Pickup order took forever. People walking in to order were in and out and people waiting for pickup orders were left wondering why the person at the counter was just killing time looking at their phone. Like cmon make a salad. Help out.
The salads are delicious just give you small portions you pay a lot the servers are rude I know working in New York tuff but s servers need to take their misery some where else if you pay for a service and you a regular customer you shouldn’t be treated this way
Would give zero stars. Employee rolled eyes and smacked lips when I walked in. I said hi how are you… no response. I walked out rather be hungry than have angry people making my food.
The staff here is so rude and hostile. I was yelled at when the order didn’t go through because the guy who ringed me up left before he could notify that I was paying with the app. She actually raised her voice and tried to embarrass me? Ive never been treated like that ever. Also, they love to have conversations amongst themselves during ordering process which results in them messing up my order. This location needs serious help. 1/14/22 at Noon.
Don’t try to buy a salad at this location just before they close. It doesn’t matter if it’s 8:50pm (they close at 9pm), they will tell you they are closed!So sad to see a team that is not committed to the business. Workers there look unhappy with their jobs! No warmth towards clients.
I just left one of the best Sweetgreen experiences!The store on 61st + Lex is now my new favorite location!The wonderful associates that helped me was Lillie and Christie!They made me feel welcome and didn’t rush me through. They also were so accommodating of my changes to the salad.I felt so taken care of that I even asked to speak with the manager about the outstanding service these two women provided me with.I know it gets busy and stressful and these two ladies went above and beyond to provide me with a GREAT experience! Thanks for making my day ladies, YOU ROCK!
I come here and they’re expensive and they serve a little bit of salad. Everything is little portions and that’s not right at all for a salad to come out to $16.00 I’m eating like a kid portion. They said people complain about the portion being too much doesn’t make sense. Need more greens guys !
Ordered online, they gave me almost half of the portion, added only 2 small pieces of beats, few pieces of chicken. Only this location is different, always giving a half portions..
Consistently bad - this is by far the worst SG location ive been to. Employees are more interested in standing around joking than taking your order and they skimp on the portions. This half full bowl cost $13! Nonsense

What a rip off, my second try with Sweetgreens and Im done. The salmon was the size of my finger. Cabbage was brown and stale. $17 no thanks Id rather starve.
Picked off the rotted (black mush) cilantro from my salad yesterday but still had food poisoning (102 degree fever and all the classic symptoms). SG, train your employees to throw away your old produce. You need better quality control especially if you are looking to be a publicly traded company.
Terrible customer service. For $15 you get almost no food (a few leaves of greens). And when you ask them to add rice to the bowl they switch it for a smaller bowl. If you ask them to put it in the original bowl they refuse. They would rather lose customers (walk out empty handed) than accommodate them. This is not an issue with any other fast food restaurant (ie Chipotle or Dig Inn). Being cheap is a bad business model.
The salad was only half full and very poorly crafted.
DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION!!GO TO 55TH & PARK, OR 71ST & 1ST.The staff here is incredibly rude, and I’ve had multiple negative experiences.I would not go back again, and my office, who normally places very large lunch orders will never return here.The whole reason we come to Sweetgreen is to have our bowl exactly the way we like it. The associates I dealt with, Dada and Avril were very rude and did not have the mentality of wanting to make the customer happy! During Covid most businesses value their costumers and want to make them happy. We pay $14 for a salad to get it the way we like. Terrible customer service!
The place is nice & clean bright very comfy to dine in or take out. The food is so nice & fresh but the attitudes of the workers was sour!!! I don’t understand how you have a great place with people how have bad attitudes working there. That in itself turns you off to the whole experience. I did enjoy my food very much & I would definitely go again & hopefully get treated better with a little smile & a little kindness. Thank you for serving healthy food in a yummy way!!
Just ordered the buffalo chicken salad. The chicken was under cooked and had a rubber texture a bit pinkish. Had absolutely no seasoning. Absolutely disgusting. I do not recommend this place . If I get food poisoning I’m suing
Hey that dark skin woman needs to fix her attitude because she talks with hostility. They werent accepting cash and said she can make it with an attitude and when I asked for extra meat she questioned how I ask for extra. She talks slowly with frustration like I was a problem. Shes lucky no one went upside her head because she gets bad reviews from everyone.
Levels of hostility I havent seen before at a sweet green. Visited on sep 13th around 4:30pm.Kitchen counter wasnt very clean either(I though me and my friend were the only ones who got “special treatment” here, it looks like I was wrong)
This locations literally gets your online orders incorrectly, I’ve had contacted customer care before about this issue and they gave me a free salad. But at this point it’s been about the 4th maybe 5th time since this has happened. I don’t understand what’s so hard to follow a piece of printed out paper in front of you to add in a bowl. I’m not even interested in this location at all anymore completely given up. I would rather walk 13 blocks to the next location to have my salad made correctly, who leaves out the main ingredients like chicken it’s a premium on the menu.So again whoever runs this store please get your employees a bit more training as they really are not caring what they put in the salads. I mean i wouldn’t mind coming and making my own salad if i need to.Thanks! Not.

