Because Natasha Mcdoe is an amazing associate that should truly be rewarded for kindness in being a wonderful customer service helper. She is truly awesome. If all of Your staff is anything like her then I will shop in Target constantly and spread the word of her graciousness with helping me find the items needed for my Mom. Please tell her the lady that she helped get the leggings wanna say thank you.
I only added 4 stars because its very difficult to wait in line with a broken leg amongst other things and have to sit on an unused Checkout Station when staff was available. Dont get me wrong theyre helpful. But management should be better about that.The store is big and not everyone uses a wheelchair.Self checkout would be even harder which was only other option.The cashiers and staff seemed tired because they do a great job as do aisle staff etc.But I think maybe the manager should, maybe notice they are either not accomodating disabilities well, or that they may be understaffed etc.Employees arent the Problem they got it 4 stars.Management would be 1...

Target has very competitive prices and the quality of the food items are excellent ... Vivian the cashier is the best !!! I alwasy seem to end up in her line without realizing it and shes so sweet, attentive, informative and she knows just about everything Target :-) ... I also really enjoy the Target brand Spinach and Artichoke Hummus !!! The BEST !!!
Service and Product Availability. Joey was working the self checkout process and he was fast, effective and courteously. He was delightful.
With the pandemic, we do not take our children to the store. However, for special occasions to get a toy or something, we have brought them to Target late at night to avoid the crowds. The store has been cleaner than it was before. All employees are wearing their masks, and the carts are being cleaned too. Vivian just happens to be our check out person every single time. She is always very kind and patient with our boys while they count out their money. Thank you Vivian!!
Ive picked up several times from the Newburgh store- always without any issues and very quickly.
Pick up in store was easy. Im glad they asked for my ID when picking up. It made me feel more likely to pick up at that store so nobody can steal my pick up orders. After picking up my order I was able to walk around and leave with even more stuff because of how satisfied I was at the pick up line.
My wife has difficulty walking. She recently started using a wheelchair. My grandchildren were waiting with her after the register. I was at the register with my daughter. An employee rudely told my wife she needed to move. She can not move the chair herself. My wife was very upset with this experience. This is the third store she has visited in a year now she does not want to go in any more stores.
The first time I wrote a long answer on why I would choose this store but my phone froze and I dont want to type it again. It was my first time in the Newburgh Target. The store was VERY clean, organized, and I met 2 employees. I dont know the name of the young man but he was stocking the cleaning section and my cashier was Deb and she educated me on Target circle and how to use the app. I wish you could read what I wrote before. This store went above and beyond with customer service.
Fast, i was in and out, no waiting in line. Jack was there to take care of my order. He was professional and very courtesy. Thank you for hiring people that are welcoming like Jack. Its nice to be meet with friendly associates. These are hard times and his smile just made my day
The front end manager, Melanie, was extremely helpful. She went above and beyond for my son , whom was trying to purchase end of the year gifts for his 6th grade class.
This Target has improved tremendously since I had first shopped at this store. Much more product is stocked to the shelves and properly priced. The food area is finally stocked well. It also seems very clean orderly. I hope these changes are permanent because I plan to go here much more now!
I ordered something online and it says they have 1 item available for pick up in the nearby store (Middletown). One hour after I received an email that it isn’t available anymore so i chose another store (more than an hour away) to pick it up. What Target is showing in their website is that you would receive an email after 4 hours the most that your order is ready for pick up. Come more than 4 hrs and nothing so i called the customer service. They asked me to wait until today (24hrs after) if i dont receive anything call them back. I called again this morning and nothing it’s still showing processing, customer service told me to call store directly coz they cant do outbound calls. I called Guest services and said they cant give me an update, nasty woman from Bronx Terminal Store Guest Services who answered the call at 11:26AM on 7/26/2020. I explained to her that I just need an update because it’s been more than 24hrs and i just want to know if they have it on stock and she got nasty and told me well it’s still here you gotta wait and hung up on me. I love Target but you guys should be accountable with your staff’s behavior. I work for another industry and we get written up for every single thing because you know why? Unfortunately we live in a world where the customer is always right. I only need an update for something i paid for and you promised a 4-hour window in your website. This is my 2nd bad experience with this store. I live an more than an hour away from that store and just so u know people depend on what you will say in your website whether you say it is 2 or 4 or 24hrs because we have jobs also or maybe like me today is my only off. But I will escalate this because consumers deserve better customer experiences from you guys.
I generally love Target. This Target is located in a busy strip mall as the anchor store. Parking is sufficient most of the time. This Target has a Starbucks and a small eatery with pizza, pretzels and other quick eats. There is also a pharmacy at this location. This Target is generally clean, and the staff is very friendly and helpful, but can suffer at times from lack of stock or merchandise is not available due to sheer volume of shoppers on the weekends and takes a while for restocking which can be frustrating.Lines here are hit or miss. Sometimes they are quick and efficient, other times there are not enough lines open and lines can wind out into the store isles. I try to shop at Target to avoid that, but somehow this has become a problem at this location. Courtesy desk is helpful and generally hassle free.Overall a good, solid Target but with some issues due to the popularity and location of the store.This Target does receive many of the featured designer clothes lines
We came in to the Target in Newburgh because the Poughkeepsie Target did not have what we need it. We drove about 25 minutes to get here, and it was worth every minute. The store was clean, organized, had what we needed and the staff was very friendly. When I told Angela, one of the supervisors, she shared the store had a lot of call outs today. You would have never known it from the way the store looked and the staff behaved. I would recommend driving as long as needed to come to this Target!!
Awesome return policy like other targets. Popular merchandise is a hit or miss when it comes to whether its in stock or not because theres a bit of foot traffic here. Staff is friendly. Store is mostly clean and organized. Above all, it beats going to Wal-Mart!
Today I noticed Target was very stocked and with great selections. Glad to see business is back.
Many products on the shelves have no price displayed.
Too expensive for the average person. Dont buy pet or laundry supplies way over price. Your better off going to BJ or walmart.

