Taco Bell in other cities:
Ordered online for a drive-thru order. Arrived at Taco Bell and got in line to pick up our food. Cars ahead of us pulled up to the speaker and waited. Tried asking hello, and nothing. They ended up leaving as did the other 3 cars ahead of us. We pulled up to the speaker and no one was there. Pulled up to the window and looks like the place was abandoned. There were no signs anywhere saying they were closed.
Waited 30 minutes in line before our order was taken - the line always takes forever to move. The kid over the speaker was dull and uninviting, but the kid at the window was great. He had a great attitude and was visibly enjoying his job. The food was warm - definitely not hot, but was flavorful.
My frustrations are not rooted at the employees but more so the app and inconsistency with DT and cafe around mobiles. I mobile and if I choose cafe pick up I would expect to pick up in side; if the only option was DT then I would adjust my plan. However, stop allowing me to order for cafe pick up when that is not an option (multiple times) then if I choose not to wait in 25+ car line (I ordered 15-20 mins earlier) please allow me to cancel my order. As the team inside is too busy to answer the phone. I would also add half the time my order is wrong or cold by the time I get it.
Super slow and their employees talk to you like hoodlums! I couldnt believe the way they interacted over the drive-thru intercom with customers! Then, the food was basically thrown in the bag with my taco fries all over the place! The Cortland location has gone to hell! When it was new in Cortland the service was awesome back in the day....
I dont normally eat Taco Bell or any fast food, but I hadnt had it in a few years so my girlfriend and I decided to get some on a whim. We went through the drive-thru and werent impressed at all. We waited in the drive-thru for about a half hour before we got our food. Then we realized they forgot something in our order. The doors were locked so we had to go back through the drive-thru. We then waited again for about another 20-30 mins just to get our food they forgot. They never apologized or even said anything at all when handing me the bag. Probably wont go here again.
The first time through the drive thru it took 25 minutes to get through and they gave us the wrong order. We went back through the drive thru and waited another 25 mins to pull up to the window, then they told us to pull to the front of the restaurant so they could unlock it to fix the order. After waiting outside for 10 mins we went back through the drive thru and waited another 25 minutes to get to the window. The staff were rude and all of the food in the replacement order was smashed. The only polite person was the ordertaker, who clocked out halfway through the time we were waiting. Our order was taken at 9:44 and we got done at 11:20pm. Other places have much better customer service, like Burger King or Wendy’s. 8/2/2021
While the food here is good (even though its not truly Mexican food, but an Americanized version of Mexican food) they really need to step up their pace at the Cortland location. Ive been there several times in the last 3 months and every time the drive-thru takes longer! I shouldnt have to wait in line for more than 25 minutes. Ive had my car overheat waiting! Yesterday was the last straw. Therefore, I informed my family: if theres more than 5 cars at the drive-thru, were going somewhere else, unless we can go in. And if we do, and end up standing in line more than 5 minutes, were leaving. Wed get served faster at Moes on the other side of town, Im sure.
Im writing this as a door dash driver, so the most important part for me would be the wait time, which was horrendous. There was a really long drive thru line that wasnt moving when we got there. There were like 10 people already in line. A few of people got out of line while we were waiting. I feel like only delivery drivers stayed in that line, because they were getting paid for staying there. This wouldnt be a problem if the inside was open, but the cafe part closes when it gets too late. Its a shame because I heard the lobby was really nice and clean. I felt bad for the employee that took our order, he sounded sad.
There is not a SINGLE instance since re-opening from their renovation that I have received an order, EXACTLY as it was ordered. The screen reflects my order, EVERY time, and EVERY time, SOMETHING is incorrect. I have yet to see the same staff in the building twice, so maybe thats the issue. Or, maybe, Im just expecting too much from a fast food restaurant.Suggest a Reading course for your staff. This is ridiculous.
