HUGE portions, worth the price, and still a great deal considering how much food you get. If You order a hero, you can divide the cold cuts/fillings into 2 separate sandwiches and still have hearty subs for the price of one. Their shrimp salad has a lot of extra mayo.... but I always get a pound of it because youll be hard pressed to get a salad with such huge shrimp in it elsewhere. . Their breakfast sandwiches are also a great hit! Highly recommend!
When you ask them to cut the meat the way you like it you have to say to do an excellent job, And if you didnt like the way they cut the meat the 1st time youll tell them and Ill redo it for you. And its one hell of an excellent place to get sandwiches and hot food at
Since moving to Atlanta I havent been here in over 10 years. Im here visiting and today I bought a chicken and swiss cheese hero with lettuces and tomatos. The sandwich was really good. Years may have passed the quality of the food is still the same. Thank you Tamburinos I will be back soon.

The legend continues. This deli has been on numerous lists for Best Heros on Long Island and in no way do they disappoint. We order the Tamby Special all the time and it is AMAZING! Weve ordered party heros too and they were excellent. I cant recommend this place enough. We go all the time!

An Italian deli that is definitely worth the trip. Make sure youre hungry because their sandwiches can feed more than one. I have gone every once in a while for the past 25 years and the quality hasnt changed and neither has the portions. Give it a try because you wont be disappointed!!
This is one of the best deli on long island. All their dishes are authentic and delicious. Their subs are stuffed with fresh ingredients. I usually purchase one sub and have it cut into 3 or pieces to share. Tamburinos is the best. Go and try them yourself! You will not be disappointed.

By far the greatest Family owned Deli in Long Island .The food is always delicious , fresh and so much variety.I love the Staff, Danielle makes you feel right at home and joe completes the experience with his warm sense of humor.I have used them for my corporate parties as well as grabbing healthy dinners on the go for my family.I highly recommend this great place.And When you are on the go and are heading to the beach, this is the place to go.All my Best,Howie
Cmon its tamburinos!! Whats there to complain about?? The food is awesome and the amount of meat and cheese on their heros is absolutely Fabulous!! And their counter folks couldnt be any nicer and helpful!! This place is a fat girls dream and I wish I could give them 10 stars!!! Parking is always available and they have delivery! OMG A PIECE OF ITALY IN THE MIDDLE LF 5 TOWNS. The store is small but beautiful. The staff is quick,friendly,helpful and, knowledgeable. Large portions of delicious food freshly prepared. THEY MAKE THERE OWN FRESH MOZZARELLA.JUST GO AND ENJOY EAT PURE HAPPINESS
If you order a hero...you will need two hands to lift it.It will hold close to a pound of freshly sliced deli meats.It will fill your belly...with bliss.It will be a sandwich you will be proud to eat.It will make you happy.Very happy.Yummy yummy!
Brat hero had great flavor but extremely messy sandwich. Heros are huge however I waited for over 20 minutes. Order before you get there. My sandwich was laying there getting cold while they were serving other guests. Their system needs major overhaul.

Went there and ordered a small grilled chicken salad. Food came fast. Asked the older man there with grey hair for extra shredded cheese on the side. The man stated it’s already on there, I said I would just like extra on the side. Soon as he got it he threw it across the counter at me. I spend my money every morning in that place to be treated like that? Was DISGUSTING!!. That is no way to treat a loyal customer!!!
Love Tamburinos, but I do have an issue with their pricing. I ordered a grilled cheese sandwich with white toast and was charged $5.49! A bacon, egg and cheese sandwich is the same price. They really need to look over the pricing menu. 2 slices of white bread with a slice of american cheese should not cost $5.49.
Theyre probably one of the best delis on the East Coast . Their sandwiches are tremendous there hot hero are incredible and the hot plates are to die for try them youll never go back to any other place again but Tamburinos

