I dont really like to do this, but today i had enough!!! I order a delivery through door dash today and they always send something wrong! It is not the first time! Weong items or something missing. I love when i actually go to the to the restaurant the service is excellent but with deliveries every time is worst and worst. I order 2 burgers today and they send the order wrong and they barely put fries on it !!!! What a disappointment. 😔
Can’t beat beers and food like this. Very cool spot to hang and have a great meal with great beers. Nice outdoor spot as well.The only thing I’ll say is my vegetarian wife didn’t have too many options. She asked for a wrap without the chicken but substitute for avocado. They not only didn’t give a discount for no meat (which is rare) but added money for the avocado so her wrap ended up being more money than with meat. Next time we’ll ask for the chicken on the side like we’ve learned to do in the past.
The food here was amazing! My friends came out from Staten Island and loved all of it... we mostly ordered appetizers!!! The broccoli balls are a MUST!!!

First time here, great food, just wish there was a little more room (tables so close together) Wait wasnt bad, told 35 min at first but the nice waiter ended up finding us a table in about 15 min. Food came quick, waiter was fast and efficient. We will def be back!
I was impressed with the upstairs area... nice and spacious and tables separated, however we had ants 🐜 at our corner table... in November. Also no toilet paper in the upstairs womans bathroom stall I used, not good!Id have liked more lighter food options however I realize its a tap bar. Bartender was working tables and bar and she did great and very personable. I would return back, as the things I mentioned are pretty customary however should be noted.
It was a Monday night, the 21st of February, Gabrielle and Kaitlyn had valiantly solved what seemed to be a minor conflict. This conflict had soon escalated to never foreseen heights. Without their help it could have been a disaster. Because of their quick thinking and wonderful management skills, this conflict was resolved without too much of an incident and the vibe of the higher was restored.
Been to all these multiple times on LI over the years. Food is pretty good, I really like the wings and the ala vodka sandwich! Pretty good drinks too

Came here for the superbowl and sometimes for a nice big burger. There worth the money and they got the best fries and mac and cheese burger in patchogue, along with their desert shake
Friendly staff, Nice menu...variety of burgers, salads, etc. PLUS wide selection of beers on tap. If you dont have time to visit local breweries/brewpubs, this is a great alternative. Also vegetarian options for my wife. Dog friendly in season, cuz theyre family too.

Was in the neighborhood and I noticed what looked like a fun place. So I did some researching and read decent reviews. They were also open later so it was a good fit for us. We came in on a Tuesday night which was $5 burger night. Guess we got lucky. The $5 is for their regular burger. Cheese was $1 extra. Bacon, mushrooms, avocado were all an extra upcharge and I believe our server said the specialty burgers were $8. The burgers were all served with fries. Not a bad deal. We opted for the sweet potato fries which were served with this incredible maple syrup tasting sauce. I forgot to ask what it was but believe me you want it. I also ordered the mussels, they have a few choices. White, red, a German beer version. I ordered the white wine. It was a bit bland, I definitely prefer mine. The mussels were good though. When the bartender or owner or manager (not sure his title) noticed me trying to stack my shells on a small plate he came over and slid an extra table over to ours to give me more room to use the bowl that I had which I would traditionally use for shells if I had more room. I was really blown away that he took the extra time and care to do this. He was also the one who brought me out two small tastes of the wines I was deciding between.All in all if I lived in the area this is definitely a place I would be a regular at. Good service and food. Only downside is that it is really loud so having a conversation wasnt the easiest.

Hosted a party recently on the second floorDeena the bartender and her male counterpart were absolutely amazing. Food was great, staff overall were super friendly and helpful. Everyone was happy. The 2nd for is a great space, 2 private bathrooms and a very nice front bar and rear earring area.
I’ve been to Tap Room dozens of times. But this last visit in Patchogue was so great that I needed to write a review. Our table service was not so great and we ended up having to leave our table to order from the bar, but the bartender was amazing and she made everything better. My husband got the chicken aka vodka sandwich and let me tell you… IT WAS UNREAL. Seriously delicious. And their sweet potato fries and dipping sauce for them was also out of this world. I had the chicken avocado wrap which was also amazing. Fun atmosphere. A little loud when packed but worth it
Original time I was there it was great in person. Ordered through door dash and got dry old wings…. No blue cheese and no one to talk to about this terrible order!