Ok so, Ive been here a few times. Usually something small like missing sauces not a big deal, everytime I go here somthing small is messed up or missing though. But Im to lazy to cook and I want tacos so I continue to come back. I will be looking for another lacation after tonight though. I pulled in, had a 25 minute wait to order and receive my food. The guy running the register seemed as of he were high. Then I go to leave, take off check my order its all messed up, I wont get into all the details. I pull back around to have my order corrected, took 45 minutes just to get to the window because the same guy was running drive through again and couldnt seem to comprehend I already ordered I wanted my order corrected. Pull up get attitude over the mistake she fixed it. I leave I check the order again. All 7 tacos were wrong and all 7 had a pick literally a 2 finger pinch of meat on them. They were sloppy and cold. I will not come here again and I will be in contact with corporate. I understand weed is legal now but when you pull up to the window of a resaraunt I shouldnt be able to smell it.
Says that they are open until 2am and Its 8:30pm and the dining room is closed! ...even though on-line states that its open. Drive thru is open but I wanted to place a larger order and its easier to order that inside and make sure I have everything.I drove out of my way to come here. Never again!!!!
Normally this Taco Bell is ok but the last 3 times that my husband and I have gone we have received cold food, incorrect food, or have been charged an incorrect amount for the food! The attitude that I got as I was trying to place the order was horrible. The person kept saying what after each item that I was trying to order. GET YOUR STUFF TOGETHER PEOPLE!
Food was pretty good but I’ve got to make a complaint about the drive-thru. I’m pretty sure Taco Bell is considered a fast food franchise—please correct me if I’m wrong. This Taco Bell does not operate with a fast food vibe. I waited 25 minutes in the drive-thru line just to get to the actual Ordering part. There were 18+ cars waiting in the drive-thru line and, for whatever reason, the doors to access the inside of the Taco Bell were locked. It was my understanding that this location has dine-in hours until 8 pm—per the hours listed online (again, please feel free to correct me if I’m wrong). I arrived/attempted entry to the restaurant at 5:50 pm. Not sure if there has been a change of access hours due to Covid; however, if there was, it was not advertised Anywhere on the doorway. Please up your game to move that drive-thru at a fast-food pace. Otherwise, your location becomes a Last-food option.
Best fast food experience of my life! These guys went above and beyond. After striking out on a Monday night at every other place in town since they were all closed we went the way of the bell. We had a large box truck that wouldn’t fit in the drive through so an extremely nice employee took our order from the parking lot as our truck stalled. I was able to repair the truck quickly and they asked if there was anything they could do to help. Luckily it was a plug and no real problem to fix. Friendly staff, helpful and polite. I would do anything for the staff there as they helped make a bad night so much better. I’ve never left a fast food place in tears of joy but I did that night. I literally cannot day enough good about these guys. Just absolutely wonderful!!!
Went through the drivethru at 1:50am, yes I know its ten mins before close , but dont advertise open til 2 just to have the employees say yea we are out of everything before they even hear what you want, if you arent open til 2 mark it otherwise than what you have 🤬🤬🤬
Showed up at 12:15 a.m. and google says theyre open til 1 a.m. and they whispered over the speaker that theyre closed... then why is their sign still on... if the signs and the inside lobby lights are on they should be open... also they do not answer their phone. I would appreciate and the 20 others(at least) if they could maybe turn off the lobby lights and/or sign light.
Open the rest of your establishment like the rest of the world so there is not a 45 minute wait to order food through a drive thru. You are no longer fast food or a convenience. I have sat here and watch numberous customers drive away after sitting for 10-20+ minutes. You are losing money and patrons! Get your sh*t together! This is why we need to break away from food chains. what a joke of a way to do business. Please do better, we truly want to patron your business.
