The venue did a good job, but the buisness office (Greg Lodato) was really sketchy. We paid in full prior to the event. Expecting over 200 people, 40 people did not show due to covid. When I spoke with Greg to discuss a refund of a portion of the fees paid (over $6000.). He said he would figure out a solution and call me later in the week. He never called so I called him. I have yet to hear from him. BE CAREFUL IF/WHEN YOU DEAL WITH THESE PEOPLE AND DONT PAY IN ADVANCE. . . your left with little recourse, counting on their sense of fair play, and they dont have that. Once they have your money, they are done with you.
I must confess that I tend to dislike weddings- it could be because they all seem so similar even the music does not feel original. So what changed my mind about weddings? I would have to say that everything about Stonebridge exceeded my expectations. The staff was extremely helpful and very pleasant. Maybe they could have used another person or station during the cocktail hour. But the food was outstanding, the music was very enjoyable, the desserts were well I didnt have much room for dessert. However I did squeeze in a bite of cake, a little ice cream and a few other treats. Check these guys out there really pretty good!
I cannot begin to say enough good things about Stonebridge! Gregg & Terrence were absolutely incredible-very responsive and helpful! I wasnt worried about anything, everything was taken care of. The staff here is incredible, all my guests raved about how kind, happy and helpful they were. My bridal attendant Stephanie was so sweet and there whenever we needed her. I wouldnt have had such an amazing day if it werent for everyone here! Even through postponement this venue was incredible. I was hearing horror stories from other brides and I have to say Stonebridge came through for us! The bridal suites, the ballroom, everything was perfect! This bride HIGHLY recommends this venue-my guests do too!THANK YOU ALL SO MUCH!

We had our wedding on 1/3/2020 and Stonebridge was the perfect venue for our special day. We booked our wedding on July 25th 2019 and planning the wedding in 6 months was the easiest process with them. Ariana was available 24/7 for us and always making sure our needs were met. As the day got closer and the anxiety kicked in she made sure to help us have everything ready before Christmas. The day of the wedding Allison our bridal attendant was there since 9:30am making sure we were fed and hydrated all morning in their beautiful bridal suite (ITS A MOST GET!!) she made sure i had everything i needed before leaving for church and that my dress was always properly staged for pictures.. Terrence and Allison are the dream team! during cocktail hour and all the reception they made sure my husband and I ate and drank and enjoyed the night without any worries.. Terrence even tie my shoes!! and he help my dad surprise us with a Mariachi Band!!All our guest continue on talking about the food and the pass around desserts. the Smores TO GO were a hit and the service was excellent.it was the perfect venue and service for the perfect day!Thanks for everything guys...!!Tom and Cristina Atanasio
Im really not sure how this review can fully describe just how happy my wife and I were that we got married at Stonebridge. We originally were going to get married in October of 2020. When the pandemic caused us to push it back, it was not even an ounce of hassle to move it. Working with Gregg through the entire process was seamless. He is extremely professional and only wants whats best for you and your significant other. He responded to all of our questions in a timely manner and made switching a wedding date easier than we ever hoped for. The rest of the staff headlined by Terrance were all tremendous. Terrance brings a fun, positive, upbeat energy that every wedding should have. He was a pleasure to be around the day of the wedding and his years of experience are clearly demonstrated when hes in action. The food and drink top to bottom was outstanding. We didnt have any guests who were dissatisfied or left hungry. We should also note that in choosing the vendor bundle, we got to work with more outstanding people from Park Ave Studio Photography, Absolute Entertainment, and Jack and Rose Florist. I hope I go to 10 more weddings at Stonebridge. My wife and I were truly grateful for how they treated us, our families, and our friends, making our wedding day nothing short of spectacular.
Beautiful room for the wedding, with gorgeous view of beautiful golf course.
Overall a good course but they have to do a better job managing the speed of play. A well paced round turned into 6hr because of poor course management. So called members just pull in front of you destroying the teebox and greens hitting 6-8 tee shots. No starter out either. Disappointed.

Stonebridge was the perfect place for our dream wedding. We have to reschedule due to COVID, and Gregg and Terrence have been with us every step of the way. Everything we wanted, they made it happen no problem. During the wedding, Alexandra was the bridal attendant and she was awesome. Very attentive, used our notes to a tee, and even sewed up my stuff wife’s wedding dress so she could dance during the reception. The food was amazing-everyone was raving about cocktail hour and the dessert! The venue is just beautiful-very pretty cocktail room and gorgeous ball room! From start to finish, everyone said it was the best wedding they had been to! Thanks again Stonebridge!

