I am currently waiting for the mulch to be delivered. Its been two hours after the confirmed delivery time. I am paying my worker to just sit around and wait for the mulch. I paid a very low price for the mulch. This goes to show that you get what you pay for. I called twice to check and see when they where coming. The receptionist said she has no idea when the mulch is coming. Sounds a lot like the other reviews theyve gotten. I think next time I will pay the extra money at some other nursery and be able to actually do the work on time.
If I could give 0 stars I would. Mulch was delivered and installed by untrained people who had no respect for our property or their own equipment (which we later saw on our video). We were not home during the install but when we arrived home a few hours later, many of our plants were dying or dead and that has only gotten worse since. Not only was the mulch thrown all over everything, but it also must have something toxic in it as grass and more plants are continuing to perish (which has also been documented by our video) since the install. When I tried to talk to the owner about this, I was basically told that he was Sam the Mulch Man and that there were things I could have done to better prepare for the install. That I should plant after the mulch was installed, not before, that I had too many plants for them to be able to install (this question was not asked when I placed the order) and that the bad outcome was my own fault. I will be seeing them in small claims court. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY.
Two years in a row:Place an order for playground mulch. Get a confirmed delivery date.Get a call a few days before saying its being delayed, get a new delivery date - I ask to confirm the playground mulch will be ready, get a yes.Call on the AM of the new delivery date to confirm. Get confirmed yes.Late afternoon, call to check on the order - the mulch ISNT EVEN MADE YET. Not just delivery problems. Two years in a row I get lied to about it the day of.
Would have given 0 stars if that was an option. This company and owner should not be allowed to operate a business. Driver backed into a tree upon delivery and large branch snapped and was hanging on an electrical wire. Have picture to show it all too. Called them consistently for a month and got the run around. When we finally talked to the owner Sam we were cursed at, threatened, and disrespected. He then had the nerve to say that my wife was crazy, probably doesnt even work, and hung up on me. Will have to pay myself to have tree taken down now. AVOID AVOID AVOID....you have been warned!
Hard to imagine a worse company to deal with. After being first promised a delivery the next day,(which did not happen) trying to follow up by having them leave me on hold and then being cut off the phone countless times, to being told to f off (and more) by Sam the owner.
Choosing them was a horrible decision. They neglected all instructions I gave them which resulted in me having to pay someone over $100 just to make up for their mistakes. and then once I called them and requested they do something about it, I couldn’t get a hold of the owner for weeks, and then once I did he was rude and refused to do anything about it. Worst company/owner I’ve ever dealt with! Would give them 0 stars if google would let me
These people came and threw mulch on every plant in the garden! Everything was burned or dead. If I could give zero stars I would! I have a security camera and I got footage of them throwing the hot mulch everywhere-even on the grass-and stepping on the beautiful flowers!! Never use these people-you will regret it!
Had no problem getting in touch with somebody both times I called, they arrived on the day they told me they would, but wish they would have been able to provide a more specific time for the delivery rather than just between 8&5.
It’s seems like there’s a common theme here. The service is terrible. They killed all the flowers around the house and refused to do anything about it. All they told was it will grow back and this is what happens with cheaper mulch. Find another company that will take care of your yard. Not kill it.
Ordered mulch directly with Sam the Mulch man, great service, great product will continue business with them .
Waited over a week for Mulch - called to confirm delivery and they told me they needed to push it back a week. The machine broke. They never called me to tell me.
This company is horrendous. They delivered mulch that was mixed with different colors and when I called to complain, the owner was unbelievably rude and dismissive on the phone.
Deer Out Deer Repellent. These people sell this repellent. Its the best and we have large herds of deer in our neighborhood.
Really awful and rude people work there. The owner aides and abets this behavior. What a disgrace they are. Unhelpful, rude and out to rob their customers.
Good prices & hours. Yard workers are friendly & helpful as is the cashier.

2022-06-03Ordered 7 yards of mulch on May 20th. I agreed to wait until June 4 for delivery. I called on June 3rd at 11:30 am to confirm delivery. I was told at that point that he was not sure if he could deliver on the 4th. He said he would get back to me by 4pm. At 4:10 I called back and still had no definitive answer as to whether or not they can deliver. I had no no choice but to cancel the order. Called O’Sullivan Tree at 4:20pm 6/3. 7 yards being delivered on 6/4 mid morning. Cost me $20 more. Money well spent.

