I chose this storage facility solely based on reviews and they didn’t disappoint. Anthony, the manager, was great! He went above and beyond to make our move easy and seemless. Not only is the customer service great, but they also have the lowest rates in the area. Only complain I have is, they should have more staff, I think it’s a lot for one person. But still, on a very busy Saturday, with people moving in and out, plus all the new customers inquiring information in the front desk, Anthony managed to acknowledge everyone upon arrival, and take care of them in a timely manner. He was also very patient showing us around the different units available, and explaining which one would work better according to our needs and budget. When in need of storage, at a good price, convenient and with great customer service, look nowhere else..
We feel very lucky to have selected Storage Post over the multiple options available to us. It was a pleasure to meet Alex who was incredibly helpful, making sure that all our needs were met. We accidentally dropped our keys in a lower storage unit and Alex was creative in helping us retrieve our keys without having to break into that unit! Very clean facility. I feel safe every time I go there and am delighted that we can keep on getting bigger and bigger units as our home gets smaller and smaller. Thank you Alex and staff.
This place is THE BEST!!! It is a clean and well kept facility and the rates are EXTREMELY reasonable. As for the staff, I only encountered one so far which was Alex and he was AWESOME!!! I was having a bit of a difficult time getting situated but he really helped to make the check-in process run smoothly. Also, Alex answered all of my questions and explained the storage facilities policies and procedures to me clearly. He was a pleasure to deal with. I HIGHLY recommend this facility for your storage needs due to its economical prices and its staff (so far Alex...if he is any indication of the rest of the staff then I am sure that they are just as AWESOME!!!).
I just signed up so cannot attest to grading the facility itself but the current store manager Anthony is a gem! He was very helpful when i first signed up and got me the best unit available in regards to size and proximity to loading dock. The day i moved in was a Sunday and i was running a tad late since they do close early on that day and he was gracious enough to stay after hours to let me store my furniture that i was bringing in on a rental truck - if he hadnt stayed later i would have had no place to put my items and would have had to incur further charges with the rental truck co. I cannot thank him enough - he provided the human quality often lacking in business. His customer service and plain old compassion are second to none and this location would be smart to do anything to keep him there because i think he is the only reason the place is still running! Anthony - kudos to you and keep doing the amazing job you are doing! Thank You!
Anthony was genuinely kind and helpful. Although, it was closing time he took the time to show me the room that would accommodate my need and fit my budget. And to my surprise he also told me about a special offer of the paying for the Unit one time and for two months the room would be for free!!! What a deal!! What a delightful young man Mr. Anthony is!! Storage Post struck gold when they hired him, he should get a promotion and a raise for what he brings to this company!!!!!!!!!
My experience was awesome yesterday. Anthony is great he had patience with me and accommodated my needs. His customer service is what sealed the deal. I shopped around before I chose Storage Post. The price and customer service has all others beat by far.Thank you Anthony!!!!
We moved some old furniture that had belonged to my grandmother, as well as three book cases and multiple boxes, into a second space at Storage Post Yonkers the week before the December holidays. I was a little nervous about pulling this off so close to the holidays, as it is a busy time and can be challenging to get one-on-one customer service anywhere!Alex, the Storage Post manager, was amazing. He orchestrated the whole process so well for us that everything about the move-in went incredibly smoothly and efficiently. When we realized that a first space selected was not going to be the perfect size, he went back to the list of available spaces and was able to assess our items and square footage needs, and chose the perfect space right away. He also helped my husband and our movers recommend exactly how to place the items in the space to maximize use of the space. In short, he is a fantastic manager -- super competent, professional, and really nice to deal with. It makes us think of Storage Post almost as a family run business because of the attention to customer service. And btw Storage Post Yonkers is well maintained, accessible and has competitive prices! We are very happy to have chosen this facility! Thank you Alex, and Storage Post! :)
Manager named Anthony was extremely helpful and courteous. He helped me bring my furniture upstairs after the moving company left my things outside on the ground. He was very king and accommodating. He is a great asset to this business and manages the store well.
