Great venue to see a show! Seen a few bands the sound engineer needs work. Seen The machine for the 3rd time and this past time was extremely loud it was distorted and could not hear vocals. Previous experience was awesome. Good food good cocktails. Little overpriced 2 glasses of your standard wine 28$. Great atmosphere and love the old time vibe
Beautiful old school theater with great acoustics for great shows. The food and drinks are pathetic.The food - overpriced and cheap in quality. Some say it’s new ownership. The food before the virus came along was delicious with great drinks. Now, eat before you get there, management doesn’t care about delivering something delicious. The food selections were VERY few.The two mixed drinks we ordered,Margherita and Long Island ice tea, were diluted flavored sweet mix. At 12+ dollars each, I’m sure they could afford to serve real alcohol.No we did not complain when we saw The Machine play there yesterday. It’s not about the money, it’s about management can do better, much better.

What a GREAT place for a concert! Saw Lee Rocker from the Stray Cats and he was FANTASTIC! The Suffolk Theater used to be a movie theater from the 30s but closed in the 90s. Now its reopened and kept like a 1930s show place. The shows have Dinner seating with 4 people at each table. The wait staff is attentive and polite. Throughout the show they never got in the way. Menu was small but good items to choose from. Prices were fair & the drinks were also a fair price. There is also a balcony section if you dont want a table. Show prices are very affordable and they even have cover bands for $15 a show. Check thier website. Its the only place to get tickets.
I dont know where to begin to describe how absolutely beautiful my daughters wedding was. It was everything she had hoped for x 100. From the moment my daughter Sam saw the venue she knew it was what she wanted, but nothing could prepare her for the way it actually turned out, breathtaking. Kristen is an amazing person. She is super organized, super professional and does not miss ONE beat. She is the conductor in the symphony. With her you do not need to worry about anything. She listens to everything you say and will create the magic you dream of and then some. We will be forever grateful to her and the staff for their dedication and hard work. We miss her already! Jamie and his production team are top notch and can handle anything you ask. The bartenders and wait staff are fantastic! They were extremely attentive to everyone. Special note about Jennifer, she was an absolute love, super sweet, kind, attentive, all around just Great. Our guests could not stop complimenting the food (thank you Noah!!!!), the drinks, the staff, the service, the venue....My baby girls wedding was beyond INCREDIBLE thanks to this wonderful team of great people. I really enjoy the Suffolk Theater. Its clean and well maintained. They have pretty good acts although Id like to see them get some Country music in there. The food is good and the drinks are reasonably priced.

This is such a beautifully restored theater. We did not opt for tickets at a table where food and drinks were available, we were 5 rows from the stage. It was a great time. We will definitely return for other shows.

We saw Suzanne Vega. I like the fact that they checked vaccination status. I might not have gone otherwise. It looked like they may have reduced capacity as well. We just had drinks, no food, but the food looked good, and the service was good too. Good acts in a small venue tend to be expensive, but this makes for a nice occasional treat.
Fabulous staff, very accommodating for handicapped access to seating. Highly recommend. No elevator access to keep restored original building.

Food is NOT good and Overpriced. AND STAFF DOESNT WEAR MASKS!!!! Customers have to show proof of vaccination but the staff- who goes from person to person to person do not !! I wont go again until COVID is 100% done. Disappointed

My husband and I were married here in the fall and we could not have been happier with the whole experience! Kristen was attentive, organized and so helpful from the start, she knew what we needed, when we needed it and always kept us on task. Noah’s food was the best compliment to the gorgeous setting. The moment I stepped foot in the theater I knew this was the right place for us. We are movie lovers and the fact that we were able to showcase our interests with every detail was not lost on us or any of our guests! From the moment we and our guests arrived on site, with epic movie scores playing under a marquee with our names on it, we were blown away! Nearly 5 months later we are still flying high, and still receiving endless compliments on the whole evening. We wish we could have our wedding every year! Well worth the time, effort and expense to have such a unique space to ourselves for the most important day of our lives!

