the new york strip, both were out of this world. Their bread my I add, is made fresh before your meal and is a bundle of buttery goodness. I 1000% recommend STK, I wish there was one closer!! Overall, 1000/10.
I tried A5 Wagyu beef here at STK, and it was delicious. Our server, Olivier was splendid. He was very friendly, and made sure we were enjoying ourselves. I celebrated my birthday here, and I have no regrets. The lobster tail, with 4oz A5 Wagyu filet, sided with a crispy mash potatoe and Mac & Cheese, made a great entrée. I don’t know why they decorated my plate to look like a phalic shape hahaha symbolism? Anyways I’m not mad at it 😏
This was one of the worst dining experiences I’ve ever had and I also used to be a server. I will specify this is my experience as a black women, so if you’re not black your experience may differ. I would expect this service from Applebee’s…and I am very disappointed. The reservation was made for 8:30 we didn’t get sat until 8:50. The hostess first told us to wait because they were cleaning the table 15 minutes later the excuse was now we have two parties ahead of us. We finally get to our outdoor table and our light doesn’t work (pictures included)so we’re eating dinner in the dark.(Why would you sit guests at a table where lights don’t work?!) We’re greeted by our server and order. Our order takes about 20 minutes and comes out incorrectly. I order a wagyu and my sister ordered a ny strip with truffle butter…and when they came out my wagyu had truffle butter and my sister’s did not have butter. They rectified the mistake but from the chef to the server to our table this mistake should’ve been caught and rectified. We received a complimentary dessert. This was a horrible and subpar dining experience. I don’t recommend.
Best service I ever received from Arton. Greatest experience especially after an amazing meal and drinks . And a congratulations cake from Arton made my experience there much better and he was very polite. I would definitely return. Just a great wedding dinner

This place is amazing. Beautiful inside! Two bars to wait at if you need to wait for a table. Music is diverse and great! Could not sit still in my seat the entire duration of my dinner. My boyfriend and I showed up 30 minutes late for our reservation and we’re still seen within 10 minutes of our arrival. The food was great! Drinks were great! No complaints here! We had Christian. He was a great server. Very attentive and kind. He made some recommendations and they were great!

The restaurant was really pretty and had a nice ambiance. We had a dinner reservations for my sisters birthday @8:30PM.We got seated and ordered our food - IT TOOK 2 HOURS to get our food to our table. There were people seated after us and got there food in time and left. We still didn’t get our dinner. We got our food around 11PM. Our steak was COLD. They didn’t even bother giving us the complimentary bread while we were waiting. We had to ASK. Even after we did, still took another hour.Our server name was Katherine. Sheseemed irritated the whole time. The manager came and expressed her apologies regarding the “human error” - not sure exactly what the happened. She offered to provide some items comp; however we still got charged for the second round of drinks. They gave us 2 sides on the house that we didn’t even ask for or ate.It was my younger sisters birthday. We requested a sparkler on our cake on the reservation and verbally before we sat down.They came out with a cake with a small little candle. We asked Katherine if we can get a sparkler and then she gave us a whole narrative on why we need to ask for it before and it’s not done on a daily basis. “I’m just telling you guys this next time you come.” There was a group of young boys who got a cake with sparkler. OUR SERVER KNEW IT WAS HER BIRTHDAY.You would think after all the mishap they would do ONE thing correctly.After we paid the tab, the manager had the audacity to ask to if there is anything she could do to make the night better. She offered a ”night cap” after we already paid for our tab.NEVER coming back.
My first time! The vibe of STK was great! A good vibe and lots of good music that caters to everyone! Our server Sergey was great and checked on us very often and gave us very good recommendations!
Had a great experience with the server Sibela. The Food on the other hand. It was interesting, my wife picked this location bc it was my bday and also it’s known for there STK BUT the place was out of there porter house STK. I choose the Delmonico steak nothing special. I didn’t get to finish my plate. The side dishes were very good my steak was average.All and all my server Sibela is great at what she does but I’ll give it a three stars bc of not having in stock any of your large STK. The Delmonico tasted like a steak I cook in my house.
Olivier was simply the best hands down, very attentive, awesome personality and added to the vibe STK provides. The restaurant itself was amazing and the food was delish.