Had the Supreme. It was unbelievable. To quote Mitch Hedberg, it was like a cow with a cracker on either side. Great big sandwich, excellent meat, excellent toppings.
Hugeee sandwhiches. I need to eat them in two different sittings or i will need a nap. Real quality food. Pricey due to the size but there are always weekly specials. Pastrami egg and cheese is awesome
I went here on Saturday, to pick up lunch. I ordered a small salad and an egg, ham, and cheese sandwich. I asked the woman if they had a balsamic vinaigrette. The counter woman gave me vinegar. I asked if she had a vinaigrette. She says it is 25 cents more. Mind you I had already put the change in my pocketbook, and we are talking about 2 tablespoons of vinaigrette. She give me, some kind of disgusting emulsion, which is definitely not vinaigrette. The person who is going to eat, is diabetic and cannot have any kind of pre-mixed dressing, which may contain sugar. When I told that is NOT what I asked for; the woman starts telling everyone in the deli: everyone wants something for nothing. Is she kidding me? First, that is NOT very professional to belittle customers. Second, I did not know I had to give her an entire medical history of the people I am buying the food for. The owner was standing right behind her, answering the phone. He said nothing, nor did he stop his employee from discussing other customers. Bad customer service. I will NEVER go back there. But I guess, he has enough customers, because he acts as though he does NOT need my business. Plus the prices are super expensive. I spent over $13. I never received the free juice, which the woman said came with the egg sandwich..

Sandwiches are always over stuffed, which is the way I like it. Always loved going there. Service was perfect order was ready when i arrived.
The prices may look high but you get your moneys worth. Huge and filled to the max, you probably need a knife and fork to eat the sandwiches from here. Highly recommended.

God mother all day every day with some chips and 2 Arizonas = hungry mans cure! Wooooooo!!!!!!!! Melted mozzarella, with hot gravy goodness. (Thats half a sandwich by the way.) Had to use a fork lol

2022-05-22I visited on Friday, May 20, 2022 and this was my first visit to this deli. I was hungry and decided to try this business out. I ordered the Supremo hero. Wait time was good and service was wonderful. I ate my food when I came food. I was enjoying the sandwich until I bit into the core of lettuce. I removed it and finished my sandwich. Although, this was my first visit, it will not be a deal breaker for future visits. However, I will mention it to the owner when I come back.

2022-02-28Very disappointed with their philly cheese steak sandwich. Seems like they used thick cuts of unseasoned roast beef instead of thin cuts sirloin steak. Extremely large like all of their sandwiches but definitely would highly recommend the grilled chicken cutlet with roasted red peppers, mozzarella and mayo.

2022-04-19Ive been coming here since I was a little girl with my father. Years later I still go to Tambys to get sandwiches and other food items. The owner Joe is a sweet and friendly guy. They always load up their sandwiches with deli meats and the pricing is great for what you get. Always fresh as well. Ive never had a bad experience at this establishment. If youre in the 5 Towns area, go visit Tamburinos!

2022-05-24Hands down the greatest thing ever created by these mortals is the Spicy Hot Cabbage. It is a divine dish bestowed upon this establishment from the gods themselves. This ambrosia of crispy, fresh, sweet yet spicy after kick of delicious morsels of cabbage imbued with the gods tears of hand crafted love. You would do yourself a disservice of not at least ordering at least half a pound of this god tier level side dish… No I bring shame to even called this a side dish, I bequeath it to be the main attraction.The sandwiches are freshly made to your liking with each ingredient being plucked from the morsels it originated from. I’ve had their Philly Cheesesteak sandwich with peppers and felt the cows souls being ingested and absorbed with how much proper care was taken to feed me this bounty of heavenly meat. The bread so crispy, that my teeth shattered at first bite and the sonic boom that was rung in my ears left me dizzy and incapacitated. I blacked out from the meat sweats afterwards and still long the day to receive that blissful bounty again.The Grilled Chicken sandwich with peppers, onions, tomatoes is also a top notch item to fill up on that old rustic feel of being sent back to ye’ olden times of the renaissance. Imbued with a charcoal smoky bite with the veggies moistening the meat in its juices.Last but not least, the Cannoli. Freshly prepared, made me feel like I was transported to a bakery in Italy. Mama Mia, this dessert has been given the true artistry of being made by a Master Baker (hey now!).Come for the renowned Spicy Cabbage, stay for the sandwiches that nurture your soul, leave with the Cannoli’s as you might leave a lover in a warm bed to go on the next adventure, but to only return to their arms to fall in love all over again.Or in other words why are you still reading this and not at the place already? 2022-03-26This place is def good especially with their portions, but the front desk cashier woman is absolutely disgusting and several people that I work with (we work in a building a walk away) say the same thing. Her whole demeanor is BAD for business. Horrible customer service on her end.
