Amazingly cute drinks and mouth watering desserts. Presentation is definitely their strength, but it’s expensive for sure. You’re really paying for the novelty. But there is also ample seating inside. The wait is also short! I recommend for anybody who is around Chinatown!
Very cute and insta friendly cafe serving cool drinks you don’t get everywhere. For example the red velvet milk tea, or the chocolate one we got.We had a matcha strawberry ice cream and a waffle with fruits all of which were delicious.Sadly the seating is not very comfortable and both times I’ve been here they’d run out of the item I ordered so I had to order something else.
The outside is super unassuming and kind of dank to be honest lol, but the inside is really quite nice and modern! Its literally like stepping into another world when you walk through that door. Their cafe drinks are also really good. Got the red velvet latte and it truly did taste like red velvet latte, rather than just latte with a slight red velvet taste. The wait was kind of long though considering how I was like 1 of 3 people in the store when I got it.
Finally, something unusually and different. As we all know in 2022, no one can surprise you with only good service. but when your sweets severed in an unusually way, Thats when you know they are on top of the trend.* mango and cheesecake bingsoo was delicious, especially loved the presentation It was a good balance of sweetness overall since the shaved ice isnt sweet.will defiantly be back
Glad I wandered in for a study session! They have a few tables in the back. Enjoyed a strangely delicious bulgogi sando which was soft and sweet and creamy with corn egg, quality lettuce and tomato, and just the perfect amount of sauce. Latte was a bit small (sorry I already drank some in the photo) but it was a little cheaper imo than your usual latte prices. They take card. Have a bathroom for customers. The vibe is good.
Adorable café in Chinatown that has a good selection of lattes, flavored drinks, and treats. Came here with friends for a BTS/K-pop cup sleeve event. Service was swift and the space was charming. We each ordered a cool beverage: iced matcha latte (pro-tip: they do not use ceremonial matcha), strawberry mango cooler, and iced coffee. None of them were too sweet and were all decently sized for the price (not brimming with ice, like they do at some other cafes). For food, they offer sandwiches and a variety of macarons (my friend got the chocolate one, and she said it was delicious). Would come again! The photos are from the event (:
The shaved ice is yummy. The sesame taste is completely drowned out by the other flavors though. The containers for the shaved ice should be larger to account for spill over. Its Instagram friendly but makes it very difficult to eat.The place has a lot of places to sit and enjoy.
We came here twice and ordered the super cute lattes here, one chocolate with cold brew and one Thai with a black tea bar. The art is as cute as the photos uploaded show, just perfect for Instagram. The drinks themselves were pretty good, but definitely on the sweet and very creamy side. I was hoping for something darker and more liquid-y but that’s on me for not ordering a normal coffee. The second time we came we ordered a regular cold brew and an ice latte which were fairly standard. There were always a lot of people in the cafe, but both times we didn’t have too much trouble finding seats since they had a lot.
I loved how at first I was a bit obsessing over how one eye of the coffee art looked different and asked the barista to just make them both look the same (Because thats insta-worthy) but she made me a whole new one, that looked sooo cute I didnt wanna drink it.Taste wise: The Bulgogi sandwich was great, and looked exactly like the one on the menu. I took the coffee with chocolate creme and the combination was really good!
At Sweet Moment, I tried the Mango Cheesecake Bingsoo (cup for $8) and Strawberry Nutella Waffle ($11). The bingsoo was light and creamy and oh-so-tasty! Bits of mango and cheesecake, mango syrup, chewy mochi, and crunchy cornflakes made for a delightful blend of flavors and textures. The waffle was also really good. Served warm and crispy with chocolate syrup, brownie chunks, sweet strawberries, and chocolate ice cream BUT a bit on the pricier side since the portion wasn’t that large. The cafe itself has a very cute and cozy ambience that, when paired with the unique treats that they offer, makes it perfect choice for a date or meetup with friends!
Sweet Moment has been on our bucket list for shaved ice for a while and we finally got a chance to try it. The decor is simple and cozy but the maintenance wasnt good due to the crowd. The staff was cool and not so friendly but serve everything quicky. When we did our orders, they told us we needed to wait for 20 mins for our Bingsu, but it took us only about 10 mins.Their Bingsu menu is various and most flavors look super appealing. We had Matcha Black Sesame Bingsu (Large, $16) which was a perfect combination for us, my husband loves Matcha and I love Sesame. The bingsu was so delicious, refreshing and creamy with great portion & plenty of ingredients. The balance of matcha & sesame is good and not too sweet. They also serve Korean boxed sandwich from Semicolon Cafe, which is one of our favorite cafes in Jersey City, New Jersey.
