Stop and shop is stop and shop. Standard store across different locations. This one seem a bit more organized than others though.
Nice new look but why on earth charge $9.29 for Challah Bread??? Kosher or not, no one should charge that much for a loaf of bread. Completely ridiculous! Talk about discrimination.....
Chris, the assistant manager here is awesome. Really helpful to all the customers. He went out of his way to help a little old lady while I watched, and then cut some watermelon for me because there wasnt any available on the shelf. Must be a great boss for his employees.
This is my favorite Stop and Shop near my house! Everyone here is so friendly and willing to help. I enjoy bringing my children here with me and I feel that the store is extremely clean. I come here about 2-3 times a week because of its location and that I always know theyll have everything I need. The Customer Service Manager was so helpful!
I shop here all the time, a little pointer of advice there are a lot of items that are in limited supply try to find out from the stock manager when get their shipment in and get there asap or it flies off the shelves.
One of the better supermarkets in the area, it’s kept clean and modern.

Clean store, wasnt too crowded, and had a good selection of fruit and vegetables. Were visiting from Las Vegas and using Stop & Shop while we were here during our 12 day stay in a very nearby hotel. Its very convenient to stop in and grab what youd like.
This is truly the best kept Stop N Shop that I have been in to date! The store is very clean, organized, well stocked, with very fresh and visually appealing fruits & vegetables. The staff is also very friendly, helpful.. I wont hesitate to shop here again. And, would highly recommend others to shop here!

Mask mandates starting up again.Ive been to a dozen or so shops all week since mask mandates started up again and this is the only place that enforced it for me.Very disappointed in this establishment and will be bringing my business elsewhere

Im changing my review to something more positive. I was annoyed about empty shelves but its not stop and shops fault and so ill just say its not a bad store but as with many other businesses it was better before the pandemic
Chris the “assistant manager” was unable to help as he had better things to do! I wanted some freshly cut fruit, but there was none I asked if he could cut some for me. He’s done it before, but I suppose he had more important things to do now like climb the corporate ladder. Guess this is why everyone at that location calls him clipboard Chris. Then the short man Frank the store manager was also unable to help me I asked him if he knew as to where I could find a specific item, but he pretty much disregarded me and went on about his business. An elderly couple told me afterwards that’s not the first time that he’s done that. I like to think that he was once a good man, but somewhere down the path he lost his way. Gonna take my business elsewhere considering the fact there shelves are mostly empty majority of the time and that employees don’t help you.

I love this S & S. I interviewed here in 2012 and eventually was an assistant bookkeeper for the company in a few stores about 3 years later. I would give my left arm now because my company closed for good from the Covid-19 Nightmare.This store is clean and the employees are nice. I have an issue in some stores with produce freshness, but this stores produce manager keeps a clean fresh department 🍒🍓🍇🍎👍💚
Nearly 25% more expensive than their largest competitor, Shop Rite. The Stop and Shop corporate strategy seems to be, open more stores, fast and furiously.If youre trying to save a buck, its worth driving a couple extra miles somewhere else. That being said, there are occasionally some good deals in their circular, along with the normal sales on things like Soda, English Muffins and Frozen Foods. Also the store is roomy and bright, the staff has always been helpful. Finally...The recycling room is disgusting and poorly handled before the corona-pandemic, and even more so during all the madness. Firstly, the machines take forever to be serviced. I was told by the Chris, the assistant store manager as of 4/12/21 that Envipco is to be blamed as all they call do is call the the owner of the machines to have them serviced.Secondly, the rules, which are clearly posted on the exterior of the recycling center, state that the max. capacity of the room is to be no more than 2 people - standing 6 feet apart. Ok, the machines are as followsGlass - Plastic - Cans - Glass - Plastic - Cans. Thats 2 pairs of 3 kinds for a total of 6.Over the last several months, with 1/2 the machines being broken, you literally need to stand shoulder to shoulder with someone to use, say, the can machine, because some stranger needs to use the plastic machine. Unacceptable. You cant stay away from people and keep the 2person maximum in the room. They force everyone who enters to break their own rules.Most people I see there, including obvious senior citizens, seem terrible confused and not sure how to proceed. Some people just walk in without reading the rules or just not caring.If youve read this far, you might be asking, who cares? Well this lack of efficiency just outside the store floor, in an extension of the store proper, shows lack of management, foresight and responsibly for their local consumers. If they cant handle something so simple, what else cant they handle?EDIT to owners reply: Did you even read what I wrote, or does Stop and Shop utilize a bot to respond to certain keywords contained within the review? I mention nothing about social distancing, one-way isles or anything within the store proper. I just lowered my star rating due to poor social messaging.

