Been there three times and simply ordered a rum and coke. Patrons refused to let me order and the was kicked out as the only white guy who apparently isn’t allowed to order a drink. Nice place, but it certainly seems to me it’s blacks only. Again, I’ve spoken to no one and been kicked out three times because people didn’t like the way I looked (being the only white guy in the place. Guess I know what’s it’s like for black people to be discriminated against. Thought we were beyond differentiating between black and white. Horrifying. Guess this is a blacks only bar. Sad.
I thought itll be a good brunch spot but honestly its better if you wanna chill by the bar and not do much talking. So tiny, crowded and loud. I left after waiting a bit for my party to show up, so I didnt actually try the food or drinks.music was good tho just so loud for a tiny space for brunch
Went there on a Saturday with a few girlfriends. Music selection/vibes were good but music was really loud since the place is so small. Its definitely more of a bar than a restaurant. We had a nice time but probably wont come back. The mimosas and bellinis were very sour. Food portions were way too small for the price. They tried to charge us $9 for an order of home fries served on a side plate - there mightve been 5 pieces of potato on the plate and thats generous. Thankfully the waiter was able to have it removed from the bill because that is ridiculously overpriced. Another turn off was the bathrooms had no toilet paper, only loose paper towels that were wet from falling on the floor. Overall, it was okay but you can definitely find way better places in Brooklyn for brunch.
Came Friday around 11pm, the music is great earlier in the night, after 1am it can get iffy. it’s a very mixed crowd and I love that. They come to your table and take drink orders; which is good cuz the blonde hair short girl @ bar is sloooooow.Last call 2am, owner is super sweet!!drinks imo were too pricey for what they gave. it’s brooklyn; not midtown and they were weak drinks. Automatic 20% gratuity!! don’t get bamboozled and tip more, cuz it’s not worth that.
Service is 1 star but food gets 3 stars. As I walked in the waitress/ bartender was fixing the speakers. The place was a bit crowded. 15 minutes of starring and hand gestures she came to take our order. The drinks were strong to maybe make up for the slow service. The food came out at a good timing after. The place got crowded, I thought I was never going to get my second drink. Two more people joined to help out but still not speedy service.Came back and the bartender was MUCH better. He was friendly, knew the menu and able to service quickly the night crowd that came after. Oyo great job. The DJ played songs that moved the crowd. Ill be back...Im walking out if I dont see Oyo!
The waiter Shaun is AMAZING. The service was good but our food took so long and when it did come out it was cold. The wings were cold. The fries were cold. How sway? How you get fries served cold. They werent even luke warm. The plantains were hot and only fried on one side. I dont know what happened in the kitchen but between slow and cold food... Ill only visit for the drinks and call and place my to go order in a week in advance. The spot is great. Invited my friend there and share that my last experience was super dope but today food quality was completely off. Shaun took the food back and guess what we waited again and wait for this one .... the wings were cold again. At this point the fries were removed. But come on you got one job to do and now especially when were in a Pandemic fighting the Covid19 everything should be HOT blazing. The only thing that was hot was the mac and cheese....
Overall my experience was terrible booked a reservation showed up 15 mins early because they don’t have grace period. But wasn’t seated until 40 mins after, very disappointed in the staff not being attentive in our request to be seated in a timely manner. The food was served on paper plates, foil containers given plastic utensils. What saved us was the taste of the food and the fire playlist they had playing. But it’s not worth the hassle booking the reservation. Better off using Uber Eats!
Stopped in for a drink, and a snack. The Claire Huxtable drink was DELISH! Great recommendation from the bartender/server Timothy. Fish taco was ok, shrimp taco was yummy! All the staff members greeted us, as they reported to work.Only con.... online the hours state they open at 3p, however, upon our 415p arrival, we were informed the kitchen doesnt open till 5. Not biggie. We just drank until it opened!🙄
They staff was very nice and chill, they were fast and quick. the food is really good. i was surprised... only thing is they served some of the food in to go plates which was very unattactive. my friends ordered the grits and it came in a to go pan, my food came in a paper plate, other than that it was good.