Really nice and clean place. You can eat inside but they will check temperature and you will need to sign up on the special journal. The name said by itself - its great place for desserts and coffee as well as sandwiches. Its Korean cousin with some French inspiration.I will definitely come back!
4 starts for the foodZERO STARS FOR THE ASIAN EMPLOYEE working on Monday. This worker not only took his sweet time chit chatting and taking his friends order, he left back to the kitchen DIRECTLY after taking their order, leaving me standing there a tad confused as I was his second and last patron on line. This left the guy restocking the front fridge to remove his gloves to take my order. Fine that happens, however Cherry on top of this original employees behavior is that he occupied everyone in the kitchen for so long with a birthday surprise for his friend that our bingsu took 30 minutes to make.Let me be clear, 30 MINUTES for a shaved ice that typically takes 5 minutes to make, especially on a day where the place is half empty.
A little small cafe and it was very delicious. Got a small matcha cheesecake bingsoo and it was really delicious. The matcha icecream plus the cheesecake with the ice really paired well with each other. Also got the matcha latte and the drawing was really cute. Also got Mango Ice-Ade in which they put real mangos in and was really tasty.
In the range of 5 or so years, Ive been here thrice & each time the staff was fine, & the vibe of the place is very Instagrammable (chill yet cutesy). The pricing is a liiittle much, but the quality of items like the waffles & shaved ice is certainly good! It is often busy, so if your party is more than two people youll probably have to wait for there to be enough seats for you all to sit together. One thing that ASTONISHES me about the place & makes me hesitant to return is the bathroom. It is VERY unkempt & oddly not renovated unlike the rest of the cafe.
After a food crawl we had to get some dessert so we decided to stop in at Sweet Moment. Ordered the mango cheescake bingsoo, would have definitely preferred a larger bowl to mix it all together but know that the aesthetic looks cool having it as a tower. The dessert itself was good but maybe adding a little more mango drizzle would make it amazing. We will most likely be back to try another flavor!
We stumbled upon this place while going back to our parking near china town. Truly amazing. The staff is very friendly and they made sure to get our order on time even though a lot of people had come to pickup. We got the bingsoo milk Shaved Ice cream Macha flavor with strawberry. It was amazing. It was light and tasteful. They have a lot of options. must try place for good dessert.
Super cute space with even cuter milk tea art! We got the matcha and red velvet cream topping on top of our milk tea (and you can get coffee if you want instead). We stayed and sipped on our chilled tea while using the wifi to do some work on our laptop. Each cup was $5 and was about 6-8 oz of drink. Would recommend!
I had a cold brew which was just mediocre. I used to work in the same type of job so I understand the stress but these baristas were slow and inattentive. Literally waited over 30min for a simple iced coffee that only needed pre made coffee. And as I was waiting, the reason for the long wait seemed to me that they were more invested in chatting with coworkers (not on shift) than making orders, which shows to me terrible work ethics on top of mediocre coffee that I could get anywhere else. I didnt have high expectations but like if a lot of people were waiting I would expect a sense of urgency in fulfilling orders.
The food was soooo good, we ordered two large bingsu to eat and I had thought it wouldnt be enough but we could barely finish! Dont underestimate the bingsu! Anyway the flavors were amazing staff were really kind and the store was cute.Bathrooms available at this location
This cafe is tucked away in the streets with steps leading down into the cafe. I ordered the Bulgogi Sandwich with no sauce and egg on the side. The egg was filled with corn and cheese. The bulgogi was heavily seasoned and paired extremely well with the veggies. For my drink, I ordered the yuzu ice ade. It tasted exactly like yuzu (citron) tea but made with sparkling water. It is really refreshing during the summer heat.
I couldnt believe how good their coffee is! And my recommendation to try their food is the bulgogi sandwich, its so good! The staff was all very polite and attentive despite how much customers they were serving due to the bts event they had going on, but overall, quite impressive for a new try-out spot for me. Their cheesecake is soft, creamy, and good for the price being $4.50!
