I was looking for items in the fridge and when i turned around someone stole cart with food inside. I cant even shop in peace, is there any security there. The thief just took my cart in the store. Who does that?! I understand its gateway target but atleast let me checkout first before stealing my items.
I dont usually write reviews but for this situation I have no choice. I tend to buy single pack Pokemon cards for my children at target & came across 5 Elite Trainer Boxes (3 Chilling Reign/2 Swords & Shield). The original plastic seem to be damage and re-taped on all of them. I assumed it could have been ripped during shipping and re-taped in order to resell it. Long behold after buying one box of Sword & shield, find out that all packs inside were cut open (one pack was missing). That special person or employee who opened every pack must of really been looking for an important card in each pack. This is something the store or management should pay a little close attention to & for anyone buying pokemon products, I recommend not purchasing resealed items.
For the past three years Ive been coming to this target. Trying to buy sport cards but they told me to try another target that they never gonna have it their. A few days later i go back to the store and i see a female employee and a customers huddled around return area and Boom i see SPORTS CARDS In a Square container that they had. I seen tons of cards Football cards baseball cards Pokemon cards hockey cards and topps crome Wwe cards So the female employee told me they have a special locker in the backWhere one employee has the key and only one employee. So I asked how is the custom is supposed to know that they are back their.. she didnt have answers to that question. Something Fishy definitely going on with managers or employees at this location. PS and when you leave the store be ready to interrogated for suspicion of stealing.
If I could give 0 stars I would.Terrible customer service.Manager named Navid likes to speak to customers as if they are children, and curse.And manager Javal is not helpful at all taking the side of his coworkers and defending them.I have never had such a horrendous experience in the 5 plus years I have been shopping here.Everyones explanation was different so who knows who was telling the truth.
Target Gateway sucs...THEY close self checkout probably an hour b4 closing. Clerks cant handle the pressure in counting money. Many times IVE seen it MYSELF. SO GET BETTER, SMARTER CLERKS. HAVING TO WAIT ON THE SLOWEST MOVING LINE IVE EVER ENCOUNTED. HELL NO. CORP NEEDS TO KNOW ABOUT THIS ASININE STORE POLICY. They seriously THINK its progress in the making but FACT IS its gonna be more work, because I will do exactly what I did tonight. LEAVE MY FULL CART RIGHT THERE, TO WIT THEY WILL HAVE TO PUT EACH ITEM BACK IN ITS PLACE. See how effective your policy will be now.Are your stockers stoned all the time? NO, seriously ARE THEY? And in addition to what has already been said. YOU REALLY NEED TO STOCK CAT FOOS, EACH SHELVE SHOULD BE FULL - THIS IS NOT PRAGUE. ITS RIDICULOUS.
The Baby section here is BOMB! I love the variety. I love that you can interact with the strollers, high chairs, swings and cribs. It’s better than the Target that’s closer to me in Valley Stream. There’s always lanes open to check out. AND, I can ALWAYS find someone to help me on the floor—at any time of day. I recommend you check out!
There was no shopping carts so I was looking around for one and found one but an employee was using it, I asked if he was using it, he said yes, he told me to go get one in the front I told him there was no more. So I went and got a basket but everything got so heavy in it I felt like I was going to pass out. Thanks target.
I didnt give four stars because this Target location seems to be empty of items. Perhaps their items in stock sell out that quickly? I dont know??I went there to buy their new Pink polka dot bins...I found the last two they had, but guess what?...no lids for them-what a disappointment ☹...they have the new Ulta store added in to their store and I find that to be a positive movement for those who like one stop shopping as I do!...
Almost as if youre interrupting the work staff. Exchange desk and helpers by self service check out definitely getting paid under false pretenses. Not trying to do anything resembling helping customers. Theres only so many times you can fold a bag to look like youre busy.
Extremely disappointed to find numerous shelves bare at the Target Gateway Plaza in Brooklyn. I could see it on a Sunday, at the end of a long shopping weekend, but this was on a slow Monday evening, and it was a total shock. I ended up buying maybe 40% of what I came for. Everything else on my list was out of stock. Store was clean, lots of convenient parking (slow Monday night), friendly staff who tried to help, but the issue here is logistics and inventory replenishment, which the friendly staff cant control. I dont know when Ill be willing to risk going back to this store again.
I had so much fun today shopping in Target at gate way mall. I and my friend met this guy Bryan at the check out station and he was so respect, humble and yet funny. His customer care attitude was so professional and welcoming, very patient and polite. Thank you Target for having someone like Bryan 👍
I bought a set of Lego Hospital as a gift, I took from the shelf one of two boxes sealed with tape (both worn) and it turned out that the store sold for sale with a $ 99 + tax set which was incomplete - most likely came from a refund from another customer. All blocks mixed together in one large bag, one of the instructions missing, some elements already connected! I paid a lot of money and I feel cheated! Of course, I tried to file a complaint over the phone first, but its a staroste of time! They completely disregard the customer!
