This place was delicious. If Im ever in another city with one of these it is going to be a must! Multiple gluten free/vegan dressings and plethora of options on the bowls.
I came at the end of the night so I get that you might run out of some ingredients but they should tell you that BEFORE they start making your salad. They ran out of 2 of the ingredients and I said no onion and she put EXTRA onion. I had to throw the entire salad away it was so gross. It’s too expensive to be messing up the order that bad.

Terrible customer service! Rude staff! I do believe due to unhappy work environment, the customers pay the price. Besides being rude to customers, our salad was missing pecans, apple and goat cheese, not to mention the small amount served, baby portion size! Sweetgreen Corporation needs to be aware what’s going in this specific place. Not in a million years I will come back here again, no way! Pay to receive bad service, rolling eyes and poor food? NO THANKS!!!
They list out where they source their ingredients, display them in the back like a grocery store, and taste really, really good.If you look into their company, they teach kids about nutrition, host block parties, and host events at farm-to-table restaurants like Blue Hill. I dont live near a sweetgreen but everytime I travel, I get some.

Really good salads! A great value for the price as the bowls are huge.You can choose from many different toppings and variety of salads.They also have some house made drinks that aren’t bad if you like teas that aren’t sweet!
Completely turned off by the disrespect of an employee there today. Always order my salads online to pick up in store on my lunch break. Usually don’t have a problem at the Kenmare location until today. My salad was not ready at the pick up station to just grab and go at the time I selected. I stood there waiting for someone to help me. No one was attentive. Saw my salad laying rite behind the counter with my name on it, took maybe two steps behind the counter to grab my salad and an employee cutting food freaked out saying o no you can’t do that, you can’t do that with a nasty tone and attitude. I’m sorry the whole purpose of ordering online is for convenience and to beat the line. My salad should of been at the pick up station available for me to grab and go and on top of it someone should of approached me when I was standing their waiting. Customer service absolutely horrible!
Truly fresh ingredients that are locally sourced. Usually this is a gimmick to make food sound fresh, but here you actually can taste the love of each farm. Only cons are this is reflected in the pricing along with their not being many options available as opposed to a place like fresh&co.
Dont be intimidated by the long line! It moves fast and you wont be waiting longer than 5 minutes. Salads are delicious and healthy. With tons of options and a create your own selection. Will definitely come back for lunch again!
Delicious food at a great price. I have lunch here 3+ times a week. It’s a great portion size and tastes great. They have plenty of vegan and vegetarian options and the staff recognizes me when I come. It’s often packed but you can order online and skip the line. Honestly I don’t know why everyone doesn’t. Anyway it’s highly recommended for vegetarians and carnivores alike.
I will forever love sweetgreen! This location does get busy but if youre in a rush, you can always order ahead as an option. Everything is reasonably priced considering the quality of the produce & ingredients. I like that they try to source locally & use what is in season. Ive always had a good experience here with the workers always being kind no matter how long the line of customers is out the door.
I have lost track of how many times I’ve eaten here. It is great EVERY time. Great salads and warm (salad with rice or quinoa) salads and I love their seasonal options. You can never go wrong with Guacamole Greens and when in season, I highly suggest the Curry Cauliflower. Both my favorites.
It doesnt really get any better than sweetgreen! Fresh ingredients that are locally sourced and an amazing brand that stands for nutrition and enabling an overall healthier lifestyle. In addition to great salads, they have community events that bring like-minded people in your city together around healthy events and conversations. Also, as a vegetarian, I really appreciate that they cut the cost when you remove meat from your salads!
Fantastic customer service. Best I’ve ever seen in food service, not to mention I went at peak lunch hour. They were extremely attentive and knowledgeable when it came to substitutions for my allergies. The prices were very reasonable considering how high quality the ingredients are. Everything was perfect. I’ll be back again and recommend to everyone!
Great place for a custom made salad. However, sometimes the online order process does not work very well and your salad is not ready at scheduled time. Also, several times I saw patrons with dogs inside (nolita location). They should not allow this to happen. Another issue is the pick up area, anybody can go there and touch any salad.
Wonderful salad shop, offering a number of different and unique salads, which are also very large in size. The location can be quite crowded though depending on the day, so plan to not have seating room available and make an unexpected takeout.
This is the worst sweetgreen, especially compared to the Flatiron and Williamsburg locations. Staff is rude and only half mixes your salad, also they’re always out of stuff and charge you extra to replace it with something else.It’s still sweetgreen though, so the food is really good.

I’m standing there waiting to be helped for 10 minutes, no one says anything. I’m like ok, they are busy talking and laughing amongst themselves and no one greets me to say we will be with you in a moment. Sweet greens salad are great but find staff with some ‘Customer Service’ as well.
Out of all of the salad focused shops out there, Sweetgreen is the best. Its clean, ingredients are fresh and locally sourced, employees are friendly and dressings are delicious. This particular location is the best because it isnt overly crowded and the employees are more than happy to indulge my weird creations and requests.
Best salad in nyc. My favorite is guacamole green. I add sweet potato and egg. They put very little children 😣. They have lots of customization but that could easily add up$$. I come here 2 to 3 times a week. All ingredients are fresh. And I can say how awesome there dressing are.
Harvest Bowl was Bomb! Would ask for light dressing next time because medium was a bit much but other than that amazing! Also i switched out kale for spring mix. Ate it too fast to take a picture but will definitely be going back and will make sure to take pics before I open it. Eat here!