Came here for my fourth year anniversary. The vibes were great, great food, great dj and the BEST server ever. SERGEY was very attentive and made sure to make our day VERY special. I would definitely recommend this place!
Last night, we hit up STK Midtown after a matinee of Caroline, or Change. We had a reservation and they seated us a bit early, after a warm greeting, in a large, comfy booth right near the DJ (which we loved). Make sure you have your vax card with you when in NYC as every location checks it before seating. STK Midtown is chill with perfect lighting and a midmod flare. The DJ IS THE BEST, playing all the 90s and early 2000s classics. You will be dancing in your seat like we were. The service was top notch. Ask for Les... Dont forget: Les is More. He was attentive and made us feel very welcomed and was not overbearing. The managers checked in but it wasnt intrusive. Now for the food... It was incredible. Great flavor on all dishes. The Baby Gem Caesar Salad is a perfect start and the Tuna Tartare with avocado, taro chips and soy-honey emulsion is rich, creamy and the flavor combinations get your palate singing. The filet mignon was perfectly cooked. Steaks tend to be on the pinker side at STK so I ordered medium well and it was what I call a perfect medium/medium rare. The Miso Glazed Chilean Sea Bass is an unexpected standout on the menu. Super flavorful. The Free Range Chicken is a solid option as well. The Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes are smooth with a lovely parmesan crust crunch and you cant go wrong with STKs grilled asparagus as it pairs well with all of their entrees. For dessert, the Bag of Donuts with cinnamon sugar coating and three dipping sauces (dulce de leche, raspberry, and chocolate) are a crowd favorite. The Chocolate Cake with chocolate ganache sauce is a rich explosion of creamy chocolate and one piece is enough for at least 2 people to share. There is an extensive selection of wine, cocktails and beer. They stuff their olives with blue cheese onsite so if youre a martini lover, DO IT. Make a reservation and take your time at STK Midtown. It will be worth it.
Sibela was a fabulous server and we thoroughly enjoyed our dinner! Steaks and blue butter were so good. Excellent wine and cocktail selection. Fries and Brussels rounded out the meal. Perfect way to spend out last night in NYC!
Came here for a belated birthday celebration and let me just say this was the PERFECT place. They crowd was elegant, the DJ had the vibes right and the food was on point. Adrianne hosted our table and she was cheerful, funny and very pleasant. Everyone who attended to us was very warm and kind. I highly recommend STK for dinner, happy hour or even just enjoying the bar. I will most definitely be back
Beautiful venue and atmosphere. The food took forever to come out. When it finally did it was very mediocre. You expect more when spending this kind of money. Opted to leave my tip in cash but after I was gone a few days later additional money was taken out . Was excited to visit STK but after that experience I will never be back.
We visited STK to celebrate our anniversary. The ambiance had a great vibe and good music. Olivier was our server and he was the best! He was friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable. He made great recommendations on the menu. Our food was excellent. We greatly enjoyed the experience and look forward to coming back soon!
We went for my sisters bday. The inside was beautiful but we booked for outside because we didnt really have a choice. When we arrived the booth outside had broken plugs and the heaters couldnt be plugged in. The guy helping us did a great job supplying heaters but it didnt work out so we moved to another outdoor booth and he set us up properly and we were comfortable.Our server, Katherine was awesome, she literally felt like she came with our group to how well we all connected and the service she provided. The food was good not sure it was worth what we paid but we knew where we were going and the cost so. Drinks were good, shots on deck, all good fun!
This photo is of what $140 will get you from STK.Terrible experience with their Thanksgiving for 2. We ordered well in advance and paid $140 for the meal. What showed up was an embarrassment.It was missing the pumpkin pie. Literally 2 tablespoons of stuffing were sent to share. Sweet potatoes were represented by a few cubes. An underwhelming amount of Turkey given the cost. Green beans that were undercooked.The worst part? I spent 25 minutes on hold to ask for the rest of our meal to be sent, only to find out the person I was speaking to was at an outsourced reservation service and there was no way to talk to the restaurant itself.STK ruined our Thanksgiving dinner. If you’re going to offer the meal at a premium price, it needs to be good — or at the very least, complete. And when things go wrong, refusing to talk to your customers is not what I’d expect from any business.