This is our offices go to lunch spot. The staff are all amazing. Orders are always correct. Orlando and Akeem are the best. Orlando always remembers your name and is very professional. Even when they are extremely busy Orlando always takes time to greet you and see if there is anything else you need. Sweetgreen has multiple locations but the staff at the 61st and Lex location make you feel like this is your local neighborhood eatery.

Worst services ever one of the employee that assisted me was Absolutely rude.She made it seem that I was inconveniencing her time and effort for her to help me with my order. All I wanted to do is make sure what I was ordering is what I wanted and every question I asked was as if I was annoying her every step of the way.
Disappointed. The Harvest bowl poster showed and said seared chicken thighs but got boiled cubed skinless chicken breasts instead in featured Harvest salad. Need more serving staff, very slow service. Salad not mixed adequately. No toilets, which is an NYC negative. Clean and tasty salads. Im a regular to SG here and in California but this store was below grade.
Found a worm in my food. I’ve had great experiences at other sweetgreens but it just so turns out this spot is the worse. Harvest bowl wasn’t as good as other spots. Just never coming here again. Let’s just hope I don’t get sick. Cause that’s when the real sh*t will hit the fan.
The service wasn’t too bad very friendly staff. However the woman who seems to be in charge is always yelling at her employees and they seem to be poorly trained. I go in there everyday for lunch and the new employee didn’t know if the bread had glutton in it (asked by another customer) I don’t blame her because this is something that should be covered while training. Overall good service; the woman in charge however needs to do better with her staff.
I love the food. It was my first time there so had no expectations but it was really good (I took the harvest bowl) the only thing is where we were at (E 61st street in Manhattan) there was no place to charge the phone and no bathrooms. Other then that really nice
A very good place if you like all-natural salads. The lines can get long and they dont take cash, but if that works for you, its a good place to try. They also really stick to health foods so they dont have a lot of cream-based salad dressings, for instance.
Best salad place EVER! I highly highly recommend the Harvest Bowl, and would probably eat it 5 times per week if I could. The salads are pricy, but well worth it. I’ve been introducing everyone I know to this place.
Very slow service. Rude when asked how much longer the food was going to take (this was 15 min after my pick up time). They should stop taking new orders if they can’t keep up with pick up times.
Appalling pick up with continuing delay over and over again. Last week gave no excuse for 20+ Minutes lateness, today’s reason is system malfunction! Curious what the next excuse is for bad SLA!! Clearly very poor operation and unacceptable customer service.

I purchased $25 gift card for my co-worker. The card balance was 0 when she tried to use it. Ofcourse it was embarassing. I don’t have a receipt and they giving me huge problems with getting the money back.Customer service sucks. And the salads are overpriced.
Food is as good as it’s supposed to be. But I would expect to pickup my mobile order from the shelves not being told to pickup at the chekout counter. The manager of this location should know sometimes people want a grab and go just to avoid communicating with the RUDE AND UNTRAINED employees.

I love sweetgreen - it’s always so yummy, but this location doesn’t have a bathroom, so that’s a bit of a disappointment. We also went once 30 minutes after they opened and they didn’t have a grains (rice, quinoa, etc) for he salads...why would you open and not have the food prepared? There are other locations I prefer over this one.
So I ordered a Harvest Bowl. It states on the menu that this item is supposed to be warm and served with rice. Instead I recieved a cold salad with no rice and too much goat cheese (overpowered the other ingredients). The salad itself was good but it isnt what I ordered! The girl who made it even asked if I wanted rice, I said Yes and she still didnt put any rice!! When I told her my order initially, she just stared at me and then abruptly started making it; no response to me, no Okay or anything. The girl at the cash register was nice but come on Sweetgreen. This location also has zero seating and the ambiance is neither warm nor welcoming.
Theyre SUPPOSE to close at 10pm. I walk in at 9:40pm and theyre already closing up and wont serve my girlfriend and I food. I understand you want to start getting ready to close up early, but 20 mins early?? And not serving us food?? Its a salad shop its not like they have to prepare the food. Unforgettable!
Im convinced SG uses this location as a training facility. Foods the same, but customer service is atrocious. Staff is incompetent which affects the quality of the salads they are making. The location further north on 1st is way better.