This is a dope little black neighborhood bar. The vibe is friendly and low key. The wait staff is particularly friendly. The drinks are also reasonably priced. The drinks were, however, a little on the sweet side and needed a touch more ice. But I guess that goes with the name. The DJ could do with some updating but he was festive so I didnt mind.
The food was fine and so was my drink. However, I was denied the right to use the restroom because my temperature was 102 as I was placed at a table where the sun was beaming. I understand the covid situation but common sense would show you the sun was the issue. My shirt was very warm and so was my hair. Very disappointed!Update: A hostess gave new customers cups of ice and water as my friend and I were not offered water or ice as we were seated (again right where the sun is BEAMING upon us) and this was after the fact that I was denied the right to use the restroom 🤔. I couldve been given water and ice as well as I waited for my to go order. Ridiculous!
The food was not bad it was on the colder side when it came out. The waiter was nice. The owner was extremely rude. A shrimp side was order and it was in a cream sauce, my friend who ordered is has a dairy allergy and in the menu it did not indicate that the shrimp side had any dairy. The waiter that served was informed she said she would get them made grilled instead. The owner then approached us and said it is usually served with grits which has dairy and we responded that we ordered the side and did not know. She then went on to repeat the same thing in a condescending voice. Then asked about the waffles that we sent back because they were sent back because they were cold and made a whirling motion with her fingers and said well there are fan, so you need to eat the food as soon as its brought out and then walked away. We did not receive all the food at the same time. Just a bad experience with her. Wont be back again. My friend order a beverage and never received it.
Sweet Brooklyn last night and had the most amazing time it was so great the people Everything was wonderful I took my girlfriend there for her birthday The staff was great David Ransom was and the Two Hostess and the DJ Wonderful was so nice Pleasant all nighta place that I will come back here
Spot was dope, nice vibes, awesome atmosphere, great music. We went for Sunday Brunch got a spot even tho we didnt reserve a table. But 4 or more ppl can make reservations and be set. But i gave it a 3 cause their was only one waitress that double as a bartender and busier. She worked the whole damn room and did it well. 👏🏾 @Celene AMy omelet was awesome. The peach bellini was the best (#strong)The brunch burger was hella dry, the fries was popping tho!Overall the experience was good, the ambience kept us, so youll def enjoy yourself!!
Went for brunch with friends, great vibe (dj mary is just the very best!), most of the servers were very attentive, food is great, the option for bottomless mimosas is the way to go, reasonable prices BUUUT too bad the older server almost spoiled the vibe, he was evidently annoyed by all the happy queer people dancing near him 🤣🤣 (different generation, I guess ¯_(ツ)_/¯), kinda hard to believe thats still happening in 2022
Planned and hosted a Birthday brunch party with 10 plus guests. Veronica was great to work with in getting all details finalized for our group. Food was delicious, music was on point, staff were attentive, fun, and professional. Music was so good, we had to dance and others at the spot joined in on the fun. Great time had by all. I definitely recommend this place for good food, drinks, service and a fun time! Shout out to Veronica, Towana, Jacob, Ruby and all the Sweet Brooklyn staff and the DJs for making our event fun and memorial. The birthday girl enjoyed herself…we’ll be back!
I recently had an early birthday celebration with 18 people and had an amazing time. Everything from beginning (setting up the reservation) to end (dining) was seamless. The vibe, food, and drinks definitely contributed to a great time. Everyone was super accommodating & friendly. I’ll def be back.
Music was great and my friends french toast was pretty decent. The problem was my food. At first I ordered the nostrand scramble. It was supposed to come with a biscuit but when I got the meal it didn’t have the biscuit. The waitress apologized for not telling me before hand and asked if I wanted something else. Earlier I seen someone’s chicken and waffles and it looked amazing so I decided to get that. When I actually received my meal it looked totally different. The chicken ended up being flavorless tenders and the waffle was the waiter I ever had. Doesn’t seem to have been cooked properly. I took it to go so didn’t get a chance to tell them how horrible it was. Throughly disappointed. Would not return.