After speaking with someone at the call center, I was discouraged and began shopping elsewhere. The next morning, I had received a phone call from the Storage Post Yonkers locations manager, Anthony. Anthony was able to offer me a 10x7 room at substantially less cost and was able to provide details the call center agents simply did not have. Once I arrived at the Yonkers location, Anthony was the only employee working at the office counter. He was helping another customer when I walked in, but quickly finished and within 5 minutes began helping to answer my questions. He took me on a brief tour of the facility and showed me three different rooms that were all the same size. The layouts were slightly different as some rooms had pillars, pipes, etc running through them. I was quickly able to determine the best room for my purposes. I am very happy with the outcome and am glad I did not hastily pick yet again a non climate-controlled U-Haul room just up the street.
I rented a storage today with storage post in Yonkers. It is a very clean facility and today everything was much easier with the help of Kristian. He gave me a facility tour and made me feel so comfortable. He was super helpful and answered all my questions. If you need storage come here and if Kristian is the one to help you even better for you.
This place is great to store your belongings! Friendly staff, tight security, and adequate space and climate control. The prices are very reasonable, and you dont have to sign a yearly contract, which is great if youre planning short-term storage. Highly recommended!!!
Update 9.9.20Had an issue with Santana in the past and is still not resolved by Mohammed. Anyway finally spoke to him regarding my increase even with financial hardship this guy is out making deals and does not like keeping good tenants that pays on time.Still Renting here my rent increased due to pandemic increase per Mohammed new manager that replaced Alex Oates. These managers are all alike rude very unprofessional. Been calling them since last month regarding my rate increase and given the circumstances that my financial hardship they wont give me a break for another year. Anyway I do not recommend this storage location for new renters elevators always broken and the 24 hours access is not safe full due to drug addicts and homeless getting in there.I have been long time customer (tenant) of storage post for a long time cant recall how long but it has been a while. I have been loyal and never had any delinquency on paying rent its always on time. I had no complaints either when my storage was move from another unit and the movers broke my granite top and also broke the casters for my bbq grill which up to this day no one from storage post has corrected the issue. I do have an incident with the district manager ALEX OATES which was so unprofessional in his reasoning increasing my rent to get his numbers high and at quota at that time. I was being force to either pay rent I cant afford in my budget or look for another unit. Having written a bad review corporate calls me and corrects the incident. ALEX OATES never said a word or even heard from him but its ok I wouldnt want to conduct business with a selfish guy like him and as much as possible I avoid him.This morning, 10.17.19 around 11:15 AM I stopped by to pick up my packages was greeted by the new manager of the store (Santana) and asks me what can she help me with. I said I am here to pick up my packages then she mentions my full name. I find it odd that an individual I havent met knows my full name and it felt like there is something personal about it. Anyway she gets my packages in the back room then she went ahead and recites the new policy regarding packages, that going forward packages delivered within 24 hours over that time the next packages will be rejected. I have been forwarding my packages both personal and business (mostly business now) in this storage unit from the very first day I became a tenant and I never had a problem with a couple of days delays picking it up. The policy has always been like that with the exception of a courtesy call that the packages arrive and when it gets picked up. I know this policy already but most of my packages now are from my company and business related. I pick these up on company time in business hours. Most recent managers never really gave me an issue until Santana came on board and I feel like this is due to Alex Oates. I have explained this to Santana that this packages are business oriented and are getting picked up in business hours. I was on jury duty from 9.30.19 to 10.11.19 and has no means of picking up packages in time. I explained to her that before I even get courtesy calls for the packages and I would pick it up the same day or next day. I ended the conversation that this feels like a personal issue with Alex Oates.On the side not, since the 24hr access started this place felt dangerous due to renters living in their storage units. On my floor alone there is a guy that sleeps in his unit and smokes drugs. I wont mention the unit till I get a phone call, I have mention this to the previous managers and no one has taken any actions. Yes I dont recommend this place to new renters until some of the management corrects this issues.