Sweetgreen has continually degraded in quality over the past couple years while simultaneously increasing prices. This location has seen one of the biggest drops in quality though. The ingredients are far less fresh - Ive gotten a salad with completely rotten arugula, another with freezer-burned chickpeas, and another with 3 of the ingredients missing. Its still better than the Just Salad or Chopt salads straight from the aughts, but really far from the fresh, modern salads youd get on the West Coast or Europe.
Extremely rude staff gossiping the entire time cursing and not knowing how to make certain salads. Young guy arguing with boss. Didn’t ask me if I wanted bread and at the end I asked for a slice and the girl threw it into my container and said she hates her job. Never coming to this location again.
I love SweetGreen and it is always fresh and staff is clean/service oriented - BUT this location does not live up to its generally high customers satisfaction. Some staff were eating salad ingredients while standing at their station and chatting among themselves while i was waiting - i was the only customer there at that time. (I know it was slow time but still eating ingredients at the station is not something a customer wants to see). Also when i was paying the price changes due to taking out some cheese/substitution were not reflected at all - i couldnt be bothered to correct the error. FYI, no seating area in this location. 2 stars as i still love their food. (Bad customer service, untidy station with SweetGreen food- basically i wouldnt go back to this location).
Never work there....good salads but a nasty store manager...talks to the workers in a very unprofessional manor. She allows managers to bring their babies and leave them in service areas. My first two weeks i told Dada the head Coach of sweetgreen on 61 and Lexington that that the customers where complaining that the avocados were bad. I told her i agreed with the customers, she told me sell it until you get a complaint. Dada has no integrity. Waterbugs in the basement. I have made complaints with sweetgreen peoplesupport they have done nothing. I would never recommend anyone i know to work at the sweetgreen on 61 and Lexington. The district manager peter did nothing. This head coach has had numerous HR complaints but sweetgreen will not reprimand her. This Sweetgreen doesnt care about there customers or workers. I wish i could post the recordings im just going to bide my time. Im leaving soon but i think sweetgreen has some great customers, and they deserve better.

Took so long to even get served that we couldn’t even order before we got frustrated and left. This wasn’t because they were busy but because they didn’t care enough to actually serve their customers. Will not be returning to this location.
These folks used to be good and i have been there often for the last six months, but recently they have gone downhill. they give you less quantify, forge to offer bread or not but it in, and charge and make mistakes in the charges. i had to train their employee today and she was arguing with me and she finally realized that she was wrong. i feel bad for the workers, since they try but the training may have been bad too.

OMG -we LOVE this place. Really understand why there are so many lines. Freshest and delicious food! Line goes quickly and it is worth it. Try a bit of an off time to get through with almost no wait.
If leaving no stars was an option I would. I got a Kale Caesar today and had sharp pains in my abdomen as soon as I had a few bites. When I got back to work, I got sick. Not sure what they put in their salads but definitely not coming back.
I was there tonight, 9/28/18 @ 730pm. The service was lousy. When I got home, the server didnt put my almonds or goat cheese in my harvest bowl. My buddy order was jacked up too. More than three items were missing. If l lived around the corner, I would have brought it back, l was already uptown before I discovered the blunder. The night shift crew was the pits.
I had the kale salad which I felt was mediocre. I felt the service was rushed and when I got to work my lid on my salad was not closed properly closed and spilled.
Ordered salad online and it was late. Had to wait in line with other customers just to know where to pick up the salad and when it would be ready because this store doesn’t place the salads ordered online on the pickup shelves

2022-02-03Walked in to the staff yelling at a seamless delivery guy. The person making my salad was incredibly rude and wasn’t acknowledging any of my requests. The portions were absolutely terrible compared to other locations and had to beg for a piece of bread. Do not recommend this location.

Prepares by the staff.Order by app or ask by delivery. Razonable for Organic veggies prices.Dressing. Chips. Focaccia. To taste ypur salad.

2022-07-16It was good except I paid $3 for sweet potato and got like three little slices like scraps and there wasnt any spicy broccoli. My total was $17 I expect it to come with everything as shown. I had about 3 random pieces of cabbage not even a pinch like pictured. Hopefully better next time only because it was pretty tasty.

2022-06-30I like sweet greens over chopt and just salad but this location is just the worse sweet greens you can ever go. The servers are rude and not professional at acknowledging the orders, one time this girl talked back to a customer “you don’t need to tell me twice” was just mind blowing. The portion at this location was also pathetic, half of the size what I usually get and avocado is not fresh, they always look oxidized and sad, definitely not worth $15 for a salad that I can make my own for $10 at a much better quality. I only gave an extra star just because it’s very close to my gym but I’m definitely switching my salad spot to just salad nearby.

2022-05-01A bit pricey but Im hooked... Ive been going consistently on my lunch break for two weeks now. Super healthy & always feel full afterwards. I usually get Kale with wild rice as my base, then broccoli, beets, apples, & sweet potatoes with blackened chicken & a squeezed lemon on top. Im not a fan of salad dressing but they have a variety for those who want some.

2022-06-09I like the sweetgreen chain but not this location. Portion sizes are half they are at other locations and the food isnt as fresh. This place is very close to my work location so its tempting but I am always disappointed.
