DONT NOT EAT HERE! Worst empanadas ever! Just terrible. Nothing is even close to “perfect” about it. Poor service, high price, low quality food. Manager rushed me and my friend out, wayyy before closing! Save yourself the time, money and poor experience. Not one out of the 8 empanadas we ordered were good.

Food was decent. Prices are higher then in the menu. He said he raised his prices but did not correct the menu or did not tell me when I ordered. Chipotle is across the street. I will be going there next time.
Great food and service, manager is very nice and gives great suggestions. Also took pictures of us with sombreros after the minions movie. Highly recommend!

You need to try this place out. I work in the area and work overtime sometimes so its usually hard to find good food everywhere. Tacos Perfectos really resembles the name. Their Burrito California is amazing! Its a must try for sure.I took my fiancé here for valentines day and they had this come to our table!! What a surprise 😅👍🏼
Loved their tacos. Very tasty and really good amount of filling. The bbq tacos and taco perfectos were great. Their chips and salsa were really good too! We went for a very late lunch, so there were not many people. Did not take us too long to get our orders as well. Will definitely go back when in that area again. Or will be a very frequent customer if they come close to GW bridge!

A secret gem with teriffic atmosphere, friendly staff, bangin salsa and perfect tacos. Order the namesake tacos perfectos, they are easily the best tacos Ive ever had.

Probably the worse Mexican food I ever had. I actually threw it up it was so terrible. I ordered a beef burrito and chips and salsa. The burrito meat tasted very old or possibly bad. The chips were stale and cold. I will never go back to this place and will tell everyone I know how awful this place is. I had stomach issues for 2 days after going there. 🤢🤮
The food isn’t overpriced, which is great! Burrito was alright, some ingredients and the meat tasted not fresh but not old either. There was no aroma. Tortilla chips were cold and didn’t have much taste, the salsa was great, but it was free chips so I didn’t expect and wasn’t given high quality. I would hit a different Mexican joint for my next craving, I’d only return if it was a last-resort option. Basically, it’s pretty average Mexican food. The owner (I presume) was a really kind man, his waiter was good too.
Decent burrito that I had but I witnessed the owner making my burrito with his bare hands. Grabbed a handful of rice with his bare hand and put it in my burrito then wrapped the burrito again with his bare hand. Anyone working with food should be always wearing gloves while touching someone else’s food. That’s gross. Other than that. The burrito I had was good.

This place is absolutely amazing! I’ve been living in the area for over 15 years and just recently discovered this hidden gem! On top of the food being great it is HALAL!!! If anyone has tried other halal Mexican places in the area, this place cannot be compared. On top of the food the service is impeccable! The nachos with ground beef and the chicken Cozumel burrito have become my favorites! I have become a customer for life!!
The food was very delicious and the service was great! We ordered Burritos California, Quesadilla, Tacos Classico and Taco Perfectos. All of them were very delicious especially Chicken Quesadilla. Strongly suggest this place!!
Awesome food and amazing service. Everything tasted amazing and the staff is super friendly and really make you feel welcome. One thing on our take out order was actually wrong and the gentleman behind the counter actually drove the new item out to us. We had a great experience and will definitely be going back.
If I could give zero star rating i would the food was nasty and tasted old.When the guy was serving the chips he sneezed in his hands and grabbed the chips with his barehand and used no gloves at all to prepare the food i will never come back to this place again dont waste your time and money here
Portions arent as big as chipotle, they still give you a good amount. But the taste and quality ingredients are extremely good I got the rice bowl with chicken. Would go here again
This is truly a hidden gem. I ordered the chimichangas, the empanadas and some tacos. they were so tasty and delicious. Now whenever i have a mexican craving, i will surely venture out to Taco Perfectos to get my fix.The owner was also so friendly and cheerful. Went well with the vibe we were in.
We ordered tonight- super fast delivery. Food was not only hot but AMAZING! Everything we tried ( and we ordered a lot to sample)- Empandas amazing ! Quesadilla - Fantastic! My husbands burrito was huge and he loved it! Their orange rice is delicious too. I actually called the restaurant as we were eating to tell them how amazing it was. They definitely have a returning family !
This was my first time trying this food. This was not authentic Mexican food it tasted like Indian food, the spices they used tasted like turmeric. The place was deserted and empty do not eat from here. I felt sick after eating one bite of it. I highly recommend NOT eating from here. Plus they forgot one order we asked for they did refund me but not the whole order when I complained it was not good at all. They could have offered to make me or send me something else but they didnt. Not a huge fan of this place.