Waited in line at the drive thru for over 25 minutes. I called the restaurant and asked why it was taking so long and the manager was less than helpful and didn’t care how long the wait was for his customers, and pretty much told me not his problem that there are bigger orders ahead of me. A passenger 2 cars ahead of me walked over to Denny’s next door, got coffee and was back in the truck before they got to the window. When I got to the window I asked why they can’t tell people with huge orders to pull up while the rest of us get our little orders? I was told by a worker that Taco Bell’s policy is they can’t do that. I asked for the manager and he was too busy to talk to a customer. I live in the area and have had nothing but problems with this location. Also the second time they didn’t have quesadilla sauce. I will never frequent this establishment again. They could care less how long you wait and the manager was not a manager at all. NEVER GO TO THIS LOCATION!!!!I don’t think a single person whom had to wait over 20 minutes for there order should have had to pay.
I LOVE IT HERE, the food here is amazing. The first time I tried taco bell was when my sister brought back a party box and I instantly fell in love with it. The only this I have wrong with it is on the supreme tacos there is a lot of sour cream and sometimes the wait is pretty long, but it is worth the wait. And I also wish they put more lettus but overall DELICIOUS. I personally think this is up there as one the healthiest fast food places I have been too. If have young children or any age children then this is a good place to bring them, and say your having a party then you can buy a party pack/box. They have amazing prices here like a party box is around 20 dollars and you get 12 tacos, you can have half and half or just soft shell or just hard shell, so amazing prices for the amazing food you get. ❤🧡💛💚💙💜❤🧡💛💚💙💜❤🧡💛💚💙💜❤🧡💛💚💙💜❤🧡💛💚💙💜❤🧡💛💚💙💜❤🧡💛💚💙💜❤🧡💛💚💙💜❤🧡💛💚💙💜❤🧡💛💚💙💜❤🧡💛💚💙💜🌮🌯🌮🌯🌮🌯🥗🌮🌯🌮🌯🌮🌯🥗🌮🌯🌮🌯🌮🌯🥗🌮🌯🌮🌯🌮🌯🥗🌮🌯🌮🌯🌮🌯🥗🌮🌯🌮🌯🌮🌯🥗🌮🌯🌮🌯🌮🌯🥗🌮🌯🌮🌯🌮🌯🥗🌮🌯🌮🌯🌮🌯🥗🌮🌯🌮🌯🌮🌯🥗🌮🌯🌮🌯🌮🌯🥗🌮🌯🌮🌯🌮🌯🥗🌮🌯🌮🌯🌮🌯🥗🌮🌯🌮🌯🌮🌯🥗🌮🌯🌮🌯🌮🌯🥗🌮🌯🌮🌯🌮🌯🥗
7/27/21: Update: Did not think I had to do this as the Cortland taco bell has always be great but their service and food quality has declined. Tonight was a bit of a tipping point. Got home and the naco fries box was given to me in a bag, no sauces that I asked for at all, and the nacho fries were like a partial order. Maybe half a normal order. Cut those wages back since no one cares about the service part of food service. Minus 2 stars for sauce hoarding and for skimping on food.Great customer service, great food even when sober, and will always be willing to help customer requests. They also dont skimp on the servings, ice, or sauce packets.
I just love Taco Bell. Not my favorite location though. They seem to run out of things often, and I have gone there late at night (hours before theyre supposed to be closed) when theyre supposed to be open and they say theyre closed. Obviously if they were closed no body would be there to answer the drive through.
After I got my food there was no sauces in the bag I asked for hot sauce I never received it no napkins other than that the tacos were good I went back around the drive-thru and I said to the girl I dont have any sausage or neck and she says oh Im sorry would you like them now after I ate my food why would I want them now not happy not happy at all
So my fiancé and I went to Taco Bell in Cortland tonight and our food was very subpar! My beefy 5 layer burrito only had nacho cheese and very little beef in it, my nacho fries was not even a half container of fries and my fiancé’s Crunchwrap supreme had almost nothing inside of it as well. Also, our food wasn’t wrapped properly and just thrown in the bag. Tried to call the store and no one answered! Very unhappy with the quality of food we received tonight!!
