Pretty much all of the organic produce Ive purchased from the store in the last 3 months has been rotten which I discover when in the kitchen. Dates on some of the packaged items are sometimes up to 2 months old. I still shop here sometimes to get dry organic items because the next place is 30mins away so I cant knock it too hard. You just have to pay better attention to what you pick up.
In this time of need, the peapod service was suspended. For handicapped people with underlying health issues, his is a tremendous issue. The store will not even provide a pick up service which is unfortunate. It forces elderly ill and handicapped individuals to try to get into the store and risk their health.
Troy can find food and everything, but the works need to learn a little more manners. We understand about the cocoa -19. But when they ask a person to step back instead of just saying “ step back’ like one had leprosy, they should say” please , can you just stay back. Thank you. Very rude. We hope the managers can help some of the workers. Thank you for you attention
I was there for 15 mins. only to buy fruits and vegetables. Good selections costly. I used the self check out no staff interactions. I will recommend the grapes sweet and juicy my grand children loves them. Thank you stop and shop.
I like stop & shop and I like the variety in the store of all the items they have to offer. The store itself is clean every time I go there the staff is friendly they say hello to you and how are you at you walk down the aisles but Im not crazy about the prices I can get better prices elsewhere unless they were on sale.
You can get good deals in this supermarket. If they have a sale its worth it otherwise they can be a bit pricey. Deli and meat department are good. And cashiers and managers are friendly and helpful.
Customer service counter is the worst, always rude and they make you feel like youre bothering them no matter what you are there to ask for. I hope management reads this and has them adjust their attitudes. Ive had to return natures promise chicken multiple times with it smelling terrible even before the sell by date. The only reason I go back is because Shoprite lines are always long.
This store gets one star, not for the product but for the blatant bias toward me and my family. We Moved hear two years ago, retired NYPD, and weve been treated like we dont exist and certainly not respected, its unbelievable!! I served in the military and law enforcement and cannot believe this type of racism exist in your stores atmosphere, and so obvious. I worked hard for my retirement and I expect some respect being that they still accept my currency even though they wish they didnt have to. Smh.
Nice grocery store with good customer service but a bit more expensive. The produce section is quite good, fresh and good selection. When I have other business in the shopping center, I will often stop in and pick up a few items.
I have been shopping at stop and shop for ever,grand union before that,anyways its nice and clean ,except when I get used to buying a product, they eventually take it off the shelves!I think the prices of some products should be lower,but they have great employees, deli gets attitudes but everyone else is great..
Great store . Employees are VERY friendly and VERY helpful , a big store with a small town feel . There are times the shelves need filling but its usually on a busy weekends . They do need to add more to the salad bar .
Friendly and helpful employees, logically stocked aisles, range of products somewhat more limited then I d like : for example, needs broader range of coffees like Spanish brands of coffee.
I like it more than Shoprite. But the meat at Stop and Shop is not always good. Plenty of times Ive had to return or throw outbound beef.
Staff is rude and honestly this supermarket doesnt compare to the high touch service and options offered at Shoprite.
Definitely would avoid this place If youre a person of color. The looks I was given in here by the employees made me very uncomfortable, as if I was about to steal or something.

2022-04-18Last week I bought an iced coffee, and days later, when I wanted to drink it, I realized it was expired for over two weeks. The day before yesterday, I bought 5 “brown cow yogurts,” I brought one to work today, and it is expired!!! I don’t have the recipe. How do you fix this?

2022-04-05I ordered a cake within a days notice for my grandson. I really didnt have a design in mind whatsoever. The cake was picked up and on the way home my daughter in law unintentionally dropped groceries on the box of cake. The bakery was so kind to fix the damage under 20 minutes for her. On Sunday, after dinner the cake was absolutely delicious. I appreciate the professionalism from ordering the cake, fixing the cake and delivering such an beautiful cake beyond my expectations.

2022-03-15They ask for Id for everyone who buys beer in there store. I forgot my wallet today and they wouldnt sell me the beer. Im over 50 years old and cant believe this. Theyre the only store in town that does this. I left the beer and everything else I wanted to by on the counter, and went to Shop Rite!

2018-09-02One of my top 5 one stop shopping destinations. Quality meats, fish and produce. Not to mention just about anything related. Great pet supply section. As well as automotive and magazines! I also appreciate the baking department and in house cakes. Love the cheesecake! My wife takes advantage of the great value in the health and beauty department. Over all thats why its on my top 5 picks of best one stop shopping destinations! Highly recommended!

2021-02-21The store is normally stocked and the hours are ideal. However, I have had two encounters with the most rude cashier named Roeanne or Joeanne and she has me considering never shopping in the store and recommending the same to my family and friends. You can’t throw someone’s groceries in the bag with complete disregard for their food. It’s almost like she is angry about having a job, but if customers stop shopping in the store that’s a bigger problem. Management needs to send her back for customer service training and remind her the line of business she is working in whether by choice or force. Customer experience is everything!! I will drive to Chester to shop the store is just as nice but the service far exceeds the service in this store.

2018-09-19Always a great experience. Its civilized. Produce is fresh, butcher is available, people are knowledgeable about the food, the store and are helpful. Im greeted with a hello, told to have a nice day. And the sales compete with big box. I cant emphasize how nice it is to walk down clean isles, not see or hear trash in any form. So civilized. Makes something as ordinary as food shopping a pleasure.

2020-07-21If you have ever been to another stop and shop you will be highly disappointed. All cramped up for my take. The sushi station is a joke, and forget about the restroom. Staff is hit or miss, store is stocked up but the prices are much higher than going to a Walmart or shop rite. Parking is easy never had an issue. They do carry some British/Irish products.

2019-12-28Good selection. Prices normal for the area. However, we were disappointed in the employee interaction. We were there with my 90 year-old aunt who purchased $150 worth of groceries. Were there any baggers? Nope. The young couple in front of us had a bagger for their dozen or so items but not the senior citizen. Fear not Stop n Shop, we covered for you. I hope this was a one time issue and not indicative of the store. We were up for the holiday and most times, she is shopping by herself.

2020-02-18This place is definitely racistI did not enjoy the way the employee was on my back during self checkout. This is the second time this happend to me now, as if I was not going to scan all my items. He moved from the section completely once I was finished even though there were plenty of other (white) customers there.