Slow service throughout, no help through the walkie-talkie (especially in the tech spot.) Over 10mins waiting on a regular slow day for a electronic leaving without anything.Why have so much staff for so low service. Looks more of a hang out for the staff than being helpful. Ended up ordering online.
Great store, but there stock in clothing and cleaning supplies are at an all time low.( Ex: bras, panties,and socks belts t-shirts for ladies). As much as they changed the store and updated the appearance. It can use more productive products on the shelves. Same issue for the health section,in vitamins. There prices are good. But its a waste of a car drive if you cant get what you need.
Target is a great place to shop for all family and household needs. Shane my cashier was very polite, helpful, and friendly during check out. Shane instructed me on how to use Target Circle, he really went the extra mile for me.The only downside of my visit, is Target Gateway needs more available scooters for customers that are mobility impaired. On my visit there was only one working scooter and the other was not working. Overall always a pleasure to shop at Target. Target was well stocked. Hand sanitizer and wipes throughout store.
The foot traffic in this store was entirely too high. I am confused about what methods and or procedures if any are being put in place during these trying and unsafe times. Also it is incredibly upsetting when you have amazing coupons but cannot use them because the shelves are ALWAYS empty and never restocked. Therefore I would not recommend Target to a friend or family member until this is rectified.
I placed a order online at 11:00 Am for order pick up and went to the store to pick up my item at around 3:00 pm and can you believe they still didn’t have my order ready. Not only that they didn’t have my order ready turns out my item wasn’t even in the store ! When i checked online it clearly said there was 2 available. On top of them not having my item ready before I got there NOBODY was able to help me get something else or give me a reason as to why it took that long for my order to at least get canceled , all the workers seem lost. Smh they really need to train their staff because their customer service SUCKS !
Love this target which is located in the heart of Brooklyn located in the Gateway Center Mall. The store has a wonderful selection with good prices, excellent products, and mediocre staff some who are an example to the Target mission statement while some staff come to work to hangout and consider it a social club.The store mens section is a complete mess with things all over the place. The store is massive in size has a Starbucks with great selection of coffee and snacks and a bathroom that is cleaned hourly. I would recommend this store to anyone look for a good selection at good price.
Reasonable price nice selection but my problem is with the capital one machine thats in Target at gateway mall in Brooklyn.This remark is for capital one bank if it was in another locations this machine wouldnt constantly be down .People like me depends on this machine if your not going to keep it up remove it .I get better service from your machine at a gas station than at this gateway Target location.Capital One get it together...
It’s really messed up how at a point in time, I used to love shopping at target, but it’s going Downhill for them. I made an order almost two months ago for pickup but they never told me my order was canceled and they had me standing there for a whole hour plus trying to figure out if I was making up an order. Now I said let me give them another try.... I try their same day services and they ended up canceling majority of the order. Then still they didn’t come yet with the two little toys I ordered. They charged me 10$ for delivery fee and now it’s past the window of delivery. I’m am so upset ! Early shopping for Christmas has come to end. It seems like you can’t even trust your delivery person to get your items to you on time. It’s to the point that I don’t even want the two toys they think they’re bringing me! Disgusted
Love this store as it has a wide selection of a lot of items. They offer self checkout and have cashiers ready on multiple aisles.They have a variety of options for food clothes, household items and appliances and toiletries, decorations.They have a starbucks and a pizza hut inside.But I recently had a bad experience. I made an online order for pick up. I received the email stating it was ready and when I went to pick up my item, it was a big waste of time. I was helped by a nice young woman who was running the show on her own. She told me that my item was out of stock.Which is absurd to me. Why was I emailed to go pick up my item if they didnt have it? A big waste of time, Im only waiting on my refund it was been 3 days now which is when I was promised it.
Horrible experience: Ordered in app for in-store pick up, received notification that order was ready. Went to pick it up, they can’t find it. Okay no problem it’s available in the app to ship to home for free. I asked since you can’t find my items, can you just ship the order to my home?Their answer: No, you have to cancel and order again.But I used $20 in promotions and coupons, I’ll lose that if you cancel the order.So, I told the girl at guest services, just clear it out from your device and i’ll call customer service and have them ship the order to my house.Her Answer: No! You have to call them here and now or else i’ll cancel the order.This girl couldn’t find my order, I didn’t even make a fuss about why she couldn’t find it. Then she makes me stand here in the Order pick up line talking to Target customer service in front of other people waiting to pick up right behind me, at this point I am there for over an hour. I could have simply talked to customer service at home or in my car at my own convenience. Don’t go to this store, you go to pick something up which you already paid for, then not only can they not find it, they act like you owe them something. Why do I have to teach you how to do your job and give decent customer service. If you can’t find my item, you should come and offer me options to ship it to me, not say ‘can’t find it, have to cancel the order’
Horrible customer service! Really the worst. Asked so many people for assistance and some of the workers just ignored me. Please have a little curtesy. How is target hiring these types of people. They are just walking around aimlessly and not even helping people. What a waste in a company.