My experience was okay, definitely overrated and not worth the money for the small portions. On their website they say they open at 11 but when we got there they made us wait because they were still setting up (even though we had reservations). The music was cool but the food was just okay. They also only take reservations through email and want you to email all the card info which is very unsafe. And the bathroom is pretty gross, I’m pretty sure an employee didn’t wash their hands after they went
I had the opportunity to eat brunch at Sweet Brooklyn and it was delicious! The service and atmosphere was great, shout out to Lisa our waitress and the DJ who was on-point!!! The music was perfect and our food was scrumptious! I had the shrimp and grits, and my son had chicken and waffles, both of which were top-notch❣ Great restaurant!!!
I’ve frequented Sweet BK bar many times with no issues. Unfortunately, my most recent visit wasn’t pleasant and I will not be returning. Celine, the co-owner, was very rude to me and my partner when we came for brunch. I ordered the bottomless deal (not my partner). We never shared my bottomless drinks because it was clear to me that no sharing would be permitted since he didn’t purchase bottomless. Celine felt the need to come to our table and rudely remind us that there is no sharing. Her tone was unprofessional, disrespectful and unnecessary. It is unfortunate to see that the co-owner lacks basic etiquette.
I ordered Shrimp and Fries via take out this evening and the food was horrible, not edible at all. The fries was stiff and stale! I only got 6 baby shrimps and they were not crispy and they were tough and overall cooked. I had to throw the shrimp in the garbage. A waste of $15 and Im still hungry and my stomach hurts. Hope I dont have food poisoning. I will not be ordering from here again.
Decided to try out brunch at this spot and it was definitely well worth it!! Making reservations was easy and the quick response was greatly appreciated. I decided to go for the bottomless mimosa which came with a meal. The mimosa was delicious and the great thing was that my glass was never empty! I opted to order the shrimp and grits. Shrimp was very flavorful and succulent. The cheesy grits was creamy and silky. I liked that the Cajun sauce was not so spicy as in other establishments Ive been to. I usually get it on the side in case the kick is too much for me. We also ordered a pitcher of rum punch that did not disappoint! The staff as well as owner of Sweet Brooklyn were very attentive and friendly. The DJ kept the vibe lively and the music was off the hook, everyone was singing and dancing in their seat. Will definitely be going back!!
Came here on a Tuesday night and paid $105 for tacos Brussels sprouts, Mac and cheese, and 3 margaritas. She totally forgot my Mac and cheese, got an attitude when she was asked about the Mac and cheese. The margaritas were in baby glasses for $16. And she had the nerve to charge a 20% gratuity like she was a boss Bartender. Horrible service. HORRIBLE!! I will NEVER again! Tuh!
Nice brunch spot. First time here and it eventually soured. Visited on 3/15 for my birthday brunch. The hostess was very accommodating in getting a table cleaned and getting us seated as it was standing room only. Took 30mins to get our orders taken and one of the bottles of bellinis was flat. I will admit that the shrimp and grits were very good and DJ Rhonda was spinning serious tunes. When the check came, it included an automatic 20% gratuity which was not noted on the menu. Honestly the service was definitely not worth 20% especially being that it was during the day. I was seated for 30 mins before my order was taken and the staff had considerable attitudes. I understand that the brunch hour is very busy however service needs to be on par no matter what the situation.
Where do I start? The vibe? Think old Brooklyn soul with a twist of phenomenal. This is a cozy location with vibe that’s perfect for a date or guys/girls night out. The drinks were made to perfection, the recipes were true and exceeded all my expectations.I ordered the fish tacos which were seasoned to perfection and I’m sure were cooked by magician or some type of wizard! Either way, you will not be disappointed. I will be back again.