We love the food! Drinks are good too. Love the casual atmosphere. I prefer the upstairs level, but they often have private parties. The buffalo wings and French onion soup are awesome which is why we eat there consistently. Their sandwiches are good too. I always like to get a house salad, and it is rather large for 1 person. This place never disappoints. When the weather gets warmer the outdoor seating is a good option.Update: About a month ago we ordered 2 sandwiches and an app. We go pick up the order, looked at the receipt, and drove home. I start taking out the containers and realize we were given someone elses order. I call and the manager picks up. I explain the situation and he takes my order again. Not only did he personally drive it to my address, but there was a bonus dessert of fried oreos (which were absolutely delicious). As Im getting ready to throw out the to-go containers in the shopping bag, my friend takes out the receipt and there is a $25 gift card. I was very impressed with how the manager rectified the situation. Tap room went beyond great customer service!

Rude staff. They gave me a doordash order that was missing items. I walk 3 blocks back to tell them. A normal restaurant would apologize and find the 2 missing meals. This restaurant starts the conversation off saying I shouldnt of been taking their food from their restaurant without their permission. The fact that the bartender told me to was irrelevant to them. The front girl wanted me to walk 3 blocks back to grab the food again so she can look in the bag. I tried telling her which two items were missing. The manager was even worse, kicking me out when I told him in not walking back to grab the food again from my car. When the owner sees this he should know drivers dont get any more money from his restaurant then they do from a order at Panera which has parking and no rude staff. Nobody will be picking hisborders up between the parking issue and rude staff.
I love this place!! We took my mom out for a night on the town and went here for dinner and drinks. They have a great beer menu and also do flights, the food always sustains quality and is consistent which is a huge plus for Patchogue, the mac and cheese burger is my favorite! I highly recommend

I went to the The Tap Room with a large group and was given service immediately. Food was tasty and plentiful. I recommend this location for lunch or dinner and just a place for a drink with friends.

Kitchen open super late and the food is actually so good. Nikolai at the bar is such a great bar tender and its a great spot to either eat at the bar or sit down for table service. Their outside dining is great and there is a huge dinning area if you would rather.
Really nicely decorated! The burger I got was out of this world. Whiskey infused bacon that was like a 1/4 thick... Im probably exaggerating, but one of the best burgers Ive had. Price was reasonable. Waited a while for it... like too long. Not enough staff.Lots of selection for beers, obviously. Good size TVs to watch any sports.
We were there for a private party on the 2nd floor. Chicken and fish and zucchini vegetables and potatoes and chicken wings were awesome! Great assortment of beers on tap.

Short: Great Vibe, Great Simple classicsIt was recommended by another restraint. Saturday night. I sat at the bar upstairs. Service was great as I ask many questions. I had the the crispy dragon (a must) and a whiskey bacon burger with a Beyond patty. Great combo because you aren’t dying after you eat it and can hang for the night. Though the fried s’mores killed that for me. So good!Beer selection was just enough not to be overwhelmed. People where very helpful. The host carried a chair upstairs for me. The bartenders were great and knowledgeable.

Extremely noisy, inattentive staff, small tables and seating area. Food was pretty good but the tap selection was not as extensive as I hoped. Mixed drinks were really strong though.
Great food, good beer selection. The waitress, however, was inattentive and difficult to find while my friends and I were there. We waited about 15 or 20 minutes to order our food and drinks, it wasnt very busy for the first 30 to 45 minutes we were there. It took her about 10 minutes to bring our check. After requesting the check she went by our table once or twice without our check. (The rating is based mostly on the food and beer).

Love coming here for their happy hour specials. $5 bowls of mussels in different sauces. We usually spoil ourselves and grab one of each flavor, then down them with their half price beers during happy hour. Customer service is fantastic. Their staff is always attentive. They are open late as well for that after bar snack at 1 in the morning.
The best family oriented and late night bar/grill on the east coast. There basically the equivalent to the old Bull & Finch Pub (aka Cheers) where everyone knows your name... and treats you like your part of the immediate family... Very good wings! Came with a group of friends on Thursday night for NFL games. They were running some great drink specials and food specials. Ran a tab for nearly 4 hours of eating and drinking. We were pleasantly surprised by how reasonable the bill was for a group of 6 guys!Great atmosphere and great food and drinks!

Not a bad location for a wide selection of beers. Inside is a tad small, which makes this not optimal for large groups. Food is decent for bar grub. Nothing too cheaply made or far above-average. Service was prompt and courteous when I was there. But then again, it wasnt terribly busy at the time.
So if you’re in the area, or not in the area, you should make it a point to drive to The Taproom and try the buffalo mussels. They are outrageously good. All of their food, including the fireman burger, are great but the buffalo mussels are worth the trip alone. Truly amazing.
Saying this place has great food and drink would be an understatement. This was one of the most delicious burgers I have ever had. The ice cold beer definitely helped. Of course I will be back.
The Weihenstephan beer is the best. They have great food. Since it is one of the very few places to serve Weihenstephan they will always have my business.
This place is SO GOOD. Crazy amount of beers to choose from, and the menu is great. GET THE MUSSELS. Tuesday Nights are 5 dollar burger and beers, even mussels are half off. Every night is a different special. Upstairs and downstairs bars. Outdoor sitting area, very cozy...would recommend for casual night or date night. :)