Its a nice place to eat Mexican food if you like the Mexican cuisine. As for me it was my first time eating Mexican food, & I was expecting a more traditional very balanced salty taste, but unfortunately the cuisine didnt fall on my expectations. I ate the Spicy Potato Soft Taco which I didnt like much cause I didnt find it good at all (my opinion), but I like the Chalupa. Its all a question of preference and taste. But one thing that is worth to enlighten is: the foods there are very spicy.
The staff is always very nice here, but every single time I go to this location they forgot an item or items from our order. We have to order -to go items- inside and make sure all the items are there, which is not very convenient when your just trying to pick up a quick order for your family. At least they are open late so that helps. The food is usually consistent and inexpensive.
I go to taco bell at least 3 times a week because it is close to my work. Almost everytime i go they mess something up in my order, which by the way isnt hard. Today was the last straw because the only thing they got right was my drink. Lets hope this changes, as for the time being i will have to go somewhere else for food.
Taco bell rejected my 3 star rating. Its taco bell. The service here is fine. The food is like every other taco bell. Its a 3 star restaurant at best. I had a good experience here. I go to taco bell more than any other fast restaurant, but lets not lose sight of reality. The best service in the world doesnt change taco bell into a 4 star Mexican restaurant, sorry.
Yikes! There was the woman at the counter that yelled at a person in the drive thru. When her manager asked her about it, she plainly said I didnt tell at a customer in the dining area, I yelled at a customer in the drive thru he then said okay and walked away. My son ordered a Doritos locos tacos combo regular with no lettuce. He likes just beef and cheese. Of course, they all come out with lettuce. The manager replaced all of his tacos which was very nice. But, the bathrooms and dining area are NASTY. They may be wiped down, but the place needs an over haul. We will not eat there again. You can tell that the place isnt taken care of.
This used to be me and my husbands favorite spot, we love taco bell and even have our anniversary there as it was the location of our first date. We have been frequent customers of this location for years with great service. I dont know if they are under new management or what has happened but the past few months we have delt with repeated and consistent incorrect orders, missing items, not giving sauce packets, and have visted at least 5 seperate times in which they were out of tortillas...a pretty big issue when almost everything on the menu comes in a tortilla. We will not be visiting this location until they can get their act together.
ALWAYS CHECK YOUR BAG BEFORE YOU PULL OUT OF THE DRIVE THRU! I would say a good 60-70% of the time I either 1) do not receive all my food that has been ordered or 2) have someone elses order all together. Plan on spending a ridiculous amount of time in line as well...they certainly dont seem to have any desire to move any faster than they have too.
Stopped there after work about 1240 in the morning and they didnt answer their drive through. Theyre open until 1am during the week so I drove around and saw someone working inside so I went to go through their drive through again and still they didnt answer. Unacceptable and super frustrating.
Went here yesterday for dinner, as it is half way between Binghamton and my home town.I eat Taco Bell a lot, one of my favorite fast food places! Franchises are usually consistent and offer the same quality of food and service. I was surprised at how inconsistent this location was though, whether it was just a bad day or if this is typical, I do not know.I used the drive thru, as I was already over an hour on the road and wanted to make it home. When entering the drive thru, there were only two vehicles ahead of me. At the speaker, I was told to please hold on a moment, the gentleman was polite and within a minute, was back to take my order. This is unfortunately where the prompt service ended.... After ordering a simple combo, I waited for quite a while. I did not realize just how long I had been waiting until I finally approached the window. There is a screen showing each car, their wait time and I assume the cars that were red in color showed that the wait time was too long. At the time I got to the window, my wait time was 8 minutes already. The fact that they track wait times leads me to believe the management strives for prompt service, which is the only star I am awarding this establishment. The fault I believe was with the young man working the window, he seemed very overwhelmed, confused and incompetent and was asking other employees for help. Mind you, this was after 6:30PM and by no means a dinner rush or anything. By the time I was cashed out (took two employees to do this), my wait time exceeded 12 minutes, which is quite long when you are 3rd in line. I ordered a cheesy gordita crunch meal with a Gatorade, my favorite item from Taco Bell! When I left and started to eat my meal, I immediately noticed the food had been sitting for a period of time. The hard taco shell part was turning soft, the soft taco shell part was turning hard. The meat was cold, the cheese wasnt even warm and the wrapper was stuck to the soft taco shell, pulling some of it off with it.It was edible, had it not have been trust I would have taken it back, despite the rush I was in. Edible is not the word that should be used to explain a meal though, as other Taco Bell locations can be explained as delicious and alike. Between the slow service and the at best, mediocre food I received afterwards, I cannot give this Taco Bell 5 or even 4 stars. Would like to try it again someday, could have been just a new employee or something and I do not like giving negative reviews.