We had a good move had no problems at all. Cart was availble at time of our move. We had a bit of a problem with the storage - when I did my application and reservation with Lacy on 4/17th I reserved for a 5x5x4 but when we got there it was a locker and had to use a ladder which I specifically asked I cannot use a ladder due to my knee surgery and Lacy told me I did not have to use a ladder that storage was on the gound floor but it was not. But when we got there on 5/4th this wonderful woman Tanya assisted us so wonderfully and so helpful with our paper work of transfer to another storage on the 2nd floor. Tanya was great very professional very helpful and so nice. She was exceptional even with other customers (which i noticed). We really appreciated all her help and assistance that day that we moved in. Thank you very much, Tanya!! You should be given a good compensation for you representing Storage Post.
I never used self storage but the manager Anthony walked me through the entire process and made it very simple. Anthony was polite and extremely helpful. The entire process only took a few minutes to rent and get my access code. I was able to get started right away. When I came back a few days later Anthony remembered my name and went out of his way to say HI and ask if there was anything I needed. Great storage facility!
First of all I would like to say Rudy is beyond helpful. Very polite and patient. We actually found this storage place for a relative of mine but when speaking of prices I had to terminate my overpriced storage location and move in to this one. Rudy was respectful and answered every question we had as we toured multiple units until we found the one we chose. He helped make the whole process very easy. The location is clean and kept well. I am finding this Storage Post building to be the greatest thing since the invention of Rocky Road Ice Cream!!!! I found this Yonkers storage unit on the web, and feel totally blessed and fortunate that I did so. The first thing you notice when you enter the building is how impeccably clean and spacious and organized is the entryway space.The second aspect you become aware of is how gracious and helpful and efficient and kind and knowledgeable is ANTHONY, the STORAGE MANAGER. He is totally the best in every way, and I know whereof I speak because I have spent most of my career in storage spaces with artwork. If ANTHONY lived in NYC, I would recommend that he works with Marshall Fine Arts, or US Art, because he has a wonderful manner with his clients and an excellent mind for spatial arrangements and for the knowledge of the business.The great feeling about this Yonkers Storage Post location lasts when you get upstairs to the individual units, and find them very clean and easily entered. The security systems and the intercom system are excellent as well -- and they work!!!As you can gather, I have found this Storage Post location to be fantastic, and feel extremely lucky to have searched the web, and found it. Please store your important objects here, and I think you will be very pleased. Also, I must mention ALEX, who works here as well, for he too is very, very helpful, knowledgeable and kind.
Rudy was very helpful and professional in getting me the correct size storage. I thought it would be a problem changing from one size to the other bigger and more practical means of storing my goods and not an issue with the change or price change went through thoroughly as told . Storage Post has a completely different atmosphere than CubeSmart. When it comes to customer service, they are the best! Yolanda, at the call center, really made it easy to get my paperwork done. She even followed up with me when I did not return her call. She absolutely took care of me. Alex is another employee who poured out positively to his customers. He did not hesitate to help me with some of my furnitures when I transferred from one unit to the next. He looked for ways to help me save and made the process personal for me when he asked about my day. Margo*, (I hope I am spelling it right), has tranquility within herself that made me want to ask more questions without feeling out of place. She was relatable and understanding. She even apologized for keeping me waiting when it was not her fault at all. Her sense of humor made the place light up. I definitely appreciate the team (company and for the company for recruiting such a powerful team. I wouldnt expect anything less at Storage Post of Yonkers, NY.
Alex at the Yonkers location is really on the ball. He gets the job done whatever it takes and no matter the barriers he has to get through. The heat was in dire need of repairs and he saw to it that it was done. Its considerably warmer withing the building. Could still use a few degrees higher but at least its working. I always see him being ultra friendly with the customers including myself and always on the go getting something accomplished in the building. Its always kept up in great care and clean. I dont think I can say an unkind word about him or that location. Keep up the great work guys!
The experience of securing a storage unit here was excellent! Marie was able to find a unit that fit my needs. Marie at all times was genuinely thoughtful, caring and patient and most importantly just pleasant and friendly. I recommend this location to anyone as your belongings are secure and you will be able to deal with the friendly staff, especially Marie.