Ive had burritos, quesadillas, salads, and various tacos from here but my all time favorite is the chimichangas. The meat is seasoned well and the rice, beans, and guac are delicious. You always get nachos with every order. Totally addicted to this place I absolutely love it

I decided to come here based on the good reviews online but was disappointed with the food & employee working there. I ordered the taco perfecto (2) & a burrito Classico. The flavor of the food itself was bland, lacked flavor & was a little on the costly side. I tried going there with an open mind but wasn’t satisfied. The food in my opinion was ok. I also told the employee working there that I wanted jalapeños added to my burrito & they never added the jalapeños. We were given chips and salsa but the salsa look like it had a lot of sazón Goya power added to give it this vibrant orange color and it didn’t really even taste like much. One last thing that REALLY disappointed me was that I placed this order during the time of the covid-19 pandemic & by orders of the NYS governor EVERYONE is required to wear masks (for obvious reasons) but the employee who attended me FAILED to wear a mask or even gloves.... not good.
Probably the most flavorful burrito i ever had in my life. good size for the price. guac is just like how my mom makes it, very delicious. chips were fresh and salsa was on point. don’t waste your time going to chipotle this place is way better. will be coming back for sure.
Food taste like turmeric soooooo not Mexican food and Im of mexican decent its more like Indian food. Do not recommend this at all. Over priced for turmeric taking food everything tasted the same . Save your money. Would never go back there. Definitely new owners there not even Spanish or Hispanic people in there making food. If you want authentic Mexican food GO ELSEWHERE. Will be disappointed guaranteed.
Just went there for the first time today -- I couldnt have asked for a better experience. The owners were very nice and helped us decide on what to order by outlining each item on the menu. They also provided answers to all questions we asked. The Burrito California is delicious and its definitely something everyone has to try for themselves! Definitely eating here again!
With how small the place is, it’s even greater how awesome the food was. The burrito and tacos were excellent, and we were supplied with non stop chips. The owner came and spoke with us, very funny down to earth guy. They definitely earned several new customers after today!
Dont pass this place by!Its a small little hole in the wall thats easily missed and passed up. Everything here is absolutely delicious though. This a VERY good Mexican food place that looks small and thrown together, but the food is outstanding.The burritos were full, tacos were expertly crafted with good variations, and they actually give you guacamole with most items without paying extra. They also have a self-serve salsa station like Moes.
Taco Perfectos is a great spot for authentic Mexican! Stay or go, the foods is delicious and freshly made. Looking forward to trying more of their extensive menu. And the home made salsas, yum! Very casual and welcoming. Tucked out of the way, a hidden gem.
I have ate here twice in the past week.Once for delivery and then went in on Saturday for dinner. I love mexican food and I am always craving it. Usually I go to Moes or Chipotle (when I want something fast) but I decided I wanted to try this place. Im so glad I did. The owner was so nice as well as the staff and the food was so delicious and very fresh. My boyfriend and I loved it. Definitely will be a new spot of ours from now on.
Ive been there with my son a few times and we absolutely loved it. He loves the tacos and i personally love the empanadas! I dont know why some people have left sub par reviews of them. They are fresh, tasty, and filled with a decent portion of fillings! Tonight i was eager to try a brand new Island Empanada that opened nearby but was a little disappointedd with the size of their empanadas. Not the same as yours. Plus yours dont sit in a case as they are always made fresh. Ill definitely be back to see you guys soon
We came in really late and they were very polite and willing to take my order. My husband ordered California Burrito for the first time and it was fresh and tasty. My brother ordered the chicken quesadilla. Overall quesadilla was very big and stuffed with so much chicken! Guacamole and sour cream was very fresh! I got plantains and nachos- plantains were freshly cut and fried. Very soft and just crunchy enough. I didnt get to see the restrooms but the place look clean and neat. They have a small sauce bar, cool decoration. Great for family and friends
Was here once before about a year ago, and quite honestly it was better then. My mother in law and I went together recently, and ordered steak tacos, a crunchy taco, and empanada. The empanada had no flavor, granted the exterior and interior were perfect, but it was quite bland. The steak in my tacos was poor quality and all fat. Good salsa but had nothing out in the mexican salsa bar. They had cute cactus lighting, that was quite adorable at each table, but they were visibly dirty, and had missing pieces and dead flies in them. Kind of a turn off. Theyve been there for a while, but it was extremely dead when I went in. I think ill continue giving my business to El Paso in Farmingdale, regardless of the distacnce, I always leave satisfied.