She took several phone calls from, coordinated call back times between me and the offsite location in order to resolve my bicycle issue when everyone else just left me on hold until the phone would disconnect. It took a couple of days and she stuck by me through it all. Train everyone to be like JUSTINE, great customer service is king!
This Target is great! Its far from me and the more populous parts of New York City, but worth the trip. The staff here is super friendly. The customer service is beyond what is expected from a retail store. One kind lady brought us a shopping cart without us even remotely looking for one. Also, this store is so spacious and well stocked. Target, this is a great example of a great retail experience. Also, this would be a great location to use as a local distribution warehouse (if not utilized like that already).*Update: I called the store and the staff was super friendly as well. I still love this Target and this neighborhoods residents!

The worst target in the world. The customer service is horrible. Management is horrible. I waited over 50mins for a drive up order that NEVER came. I called the store 35 minutes into my wait and spoke to a manager whom said she was sending someone out with my order in a minute; 10 minutes later and it never came! I called again & asked for the managers name they refused to give it to me. I reported them to corporate. Every time I do a drive up order it’s always something with these people. They make us click out of our order and start over which makes it look like we weren’t waiting as long as we were because it generated a new order number for them. Stay away from this target. Drive out to Long Island. This never happens there! The last manager i spoke to his name is Nick. I hope you all get in trouble. You all need to do better as a company.
If I can put Zero star or negative, I would. This is the worst Target. Yes its big and have a lot of stuff but dont ever buy anything and go there to pickup. I gave them a second chance thinking and I cant judge base on one experience but the second time was worst. I bought two items for in store pickup and when I got there, I got one item within 2 minutes. Then the guy said he had to go to the floor to get the other item. The guy didnt come back till almost 25 minutes just to tell me he couldnt find it. He said he can reject the order and I would be able to have the option to send to my house with free shipping and said I would get an email. When I went home to check, he cancelled my order and I got a refund. What a lair!!!
I check some stuff on the website and there was “in stock”, but when I came to buy it nothing was on the store. But was thing I really was surprised cashier talk on earphone. She hided them in her hair and it was so brazen did not look at me , she even did not say hi.... she just talked with her friend.
I hate going to stores on the weekend, but I really needed some household essentials. I decided to try the ‘drive up’ option where you order on the app and they bring it to your car. The parking lot was filled with people and I thought I would be waiting forever. When I pulled into the specified parking, the app alerted them I was there and within 10 minutes I was on my way. The service was amazing and I will definitely use it again!
I once favored this Target, but a few negative employees can truly ruin your experience there. Basic customer service skills are heavily lacking amongst some of their team members.This is just from todays trip.A team member (no name tag present) appeared annoyed with me asking for help locating an item. After locating the item, while walking towards me she passed a comment to me with an attitude, rolling her eyes, passed the item into my hands while quickly walking passed me. Very immature behavior.Fellow customers witnessed this encounter and chimed in saying how difficult it is to get someone thats willing to help you in this location. As if they cant be bothered.Then while on line, the cashier in the next lane was asked by a shopper if her line was open. She ignored the customer twice, once by turning her back and walking away. After being asked a 3rd time upon her return, the cashier snapped at the customer Yes. Oh my GodLines were a bit long, but fortunately I had a lovely cashier (Dennise, I believe was her name), who was very pleasant. I appreciate her for ending my shopping trip there on a more positive note.The unprofessionalism and immature behavior of a few team members has become a deterrent for me visiting this location in the future.
I was asking bag at time of picking up the item as I was charged 50 cents for the bag during online check out. But store associates didnt give me any bag and said item is too big to fit in the bag they have. My question is why you guys charge for bag where you dont even have that size of bag?
I recently went to this target location @gateway just to be notified that essential workers were no longer granted access when showing their I.D.s because of complaints received by other customers. I just feel a little disrespected by this because of the way we (nurses) work tirelessly and i do appreciate being granted this privilege of not waiting on the line. Essential workers not having to wait in lines to enter the stores is just a small but huge token of appreciation shown to us especially after caring for loved ones during this time of crisis and anguish. Thank you for understanding
Ive gone to this location twice and social distancing and capacity rules seem to not apply to this location. The 2 lines to checkout run the entire length of the store which is fine, but, there is zero social distancing measures being enforced here. They do not offer hand sanitizer to customers at the entrance or anywhere within the store.
