Clean! Very nice inside. They have scan your phone section along the wall where you enter for self checkout if you scanned all your groceries by phone app/their scanner. Also they have the robot. No real hot food choices though sadly if you dont have chicken.
They have everything I need or want and everything is fresh. As long as you dont use their online pickup order service from at least the Deer Park Store.We order roughly every 2-3 and the last 4 times we have had to call to complain that we are missing items we paid for. First it was ice cream missing, then it was bread, last time roast beef from deli, now it was english muffins and coffee.Walking around shopping isnt easy since my stroke, and husband works as much overtime as possible plus takes care of the house. Figured this could help him out. By online shopping..Spoke to Assistant Manager who advised she will have someone look into this, will take 24-48 hours for feedback.Just easier to try somewhere else.May 29th 2022Went shopping last night doe weekend and egular shopping items.It was a pleasure to shop with hardly anyone there.The selves were stocked with everything we needed for a change.
This review is for their bakery department. I ordered a cake from them a year ago- and it was actually surprisingly delicious. However, their customer service is horrible. I wish i would have left a review then to detail further my experience. But I just remember the bakery manager “helped” me and she acted like I was burdening her by ordering a cake- she had an attitude from the second I walked up to the counter and I almost left and didn’t order the cake because I was so annoyed. Well today I decided to go back and order the cake again for a birthday party. Unfortunately I was unable to as I need the cake for tomorrow and they need 48 hours notice- which is totally understandable. But again their customer service is awful. The girl standing behind the counter is flirting with a guy and more interested in talking to him than answering my questions about a cake. I was trying to inquire about some of the ready made cakes they have but could barely get a word in as the guy kept jumping in to flirt with her. Very unprofessional. Love the cakes absolutely hate the service.
Clean. Good products. Except for when its a blizzard the town buys all the good stuff lol. Great customer service. 😉

I am writing concerning the deli department. I have found that the pre-sliced chicken is a hit or miss. The dates are old, the temperature in the deli case is warm and I think the deli manager and staff should be more attentive. Please pay attention to dates and the temperature due to bacterial growth concerns.Sometimes it is fine and fresh but the last three times, it has been sour. I love the store and normally do not complain but this is an issue.Please address this because it has cost me $32.00 in waste. I will not buy anything from that cold case anymore.Thank you. It was a convenience, but...no more.
I’m only giving this a one star for their delivery and pick up. The store is great, but I honestly feel the in store shoppers don’t care about the items they pick up for you. I bought a box of brownie mix that was taped shut (I don’t even know how that made it back on the shelf). My bread was completely smooshed, and a can of frosting was opened (the foil under the lid was opened). I just wish they took more care in picking out your groceries
Rude people, the juice bar had 3 people in it and they had no sign saying they were closed and refused to explain they werent open.
Stop n Shop is not a bad supermarket for what you need. Not as pricey as the other major supermarket in the area and at times they have very good deals. My wife likes this supermarket so I go there. Happy wife, happy life. She loves those rainbow chocolate cookies. Me Im a bread lover and the bakery is my favorite. Nothing like a bacon and egg sandwich on a nice soft kaiser roll. Meats are priced fairly and good quality. Ill continue shopping there for my groceries.
Love this super market but if you looking for Strawberries it is never in stock.. like order more or cap who ever is buying them all. Side note Target got good StrawberriesOther than that this place has everything you looking. Pro tip the deli kiosk is a lie, always have end up going there and telling them I ordered something ..better off going in person.**Update July 12 2021**The strawberry panic seems to be over, I’ve been checking every week for a view months and they have plenty. Seems like the powers that be have listened to me.Thank you!Side note the deli situation seems to be the same even if you order ahead (like hours). They never seem to get the order or see it on the “system”
Clean, loads of variety in gluten free section, lots of organic foods, organized, polite staff, easy self check out services.

Selection and customer service was fine. Prices are higher than I am used to for the quantity and quality of the items that you get—I feel that way about most Stop &Shop locations, though so if you like S&S generally it will probably be fine for you.
Friendly workers, okay prices, I mean hey its N.Y. come here 4-5 times a week. Always finding a deal.
6am you dont wait for Target to open. You come here. 10:30pm, you dont overpay at the convenience store, you come here. The store is always clean and has fresh fruit most of the time.