Music & food was good. Service needs improvement. The waitress had inputted my order incorrectly & forgot my drink. I had to ask another guy about it. She even came back to my table to check in either. Mind you 20% gratuity is automatically added on. Wasnt worth the money or wait. Horrible service🙄🙄
This place looks good and the food is solid. The wait staff is good too, they are helpful and friendly. I came here on a Sunday morning for brunch. I tried the burger with the fried egg- comes with mayo by the way and with a huge huge helping of fries. I was able to share and even take some home. One friend got the omelette which was ok and the other got the nostrand scramble but the eggs came cold with that one and she couldnt eat it. I will say the food seemed fresh and my burger was well made and presented. All the food came out pretty promptly. In terms of ambiance, they have lots of wood, the tables are high tops made for 2 people. All the tables wobble, but the waitstaff props them into position. I didnt try the drinks but i might come back one evening for those. Just as we were leaving, there was a DJ setting up and so I assume they do music in the afternoons.
Ive been coming to this spot for a while now. More when my friend was the dj and it popped some more! Not sure if they have a new chef but every time I went the BBQ dry rub wings were just flat out delicious! Last few times Ive been there now that have been under cooked and just dont taste the same! The drinks are fantastic... the bartender has a good hand and the music gets you in a vibe... good low key spot for quick food and a simple date!
I called the restaurant on a saturday to inquire what time brunch ends. They said 5:30 so we got there a little before that but they said brunch was over. Fine. then they said we were waiting for them to change shifts and we could order at 6. Bye 6:30 they finally tell us that there is no chef but that he’s on his way. I literally ran out of that place SMH
Went to this restaurant last Saturday with my best friend for brunch and we had a great time. The service was great, the food was amazing, the drinks were good , and the music was great. Their was a live DJ and I couldn’t stop singing. The drinks were good had the 1 hour unlimited peach. Had the shrimp and grits I would highly recommend if you are going to try this place out. It seemed as if we got there at just the right time because not too long after we got there, it started to fill up. So I would suggest making a reservation if you can, I definitely plan on going back and I will definitely be making a reservation. Plan on going back very soon.
I went here for my birthday brunch, they had our table reserved waiting for us. They told me a certain amount of guest however they accommodated more that came. The wait staff was phenomenal very friendly very quick especially with such a big party. The food? Omg the food was AMAZING. We had endless mimosas with our meals and those were just as great. I would highly recommend this place o cannot wait to go back again
Get vibes, great music, delicious food ( French toast & omelet) .. bottomless bilini definitely hits the spot!!!... Not to mention great service!!! Great black owned women bussiness in BROOKLYN!!!. Most definitely recommend this lil gem restaurant, will be returning!!
Place was cool, good vibes, they definitely following covid protocols. Its a small spot so they cant have alot of people dine in. They do have some outdoor sitting available..seems like they have small heated areas for outside. Im giving only 4 stars because the food was just ok. Ordered wings and fries(fries were cold and not cooked fully, you can literally taste the ice from being in the freezer),chicken and waffles were ok chicken could have been fried better. They definitely made up for it with the drinks, bottomless mimosas were on point. Servers are friendly. Overall it was just OK they definitely gotta improve on the FOOD
Friday night Teacher Happy Hour is a great time. Note, the happy hour ends at 8pm, not 10pm as advertised on other sites. The happy hour includes $2 off wines, cocktails, and 1 other thing. Food is great. Drinks are great. Theres also a beer and shot special that ends before happy hour.
Food was OK. Service was OK. But overall, badly managed reservation system. After taking a large deposit and threatening to charge the card if we were late or the party size changed, when we arrived there was no table set up for us. Wed booked over 2 weeks before. Disappointing.
Pros:Great customer serviceFood was not mediocreThe unlimited mimosas for brunch were greatCons: the bathroom needs to be cleaned better.Overall: I do plan on coming back again for brunch on a Saturday, but when I do come back I hope that the bathrooms are much cleaner.
The three stars is for the DJ I really want to give him five stars but the food was excellent the fish was delicious the music was fantastic. the bar took a long time to get drinks or the barmaid kept talkin about how tired she was and after spending $169 they didnt even offer house drink there were no snacks little things they never when I move to a table they never came and wipe the table off but theres a gentleman there that was serving the food he was very nice and again the food was excellent
I truly enjoyed being at this spot. Small but not cramped. Good music. Good vibes. Enjoyed he company of my friends. No complaints.Food was awesome and happy hour was just what we needed. It was truly a HAPPY HOUR. Lol! I love this spot is owned by women. Super plus!I would definitely go again.