Always a great beer selection! They have live music some nights and always have music going during Alive After in the summer. The food is pretty good too. The dragon wonton things are really delicious, and a lite spicy.
Food was good. Service was very good. Something to satisfy everyone and some of the usuals with a delicious twist on conventional restaurant staples.
Great selection of beers with friendly staff and nice outdoor area that is my go to spot if I want to sit down and talk with someone. The only thing that keeps this from being 5 stars is that the last two times I was there, people were smoking cigars in the patio area. Some people might really like that there is a place to drink a beer and smoke a cigar but the smell was really overpowering.

Great daily specials. Bunch of TVs with Most of the important sports games playing at any given time. Good selection of beers at a reasonable price. Parking is a little tough and its not the biggest place around, but its a great place to meet some friends for a drink and some wings.

This was terrible. Ordered on doordash. The burger was a hockey puck with the cheese frozen to the top of the burger making it disgusting. And the wings were undercooked and tasted fleshy and gross. Complete waste of money and time. Please try somewhere different because here you’ll pay $60 on two terrible meals.
If I could leave more than 5 stars I absolutely would. Delicious food, great beers, wonderful atmosphere and very reasonably priced. We were staying in Farmingville for the U.S. Open and decided to check this place out. What a great find and the staff was extremely courteous and attentive. To top it off, I accidently left my debit card at the place. Since I live about 3.5 hours away, I thought it was a lost cause but decided to call them before I went ahead and canceled the card. Luckily, I kept a copy of my receipt and was able to tell them where we sat and who our server was. They promptly mailed my card out and I had it back in a couple of days. Talk about great customer service! Would definitely recommend to anyone heading out to Long Island. Thanks again!!
Its a nice spot for dinner that turns into a great after party. Most items on the menu are delicious and they are pretty reasonably priced. Added bonus is if its a night out you can eat there and hit Main Street to party

Great local place with pub style food. Veggie burger is awesome btw..Nice ambiance and decor. Hi tops in bar area and regular seating in back room. Plenty of big screens to watch whatever game you want. They will change channels for you too!
My husband and I stopped by for dinner and drinks late on a Friday night. It was pretty packed since it was a nice summer night and they have a nice outside patio area. We found the only table left inside and ordered. They have a large selection of beers and do flights of 6 tastings. I ordered a buffalo chicken wrap which was delicious but my nose was running by the end of it. I dont suggest it if you dont like things hot. The fries were nicely seasoned as well. My husband ordered what he thought was a chicken cutlet sandwich but when it arrived to was actually just fried chicken with fries, coleslaw and a pickle. He was a little disappointed until he started eating. It was soooo good. He ate every last bite so I would recommend ordering it. We also got the pretzel appetizer which was good as well. The only I wasnt fond of was that it quickly turned into a loud club scene while we were eating even though it wasnt even 10:00 yet. They started moving tables off the floor to accommodate people standing/dancing to the live music which was upstairs. I assume this isnt the case on week nights though.

I go to Trivia Night on Wednesdays at Tap Room and I really enjoy it. There is always a good selection of beer and there is a friendly crowd. When the weather is nice, I love to sit outside on the patio. I know they have special seasonal events, because I have seen them advertised. Also, the bathroom is always clean which is a big plus in a bar!
The appetizers were amazing. The concept for the entrees were grest. The actual food was lacking flavor. Neither my daughter nor myself ate even half the meal and we threw them away.
I sent my friends to this place with my highest recommendations. I visit this restaurant often. This recommendation is always successful. The meals are flavorable and the crew is efficient and cooperative. Every time we visit this place we have a splendid time. I warmly recommend this restaurant.
Love it here- food is decent, beer and drinks are much better. I like the outdoor seating a lot! Now that they opened up the upstairs, I hope some of the crowding lessens- They get packed out way too quick. Not so fun when there is that many people.

Solid night out with very good food. It can get a little packed on Friday and Saturday nights... gets that college bar feel to it when youre shoulder to shoulder. If you can thier early and claim some space, youll be fine.

Everything was great, mussels were amazing, our waitress was excellent always on top of making sure our drinks were filled. And loved the fact the food didnt all come out together timing was perfect.