The crew in the deli today was absolutely disgusting at 12:00. Waited 35 minutes to be helped by an angry poor attitude man. After cutting my turkey I told him to keep it as he was sweating all over and actually wiped his forehead then touched my food. I told him to keep it as it was disgusting. The other two working the deli were the hairiest men and should not be handling food. Nasty nasty and I will never use your deli again. P.s. not one boarshead cold it precut was available. Empty
Personally,I like stop and shop! They have what you need at prices you can afford. They have a shopping card which you can save even more! Even through the pandemic they tried to do the best they can in a world where this just might be the norm. Fresh produce as well. I do recommend this establishment. The only thing I have a complaint about is the one way aisles. They do have special hours for handicapped people but. I cant get there at those early hours.
I feel like this store is never properly stocked. They close the self checkout lanes too early and there are only a couple of members of staff that Ive spoken to that are actually polite and helpful.Update 4/14/21I just bumped into my previous review and had to update. They have since renovated the store and it came out really nice. Very clean never too cold and theyve been great with stock especially under the circumstances recently. I moved closer to the Medford store but will still drive to this one when possible since its so much nicer now.
Excellent customer service. They had what I wanted, on sale. And on top of that it was almost 95 degrees out that day and their air conditioning was ice cold. Lol
Favor store, it got everything I ever wanted but some things are very expensive.
Great selection and clean. But I purchased a bag of mini red skin potatoes yesterday, brought them home and was planning on making them with dinner. When I went to peel them they were green inside, they clearly went bad...I had to throw the whole bag out. Many self serve check outs but practically no cashiers, which is annoying.
Prices are up and service is down. All stores are to big except sayville. That is a beautiful regular size store. Im not trying to walk 5 miles between dairy and produce, I know all about it. I was a bakery manager for years with ahold thnx

My go to supermarket. They recently renovated their stores and they are beautiful. They have the best rewards program ever, 10cents off a gallon of gas for every $100 spent. It is cumulative, 1 point for every dollar spent per visit. I have saved upwards of 60 cents off per gallon! Great sales, and scan and bag as you go makes checkout a breeze. Run there right now!! GO

This store is pretty big and so offers a good selection. I am always disappointed with the fresh fruit section. Infact I rarely buy any fruit from here. I always find the soft fruits to be low quality and moulding. The deli is ok, but again I prefer to go somewhere else for deli items. The dry and frozen food have a bigger selection then most of the other supermarkets. Its nice to go every once in a while, but dont do my main shop here.

Stop and Rob is what the name should be. I stopped in and bought an item I usually buy at Walmart. I paid $6.59 versus my usual $3.98. I looked at other items but did not purchase. It really is an oversize convenience store.

