My experience is EXCELLENT with Stu-Art. Great customer service and fast shipping. I have been a loyal customer for many years and I wont buy from anyone else. Packaging is excellent.. I had a family heirloom I wanted to frame. I contacted a archivist who works with the Historical Society and she recommended Stu-Art. I am so happy with the work they did. And I loved that they were so enthusiastic about the project. I will use them again if I need more framing.

2017-12-23I recently had framed a piece of artwork given to me about 20 years ago. 2020-06-15My husband and I have been going to Stu-Art since we moved to Baldwin 22 years ago. This neighborhood jewel has a great knowledgeable staff and owner/framing specialist. They have made great recommendations for framing our works of art and posters/photos. They are always considerate of our budget when needed. When my mom wanted a small painting by her friend framed, we wanted something special but couldn’t spend a lot since she insisted on paying herself. They found a beautiful framing material which was normally expensive, but because it was a remnant, they gave us a very good price! Recently I damaged two art works; one fell off the wall and they replaced the shattered glass perfectly and installed a new backing and wiring. A second piece was one in which the artist had constructed and painted the frame himself. I didn’t have high hopes. In only 7-10 days, the owner, who is quite a craftsman, fixed and refinished the frame so that you couldn’t even tell it had been damaged! And that’s not all… they also show hand-made items by local artists. For Christmas, I bought my husband a hand-blown and decorated glass ball which hangs in a lighted area and sends colors about the room. It’s worth a visit from wherever you are to come to Stu-Art.

2020-08-09I recently did a portrait of my 3 young grandsons, so it was a precious piece and the framing had to be fabulous! I had been going to Stu-Art for years and Andy never lets me down. He took tons of time and patience with me, trying out every color mat and tons of frames. His input was invaluable and the result was, as expected....fabulous! Five stars from me!

2018-12-06I brought in a painting I wanted framed. The owner Andy was great! He presented me with all the options but recommended what he thought would work the best. Stu-Art did an awesome job and Andy definitely steered me in the right direction. It turned out great! I would highly recommend this place.
