Fun but small park on the East River. Even more fun when there are goats.

Very beautiful and calm. Perfect place to run or workout. However the edge is right next to a gas station which ruins the ambience a bit but thats the city. Just walk a little and youre far from it and can enjoy the ocean breeze.

Living in Murray Hill, the northern end of this park served as our entryway for frequent bike trips around Manhattan, serving as a north/south route along the East River. Once you get into Stuy Town area, the paths open up to beautiful fields and plenty of activities on warmer days.As others note, Stuyvesant Cove Parks nice landscaping helps further the separation and tranquility from the FDR and the rest of the city. If youre on foot, there are some really nice meandering paths, but cyclists are limited to the straight and wide path along the waters edge.If you live on the East Side and like to bike, definitely make your way over to Stuyvesant Cove Park!

Great place to start your jogging, from 23rd St up to the rear of CodEd before the 10 St overpass ,then back again works very well. This is were I train myself every summer, most of NYU students do the same here. The river view is very relaxing to watch while running. Both pictures were taken after 10th St FDR facing North towards 15th St NYC Ferry Dock

Stuyvesant Cove Park is a treasure along the East River where one can kick back and take in the view of the East River as it flows from the Bronx all down and through Manhattan--this is just about the start of downtown--and on its was out to sea. Lovely view of the Gowanus Canal--which demarcated Brooklyn and Queens.

My fiancee and I visited FDR to watch the Macys Fouth of July fireworks, were seated with people from Alabama, Tulsa Oklahoma, France and Sweden, what interesting conversations. The fireworks were AWESOME! ! Everyone was orderly, the police and other safety agents we on point and I commended them for their efforts in protecting our safety, cant wait for next year 😊😊

With plenty of chill choices for New York City locals and tourist to choose from. The well maintained and breath of fresh air styled Stuyvesant Cove gets a five star rating from yours truly. With the stellar views of the rising sun as it kisses the East River as it does. The grandness of the Edward Koch, Queensboro bridge, in addition to the 34th Street boat basin heliport with copters, planes both landing and taking off. The grand views of the newly resurrected Long Island City and east Brooklyn cityscape. Who could ask for anything more?

Relaxing small area right on the East River at 20th Street. Only three tables, while benches abound all along the walk. A quiet, peaceful area where one can relax.

Great little waterfront park along the East River. Its a nice place to relax. Now on of the locations for the Lower East Side route on NYC ferry.
