Heads Up! This store allows its unvaccinated employees to immediately return to work after travel. No quarantine. Really scary. Now we know why covid is spreading so much, no one wants to follow the necessary CDC guidelines. As usual, making a buck is more important than saving lives. So sad, so shameful. I definitely will never shop in that store. Management should be ashamed.
Went there to find a specific yogurt that I was introduced to not long ago by the makers of Greek gods. Its probiotic so I needed something to ease my stomach I tried all the rest and this was the only one I found to be the best. So anyway Ive been getting it from Stop and Shop for the past couple of weeks until all of a sudden they stop having it. Theres two flavors the plain and the Honey vanilla its funny how a whole roll of plain yogurt is filled but when it came to the honey vanilla its always out and no one never replenishes it. I visited several times on occasion and still no yogurt. I had to go all the way to ShopRite to get it from there. This particular Stop & Shop never has enough of a certain food or item or its always out of stock.
Even though they say that were having a supply shortage , you wouldnt know it by shopping there , I was able to find everything I needed and the staff was helpful and knowledgeable about the items that youre looking for I would give it a 5 star rating for cleanliness as well as politeness and stock
As a busy working mom of 2 little ones, I love their grocery pick up feature. I was hesitant at first but tried to place an online order out of necessity and it was great! They picked produce as I would - not too ripe no blemishes. Nothing expired. I have began to pick up regularly from them and dont know what Id do without this option!
Friggin expensive not worth it and shelves where I was shopping empty
I needed a pork roast and decided to try this Supermarket. I found exactly what I was looking for but, the tag on the roast was deceptive. I thought it was on sale, but the sale was only for those who had the card! I guess I will have to apply for one for the next time I visit a Stop & Shop! By the way, the pork roast was the Bomb!
Deli Department is the worst. I place an order for pickup and ask for thin sliced cold cuts I get them thick. I go there to get cold cuts and they again cut them thick. And these are being cut by people that have been there for years. I can see if it was once or twice but this is ever time.
Almost always has what Im shopping for. Im one that understands that the product isnt always what the can get or is available. Covid has made supply not easy to get delivered... be patient.
It’s ok , I much prefer other locations of this chain . I find this store dark and dank inside. The produce is very average.It’s just not a fun desirable place to grocery shop .They do have a large corral of self check out.
Great SHOPRITE. Prices are always low. Great selection of groceries. They have a nice unground coffee selection ( Hawaiian, Hazlenut, Chocalate, etc.) ;and self serve coffee grinder for the beans.
This is a very high-end shopping venue that seems to cater to people with money that are on their way out to fire Island or live south of Montauk highway where the expensive homes are. Not a place to shop if youre on a budget, but if money is no object its a wonderful store.

Its a super store so that made me happy. However they didnt have my Gatorade Zero. So I was upset. Another time I went in to use the ATM & it was out of service.
Cashier was kind and very helpful. They had most everything I went for. Store was very clean.
Couple weeks back I bought Stop & shop owned brand Whole Wheat Flour at Islandia location 5lbs for $2.99 which is unbeatable in price and taste of bread.Past Saturday I visited Bay shore location after finding whole store very nice person. On cashier contacted Customer Service Girl who in end told me we dont carry whole wheat Flour only but instead store carry King Arthurs Whole Wheat Flour 5lbs for $5.99. very disappointed answer I never expected visiting from Store Employee .Main Street location. Waste of trip and time as Customer Service girl was not paying attention on computer stock can tell if anything in stock as shelve is missing Store owned product.

Avacados 1$ each, big ones, and fresh green squash, nno line, fast checkout. Cashier knew the prices and courteously and quickly fixed an error.