I was here for a fundraiser in the lounge. The bartenders were friendly and attentive. They made sure that we were comfortable and enjoyed ourselves. The country club is beautiful and well decorated for the season. Everything is clean and sets a great atmosphere. I enjoy coming here and look forward to attending events here.
Awesome golf course. Tough holes but manageable. Great course to come play if your a novice to experienced golfer. Course is well maintained and the beaches are always raked thanks to the maintenance crew. Unfortunately I spent a lot of time there so I was thankful. Would reccomend to all. It was $48 with a cart for the round.

Had my daughter’s wedding at Stonebridge 2 months ago. This is a long overdue review. I don’t usually write reviews but our family is so happy with how everything turned out that I want to publically thank Gregg and Terrance and the staff of Stonebridge! The wedding was spectacular! Believe me it was spectacular. I’ve read some other reviews here where only 1 star was given and I can’t imagine that we are talking about the same place. If you are looking for a wedding venue, I highly recommend this one! The food was delicious and plentiful, the grounds beautiful, the staff top notch. And oh, look at the bridal suites!We arrived there at 7am and had a wonderful time getting ready. The bridal attendant was waiting for us. While we were getting ready lunch was brought up and the refrigerator was stocked with drinks and champagne. We left for the ceremony in church and returned for pictures after. Everything went smoothly. Wish we could do it all again. Thank you! A five star experience!
When my golfing friends come to town I always send them to Stonebridge! Impeccably maintained, a tight course that offers a challenge but still friendly to the novice. It’s a very beautiful experience and certain that whoever designed this course knew what they were doing. Kudos to Maintenance, thank you.
Had our wedding there this past weekend. Everything was beyond amazing! The reception room is spectacular with the floor to ceiling windows, especially once the sun started to set. Our guests were and are still complimenting us on how gorgeous the room was. We are also still getting rave reviews on the food. Our maitred Terrence was a machine and we couldnt have gotten through the night without him. If you are considering Stonebridge for your wedding DEFINITELY go check it out!
Very beautiful, my sister booked her wedding here for May 11. Came in today for a tasting. Food was delicious they are very kind and Greg is the best he handles everything for your event with ease and grace makes u feel very comfortable