Stop n shop by tanger outlet in deer park was amazing. Everything I need was there I cant believe it. You have no idea how excited I was about that .with the pandemic rising and being able to find what you need ..oh my gosh..thank you to the stock workers at the deer park stop n shop . I spent in a few transactions over 4 hundred dollars because I needed to get for two twins and some groceries as well thank you so super much. I hope the great work keeps on going because once I usually do this it goes bad in the service. I pray to God it dont..
Parking was easy. WiFi working properly in store with Scan It app. They have not corrected the product availability issue. Came in for 2 items and left with one. In and out in under 10 minutes.Thus is an addendum to the above message in response to the owners.Your reply does not address the issue. I would agree with what you state had I not gone to 6 other Stop and Shops and found said item in the store I have talked to Dennis the store manager as well as the frozen managers assistants. I showed them what I believe is the issue. They have 2 to 3 times the inventory they should have of the other skus of the brand. I think there is some kind of internal ordering error. This has gone on for 3 months with no change. Call Dennis your store manager He has my number if you want to learn more.
This grocery store has improved substantially over the past few months following their remodel and phase 4 reopening in the NYS Covid response.In my last visit to this store, we saw it was really clean including in the bottle of the dairy case and meat displays. There was no odor at all from the seafood counter and I was actually surprised to see I was standing next to it. The produce was all fresh and the shelves were well stocked.Best of all, the cashier we had was well trained and friendly, operating her queue and till effectively.
Ive only recently started visiting this location and usually choose this or the Shoprite on Deer Park. Generally customer service is nice, but I came in the other day to buy groceries and a gift card and the manager that was there during the night shift was rude and gave me an attitude. It felt like she was doing me a favor by allowing me to shop at Stop & Shop.
I ordered cupcakes from the bakery and they were ready when I needed and were tasty. Staff could have been more outgoing but not a factor for using them.
Clean, clean, clean & very updated. Everything is easily accessible with having wide aisles, its spaced very well. Checkout is quick plus they offer the option of scanners for convenient shopping. Other than the creepy robotic scanning machine that goes from isle to isle, Id still recommend checking this store out. I wasnt able to get everything that I was looking for but overall very nice store & very helpful employees.
Had plenty of scooters, store is clean, food is where its suppose to be... Fresh produce and meats. Had plenty of people working there to help.

Its a top tier supermarket for the area. I would only argue the prices of the cooked food. The prices are close to what you might pay at a restaurant & I dont ever see any specials advertised. Once the shine wears off it wont be as special. Great staff. Great management. Always stocked. The staff deserves a raise.
I havent been in this particular Stop n Shop in many months. Unless they are on some renovation it looks terrible. I remember it being fully stocked and impeccably clean.There were some isles that looked like a cheap convenience store with temporary shelves. I noticed a lot more self checkoutsas well. Going back to Shoprite.
It was a nice store but now they do not have a lot of stuff they used to. Even simple stuff. They never have kraft American cheese made with whole milk anymore at all. I dont know but its gone down big time lately in all aspects.
Newly renovated, with a sit down cafe seating area with smoothie bar, lattes etc.Hot food selection is outstanding! Choose from real in store smoked brisket, burnt ends, pulled pork, ribs etc. They have a Stir Fry station! Pick all your veggies etc. They add the meat, sauce and cook it right in front of you.Store is clean and well stocked. Fresh seafood on ice and a service meat counter.Great produce selection.
The staff are very friendly. The store was recently updated and looks like new. Most importantly the produce is VERY FRESH! Also the meat is spectacular. As you can see I am very happy with this store.
At first I didnt like to come to stop & shop until I was all the saving they had and how much I saved by coming here. They always have a lot of people working their and have a lot of cash registers open so there is never a huge line. They always have sale on everything and I LOVE to save!! The place is clean as well and I really like that about them. If u want savings this is the place you want to go to.