Its conveniently located, good sales, nice produce. However, the deli is overpriced and takes far too long. If you purchase meat, you better cook it right away because it wont last long. Some employees are very nice. Others with bad attitudes. I only shop here when Im too busy to go somewhere else.
Like all the other Stop & Shops Valvoline high quality products, the stores are really clean big organize all the food are nice and fresh its no waiting like to pay bills there a lot of register open, you can use the automatic one and do everything by yourself, and like all the other Stop & Shop they have a lot of products. They are really convenient a lot of things its more expensive than the others places. And the nice things to every week a few are sociated they give you one free product

Most of the staff is very friendly and the grocery department has nice selections. However they have had moldy produce. Have also heard horror stories from people of what its like to work there
Always clean and stocked. Alot of discounts if your a member (free to join) always get whats on my list. Cashiers are friendly.
Was neat and clean..but prices are going up and quality going down.Used to love buying their homemade turkey every week..but the side of the breast us smaller and the price went up 2 or $3 ! Make my own now°
Store nice and clean and staff is helpful. However why can’t someone turn on the A/C; so uncomfortably hot as hell in that store. Sweat to death whether it summer or winter!! It’s so hot I rush to get out of store.
Didnt appreciate having the arrow security guard following me in the chip aisle. Acting as if he was searching for chips, and paced the aisle literally 5 to 6 times to seem busy! Please look after the real criminals, before you profile someone taking their time shopping with two children. The sad part is I wasnt even going to go to that stop and shop, was actually looking to go to the one in Medford! Next time I will stick to my gut, and go where I wanted to go in the first place! Will not step foot in this location again!
There is something very cozy about this place, shopping there takes the stress away. Try walking the fresh fruit isles first, then check out crazy variety of domestic and famous imported brands of cheeses and salamis. Pet food lanes, however, are my favorite: there is everything your furry friends and birds could desire.Warning: when walking past fresh baked bread, pastries and strawberry shortcakes, - dont look, or all your diets go down the drain 😆

New design equals higher prices. Sale items are the only reason to be there. It bothers me when items that expire are still on the shelf. They seem to carry a lot more variety of items but less variety per brand.
I have been shopping at Stop & Shop for about a year now over all the store is clean and well stocked. In November I needed a last minute corsage for my daughter. The girl working alone in the flower shop that very busy Sunday morning was able to make me one in record time.
This particular store was very busy & only had a few registers open. The lines were very long & this was my first time there. While waiting on line to check out, other people said that it was like this all the time. Im looking into maybe finding another place to shop. I dont want my frozen items melting before I get home.
This stop and shop has a nice look and decor inside but with all the luxury this stop and shop carry’s so dose the staff carry the same energy expect ppl staring at you if your “different”
Been going here for as long as I can remember. Carries exactly what I expect. Service is always good. Wish they carried more high quality items like sushi grade fish or made it more apparent if they did but Im still going to continue shopping here
Im so done with the store! I just bought cream cheese from them i open it and its molded!! The expiration date isnt even up! Its the store brand too. Their meat is also disgusting lately and not fresh. It truly is such a shame!! Im done wasting my money!!
The recyclable return is always full and never maintained. Half of the machines don’t work even after they have been “fixed”. When they fill up and you tell the front desk you will wait 15 minutes then go tell them again... wait another 10 minutes and then a new person will have to go tell them the machines are full and then maybe someone will come out. Andbhey corporate!, Don’t let the scans from the barcode on the wall fool you either. They don’t check the machines. They just scan and go about their way.
Horrible. Tom and Doug decided screw me and not process my payment for Western Union today Even with my Id present. Im paying my bills here for months and never had any problem before. What is your problem today. I would like to get some explanation and apologies.
Fresh produce doesnt last more than 2 days - just tossed 2 lbs of strawberries that were covered in mold after 3 days.

The new look and renovations and seating are amazing..if your starved and want to buy your own food so much cheaper you can then take time out and sit in there cozy quaint dining room and feast on that still hot rotisserie chicken or that egg salad from the deli!!!!!!!...
It was good it smelled a little weird but there was cheesecake which my daughter 😍 (loves) and it was not to big or small it was perfect (the size) either way I loved it.
Great store. However even though its called a Super Stop n Shop it really isnt as super in comparison to other Stop n Shops. I visited a Stop n Shop in Medford which is just 10 minutes away and the quality and quantity of the products in that one were far greater than this one, even the exterior was nicer. Overall its a great store with great selection, but the name Super Stop n Shop is mis leading.