Met some friends here, and although the place is nice on the inside and out, just not the crowd we expected on a saturday night. It was like the after work crowd. Again nothing wrong with that, but just not what youd expect on a Saturday. The 2 separate drinks I had were sweet as hell, Like made me pucker sweet. One of the drinks I had was an old fashioned, which isnt sweet normally 🙄. The 2 other people I were with got food, neither one of them finished it. Maybe it was the luck of the draw for us, I dont know. Lots of comedy amongst the folks dancing however, so if your into that, then go check this place out! Otherwise, make this the meet up place and then go about your way.
The place opens at 11. I arrived around 11:20 . We ere told by the bartender to take seat in the middle. Water was giving. After about 5 mins we knew what we wanted an ordered. The waiter ate a the the bar while we sat waiting for our food close to 30 mins it’s. Our food didn’t arrive till 11:53. The service is terrible. For that whole time no one came back or said anything. The food was presented beautifully on the plate but wasn’t anything to be crazy over. My fiancé French toast was overpowered by the bourbon n he didn’t really enjoy it. I had to get up an get waiter attention so we can just leave n get the bill. Which it was just two of us and they added 20% gratuity for service that was trash. I will never come here again.
The food was okay but what really impressed me were the covid-19 safety measures! They take your temperature and give you sanitizer before you can be seated. There’s also sanitizer on the table and you can use a QR code to view the menu. All utensils are also paper or plastic. I’ll be back.
Food was amazing. Had the most amazing chicken and waffles. Never got the hype about chicken and waffles till then. And have been trying to recreate it since then without success. Also th burger was amazing. Perfect place for a brunch date with friends if you want to listen to good hip music and eat good food. Will definitely be going back.g Giving 4 stars bc I was with the kids and not the best place for kids due to noise and tight seating room. Looks adult only but the staff was so understanding and welcome of my kids.
I cant say enough about this Brooklyn gem! Yes, this urban bar and grill has really put the sweetness into Brooklyn. As you approach not only can you hear the music but you can see a crowd gathered waiting to get in to have Sunday Brunch and/or a few drinks with friends. I sat at the bar and ordered the Southern Fried Chicken & Waffles and a Mai Tai. I usually dont eat everything I order, but trust when I say, you do not want to let any morsel go to waste. As a matter of fact, the man who sat next to me, asked the barback to bring his plate back as he was walking away with it, so that he could finish the last of his Cajun Style Shrimp & Grits. NOTHING went to waste on his plate. We laughed, but completely understood his action, as the food is divinely palatable. My second drink was a margarita, followed by a shot of tequila and a concoction that the bartender made because I told her to surprise me...great drink! Dont know what was in it but it was good. This place is in a great location too, literally steps from the Norstrand Avenue LIRR Station. Its open 7 days a week and you will often find the owners, rolling their sleeves up and really taking care of business. Like I previously said I cant say enough about this place...check it out, you will not be disappointed.
Me and my friend came here and the service was very horrible. Let me start by saying we were not given any water upon entry. There was other people that came after us and was given water. Secondly I order bbq wings and I got dry bbq (mind you that was not stated on the menu), when I ask for bbq sauce there wasn’t any. Very bad.
2nd time Ive been here and the food is on point. First was brunch and their catfish and grits were to die for. My husband and i went for a random date night and we were entertained by an awesome band. The mac and cheese makes you wonder whos grandmama they got working in the kitchen. Good atmosphere and good food.
The food is good and the drinks are ok but if you are looking for good customer service this is not the place for you. The bar staff will have you waiting forever but quick to take your credit card to start a tab but wont never return to see if you are ok or need another refill the seating service is horrible dont look for anyone to sit you or take your order right away. The menu are very hard to read in the very dark light all around I would give it 2 stars but again I like the food.