I went here with a couple of my friends. One of them ordered a Nutella waffle, which is the same thing I wanted to order. I was in line immediately after her. After the server took her order, I went up and asked for a Nutella waffle. The dude behind the counter sighed, and condescendingly said Sorry, we arent making that right now. Saved $11 plus tax, never attempting to go here again.
Ok.....hear me out. You are going to blow you mind when you visit this place. Milk ice shavings !! 😳This dessert dish was just amazing. We ordered mango cheesecake bingsoo. It was delicious, the quantity was good. Got brain freeze few times which was worth it.Gonna visit soon again.Go check this place out. Indoor dining open!!!
Probably some of the best banana pudding Ive had in nyc (and yes, Ive had Magnolias), however, the workers are extremely rude. I was there last night, ordered some food, and sat down at one of the tables to get some school work done. About two hours in, a lady came up to me (not sure if she was the manager) and said sorry but we have a no laptop policy on Fridays so Im going to need you to leave. She didnt even give me the option to just put my laptop away, but instead just straight up told me I needed to leave. Meanwhile, there were two other people beside me also on their laptops and she left them alone. Didnt say a word to them. Not exactly sure why she targeted me specifically in front of everyone (might be because I am a poc) but nonetheless, it was humiliating and I will not be returning.
The place its cozy and the food beyond yummy! I asked for a matcha bunny but you have 5 options and all of them can be with tea or coffee.(Warning!: this drinks are cold and they use only half and half, no dairy free!). However if you ask for a regular coffee drink, you can have other kinds of milk. The nutella and strawberries waffle.. OMG! Sooooooo good! (You can share but I wont judge you if you dont want to, lol)The attention was great and the waiting time short. The main problem!: They have one bathroom that doesnt lock so you better go with someone to take care of the perimeter.I think its a great spot to have a sweet treat. And believe me, what you see on those pictures is what you get. So if you go solo, go with an empty stomach. 😉
Such a cute and modern place with some unique and delicious desserts! We ordered the small Mango & Cheesecake and small Melon shaved ice. Both were $7. These are definitely picture worthy desserts. The shaved ice is so yummy, milky, and soft. This is a must go for different and interesting desserts that are delicious!
Such a cute spot for desserts and drinks. Their drinks are the cutest Ive seen in the city. The coconut limited shaved ice could use a bit more thought on it. They charge for a large and the final product is very small. The gold flakes are what makes it pricey and limited. Maybe instead of serving it in a coconut shell maybe decorate it with more coconut instead. In comparison to their other large ices the coconut wow factor fell a bit short.
One of my favorite places in Chinatown to go for drinks. The atmosphere could be a little loud to the sometimes inconsiderate guests, but most of the time it’s still comfortable to sit down and chat. I really enjoy the earl gray latte, black sesame latte, and recently the tiramisu latte was also good. The cream art was also nice and tasty — most of the time I get it with milk tea usually has extremely tasty cream. Taro and matcha are the two I remember trying and they’re extremely tasty. It’s also adorable! They now serve with to go, disposable cups, but I believe they will give reusable if asked!
Loved the cold drink with a littlle cute teddy art on it. The art was so perfect and the cold brew coffee with red velvet rich cream on top was srsly amazing. Costs only 5 bucks. However, the waffle with smoked salmon and egg and avocado was medium. It wasnt anything exceptional but the price was too hight. But the waffle was well cooked and crispy. Big nice clean seating place with great photp opps. Perfect instagrammable photo place.❤
This place is known for their cute art (creamart) drinks...at least that was the reason why I stopped by. From the outside, it didnt look like much, but it was much cozier once inside! Their drinks/food was okay. I really liked their mango cheesecake bingsoo, but it was quite expensive for its size. I could get one that tastes similar and is larger for cheaper in Vancouver. Their creamart drink, while it is cute, did not taste very good. It wasnt sweet at all, and for me personally, I dont like bitter drinks. My friend said the Hot Pink tasted really watered down as well. He had no idea what he was drinking. And the avocado toast was okay...but nothing really unique. Overall, I thought it was overpriced for mediocre food and drink (though everything seems expensive in NYC)
Little cute coffee shop that has art latter and shaved ice. The decoration is really cute. Limited seats. We had chocolate latte and mango cheesecake shaved ice. The latte was only okay, pretty plain but the shaved ice saved the experience. Fresh mango, cremy tart from cheesecake bites, so good. Instagramable too
Great art! Their drinks were so so cute, and they tasted great. My friend and I ordered the matcha and the taro drink, both with milk tea as the base. The black line on top was liquid chocolate, which I managed to taste it out.The designs were soooooo cute. My only complaint was that the cup was small so the drink was finished after 2 sips.