Prices are high right now. Shelves are empty and limit of 2 on meat. Im a family of 9. I am so frustrated with the pandemic. Cant wait for this to be over. There is no reason for prices to be so high, fuel cost is very low? Its crazy.
My daughter visited this location for dog food tonight around 8:30pm. She was followed inside the store by a hooded guy and then proceeded to follow her outside to her car. She quickly got into her car and the hooded guy got picked up by a small black sedan and drove off. I told her to never go to this location again. Day time or evening. I’ve had too many encounters in the parking lot from men on bikes asking for money in daylight. I will never shop in your store in daylight or evening hours again. I do not feel safe at all in your parking lot or inside your store. I tried calling this evening to speak with a manager about this but your customer service department doesn’t pick up the phone.
My local Stop and Shop...They are extremely convenient but not in terms of a bargain.But it was extremely clean and bright which makes the shopping somewhat enjoyable.
I took forever to write this review because I kept trying to think of the best way to express my gratitude for one of the employees at this location. I figured I would keep it simple and publicly thank Quinn for his help at the self checkout station on January 5th, 2018. His kindness is certainly worth noting, I really hope he is appreciated by his superiors.
I shopped for years Bay shore location and I was so amazed how horrible the place was nothing on the shelves the meat looked terrible it was afraid to even buy it I even had spoken to courtesy dancing thats what was going on and they just seen people are not doing their work very disappointed I have I know a lot of people that work there that are truly nice people and they always happen I dont know whats going on but its not right a lot of people that really like that place and now it seems like its gone down the dumps.
I was not too happy with Stop and Shop today. While theyre trying to spruce up the store, it feels like they have less products, some of what they do have is damaged or outdated. Furthermore, I had to go to a second Stop and Shop to get the remainder of my groceries, and this is not the first time Ive had to do that. I really wish theyd get their act together! I like shopping there because I save money, but it costs me money if I have to go to two separate stores to complete my grocery shopping. I hope someone from their corporate headquarters sees this review and really takes action.
Went to stop and shop in bayshore to pick up a few things went to the deli got my number and waited the lady finished with the person in front of me and just walked away so I waited some more so I asked are you the only person working she said yes theres my manager so I asked him is she the only person working he said no the other person on break and acted like talking to some in produce was more important I finally got my 3 items the cashier Regina was a very polite and cheerful person she should get a raise even people who are rude to her she very nice
Store is selling food with ants🐜inside (Entenmanns Donuts) fully aware and was told by the female manager this morning that it was NOT their problem nor concern at all - it was Entenmanns exclusively and she would not be checking their, meaning Entenmanns, inventory and she wouldnt be giving a return. I said I wouldnt have gotten in the car at 6am for $4. I was there to warn them. Her response to.that was maybe I was lying and the ants were coming from my dirty home. I again said whose asking for money?! Youre just lazy and dont not care one bit how your store looks (literally most of the time)
NEVER any single servings of fresh fish.used to be occasionaly, along with some other things like half rotisserie chickens.average fish serving is 4-6 ounces, everthing at Stop and Shop is sbout a pound. Best Market and King Kullen puts your seafood dept to shame, not every customer is the standard family of four.
Went into the store to order a bereavement tray for some family friends. I was told that they needed a 48 hr advanced notice to make a tray. I explained that it was for the family of the deceased. Sorry we cant help you.I talked to the manager who had the same lackadaisical attitude. I have worked at places where we would have made it happen.I did go next door to Bagel Boss. The store was closing early, and people were leaving, but they took the time to take my order. They promised to have it ready for pick up at noon.From now on I will buy my deli meats at Bagel Boss.
Thats my store for fresh and super real organic food. They ar not fake. They ar real. When they say Organic, u bet its Organic. And fair prices too.
I wanted to say how pleased I was on how sufficient Marvin in bakery is. He was very sweet ans patient with me on all the questions I had about placing a cake order. And no less the short notice I gave for this cake to be made. Im so happy they were able to make my sons cake on such notice and how dofficult I was on finding a cake decoration with kit. Marvin was so nice he took out all the kits and bared with me on what I needed. This is a very good employee.

This Stop and Shop is located in a plaza. The parking availability is normal. This location usually has a better quantity of meats and poultry than surrounding supermarkets. While it offers common items you will find that it also offers some unique and newer products on the shelves. Cool fact, there was a Starbucks within this location in the past.
Needs major repairs in men’s room. Always leaking from the urinals, very unsanitary and unsafe to walk in there. Soaps nonexistent, good thing there’s no door to push. Prices are decent for most things. But for stuff like Boar’s Head prices is a damn joke, go to Best Market. (Replying to their response, if you strive provide the best then corporate needs to go down there ITSELF and take a look. Check Yelp and other sites too before you go down there. Dont be lazy, send a rep unannounced).
BEST COOKIES EVER! Their baked goods are amazingggggggg, muffins, cakes, banana bread etc. Perfection really.
The way these chuckle heads run the bottle & can return is a disgrace. So disgusting. Half of the produce that I got from here was moldy when cut open, I have no idea who is in charge of checking the produce but whoever it is is not doing their job. All gross, moldy, and dirty.
This location has gone down hill. Dairy department was always stocked and the dates were good. Since I noticed Jose was moved to frozen the dairy department had gone down hill. I live in Bay Shore and now I have to go to the. East Islip location because of whom ever is in dairy now at the bay shore location is just putting things where ever and the dates on items are either expired or a few days good. Very disappointed. Every time you like service it gets switched on you with not good service .

Do all my food shopping there, they usually have what is on sale. It is clean part of the reason I go there.
The store inconsistently has the same brand of a product. Its there one week, and the next, its not. The self check out is too tight and crowded at each individual station. The section needs to be a larger area.
I shop at this Stop and Shop because I can walk to it. If the weather is bad I shop elsewhere. Navigating the parking lot is tough enough, but when its busy you also have to deal with the people who park right in front of the shops. Otherwise the store is bright and clean, and theyre not giving anything away, but with certain items theyve got a great sale price

