As a current resident at 10 Downing Street in the West Village, I highly caution any future residents to avoid leasing here. The VP of leasing Brett Solomon is rude and arrogant, and told me he would no longer be responding to my emails. Very dismissive. Within one year they substantially raised my rent to account for not only Covid losses, but also after speaking to residents they are notorious for doing this constantly to any new residents who are not rent controlled. Renters beware, I was in tears at the way I was treated. I’ve never had someone speak to me so viciously because I was trying to find a solution for where to work as they demolish the apartment below me and construction sounds are truly invasive while I work from home. I am shocked at how terrible management is and how no one from the company stepped in to right the wrong.

Awful management. Theyve been ignoring my calls and emails regarding referral promotion thats overdue 5 months(still havent paid me yet). They say theyll get back to me and I had to follow up myself a little over a month. And they kept pushing the responsibility to someone else and wanted me to contact a different person each time. I wouldnt have been this upset if they just followed up when it didnt work out on time. Moreover, Ive been living with loud construction noise for half my lease here, while I had to work from home. We wouldve reconsidered signing with this place if we were notified anytime before or during the signing but they decided to leave out the fact that major construction will take up half of our lease. I have emailed them about this and they argue they have let us know even though there are no written proof (because weve never communicated over the phone or in person so its all been done through email). The people working here (maintenance and doorman) are wonderful hardworking people, very jarring from the management. Its given me more headache than I expected, so if anyone is looking for a place, think twice before you sign with stonehenge.

I would never rent from any building owned or managed by Stonehenge again. Poor management. And the building at 101 W 15th Street had a huge rodent problem when I was there in beginning of 2021. There are mice in the walls and they would chew through the walls and enter my apartment.I started getting mice in my place in January 2021. I told management but it was never fixed. Well, it ended with me having to flee my apartment and get a hotel room in mid February because there were 8 mice running all over my apartment. They were on my counter, in my vitamix, on my utensils, on top of my microwave. They had eaten through my dogs dog food bag, food on the counter. And I kept a very clean apartment. There was mouse poop all over my dogs toys, in my closets, on my books, on my chairs, in my shoes and even on my clothes. That night when there were so many mice, I came to the front concierge crying. I had to get a hotel for the night and told management Im done. Im moving out. It had been over a month and situation kept getting worse. Not only did management not reimburse me for my hotel, they said I could not get out of my lease. They treated me horribly. Did not say sorry I left crying and had to deal with this situation. The apartment was uninhabitable and they didnt care. I was probably eating off the counter after mice had been on there. They only care about money and not about their tenants. The super and the front desk staff are wonderful, but not management. And by the way, they found around 6 or 7 dead mice besides the 8 I saw running around. Here are some pictures. I wish I could upload videos of the mice running around.

What a horrible, horrible experience. Everything about this company is awful. I would advise you not to BUY or RENT an apartment from this company in NYC. It is impossible to get in contact with them unless they need something from you! They are terrible... liars and completely unethical.Specifically, JOHN CAJAJ (property manager) is a coward. He is as bad as they come.STAY CLEAR OF STONEHEDGE, stay clear of a huge headache!
