I love Target, but this one is really gross. For some reason, it smells like really strong cigarette smoke as soon as you walk through the doors and all the way back into the back of the store. I stop here to or from work to pick up snacks or household goods, but I will no longer do that. I thought it was just a fluke, but every single time now, it smells like strong cigarette smoke and I wear a mask because of covid. I dont know if there are 20 people standing around the air conditioning unit outside smoking up a storm and pumping it through the system, but it is nasty and makes me not do my normal shopping. I got all the way to the back last time and turned around and left without buying anything because I was getting so nauseated. Really really gross. I will never go to this one again.
It’s a clean and organized store. Cashier Damien was pleasant and helpful.
Thelma at the register was amazing. She helped me with so many questions I had. She was patient and kind and got me through everything so quickly. She is a gem at target!
The store is in terrible condition. Not 1 register with a person behind it ever. Self check out only ( Im sure as to not have to pay actuall employees) cash only accepted at customer service?!?! Dont waste your time.
The last time I did a pick up order someone named Ryan helped me and he was wonderful! And the person who brought our order out today was great as well. It makes shopping during this time so much less stressful to have curb side pick up with such an organized process and helpful store associates.
Had an excellent experience today looking for hand sanitizer. The woman who stocks the shelves was very pleasant when she told me the shelves of sanitizer were empty but that she would bring more up for me. I waited for about 20 minutes and she brought up a new batch, letting me choose how many I wanted before restocking the shelves. To my surprise, they only cost $2 apiece. No price gouging. Nice job Target.
I ordered stuff online so I dont have to look for the stuff in the store. I went pick up my stuff to find out they have long lines and only one cashier handling everything. I really feels bad for the cashier but manager should help out too.She just passed by instead of helping out the cashier.

Although I do like the store itself, its becoming increasingly frustrating to shop there because of the check outside. I went there yesterday (11/25/19) during lunch and the store was very busy. All the self-service checkouts were open and only one register with a cashier. Both lines were very long, causing several people to leave their carts and walk out. I think its a disturbing trend with companies expecting their customers to stand in long lines only to have to checkout on their own. If I received a discount for doing the job an employee should be doing, I wouldnt mind, but the only benefit is to the corporation being able to save money by having less employees to pay. If this continues, Ill find another place to shop, one that doesnt expect me serve as a pro bono employee.

Wow the entitlement in this store by the employees is incredible. I literally overheard an employee alerting other employees to get the Nintendo switch while you can then he has the audacity to try to be a professional employee by limiting me to only buying 1 due to profiteering. Hmmm its policy to limit me to 1 or is it because you and your fellow employees are looking to make a buck off your stores limited supplies? Which one is it?
The customer service from Target for my pick up in store order was fantastic! Very very pleased with the Target phone representative that assisted me over the phone regarding my order and with the Target customer service person that helped in store with my item pick up.I will note that I was very annoyed that the item ordered was listed as IN STOCK at my local Target, when I placed my order, and then was NO LONGER AVAILABLE after my order was submitted and processed. Ultimately I had to go to another Target location to complete my pick up. NOT at all happy with that... so if you order from Target to pick up in your local store you might want to call ahead and verify that product is indeed available before you place your order.Overall I am pleased with the service because I got the item that I wanted and at an excellent price... just not thrilled with the having to run to a Target store in another town to get it.
I would recommend any target except this target. There are never any cashiers to check out. One must either get in the long self line or the customer service line. Only one cashier in the customer service line. I was very lucky this time. Also, there were baskets blocking customers going down an isle. Im assuming employees just left them in the isles since they were filled with inventory to be placed on the shelves.
Pleasure to shop here. Spotlessly clean, employees wear masks and wipe down carts, excellent produce section compared to other stores.It’s been my “ go to” during this awful time.
On 12/9 I was in the store to pick up an order and it was cancelled. Nina went above and beyond to help me. She redid my order plus gave me a GC. Thank you NINA for making my day and being so patient and helpful!
My last several visits to the Monroe Target have been rather frustrating. Items are consistently placed with the incorrect items leading to confusion over the actual price. On each occasion, I have brought an item to the register, only to find the price to be significantly higher than the price marked on the shelf.