Girl taking care of the express lanes must have bin high. The receipt never came out of the printer. I called to her attention explained what happened and she hit reprint and walked away. The receipt still did not come out so I called her attention once more. She slowly walked over to my register looked at the printer pressed print and walked away again like a zombie. She had no facial expression and not even a single word was uttered by her. I have never seen such a callous disregard for customer service. This will most certainly be my first and last time shopping at this location I am completely disgusted with the nonchalant attitude that the employee carries herself with.
My local stop n shop. I like Stop & Shop in particular because they tend to have everything I need, and they have pretty good prices. This store in particular is an easy location for me to get to and its within a strip mall that has some other good stores, and the parking is good.
I shop here for grocery varieties I cant purchase somewhere else. The store is reasonably clean, if but a little dingy at the front end.The frequency of my visits is due to the inexplicable higher prices for some items. So, I basically shop there for sales and the variety.
Looks like Stop&Shop is cleaning up and reorganizing its stores. This is the second store that Ive shopped at that has been redone and is well stocked. I may decide to return to this grocery chain for my shopping needs.

This is the worst Stop & Shop I have ever been to!!! It is really close to me but I would rather drive a ways away to go to one that is more satisfactory (or the King Kullen that is across the street)! These are my complaints: the bakery section is never stocked until 9:30 a.m. on a daily basis (they obviously dont care that there competition, the boutique bakeries down the road, have theirs out at 7 a.m at the latest), most of their employees sit around ignoring customers talking (usually complaining about working there, when, in this recession, leave....theres plenty of people to fill those jobs) or on their phones or listening to music, far too often the self check outs are closed or have no cash in them and its just overall unkept (smelly and dirty). I want very much to like my neighborhood Stop & Shop but have a bad experience consistently every time I go there

This is the second best Stop n shop, deer park is the best. King Kullen is the worst. My wife and I go here for our healthy foods that are too expensive at Wild By Nature. Deer Park is more organized in the healthy department for our dairy, gluten, gmo, and tofu free foods. Cant get any healthier

This is pretty good stop and shop with well stocked shelves and good variety of products for many preferences. The produce is fresh and abundant as well as the bakery, meat and deli department offerings

Produce area had spoiled vegetables, smelled. The check out register in the fast food check out was causing problems with scanning the products.

Suffolk County Ny, New plastic store Bag law sucks...! In my view youre double charging the customers since the cost of bags have already been added into the cost of shopping. Its wrong of the stores to just go along with this law.

2022-05-17This store is very clean, well stocked and organized. They have a lot of products that other supermarkets dont carry. Their prices are somewhat higher on certain items but overall competitive. The only negative I have to give is for the deli department. Twice I went in to order some cold cuts and noticed at least three people working in the deli but only one person slicing despite a growing line. One young man was cleaning the glass on one occasion right in front of me. I politely asked if anyone else was going to assist customers and was told the person who was on the slicer was almost done. When I was younger and worked retail and at Shoprite in the deli department we were trained to make the customer the priority. If we were doing something such as , cleaning glass and saw a line we would retreat to the slicer and assist the next customer and get the line down. Afterwards we would return to the task we were involved in.

2022-07-04Nice clean store. Most everyone is nice except the lady that works in the flowers shop..what a real charmer she is ! But i will not let her spoil my experience. Also there is a pharmacy inside.

2021-12-21This store is nice because it usually has everything that I am looking for, even most of the specialty items. The workers are very nice. The management need alot more training in employee/customer respect. I witnessed one of the supervisors being rude to the cashier in front of me and other customers.

2021-07-18I had a bit of a problem at the self check out register my digital coupon wasnt going through. The employee working that area was no help at all, she said it takes 2 or 3 hrs for the coupon to work, I never heard of such a response. Usually the digital coupons work right away as soon as you down load them. People download them right in the store all the time.. What was I suppose to do stand there for 2 or 3 hrs. I asked for a supervisor she never got one. I left my older children at the register went to customer service to ask for a supervisor. He came Steve, told me to ring it up that way with the wrong price and customer service will fix it. I simply said are you sure because I dont want it to be any problems. I was thinking to myself he would just go over to the register and manually put in the discount , honestly the employee should have been able to do that. His response was very sarcastically shrugging his shoulders and everything I just told you that he was very rude. People dont know what other people are going through treat people how you want to be treated. I really didnt need that rudeness from him or the incompetence of the employee. I just lost my mother. Some training needs to happen with some of the employees and management. The customer service person Linda I believe was very nice.

2021-08-10I used to frequent shop rite in my local area because I felt it was more financially practical for me and my family. However, I prefer S&S due to the quality of the produce. Granted its a little more pricey but its the quality over quantity. Overall, I prefer S&S.

2021-08-02I have tried buying fruit from this stop and shop at least six times in the last several months on Sundays and they are all consistently growing mold in the store. Not one box of organic raspberries without mold beginning to grow. First time I went to customer service after purchasing because I didn’t realize until I got home and they told me to pick a new one. I let them know that there were none without mold. Tonight I went in again and with no surprise it was all growing mold again. I went to let customer service know that they should check their deliveries or their refrigeration temperature but there was no one at the customer service desk.