We attended a wedding last night(1/118/2020).Everything was wonderful!The valet parkers were polite and efficient, the coat check person greeted us in the lobby!The cocktail hour food was varied and delicious.The bartenders were friendly and fast.The meal I ordered was filet mignon. It was cooked to perfection!The wait staff was polite, quick attentive and not obtrusive.The room was large, the tables were set beautifully and we did not feel crowded.All in all, I’d say your venue did themselves and the newlyweds proud. I highly recommend you to anyone who is listening!
Very nice course for the average golfer. More advanced golfers wont feel challenged except for the 2nd, 9th and 18th holes.
Amazing, seamless, consistently above expectations. I’ve been to so many events here from retirement parties, holiday parties, charity events with famous authors, even Girl Scout annual dinner dances. Time and again — the events are run so smoothly - food is great — staff are attentive to details I can’t even think of — wait staff are accommodating, respectful, professional. Terrance is amazing. I simply can’t figure out how it just always is so impressive looking, but also how things are just consistently run so smoothly and for events with *so many* people!! Time and again I recommend Stonebridge, and continue to do so.
Stunning. Bit bias because I was lucky enough to attend a beautiful wedding but nothing negative can be said. The grounds are very well kept, the staff was extremely attentive and friendly and the food was DELICIOUS.** Highlights (although you cant go wrong with anything) -- lobster Mac and cheese, cornbread, pulled pork.
My foursome did not have a good experience today. Staff was down right rude to guests. Everyone that was not a member that played after the rain was told “no carts, no exceptions” by the starter due to wet conditions. We were told the same only to be followed by 3 foursomes behind us all riding in carts.I get it, we are not paying membership dues. A simple “we are reserving carts for the members today” would have sufficed. But then say that. I could understand that, you get what you pay for. Instead we were straight up lied to while the members got a 😉 from the starter after we were told no carts were allowed on the course due to conditions. Slap in the face.My cousin had a knee replacement years ago and had asked for a cart after seeing members with similar tee times getting into carts in the parking lot. They refused him a cart, stating the above. He asked again at the turn as he was in pain, was refused again, and had to leave with our 4th that he drove with after 9 holes. The whole while being played up on by members in carts. Paid for 18, No partial refund or rain check was issued.Then on top of that, they sent the late afternoon 9-hole tee times off the back 9. We caught up them at the turn and the Back 9 played an hour slower than the front.Combine all this with the course being in terrible shape. Fairways with brown dirt patches, tee boxes torn up, greens carpet slow...I am lucky that I played well but I have a feeling I will not be back any time soon. POOR MANAGEMENT AND STAFF, POOR CONDITIONS, POOR SERVICE.
It is a nice venue for weddings, birthdays and all type of celebrations. Can easy fit 200+ people. The property is very clean and decorative. The venue is attached to the Stonebridge condominiums which is gated with security. A little tight for coach buses but manageable. Just an ordinary venue, saw a lot nicer.
The course has a fair amount of short holes making it more playable for the average golfer but the challenge is the greens they have many different levels which makes it fun to play. I have heard since the COVID rules are in place they have the cups raised which is a bad idea it takes away the hole putting fun part of this course. They should change them some courses have just flipped the cups over simple and still close to real golf.
I went for a company holiday party and I regret going. The food was mediocre at best and at worst what I can only describe as dog food the appetizers where generally dry and under flavored and the main course were room temperature and sickly. they best thing i had was the ice cream and I guess the raw vegetables but even then that not high praise. the waiters also took my drink when it was still half full and napkins whileI was trying to look for something palatable to eat. I wouldnt recommend going to a buffet style banquet here unless you are only looking to dance and drink alcohol until you are drunk.
My husband and I had our wedding at Stonebridge Country Club on 11/16/19. They exceeding our expectations in every way possible. Greg, Terrance and the entire staff truly go above and beyond to make sure each detail is perfect and your day goes exactly how you’ve always imagined it would. Words truly cannot express how pleased we are to have had our wedding here. There isn’t one negative comment we could say. Our families haven’t stopped talking about how spectacular the day was and we come from picky families, so it says a lot. We would choose Stonebridge every time. We love it!!

We had two events here in the last handful of years and felt compelled to write a review to help others who may be looking for a venue.The staff from servers to captains are all motivated and friendly. We worked on our last event with Virginia (front office) and Terrance (he brings your vision to reality and is the go-to the day of). These two are a perfect team and make sure every detail is taken care.The grounds are gorgeous and this is certainly a venue we will be back to. Thanks for making our event most memorable! A++

Recently had my nieces wedding here. It was fabulous the food the service.She purchased a Package I think she called it which made it easy for planning. Terrance was helpful.The Dj Absolute was great; The flowers by JackRose was superb and service great; The photo by Park side was good too, he was a pleasure.All n all they made it easy for a fabulous wedding experience.What a team what a wedding.Thank you I will forever be beholdent for my nieces wedding memories thanks to all of you vendors.
Attended a wedding. It was just beautiful! The rooms overlook the golf course. The ceremony was just off the landscaped patio. The staff was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious!
Out wedding was August 18, 2019.. my overall experience was good.. the food was good from what I actaully got to eat.. the amount of food that they brought to the bridal suite was very minimal. Literally like 2 shrimp, 1 oyster, etc.. For thr price you pay we should have been brought more food for us the Bride and Groom..The venders that are provided could be better.Absolute DJ- were ok, we filled out all the online music choices and we still didnt get what we asked for.. we had to remind the DJ 2 times to play certain songs that were in our MUST PLAY lists..Florist Elegants By Joy- Joy went above and. Beyond for us.. flowers were more than I expected. They were beautiful..Cake- Campbells Bakery ( pick some place different) was not the design were picked and PAID EXTRA FORPHOTOGRAPHER- PARK AVE STUDIO.. AMAZING!!! Brian is the best so easy to bbn work with, showed up ontime, making the albums was a very easy proces .

The customer service here is absolutely terrible. I would have loved to have my wedding here, but after 3 weeks of calling to get an appointment and being told the manager Gregg would call me back - I got nothing. Eventually after calling numerous times, a receptionist told me a date and time that Gregg was free and that hed tell him of the appointment. Gregg still didnt know we were coming!!! He took us through the venue quickly and haphazardly went through the menu and prices. It all took about 15 minutes - which anyone who is looking at venues knows that never happens.If the customer service was better, we would have definitely booked the Stonebridge. Too bad they lost our business.