We had a phenomenal time at STK tonight. Sergey was our waiter and I must say that the customer service was amazing! The food came timely and it was delicious. Try the short ribs, corn pudding, and mushroom and truffle tagliatelle.
Love coming to STK to celebrate birthdays! On this particular day we had a server, James, who was absolutely amazing. Our meal was accidentally placed on another table so we had to wait a bit longer for our order to come out and he handled the situation perfectly. We were completely understanding of what happened, but he made sure to accommodate us for our lost time and we thought that was really sweet. 10/10 recommend.
Sergey was AMAZINGGGGGGG!!!! We had the tuna tartare and hanger steaks and the apple pie for dessert. The atmosphere was great and Sergey was very attentive and polite. He made the dining experience seamless and comfortable. I would definitely come back again. Xoxo

I had a really great time. The vibe is what really sets this place. Fun for a birthday/celebratory outing. The food is really good--not the best Ive had, but good enough. I felt really taken care of. Olivier was our server and it was super refreshing to have someone as great as him. He is truly excellent.
The energy is great. Staff is very professional and courteous. The music is live. It’s like dining at the club. Great sound system. If you don’t like music while eating this is probably not the place for you to dine in. Very sophisticated cloud. I was their to celebrate my birthday with friends I had a great time. I will definitely come back. By the way, the food was great I had the surf and turf. You can select the lobster like I did for the surf. I was in heaven. Yeah just try this place for yourself. Oh I forgot to mention the drinks I only had two and I felt them. And just when you thought the experience was over they turned down the lights and gave everyone shot glasses. The staff walked through the restaurant with flares and thanked everyone for coming out. Oh you have to make a reservation.
Food was AWESOME! And as for my server Olivier, he was Outstanding. I informed him that this was my first visit here and that I was celebrating my wifes birthday. He walked us through the menu, which he knew top to bottom, and he suggested some very good items. And of course he didnt forget the reason we came, he made sure she had a complimentary slice of the worlds greatest cheesecake. I wouldnt hesitate to do it again.

Lol how does a place like this doesn’t have mule cups? 21$ for this?I made a reservation for 2 to celebrate my boyfriends birthday, I even wrote is as a note when I reserved, I guess I was expecting too much from here… we didn’t even get the free shots that they literally gave to everybody on our section but us, and when I spoke up about it the server completely ignored us.The place is visually very nice, the food it’s not bad, but no sense of hospitality from anyone that works there, starting from the from desk, where they knew we were there for a birthday celebration, and didn’t have the courtesy of letting our server know.Even in simpler restaurants they have the kindness to make someone feel welcomed on their birthday, at least a simple candle would’ve done it, I wasn’t even expecting free anything, but a simple gesture.I won’t be coming back here.

The food was good, but it came out way late. Our server was pretty bad too. He rarely came by and was pretty slow. One person in our party wasnt served any food, and they probably ordered the most expensive item. Management took care of this problem. The atmosphere is fun, and the decor is pretty cool. Overall, not terrible, but not what Id expect when paying this much.
My girlfriend had surprised me with a reservation here for my birthday, and let me tell you , we don’t regret it one bit. From the ambience, to the hospitality, to the cleanliness , everything here is great. Our server Cristian took great care of us, and definitely made some top notch recommendations that will make us come visit again!Being a popular steakhouse here in the heart of New York, it gets a bit busy during their happy hours, so make sure to have a reservation. STK is my favorite place. The food and drinks are always A-1. And the service is amazing. Seated promptly during happy hour and even benefit from the happy hour menu while seated. OLIVIER was our waiter and he was an absolute treat. Attentive, knowledgeable and super friendly. Date night was a plus thanks to Him. We met a beautiful young couple seated next to us and Olivier gave us shots to celebrating her birthday . Always enjoy my time at STK. Can’t wait to come back soon.
Last night I had the pleasure of having dinner at STK during the NYC restaurant week promotion. All of the food was amazing. I am still dreaming of the crabcake. I would expect nothing less from a restaurant of this caliber. I am really here to shout out Adriane. She was AMAZING. She was always present and just joy overall. Southern girls do it best!!! Another shout out to Fred doing his rounds and checking in with a grin I can see from under a mask. I will be back!!!

Interior and ambiance was great. The food was not worth the money though. We have an STK where we live in London which was absolutely amazing all round, the food was to die for so you dont mind paying the hefty price tag. We loved it, hence why we booked this one when visiting New York for my 21st, but unfortunately it did not live up to expectations. We felt we were really rushed out and the food came out mega quickly. The waiter wasnt very friendly either. The lady at the front desk on the other hand was lovely though.

Went for a team dinner and it great! We tried a little bit of everything. Some of us ordered steak, we got the chicken and the sea bass was delicious. Our waiter Jay was so nice and patient! It’s tough handling a group of hungry coworkers! He made great recommendations…you gotta try the sweet corn pudding!