Its taco bell. Used to be a favorite of mine, but now that Im keto its terrible. The chicken and the beef power bowls both have strange tasting meat, the beef is particularly gross. But it is still a kid favorite...and I have lots of kids! This taco bell impressed me by getting my 15 item order ready quickly and correctly; that never happens! And the staff were friendly, competent, fast, and responsive to me. Also a rarity among this chain.Great job!
Ok, heres the thing. My wife and I were traveling home from Pennsylvania to New York and we were hungry, neither one of us were too familiar with Taco Bell, but we decided to stop. First impression was horrible, bathroom was disgusting. Then things improved greatly, ordered chicken burritos, didnt know they had ranch on them, so they gave us two new ones at no charge and gave us cinnamon crunchy things at no charge too. We are now officially Taco Bell customers. Just clean up the bathrooms.
Went for breakfast. Was decent. Crunch wrap seemed smaller then the lunch or dinner. The potato breakfast burrito was excellent with fresh salsa. The sausage and egg or egg and bacon burrito has a cheese sauce that is very slimy when mixed with scrambled eggs. all-in-all not that bad since most items are $1 the crunch wraps are $3 to $4 depending on what you get. They were out of all coffee said their machine was down. Service was okay but they left out my breakfast bowl and instead gave me a bacon and egg without informing me.
Ordered 3-bean burritos no cheese w/lettuce/tomato/onion. Received 3-cheesy bean burritos no cheese w/ lettuce/tomato/onion. Difference is they gave me rice and swapped the red sauce I wanted for a mayo based chipotle like one. I cant digest eggs, had to pull over to projectile vomit on the side of the road on my drive home. Not sure if the girl misheard what I said or what happened. Wouldve went back but I dont live near the location and I had already waited like 20 minutes in the drive thru line.
The food was typical Taco Bell. The restaurant itself, was disgusting! I waited to use the restroom here, rather than the gas station. I would’ve been better off at the gas station. Bathroom was stocked, but filthy. There was garbage all over the dining room floor. Under the sauce & napkin station even more trash, tables were grimy & seats were dirty.
The food is what you would expect from any Taco Bell. The real issue I have with this branch in particular is the drive thru service, IT SUCKS, to put it bluntly. Lunch time rush? 15 min wait in the drive thru. My worst experience to date was at about 9:30 pm and my pregnant wife wanted tacos. 30 MINUTES WAITING (no joke). There was several people that drove off because Im sure they were sick of waiting, and the only reason I was there was to be a good husband to my pregnant wife. Why not walk inside you ask? Cant, doors are locked though the sticker says the lobby house are from 7am-11pm. You would think people driving off and no one in the lobby to serve I would get my order a little faster..... ha ha ha
Taco Bell is awesome! What do you really need me to say? They have tacos, there is no bell though, you may be disappointed if you were going there to ring the bell. But they do have tacos. They dont have Dr. Pepper though, just a fair warning. I know, I know. I complain every time, you would think they would get some Dr Peezy. -1 star for no DP
As good as the nacho fries are... I didnt realize were out of the 10 tortilla do you want a crunchy or hard taco ment I wasnt getting the beefy 5 layer burrito. What a disappoinment when I opened the box...would have ordered something else if I knew that was the case.
Not sure what happened since I was last here, but speed of service was much worse than usual, absolutely nothing was stocked (zero napkins, sauces, sporks, etc) and to top it off the sink in the mens room is broken. How is the staff washing their hands after using the facilities?