I agree with other reviewers that Stonebridge needs to kick up their service and food was mediocre, so the 1 star. I was the step mother n law. The place is pretty though. Gregg was nice to our family, he made sure everything was done. For him I would give 4-5 stars The DJ was good, nice guy. We used our own photo company. Turned out ok.But the flowers fro Tower were aweful. Found them rude and ordinary surprised they were recomend. Grounds are pretty. Saw a turtle.

April 2018 Wedding- Stonebridge (SCC) was one of the 1st venues I saved in my extensive online search, stayed in my top 3 out of the 10 venues we visited across Long Island, and made the cut as our top choice for many reasons #1) they made us feel special & wanted our patronage (some venues made it feel like a transaction or didnt care if we said yes or no- you do not want to work with someone who will roll their eyes or feel bothered by your questions) #2) they host only 1 wedding at a time for the ENTIRE day aka no running into other brides and ALL focus is on our party (other venues felt like wedding factories with multiple events happening in other floors or rooms) #3) Bridal Suite included 2 HUGE MULTI-BEDROOM spaces?! this included bar area, full kitchen/fridge/sink, 3 beds, dining area, couches, and WINDOWS galore - it was perfect space for our 20 person bridal party & to host our special Chinese tea ceremony that involved 30 guests!! #4) SO understanding & flexible with so many of our questions & random requests. SCC was honestly out of our budget, but they worked with us to ensure that we were happy & knew the worth we were signing up for #WorthIt #5) food/drinks- we were nervous at first that we dont get to taste the food before signing contract but they do have regular bridal showcase each season with food, drinks & vendors! During our tasting we had a glimpse of the presentation & really helped us choose. During the day of the wedding the favorites were: Skirt steak! seared tuna/saki bar! chicken and waffles! & brisket! Plus all our guests were so happy of how much the bartenders took care of their drinks (s/o to Mikael who worked the bar on his bday lol) they saw me at the bar wanting to offer the chocolate liquor cups so he took initiative to prepare a bunch and bring them to our table for more guests to enjoy!! We had 280 guests so it was a bit crowded during cocktail (i missed our talented harpist we had bc it was so crowded/loud so be sure to position them at the entrance foyer vs the main room if u have one) maybe have signs or servers direct more people outside or the other areas will help #6) Gregg (main contact), Terrence (maitre D), & Danielle (bridal attendant) WOW- What an incredible team!! Terrence & Danielle found my missing gold bracelet under one of the chairs! Truly blessed to have them-especially Danielle on the day of who helped calm me down, grabbed people I was looking for, served mimosas, printed last minute docs, fixed my huge bustle, served us dishes of the cocktail food, packed up all our materials and supplies at end of the night, & made sure my vision for the centerpieces & photos etc were perfect (only major thing I got upset about was the photo guestbook not being given or shown to the photo booth people- so I lost out on those messages so be sure to delegate who is in charge of it #7) They helped setup basically everything- The centerpieces/candles, photo frames, bathroom baskets, signs, cake, table runners, flowers behind the sweetheart table, favors on every table. They made EVERYTHING stress-free. I told Gregg that I am instantly relieved whenever I received a response email from him because they did all they could to make our wedding day the PERFECT day. We truly appreciate the details and follow up- everything was so wonderful. I wanted cotton candy- done. Signature drinks- done. Chocolate liquor cups- done. Start by 7am- done. so thankful
Short but difficult and enjoyable course.
Nice course, a little tight around some of the houses. Other than that conditions and pace of play are usually pretty good. I guess the people who cant find any ball washers dont realize they are on each cart. and a club washer.
Wonderful setting, nice ambiance but the food is mediocre
One star for the waitress and bartenders, zero star for everything else. It was my friends wedding, everything was good BUT was ruined by a woman valet parking staff! She forced us to gave her 5 dollar Valet Parking Fee which was not imposed on my friends. That was not suppose to have happened in a club like that! So DISAPPOINTED! If you read this review and sympathize with me, please repost and give one star.
I love this course its got tough greens and its usually in great shape.. the only reason I cant rate it higher is because even if the place is empty u cant go out before 11 if youre not a member. I guess theyre memberships pay for all the tee times no one fills.

