Unexpected charges to the tune of $515.No apologies or any kind of empathy for their mistake. I felt very mislead and mistreated when asked for an explanation and no apology from initial contact. I did have a kind person named Teri apologize after l had already lost it with the first contact. Product is great and work was meticulous but like l said felt misled on the charge. So my advice is to make sure they are telling you ALL the information first. Let the buyer beware!!!

I smelled gas next to the water heater in the pool cabana, I called Suburban Propane at 4:30 on a Saturday and a man in a propane truck arrived within 90 minutes. He then performed a diagnostic pressure test, filled our tanks, restarted the pool heater and was on his way by 6:30…. I am very pleased and thankful!

Having no experience with Propane gas before purchasing this home a year+ ago, I can honestly say Suburban Propane has been terrific. They send out service to inspect our system and took the time to educate us. The billing seemed confusing to us since we inherited a budget plan from the previous owner. Again, the office personnel was patient and thorough in their tutorial. The service is ALWAYS on time too! I recommend Suburban highly. Other companies might cost less on the front end, but the value, service and courtesy is well worth the extra $ difference! Its unfortunate but good service and quality products are harder to find these days. You can count on Suburban Propane!

My experiences with the Albany Suburban Propane office began when they purchased my previous provider decades ago. Initially I was skeptical of the big company taking over my account and how it would impact my experience. To this day I have never been disappointed with how I have been treated or the service I received from the staff at the Albany office. They have always been extremely helpful and caring and I hold them in high regard. Today, Darren Eckler set the bar even higher. His attention to assuring my satisfaction was extraordinary. He made me feel like I was important as a customer and a person. I felt he extended himself well beyond my expectations. I commend him - and his fellow workers.

I liked Bill very nice. I dont like your tank in my flower bed and the visual out the back window. Had those flowers for years and taking my sheetrock bucket and putting over my the gas line. I had meal and worm food in it for my earth worms. The tank should have gone next to the window on the side of the house. Please move it before you fill it. Thank you, JoAnne Simms

Terrible delivery service. I have a three year contract. Automatic delivery, last year, delivered 20 gallons to a 200 gallon tank, of course they charge $15 of assorted fees to deliver. They should have seen how much was in the tank and skipped it. After a few calls, they did at least remove the delivery fee. The first year, I had the tanks/valves freeze and was without heat for time. This year I was on will call to deliver. I called as the tank was getting low and they said they need 7 days and would be there by the next Friday, when I called mid day to find out if they were on the way, I told them I was pretty low with the storm coming. I was told I was on Mondays schedule. Of course they have no Saturday delivery unless you pay $200 extra. This is heating season, I see plenty of other companies doing delivery on Saturday. Sure enough, I ran out of propane over the weekend.Although they give you a good price to sign up, they are not the best price in the following years. The office people are very nice, the actual delivery people are nice, but delivery management, which is pretty important in getting propane when you heat with it, does not have good customer service or planning. And it wasnt just one time for me.I would not recommend them, there are plenty of other providers.

I started new with them last year, they were supposed to be here at 2pm, never came till 7pm , put 20 gallons in , couldn’t get the furnace lit, told me it would be 400 to fix, my husband then fixed it with a $13 part, I was told my fuel would be here in 3 days took 2 weeks!!! Then I called to have a delivery this year, my gage said 10 gallons, was told one price so I paid it, got a call back saying I needed more money!!! They filled my tanks, unhooked & plugged my lines !!! I call & they tell me it’s $ 108 because my tanks were empty & I’m supposed to call when I’m at 30 gallons, first time hearing this I say, no money they aren’t hooking it back up so I paid it!!! Absolutely horrible service , no communication, very rude, I’m paying for there valves being wrong

Its been over three months since I initially contacted Suburban to fill my tanks. Finally, after jumping through a multitude of hoops, I was able to pay you over $400 to have my tank filled sometime within the next 7 days. That was 7 days ago. Still no propane.

The last time I talked to someone about an issue was last year. The man on the phone was kinda rude. I called because I was concerned that my gas usage seemed higher and that I had smelled gas around thank. The man that came was great and said that sometimes there is a trace around the tank and also checked the connections, as there have been times where he needed to tighten the fittings. All went well and a was happy. It been great so far.

Their prices are significantly higher than anyone else. They started reasonable and then moved up month by month. I just moved to a company that is 40% cheaper and guarantees to be no more than x% over the wholesale price. Do not accept their 3 year term, or youll incur an early termination fee. Finally, when they came to get their tanks, they said that there was no propane remaining. Im sure there was very little, but I still had heat and hot water, so there must have been something, but they apparently think I wont go after them for a few dollars. So they just confirmed to me that I will not be returning, regardless of how this next company works out.