Our 1st time visiting STK, we were not disappointed with anything. Beautiful restaurant , excellent service our server Olivier he was fantastic. He left nothing undone, he helped us with recommendations and knew the menu inside & out. I didnt think I could fit dessert in but the choices made this impossible. My husband had the cookie skillet and I chose the cheesecake with berries. We will be back!!
This is the worse experience I ever have in any restaurant.I order a bottle a wine 506 oysters 27And a potter house 115 with mass potatoes 18 and sparagus 18. When ordering I ask my server if I can get this served in a board so it can look nice for presentation server said it was ok .For my surprise I got a bill for 530 dollars for 2 people dinner.the server decided he can add 10 to 12 different sauce butters truffles and each one was 12dollars and truffles 40 that I didn’t order. I guest this was a nice way of trying truffle for the first time lol.I tough this was part of the presentation because believe me 2 people don’t need 10 different sauce to eat only one steak.When ask for the manager to explain the situation to tell her I didn’t order 10 different sauce truffles or butters . She said I had to pay for it that she will only take 2 off . I got so mad I decided to pay the bill and just leave this place .This is the first and last time I visit this place I feel like I got rip off and ended up paying for something I didn’t order .
STK Midtown is an amazing place. I celebrated my birthday there tonight. The atmosphere and vibe was very chill. The staff from the hostess to the waitstaff was awesome. Our waiter Enrique was great. The food and drinks were amazing. I rate this place 5 stars. Will be back again.......
Spent New Year’s Eve dinner here! Absolutely fantastic! Had the truffle gnocchi. Highly recommend. We had Billy as our server and he was fantastic! He took care of us and was very thorough the entire evening. It was a busy night and we never had to “look for our waiter.” He was always checking in us! 5 stars!
The food was amazing! I got the surf and turf. The shrimp was smoked so well. The wine was amazing, and Sibela was absolutely delightful! Her energy from the beginning was warm and welcoming. She spoke old enough over the music which was so helpful, and she had great recommendations!

Good atmosphere. Delicious food. Expensive though... my NY strip was almost $70. And no, it doesnt come with sides... those cost another $20 if you want mashed potatoes. And a beer to wash it down? $9 a bottle. If money isnt a thing for you... great place. Otherwise... save it for a special night out.
Great experience! Came for a date night out and the service was incredible Sergey was our server and he was incredible! We took all of his recommendations and they were perfect. We split the porter house steak with truffle butter and pepper corn crust. It was cooked to perfection and the sides are delicious too. We will definitely be back.
I had a great experience last night while catching up with friends. Id never been to STK before, but I will be returning. The restaurant was very busy, so Im glad we had reservations in advance. The design inside the restaurant is very nice, and they had DJ. The music was modern, but wasnt too loud to enjoy conversation; it was really a nice compliment to the night together. They brought out bread in the beginning, which was incredible. We shared the fried calamari, little burgers, tuna tartare, and caesar salad. We enjoyed all of them. I had the 10 oz. filet along with a nice red wine recommended by our waiter. Oh, and dont skip dessert! The donuts were like little clouds and the sauces were amazing. If you prefer a cocktail, I recommend the Spicy Watermelon. It was like a watermelon margarita. I always try to hold on to summer ;)! Our waiter, Andres, was the absolute best! He recommended great wine and drinks for us, and he was always smiling and happy to serve us. Even with the best atmosphere and food, a terrible waiter can ruin the night. Andres brought everything together and provided true hospitality as we caught up with friends over dinner!

STK was amazing!! The food was done well and with much attention to detail. The steak was pristine as well as the appetizers and sides, all done to perfection to be honest. Place has a beautiful aesthetic, great music and unbelievable vibe. Food is excellent, their bread with the olive oil mixed with chives is no joke - to die for! Everything we tried is delicious, I would pass on the truffle fries as it’s nothing special in my opinion. I’m rating 4/5 due to the waitress being quite stuck-up and extremely pushy. Overall an amazing steakhouse.