Kudos to Stonebridge Country Club in Happuage NY... My son Michael Miro and Ashley Wojciks wedding could not have been more perfect. The venue was gorgeous, the staff, kind and caring and the food was five star. Their guess were treated with the utmost care and attention. The bridal staff gave 110% all day into the evening.Thank you Stonebridge Country Club for making a beautiful day the perfect memory for all.

Went to a wedding here. Got to the location and we were held like cattle in the ante chamber because they were “delayed”. Then got food poisoning from the cocktail hour. Steer clear of this place.
I approached this florist last night at a bridal show.I tried to ask questions as they were recommened by stonebridge.I really didnt connect. and I was considering this venue but now not sureI went home to check my resources and got this as an answer. So now Im worried. On line a bride had said,I have used dalsimer/Spitz and Peck and they did not deliver on what they promised, or what I payed for! and they wanted over $7,000 dollarsI DEFINITELY DO NOT recommend using them!!!There were other companies there, but i think they push these guys.Im not happy!
Beautiful place with nice staff, was going to do our wedding here but it was out of our budget, if you can afford it it seems like a great place to host a wedding or party.

Stonebridge is very well maintained and the course is fun to play. Not too challenging allows for mediocre players (like myself) to be pretty aggressive. Prices are reasonable, overall a very good course.
Way too tough and narrow of a course for the hackers I played with and watched today. Bad golfers and challenging layout equal brutally slow play. Add on a lack of yardage indicators and no marshall and you get the picture. Watched two 25+ handicappers play from the blues (slope 135) and their kids on the whites hit it about 50-100 yards at a time, when they actually made contact. Ready golf? No one here has a clue what that means or any concept of speeding things up. Take a lesson people, get a clue!!!!
The food could best be described as embarrassing, I love being asked if filet mignon should be medium or well done, asking for it as rare as possible with those parameters and getting some shoe leather on a plate. Beer and wine selection is best not discussed because, well selection is a very, very generous term.
Not worth the money. I expected the course to be in far better shape; plus NO drinking water; no ball washers... very disappointing for $60.00 a golfer!

Stonebridge is a beautiful golf course community. The course to challenging, the homes are beautifully set on the property, and to top it off Lessings, the premier caterer on Long Island runs the restaurant.

Played early spring and it was terrible. Hitting onto the green was like hitting into a sand trap. The play was slow, there wasnt a single ball washer on the entire course. Not worth the money they charge.

2022-05-15We got married 3.18.22 and could not have picked a more amazing venue. From the start, Gregg was such a pleasure to work with and we had heard amazing things about Terrence - they both went above and beyond to make our wedding incredible. 2022-04-25Do not book your weddings at this place. Despite their raving reviews, they are not transparent about their wedding-related services, amenities and policies. Management is shady and dodgy, offering only ambiguously frivolous answers without solid options or plan of action regarding uncommon yet complicated circumstances that may surface around wedding day. Terrence attributes these issues to the lack of communication on the bride when the bride has been in consistent communication with Greg leading up to the day of the ceremony. They do not hold themselves accountable for their actual lack of transparency despite being a business in one of the most highly client-focused markets. As a recommendation for future brides, look for a venue who not only puts you and your priorities first but also are also honest about how they deal with wedding nightmares. Do not settle for the pretty words of It has never happened before or Well discuss the options when it comes to that because one complementary pretzel stand does not make up for the inconceivable mental anguish experienced by any bride on her special day.

2022-06-22I had spoken to Terrence and detailed the event that I was planning. When I met with Lisa for a tour, she gave me a quote that was double what Terrence mentioned. Terrence had never mentioned that I would have to buy out the building or rent rooms but Lisa was quick to mention a $50k buyout for a Saturday and $35k buyout for Sunday, which was double the price I was quoted. Im glad I didnt go further with them.

2021-08-30Just had my sons wedding there Saturday 8/28 and all I can say it was outstanding. Top notch server staff, food quality was also very good compared to other wedding venues in NJ and Terrance (coordinator) was spot on on everything...Thanks my man, great job.We had 150 guests, so plenty of parking. DJ ( dont know there names yet) were OUTSTANDING too. All in all, the wife and I along with just about everyone we talked to were blown away how professionally run and organized this place is. KUDOS Stonebridge...you got my vote.