I am always satisfied when I come to this target. I am now using the “drive up” because I have a newborn and due to injuries and every time I go, employees there are very good bringing my items inside my car and customer service is amazing except last night with one employee named “Bry”. She wasn’t friendly at all and made me get out the car and put my own items inside. She seemed like she didn’t want to work at all, find another one of you don’t like it. Simple. Hopefully as I continue going to this target, I don’t have this experience again.
I love Target and the many choices for so many items and good prices. I find Erskine to be bright, clean, easy to find signs. (On a side note, the bathrooms are kept clean.) The only thing I could criticize is that they need more choices of Fancy Feast cat food and to lower their (.75 a can) prices. $.67 in Pet Smart) Other than that, wonderful choices and excellent prices.
Line was long then one of my pickup items was not ready. They had to go to the floor to pull it. The entire customer service area was very messy, disorganized and dirty. I stepped on something sticky and slippery that I almost slipped. Entire pickup process took almost half an hour which in my opinion defeats the whole point of saving time. I could have shopped myself on the floor checked out myself quicker.
Very cluttered, went in around 9 pm and it looked like a zoo. They only had 4 registers open at that time which is outrageous, one would think they would have more registers close to closing time. Piece of advice do not go there after 9 pm you will be in there all night
Working for this location was very unprofessional. I will never do business with this location. Favoritism galore in that place and discrimination because I wasn’t of color, I wasn’t treated equal. They always hiring and just know you will be replaced as quick as they can fire you under your 90 day probation. Sobe aware.
Not a bad target. I came here for Black Friday and my in-laws found what they wanted. I was looking for personal items and the staff member was friendly and helped me look for what I needed. They had some great deals here for Black Friday, and the lines werent terribly long when we went (they made sure all checkout lines were open).
I came to the store 8am from queens for clear wrapping to finish doing my daughter’s party bag. I purchased the item before I reached the store to ensure that I got what I needed the fastest way possible. Kema at guest services was highly disrespectful remember this is 8am. I seemed another employee who ensures me once I logged into my account to show them the barcode I would be able to pick up my item without I’d and to go to a manager named me Shirley at the other end of the store. After I walked to the other end of the store she tells me about the policy after she was already informed of the issue. She suggested canceling it so i did. I began to look for the item myself and repurchase it. There were none. I then went back to guest services and asked for the items placed on hold with the help of another manager. The employees are telling the manager how many returns they have and I should wait 30 minutes because they can’t see it in the system to locate it but encourage me to return it. No customer service at all. The manager went and found it for me asked the same girl to check me out for item and hesitated before doing so. They really need training in this store.
The service from the cashier Felicia was excellent. I was very upset with some tights I got for my daughter the price on the items did not match the discount. I went to the return she was very nice and patient explain the issue and help me with in a very nice kind way...usually the experience at the return desk is horrible ...with Felicia it was very nice and professional, she went above and beyond even waited for me to go grad another item before she went on her break..love the service provided ByFelicia at target in Gateway!!!
My experience at Target a few weeks ago was terrible! I came in to return some items. The line for the returns was incredibly long and there was only one person working behind the registers. Why didnt the manager do something about that without having one of the customers go look for him/her to get more people behind the registers? Very disorganized. After that, I went to purchase some items. Two of the items were buy one get one 25% off, but the self check out didnt give me the discount and I didnt notice until after I paid. I went on the customer service line to get the adjustment and when the employee scanned the item, he says the items did not have any discount offers as I mentioned. I told him the offer is what I saw on the shelves. He insisted that I must have read it wrong and that it was probably for something else. He continued to say that when he scanned the item, the computer does not show such discount offers and that he couldnt do anything about it. The least he could have done was to walk to where I got the items from just to see the discount offer for himself to prove me wrong if he truly believed I was wrong, but he didnt. Heck, he could have called someone in that section if he was too lazy to walk over! So, I took the liberty of walking over to pull the tag off the shelf, walk it back over to him and give him the tag. He clearly saw that I was correct, returned what was owed to me. No apologies. Train your employees, program your registers and computers with correct information, and hire people to be good managers who know how to staff people so customers dont have to go through this!

Fast cash out lines, employees seem to enjoy their jobs which in turn makes them Helpful. Shelves are stocked nicely, and isle are usually empty so u can Navigate through the isle. The $$are higher then Walmart and less than Knowles. Theres great parking so I say go for it..
They need to get more employees or get someone who can handle little more than a small section. Anytime you ask someone something there, they be like oh this is not my section ask him/her . If thats not your section dont be there simple. Moreover you ask for an item they dont bother to check the system, You hear whatever we have here thats all. When a customer ask something say it nicely plus dont show attitude.