I brought my girlfriend here on our trip to NYC for her birthday. Our server Olivier provided excellent service! He recommended a lot of his favorites from the menu and shared additional descriptions of the menu items. The best part was when he added to the birthday celebration by giving us complimentary dessert! We will definitely be back the next time we’re in the city.
Food is very good, however the service was abysmal. It is easy to find good food, when I go to a high-end restaurant I expect superb service, which STK Steakhouse could not offer. As it was my first time at this restaurant, I asked the waitress for recommendations, she couldnt make any. When I asked her a question regarding the differences in sauces, she couldnt explain. Her attitude was I dont know, I only take orders.I had sparkling water in a glass, a waiter came by our table to top up the glasses, before I could say anything he poured tap water in my sparkling water. Although he realized his mistake, no one bothered to replace the sparkling water.When the food was served, it wasnt organized nor coordinated. The waiter spilled some of the vegetables onto the table which was not cleaned.I received far better service at Red Lobster. In fact, STK Steakhouse cannot compete with Red Lobster when it comes to service. If you decide to go to this restaurant, you can expect good food, but the service might be one of the worst you can ever receive.

I made a reservation for what I hoped would have been a romantic, peaceful dinner with my partner but this place was far from peaceful. I can appreciate music but the music was so loud it was impossible to even think, let alone try to read their menu. If you are turning 21 and want to feel like you are at a club while eating steak, this is the place for you! For anyone else looking to enjoy dinner over a great conversation and avoid a migraine, I recommend you look somewhere else.We were asked to order appetizers and entrees at the same time to help the kitchen. A little odd, but we didn’t think much of it. I ordered my filet steak medium but what I received was an over cooked hockey puck. Our waitress, Isabella was great and corrected the situation.Overall, our experience was short of our expectation. We walked away with a migraine and with a hefty bill for an underwhelming dinner.
The service by Sergey was impeccable. We informed him we were tight on tight due to an 8 PM show, and he was very accommodating. His friendly temperament, made our entire experience more enjoyable. We are definitely going to dine at STK midtown the next time we’re in town! Oh, let’s not forget the amazing food! Everything was cooked perfectly to our liking!

My boyfriend and I came here for our last night in NYC and the ambiance in this restaurant was amazing! Can I talk about the service I had?! All I can say is I had an exceptional service by Olivier he gave me an introduction of the restaurant it was short and sweet + his recommendations. We basically ordered everything he recommended. Ask for Olivier! Trust me you will be in good hands.
Mikaela was so great! I came to celebrate my birthday from Wisconsin! It was awesome to have someone so attentive and knowledgeable to the menu. My meal was perfect because of her knowledge of the menu. She made my birthday dinner perfect! If you go to this location, please request her. She’s AMAZING.
Came out to STK Midtown for the first time for my birthday recently. The environment is A+, food is great, and the DJ really knew what they were doing. Also Katherines service was great!!! upbeat, positive, personable, knowledgeable and really made my birthday celebration memorable. She was super busy and still made sure to check in on us. I got my birthday cake at the end with a sparkler in it like my friend requested. Will definitely be going back in the future!!

The best! The customer service was excellent. Attentive, knowledgeable, with a positive attitude and smiles. These days, small gestures can make a big difference. We began with the Shellfish Platter, which was decadent. There are numerous options. The portion size was enormous. Eating seafood from out of state is always risky. It was well worth it. Every STK was perfectly grilled. So tender and flavorful. The tater tots were enormous, and the brussels sprouts were delicious!
Amazing evening. Party of 5 on the evening of my wedding to Yvonne. Setting is gorgeous, staff are wonderful who, upon seeing Yvonne in her wedding dress have us free champagne. The food is amazing, expensive but worth every penny. Steaks wear beautiful, desserts were out of this world. Would I go back? Yes, next time Im in NYC Ill be visiting again.Thanks STK for a great night.
So glad to be back at STK! While a it’s been a while, the food and service have not changed. Sibela was absolutely incredible and so attentive. Really hoping she works brunch because I’m coming back for breakfast.
Brandon was an excellent server who definitely provided the best first STK experience! His recommendations were super on point. And his natural hospitable personality combined with his meticulous menu knowledge made our date night so much more special. Overall service was also above and beyond, and left us impressed! We loved the R&B playlist!

This was my first time at the Midtown location. I ordered the Maine lobster linguine, Brussels spouts, caesar salad and a cobbler martini. The food and service were great as always.

This place was amazing. Great ambiance, great music, great food. And our Waite Adam was so knowledgeable and attentive. We felt like we were his only table. Even though we know he had others. He is awesome!

