Disappointing. Portions were meh, quality not up to what it is in the Kings Highway Bklyn location. Buy a guacamole sandwich for $18.00 and get charged $1.00 for some slices of tomatoes ? Buy an Israeli salad and find it’s been sitting with chopped pickles for so long the cucumbers are soaked with brine and soft - no longer crunchy & the 3 scoops of feta (like dust), tuna (fine like cat food) & guacamole (sitting too long that it is brownish). Last visit for me.
Very friendly staff and a nice space. menu had lots of options. the food was good but not great. nothing really stood out and a few items were a bit bland

Ive been here several times and each was great, but this time I got the fish and chips which did not live up to my expectations. My beverage, the sunflower coffee freezer was delicious, though. Overall a great restaurant, but it misses occasionally.

Super fantastic, services great, food is fresh, sunflower salmon steak is honestly the best salmon Ive ever had anywhere. Super secret tip from a long time frequenter, if you order the sunflower salmon steak and you are really hungry or have another person with you they will add an extra piece for a small additional fee, almost doubling the size of the dish.Now thats what I call value!

Cool name, some good food options and actually pretty large sized portions are given.Food wasnt bland but neither was it bursting with flavor.Resturant is pretty clean looking but somewhat crowded.I would go again and try some other dishes to taste something new.The place was good and we were happy with the service.
We came to this place for a meeting. my friend recommended this spot. Well, it was very nice. the crew were so friendly and we had an excellent feeling. The meal was fresh and delicious. We had a great time and we will definitely return to this restaurant. Keep it up.

They have Amazing Staff and amazing service. The food is always amazing. Its consistently delicious and perfect! best milkshakes in town...try it, ask for a strawberry milkshake extra thick! and most importantly if someone wants to share your milkshake say no!get them their own..otherwise when you have that last yummy slurp you will realize you really wanted just a bit more ;) Very family and party friendly.

As soon as we came in, we were greeted by the proprietor, who was most courteous and friendly. Moreover, the ambience had a calming effect with sconce lamps of variegated colors. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our time with sumptuous desserts and tea carafes.
Great food, and tasty desert, I recommend the salmon fettuccine with Alfredo, although the service could be better. 4/5 starts for that reason

Very nice and clean. Vibrant colors and the staff was nice also. The food took a little time but there portions were great and it was delicious. Good menu to choose from and it was a friendly setting.
Two days ago was the first time we visited this good restaurant. But It is obviously not the last. We enjoyed the evening very much with the generous service, with the high quality meal and fine drinks and with the comfortable charge. We will absolutely come back again.
Nothing mind blowing and prices could be better. Came in to have lunch. Shared some salads with my wife, had an onion soup. $16 for a salad when other places here offer it for $7 forces you to consider how awesome it should be. I guess its as good as dairy salad can get. I like the ambiance and location.

Had the greatest raw tuna pizza and very reasonably priced. Best value on the menu! Tuna tartar not tartar, but cubed. Excellent, any way and also a great value.
If youre on a layover at JFK, this is the place to go. 10 minute Uber from the airport, and youre at your home away from home. Great food, great service, welcoming atmosphere and a place to unwind while you wait for the next part of your trip. I want to thank the staff for their welcoming attitude and amazing hospitality - a gem of an experience!
My family and I have been going to sunflower cafe for years. The service is excellent and the food is great at a reasonable cost for local cafes. Would definitely recommend.

This is a great cafe. They are kosher dairy, so there is no meat served here. Their food is Israeli/ Mediterranean style. Theyre open late at night, their staff is very friendly. Warm environment. Highly recommend!
Didn’t like the food, but that is just an opinion of mine. Service was pretty good, food came out pretty fast. Kind of expensive though, definitely not a place to eat at more than once a week.

What a disappointment. I used to love this place but after tonight, I dont see myself going back. I always get accommodated and walked in requesting a table for 9. The guy said it will take 10-15 minutes. He told me to wait outside. A few minutes later 2 tables left and another was leaving. I was waiting in the cold , and pregnant so I walked back in asking what was going on there are tables clearing and there is a way to accommodate (like I have seen done be4 in this place) but,was being told to go back out and wait. So I said, im pregnant and cold and staying inside, The guy said I dont look at ur stomach I mean seriously ?!.... anyhow, nasty service tonight! Super disappointed!

First time here. Not impressed. Went to order a bagel with butter an got a bagel with barely any butter on it, not to mention on a cold bagal. Also the person who took my order was very rude. Instead of handing me the receipt he threw it down on the counter as i was going to take it from his hand. Wont be coming back here again.
Good food and decent service but very noisy
We usually enjoy sunflower, but today we had to wait an hour and a half for our food while others who came later got served way before us and the food was just not on par, plus they did nothing to compensate the long wait. Wont be coming back here any time soon.
Consistently burns their paninis and their stuffed potatoes was boiled chunks of Idaho potato with a bit of cheese sprinkled on top. Ordered a choccochino and they didnt put most of the ingredients listed on the menu in the cup. Also asked for a limonana in a to go cup and was ignored yelled at then shoved at by their drinking staff. Not only am I leaving this review but sending a report to the BBB.

Terrible service, ordered and waited for a half hour while others got served. Asked where our food was and was told they forgot about it. Barely an apology. Left unserved with barely a concern by the staff.

Yes it was mothers day BUT. There is no excuse for the placing to many tables in limited space. it created an unsafe/uncompfortable seating situation. The wait for our food was much to long. Then to top it all off they messed up our bill.

2021-11-25Came here pretty early in the morning. There was approximately 4 other couples when we arrived. Our waitress was very kind and knowledgeable. Drinks came first and the food arrived on time. Food was on point 👌! Portions were nice size. They didnt rush us out. Was very nice experience

Food quality is always excellent and consistent whether dining in, ordering directly, or delivered with Uber Eats.Friends love receiving gift cards for special occasions here and enjoy stopping by for lunch or an early dinner.My favorites: mushroom panini, truffle fries, frozen lemonade, and classic New York cheesecake.

2022-06-29This restaurant serves high quality food, its fresh and hot. Everything on their menu is delicious from dairy to vegetarian dishes. The waiters display excellent customer service and are ready to help with orders. They even have an outdoor backyard setting for those who like to eat outside. I recommend to try this restaurant out with friends and family.

2021-12-19We were regular at this restaurant, and by time it becomes worse and worse. Our recent experience was very bad. We decided not to give it another chance. The food was cold, and when we asked to warm it, it came back burned up. Even a simple dish like the French fries was very dry and clearly not fresh very disappointed.There are many kosher places nearby that are much better.

2021-09-29Just ok.Lacking in atmosphere.Coffee blah.Salads drenched in sweet sauces and lacking in other flavors.In general, I found the food to be way over priced for the quality you are given.Now the pizzas...were interesting. Very expensive but even cold (i took an entire pizza as take away) it was very good.The service is very friendly but not very efficient.

2021-05-23Ive been going to sunflower for a while because their food is delicious and Ive never been served a bad meal.Today was no exception, but the reason Im writing this (and I never write reviews) is because of their outstanding customer service.We came in as a party of 7, enjoyed the meal and paid. We were on our way to the car when a staff member chased us down and explained to us that we put down a tip when it was already included on the bill. He wanted to make sure we meant to do that and it wasnt just a mistake (which it was).Such integrity!I will continue to eat here, now not just for the great food, but to support the great people that work there.