It took me an extremely long time to find a Christmas tree as there was little inventory. I tried to assemble the tree today and it was clear that someone was previously in possession of, and most likely, returned the tree. When I tried to assemble the tree, the main body part did not fit together, a branch is broken, and the protective guides for the tips were missing. I will be returning it tomorrow.
Starbucks is terrible. I ordered a large frappe and ask for more powder . They charge me for extra and it tasted disgusting . It had no taste, I had to throw it out because I had already left the door and was driving home. Never again am I buying Starbucks from target . Do not buy
Target is such a great store to run errands and grab a few things its loved and cherished by many people and i would always come back to target whenever I need something and I would gladly recommend a friend anytime but I am sure they already know and love it but thanks for having me take this survey
I waited on line to pick up for 30 min, then checked my order and found 3 items to be missing. It took the associate 30 more min to located 1 item that turned out to be 10 feet away from her from the very beginning. Then the second missing item was retrieved from the isles and the 3rd missing item was never located so I had to accept a refund. To summarize I ordered online like I always do and selected to pick up in-store, wasted over an hour of my life waiting around just to get an incomplete & wrong order. I think next time I will stick to home delivery or shop Amazon or Walmart.
Used to Love coming here love all the things Target has to offer but just recently my family and I are getting harassed in the store by random people with sob stories trying to get you to give them money! I was in the store yesterday and got harassed not once but twice by two young girls claiming to start there own business and another young guy showing me pics of him and his son. I’m not a heartless person I feel bad for these people but don’t need to be harassed when I’m simply trying to shop.
I understand that the pandemic affected all of us. Thank you for keeping your stores open. Unfortunately, sales signs at your Gateway store was misleading. A sales sign indicated that Starbucks coffee is $5.99 each when you buy 3 packs. I purchased 3 coffee ground packs but I was charged $8.99 each. I did not have time to stay in line to get my refund or return coffee. I was rather disappointed.
For the past 3 years Ive been buying RC cars and trucks for my son. Everytime i buy it from target they start malfunctioning within 24 hours. Parents please dont but any rc vehicles from this target this Christmas. Target does a poor job looking into the quality of their merchandise.
The employees at the pick up counter were unprofessional, not working and had poor customer service as they let me a 8 months pregnant woman stand for 20 minutes without acknowledging me. They were discussing their personal lives and could care less that a customer(me) was there to pick up an order. Due to this I will never order online again and advise everyone to do the same!
Store was clean, workers were helpful. Lines are fast. BUT THERE WERE TWO GUYS GLARING AT GIRLS ( one was my 14yr daughter), AN OTHER WOMEN AS I WENT TO ARGUY WITH THE GUY. Another costumer said they not worth it. I want to know where was target employees making sure girls/ women are safe
I would recommend it because the prices are reasonable and there is a variety of goods available. My only complaint is that it was crazy shopping there during the holidays and not all of the items listed for pick-up were actually available in the store when I showed up to pick up my order.
Target Optical: Stephanie was fantastic to work with. We arrived close to closing time (rough commute) and found Stephanie to be really patient and very helpful. Her people skills are great and her help explaining our insurance plan was just super! Ive never had better help and Ive used Target Optical for several years.
Well the fresh produce section is limited, they also have self checkouts which are apparently express for 10 items or less but there is no sign and I found it out after waiting 20 mins online and once it get to my turn the guy told me I cant use it, when I asked for a manager he said we have no signs, target never have any signs I told him that actually in other normal stores theyve got signs and requested to talk to his superior on which he answered that hes on vacation. I mean seriously? The worst store ever.
The cashier was rude and bothered when we approached. Her demeanor came across as though she was not happy to be there. When associates are like that, it makes me not want to shop there. There are so many other people in need of employment, yet you have a space saver here!
Ordered gloves online and it said online order ready for pick up. I come in and they dont have my order. The employee had to get on her walkie talkie to find out. She then tells me they have to look for it. Service was very slow here. The target at college point is way better and has a more competent staff.
To all those who deal with Target online for picking items in store if you have multiple items WARNING Dont order from the TARGET and pick up items at store you will NEVER RECEIVE email to pick up your items. I ordered 4 items online receive confirmation to pick up 3 out of the 4 items been waiting over two weeks to receive last item NEVER received email stating item was ready for pickup now I find out today my item was cancelled TARGET says I will be refunded in 5 to 7 business days for there mistake not sending out emails to customers to pick up there item Im one upset customer these items were for my son for school
Not the greatest Target I stepped into… Used to visit Target stores once a week, since they really used to have everything, but what they really miss now is professional staff to help the shoppers. Maybe I will give it another shot one day, but if I will still feel the same way, it will be the last. I own a car, so I can drive few minutes to another location.