I wasn’t sure what I was expecting but I love it!! I went twice, I got bingsu each time and taro tea the second time. The place was empty and quiet the first time due to weather and time, the second time I went it was a bit more crowded yet still a quiet cafe atmosphere which I enjoyed and the mango bingsu was very delicious!! I will definitely be going again the next time I want a treat :) I recommend taking pictures of your desserts because they make for the cutest and most colorful pictures, Instagram worthy for sure.
My friend kept talking about Sweet Moment and i hsppened to take a client there on a rainy day last week. The place is so cosy, i love all the lights and colors inside! We only had a strawberry ice-cream and a latte but it was fun to see how they make their incredible desserts!I will definitely go back for more and for a vlog!!!
We got the Watermelon BingSoo and it was much more flavorful than we all expected it to be. We didnt expect it to look as amazing as well! Super neat place to have a wide variety of sweets. It is air conditioned for those hot days. And the ice cream definitely helps you cool down. I would highly recommended it if youre in NYC. Seating is good and the employees are helpful and nice. The foods we got were really well made and satisfied our taste buds. Great place to chill your body and to satisfy your sugary needs.
All of the staff is super nice and friendly except for this one guy. He was really cold and dismissive when I asked a question, and while I understand it was busy I think it doesnt take much effort to be polite, even in a short response. Also he NEVER wears a MASK, while the rest of the staff wears does. Its one thing to be rude but rude and maskless while working in the food industry is on another level.
My absolute favorite cafe spot to go to. It’s small and lowkey. Plenty of seating. The staff is very nice. The drinks are phenomenal. I love the flavored ice-ades. My personal favorite are the mango-ade and yuzu-ade. Both are sweet and the yuzu-ade is sour but it’s a sweet sour taste. I love this place so much and it’s so comforting.
Best korean shaved ice!Their flavor taste super fresh, not like some place has artificial taste. And the way they present there shaved ice is super cute. Good spot to hang with couple of friend.I tried most all their flavor, and everything taste amazing!I like mango cheesecake and matcha sesame and melon most so far!
Most of the menu here is just OK, instagram food. Its cute and makes a nice picture but nothing special if youre a real foodie and way overpriced. HOWEVER, the mango cheesecake bingsoo is VALID. Fluffy and creamy, the chunks of mango and mango syrup... Perfection. I havent tried any of the other bingsoo flavors but I dont need to!! The inside is cute and aesthetically pleasing, again very Instagramy! And its surprisingly large and spacious.
Randomly found this place as my friends and I were walking around Chinatown after lunch on Sunday. I really liked that there were pictures of the desserts to help you better understand which dish was what. I would recommend the Watermelon Bingsoo and the Melon Bingsoo! Both were refreshing and delicious.I thought the prices were a bit high for shaved ice, a scoop of ice cream and fruits—the Watermelon Bingsoo was a seasonal one (with a macaron!), was $19 for the regular size—and it wasn’t served in an actual watermelon like depicted in their menu picture.
Such a fun place! The employees are very kind, the atmosphere is chill, everything felt clean, and plenty of seating is available. Came here with a friend dying to try the whipped cream art. The chocolate and matcha whipped cream is so good, as is the cold brew and milk tea, although it is all a little on the sweet side. Cant wait to return and try more!
Cute and spacious cafe. I didnt get the chance to try their shaved ice and waffle, but it smells really good. I tried their cream art and its the cutest thing ever! I couldnt bring myself to drink it. You get to choose one of two base, cold brew or cold milk tea, with one of four cream toppings, matcha, taro, red velvet, or chocolate. For $5, it was totally worth it and was delicious!
The cafe was so cute from the moment we stepped through the door. To the left there was a photo-friendly area and to the right a large picnic table. The different tables scattered around the cafe were really cute and fit that cafe-vibe. The decor was all very cute & cozyWe ordered the milk tea cream art after seeing them all over Facebook and Instagram and honestly, we were not disappointed. Not only were the drinks really cute, but they tasted pretty good too!
