This Subway location is one of the worst Ive ever been to. If you go inside, they will make your sub properly. DO NOT go to the drive-thru. Your sub will not be as you ordered it, even after they ask you 2 or 3 times about condiments, cheese, and toasting. Its full of high schoolers who are extremely rude and dont care about anything.
I know it’s my fault for continuing to go back, but I almost never have a good experience at the Subway in Owego. They could really take some tips from the awesome one in Vestal. Latest experience out of 4 times this month. They KNEW the speaker was broken for the drive-thru...no sign at all. Waited 5 minutes and pulled up to the window. Then messed up my order again. And the wheat bread is usually the soft one...it was like a crusty kaiser roll.
This was my first time going to this subway and I dont plan on going again.First, I tried using the drive thru they have but no one greeted me at it, so I parked and went in instead. Then when I went in, I had yo wait 5 minutes when there were no other customers there. One of the girls was taking p8ctures of the menus with her phone. Whatever, maybe she was asked to but I didnt even get a hello, Ill be right with you. When she was done she just walked out back and another girl came out. It took 3 times to tell her what bread I wanted because she just wasnt paying attention, or was hard of hearing. She did half then went out back again and other girl took over, making my sub more sloppy than I have ever seen it done before. You can tell these people dont really care about the customers, just there going through the motions til they get to leave.
I requested a gluten free roll because I am gluten intolerant; 2 different Subway workers handled making my sub an neither changed their gloves from making previous gluten subs...of which I am paying for now with severe stomach pains, headache, and other stuff Ill spare the details. This is the second time this has happened at this location...1st time I requested worker to please change her gloves which she did after giving me major attitude as a result of my request. Any other Subway I go to in Vestal, Apalachin, or Binghamton I havent ever had to ask the Subway worker to change gloves, they automatically just do it.
One of the employees was standing behind the counter with gloves on eating cheese and then more customers came in as she was finishing up her food. She then didnt change her gloves and began serving customers after she ate with that gloved hand. I believe thats against health code.
We were at the place on the way to NJ and they refuse to toast the bread and give us veggie patty because it was only 15 minuets left for them to close. We were going to buy 5 footlong and the girl said no chicken teriyaki left, she can’t toast the bread and veggie patty because she doesn’t want to turn the toaster on now. There was another employee eating his dinner on the table and when we were about to leave they started looking at each other and started smiling. Worst subway customer service ever!!

2021-10-27Website is very confusing I signed in a long time ago now they dont have me in their files. So if it has been a while since youve been on dont be surprised if ask you to start a new account which I wont do. So I went to Owego NY and bought my Subs. the servers did not where masks and they kept saying what as if not being able to hear me because I did have a mask on . I definitely will not be returning to this place again.

2021-06-25I went to this Subway with my cousins. We got three subs, they were wrapped without a sticker and there was food all throughout the wrapper. Our subs were also cold even though we got them toasted, the bacon was slightly undercooked. The girl who made our subs was sort of rude as well and neither of the two employees greeted us when we walked into the restaurant. There was water on the floor and no caution sign, so I’m sure they were happy we didn’t fall. The bubbler was torn apart as well, so it’s a good thing we didn’t want tea. Needless to say I’m not very impressed with this subway. 10/10 don’t recommend.

2021-08-05Havent been in a while, so decided to try it once again regrettably, should trust your instinct. Almost $10 for a 6 turkey sub if thats what you would call the measly thing, no napkins, they forgot my chips, place is a joke! Instead of their catch fraise being Eat Fresh should be Eat RUBISH Im not kidding, do your self a favor and drive past!

2020-09-22Store full of customers (25 minute wait type of full) and the staff of 2 guys is prioritizing online pick up orders. Not impressed.Edit: Against my better judgement went back to this location as I had a coupon. Despite the chicken bacon ranch melt being on the menu they now claim they cant make it and never have....I just ate it a week ago

2020-01-042 young guys in there, in the evenings when Ive been in lately. They made the whole experience a great one. Very personable and pleasant.I must say my last visit was a bit frustrating. Im used to there being no lemonade when i come in, but when i was told theres a $2 upcharge for garlic butter(?!?!?!?!), and there were no green peppers (i only get green peppers and onions on my steak and cheese sub) when the subs were already half made- i was very disappointed and i wanted to cancel my order, but didnt.... seems like they could do better....

2020-05-22Very disappointed. Bread was hard as a brick and the condiments were applied so heavily that they dripped off all over the place. My husband held his sandwich up and the mayo ran right out of the end of the sub because it was applied so heavily. We normally love subway, but this was very disappointing. And due to Covid -19 we had to use the drive-thru and were unable to see how the sandwiches were made.