We went to best buy and bought the computer at target. Target had better pricing and a few other things we needed.
A below-average Target. Usually dirty, poor stocking, and either really good or terrible cashiers await your next visit. You better know where the items your are looking for are located because its hit or miss engaging with the employees. I sense a lack of pride at this location.
Barely any wait, my items were package nicely and the associate was very careful not to place my items on the ground as it was snowy and Icy.
I am here every single day and the people who work here are amazing. Specifically the Baristas- Sydney. Jada, Brittany and Astrid
This Target sucks! They have poor inventory, empty spots on shelves, things are randomly thrown around, the place is filthy and they only have the self checkout open...maybe 1 actual cashier if your lucky. Also the Pizza Hut express in the store is never open. The only positive is that it’s still a half step abouve Walmart and easier to get in and out
Very disappointed in this store this morning! This is what the store looked like at 9am. I totally understand its the holiday season and theres a lot to be done, but there has to be a better way. Customers should not have to navigate around boxes and carts of merchandise on the floor and blocking aisles!
Target is great I love it, If your ever interested then look at the reviews and youll probably see that most of the people like it. So I really suggest it.
Walking into that store makes me feel so calm and peaceful. Everything is so in order, and nicely displayed. The items are marked very clearly in front of each aisle, so I can find easily what I want. The prices are great according to the quality, unlike wal mart where the noice and chaos leaves me with a headache.
Most people know about the Target store. Prices should be posted for every item ! Many items or shelves did not have prices. I shopped on Monday.
So my cart is packed, its a week before Christmas and I have to ring up all my stuff on my own or leave it. No cashiers only self check out. Horrible

The Monroe Target is always my destination of choice for the items which you offer. The personal is always welcoming, informed and helpful.
A tall Asian man was working and he had a line of 15 people. I waited in line, but It was taking so long i decided not to get coffee aasked for a water instead. He told me to go to the back of the line. An associate was on her break sitting 3 feet away and this man was clearly flustered, rude and overwhelmed. Spilled milk and items all over the place. I suggested he call his help back from break, then let her finish when the line was clear. He rudely told me that “she was intitled to her break, and that he can’t give me a large water, only a tall and wouldn’t do that without me waiting in the line.” I own and operate a fast paced business and It’s common practice to call an associate back from break and help if you are overwhelmed. The associate can easily finish the remainder of their break when the line is clear and the customers are satisfied. This was an example of a poorly trained, and irresponsible manager, not impressed and completely let down.
Pickup process was quick and no fuss. But, it was not at all obivous where the pickup counter was. There was absolutely not signage labelling the pickup counter! When I asked the clerk at the Returns counter where to pickup an online order: he said Here!
After comparing similar products and services to other stores in the area, Target tends to come out on top. For example, Ive used the online picture printing services elsewhere and Target is the only place where my pictures have consistently been ready on-time. The people that work there are nice and I generally have a good in-store experience. Returns are super easy, but check-out can sometimes be a bit slow. One noticeable trait of this Target compared to other Targets in the area is that its clean and thats a big plus for me. *Edit (11/14/2013) - Bumping up another star because they have free wi-fi now.
Never has anyone on the registers every single time I go there. Ridiculous line every single time.
This location is my fav. Everything is super easy to find, staff are super friendly and registers mine very fast. The starbucks is the best love the servuce abd staff there too. The pharmacy is also great everything is a breeze!!
Items are convenient, prices are great, only one thing: Customer Service. Their customer service was good, then bad, then REALLY bad, then great. I would expect ok customer service, but a decent store.