Always wanted to try this place as it is all over instagram. Also, they had a $9 for $15 on Groupon, which I got to use. You really go just to take cute pics......Pro- instagram worthy cafe. Very cute interior & pretty desserts. Check my photos- their waffles were the bomb! So good, but somewhat expensive ($11 for two pieces of waffles... but had lots of toppings. Will try again)- their lattes were good (the non-coffee lattes. All latte were very small. I think less than 8oz. But still $5)Con- crowded as many people were doing what I was doing (taking pictures)- coffee was very mediocre :(
I came here at the end of an afternoon and evening in the city with a close friend. I dreaded the walk from midtown to Chinatown but he swore it would be worth it. To say he was right is an understatement. I had the matcha and cheesecake bingsoo. Oh my God it was the star of the day. Served by a nice waiter with a welcoming attitude, this dessert sent me to sweet bliss for 20 minutes. Who ever thought of this combination of flavors deserves a metal. Amazing experience and I cant wait to treat my taste buds to the next sweet moment!
I got the Matcha Strawberry shaved ice when I first came here and then got the dessert waffle with my friend, both were so delicious. The cafe itself was very pretty and the outside seating was good as well. I love coming here to get a quick bite to eat. Theyve also had cupsleeve events and the decorations were so cute.
I had originally thought the cream art was a latte and would be a regular coffee mug size — wrong. It’s actually very small, like a shot glass size, of cold milk/ coffee with a syrup topping on top (red velvet, taro, etc.) I don’t think it was worth $5 but you gotta do whatever for a cute artsy picture. Heard the shaved ice and waffles were good but I wasn’t really too into that at the moment. Will return later in the summer to try those out.
Sweet Moments is a nice cafe located in Chinatown, pretty close to the Canal St. Station. They mainly have shaved ice desserts, waffles, and drinks. Pictured is a small black sesame and red bean shaved ice ($7). It tasted quite good, and was photogenic (yes, this is one of those instagram food places).
This place is definitely one of my favorites and is likely covid or maybe just staffing thats changed. The ambiance continues to be sweet, cozy, whimsical. Sadly though, you order one iced drink, not a big dessert and itll take 15 min or so. This didnt used to be the way. Ive been here several times. It could be they have the same person on register as well as making beverages and people in kitchen for food. Short staffed? It isnt efficient. The space is well lit with lovely hanging lighting, plants in various angles of the space, tucked away as an oasis, with cute latte art, lovely dessert options for summer heat waves. The prices are a bit expensive for coffee thats good but not excellent. This place used to be easily 5 stars as Ive had many meetings and friend hang outs after events since theres something for vegetarians and meat eaters. Who doesnt adore a beautiful dessert? Yet again, lukewarm efficiency and customer service strikes. This is amenable and Im hopeful that it is just covid low customer service support and not a general theme. Come on, be the place we ask want to visit again and again!
Cashier was so rude and unprofessional that you would think the food would at least be better to compensate. She was clearly impatient, but maybe she wouldnt have had to interact with us for so long if she spent less time huffing and giving snarky answers and more time responding to simple menu questions. How were we supposed to have a Sweet Moment when the cashier was so bitter and the syrup was so sour we didnt bother with it? Go to Grace Street instead, some measly watermelon balls and soggy corn flakes arent worth the hassle with young Karen.
Delicious. I found this place randomly on Google maps and said why not? The prices are very fair for the quality of the food, good options, and so tasty.I ordered the tiramisu shaved ice and a bulgogi sandwich(that Ill probably dream about tonight). Get a large to share or if you want a challenge.
The little bears are too cute to drink!! Just FYI the tea or coffee served under the cuteness is cold but dont let that stop you. Anything you order here is tasty. This time I also got the melon shaved ice which tasted like summer. Its a cute space that can get busy but theres plenty of seating.
Such a fun place that also makes shaved ice! Its my first time trying it and is so flavorful and good! I liked the melon one my friends tried the mango which I found a tad too sweet but still really good. I saw someone get a latte and the latte art on it looked adorable! Will definitely be back!
