Contacted this company as they were local and had good reviews. Estimate was completed and I was told I would receive an email containing quote. After a week, I contacted them and was told - just wait - it will be coming in a couple days. Well, a couple days turned into over a month and nothing. ☹️☹️

Eddie’s work is excellent. He helped replacing the whole roof. Thank you to Lorraine and Eddie. My family all love the new roof! Definitely will recommend them to other friends!

It is without hesitation or reservation that I strongly recommend Summit Remodeling to anyone looking for a reliable, honest, excellent contractor. The owners, Jen and Lorraine, and the project manager, Toni, are always accessible and hear what their clients want. Their crews are tops in their crafts and are perfectionists in performance. If something is not to their clients specifications, they gladly redo it without a problem. I have used Summit twice; once to convert my garage into a room and once to remodel my kitchen, paint and install a floor. I could not be happier. All of the other contractors I have used over the past 28 years pale in comparison to Summit. I highly recommend this company!

First off I would start off by saying Always do your research look at reviews, pics and ask around first, get at least three quotes, agree to progress payment and don’t pay for something you didn’t ask for. Make sure you do your homework.Thomas/ Tom was the GC on site however quite often the other workers were left unaware of key elements required. They allowed for progress payments which was great, however the finishing touches of the job was sloppy. Baseboard of cabinets weren’t secured, light switches were installed upside down. Debris left in light fixtures so with every time you turned on the switch you would see the debris left behind. Cabinets were hung low and the molding to take it to the roof was not completed. Plumber placed a hole through the sheet rock for the exhaust and ran it in the middle of the basement living area justification “thought you were going to redo your basement anyway”.I asked for a bathroom with a cut out for bath soap etc and it was not done instead I was told there wasn’t enough room when he finally admitted they forgot to put it in. I can on and on about this project but I’ll stop.To the eye it looks Ok if you’re not a stickler for perfection or don’t care for clean finishes but it’s a bandaid and as you live with the items that were supposedly just remodeled the overall cost and headache won’t be worth it. I would recommend going with Another contractor. Good guy in the grand scheme of things but his poor supervision of subcontractors, lack of professionalism isn’t worth the headache. Handyman or one room quality not recommended for a major two family remodel.

My husband Steve and I recently hired Summit Remodeling for a complete kitchen and dining room renovation and could not be happier with the results. We were immediately put at ease during our first meeting with the owner Lorraine whom we both liked from the moment we met. She listened to our plans for our small kitchen and gave us some really creative ideas on how to best maximize the space. Everyone involved in our renovations were so professional and just really nice people. Tom designed the perfect kitchen for our home and Jen was so easy to work with . Bart and Jose are absolutely the best at what they do. I have to admit that upon the completion of the renovations I sat in our new kitchen at our beautiful new island and cried in amazement that this was our home. Anyone who comes in our beautiful home is in awe of the outstanding work that Bart and Jose did. We cant thank them enough for the way they made our dream home come true.

We hired Summit remodeling to do a full dormer with a bathroom on our house in Wantagh and we could not be more satisfied with the workmanship, communication, and professionalism. we would highly recommend this company to anyone looking to remodel.
