Food was ok, not good, but not bad.Parking was difficult, mostly street parking. The place was busy.We went with friends (6 all together) on a Saturday at 630pm. We didnt have reservations. So we ordered a drink at the bar and waited for a table by the water to free up. After waiting almost 2 hours, we decided to eat inside under the tent. Unfortunately, the evening bugs joined us.Service was good. Menus were dirty. They do have a nice selection of beer.Do not go, unless you have a reservation by the water/lake.

I’ve never been so embarrassed at a restaurant in my entire life. I came with a party of 15, for the first time since the switch from JP Cunningham’s. We all had been coming to the restaurant since it was called Flannigans many years ago. We were all excited to reunite at the one place we had shared so many great times throughout the years. Fast forward to our actual experience... The staff was EXTREMELY rude and the service was absolutely abysmal. It really is a shame, as the location is still great! Avoid at all costs, unless you want to be treated like a second class citizen. Really disappointing.

Not impressed. Nice beer selection but the food was just okay and the table service was marginal at best. Try lighting some of the citronella candles that are around the deck too, that will make it nicer to sit out there.

I was very satisfied with both the food and the service. I would have given this restaurant an additional star except for one thing... management policy. My girlfriend and I arrived at approximately 12:30PM for lunch outdoors. The seating area was less than half full. When we chose a table for 4 in the shade, the hostess informed us that since we were just 2 we would have to sit at a table near the railing in the sun. The management was concerned that a group of 4 might have to wait. Really? There were numerous tables for 4 empty and additional ones became available as diners finished their meals. This is an ongoing issue in the Mahopac area. Waiting and planning for diners that never arrive. The management is setting the hostess up for failure with this policy. To the management: I told the hostess that if forced to sit in the sun at a location unacceptable to me - I WIll TAKE MY BUSINESS ELSEWHERE AND NEVER RETURN. If your outdoor deck wasnt full at lunch on a beautiful Saturday afternoon, you need me more than I need you. Wake up and smell the coffee.

For a nice lunch on Lake Mahopac, this is the place to go. We each had a Burger and I had one $7.00 beerThe total came to $42.00 with tip. You pay for the view. Food was very good . Lunch on a sunny warm day +. Occasionally, yes.

Id like to update my previous review. Based on the positive response to my review, Im willing to accept the managements apology and rack it up to a misunderstanding by the hostess. As I previously stated, the food and the table service were excellent. Ill be back to enjoy the food and the view of Lake Mahopac.

Food was not great ! food was under quality and overpriced. a very weak well vodka and lemonade $9 ,where do they think they are Manhattan .bees everywhere!

Service was terrible bartender no personality Chicken wings were so bad stringy not even hot one drink n bill was 2050 put 30 on bar he takes n says thanks is he crazy 950 tip for that I would have liked my change back then I would have gave him five more which I gave him five earlier Bought five drinks not one but back so sad I won’t be back soon