Ok so Im at target 7am waiting for doors to open. Ok they said 60 n over vulnerable I felt some people took advantage of that it is wat it is they did a great job managing the line it was a breeze to shop I appreciate them for staying open they had everything good control inside n yea they have way to many registers closed overall good clean well stocked there meats r fresh
Some items you might not find in store that you want but could always order online an have it shipped to you or in store pick up.Certain security guards here is loyal to they hours but not the company. Black Friday an Christmas is approaching. They need undercover cops to watch the security guards. Especially that one female that let certain people go into the store an steal whatever they want.. some security guards work together doing it.. maybe if the security guards are put to the stop of allowing certain customers shopliftng. We as in us customers could find the toy we are looking for..
The store itself is ok. Usually clean and stocked. However, the staff is unhelpful bordering on rude. Asked where an ok them was and was answered by the wave of a hand as she walked away. Asked another staff member who said I dont know and turned around to have a conversation with another staff member. Folks, if your job is beneath you get a different job.
I just left this target and although all employees had a mask, some were not wearing mask on their face! And there were several employees wearing the mask below their nose! This store was only open the most an hour when I was there so they cant say they were wearing them all day. Very disappointed!
Worst Target store I’ve EVER been in. The store is in complete disarray. Prices on items do not match because nothing is organized, I attempted to buy a pair of pants and the woman packing them out just continued to do so, even though she seen I was trying to look and see if the size I was looking for was there, she didn’t move at all, and didn’t even acknowledge the fact that i was standing there. Check out was just as bad, no organization no actual lines by self check out every one is allowed to just jump ahead. I will keep my business with Walmart from now on, it’s further away, but the visit isn’t nearly as stressful. I never did get to those pants by the way, I left with a package of underwear that were priced wrong, but I was too aggravated to go back.
Okay, so whats the problem at Target? Why do they only have two cashiers for t he WHOLE store? SERIOUSLY! They need to get their act together. They also need to stop selling all that food with poison and get more organic foods on the shelf. This is the reason why I purchase very little food in this store. What about some bargain prices on items? Whats going on with the womens clothing section? It looks like they are discontinuing it. I only get a few items in this store. Id rather shop at wallmart. They better get some more workers in that store and stop making folks wait so long on those horrendous lines. Dont go here on Saturday! It is a ZOO!
They have a lot of reasonable prices for several items one may need and a huge parking lot. However, the Order Pick Up sign is not visible from a great distance but, you can find it to the left of the huge sign saying, Exchange & Returns just look at the counter top level of the cash registers to see where the line begins; also, you can find the Order Pick Up sign in much smaller font underneath the Exchange & Returns label.
I find that target has falling off because everytime i go to target i have to double check my receipt because i am being overcharged for items. For example on the shelves the prices are different from the prices at the register for the items i would double check to make sure its the correct price tag but when you reach the register the price is 1 or 2 dollars more
Had a horrible shopping experience ever!The associate by name “Felicia “ at guest service dept was unprofessional, extremely out of line and beyond rude! This lady had the nerve to tell me “I am giving my 4 year old an attitude “. Because I told Felicia to tone down her attitude while I asked about the “paper bag fees”. I was livid and situation could have escalated but I would not stoop to her level but ensure target mgt address this associate cos Felicia makes target looks bad. She lacks customer service training and don’t need to work with people. Smh
I like this Target store. On most days is well organized and the staff is very helpful. Of course, like many large stores, it can get super busy during peak hours. Then it turns into a mad house. The staff tries to keep it together, but some customers are beyond rude. Overall my experience is pleasant. I go early in the morning or Monday and Tuessay. Avoid the peak hours.
Service at the pickup counter was terrible. It took half and hour for 4 people to get their items because no one was available at the station, when people did arrive, they were verbally fighting. Once they finished fighting, I received my order by a very rude employee.
Customer service was horrible, the cashier had a very nasty attitude towards her customers. An email and text message was sent to me stating my order was ready for pick up, when I got to the store and stood on the online pick line for about 45 minutes only to find out my order was never put together and I was told I could wait for it to be delivered from another store! This is the third time I placed an order online to pick up from Gateway and I’m never satisfied. It’s sad because the store is in my neighborhood and now I feel like I need to travel to Queens or LI just to get great service!
This Target is the worst Target I have been to. I went into the store with my puppy in a bag carrier my puppy is fully covered and the security guard stopped me. He told me that no pets are allowed even though she is in a bag. I asked to speak to a manager since this is the first time Im hearing this. The Manager Melody who was wearing no ID badge tells me that the is their policy, turned her back and walked away. Why is this policy at this Target and not at others?