Our wedding in May 2019 was truly an unforgettable evening that was only possible due to the hard work of Kristen and the amazing staff at the Suffolk Theater. They were so organized and easy to work with that we didnt even need a wedding planner. The venue is stunning and made our wedding such a unique experience. We do not have one single regret down to the last detail, all of which were executed to perfection. Even our name in lights outside the theater greeting our guests was such a cool touch. If you plan to have a band, the theater is ideal and sounds beyond great. The food was catered by Noahs in Greenport and was delicious. We had a tasting weeks before to nail down the menu. Everything, and I mean everything was top notch!
New Year’s event was the worst I’ve ever seen, DJ was sad no motivation did not get the crowd involved, love the theater I’m a loyalist but was highly disappointed.
Ballet recital was held here it was enjoyable.
If i can leave no stars i would they are requiring you are vaccinated to enterthis is a violation of the constitution of the united states.also a violation of my civil rights and right to freedom of religion.and there is more see the vaccine is not been approved by the FDA for use only for emergency use only and there is no state of emergency that was decaled in the state of new york and a lawyer has been in contact and they will be sued this is a disgrace there are freedoms that cant be taken away. there has been deaths and series reactions that has beendocumented and there has been death as well so its should be a chosseif i want to risk this. but you can subject your self to a test with alsothe FDA has came out and said the test are faulty and should NOT be used to test for covip 19 this is all there for all to see.......
If you are looking for a venue for your wedding day do yourself a favor and look into the Suffolk Theater. I married my husband here on 9/7/19 and that day was beyond perfect. One of the main reasons for the days perfection was the staff at the Suffolk Theater. Kristen’s organized ingenuity made the day run seamlessly! During all the months planning our special day, the theater staff was the most accommodating, caring, attentive people and it was a pleasure working with them all. I had a vision for my wedding day and the production team brought it to life. Our guests complimented the production quality, the wait staff/bartenders and the food! OMG the food! Chef Noah absolutely blew us out of the water with his assorted cocktail hour menu, his dinner entrees and the pass around desserts. If I had to do the day all over again (and I wish I could!) I wouldn’t change a thing. Because of the Suffolk Theater, I was able to have my dream wedding.

Went a here a few years ago with my boyfriend for our anniversary. We saw Chubby Checker preform live. The theater is beautiful and the dinner there was delicious. Would highly recommend Suffolk Theater as a romantic date with you and your significant other. A bit on the pricier side but, definitely worth it! Absolutely loved it!
I went to the steel city studs male review show this past Saturday here at the Suffolk theater, and felt inspired to leave a review and some of my thoughts. First of all the venue is very large and elegantly styled. Cover charge for the show was more than worth the value of the entertainment of the night. Food and drinks were generally above-average however they were on the pricey side. Having never been to a male review show me and my girlfriends did not know what to expect but can honestly say it exceeded any ideas we had and was a great time. Without giving away too many specifics especially for those who have not yet seen the show ( but hopefully will in the future), it was styled in a way that there were choreographed acts and dancing, mixed with just the right amount of personal attention from the dancers throughout the crowd. There were specialty dances performed for those wishing to be more involved in the act, or for a friend who needed a great time and really enhanced the show itself. The dancers were obviously well trained in great shape and also a mix of sizes and backgrounds. Anyone looking at their webpage for the advertisements definitely will agree that the quality of the dancers is second to none. All the performers were available afterwords for pictures in groups or solo if preferred. Me and my group had a blast and would definitely go again. Hopefully the act returns soon because knowing the quality of the show now Im sure many more of our friends will join us next time. I would give it my highest rating and recommendation possible.
This is a beautiful theater. Much like those of old. Dinner, drinks, show. The attention to detail is second to none! The wood work and ornamental decorations are first class. When you arrive you are in for a treat. Plenty of free parking directly behind the theater. Super clean rest rooms. Both floor and balcony seating. No bad seat in the house.Go ahead. Get dressed up for a night on the town! And affordable too!
Had an awesome time at a BeeGees Tribute. The Theater was renovated beautifully with all seats having good views. We took advantage of a pre fix dinner and had outstanding service by Michelle. She had many tables but balanced everyone and kept us fed and well hydrated. Thanks for a wonderful experience. Enjoy!