The enchiladas were dry and the beef hard taco had meat that was not cooked well. As a Mexican I can say that there was nothing authentic about this restaurant. The only thing good was the soft tacos! I don’t recommend this place!!
Honestly wasn’t expecting this place to be as good as it was, I got 2 empanadas (chicken) and a beef taco (the 8.99 special) and oh my gosh, it was excellent! they’re super nice and the food is super good, definitely great local tacos and empanadas, everything from the food to sauce to service was great!! Love this place, definitely my new go to taco spot! :)

I finally found my Mexican restaurant in Long Island and it’s in my town! My wife has been telling me for three years how good this place is. The place is amazing and the guy who makes the food is the best. The food is so fresh and high quality.
Great quality food and service. Some of the negative reviews make zero sense. The food-price ratio is good considering the amazing quality of food. Not to call any conceited, or unhealthy undereducated individuals out, but maybe since you go to mcdonalds too much and expect low costs food in high fat quanities, your confused when you see healthy, quality food. Not saying this is the reason why you look so fat in your negative reviews, just saying GOOD QUALITY food takes TIME and MONEY. Definitely worth the trip for lunch!
Got the 2 empanadas and 1 taco lunch special.Pros: food was clearly fresh made. Empanadas were large and hot. Same with taco. Soda was ice cold.Location is clean though clearly not very popular. It was empty at lunch. The salsa station was empty.Cons: Empanadas were not very filled. Disappointing for the size. The chicken one was dry and could have Been very tasty if itd had cheese or another substance.The other empanada was not beef. It was some combo of beans, rice and sauce. It was not very good.
I tried their empanadas, the chicken was good but the chorizo was like I was eating raw jalapeno peppers. I will not go back. It got 3 stars because the guy (looks like the owner) was very pleasant.
I ordered the chicken tacos and the restaurant was empty except for one guy who was holding his stomach running to the bathroom who I should of took as a warning. They took their time making the tacos and yet the chicken was cold and flavorless. Later that night I woke up to the worst stomach pain ever. I don’t get sick from food easily so this is disturbing.
NO STARS!!!! Ordered melted cheese appetizer, 2 tacos, 1 softie, and a quesadilla. Me and my mother who ate the food with me and we both woke up (at different times) running to the bathroom with cramps and having diarrhea all day. Sorry for that level of detail, but it is what it is.As for the dining experience, all the food came out at the same time, except the appetizer. The appetizer came our 10 minutes after the meal.Oh, and the lovely part is that order with an iced tea and fanta came out to $40.I would recommend this place only to my enemies.
Allow me to start off saying tis place has some of the most abysmal service I have ever seen in my entire life. My girlfriend and I wanted to catch a movie and neither of us had lunch. So, we decided to get a bite to eat. I am currently a student at Hunter Business School across the parking lot so Ive always seen this place but had never actually tried it, and boy am I sorry I did! One of our friends was with us so as a group we ordered 2 loco burritos which came out fine and we ordered a fajita salad with no guacamole and no onions nd those 3 things came out to a total of $50! Which is obsurd. They completely messed up the salad and a then proceeded to argue with us saying we never said no guacamole and stormed to the back and seemed like they scooped off the guacamole and sprinkled some cheese on top. Then a different person gave it to us and it was loaded with onion so I complained and he rolled his eyes and yet again stormed to the back and by the time they finally got it right a different person gave it to us and it was cold and inedible and then my girlfriend asked for a side of sour cream and they had the audacity to say that will be $1. You are better off starving to death than eating at this dump.
Food was bland. Guy behind the counter was an idiot. I understand that some items that come with two are charged half priced as individual items so the total is the same. Except I specifically ordered those items as they were, then asked for two orders of Taco Classico, which would be 4 tacos. I only received two tacos. Would have been understandable if it was busy. I was the only one there, save for the family of four that already were eating at a table. And he sure took his time taking my very simple order too.
It was a cold day and when I saw chili on the menu I couldnt resist.It tasted like a can of sloppy joe, and thats not a good thing because a can of sloppy joe gets mixed with beef and its served on bread, this tastes like its just poured out of a can and nothing else was done to it. It was way too sharp and tangy, and thats because sloppy joe is not supposed to be eaten directly from a can.On top of that it says topped with cheese which it wasnt. What I dont understand is how they have all the ingredients to make a better chili and simply dont. There are no beans, or vegetables, it was just pure sloppy joe mix.After 4 spoonfuls I gave up. I added rice to try and thin out the sharpness but the sauce is too tangy. This is not chili at all. At best its some type of sauce on the side, but definitely not chili, and not a meal. For $5+$2 for a coke I felt ripped off.If anyone is up for the challenge Ill give you $100 to make a video eating it spoon by spoon. I dont believe its possible, and I know its not healthy.