This is the worst target I have ever been too. The bathroom is beyond discussing the health department should shut the store down.. Apart from their being no soap which means all employees arent washing their hands. Their actual crap on the stall that work and floor and doors. No one cleans the bathrooms. Its so disgusting. When you approach the manager he has no interest in sending anyone to clean it. He just walked away laughing... Excuse me sir the bathroom has no soap and is discusting and he says oh really whats wrong with it.. As if he hasnt got any complaints so far. The woman who was in their before us was taking a video and was posting it.. No one is open at register no shelves are restocked its discusting
I dont know if its just my taste, but everything in this store sucked. Their options of clothing, home decor, entertainment - just seemed bland. I couldnt find anything I liked. The shelves were mostly bare, prices were kind of high for quality, and the Starbucks was closed.
This was one of the few time that is wasnt crowded. 6pm on a week night. All the registers had less than 7 people and the self checkout was not bad either. However the hair product section for ethnic hair is always whomped. I have no clue when they restock but everytime I go there, im searching for products that they dont have. Everything else is pretty good in this store. But the beauty section from makeup to hair always looks like it needs replenishment.
Worst customer service ever! Ordered something for pickup. Got an email that it was ready. Came to get it. They say it wont be ready for another 2 hours! I said Ill come back tomorrow. I come back, they tell me it will be 10 minutes. No problem! 20 minutes later I ask the person behind the customer service desk where is it? Shebtells me no idea I called it in after that its not my problem! We call a manager and we finally got it 40 minutes later!!
The only single thing I hate about this store is their Check Out System! Theres always hundred of cashiers in the store but they will only have 5 registers open! Every time Im in this store I spend more time on my two damn feet waiting online than picking out what I want to buy! Like right now, I came in to buy a pair of shoes and it took me a minute to find the mens shoe section, pick out the show I want and get on this disastrous line, on which in still waiting behind 4 customers to check out. With another 6 customers behind me and its the same on every 5 registers they have open! Its obvious target does not value their customers time and only value taking their money!
They are starting to look like the Atlantic ave station... EMPTY SHELVES... no one says hello and if you need help they just point you over there... and gotta love security following you around and randomly selecting when they want to check receipts at the exit just cause I purchased Enfamil (baby formula). Do better!
I came to the store with my cousin to exchange an item and I can never go into target and walk out empty handed. I had the pleasure of bumping into one of the Sales Associate by the name of Dryae and I asked him to help me find pretzel crisp because I didnt see them in the chip isle. He was very pleasant and eager to help me that we checked another isle and we found the snack pack bag. I was ok with buying the snack bag but Dryae scanned the bag to find the individual bags for me and he found me two bag which were tucked under other potato chip bags in the chip isle. I was very pleased because I now can eat my cheese slices with my pretzel crisp.Thanks Dryae your services were greatly appreciated‼️
The PRICES FROM CARTWHEEL AND APP IS NOT ACCURATE I FOUND SEVERAL THAT DID NOT MATCH FROM STORE LOCATION ON MY RECEIPTThe cartwheel and manufactured coupons policies 2nd paragraph also WiFi is weak I tried 4 time to sign in as a guest. CASHIERS ARE TOO DAM TALKATIVE WHILE PROCESSING TRANSACTIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!They are vendictive when cartwheel and coupons are supposed to be added!CUSTOMERS PAY ATTENTION TO YOUR RECEIPT AND CARTWHEEL AND COUPONS DEDUCTIONS!
Someone tried to fraudulently use our bank card at Target 1401 519 Gateway Dr, Brooklyn, NY 11239-2801.My bank notified me; the store didnt catch it. Obviously they dont check ID or have policies in place to prevent credit card theft as they are legally required to.I have been calling this horrible store all day asked to be transferred to security/ loss prevention or management. They refuse to pick up the phone in either of those departments. Nobody will call me back either. The only person who answered said her name was Virginia (probably untrue) and was rude and ignorant as hell. When I finally reached a manager he was polite but stated that it is Targets policy not to investigate or follow up on identity theft or credit card fraud. He told me he was refusing to release the records of the transaction or review/ release the surveillance video, even though Target is required by federal law to provide this information for free, within 30 days to victims of identity theft. I will be following up.I find it extremely suspicious that the card was fraudulently used here. I lived in Brooklyn until 2012 and shopped at Target. However I was in California when this happened.Moral of the story: dont even shop at Target. Obviously they learned nothing from the data breach lawsuits. The employees at this branch definitely dont practice good customer service and probably cant even spell it.
I was trying to download the Target App but started to have issues with my cellphone. Aasha, one of your associates helped me with the process and explained the benefits of the app. I got the 20% discount on christmas decor, reason for the visit. I would like management to recognized Aasha for outstanding customer service, this associate went above and beyond. Thank you, Aasha.