2022-05-16Horrifying experience. Mulch never delivered. Called to see where it was, Sam lost his cool pretty quickly. Threatened to cancel the order, to which I did myself. He called back later to apologize, and shortly into that call lost his mind again. Very unhinged. Wish him well.

2022-05-29The owner of the company is so nice. The delivery was fantastic! The driver was so nice! They originally brought the wrong color I stopped the delivery before they got it off the truck. Came back with the correct color. Would order from them again!!!

2021-05-14Used these people for 3 years never had a problem before now. Call 4 days ago to order and install. Spoke to owner, told him order was 10 yards and took his his advice to order black mulch. I told him I would call him back in five minutes with credit card info to secure date and order. Did that, left two messages with my cell phone number and never got a return phone call. Called back today with no recollection of any of our prior conversation? Told time span for order and installation was pushed back an additional 7 days. Not feeling the love! No thanks

2020-05-27Supremely shady company. Ordered 10 cubic yards and received only 6, and that is a generous estimate! I called the office to dispute my delivery, and to the owners credit he called me back. He insisted that I was wrong and he has video evidence to challenge my claim. After a few minutes of him ranting to me on the phone, he hung up. I called him back 10 minutes later and offered to sent him a picture of the delivery. He asked if I was going to sue him and then said it is entirely possible 30% of my shipment fell off the truck on the way to be delivered. Unfortunately, he was not joking. I asked him to make good on my order, and he hung up on me, again. I should have know there could be issues with Supreme Mulch since they charged my account for 10 cubic yards two weeks before my scheduled delivery. Beware!

2020-05-15The worst customer experience of my life. I was left regretting not having read these reviews and buying because they are cheap. I was recommended the wrong mulch for my needs and when I asked to return it the owner drove to my house threatened to sue me for harassment and asked for my car insurance because he scratched his car in my driveway. Was called all sorts of names and left wondering if he was mentally all there. Really terrible experience. Spend whatever extra to avoid these guys because in the end you may need to spend more money fixing mistakes.

2019-04-30The mulch was delivered to our house and placed in the middle of the driveway so our cars could not get in or out of the driveway. When we called to ask them to come and move the mulch we were given the owners number. We contacted him via text the next day (after leaving a VM earlier the previous day). He returned the call and spoke with my husband. He yelled and cursed at my husband and told him he had no one to remove the mulch and offered no solution or sign of remorse. He was completely rude and unprofessional.

2019-05-31Please do not use this service. The prices are cheap but they will not deliver the promised amount. Very dishonest and will not return calls.2 years ago I purchased 35 yds of mulch. A large semi delivered and all was well. This year I Purchased 40 yds of mulch and a small dump truck that can carry max load of 20yds shows up. Company says it was enough. One month later still getting the run around. I’ve tried to be patient but I really fear how many people are getting scammed. I have pictures and all to confirm truck and quantity not legitimate. Avoid.

2019-07-03Called 1/2 hr before closing time and a rude and nasty person answer the phone, pretended not to hear me asked me to call back which I did, and as soon I started to asked questions about the types mulch the girl on the phone in an angry and rude tone said she couldnt hear me any longer. I hanged up, Rude people doesnt get my bussiness.Called 1 800 Top=soil and right away it took 5 minutes for the guy to take my order and make me happy.

2020-06-18Google requires at least one star to leave a review, but they dont even deserve that. I pre-ordered mulch AND pea gravel. When I went to set up a delivery they could not find my order, and when they finally did find it they tell me theyre out of pea gravel, STRIKE 1... they tell me my delivery is coming Thursday before 4pm, 3:45 we call... you guessed it, my delivery isnt coming, STRIKE 2... owner then calls my wife to apologize and offer different mulch which she was wasnt sure about it because its for our childrens playground, so shes asking him a couple questions... what does he do... this is the owner , mind you... does he answer her questions about my childrens safety... NOPE!!! He gets angry and tells her hell just refund us and hangs up on her. No wonder you have 2 stars! Ladies in the office were no better either! STAY AWAY!
