Small, no frills place for take out. I have been there three times for lunch and all three times the order was not exactly what I ordered but it was good. Might have been a language thing. People behind the counter were busy and seemed to be proficient with the customers.
I love the camarones a la diabla. 😋This is REAL AUTHENTIC Mexican food.
Food is delicious but you gotta be prepared to wait a while. Its usually a 30-45 min wait when we order food. Also, there are 2 phone numbers to call... gotta try them both before you get someone on the phone.
I love this place! The food is great and the horchata is delicious. I didn’t give it 5 Stars because I’ve noticed that the meat in the bistec/carne asada burritos can sometimes be a little extra fatty and sometimes there’s more rice than anything else. Maybe it’s because they have two chefs or I don’t know... for the most part I’m always happy with the food and give it 10/10 but other times (which is not often) I give it a 7/10 for the fatty parts in the burritos. The flautas are awesome but same thing with the meat. The hamburger is awesome!!! Love the fries. The people at the register are nice and efficient.
Excellent Mexican food!!!! The people that run the place are also very friendly. I recommend if you have time to relax, look for a seat out back and dont forget to order one of their fresh juices with your meal, we ordered the lemonade and oh my it was very tasty. Give them a try it was definitely worth the wait!!
Amazing authentic Mexican food!Their traditional street tacos are delicious.The meats are seasoned and cooked perfectly and the homemade sauces are very tasty.I suggest takeout and call ahead for the space is small inside and food is cooked to order so it may take a little longer than fast food places.
I love the food here, I see all this good review and they are for a reason. Flautas are one of my favorites. I think if you ever see a bad review, it is a fake from one of their competitors. We travel 40 min to get some tacos here once in a while. And we love it
Place is nice clean , service is good food not bad at all considering that the location is far away from the city I had the carnitas tacos I give them 4 stars because they need to add more cilantro and onions in to the taco that portion was very poor and for the Taco to be delicious that is one of the essential ingredients that must have, their sauce green one is recommended better if you like spacy but with that Mexican flavor , the Red sauce is ok not that great since is very hot with no flavor at all , and the variety of Mexican sodas is good not mention the Mexican Candy too ..
They literally tried to give me someone else order that was sitting for a long time. I ordered nachos and they tell me to come in 1/2 hour and they will be ready. Not even 1 minute later they call me back and said the nachos are ready and I can come get them. I get there and they are cold and soggy from sitting for God only knows how long. So they tried to give me someone else’s old order of food. When I brought it back to them to tell them it’s cold, the lady behind the counter asks me if she should just heat them up. How about take care of your customers who have been loyal to you. I will never go to that place again.

This is one of the nicest little Mexican places Ive been to for honestys sake I will say it can be rather cramped but its never been a problem. Along with the mouth watering Mexican dishes they provide, they also have a nice selection of Mexican products such as cheeses, milk, snacks, and other trinkets.
I just ordered for the first time. Everything was excellent! Beef flautas, chicken enchiladas with rice and beans, and carnitas. All was fresh, tastey, and plated nicely...we eat with our eyes first. My family and I enjoyed everything and will definitely order again!
Very glad I finally stopped for some food here! We tried the carnitas and chicken burritos. Both very good nice char on the chicken but not over done. Will be back for sure
Dang that burrito was good, I gotta say the best Ive tasted in many years, usually burritos are more bland but here its tasty, asked for chicken, got a mix of chix/beef but the beef was what made it even tastier, nicely toasted on the outside, feel more comfortable paying $10 over $12 for the size but this is the Hamptons premium I guess, overall consistently good food here

A nice little family run take out restaurant. Their food is delicious, one of the only places where their nachos are covered in delicious toppings without a single chip lacking substance. Would recommend this place to anyone I care about.
Amazing, fresh, and super reasonably-priced Mexican food - highly, highly recommend!! The al pastor tacos, camarones diablos, and nachos (with homemade tortilla chips!!) are stand-outs for sure. Can’t believe we’ve lived here so long without trying this place - we’ll be back!
Food was below average, we waited more than 25 minutes for a burrito which did not have any flavor. I dont recommend this place.
Have been coming here for a few years, such good food! Never disappointed, and they toast their burritos closed instead of leaving them open for stuff to fall out, and they melt the cheese into the tortilla. So good!
I found this place when I was coming back from a flood job it was late right before there were closing and the kitchen was closed I come of not order food I really wanted tacos that night and I went back to my truck disappointed one if the employees came to my taco and gave me 2 order of tacos one for me and one Co so worker she made my night came out here for another trip just to get tacos because there were so good
I love this place. Food is good, groceries are good. They just reopened and I bet the health inspector is stoked on the upgrades. I really hope they do well. My only problem is the overuse of packaging. My burrito lasted less than 5 minutes but the styrofoam (who still uses styrofoam?) and plastic that it was wrapped in will last until my great great great grandchildren are dead. Seriously people, get with the program and ditch the styrofoam containers and plastic bags.