Very large Target that I love to just browse around in. There is plenty of free parking that makes it easy to take home your large purchases. They are pretty well stocked and is one of the cleaner Targets in the area.Easy to get to either by the Belt or via the streets. Right next to BB&B in the mall so easy to price shop similar items.
Yesterday my experience in the electronics department target gateway mall in brooklyn was horrible. Tech had no clue on what she was doing charged me twice and didnt no how to fix the issue, to busy on her personal phone and hehe haha with her fellow co-workers i stood waiting more than an hour, Had to engaged in confrontation with one employee due to the fact she couldnt control her mouth, she called herself being a smart ass Instead of her helping she felt the need to run her mouth. Bad service incompetent workers never again. These people wouldnt have jobs if it wasnt for us the customer, target needs better training for there workers.
Called costumer service for item ask if in stock the female said yes, but when I go in nothing ask other staff he was like it should be by this area trun out he didnt know what the hell was sterno fuel. I call costumer service in store again asking if in stock said I ask can you check the system to confirm put on hold for 3 seconds said no we ran out . Like he didnt even check. Lazy ass ppl. Smh the only worker are the cashier.
Dirty bathrooms, snack poorly maintained, most items not available, what food they have is over cooked and tastes old. no beverage machines waited one hour for manager to requisition hot soda from store by then food was inedable. Tables were filthy and food area smelled of garbage.
The woman threw away the pizza at the counter twenty minutes before the pizza place closed and said she absolutely could not make anymore. Listen Im a fatty and saw three pizzas there literally 90 seconds beforehand. Dont close down twenty minutes before you actually are supposed to close down?
The store is a big. Mess I know trere are renovation going on but they are moving things around and when they put things in there new place they are just thrown there. Management should take control and let customers know they are either out of merchandise or that they may have to search through the mess
The worst customer service in all of Brooklyn!Im here trying to ask the supervisor at the electronics departmant today, he was wearing a black fleece sweater and he is a very darkskined man for a inverter and hes busy on his cellphone texting and then had the nerve to tell me his store comes first. That is not a good response to a customer asking for help.They are disgustingly rude in here and you can never find anyone to help you. I shop here all the time because its the closest Targets to me.
Those credit card scammers come here and in the video game dept they come at night and buy tons of things. I think one of the employee is working with them because they only go to him. Not enough people at the self checkouts and not enough registers open on the weekends
The workers are very unfriendly. They do not smile. A lot of them are extremely racist. My son and I were asking where the skillets were, the staff looked at each other and says somewhere in the aisles of 30s. Another customer needed help, they ignored him. No disrespect, I am white and my husband is black. When he went to ask the gir l the same question, she have him a straight full response. He looked at her, and told her shes racist. She says no I aint. He said you are, and told get you ignored my wife and son and have them a run around answer but not me. She looked at him, with wide opened eyes and said thats your wife. My husband told her, yes.it is. I an married to a white women. She just turned and walked away.
Way too busy, long long long lines..I ended up not buying anything and leaving all my stuff because the line was way too long, there’s a few very good efficient quick workers and many that are just very unhelpful, can’t speak English and don’t listen enough to help you find what you’re looking for.
All u need from childrens back to school electronic housewares shoes for boys girl women man toys baby wear high chairs car sit u name it they got it food hot and cold supermarket u need to check everything you need woman undergarments men undergarments the list goes on and on enjoy people👍👍👍👍
Your sales people suck....my niece tried on 2 bathing suits, they didnt fit, handed back to fitting room girls and they had the audacity to laugh and say of course they dont fit....well target you just lost a customer, maybe you need to train your salespeople on manners and let them know without customers they wont get a pay check!!!!
Horrible place to shop unless you like dealing with morons. I purchased a tv for xmas only to open it and find trash in the box (@target). Do yourself a favor and avoid this mall entirely the people shopping in this area are animals and so are the low budget employees.... Just sad 😢

2022-06-15Huge suburban style development this target location maintains a massive stock. Very convenient to bike to as well with bike racks outside the entrance.When I went the self checkout was closed resulting in long lines but employees were doing an amazing job moving people along fast as they could and I didn’t have to wait long.

2022-05-19Target always has what I needs . in and out as usual but today . I needed help with an coupon ask self check out girl for assistant n she could have cared less. Oh she came over but told me to go on my target circle app n save the offer n just left. When I knew that I didnt need to do that. It was signs all over the store for the bras. Buy one get second one 50% off. I just ask another associated (who was pregnant ) to help n she went well above her duties to help.

2021-01-06The Target mall is very spacious and large enough to accommodate over 500 customers at once without necessarily getting closer to each others. Even at 6feets observation.All customer service staff are very smart and very supportive. Signs and directions are easy to locate as its clearly spell out.There are men and female convenient.There are clothing and pants for men, ladies and Childred, socks etc.
