I love this salon for many reasons. My first visit was about 2 years ago for pro addiction and I fell in love. Service is great. Availability is amazing and most importantly the results are absolutely phenomenal. Now I come for pro addiction, cut and recently did balayage which I’m completely in love with. Highly recommend this salon. Everyone is friendly. Just a note I come all the way from south Brooklyn and wouldn’t trade this salon for anything. Thank you Studio 34
I went to Tyger over a year ago when a stylist at another salon botched my dyed blond hair and cut. He was extremely patient and meticulous, making sure every piece was dyed correctly and fi my haircut. I’ve been coming to him ever since for blond balayage and a haircut and am happy every time I leave. He’s a real artist with blond hair. I highly recommend.
Great salon, excellent stylists, professional service and management. Ive been a customer for the past 8 years. Highly recommended. Ive had Keratin treatment, haircuts and color. Never disappointed. Always leave feeling like a movie star!
Tyger is the best!!!!! I was a hair color newbie but I saw what a great job he did with my sister’s hair so I knew I was in good hands. He made me feel totally comfortable and at ease and I couldn’t be happier with the results. I’ve gotten so many compliments on my balayage.Tyger is a genius with color and he is so detail oriented. Sometimes it seems like he is paying attention to every hair on my head, lol. I trust him implicitly and I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for quality hair color.Oh and the price is pretty reasonable, about the same going rate as other salons in the area or maybe a little less.
I have been doing my hair at this place for almost 4 years now. I have been using Tigers and Kemals services according to their availability. I cant describe how satisfied I am with these 2 super professional hair - stylists. During 4 years I went from dark hair color to the blonde one and vice-versa. Tiger does an impeccable job, he is always confident in what he is doing and gets your color done exactly the way you want it to be. Kemal is amazing, very professional in coloring , hair cutting and styling your hair. They definitely put their clients interest as their priority.I always get compliments after I get my hair done by these amazing hairstylists.Thank youPS: their shampoo girl is super nice all the time! She is very gentle while washing your hair, you almost fall asleep :)Per total, very relaxing and positive atmosphere. Perfection !
I went here for the first time to get my hair done. I got a full head of highlights (blonde), haircut, and blow out and the stylist who did my hair was amazing. You have to go here and ask for Camillo! He’s a new stylist there and is incredibly talented and affordable! I’m so thrilled with my hair and can’t wait to show it off to everyone!
I’ve always been scared to go lighter with my hair and Studio 34 did an amazing job making it exactly how I wanted. I am very happy with my hair and everyone is very nice there. Always do a great job with my blow dry. Definitely going back.
I have been going to Tyger at Studio 34 on 40th street for over a year now. He does all my cuts, balayage highlights, and now keratin treatments. He does a phenomenal job, takes time to do it well, and communicates with you so you are both on the same page. The staff there are all friendly and the prices are great. It will remain my salon as long as they are there. Highly recommend.
I’ve been coming to Studio 34 for almost 2 years thanks to the staff! After hopping around from one studio to the next for highlights and haircuts I liked, a friend referred me to Studio 32 and I could not be happier! I have seen Tyger and Camilo, both blonde experts from balayage to highlights to haircuts and blowouts. Tyger and Camilo are both honest with their opinions and recommendations, always take their time, and listen to exactly what you want. Prices are affordable for NYC, studio is clean and welcoming, 10/10 would recommend.
I saw Tyger for a full head bayalage and couldn’t be happier with the results! My hair is naturally very thick and black so colouring it is hit or miss but Tyger was great at working with the consistent colouring and still deliver a perfect blonde! I will definitely be back 10/10
I have been coming here since May 2019 and I will not go anywhere else. Tyger is the absolute best when it comes to color and balayage. He listens to what you want & delivers that and more. I only trust him with my hair and my color. He cares about his clients and their needs.
I got a fantastic haircut and blow dry at this place at half the cost of other salons. At around $45 for haircut and blow dry of high quality Im considering making this my regular salon.Also, the hairdresser blow dried my hair wavy and I dont know what it was but it held the curls like never before (my hair tends to straighten out before you know it) and stayed curled for the entire weekend! Highly recommend!
Had my hair colored by Camilo today. He was excellent ! Chose the perfect color and was professional and quick. I was very pleased with this salon on all levels and would definitely go back.
I have been going to Tyger for 3 years and he is the only person I trust to do my hair at this point. I have wavy dark blonde hair and when I first came to him, my hair was severely damaged (due to a bad coloring job prior)...he was able to save my hair and get it back to being healthy, bouncy and normal. I call him the hair wizard because he knows exactly what to do with your hair without going overboard. Everyone who sees him walks out with a smile. He does what’s best for your hair every time! He specializes in blondes and balayage
I wouldn’t advise anyone to do a keratin treatment at this place. Literally it will go away after 1 month, after they said it will stay for a minimum of 3 months. This is not the first time that I do a keratin treatment and I know how long it will last. Paying 200$ for something that will go away after 1 MONTH is a waste. I mean what’s the purpose if it will make your life easier for a really really short period of time. Sorry but I would Def NOT RECOMMEND it for anyone. There are other places where you would pay more and at least you would get something decent!! I called them and they simply said if you come back after 2 weeks we would do something about it. I mean is 2 weeks enough for anyone to know if this thing is going to last! Really!!
Amazing salon. I have been getting my haircut at Studio34 on 34th street for over 4 years. This salon is extremely nice and closer to me. They do a wonderful job, the stylists are all very talented and they listen to you and ensure they do exactly what you want. Pricing always reasonable as well. A++
GARRY!!!!!!!!! I LOVE THIS GUY!!!! I did walk-in couple of weeks ago but this guy is FUNNY! HE TOOK ME AS A WALKIN IN EVEN THOUGH HE HAD A BUSY SCHEDULE. He did an amazing job.