Hidden gem in the Hampton Bays. I was tipped off about this place by a friend who lives in the neighborhood. When I pulled up to the front of the place, I was a little skeptical but the food was thoroughly amazing. Having grown up in Queens with frequent visits to California, Id say I know a good taco. Their carnitas and chorizo tacos were amazing. Now I know where Ill be making a pit stop whenever Im on my way out east.

Generous home made, delicious Latin food. Try the Chila Quiles with chicken. Also serves as a Latin grocery store. Has an authentic mom and pop vibe with oddities you dont see everywhere. One burrito I got was a little soggy on the bottom though but nobodys perfect. Its got a few tables you can sit at. Very small place

We arrived to mi pueblito thinking it was going to be a place where you can sit down to eat- its not. But we decided to give it a chance anyhow. We were very happy with the food, it was incredibly fresh and tasty. The smoothie actually had real guava, delicious. You have to stand in the market and wait for it, but it is top notch take out.

The food was very tasty!They recommended it to me and if it was delicious, everythingI dont know if the owner will have money to have a better quality of areas for his employees, but there was a lot of heat and little ventilation. I noticed that the lady who worked in the back for meals was very tired and sweaty. I think they should see how to make their working hours a more pleasant place. Excellent food, but they should have more customer service, because there are people who do not know how to attend or when calling they are not understood.And specify the schedule, because the kitchen is closed at 10pm not at 11pm

2022-02-04Very delicious authentic Mexican tacos. LOVE the diverse type of meat that you wouldn’t normally find. Everything was great and portions are good. I recommend stopping by if you’re feeling a taco night!!Make sure to spend a little time in the shop as well. A ton of Mexican candy and Mexican brand products

2022-06-20Food is good but service is horrible. I call 20 minutes ahead to place my order and leave my name but no food is ready for me when I arrived. Someone walks into the shop in front of me and their order went through. It seems random if they write your order down or not. I waited 20 minutes in the shop after ordering again in person and the owner looked confused as to who I was, so I asked again if my food was on the way and they hadn’t even started making it. I left after that, since there are plenty of other places to go in town with nicer people who care about customer service. I can’t give this place more than 1 star when you can’t reliably know if you will get your food or not. This has happened like 2 other times before with my friends picking up for me.

2021-01-06The best mexican food in the area and the best Ive had in NY! Everything here is delicious. The chicken burrito? Fantastic. The huaraches? So good.. filling but not too heavy like a lot of Mexican food is. The chalupas and tacos are also delicious. The rice and beans are to DIE FOR. I could literally eat these every day the rest of my life. 100% recommend this place to everyone. Ive ordered from here a few times already and will be ordering many, many more.

2022-04-28More like taqueria mi pelito, when I went, twice in a row my food had hair, order was wrong and when I called the lady with dyed brown hair had an attitude and in general is muggin when she’s behind the counter. When I got my replacement food she was angry that I asked for a piece of fried cheese, would still have my business if they checked her and her attitude. they get two stars because a little old lady who I’m assuming is the mother was very nice,respectful and apologized for her daughters hair loss and also food is good except for the hair, play the hair roulette if you wish.

2021-12-24An authentic no-fuss no mass Mexican take-out place ( emphasis on takeout) off Rt 27 thats the clincher unless you are on your to Manhattan and not otherwise.Your better off ordering bulk. Beef-tongue is particularly my favorite. Very efficient and inexpensive for the Hamptons.Great staff.

2021-10-10THE BEST. Look, if you want mind blowing Mexican food, come here. I got salted beef Sopes, and it is one week later and I am still dreaming about them. The handmade tortillas are so good. Cannot wait to go back!!!