First clue, lunch time @ around 12:30......EMPTY. But gave it a try anyway. Would love to go somewhere to eat that is NOT a chain restaurant. Nothing perfecto with the tacos. Tacos kind of had some sort of an attempt in delivering flavor but, fell short. Portions were even further away from perfecto given the price they charge. At best tacos were a cute snack. Not in any hurry to return.

WILL NOT LET ME PUT NO STARS. Will never go here again! I am very ill and after treatment I finally got an appetite. I ordered for pick up and my husband was good enough to go pick it up. As soon as he gets home my phone rings and I am told my husband took the wrong order home ( he paid for it too). I was told they repeated the order to him and he said yes that is mine. However, my husband said he heard the kid say part of our order and said yes that is mine. He was apparently given the wrong bag and paid for the bag he was given. (They made it sound like our fault not that they didnt hand off the wrong bag). They want him to bring it back as the customer who ordered it was at the store waiting for his order ( the one given to us) They were going to have us bring the food back and just hand it to the other customer. It is my understanding that that is against the Board of Healths policies. You must discard food given in error and not just Gove to to someone else. I wanted them to come pick it up and was told no to bring it back. I am livid at the way the boy treated us as if we were some thieves sho stole the food that was paid for. Admittedly, I became upset and was stressed. My husband left to return the food and I get another call about it more disrespectful than the first ( the way I felt) I told the guy to relax that actually since we paid for it it was our to with what we please eat it or throw it out or return it as we paid for it and that they should have picked it up and exchanged it and if they wouldnt to just relax as my husband was on his way. After a few minutes I became more upset and called to speak wit the owner. I have been there many times without a problem I explained. I told him I got there because the food is good and he and the young girl who works there ( with the accent) are always nice and I have never had a problem. As I explain the issue and how I felt disrespected ( I dont care that they dont think they were disrespectful, they cannot invalidate how I was made to feel) he said what can I do to fix it. I said nothing, the food is on its way back and I want a refund and to cancel my order. Then a young girl gets not the phone (his daughter) and again begins to get loud and rude. I told her I was speaking to her father just fine without an issue and I had felt disrespected by the guy that called ( her brother she said). She denied it and said all 3 listened to the call. I explained I dont care if you think it wasnt rude or improper that is how I felt, like I was a thief. She said she doesnt want a fight or problem but kept raising her tone and talking over me then hung up on me. Then when my husband brings back the food they try and only refund us for our original order that we didnt get instead of the proper amount paid. He had to have the boy come up front and tell the father in fact he paid more than was trying to be reimbursed. I have never had such a disgusting experience with a restaurant. The attitudes and lack of respect are disgusting but nothing compared to adding insult to injury and trying to cheat us out of our money. I will never go there again and I will make sure all my friends, family and co-workers who live in the are (or not) know what happened so they can avoid this place.
If you like COLD food delivered 3 hours late this is the place! And total lack of apologies, caring or customer service is free! We ordered at 7:30 - part of our order got here at 8:15. It was cold. Like just out of the fridge cold. The rest of our order came at 10:25 after 4 phone calls, no sorry at all and guess what? Its definitly the food that was ready at 7:30, wasnt delivered and has been sitting for 3 hours. Practically frozen. This place should be shut down. Im throwing this garbage away and hoping this review sways you away from ever ordering from this dumpster fire of a resturant.
I ordered the chicken enchiladas via grub hub. The delivery was very fast and food was warm so no complaints there. But boy oh boy were those enchiladas subpar. It was as if a drunken frat boy created them. They were essentially heated up chicken wrapped in a tortilla smothered with canned movietheater-esque nacho cheese. It came with yellow rice and black beans which werent bad hence the three stars. I cant say I definitely wont order from them again but Im certain I wont be getting the enchiladas.
Ordered two shrimp burritos. They must have heard two-shrimp as in only two shrimp in each burrito. Imagine bland yellow rice, super oily, not-even-sauteed long enough but soaked in grease large chunks of white onion, and then two tiny shrimp the size of a quarter. Then the guacamole (if you could even call it that disgusting) was soupy? The nachos they gave me were stale and awful as well. Ill never give this place my business again and I strongly urge you not to. Regards
The tacos and burritos are nothing special. The front guy and cook forgot my order of beef burrito. He told the cook, who does not speak english to make it. But instead of beef they made it chicken and he said, oh sorry. No personality, no customer service. If you want great Mexican food, go to Escorza.
The empanadas at Taco Perfectos are hand made to perfection. I recently discovered they have nine different kinds. I came for the tacos but after trying a cheesy chicken empanada, I will be coming back for more
Empanadas were good. My wife had beef burrito and I had beef tacos and BBQ chicken taco.the beef in both burrito and tacos tasted old. Such a shame because the menu looked good. However the beef just turned me off.