I have come to Tap Room for almost two years, and I have never usually had a bad experience. In the past few months, the quality of their food, which was normally phenomenal, has gone tremendously downhill. The selection of items on tap has decreased, so not sure how this is a Tap Room. And when things are off Tap, dont expect issues to ever be resolved. This has been my favorite experience the past three times with my favorite drink not having pressure in the lines, or being worked on indefinitely.And dont even get me started about the upstairs.Taproom, you were one of the greats. Too bad you slipped up.
The mac and cheese bites at 1, 2 and 3am after drinking a bit really hit the f**king spot. Ive ordered these at numerous other places, and they are not even close to as good as what they can do. They have mastered the Mac & Cheese bites. The PSA security here is such a nice dude, who is always smoking a cigar, not like PSA to hire someone nice.
Great location and lots of room inside. However, definitely a place for beer drinkers only as they have a very small cocktail menu and the apple cider drink I ordered was pretty terrible.

This place has a really nice look to it. The bartender was very friendly and the food was delicious, especially the buffalo muscles. I look forward to seeing what the upstairs is like after construction is complete.

Ive been going here since day one and watched the place evolve quite a bit. Its a great place to watch a sporting event or just to relax. The expansion to their 2nd level should help with the crowding issues (which goes to show you how popular it is)
Once you get past the somnambulent service, the menu here is interesting and the food is great. Two stars lost though, not only because our waitress was miserably slow and uninterested, but also because she disappeared completely after wed eaten and left us having to beg someone to take our money so that we could leave. Order (and eat) at the bar and youll be very happy.
Awesome large selection of brews on tap - good food and warm atmosphere. Adding the second floor will really be beneficial expecially in the summer as the main floor is rather tight. Love this location and their sister location in Massapequa Park

Bouncer doubted my ID despite being verified by multiple state agencies thru my job. Tough guy Jimmy name he offered me 01/27/19 January Saturday 2019. Went somewhere else and gave them my tip + sales instead. Get rid of that guy. Funny how no other business on the Patchogue strip questioned my license. Never seen someone trip on so little power.
I really appreciate the service and hospitality of everyone who has works there. Everytime I go I get a warm welcome everyone is friendly and inviting. Food is served late and the prices are good. I recommend this place to everyone.

Hoping it will be better once is renovations are done. The wall full of stickers is distracting and dirty. I counted 12 flys (black and fruit) hiding amongst the stickers on the wall, probably the result of doors being left open. Food was ok.

Been going to the Tap Room since it opened. The cooks, the barstaff, and the waitress are all top notch. Never had a bad experience.

This bar was great about 4 years ago.Now the staff has changed.The wait for a second beer was too long , had to get a different waiter and the mussels were not hot and some almost cold.Terrible because this was a go to place for happy hour.Looking for another place to go.

2021-10-15Great atmosphere, variety of French fries selections, draft beer from blue point brewing and great bar food. Enjoyed our time watching some football and loved my chicken gyro. The brocolli balls were a surprisingly delicious appetizer!

2022-06-12The manager and host were very sincere and kind. There was a bit of a mix up when I had placed my doordash order but when I spoke to the manager on the phone, she was so apologetic and remade the food. I truly appreciated that! Also, I highly recommend the whiskey burger and broccoli balls, it’s so delicious! I appreciate the kind gestures and can’t wait to return for more!

2022-07-11Usually I have a great experience here, unfortunately tonight was a disaster. We sat on the patio and our waitress was Michelle She obviously needs to use a pen and paper to take orders.Multiple tables were complaining and our entire order was wrong. We had to go to the bar ourselves to get waters and drinks that we had asked for over and over again for. Then we were told we would be comped for the appetizer sampler. To our surprise the appetizer sample was on our bill and we paid for it. Honestly probably won’t be back thanks to Michelle

2022-03-14One star because I sincerely regret going here not knowing anything about the place. If a packed college bar is what youre looking for, this is your place! Unfortunately, I went here for my Bachelorette (never been there, dont know the vibe, Im not from L.I.) and I think anywhere else would have been better. Not sure what the usual vibe is, but it was packed with fraty boys and a huge birthday party group of mean girls who gave my group dirty looks any time we had to interact with them. (Except the birthday girls aunt, who was very sweet.)Our waiter apparently got mad at one person in my party (my cousin) for ordering through the bar instead of him, so he brought my other friend her check but said absolutely nothing to us about why. We wondered whether we were being kicked out! He tried to refuse the entire group service (cutting himself off from all 10 of us makes no sense, you dont want the tip because youre annoyed at one person??) but my cousin ended up begging forgiveness I guess because he agreed to take our orders again and was fine the rest of the time we were there. Didnt really deserve the over 20% tip I ended up giving him because of how rude he was to the rest of us over one persons actions, but maybe he also hated the rest of the patrons that night and was in a bad mood... Regardless, hellishly packed, mean people, will never go back. Not my scene.