Stopped to make a few purchases just before closing and found what l needed. Even in the last minute the clerk was friendly and effecient.
Never buy a phone from these people because it turns out all your target mobile needs will never be true, by that i mean i purchased a new phone about a month ago and after paying for full ensurance, i called the ensurance company whom i had believed i registered with and it turns out, they never even had me on file, during this period of time i also was working for target mobile so if they cant even ensure their employees, who can they ensure? I can tell you who, no one its all for profit when it comes to targets electronics so i wouldnt even consider target for a new phone just trust the cellphone companies who completely bone you too
Decent store but the large guy working in tech n the blond really messed up Black Friday for me they were literally playing favoritism had us waiting 3 hours waiting on people and as soon as we had one Hick up with our process they rushed us off the blond couldn’t finishing eating her humas instead of taking care of the customers she had to eat before she presssed a button u would think on Black Friday they will move with haste giving the facts there was a deal they were the two slowest people I’ve ever meet in my life Middletown had all there iPhones sold out by 11 they didn’t seem more than ten from ten to 12

The Target near Woodberry Commons, was clean and well stocked in their bullseye section. I really just came in to get a drink from Starbucks, but I also brought two items. I used the self checkout, and wish there was some kind of order because while using it others online was standing too close, I am glad I use the tap and go with my card, I am sure they could see my card information.

2022-06-03Intended to simply pick up my order and browse for Father’s Day ideas. Found some treasures I’ve been on the hunt for for nearly a year. And then some! I don’t know why I didn’t think to go into Target sooner!

2019-07-08This is not a clean Target. The shelves are empty in alot of spots and the shelves are not conditioned. There are many areas of the store that are hazardous. Unattended stock, shelves are in disarray. There are no team members on the floor to help you, and only self checkout. I was on vacation in the area and visited this store several times. None of the checkouts with a cashier were ever open. Only self checkout. Items on the floor on my first visit were still on the floor a week later. This is a disgrace to Target. I have never been in store this disorganized. I hope Target Corporate sees this post. In the mean time I posted pictures on Google Maps for this location.

2022-05-03Update 5/3/2022: Went here yesterday to pick out some new bathing suits as the old ones i had didnt fit. They are right in the front of the store. They had lots of bathing suits to choose from - from 2 pieces to 1 pieces, and they had a bunch of colors too. aisles were clean. Even went to the fitting room to try some of the bathing suits on as i grabbed a bunch of sizes for everything. The fitting rooms were clean. As for the fitting rooms, they have 2 family size fitting rooms, and the rest are single fitting rooms. i used the smaller one, as it was just me who was trying on clothes. Did a good job finding things that fit. Went on my merry way to the cash register, and there were only 2 open. i didnt have to wait too long on line tho, but still. Also, i had sensors to remove, so i had to go to a cashier instead of the self checkout. Purchased 2 2 piece bathing suits, and underwear. total was $116.00! However, i wanted to get bathing suits while they still have plenty so, thats okay! Will be back!Been here before pre and post pandemic, they sell lots of things, including cds, dvds, electronics, decor items, bedding items, bathroom items, as well as groceries, and clothes for women, men, kids and juniors. always enjoyed shopping here as people are friendly. never been to the starbucks, but they have been there for a while.visited yesterday because i went to pick up my new prescription at targets cvs pharmacy location. everyone is nice there, and had a pleasant experience. Since i was there, i browsed the dvd section and found the Scream movie on DVD. i immediately picked it up, and ironically just seen the newest one in theatres. (so i was thinking about purchasing the movie on DVD) only thing is that it might be a misprint in the code because as i rang it up, it said it was Scream 2 (lol!) Meanwhile, there was all of them out on the shelf. I also brought new jeans for work, as i like their jeans. Went to the self checkout line, took care of everything, and was off to my day.

2021-09-22High marks on all the things that are important to me: Easy to order, usually quick and friendly runners. Good selection, good price, mostly seamless between pick up/ driveup and ship to options. GREAT customer service.

2021-10-04This store is so bad with Drive up/ Pick up Orders, Sometimes take 2-3 Hours are more. Its absolutely ridiculous. Ive been to several Target and this is by far the worst. The management team needs to get this under control. Theres no way a small order should take this long. I definitely miss the Poughkeepsie store since I moved here. That store is sooo efficient.