Ive been with Storage Post in Yonkers for a long time, but they still find ways to go above-and-beyond in the ways they help me, even after all this time. Alex Oates, the district manager, was a HUGE help to me recently (along with his boss whose name I dont know, unfortunately). They took a difficult situation and made it easier for me. Great people running a great place. And Alex Lambertus, the location manager in Yonkers, always has a smile and has helped me many times. And I guess I should add that the place is clean, brightly lit, and reasonably priced (I take all that for granted at this point). Overall, an A+.
Rented a storage unit today and it turned out to be the wrong size I needed. Rudy was so helpful and kept my stress level low while he resolved my issue in no time. Facilities you can tell are well kept.
Alex, the site manager at Yonkers, Saw Mill River Rd is an amazing guy. He assisted me in moving out of Storage Post after almost 20 years of renting a unit. He was very compassionate, understanding and helpful in my transition. I want to say Storage Post is a clean, safe and comfortable place to rent from. I Enjoy my stay😊
Manager Anthony was EXTREMELY accommodating when I went in to sign lease for my storage unit. The associates who take reservations over the phone during the initial consultation should be as thorough as he was when it comes to making sure that the rooms rented are suitable for their customers. Anthony can certainly teach them a thing or two.
Alex Lambertus was wonderful! He was so reliable and resourceful; helped me with my move from one unit to the next with the patience of an angel. He even hooked me up with a great price and with garbage bags. He is a true asset to the facility and should definitely be promoted to management.I’m recommending this place and Alex to everyone!!!