The best supermarket. They carry Boars Head meats. They have a good fresh produce area. Their fresh baked goods are really good. The store is brightly lit. There is nothing negative about the store. The frozen section has everything you could think of. Many check out lanes. Our first choice for a supermarket.
Good place to shop though customers (no matter where you go )seem to be more nerautic these days, as a result of listening to main stream media.The pandemic though real can be controlled for 99% of us through proper hygiene vitamins, antibiotics goggling with one salt water and so on... There are much more serious flu viruses our there and are being dealt with accordingly.This covid virusGod did not intend for us to live this way...
The deli needs more people working there,otherwise the store is ok,the bookkeepers need to not have a long conversation with the cashier while their ringing you up and if you get annoyed for the hold up the cashier tosses your stuff down the belt. The Deli department needs to train the workers what Sliced Thin means. One kid does it really well,the rest cant. You cant even bend the slices. The Meat department Stinks, again they cant cut meat. The cuts go at an angle,from a1/4 of an in. to paper thin and if you dont cook the meat within a day regardless of the date it goes Bad. Really Bad,the stink could knock you over. The Worst& they are Very Rude!!!! This store has went down terribly in a year.

Mostly good... but my biggest issue is the carts. A supermarket can have the best prices and the best product but when every cart has noisy square wheels and you need to drag it through the store...Ill sometimes go out of my way to go elsewhere. To me ...if you put as much $ into a renovation that they did and have the same rusty noisy wobbling carts from 15 years ago...its a waste.
I love the new look. All dairy is now included just like the frozen foods. Also the meats, produce and other essentials are great. The pet section is the best I dont have to go to PetSmart all the time. Yeah stop and shop!!!!👌🤗
Kevin the manager is an absolute hero to our family on Thanksgiving we had an issue with our turkey. This man went out of his way to get another turkey an bring it to me and my mom who are both disabled. Bless your heart sir were enjoying the turkey as im writing this. You made our holiday thank you thank you
This particular branch does not have good produce--ever. I have been in Stop & Shop stores that have had great fresh produce. Go figure! Their everyday prices on most items are higher than average, but the sale items are competitively priced. They obviously hope to get people in for the sale items and make up the difference when shoppers are too lazy to go elsewhere for their other shopping. You do the math!
I visit every day Stop & Shop and I have no complaints about it
Def the nicest stop and shop Ive ever been to, super clean and nice people working there. After the 1st time I came here, now i try to only go to this particular store wen I go shopping and theres about 4 other stop and shops that are closer, but this store really is so much nicer/ better than the other ones.
Staff was super helpful. Walked us to get everything we needed as we arent familiar with the store. Checkout was pleasant. We will visit again. They have a big section with organic and gluten free items. Well done and thank you!
The new self checkout system is terrible. I have to say, it take me almost 20 minutes to check out my groceries. Every time, I do self checkouts I have to go to the customer service in order to check out.
Very fresh produce but just a little expensive.COMPARE and Shop rite are cheaper options.

Place is getting a refurb right now. But its one of the better Stop n Shop stores around here. Carts are always available, place is clean, has good stock and variety of items. Management here at least seems to care. The one in West Islip is a horrible show. Worth my extra time to travel here for sure though.

Stop and Shop was the first store in our area to encourage the use of recyclable bags. I jumped right on the bandwagon. Then self checkout(which most stores have). They also have self shopping, using a pricing gun. Provide your own bags, click and put in your bag. Get on any line, checks you out in about 5 minutes.Takes a little time but you can keep track of your expenses. Great organic section as well as sprinkled around the store. Been shopping since its been Edwards.
It was good. I like that their fruits and vegetables are fresh. They have great deals on necessary products and also a clean place to shop.
Four stars only because I wish they carried some items that shop rite has. Stop n Shop is closer to my house, so it’s off to shop rite when I need those other items. Otherwise, their new set up is pretty fantastic.
Poorly managed. Never enough cashiers . They expect the majority to check themselves out. Hard to find a good shopping cart.
Slow lines. Fruit selection not the best. Have brought grapes got them home went to wash them out & found spiders in the bag. Have gotten into big arguments with grown staff men because i caught them talking poorly to an elderly women. Almost punched him in his face. A lot of the staff is very lazy & nasty. Only go here because prices are good & by my house & i dont drive so its covenant for me otherwise i would go else were.
Store NEVER has any supplies to clean shopping carts before entering to shop. Too many employees and customers inside without wearing face coverings or they are not wearing face coverings correctly. Stop and Shop does not care about the health and safety of everyone entering the store.