Adam was our server for restaurant week we attended. He was the most kindest waiter with not just us but all the other tables. Truly sweet guy. Dinner was really good, a little of a wait in between meals but it was a Sunday night. Loved the experience!
Olivier was an amazing server! He came to our table shortly after wee wee seated and gave us a run down of the menu, the popular items and his personal favorites without being asked!He was super friendly, personable and funny. He went the extra mile and really takes pride in everything he does! :-)
The restaurant staff did not attend to us in a timely manner whatsoever. They made several mistakes and completely missed key items and points. We were left without water or our drinks for 95% of our dining experience.Our waiter begged for us to write them a 5 star review while mentioning their name so they could receive a free kickback from the restaurant/manager. That’s why if you look at the reviews you see so many ratings mention specific names/employees.In addition, our waiter gave us the bill to pay on their tablet, however, he intentionally set the tip amount to 20% and hold the tablet for us to pay so we practically could not change the tip amount without him saying something about it.Pros- The food was fantastic.Cons- Waiter service was slow and very infrequent.- Waiter service forgot sides/sauces/menu items.- Waiter begged us to write them a 5 star review while mentioning their name so they could receive a kickback from the restaurant.- Would not let us pay in private and watched us pay while setting the amount to 20% by default.

Absolutely amazing time here celebrating one of my best friend’s birthdays. The steak was succulent, the service was amazing. Sergey was our waiter and he really treated us like celebrities. He was extremely attentive, gave the birthday girl a shot, gave us menu recommendations. I’m really happy and will be back.

Can’t express how much I loved this restaurant, the space, the food. Best is the VIP-level staff from the doorman, hostess & bartenders…especially the waiters. My girlfriend and I felt like our server #Lesismore could read our minds and when it came to menu suggestions, and as soon as I would even think to ask for another drink it would already be on the table. We came for the food, but coming back for that experience. If you love steak, a great environment, music and great service you’re winning at this STK.
One of the Great steakhouse in NYC! Foods were awesome, but the porterhouse was not greater than other famous steakhouse in NYC.
Let’s start from the beginning…we made a 7:15pm reservation before we flew to NYC and we get there and they claimed that they did not have us down for a 7:15pm reservation. So, they pushed us over to the bar to wait for them to figure it out and didn’t even comp our drinks. We finally got a table, chairs were catering company chairs and the table could barely fit 2 plates on it. They threw us in the back corner and it was 85+ degrees in there with music playing from a DJ, so loud…The service was terrible. Took us 2 hours to get in and out. The steaks were either way over cooked or way under cooked. The mashed potatoes were really good though, I will give them that. The people next to us complained about their steak as well and the manager on duty was just making excuses that it’s Saturday night and they are trying to get people in and out as fast as they can and that the chef is trying to get food out as fast as possible. Not a great excuse nor a great experience. We will definitely never be back. A real steakhouse doesn’t use a freaking DJ????

Came here while visiting NYC. Food was wonderful. Our server Sibela was well versed on the menu and super helpful.
STK is great. Expensive but if you go for the Happy Hour menu at the bar it will offset what would most likely be a hefty bill should you decide to dine at the tables. Good drinks, awesome filling appetizers. I recommend the Short Rib Beef quesadillas, cheesy tater tots and calamari with a nice classic margarita. Enjoy
Gotta say my first time coming here was great. It’s an awesome restaurant for a special occasion the music was on point too! My server Michael was able to recommend a good dish with the perfect bourbon bacon butter topping. BEST piece of steak!!! so delicious a meal well enjoyed.
We had an after work dinner last Friday, we called it the calm dining before the storm :) and it turned out to be not only calm superb. The risotto was flavorful, simply amazing as usual. Adrian our server was perfect and attentive, well look forward to going back and maybe on a much better weather next time.

Wonderful service and amazing food and drinks all night Adrienne was our server and couldn’t have been more accommodating or kind. She gave us a heads up that large tables were ordering so we would be ahead of them. Didn’t feel rushed. We shared apps (Bacon!, burrata, Caesar salad), strip steak and short ribs and lots of sides (Mac and cheeses, Brussels sprouts, corn pudding and cream spinach) Recommend sharing. Too much great food on menu and very accommodating with boxes for leftovers. Even with all that, best thing may be the music.