Wow, this Mexican food is completely insane, cooked by Arabians. Never tasted anything like this before. The owners son is insane, seen him at a local gym bench pressing over 220 pounds, his gains are INSANE. If you want these gains eat their burritos. This place has successfully assembled the dumbest staff on the planet.I placed an order with them through GrubHub. It didnt show up after 1.5 hours.Called the dump, and some dumb girl lies to me and says the guy is down the block.He never shows up.Call again, and she lies again and says hes stuck in traffic. I guess she didnt realize that I could hear her with the driver on the other line when he was telling her that he got lost and was delivering all the other stops ahead of me. I guess these people like to lie to their customers.She didnt even know what GrubHub was....just kept calling it online.I finally told her to cancel the order and refund me, and she goes Oh, you do that online. Great customer service.

Raw Chicken Finger Kids Meal..My Daughters Meal was a kids Chicken and fries, the big peice of chicken must have been thrown into the fryer for about 20secs it was absolutely raw just the breading was done.... They couldbe really made her amd us sick luckly we noticed it before she ate it ill add the pic although its hard to see!
I’ve had this place twice now and to be honest yes I see it empty but I love there food I highly recommend coming to this place great people really nice great prices gave me what I wanted cooked great and got what I needed right away thank you so much 😊👍

Definitely 5 star, food and service. Seen some of the customers who gave low star reviews, and they sound just as arrogant and clueless as they claim the staff. Definitely worth the trip if your hungry for lunch or dinner!

Order took 1 1/2 hours to get here. All the food was cold when it arrived. the hard shell tacos were so greasy the bottoms disintegrated, and only half the tacos were actually filled with anything.This place has gone down hill, and it sucks.