He is always available with whatever i need, and is willing to work with me, to the best of his ability. Anthony knows all his customers, and addresses them by their names. It really makes a difference when you are acknowledged and your needs are met. Excellent customer service skills.
I had a unit at this particular location and recently had an issue that was totally my doing. I spoke to Mohammed who was so pleasant and professional and the issue was resolved expeditiously . As a retiree who is actually shut in at the moment .I appreciate Mohammeds professionalism and understanding. He made my day and I will certainly refer my friends and family to use this site.
The WORST customer service EVER!!The girl in the afternoon hours doesnt care about the customers. Im moving out to another storage. Im even paying more in the new storage, but I prefer to pay more and be treated with respect. This is a very competitive time in business and with all the storage facilities available, the only thing that makes one to have an advantage over the others is a good customer service and this facility lack of it.

I was too quick to judge this place after a minor misunderstanding, the manager Alex called me within an hour and explained to me everything. It’s great to really have a place that actually delivers everything they say. The customer service is amazing and responsive. I would definitely recommend this store unit over the others in Yonkers . Totally set the bar for me.
Rudy was SUPER friendly and helpful. I was not sure of what size storage space I needed as I was going to book it online and I’m glad I went in. He was polite and explained everything thoroughly! I highly recommend!

Having a storage unit can be a frustrating situation, fortunately Santana professionalism has allowed me to let down my guard and ultimately feel comfortable with doing business with storage post. I had a unit infested with mice that chewed through all of my personal belongings and un replaceable items. The district manager Alex still made me pay my balance in full before processing any credit. That was back in February. I still have not received my insurance check and no one nor him has returned any of my calls or text messages I contacted him over 50 times atleast with phone records to prove it. And to add their were over $2,000 in damages and he only offers to give $350 for me having insurance over 2 years . This place is infested and they are not reliable nor care about anyones personal belongings .I would never recommend anyone to use this storage unless you take the risk of losing valuable items and the company ripping us off. I also have pictures of dead mice on my beds pictures and kids clothes. This place is disgusting. I moved forward with an attorney. Hope this helps everyone. You would be better off paying the extra money for a reliable storage unit who appreciates their customers. The people who comment well about this place must be good friends of the district managers because its hard to even get someone to answer the phone at the Yonkers location. # Whereismyinsurancecheck130later. The storage we had was good and clean. The facility is well maintained. However you do get the occasional people that leave the door open or jam it so they can get in and out without a code. Besides that the place is very well lit and secure.
Came in today with my husband as a first time customer. Ahjenay Santana helped us and was very very helpful. Walking in we were feeling nervous and anxious, especially because we are moving due to unfortunate circumstances and Ahjenay made us feel soo welcomed. She is very knowledgeable and answered all of our questions. Thank you Ahjenay Santana for your excellent customer service skills and making us feel well.
Both gentlemen at this facility were excellent removed my doubts that customer service skills no longer existed they were attentive they were helpful and made me feel very comfortable about leaving my items at the facility.On the other hand contacting customer service on the phone although the lady was very sweet and even offered me a free lock for my storage container was very pushy about collecting The $25 administration fee that was already stated I had to pay in my email. Each time I called it almost felt like there was a push to collect this money and even was told I’m not guaranteed my price but it was already guaranteed in an email. Also customer service fails toinform you that there is a $10 a month fee for insurance unless you already have renters insurance which the gentleman happily explaied so the $25 admistrastion fee is actually $35 And your unit is the price plus $10 a month. I have insurance so not an issue for me.My 5 star on top is because the facility really really took care of business and the two men that were there were very professional and helpful they deserve recognition.
Gloria was very professional and made our move in very easy. Building was clean, storing was made easy with assessable loading area.She was very helpful in transferring us to a bigger unit. This location has become absolutely disgusting and is a massive DUMP!! There has been furniture in the rear of the building for WEEKS!!! This place was run so much better in the past. How cheap of you to not even get a dumpster to remove the trash that has been there for weeks?!I dont know whom replaced Alex, but they are doing a TERRIBLE job and is the absolute worst - they dont even take care of the facility whatsoever!!CORPORATE SHOULD BE MADE AWARE OF THIS OR YOU WILL LOSE YOUR CUSTOMERS!!!!
If I could leave no stars I would. This company never informed me that they clipped my lock for some unknown reason because I am On autopay and have paid on time on the 13th of everyone month for the past 10 months. They negated to document any reason for making changes to my storage unit, supplied me with a new lock for free and said only that a “Major” walk thru had been done 2.5 weeks ago and that many units were affected. Then they back peddled and stated we would never clip a lock without the customer present, then why did you credit me a lock for free?They have no one to speak to, refuse to give last names. No staff directory. The district manager Mohammed Sadqeen can only be sent an email from the staff and asked to respond to you at his earliest convenience. My unit when opened by the staff in front of me with their key and lock showed that my unit had been ransacked and burglarized of about 1/4 of the items. My Bose sound bar gone, my wedding dress gone, Gucci shoes gone amongst many more items. There only answer is to tell you to file a report with the police.
It’s a storage place, nothing much to say. It’s relatively clean and I rarely encounter anyone there. I live in the city but use this one because of the better prices.
I did not rent a unit today but I just wanted to write the review and say that the workers there Livan and Gabriel were very great in helping me find the exact locker size I needed. Unfortunately I didnt have enough funds at the moment to rent the unit but I will surely be back by the end of this week!
Relocated and extremely overwhelmed, but Anthonys customer service made a huge difference. He was knowledgeable and comforting. Its hard to find an individual with such genuine knack for customer service. Will recommend others here.
Storage Post in yonkers is the best! They have the best prices and the staff is so friendly and helpful. Anthony V. Hooked me up with a great price, a great size space, a free lock and he even let me finish moving my stuff in when they were supposed to be closing. They are caring and provide the best customer service! I highly recommend storage post!
There was an amazing and attentive guy that helped us on Saturday. I believe his name was Livan Rosario. He made everything easy and was very thoughtful for my dad because he is in a wheelchair. He made sure the room was ready access for my dad.Thank you so much 😁
Have had minor issues in the past with not receiving referral incentive. Staff is usually courteous but should brush up on customer service skills since some remarks previously given have been a bit judgemental. Units always available, bathroom always clean. My only issue is the elevator, took quite a while to go down 4 floors, thought I was going to get stuck.
I am a customer of Storage Post and recently got into random conversation with other customers and this is NOT something that should go ignored! I was warned to be careful with this so-called manager Santana because if you ever need anything she considers to be a “favor”, she wants you to pay her directly, so SHE can pocket the money! We as customers already pay monthly fees and to have to give Santana money directly for herself is unacceptable!! I will be moving my stuff out of Storage Post and telling everyone I know not to store their belongings here. I refuse to provide my name because my stuff is still in storage and I don’t want this little hood rat Santana tampering with my belongings!!!Storage Post, YOU HAVE A THIEF ON YOUR HANDS!!
Rudy and Tanya are the best, Ive been with Storage Post for many years and the past staff are the worst customer service people you ever encounter i have to ask if Storage Post look for the worst people to hire. Rudy and Tanya keep it up and more customer will be coming to Storage Post!

Walking in I was so overwhelmed . Rudy approached me at the door was so helpful from the minute I walked in. He walked me through the the different types and within 10 minutes I picked one and was storing immediately. Excellent customer service and would recommend !! Thank you Rudy !
Anthony was amazing! We upgraded our unit after nine years at this location. This location is clean, modern and convenient! Never had a problem in 9 years! Highly recommend this location.