This stop and shop is well put together. You have fresh fruits and veggies, fresh meats, and delicious delicatessen. Lines are usually not very long.
So many heathy products at this location! They have so many products here that are organic, vegan, cruelty free that you would normally have to go to a health food store or order online to get them. They also have such a large selection of regular type products, as well. I was actually in heaven shopping here today. I was able to get alot of stuff that I wasnt even going there for because I normally buy them online or at whole foods.I have also had equally as great experiences at the one in Flushing, Queens and on Portion road in Romkonoma but this particular store had so many more natural products than those other stores had.
I wish precautions and guidelines were more enforced. A customer not wearing any form of a mask was walking around the produce section today and not one of the 3 employees in the section said anything.
Its ok but their prices are higher than their competitors like uncle gs and shop rite. I go there mainly out of convenience.
By far the worst stop and shop around. Very dirty, unkempt, unorganized and very expensive. 67 cents for a lime while the Shirley store sells them for 50 cents. And the clientele.....oh boy! Stay away!! Would rather shop at Best Market if that tells you anything.
Im spoiled with Wegmans in back yard but will say this place is every bit as good when it comes to the variety of produce, meats, and baked goods.. very clean open and inviting. For the record there is no substitute for Boars Head meats. Wish we had it here more widely available than in specially butcher shops.
Having a stop and shop card allows you to use their handheld scanner so you can scan everything as you put in the cart and just scan a single barcode at the end, saving tons of time and energy. I dont want to shop any other way now!

My favorite store but my favorite grocery store to shop at ORD everything I need gray prices since Ive been going there since the store opens and everybody there everybody is so nice and respectful helpful the store is clean shelves to stock everything is fresh prices a grade you definitely not shop anywhere else I always get my medications there thats where all my meds go to and I love it I do my banking there and I save on my gas points so save me a little money to fill up at the gas tank what more can you ask for
I wont call any names but this spot is actually cheaper than a lot of other grocery stores in the area, never expected it but.......what a pleasant surprise indeed.
Cant give negative stars,. The store itself is OK,The bottle return center absolutely sucks.Always smelly and diry,the machines never work properly. I Hate going to these stores to return our water bottles.
I visited the Super Stop & Shop location in Farmingville. I needed to pick up some food & supplies for a get-together one evening. Their selection at their Farmingville location is excellent, and their weekly deals always save me money whenever I go in.

Customer service here is great. I have no issues and they generally have the items I am looking for. It is just more expensive compared to other local grocery stores.
People were rude and snobby as well as treated my two yr old like she was a piece of trash. I had one of those carts with the mini car attached to entertain my daughter while shopping for food and at the check out line she happened to grab a chocolate bar off the shelf when I pushed the cart through the line area and one of the workers was like she has a chocolate bar!!!! At the top of her lungs acting as though we were going to not pay for it. It was absurd. Like a two year old was going to purposely steal a chocolate bar?! I made sure the cart was empty before going anywhere bc I felt uncomfortable afterwards. Not going back after that treatment thoughm
So tired of this store, terrible register lines and staff that cant get out of their own way, they move as slow as molasses. Many items on the shelves are outdated. The store needs better management.

Newly remodeled store but the new organization of items makes it really hard to find what you need. The parking lot is terrible and too many people park illegally making it difficult to maneuver.
The store was clean and had plenty of room in the aisles. Sales were displayed with signage that was clearly visible
The Kona beer listed on their website was not stocked. Deli dept. was a bit backed up. Otherwise nice friendly staff and big clean space.