Love how clean the store is and that it is a one stop shop for all our needs. If I need to buy clothes and then buy some food for the week its very convenient. Food is a little pricey compared to supermarket but I guess thats the price you pay for convenience. Clothes are stylish and prices are reasonable. Would definitely recommend!
I’ve moved to Newburgh from NYC recently and shopped at this store yesterday. Found all I needed and was helped on my way by friendly staff. Unfortunately I left behind ( on a cart?) one of my bags. Being angry at myself I was convinced my stuff was gone. Today I called and my bag was at the customer service!By NYC standards it’s a miracle. The nice, relaxed ladies with smiles on the top of it all.Real pleasure.
Shelves are empty, pallets of boxes block aisles, poor selection. There has never been a time I have been here where there werent aisles blocked with pallets or piles of boxes. I dont understand why stocking the shelves and making the store presentable arent a priority at this location. You cant even maneuver a cart or stroller down each aisle. The only thing great about this location are the cashiers. They are generally chipper and friendly. They are kind to my kids and seem very happy!
I have always loved Target but my experiences with the Newburgh Walmart has made me love Target even more. The store is ALWAYS very clean and calm. The associates are always willing to help. Just last night I was looking for an item that the web showed you had but it wasnt on the floor. When I asked for help finding it, the young lady looked and she didnt see it on the floor. She then offered to look in the back to see if she could find it. That made my night even though I didnt allow her to go out of her way to look for that item for me, it was the thought that counted.

Nice Target. They service so many people on day to day, so I think there is no reason to go down on them and to show some understanding. For me they are OK, and I am saving money when shopping at Target.
Fired me due to me being pregnant 👐🏾 Loved the job but the HR team is rude and honestly very disappointing. They said they fired me due to a situation I never got training on but I know that it was really due to me being pregnant . Never will shop here again due to their lack of compassion. Do not order drinks from here! I went to get a drink with my little brother before we left the store to find little bugs in the drink when I opened in the car. The shopping parts good just I wouldn’t buy the drinks.
- This Target is not well stocked at all in the grocery section(this has been an issue for a while). There are always bare shelves constantly - especially in the freezer section almost all the time with everything out of order and very messy. They put the price tag for something, but its never in stock.- Online and in the app it says something is in stock and when youre at the store its not in stock or takes them forever to put it out on the shelf with a price tag if its a new product.- Throughout the store many times the price tag is wrong. It rings up more at the register than what the price tag shows - very sloppy.The Poughkeepsie and Monroe Target is much better same with Bethel, CT. It seems like Newburgh nobody stocks the grocery section...and if they do its once a week or once every two weeks.
Greeted and asked how I was doing by 4 employees 15 feet into the store, ZERO cash registers were open. Only 1 of the self checkout stations were operating. Use some employees to operate cash registers.
Everything is always in stock, the associates are friendly and always willing to help, also knowledgeable about products. Also the target in Newburgh has such a wide variety of items I can shop for anything and everything in one stop.
So Ill start off with the good stuff. Friendly employees, organized well, always carts available, and self check out is awesome..Now for the bad stuff:Strawberries always covered in mold, always I just dont understand. Empty shelves or destroyed merchandise. Ive accidentally bought crackers and other snacks that expired many many months ago, not sure why they were on the shelf. Bathroom is 85% of the time filthy to the point of I feel bad for whoever has to deal with that. And the garbages outside are almost always overflowing.Also they dont answer emails, I took a survey, got an email from a manager to talk to them and then never heard back. Oh wellBut much better than the Middletown or Monroe target, if I could give those places half a star I would