I came here today for a brunch. The music was great, the DJ played alittle bit of everything from 90s rnb, hip-hop, reggae, todays Afrobeats, top American 40s, and Caribbean music. I didnt eat food here but I was told they have basic brunch food. (Burgers, fries, wings, etc.) The place is pretty diverse, all kinds of people. There is no dance floor, just tables and chairs, kind of jammed together. Some people still get up and dance by their chairs lol. I had 2 margaritas and they were great! The menu said happy hour is until 8pm. I would come back. Its a cool pregame spot or chill day spot.
Motown Tribute, Motown hits were great, food was soso. Fish and chips, bland fries, small portion bland fish great tartar sauce. Would have preferred fish and salad with tartar sauce as dressing. Honey Jack was good, glass to small to hold ice, drink was warm.Would go back for music and drink just would order ice cup.
One of my favorite bars in Brooklyn. A small cozy spot perfect for both chilling after work and jamming out on the weekend. The staff is super welcoming, and almost every day of the week, you can expect awesome programming featuring various talent. They religiously update and keep everyone informed on Instagram. Happy hour specials are amazing, and I am bound to order fish tacos every time I go -- the best thing ever. I wouldnt recommend the wings, but everything else is usually delish.
My friend took me hear for open Mike Tuesdays. I heard some of Brooklyns most talented artist singing songs that sounded better than the artist themselves! I originally was only gonna stay for one hour but wound up staying till 2 am. I thoroughly enjoyed myself and am definitely going back.
This is the Friday and Saturday hood spot with a older crowd. The dj was on fire the night I went ( a dread dude really cool). Take my advice on this if you do visit this establishment, especially on the weekends when partying use cash only. They accept credit and debit cards but the bartenders do have a tendency to add their friends drinks on other peoples taps, other than that the environment was safe and the music is really good.
If I could give it no stars i would. AWWWWFUL SERVICE. I wanted to support a black owned business but upon arrival no one greeted us to be seated. We went looking for seats for ourselves..apparently I operate as a hostess and patron. Find two seats at the bar. Sitting idle still no menu or service. Ten minutes later the bartender decides to hand us two menus. After looking over the menu in under 5 minutes we decided what we wanted. Mind you we are sitting at the bar so there are two bartenders making drinks. Now Im reasonable person but if my first introduction is sour, I dont desire to leave a pleasant tip. My bf and I decided to get up and leave because this is unacceptable. When we suddenly get up, that is when they want to pay us attention. I dont recommend this place as a location for Brunch unless you would like to serve and set yourself
Small place but it works draft beer options which I appreciate. Happy Hour and a food menu... Their Brussel sprouts were insanely delicious. I hate those things but we tried it and whooo weee... they were popping. Nice Bartender saw my bill looking crazy because I guess I wasnt aware of the price of my friends drink so she was pleasant enough to get me a rum punch on her. Now thats the customer service you look for and want. Which will in return make me come come back and recommend. One bartender allowed me to sample the draft also another bonus. Please stop by and patronize them. I feel like they deserve it.
Random employee just chased me down the street to accuse me of stealing their plants. The plants I was carrying were not theirs. But that didnt stop him from saying he SAW ME TAKE THEM. After showing him proof on my phone that I just got the plants from Williamsburg, HE COULD NOT RUN AWAY FAST ENOUGH. He didnt even apologize. Also, he wasnt wearing a mask.
Sweet Brooklyn Bar & Grill was a great experience, my husband & I will return--he enjoyed the shrimp & grits and I had the catfish & grits, with our endless Mimosas & Bellinis! Jerry, the head chef was great he visited tables to make sure patrons were good with their food. Our host Sunny was AWESOME!!Chandira
Ive been to this bar a few times after work. The cocktails, including the sangria Nd rum punch, are very good. Im trying the Claire Huxtable today and its surprisingly delicious. Ive gotten the fish and chips which are fried to perfection and they have this really tasty garlic aioli sauce for dipping thats amazing! Ive only ever come on weekdays, and the staff is very friendly and have served me right away.