The food is usually pretty good although there are a few things I would avoid. The Falafel is like eating dehydrated cat food. The spicy broccoli tasted a little off - like it had been in the fridge for too long. The real problem with this place is the staff. The crew they picked to work there are generally rude and obnoxious. They get the order right about half the time. If you order a salad without the dead animal in it - they dont like to take the price off the total. If you want to pay in cash they glare at you. The staff and the management is why you should never eat there.
Sweetgreen is the place to go if youre craving a salad (they dont offer much else). Choose from their list or create your own. Fresh, locally-sourced ingredients. Good portion sizes. Fairly affordable. Aesthetically pleasing interior. Magazines like The New Yorker and Lucky Peach to read while youre eating. Always delicious. What more can you ask for?
Literally staff here could not be more miserable. At 8:30P (well before closing) they were out of 2 ingredients for my meal... why would I pay $14 for a salad if you can’t master service and keeping food in stock??? Won’t be back to this location.
I moved out of this neighborhood and I miss Sweetgreen every. day. Great, fresh ingredients, the staffers are among the nicest Ive found in the city, and the space is gorgeous. Just be careful of the long lines on weekday lunches - dont come from 11:30-1:30 if youre in a rush.

Horrible ServiceThey have the worst lunch service when it is busy. They do not pay attention, they do not listen and they will ruin your lunch and not give one damn about it.I had very specific requests that were not adhered to. I asked for no tomatoes, guess what? Theres tomatoes in there. I asked for medium dressing, this salad is a dry as a bone!I asked for a side of dressing, num. num pours the dressing into the cup, but does not include it in the salad. Like how could you have so little follow through on that action??Then you have no ability to call them, only text! Hot garbage. Avoid, avoid avoid. Sweetgreen staff was also useless and unhelpful over text.I didnt get this for free you jerks, I paid money for it. What a joke!
I have eaten a lot of salad and Ive never had better salad then at sweet green. Make your own though. The magic is in the ingredients not the recipes (though they are good)
Always good, my crew loves this place. We eat here at least twice a week, so many options for everyones tastes. Theres always a long line to order but if you order online you can pick it up very quickly.
I used to hate salads until I tried this place.
The salads are sooooo good here. Its funny, because this place is just down the street from where I live, and I never went until 6 months after living there. I had a seasonal specialty the first time... It was called Beet Dont Kale My Vibe. Of course I had to have that. It was hella good. The second time I went, I had myself the OMG Omega with kale instead. No complaints there.Love coming here. Theyre so fast and efficient as well. Cant go wrong.
Amazing spot to grab something healthy and delicious! Even when the line is out the door you are in and out in less than 10 minutes! Quality is incredible and Christian (one of the managers) is on top of it with awesome customer service! So glad to have here in nolita
The customer service at every sweetgreen is superb but one thing that makes this spot unique is that staff walk out behind the counter to greet you and take your order. It’s that little, proactive detail that makes for such a nice experience. Also, today Wynter gave me her secret Kale Caesar hack and it made for the best salad I’ve had at sweetgreen yet. And I had over 300 sweetgreen salads last year. So yea, huge thanks to Wynters help today and everyone’s help everyday. Her daily go to has now become my daily go to. She had the passion (to share) and now I have the purpose (to keep eating more dope salad).

The staff is really friendly and personable. I had the Elote bowl and it was really really good. I added chicken and it was super filling. They dont accept cash so have a card ready.
The space itself is really nice and spacious the salad choices didnt wow me. It felt like any other salad shop but with higher prices for a smaller portion compared to the other salad shops in the area.

I was seating inside in a table while my husband was inline to order and a “gentleman” sweetgreen associate named Ben came to me and without asking any questions told if I was not ordering anything that I should leave the store.

I didnt like anything, my first experience in there today I received so many sarcastic expressions and attitude. For asking a few questions ? I was so uncomfortable waiting for my food and been stared at with attitude. I received no greeting, no thanks for my purchase, no anything. Jut disrespect. I dont think I will ever be back to this location. I do NOT reccomend this spot.

This specific store is chronically a mess and looks just dirty3. Your staff couldn’t be slower more incompetent or less friendly (seriously though, where do you find these people?)4. orders are never ready when they say they are- your employees are NOT honest5. always out of something. 2022-03-02Too bad I wasnt able to give a negative star. I came to this location tonight for my orders Ive placed online. When I got home, I found this clumped up cucumbers which were frozen and iced. The staffs looked and sounded unhappy. I will not be coming back here.

2020-03-11David Chang definitely came through with this one. Had the tingly sweet potato + kelp salad with some spinach. I was wowed by the flavours of the Momofuku Tingly Japanese sweet potatoes and the lime squeeze and lime cashew dressing. Combined with the other ingredients, this healthy bowl was a great find in Little Italy and definitely one to go back for. Dont have the drinks from the fountains though. They taste like watered down piss. And the ladies at the till were so helpful. They showed an exceptional interest in this customer and made the visit worthwhile

2018-05-14This sweetgreen is one of my favorite of their locations. I love the open space inside. The others get packed and become chaotic quickly during lunch time. The staff here is always sweet and friendly serving the freshest ingredients for a scrumptious salad. I love this place!

2019-06-10“Save time by ordering online!” Oh, wait, everyone here ordered online, and the place is packed wall-to-wall with people waiting. Total chaos. They’re more than 45 minutes behind scheduled pick-up times. It would have been significantly faster to just stand in line and order on the spot, but when you’ve already ordered on line, you’re stuck waiting for who knows how long. How does anyone have time for this?Sure, you could just assume your order will be 45 minutes late, but the website says orders will be discarded 30 minutes after the scheduled pick-up time, so you’d risk losing your order altogether. No-win situation.

2021-08-02I adore sweetgreen. If you’ve never had it, you should absolutely try it. Their berry burrata salad this summer is amazing. If you’ve had it before, this location is nice. Clean, lots of space inside for the line, and lots of seating outside, although not super cute seating area, just very functional.
