Went to the drive through dinosaur “adventure” where you can shoot fake dinosaurs as you drive throughout the farm . Completely bottomed out the car and ripped loose my muffler on my van. HUGE Ruts and tons of mud where we were told to drive . Caused 1900 dollars worth of damage to my car . Absolutely no maintenance . Never again
Parking: spacious and easy to accessHandicap friendly restroomsYou can spend an entire day here with your family. They have exotic animals such as Camels and Kangaroos, even a white wallaby. Theres Zip Lining, up to 3 jungle gyms, and a cute shop where you can buy spreads and other basic essentials.
We went tonight for their advertised twilight dinner looking over the field. They advertise dinner, with wine slushees and craft beer. When we get there we get a paper coupon for a meal from the food truck that was there and not a single beer or wine slushee in sight. Food was extremely bad. The field was a major disappointment. We’ve been to other sunflower events with much better looking fields. This place is geared way more toward children and should never list the twilight experience like they do making adults think it’s a romantic time. Very disappointed with the whole experience. Will never go back.
Great family fun. We come here yearly for our pumpkin picking tradition. So much for the kids to do, it makes a whole day of fun. Bouncy pillows, giant slides, zip lines, a cute train ride, pedal go cars, playgrounds, apple and pumpkin launching, petting zoo area, as well as a little corn filled out for the younger ones to play. Theres also a good food selection with EXCELLENT apple cider and apple cider donuts. And a hayride shuttle to get you around. Love it and will keep coming back. The admission is a bit pricey ($14/person) but worth it at the end of the day.
My 3 year old son had so much fun here, and actually took a nap after! There are all kinds of different animals to feed, a train ride, hay rides, several different playgrounds and large slides, zip lines, tunnels to crawl through, a pedal car race track, a toy truck area with rocks, a corn ball pit, and a great little gift shop. The only thing I wish they had is more food options, but I suppose next time I can just pack a lunch for my little guy.
We just took a small homeschool group here on a field trip. All of the staff were super nice and helpful. There was a LOT to do at the farm. Our kids started out on the pillow for bouncing, then went to feed the animals, took a hayride, got some pumpkins, played in a huge corn pit, took a train/tractor ride, and finished up with some lunch in the barn.In some respects, this was a little like an amusement park. We were only here from 11am to 2pm but it looked like there was a lot we didnt get to do. Well definitely come back on our own some weekend to do that extra stuff!
Our family has been going here for 20+ years to cut our own Christmas 🎄 One year we had trouble cutting one down so one of the guys took us out on a cart and cut it down with a chain saw. We miss the Canaan Firs because of their strong fir smell. But understand that they are a very slow growing tree. Theyre very hard to find anywhere. The best thing this year was being able to use an electric saw!!
An absolutely must go to for families, friends, and lovers. You will find plenty of things to do during the fall harvest season. You can kiss in the corn fields, pick pumpkins for teachers, and shoot apples from a canon. So much fun. One of the Rochester area’s finest attractions.
My kids always enjoy themselves at Stokoe but I get frustrated when after paying a lot of money (I have 4 kids) not every area is open. I dont know if its lack of staffing but we go every year and theres always at least one part closed. I also dont think its worth paying extra for the kids to be able to use the zip line. At that price it really should be included.
Love this place ..we had the greatest time here ...there is so much to do and so much fun to be had too ...its admission price is high. .too high for a lot of familys that cant afford to pay $12.00 per person ... its a shame cuz sea breeze is cheaper and stays open a lot longer..so where do u think they will go ...to sea breeze of course and its sad cuz they wont get to experience stokes farm which is quite a great fun place to enjoy and experience. ..The only downside is not everyone can afford the admission fee ... for a family of 5 its $60.00 ..just to get in .. and that doesnt include getting ur pumpkin s either ... I just wish they would lower the price of admission so everyone could enjoy it cuz its a wonderful place and great fun for all ...
Stokoe Farms is a family tradition! Not just my parents, brother and I but my cousins and their family go too! They have so many different animals, from goats and sheep to camels and a Patagonian Mara! Delicious cookies and hot chocolate to warm up with in one of the barns, or you can warm up by the fire outside. You can take a wagon ride into the fields to cut down your own tree, or there are precut trees available as well.
Agro-tourism at its finest. In the fall they host a pumpkin picking patch with all sorts of fun activities for kids. At Christmas Santa stops by, wagons pulled by vintage tractors take you out to cut your own tree, or purchase a pre cut one. Reindeer and other animals, plus a barn full of decorations and hot chocolate.
Met up with Mary Cariola bus my son was on.Before the bus arrived,a woman from Stokoe said She was thinking of where to stick them I told herwhy, they wont be a problem She aparrently wanted to separate them from the rest of the farm visitors,I felt she was discriminatory towards handicapped children.I do not reccomend taking handicapped on a field trip here.

2021-08-21My grandson went with his respite carer and had a ball. Were always trying to find ways to get him physically active and he happily ran around for four hours today! Awesome dino display, much better than past events at other venues!

2021-10-04In August I signed up for the Sunflower Twilight Experience. . After parking I went to the admissions booth I left my ticket at home but assumed they could look me up. The lady gave me a hard time but ended up looking me up. After walking past the admission both I got a little lost. I found where the Christmas trees were, where the apples and pumpkins were growing and some areas that were not meant for guests. I asked where the sunflowers were and a guy pointed way out there about a half a mile away. To get there it was not easy I walked through dirt and had to cross over a fence. I could not see any other way. Point is I wish there was better signage telling people where the sunflowers were so they wont get lost like I did.I got some amazing food at a food truck before heading to the sunflowers. I thought this part was very good!Afterwards I went to the sunflowers and was a little disappointed I was expecting endless sunflowers instead it was a tiny field. I understand the rain slowed everything down but the field reserved for the sunflowers was not that big. What I loved was all the photo opportunities you could get inside this amazing sunflower field.I ended up staying til sunset and was very happy I did! Stoke Farms is a fantastic place for kids and big groups. I saw people having fun playing games and just having a great time. For someone like me who came alone and only came for the sunflowers I was disappointed.(Some I know is mother natures fault)In the future I would hesitate before coming to Stokes Sunflower Experience.

2021-10-10There is so much for the kids to do from a corn maze, to a zip line, to feeding the animals. Definitely plan for a few hours, and sleeping kids on the way home.

2017-08-28Lots of fun - they have many things to do including a huge pumpkin patch, a petting zoo, hayrides, and a corn maze. Very crowded on the weekends. Donuts and cider are very good. Admission price is worth it if you have kids but if you dont, its actually a bit expensive. I think it appeals more to families than to couples but its still a fun time!

2018-10-14Always fun. This has been my 7th year now and have watched Stokoe Farm grow and expand into this awesome seasonal kid and family friendly fall experience. It is a fall destination at its best from pumpkin picking, corn maze, fresh apple cider donuts and many kids activities. They have zip lines, tall slides, 3 wheel bicycle racing. You can ride on tractor trolly to you destination or walk.

2020-08-08I couldnt believe they had a baby kangaroo and a camel! I was worried as just an adult without kids I wouldnt have any fun, but I still did. The sunflowers were gorgeous and I was surprised I got to pick my own.

2020-10-01So much fun! We had a great time last weekend. They have so much to do, and things we havent seen at other local farms. It was great to let the kids run around and get out all their pent up energy. There was a bit of a line to get in, but once in, people seemed respectful and kept a distance or wore a mask, and there was lots of room. only suggestion to others going is to have your tickets printed or screen shot. The lady in front of me didnt have her tickets with her, and it took awhile to get her through.