The firt time that I went to Sweet Brookkyn, the experience was AMAZING. Food...service and drinks were ALL excellent. However this past Friday, the customer service by someone I can only presume is a manager was less than favorable. She was very rude and not very personable. We were seated at a table(we asked about it BEFORE sitting). We were advised that the table was available. About 20min later this person walks in (same rude person ) shaking her head no. She walks over with no greeting/salutation and just says You cant sit here I need this table. WHO DOES THAT?? In any event, I advise that we asked and were told that we could sit at the table. She asks who gave us the table, we advised and she reiterates that she needs the table and we cannot sit there. Shes then advised that we already ordered food/drinks and that we are not moving unless we are accommodated at another table(the place is now packed so there are none). She walks off and speaks to the waitress who seated us(we see she is completely blindsided with the events as she was not informed that the table was unavailable). A few minutes after, the rude one returns and says you can sit here until 8pm (mind you it is now 7:20pm and we have not received our drinks or food). At that time, we advised the waitress to cancel our orders and that we would be going elsewhere, but we appreciated HER service and time. Now as we are leaving, the rude NOW wants to try to be polite and apologize for the confusion. I have yet to acknowledge her as I stopped speaking once I said I was not moving unless I was moves to another table. I left the remainder of the interaction to the group that I was with. With that said, I wont be returning any time soon if ever which sucks because with the exception of that one person, Sweet Brooklyn reallly is a cool spot.
Nice Spot! Drinks are phenomenal and the sautéed brussel sprouts are to die for.Thursday Night is Reggae Night. DJ APACHE OF TROPICAL BLENDS SOUND opens the night with an early warm set until 10. From 10 until enjoy the sounds of one of the various rotating guest DJs. Final note. Ive never been inside on the weekend, but judging from the crowd I see when passing by the spot, I can tell the place is.. as the younger folk say, lit. Lol
FOOD IS GOOD BUT I PAID WITH MY CARD WHICH THE WAITRESS TOOK IN THE BACK . I WOKE UP THE NEXT MORNING WITH UNUSUAL BANK TRANSACTIONS I DIDNT MAKE AND I HAD TO REPORT AND TURN MY CARD OFF. PLEASE BE CAREFUL THERE HANDING THEM YOUR BANKCARD !!!!! THEY SPENT NEARLY $200 ON MY CARD
First and foremost the food here was amazing long I got the catfish and grits it was so amazing every single bit so they definitely get 5 stars for food. Now lets get into this service where to I start when we walked in it states wait to be seated. It took someone about 7 mins to even acknowledge us so when we seated it took to waited 15 mins to ask us about drinks food took about another 30 and when we were done eating it took another 30mjns to get the bill this place is go and packed and the brunch turn up is real and fun but the the service was horriable idk if I would come back here and also I dont like the fact that it was only the two of us and they automatically added a 20% to the bill and the service was trash I have to tip someone 20% for trash service really?
I was on my way to another restaurant when I saw thi place everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves so I asked for a table for 1 and the service was very good 2 different waiters kept asking if I was okay. I ordered fried shrimp and fries omg it was seasoned so wellPlease kiss the cook .I am going back today lol for take out oh and after 2 drinks I was nice
Yall end too early. Yes 3am is too early. But I wanna shout out who ever let us catch last call u too real in the clutch for that. Summer is coming extend ya time on them popping nights tho....everyone eill spend that bread. It can get hot in there so dress light unless u gotta ride the iron horse. They dont have a coat check and the placeis rather small. Djs be hitting with the songs tho
Great Reisling its a must try if u like a good Reisling... every item on the menu is always so delicious.. the music is always chill for guys and girls alike they have sports on the tv never loud to change the mood.. my friend and I love stopping in for chill evening just drinks catching up and those AMAZING lamb sliders!