Had my first experience dining at this location, having been to the location on disney property before. Olivieri was my server tonight and he was excellent. 2022-06-26Absolutely love this place. Visited on a Saturday night made reservations a few days in advance. Night of was running late was able to adjust reservations for an hour later. Note, if you dont arrive 15 min after your reservation they will cancel it. High level of energy there is a DJ that is playing a good variety of popular music. Saw multiple people dancing in their booths. Great vibe and full of attractive people. Attire is casual to elegant. There is outdoor seating is available. Homemade bread is served in cast iron pots with blue cheese butter topping and a cilantro side sauce, must try! Steaks were cooked perfectly, lobster butter wasnt hot lukewarm warm at best. Side dishes were great recommend trying the corn whipped potatoes!! Wine list is very hard to read - for a cocktail try the cucumber stiletto.

2022-03-30The location is absolutely stunning with the most fascinating ceiling design and lovely floral arrangements. The music was a little too loud for me (I prefer to be able to speak without raising my voice at dinner) but the music choices were pretty good. Regarding food BEST STEAK I’VE EVER HAD (I originally wanted the wagyu but it was not available sadly) I tried the NY Strip instead. It was great. The crispy calamari was also absolutely delectable. I ended with the donuts which were a delight. The steak was def the star of the show.

2022-05-21The location was a bit hard to find with the construction in the area, but the search was well worth the effort! It was a party to say the least; perfect melody of 90s music. Our service was fantastic and our meals spectacular! The ceviche served with plantains is a must have experience! Overall fabulous time!

2021-12-30Excellent place.The place has an incredible setting with extremely sophisticated decorations and a quiet and peaceful atmosphere.The attention is extremely careful and they are in all the details to spend an exceptional moment.The food is exquisite, highlighting the cuts of meat that are very varied and are perfectly executed in their cooking.The attention is quite fast if you consider that everything is cooked at the moment so that it is fresh.

2022-03-17From the beginning was a really nice experience, service wise great , the food was another level the best steak I had this year we eat mushrooms as a side (so good!!!) the oysters weren’t particularly good (just ok ) , the wine was amazing the bread was to die for . Beside what you can expect on a restaurant there were few other things that gladly surprise us the music mix from the DJ took our night to another level he put together the must awesome Latin mix that just made my night (probably I was the only one enjoy it ) and the decorations and light were on point we will definitely come back on our next trip to NY

I would highly recommend to make a reservation before going to the restaurant otherwise youll be waiting for a long time until you get seated.This seems to be a very popular place for meal, drinking, and parties. The music is very upbeat, it makes you feel like you in a club. however, it may be quite difficult for you to chat with your friends unless you are speaking very very loud.we were here to celebrate my birthday for the night, we noted that in the reservation. There is quite a selection of food, we chose the seafood platter and a medium steak for dinner. the waiter doesnt seem to know that we were here for birthday celebration till my friend advised him until dessert time.The waiter ordered us a cheese cake that can be shared since we were very full from dinner already. it was a nice touch that there was a chocolate piece the happy birthday message.Sadly, compare to last week in Washington DC when we were celebrate my friends birthday. It was fully taken care of by the waiter and he gave us a complimentary cake by the end of the meal. we had was more or less the same appetizer and main course. The price was around the same as well for around four hundred bucks for the two of us.

What tied the whole experience together was our fantastic server, William. He went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience for our dinner. 2022-05-26Pretty nice restaurant. I decided to start my birthday with a quiet solo lunch. Food did not disappoint. Waiter and staff attentive and friendly. Two stars lost because I did not order the warm chocolate chip cookie. Waiter brought it out with a candle and happy birthday. I was touched, because I wasnt looking for any type of recognition. I assumed it was a nice treat and I welcomed it. I dont like chocolate but I ate it anyway because I didnt want to be rude. Well, it was added to my bill. Lol. I was not amused...I decided not to press the issue but if youre offering a birthday treat that you charge the customer for at least say so up front. This was one of those pick your battles situation and the $13 wasnt worth it.

2021-12-30Sibela was an extraordinary server! Absolutely loved our experience here. Our steaks were cooked to perfection, beautiful atmosphere, and our drinks were mixed well. Truly professional staff who ALL wore their masks properly over their noses, and checked at the door for vaccination status. Lots of respect for this place!

2021-12-15Great staff, very accommodating as we had no reservations and came here on a whim after being turned away from another steak house. Their loss, our gain. The location was clean, cozy and not too loud. Of course meal was perfect. My friend obsessed about the bread, but the real winners were my strip and the truffle fries! I believe our waiters name was Adam. Even though he was in the weeds, he was very attentive, but not overbearing. Which is always appreciated. I believe the manager came by to check on us as well.