When Im done I return to the deli and my cold cuts are waiting for me.I keep my Stop&Shop card in the Key Ring app. I love the Key Ring app (beats carrying all those loyalty cards) but its difficult to use at the Self Checkout. :-(They have a Peoples Bank branch inside. Awesome... If youre a Peoples Bank customer.Theres a decent selection of healthy options. Organic. Non GMO. Etc.The floral dept is excellent! Ive picked up many arrangements for different occasions.Its a good supermarket. I am happy here. No complaints.
Its been a long time since Ive been able to get everything I need at one Stop and Shop. Even before the COVID-19 pandemic, I was going to multiple stores to complete my grocery shopping. I think they need to focus more on stocking their shelves and less on one-way aisles and dictating which registers people go to.
Five stars for one reason, selection!The staff and service are sub-par, the bathrooms... well use the bathroom before you come here at all costs please because they are disgusting. But the one reason that i give this Stop & Shop five stars is simply because they have the best selection of organic, gluten free,seafood,deli, ethnic, fruit and veggies.They just carry so much of everything, and its usually in stock. Ive travelled to 5 other locations testing them out,and this jusy beats them all out.

I USE THE PHARMACY IN STORE THEY ARE ALWAYS ATTENTIVE TO MY FAMILY AND MY NEEDS. THIS STORE IS USUALLY VERY WELL STOCKED. HOWEVER FOLLOWING ME AROUND WHILE SHOPPING NOT COOL YOUNGER CASHIERS ALWAYS A PLEASURE.
The store is nice and clean. They are many varieties to choose from. Items are organized in groupings. The cashiers are friendly and cashing out is super easy.
Fourth of July went to deli department cause Salpinos was closed! What a joke. Slower than slow! Better training needed!! Too much talking with each other. Couldn’t remember simple orders!

I already posted once however, I felt it necessary to mention that they have again eliminated a brand that I have used since I was a toddler and am now 62. Its getting to the point that I will shop there when I go to their pharmacy, which is a very good pharmacy, and start doing my monthly shopping at Shop Rite or King Kullen. For me, Stop and Shop is going from bad to worse. Also, they still, since my previous post, have gotten no better about running out of items; sometimes to the extent that there are large areas of shelves that are empty and I am not talking about holidays, pre-storm days etc. Just a regular day. Their inventory system is pathetic.I think the next time I run into a number of empty spaces on the shelves Im going to take pictures and post them.A number of people I know are using Walmart now who used to shop Stop & Shop. There prices have steadily risen as well.I hope you have a better experiences with Stop & Shop than I do.

Its a grocery store. Nice that they just updated the flooring and freezers. If they could be a little more attentive to the recycling machines things would be so much easier since half of them are usually out of order.

Prices are higher than local shops. Theres other options nearby if you want to save money. Ex: Single roll toilet paper is over a dollar here... you can get it for around 80 cents at the other supermarket in the same town, same brand.Theyre also renovating the floor leaving everything dusty & dirty (gross!), I dont know why they arent wiping things down, covering the food products or putting air purifiers.

I went to rent a carpet and sofa cleaner. The server Zach at the front end was very helpful, patient and courteous. It was like a breath of fresh air to have this kind of service so early in the day.

Unfortunately this stop and shop looked like ShopRite there was barely meat on the shelves and NOTHING was on sale not yogurt no 10 for 10 specials NOTHING! I spent $150 on a grocery for a family of 2 when I usually spend $100-$120 very disappointed will not be returning to this location
What a huge store after their remodel. If you read about it online they probably have it. 4 self checkout Lanes and a huge deli and freshly cut meat department for great prices!