The drinks was horrible I had sangria and it was terrible the waitress was discriminating saying that my card wasn’t really my card that she never saw mcu with a chip like seriously sis the bill was $63 know ur banks She only asked me that because I looked young then she asked to see my work ID card .. basically never again

2022-01-24These are a few of my favorite things: Brunch, booze, and supporting Black owned businesses! I came here a few weeks ago for Saturday brunch and enjoyed myself. I immediately had a side of biscuits before anything because I had been out the night before and they were great. They’re different from traditional biscuits in that they’re not flaky and they have an herb taste. I’m pretty sure I ate 3 or 4 total that day. My Nostrand scramble was delicious, I wish it came with slightly more potatoes as opposed to peppers. I did ask for my eggs to be scrambled in with cheese but it was placed on top but my eggs were hot enough that I was able to fold the cheese in. The fried shrimp were cooked perfectly and in hindsight I should’ve gotten some to go. My group opted for the rum punch pitcher with the extra rum and wow I had to sip slow😂 we absolutely got out money’s worth. As we ate and talked more people started to trickle in and at one point it was a full house. Our server was great and responsive, the dj although was great (he did turn the music down at one point per a staff member’s request which I appreciated lol), and the vibe was fun. Definitely would recommend!

2022-07-10One of my girlfriends and I got together and tried this spot for brunch. When we arrived I found parking on the street nearby. We walked in and the server told us we can sit anywhere. We sat at the bar and Sunny was our bartender. He was also the manager and he was nice. I started with the rum punch and it was tasty. For food we wanted to order off the regular menu but nothing but wings and brunch food was available. We both got wings. Mine were asian wings and hers were jerk wings. The wings were piping hot when they came out and mine were pretty good. There was a female dj playing and she played great music while we were in the restaurant. It was a really good time.

2022-04-25This is a tiny venue. The music and drinks were awesome. But, the food wasnt worth the brunch price. I ordered catfish fish and grits, with grilled shrimp. The shrimp came drowning in sauce, and the fish wasnt catfish.

2022-01-24This place is a vibe. This was my first time coming here the food is so amazing. There is a lot of diversity on the brunch menu. The Mimosa and Bellin are great. The DJ Mary Mack was dope. Sunny our waiter, was extremely pleasant and provided excellent service. the only down side was the Asian wings they had no taste i told Sunny but he could careless. He was the only server working all the tables.

2022-04-12I have been Instagram stalking this place for months trying to convince my friends to go and it finally happened. Came here for brunch and it was packed we struggled to get a spot for two but they were able to squeeze us in at the bar thankfully. it was a party inside everyone was having a blast and this is exactly what I was looking for. It’s much smaller than it looks online I wish it was bigger so that it wouldn’t be so tight and crowded which sucks when you’re eating. But once the bottomless Bellini‘s or Mimosas start flowing nobody’s worried about that. brunch was good, I thoroughly enjoyed myself and the DJ was great I was there for a few hours and had a great day I can’t wait to go back for lunch or dinner. I came all the way from Queens and it did not disappoint

2022-01-10Its was a great time, music was pumping drinks were plentiful (bottomless brunch is the way to go) food was yummy...but its a Bar, calling it a restaurant is a stretch. If youre looking for a nice quiet brunch its NOT the place, but if you looking for fun, loud party brunch then its for you 😉

2022-05-22I went for the endless Mimosa. The Mimosa was not good at all no matter how much the bartender tried. The wings were amazing 👏🏽 👏🏽.I will go back and try the brunch maybe the Mimosa will be better next time.

2021-11-24Loved the vibe and the Mac and cheese was great. However, they automatically add 20% tip to your bill which is not the worst part. Next day when I checked my bank, they charged an additional $10 for who knows what. Had to call the bank because that’s sketchy.

2022-03-02The DJ was good, my friends and I went there for brunch on a Sunday. The food was decent. The place is very small and gets crowded very fast. We were seated by the front door and whenever someone came in they would bump into our table. Staff was friendly and attentive.

2022-03-02I literally went to find out what time their open mic began. The music playing shocked me as to how good it was and it was a Tuesday. I would go back on a weekend to start my night to see if the vibe was the same. But from what I experienced, I was well taken care of.