I WOULDNT CALL THIS MEXICAN FOOD AT ALL. THE STEAK TACO THAT I ORDERED WAS COLD AND SOGGY FROM THE BLACK BEAN JUICE. THE CHEESE FRIES TASTED FROZEN AND OLD.I CALLED THE PLACE BACK AND ASKED THE GIRL TO PLEASE HAVE SOMEONE COME TO PICK UP THE FOOD AND GIVE ME MY MONEY BACK FOR THE TACOS. WHEN THE GUY COMES TO MY OFFICE HE HANDS ME A NEW PLATE OF THE TACOS. I TOLD HIM THAT I WASNT INTERESTED IN MORE FOOD I WANTED MY MONEY BACK. HE GOT VERY NASTY AND SAID TO ME NOW I HAVE TO COME BACK BACK AGAIN?EVEN AFTER SPEAKING TO THE MANAGER HER ONLY RESPONSE WAS , I WILL SPEAK WITH HIM.BE VERY CAUTIOUS ABOUT WHO YOU ORDER FROM. I ordered a burrito california. Nowhere on the menu does it say it comes with onions. Got my burrito, brought it home and surely there were onions. Burrito ruined.

The food was very fresh audit was not that expensive,unlike chipotle where you barely have any options on what kind of burrito you want and it is 2x more expensive then the food at Taco Perfectos.

2022-07-09Really wonderful experience. The fish tacos truly were perfecto, the balance of sauce and toppings to fish was just right. The owner is super nice, and my fiancé enjoyed her rice bowl, too, and we shared some great chicken nachos. Didn’t get pictures of the red snapper tacos because I ate them before thinking about it - they were so tasty!

2022-05-20The food has always been amazing. but today the experience was awful. they forgot an item in our order and after a few minutes of explaining he finally understood so we went back and got it. then a few minutes later as my boyfriend is eating his burrito that we ordered as chicken, he realized it was steak. so we call back and tell the man. he proceeded to keep saying oh my god and have an issue when he was the one that messed up our order! then he proceeded to tell me that there shouldnt be a problem bc he gave an higher valued item when we dont care, we ordered chicken we expect chicken. then he had a whole bunch of issues with my boyfriend. my boyfriend went back inside and once again, he was putting up more of a fight. my boyfriend said all of this is not customer service and the man said HE DOES NOT CARE! good food but not worth the disgusting customer service. we will be finding other places to go to.

2022-06-01Im confused how this place has good reviews. Their food is weird, stale and they give you the wrong food (and I know its not a fluke because I see the same complaints in other reviews). I shop in the area all the time and I see it so I thought Id go in. It was really quiet, the salsa bar was empty, and I almost thought they were closed. The menu says you get two tacos with an order, so I got a chicken salad and BBQ chicken tacos. The chips were stale and cold. When I opened the tacos, there was only one taco (I got charged for two, according to the menu). It was full of celery, and spicy. I couldnt figure out why, then I realized it wasnt BBQ chicken, it was buffalo chicken. My salad was HOT, with the cheese melted on top, so I guess it had been put into the oven. The tomatoes and lettuce were hot and wilted. Who bakes a salad???? The sauces on everything tasted off and I felt sick the rest of the day. I couldnt eat until the next day. There was an obvious language barrier with the man taking the orders so I didnt bother going back to argue about the wrong and bad food. But from reading the other reviews and the nasty responses from the owner, Im glad I didnt. $20 out the window.

2022-02-20Just ate here with my family, not from the area. But definitely will be back. The rice bowls and tacos were outstanding. But not only the food it’s good, the service it’s exceptional! The owner it’s such a warm person. Try it! You won’t be disappointed.

A more cold taco because of all the salad vegetables.Had a wonderful conversation with the owner, Sharif. Very warm, welcoming, and gracious. Although a little stressed because of rude customers.If you are picky about food, ask him for recommendations. he’ll guide you based on your preferences.

2022-06-10I’m not one to leave a bad review but this place and this food was horrible. It was way overpriced for terrible food. The manager proceeded to ask us if the food was good or not and after we said it wasn’t he rushed us out of his restaurant at 9:06 PM although the restaurant closes at 10 PM. My friend and I weren’t even done eating our food! We ended up throwing our food out and leaving and walked to Five guys instead and received wonderful service unlike this place. Would never waste my money here again!!!. On top of that the bathroom was dirty and the tables were also dirty.