Store was exceptionally managed and clean, but didnt have the item originally I went to go and get.

Nice clean store. Lots of stock and large kitchen with pre-made meals. With so many supermarkets closing, this may be my new go to store.
I like some of the new features like the BBQ Hot food but they took shelf space away and offer fewer items. I do most of my food shopping here.
This is a great store, they have all the good stuff a massive selection and the staff are all very helpful. I go every weekend to do my shopping here!
Horror show. A woman in front of me on line insisting her card was charged twice. Supervisor came over etc...I left my things on the belt and went to shoprite

Go at night. After 9:00 when everyone is at home. Store was quiet. I got everything I needed quickly and didnt have to wait on lines.

Great supermarket, they have almost everything, their produce is the absolute best anywhere. They are a bit pricey, but when they run a sale, its a really good sale.
WOW. Stephen in the Seafood dept was so helpful & kind. When he found out I was allergic to shrimp he kindly cleaned them for me.

Over priced, many items I buy either dont have the prices posted or behind the wrong price tags. I unknowingly bought food items that were expired and rotten.
Just went there to get garlic bread and it had mold!! Call them and they told me they need to se the bread and the receipt, Never seen this happening before hopefully won’t happen again

The products there are a bit expensive and the bathroom needs some cleaning, but overall its pretty good.

The stop and shop in Deer Park NY makes the 1 in Hempstead NY look like a 3rd world open air wet market.
You simply CANNOT go wrong with this stop and shop bakery. Best baked goods and you can also save some $$ with Yesterdays Bakes as well!
Theyve made modifications, but the freezers were all leaking and paper towels were on the floor. Hopefully itll get better.

Meats are horrible....and Ive been in much cleaner stores
The store is clean. The deli needs improvement, carrying on personal conversations while supposedly assisting customers is unprofessional.

Stop & Shop... The name is befuddling. It conjures up many logical yet illogical scenarios. I will continue to ponder this successful yet illogical name brand.

Usually pretty good. As with all grocery stores try not to go a peak hours.
Web site says 24 hours it is NOT drove from babylon just to find out it closes at 12 but doors unlocked and u can walk in to find out its closed SMH

2022-01-25I had a bad experience last time I went there. I asked for something to someone who works there. He gave me unclear directions so I asked him one more. After I left him. I overheard him gossiping about me with another worker( he did it in Spanish, I speak Spanish)

2022-03-28One of my favorite stores to get groceries. The price is very competitive and the store brand prices are even better. There is a wide variety of everything. This is also the only place I buy flowers from. They also do catering for great price and if you are having a party and dont fry your own chicken like me, I would definitely recommend you get it here. Please pre order and it will be ready in a box for you. Great reward program too.

2022-04-11I have always liked STOP & SHOP, due to their cleanliness, I mean their stores are immaculate, but they are always out of stock or they have not gotten to put it on display yet and they offer to get it from the back for you, not a big deal. It is the cleanest supermarket I have been in.

2021-02-04Do you see the date on this? Do you see the date of my review (2/4/21)? This is DISGUSTING. I purchased one that I didnt realized had a sell by date of 1/15/21 and when opened I almost got sick. I went back to exchange and THIS WAS ON THE SHELF. A month ago! I frequently find moldy produce and other things a little past expiration and I have no idea why I go back. This is egregious though. If you have no other option but to go to this supermarket because you walk, or its just the most convenient, be very aware of the sell by dates! I wont be back, this was it.

2022-01-11Like the store but the seafood department can use some training and supervision. When buying seafood or meat, presentation is important. I will try it again will have to see.

2021-12-01Let’s just start by saying poor customer serviceThat women who works in the meat department I’m guessing she is the helper back there.I have never experienced so much rudeness in my life I had to go and complain to the manager..the meat manager said he will have a talk with her but I think the whole entire store needs a major crash course on customer service including the person who works at the customer service desk it’s so sad…but the meat lady really need to be else where..where she doesn’t have to deal with people maybe the bottle machine attendant!!!!! I would never ever go back in that store ever again as long as shop rite is open that’s where my business will be at….