The move in was smooth the facility was clean orderly and organized. The store manager Anthony was kind and friendly’made us feel welcomed and extremely helped with every detail and aspect of our move. The overall experience was rlexcellevt and I recommend this storage facility.
Livan and Gabe are wonderful guys that made my life easier by giving me an inquiry and sending it to my social worker which decreased stress levels. The tour around the facility was magnificant , clean bright atmosphere, Great customer service and a good opportunity to communicate one on one level. All my questions were answered and very knowledgeable answers.
I came here about two weeks ago with my girlfriend to rate a unit and the workers in the office were happy and helpful. The building was clean, and their rates are the best Ive seen compare to the other storages next door. I would definitely recommend this company and location.
The manager Santana is extremely nice and helpful. She cleaned out the locker for me before I put my stuff in even though I told her I would do it. I would recommend coming here.

My rate has changed 4 times since renting here. I am now paying almost the same price for a smaller unit. Parking here is horrible! They share a loading area with commercial trucking company which makes navigating to the limited parking area an adventure. I will be moving and taking my business elsewhere. Photos to follow. Not to mention finding mice droppings in my unit.
The manager today, I think his name is Anthony, was very attentive to my needs. He explained everything needed to know very clearly. Although he was working alone, he multitask & was able to make all happy. Hes for sure a keeper.
No customer service after working hours, in case of a problem no one is available for speaking with. place Is clean good access to storage, Im not recommending. No physical security after hours, no matter how good the maintenance the fact that you dont have an emergency is big issue

Rent went up quickly after we moved in. The company charged the customers what was spent on the renovation. One day I didnt have access to my unit due to a malfunction with the elevators. Also stairs werent accessible dont know why. Employee was a bit rude about it . I called and complain about it. Regional manager promise a rent discount and never happened.
Livan was very helpful and curteous and went out of his way to show us the different available rooms until he showed us the perfect. Employees like that you need all over the place because is hard to find. Thank you Livan.
Anthony, is an amazing employee, the way he presented himself, kind, courteous , and respectful. I would recommend this storage to anyone the prices are also really cheap, and they are willing to work around your budget 10/10
Alex Lambertus made the paperwork and registration super easy. There were ample hand carts to help make my move smooth and everything was very clean and well lit. Really great facility.

With the exception of parking spaces (very small) but plenty available everything is excellent. The staff especially is amazing and very helpful...I would definitely recommend..
They will steal your belongings and then play catch me if you can! Do not utilize this facility. If you do, it is at your own risk. Unsavory and unscrupulous. I have contacted Yonkers Police Department and am pursuing legal action if this isnt rectified. I visited the facility during a rainy evening. There were vagrants sheltering from the weather, one lady even appeared to be on drugs, sitting on a cart with bags. Rudy, an associate had said that they had issues with people coming in after hours filming, music videos and hanging out. This was as of 4/26/2020. I also heard that Santana left, The manager Muhammed has yet to have their corporate office reachout. there are also mice and other vermine.
It was easy and great. AndAnthony Vola was a great help. He made sure my experience was easy and comfortable. I have gotten storage before and i came back once again. Definitely top notched

Good place to store your items. Beginning to automate, but still not accessible 24/7. Business hours posted on their website. Usually clean, but for some reason have recently done away with their trash cans on every floor. Prices similar to nearby storage places. They usually help out at community fairs.

I was promised 2 months of free storage. I went to my storage at the beginning of the second month and was denied access. Don’t let them promise you 2 months because obviously they don’t keep their word. They better fix this problem.
Just moved in on the 1st floor premium unit its very big and got a good deal From The management Santana and DM Alex they were sooooo awesome to me her customer was phenomenal she has to be the perfect fit for this property would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!!!!
Its an Okay place to store stuff at first, but then monthly prices go up, based on cost of maintaining units climate control but thats a hoax. In winter mention sensors triggers heater blower Only when You go in, same for the summer. Other than this, consumers property suffers intense heat and cold.

They freak have a/c blasting on each floor as soon as you step out the elevator and other areas. Let me tell you when I went to my storages.. that was everything to me lol

This is a horrible company. Corrupt and unethical business practices. They double book units and dont refund money for units never used and if/when you try to cancel, there is not a human being on the phone, and then they continue to try to charge you their fraudulent charges. I have disputed all charges on my credit card, and next will be continued online reviews, and calls to the Better Business Bureau and FTC.