So I can here all the way from Scarsdale, their store says they close at 10pm but when I get to the place they said that theyre close..I got here 4mins pass 9:30pm and couldnt make an acception. Why label yourself open till 10pm. FLASE ADVERTISE MUCH. Change your time to 9:30pm. If you advertise that your open till 10pm customers will expect to be serve till 10pm. And the cashier says that they ran out of ingredients and that the kitchen is close at 9:30pm. FALSE ADVERTISEMENT. Change your time cause after I came other customers literally came in after expected to be serve. Honestly wasted a travel since I traveled far just to try them just to be disappointed. And the person that said they were close was so rude at saying it too like excuse me dont be rude ok.
I drove out from long island specifically to experience sweet moment after seeing their adorable creamart drinks on their website. Walking in, the space is quite chic and you get to stare at brightly colored French macarons and other tasty looking treats while you wait to order. I ordered a red velvet latte and had the opportunity to watch several different types of bingsoo emerge from the back. Each were beautifully constructed and looked very much like the ones featured on their website. There was a slight wait, as the woman behind the counter was also running orders outside to the seating area on the sidewalk, but it was definitely worth it! The staff is polite and very passionate about the customer experience. I will definitely be coming back to indulge and explore their menu a bit further!
This has quickly become one of my favorite and go-to spots for great desserts. Their selection is pretty diverse, from pastries, coffee and different drinks to savory and sweet waffle options. They all taste amazing and the staff is super friendly. They are pretty accommodating as well and willing to work with you depending on what your preferences are. The decor is really pretty as well, with wood finishes on most of the seats and the lighting pretty great for shots. Ive been here 3 times and looking forward to returning again.
Be careful they say they open till 11PM but their last call is at 10:20 according to the cashier working tonight. Other than that their chicken waffles are delicious but a little pricier than expected - one waffle is $15. The bingsoo is good too, but not the best. The presentation is cute and the mango cheesecake ones my favorite at this point, but their melon ones can’t compare to other spots I’ve been to in LA
I went here for a BTS cupsleeve event its SOOOO CUTE!! The host was super duper nice but one thing ruined my mood. I asked one of the workers if I could get a $20 bill since I needed cash and I would pay them back, the lady on the side automatically said “NO” with an attitude I didn’t really mind it until my friend said after I stepped away the lady said “there is the f-ing chase over there” and was talking bad behind my back. I could care less about it but if it wasn’t for this BTS event I would have never come here and this is just disappointing since she could’ve said it nicely. Place is cute but the only thing is the employees are just disappointing.
This place is absolutely incredible. The food and drink were to die for and if youre going to hit up any place in New York make this one of your landmarks!I got the red velvet coffee drink and a waffle with chocolate on top and Ive never felt more happy in a long time. Its the comfort food I never knew I needed! If youre an instagrammer this place will help you out. There are lots of decor and menu items that can make your Instagram feed shine. Ill go there again as soon as I get back to New York City!
Sweet Moment is such a cute place. It has the cutest drinks and some outrageous looking bingsoos- thats why I had to come.Mango Cheesecake($15)- 4/5 This was huge but its mostly just shaved ice and it was a bit pricey. The mangoes tasted great though. My s/o really liked it. Overall it was a really fun dessert to conquer.
This place was amazing! Their selection of coffees, beverages and pastries were wide in variety! Being a woman and needing to use restrooms and not have to pay for an item is especially valuable. Although they have a sign that states you need to make a purchase in order to use the restroom, they did allow me the use. Im forever thankful. Chinatown is busy and they are very limited on public restrooms! I would strongly encourage businesses to open their restrooms for women and children! My daughter, 6 month old grandbaby and I were having real issues with locating restrooms.
This place has nice design. Plenty of seating to enjoy a large selection of sweets. The Matcha and Strawberry waffle was great if youre a matcha lover. Definitely a five star desert and sweets location. Very cute latte art is an added bonus. Friendly service and patient with your selections.
This place is good for desserts. The desserts come in 2 different sizes 14 oz or 32 oz. The 32 oz ids good for 2 people to share. The desserts come out pretty quick. They also have got drinks here. You can get bottled drinks also like coconut water. They have a good variety of shaved ice here. They do have a watermelon shaved ice but that is seasonal. They have a good amount of seats.
Everything looks beautiful, the flavored milk tea (you can choose between milk tea or coffe, and the color is actually the flavor that you choose) have really cute drawings on them, they are actually cold drinks, not like hot latte art. I highly recommend the mango flavored ice cream, really delicious.
