My son went to camp at the farm and had an amazing experience. The kids work and care for the animals with their counselors. The do science and educational programs, so much fun the kids dont realize they are learning! Everyday is a great day here. We also come for many of the events they have at the farm, always good
Its a great place to go with all the family. My kids had a lot of fun feeding the animals running getting on the tractors. The view is great specially it will give you a sense of peace and quiet something that city people needs ones in a while. To enter the farm is free but you pay $3 dollars if you want to feed the animals. The staff is nice, restroom super clean you wont regret visiting this farm. They dont sale food at the farm but they will provide table if you bring.
This place is amazing! I take my toddler and baby here during the week and there is never anyone here. It is a gem. And it is truely a farm, so dont go there thinking youre not going to smell some nasty stuff. Animals are all kept well, they will come close to you. I, personally, dont touch them, just because theyre not used to ME, but those that work with them. There is also a nice play area for the kids as well as a garden and the bathrooms are always clean when we go.
We had the best time at the Suffolk County Farm yesterday!!We went for a special event - a wreath-making class. It was great fun! The instructors were friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. They supplied the wire ring and the greens. We brought our own decorations.Even when theres nothing special happening its still worth going to see the animals. We saw bunnies, pigs, horses, donkeys, and cows. The cows were like big dogs - they came right over looking for treats. They are really just gentle giants. Beautiful! If you live in Suffolk you should visit. If you live in Nassau, its worth the drive. Two thumbs up!! We will be returning!! :-)
Goat yoga was not worth the money. Staff did not provide goat food to us or allow opportunities to take pictures with the goats. The instructor did extreme positions when the experience is to interact with the goats. I do not think the staff was friendly nor useful- no hand sanitizer or wipes were provided. The website and email did not say to bring yoga mats and NONE were available upon arrival. Would NEVER do this again- extremely overhyped. Save your money!!! I recommend going to the Bronx Zoo immersive experience instead.
If you are looking for affordable activities for your kids, check out the Suffolk County Farm! The farm has a variety of programs for children of all ages that have little to no fee. Kids will get a kick out of seeing cows, goats, sheep, pigs, horses, and more! Beware, this is a working farm so it is stinky and muddy! Do not wear your Sunday best here. Not to miss events include Baby Animal Day and their seasonal scavenger hunts. The staff are super friendly and will answer any and all questions you have. If you will be staying for an extended period of time, remember to bring your lunch so you can eat it in the picnic area.
Nicole Fiorentino is by far the most incompetent person that we have ever been in contact with. Have been in contact with her for over 3 weeks for a birthday party and lied to us saying that she was the only one that could help us and clearly didn’t tell us about her staff that was able to help us and doesn’t have... AVOID THIS PLACE GO ELSEWHERE

2022-01-24Beautiful farm, I love it here. I come often, and you should too. The lady at the sign-in was so kind and friendly and sweet. They have a big pen with horses and your can walk to the back of it to see the goats and feed them, they are such cute goats. They also have beautiful white fluffy sheep along with cute horses wearing jackets for the winter. The pigs are so adorable and even have piglets! There are fluffy bunnies, and cows as well. Make sure you purchase feeding for the goats and sheep when you come here or you are missing out. Love this place so much I will continue to come here thank you guys for everything you do.