We just got married here November 9, 2019. As soon as we walked into The Suffolk Theatre, we both knew that was where we were going to get married. Being theatre industry professionals ourselves, we had a specific vibe we wanted for our wedding and this place could not have been more perfect. Not only was the classic and unique aesthetic exactly right for the romantic and whimsical wedding we were planning, but the staff and technicians working with us this last year run as tight if a ship as any theatre we have ever worked for.Our venue coordinator, Kristen, is even more organized than even my own type-A little heart. You are in good hands with her running your “show.” She is thorough, detailed, and truly gave us the sense that she was just as invested in the success of the day as we were. We’re still fielding comments from our bridal party about just how stellar Kristen was and how she managed to make one of the most stressful days of our lives flow so smoothly. Kristen is a multi-tasking, organized, accessible, sweet, and professional all-star.The food was incredible and we are still hearing from guests about the amazing desserts and hors d’ouvers.Book this venue. Seriously. From start to finish, we never doubted if we had made the right choice.
Absolutely enjoyed seeing Jefferson Starship, originally know as Jefferson Airplane! The staff at the theater was extremely helpful and friendly and the food along with having our own table in the balcony section was terrific! Great experience for my wife, her son, and myself! We will return in the near future for other concerts. Thank you!

Great place for a local night out! Finally updated the menu. Affordable shows. Very friendly staff. Weve seen several shows here. A few were lousy (Jefferson Starship was HORRIBLE) but some are great ( Art Garfunkel was AMAZING) but I guess thats the performers fault, not the theater. Just saw Mamma Mia and really enjoyed it.
I loved my night with my girls at the theater and the male strip show! We had decided to see the male revue show this weekend and what a great time we had. Oh it was wonderful, we enjoyed such a lovely dinner first in the beauty of this greatly renovated decor surrounding us.Then there was a special guest comedian who started all the fun. Oh he kept us laughing the whole way through. Then when the male dancers came out it was so much they had the coolest acts, with all their sexy little routines in, i fancied the cowboy! I thought that was a really neat dance. I asked one of them if hed teach when they came around, and he joked with me. The male strippers were all such just nice gentlemen and are all smiles and laughs. Far exceeding my expectations. I didnt know what to expect really, but I felt safe going to a theater to see my first one, and that was a good move id say. I think I might even bring my mother here to the next one! It was great fun!
Beautifully renovated 1920s theater. Been to one of their murder mystery dinner theater, number of concerts and stand up acts. Wait staff is pleasant and attentive. Food selection is nice and varied and great. Look forward to many more visits.

This is a wonderfully renovated theater from the 1930s that hosts concerts, weddings, etc. There’s tiered table seating and there is not a bad seat in the house. You can snack or have a full dinner prior to a show. The drink menu is creative...overall a terrific experience. We will be going back!
This historic landmark is unbelievable. The care and attention to the restoration of this art deco treasure was faithfully restored with the utmost care. Honestly you feel as if you stepped back in time to the 1940s. They replaced the movie seatinf with an array of cocktail tables, and it feels a lot like an art deco nightclub. The sound during concerts is robust, and they are in the process of upgrading the sound system right now. A great place to see many of the live acts that tour through, but a magical place to host an event too!

Went their for New years Eve. Had a great time. Food was good and the comedy show was very funny. After the show they had a DJ and dancing. A lot of fun! Will definitely go back.
Concert was awesome, Amber Ferrari is an unbelievable performer. But the theater - service was S L O W. We sat down at our table and watched our waitress walk by for 20 minutes before she asked if we wanted anything. Every item we requested, they had run out and she told us the kitchen is backed up so bear with U.S. Mind you this was 30 minutes before Showtime!! We finally just ordered a bottle of wine (surprisingly they had our favorite wine which is hard to find thats a +)When the bill came for our $38 btl of wine the suggested gratuity was $8.40! Nope all she did was bring the wine open the bottle and pour the first glass.Why we are so disappointed is the theater knew how many tickets they sold and this is not their first rodeo, so they should have had more staff and a better stocked kitchen.
The show was awesome. The food not up to par and the prices were crazy. Ten dollars for a prezel. The waitress was rude and the manager was even worse. The waitress yelled at me cause she was not happy with her tip. A tip is based on service which we rude and not up to par. 40 minutes to wait for a glass of water. Management could care less when advised of their staffs poor performance. The manger stated theirs nothing I can do.
We attended two events at the Suffolk Theater!! Both times we had an AMAZING time!!! The food was soooo delicious (I had the salmon, my husband had the short ribs)!!! The staff were very nice and polite and the set up of the place is absolutely beautiful like an old time supper club!!! I would recommend this place to family and friends!!!!