Cheapest storage around. Customer service is not the greatest and had many issues with getting to my unit because of issues with their system. When I notified them they told me they will fix it but they never did.

2022-08-24I purchased a unit on a Fri, it was not big enough so on that same Fri I upgraded. The acct had a bal which I was told would be taken care of. I rented a truck moved all of my items from my prior storage just to get to this storage and my access code would not work. Luckily another customer let me use their access code seeing as it was a Sunday and they were closed and no one was answering when I called the number for customer service. However me and my two sons had to unload the truck bring things up to one floor because thats where the access code took us to and then walk up a flight of steps to our actual unit. Please keep in mind that this was an actual truck from U-Haul not a van a truck. That was not a pleasant experience for me and my two teenage children. I really hope that the future would this company is better than my first weekend. I switched to this company because their prices seemed to be better than my previous location. Fingers crossed.

2022-08-15Employees are always very nice and helpful, units are ok with decent prices. Parking is absolutely horrific. The other businesses use SPs spots and no one monitors it. Way too much commercial traffic, 18 wheelers, moving trucks etc using the same lot. Its been bad enough where I am looking to move into another facility. Update 8/15 no better. Multiple cars parking across three spots, completely ignoring the diagonal lines for the parking spots, 3 out of the 4 times Ive been back since the review. As for SP replying saying I should speak to customer service. I did. BEFORE posting the review. I was told they couldnt help me, I said but youre customer service, their response was something along the lines of well yeah so you can call and pay your bill or ask questions...they told me to speak with someone at the facility, which I had actually done before contacting CS. Got the runaround and nothing done. How about some new painted lines, someone watching to make sure dedicated spots arent being used by the neighboring businesses...there are plenty of other places to store your stuff. Better neighborhoods, better parking, better prices, better customer service...

2022-01-05Moving in was a hassle. I had to ask for assistance about 5 times. Because there were so many barriers just to get access to the storage unit. First, I had to wait for someone to show up. I then purchased a lock that was defective, and my husband had to insist to get a functioning lock that was purchased. Then the access was not working, had to go back. Had to locate the correct elevator by self, then finally got to storage and there was a lock on it (not mine), in which I had to again ask for assistance. I have never had so many barriers trying to get into a unit. Ridiculous honestly.

2019-12-01I am a longtime customer and have seen many people come and go at Storage Post. Rudy Pierre was one of the best people I have ever dealt with and am so glad that he is working there. He clearly has had experience in this field and would make a great manager at one of your many locations. This person is well easily worth promoting, he is patient, kind, knowledgeable and thorough. I waited while he dealt with several people ahead of me. In doing so, I witnessed him handling customers, one lady that was being truly ridiculous and he stayed calm and nice through it all. Rarely do you see that!Santana is also a very sharp person working for the company, very personable and thorough and as friendly as can be. She has great people skills and is also someone that I fee should easily be promoted, very solid.Alex Oates is obviously a staple with the company and is solid as well, also very customer oriented and has helped me on several occasions to feel comfortable with staying at Storage Post, particularly when other managers were leaving or I had a major issue there. He is obviously invaluable and should be a full blown executive at this company. Eric, Erika and others have been great at the headquarters in Atlanta, really amazing and of course Pete has also been pro customer with me over the 10 plus years that I have rented from SP. I plan to continue to stay with the company as a renter and am always referring new customers, have probably referred over 20 people during my time as a renter. Anyhow, there are a few things that are problematic things that have nothing to do with your employees but that should perhaps be addressed with Alex and I will do that when he and I talk next. I feel as a renter that this location needs to be kept clean of street people that have nothing else to do but hang out and bother renters like myself. That’s the part that doesn’t feel good or In fact...safe. Anyhow, overall, you guys are great and the people working for you in Yonkers that I have dealt with...are doing an incredible job, hope corporate will take note of that. 2022-05-03Not enough lighting where I had my unit even it was told to the office about it. Then after an entire two month’s they decided to place the lights. I was in total darkness it’s a corner unit. And the price’s are a bit high

These prices beat many of these competitors near by which I wont name. I definitely recommend Storage Post for anyone looking for a great space with an awesome price.
