I have gone to The Garden for about 30 years now. I have made trips to New York City specifically to visit while living in California, Seattle, Oklahoma, Boston, Charlotte and Hartsville just to relax there and receive timeless wisdom and patience always before major decisions about life and moving from a blessed man and his son. This community farm is well worth stopping by if ever in New York City. You wont regret it. There is a calm in the Bronx in the midst of all New York has moving.

A beacon of progress, resilience and activism in the community. So happy that community members have committed to the upkeep of this garden. A delight to have a little slice of nature in the concrete. You can find a variety of fruit, vegetables, and small livestock here. So glad I toured the area

I love visiting this place in the summer time, fresh vegetables and fruit naturally grown. You can plant your own plot, for a small fee of 36 dollars once a year. There are tools already there and Mr.Talib helps as much as you need, or if you want to just purchase fruits and vegetables they have a farmers market sale in the summer.

The most peaceful place in the Bronx.. The trees and plants and herbs and chickens and bees.. The playground for the kids, the Green house, the stage (yes for performing), the picnic area... Theres sooo much this place had to offer! The best part though, its the warm feeling of all the wonderful people there!

Nice sized lot with seating areas and large scale compost setup. Stopped in for a volunteer day with a Unitarian fellowship I worked with.