Each show we have attended there has been very nice. Last nights show was fantastic!!!! Justin Shandor did a beautiful tribute to Elvis, as well as to our country! My family and I loved every minute of it.The theater itself is beautiful. The atmosphere is great!So, why only give it a rating of a 3? Every part of the food experience, (except for our kind waiter), was AWFUL. The wait staff stood in front of us s for much of the show. They need to learn to bend down when taking orders. They did not even attempt to get out of the viewers way, when they took orders, brought food, or collected money. They need to be taught how to be a server at a show. I wonder what great things were missed by being blocked.Seven dollars is a ridiculous price to charge for a small pretzle.The steak sandwich was not streak at all . It was sliced roast beef. It was too disgusting to even look at. To be kind my husband traded his chicken sandwich with me so I could have something to eat.The chicken in the sandwich is barely enough to feed a small child . Though it was edible, it was not nearly worth the price charged. The quality was poor to fair, and the flavor was bland. I ate it because I had nothing else to eat.We will absolutely go back for a show, however, we will NEVER eat a meal there again, unless we are told there were some serious changes.

Seen a few shows here. Nice, restored, intimate venue. No bad seats. Food is so-so.(Hence 4stars). Places to go eat out beforehand close by.If I have any complaint at all, it is that they have a tendency to keep repeating the same acts. I wish they would stretch it out a little bit. There are plenty of name acts that are perfect for the venue.

This is a wonderfully restored theatre trying very hard to put on shows that appeal to locals and visitors. Limited menu but quite good. Needs to add variety to menu every few weeks. I have visited several times and have not been disappointed.

Beautiful venue. I wish better acts/musicians were booker there. Seems to cater to the baby boomers mostly. Last i checked, xers and millenials had enogh disposable income and desire to see live acts at local unique venues. Hint hint.

Well renovated 1930s art deco movie theater, now a venue for a variety of performances, with mostly cabaret seating. You can have dinner in the theater before a show, and its okay, but you might be happier to have dinner first at The Riverhead Project down the street.
Faboulous to have somewhere to go in winter on eastend..charming but wish they venue catered to a bit younger crowd. Overcrowded. Wearing my winter hat most of night.
The $25.00 lobster roll was scraps. The pork chop was miniature. Ive had several sub pare servings through out many concerts.
I love this old theater, and now were seeing more original bands, rather than tribute bands. I will attend only shows of original artists. The alternative is wbpa at which many of the clientele are too snooty for me.

Beautifully renovated theater back to its glorious original state. Great ecoustics.
If there is an act performing at this venue that I like, I wouldnt hesitate returning here.

2022-04-02Amazing show, this band is on fire and the horn section is blowing it out. Powerful from the first note to the last. Energetic and fun. From old to new even the power ballads. With the absence of Scott and Ryan their brothers talent shined strong. The vocals were spot on and the drumming rocked the house powerful and engaging. Totally enjoyed the show. Highly recommend adding Beginings to the bucket list. Mad it took me this long to see them live. While you have out your bucket list add the Suffolk theater. It is the perfect place to see a show. Its clean staffs friendly felt like I was back in the 70s, amazing venue. Great night of music.

2022-04-02My new favorite place to see a show. Love that you are able to sit at a small table and order drinks and snacks. Originally opened in 1933 this theater has been restored beautifully and is magnificent. Amazing history and a gem for Long Island.

2022-03-01For now, the theater is following New Yorks Covid guidelines and checking ids and vaccination cards or a negative test. When I requested a refund for my friends ticket the Theater credited my account without hesitation. The staff were friendly and the show was great. The space, stage and lighting is perfect for live performances.

2021-12-07Most welcoming staff! They went above and beyond to accommodate getting my wheel-chair-bound family member down front to our table and back up to the handicapped rest room with a portable ramp several times during the night always with a smile. Very caring staff. The New Millennium Jazz Band was awesome. Me, my husband and my father-in- law thoroughly enjoyed the music and watching couples on the dance floor. Wonderful evening!

2018-08-07Great venue for concerts, comedy shows and all sorts of entertainment. Beautifully restored early 1900s theatre. Full service bar and interesting menu of hot appetizers and snacks along with table service even during the show. The entertainment ranges from amateur to well seasoned professional performers. 2019-07-18Unique Space with Great staff and amazing flow. The flip from ceremony, to cocktail to reception was seamless and perfect and the once in a lifetime experience for guest was amazing. Detail points for the use of bride and grooms photo in the advertisements in the lobby. Would definitely recommend.