From my uneducated, non-chef teenage perspective, this place has everything. like, for real example, it even has saffron, that *luxury* spice thats being harvested by poor/ish farmers in the middle east, that now has more of a middleman to sell to the west... maybe everyone is jumping on that new market though who knows. its perfect imo.
I liked the old stop n shop when most of the organics were in one area. And there is not as much organic as there used to be in produce.
This is a fairly small Stop & Shop. It carries everything you may need need in terms of products, but the variety is smaller than that carried in the Farmingville Stop & Shop. For instance, we use Hellmans Cannola Oil mayo. The Farmingville Stop &Shop has this in stock, but the Medford Stop & Shop does not have it. If variety is not your concern, Medford Stop & Shop more than foots the bill.
The store looks beautiful but the prices are still way too high. I wont be shopping here again.

We go here all the time. Weve been to several Fridays on Long Island and this one is by far the best.
With the closures of Waldbaums, Pathmark, etc. the prices have skyrocketed and the selection has been drastically reduced. I do most of my shopping at Aldis and Costco now.

The front door is always full of extras in carts and ugly displays. Its starting to look like the old Pathmark. I dont even want to shop there. Very unsatisfied and unappealing.

Some items were difficult to find,some Stop n Shop items were not available n had to pay more for brand names like Napkins,did not get my choice in Maxwell House Coffee.
Produce section never seems to be up to other markets. I dont like the layout of it either. Vegetables should be all in the same place as well as citrus

The store is supposed to be open until 11pm on Saturday night according to the Google listing. Went there at 10pm on Sat night and the store was already closed. If they are supposed to stay open until 11pm, why were they closed?
Produce section is ok. If you buy mostly canned or boxed goods its a good store.

I guess they are making it bigger inside, well go back another time when its finished. Not our best experience today.

2022-02-21This store is very nice and large. There was a wide variety of items in each department. The bakery section had cupcakes, cakes, cookies and cheesecakes. The wine selection is nice as well. The prices were reasonable. There were a couple of good brands on sale. The produce department is large and there was a large variety of fruits and veggies. Everything looked fresh and seeing all the different colors arranged so beautifully was delight to my eyes.

2021-07-14Quick visit to use to use the bottle return. Clean store. Customer service was very nice. The maintenance guy took care of the machine problems very promptly. The service in the bottle return office was OK. This was my first time doing bottle returns so the smell in that area was unbearable I would recommend wearing a mask in there! Bring gloves and wipes! Other than that no complaints.

2022-06-03The employees I spoke to were very nice and helpful. A few even came to ask me if I needed assistance. I remembered and employee actually accompanied me to find what I needed instead of just telling me the aisle. The only negative is that the Stop & Shop had less selection than the ones in Nassau County.

2022-06-08I live in Mastic Beach, but travel to Farmingville to shop because they always have better stock. In addition to my other groceries, I specifically shop at this store because they’ve always had stock of the Weaver chicken tenders, large box of mozzarella sticks & m&m’s vanilla yogurt. Unfortunately, the last 4 times I shopped there, none of those items were available. I was very disappointed as I travel there expecting my favorite items to be in stock as they have always been in the past!! Is it possible to have those items available again? Otherwise, I can shop at a closer location if I want to settle!! Please help make my grocery experience good again!!! Thank you for your consideration.

2022-04-23My only complaint with this store is that they dont keep up with the bottle return area. The machines are always in need of emptying and they dont make it easy to get someone to come and take care of them. The windows in the area they use for grocery pick-up have been covered with paper so we dont bother the workers inside. There is a button on the wall that were supposed to use for service, but who knows if it works.

2022-06-21Cart narcs was great when they were here. Check them out on YouTube.I drive to this stop n shop location from Patchogue. It’s a better grocery store. Well managed with many more healthier/fresher options compared to the Patchogue stop n shop.

2022-06-03When I went to go get some cat food for my cats, as Im walking in to stop & shop there were 3 stop & shop worker vaping outside next to the entrance , and they were not even trying to hide that they were vaping

2022-02-27Great when you shop at the store then use your points to save on gas. The plus is the attendants that work there. Mary and Debbie, very nice people, a plus for the company.