I love it because the people there are nice and they have great food like I ordered the cheese roll up and that was amazing cuz it has a even amount of cheese with the taco thingy what are you called that thing thats wrapped up with their tacos the rap the atmosphere was warm a go there like on cold days or it go there on Summers during the Summers its like cold in the building so name change it depending on the water the service was nice Pete the people there are very kind if they mess up your order they will remake your whole thing
Food was delightful. I ate a shredded chicken queseritto which tasted like none other. Couple that with tasty hot sauce packets and it is to die for. Drive thru service was impeccable, staff was friendly and eager to serve us. Also ordered a cheesy bean and rice burrito without beans...odd I know but they got the order right, imagine that!! I strongly recommend this Taco Bell as their service is top notch. Check it out for yourself, you wont be let down?😣
Bathroom wasnt stocked with tp, had to inform the cashier when I went to order my food. She was timely but thinking theyre along the main freeway from Binghamton to the Canadian border you would think they would be a well oiled machine to have a smooth flow from the time orders were received to the time they were given to the paying customers. The Ithaca branch is faster than this one.
This taco bell needs an update on been going to this taco bell for years and it has always looked the same its 2018 make the restaurant look like it and with the recent rumors Im sure business will be shot down further ...i love taco bell but Ill travel elsewhere to eat at a more up to date and cleaner restaurant ...
Steak nacho box extremely salty. Doughnut holes stale, came in cup, beefy mini quesedilla didnt have enough sauce or cheese, Been burrito was good but u cant really screw that up. The watermelon slushy didnt have enough candy seeds. Only a couple and not a lot of flavor like usual.

2021-08-21We ordered 12 taco deal with soft and hard tacos. They were just thrown in the bag and broken in pieces. Never going back there...this is not the first problem we have had with them.

2022-07-04So when we went there they said that walk in was closed because the register. So then we asked the cashier if we could use the screens and he said it was fine. But then the manager (or I think he was) yelled at him saying that you cant do that (and some other inappropriate things)and was like I hope you heard that too I feel very bad for him and if you ever do go there, know that they have no customer service.

2022-05-02I went over an hour before close and sat at the drive through for about 5 minutes and not a single person took my order. Drive past to leave and saw through the window they were too focused on closing. I understand it’s slow however someone should’ve payed at least a little attention to possible customers.

2022-07-15Restaurant tables seriously needed wiping off. Food took awhile to get and there wasnt a big crowd there ordering eitherUPDATED 2-26-2022Dining room now open, no longer closed for Covid restrictions. Still pretty messy but probably now due to staff shortage. Kiosk makes ordering a little quicker

2022-03-07We were there Sunday 2/5 for dine in. I spent over $75 and half my order was messed up. And my tacos had hair in them. The manager was screaming while redoing our order. If we had another taco bell in Cortland I would go there. Very poor service. And we love Taco Bell but not this one. This is not the first time we have had mistakes with our order.

2019-04-15Paid for cinnamon sticks that I didnt get. Party pack of tacos were ordered with no lettuce and thats all that was in the taco. There wasnt even cheese in some of them. This is the first time this has happened. Usually we have no problem with the order.

2020-06-26We went around 1:45 waited in line at the drive thru for a total of 20 minutes. We ordered a chulupa box and a crunch wrap meal and 2 extra drinks. The person in the drive thru didnt seem to have a care in the world about anything. Shortly after we ate 2 of the 4 had to rush to the bathroom. Not pleased!Tried this place again was worse than the last time! Manger refused to give her name! Seemed not remorseful one bit! Ridiculous! Cant employ decent people at all!!

2022-06-01Solid TBell experience; relatively cheap, devoid of nutrients, absolutely delicious. Polished off with a Baja Blast. So glad the dining room is back open.

2022-05-11Poor quality food.every single time I go there they just thow the food in the bag and never get it all right or I End up missing food they never put in the bag. Would not recommend