I found this place a week ago through a google search, but it was a wonderful spot to get away from the heat with some yummy treats! The staff was patient and helpful when I was indecisive about what to order (I couldnt decide between the matcha red bean bingsu or the black sesame red bean >_
The ABSOLUTE cutest desserts, amazing latte art and delicious waffle plates if you want a quick savory bite. The staff are friendly, the atmosphere is chic, and just about everything you could order from here is Instagram worthy. Worth it to walk through crowded China Town to find this gem.
Very cool place. Sweet moment has Instagramish vibe to it. Menu items and decor is perfect for Instagram pictures. We were here for cute Cream art but other items on menu looked good as well.FYI, cream art is not latte. It is served cold.If you are nearby definitely try Sweet Moment.
There is beautiful aesthetics. However it takes long for employees to be upfront in the cashier. All of them are usually doing the drinks and food. So it takes a while to wait for them to take your order. Food is great and cute but a bit overpriced but what can you expect for aesthetically pleasing food.
I liked the different experience and almost felt sorry for drinking my art latte because it looked so cute :) the girl who designed it was smiling and friendly too. The lady at the cashier not so much unfortunately. The drink tasted very good btw. The macaron and the banana bread were not a good choice. Thats why I took one star off. I knew from previous reviews that prices were higher than usual thats why I was prepared for that. The art is worth the money!
Their shaved ice is non like other. I recommend the black sesame matcha. It has so many parts, too much to write in one review so you will have to come and try for yourself. But a bit shame that if you order the half size, there are components missing compared to the larger sized one. Staff is very friendly and you need a key for the bathroom!

2022-07-15I loved it so much. Its a Korean cafe with very nice specialty coffee (my flat white was delicious) and specializing in bingsu and waffles with toppings. I had black sesame red bean bingsu and it was amazing. It comes with some crunchy cereal and little mochi pieces. I saw they have melon and watermelon bingsu as season specials, they all look amazing. The interior is cozy, calm and inviting.

2022-04-17Will be visiting again! Wonderful dessert options with shaved ice. We loved the mango cheesecake shaved ice. The nutella strawberry was great too. Some of their macarons were stale and hard, but would definitely recommend trying the shaved ice desserts.

2022-04-23Quite neighborhood cafe/dessert spot. We came here for the shaved ice and was not disappointed. Even though we ended up doing take away it was delicious. Great dense milk shaved ice, good portions, takeaway comes with a ice pack to keep it frozen. Service was quick and friendly. We’ll be back again :)

2022-07-14I’ve been coming to sweet moments for a few years now ever since they turned ownership and rebranded (used to be a cafe bene). They make some of the BEST shaved ice, so many fun flavors. You can get either individual cup sizes or a large one to share. Sadly, I’m not sure where I saved the photos of the larger shaved ice desserts I have tried, but trust me when I say they are beautiful to look at and delicious. I believe the ice part of the shaved ice is ice milk, and it is very soft and fluffy like freshly fallen snow. The flavors are not too in your face and the ice cream and other toppings always pair well. It’s the kind of dessert that is both indulgent, but also light enough that I can keep eating it forever. Their drinks are also pretty good, I have yet to try the waffles and sandwiches but they look and sound good too. Highly recommend, it is also a nice place to sit down and chill with your friends.EDIT: been back a couple times more and have added more pics from most recent visits. Still love this place

2021-12-07They have to have the best macaroons Ive ever had. The sandwich I had was great too. I just wish this cute drink was warm but it was good as well. It was pretty packed on a late weekday afternoon so I ended up sitting on a park style table bench in the front. Interior could be more inviting.

2021-11-17Excellent coffee, friendly service, quick turnaround. Ample space to get some work done, quiet and clean lobby. Earl grey pudding is dank as well. Highly recommended!

2022-03-22A cozy cafe to have afternoon tea time. They have the teddy bear art served with earl grey or coffee, with chocolate/matcha/red velvet flavor. Cute! 🐻

2022-06-05Pretty disappointed. I got a matcha latte and it just tastes like milk that’s green. The yuzu-ade doesn’t really taste like yuzu. The mango shaved ice just tastes like solid milk with a few mango fruit bites.