I have been coming here for years now even though I live downtown because of the excellent service they provide. They actually LISTEN!! Unlike other places where you walk out wanting a trim and end up getting a huge cut. It feels like a family and they always put the customer first - can’t recommend them enough!

I LOVE this place!!!! Seriously I haven’t written a review in looong time but I had to for this place. I have difficult hair it’s very curly and thick and lots of it. I have gotten balayage, Brazilian Blow Out, cut and each service I’ve gotten has been done to the highest standards and I always walk out feeling and looking gorgeous. You won’t regret coming here! Everyone is super good at what they do!

2022-07-28Very rude and unwelcoming. Shorter dark haired man will talk over you and not listen to what you have to say. Receptionist looks like she hates her job.I spent lots of $$$ on my hair but my stylist is far, so this salon could’ve made a lot off of me if I switched over to them, if it wasn’t for extremely poor customer service.

He answered all of my questions and helped me find what is best for my hair type. 2019-11-11I’ve been going to Tyger for 7 years now and there’s seriously no one better. Everyone at Studio 34 is super nice and accommodating, but Tyger is definitely the best. Today he brought my hair back to life after close to 2 years of neglect and I couldn’t be happier!

The level of service here is outstanding and staff are kind, extremely knowledgeable, and accommodating. The stylists provide an expert level of care and touch to your hair and always listen to what you want while simultaneously prioritizing the health of your hair. I do not trust anyone else with my hair and know that I can rely on this salon to deliver the best and most beautiful results. Don’t hesitate to come here, you will not be disappointed!

If anyone happens to go there trust me you won’t regret it.But ofcourse it’s always best if you make an appointment because they are always busy.

2020-02-06I moved to the city a year ago and randomly walked into Studio 34 across the street from my apartment...best move I ever made...I found the most spectacular shop! There I met Kemal, the best colorist I’ve ever used, and he gave me an amazing haircut as well. It’s rare to find a professional that can do it all. Lana is another wonderful stylist, talented, warm and very caring. The shop is run by a fabulous manager,Tyger. They go out of their way to accommodate any of your scheduling and any service you may need. You must check them out!

2021-05-14If I could give more than 5 stars I would, I am so impressed and happy with how my hair turned out. Camilo is AMAZING. I showed him what I wanted and he made it happen- full foil highlights, long layers, and curtain bangs. My hair has never looked so good, I am so happy! Thank you Camilo, I will be back!!