Theyve really expanded their toy section in the past 5 years. The womens section is good, but the mens is not. You can also get Papyrus brand greeting cards here which is great.
I have only used this pharmacy 3 times and 2 of those interactions I was waited on by one of the representatives named Angela. She was rude, condescending, and laughed at me when I asked to speak to a manager about her outrageous behavior. I would not recommend using CVS Pharmacy at Target in Newburgh to anyone.
I purchased an item that i didnt notice was opened already. There was no instructions in the box. I dont know if all the peices were there. When i tried ro exchange it there were no more in stock. There was no rain check. I lost out on rhe sale price. I will no longer shop your store. The box had a repackage sticker on it that i didnt notice. Your store didnt even charge that price. I am discusted that you would place an item back in a box with no instructions or packing an try to sell it.
Everything was clean and organized, they had most products I was looking for. The way they ran check out was very well organized, there was limited contact and they cleaned between each customer.
Target is very quick in making ready the order and handing it over at their store.
If you plan on coming this to Target, I would suggest popping over to Wal-Mart or heading to another towns Target because this location is atrocious.When I first moved to the area I thought the general condition of the store was just the result of maybe a good sale that went on and the customers just went rampant, but I was completely wrong.I have observed, over a couple of months, a variety of issues that makes me question the management of the store. I wish I could post pictures, but unfortunately I cannot do that here.1. Aisles and aisles are filled with the giant trollies that carry the huge boxes for stocking and carts filled to the brim with miscellaneous items. Many times, the aisles I am looking to go down for my shopping needs are completely blocked off and I am not going to move anything for fear that the box with the bookcase inside will fall on my head. This isnt a temporary occurrence maybe close to closing hours on the weekend. This is any day of the week, morning or night.2. Conveyor belts are broken and cashiers wont inform you until you put all of your grocery items on the belt. Then you either have to move each item individually closer to the cashier or take the entirety of your arm and push your items closer. This has not been one register, I am aware of at least two or three out of the select registers they keep open regularly so there may be more.3. Expired food!! CHECK ALL YOUR FOOD ITEMS! I almost bought goat cheese and it was TWO WEEKS past the sell by/expiration date. Inexcusable.4. The store in general is just in shambles. Aisles are not stocked, clothing is strewn about, even the wrapping paper section looks abused. I never see anyone EVER making an effort to clean up the carts or stock shelves, but when I set my cart aside to go try on clothes, an employee takes my cart and I not only have to go back and get another cart, but now I have to find all the items that I just had.Just... if you plan on coming here, just dont.
I really want to go here instead of Walmart but this place is always a total mess, stock piled in aisles, out of half the sizes and products, damaged items left on the shelves and long disorganized lines. I keep trying but they never seem to improve no matter what time of year and their friendly, helpful staff all seem miserable. Very disappointing from the better company.
My husband and I recently purchased a home in New Windsor, my sister lives in Newburgh, Ive come here before with my nieces, now I will be coming here all by myself, its relatively easy to find, I made a house warming registry & came here to see if the items I chose were in stock, a lot of the items werent there, I was a little disappointed, but there is always next time, very helpful staff, guided me directly to the area I needed, another Target Ive visited some of the staff just points & says its over there, so kudos for that; Ill be back to shop some more for the things needed for the new house,
This will be the absolute last time I shop at Target in Newburgh. Your store is a wreck. The important things I order are never in stock after I’ve placed my order online. Not worth my time and frustration I’ll shop elsewhere.

Im going to be so honest.You need to learn to control one of your employees and teach her to keep controle in her work place. Today one of your employees, Alyssa Rifflard, freaked out and yelled, left her register when people were waiting and proceeded to talk bad about customers.Nothing happened for her to do this, it was the second time this has occured. I wished I had no star because you need new, proper, respectful employees.
I want to brag on the #newburghtargetstarbucks They were seriously short staffed yesterday (2-7-18) and the young lady running the Starbucks was at lunch, so they had a temporary closed sign up. I asked the front manager if she could find someone to please help me get a drink and she managed to get in contact with Assistant Manager Joe who was doing scheduling and Area Manager Alexis who was fixing to clock out. Both came to the front to help serve me. By this time I had already passed up Dunkin Donuts and went to my tried and true favorite, Starbucks. It was terrible outside and I really didnt want to get out of my car, but they have always gone above and beyond. Joe got behind the counter and made an amazing Vanilla Bean Frappacino. Terrible target. Seems like they never restock. There maternity/nursing section is really sad and never re stocked. But it is Newburgh so what do you expect.
This target used to be great, that was then. The people are friendly but the shelves are never stocked. Product is just tossed around. Its gotten so bad I find myself shopping at walmart. Just do better.
Customer service up front at the cash registers has been terrible lately. Ran in on my lunch hour to grab a couple of items. Stood in line 10 minutes before they opened another register. Cashier rang me up and then discovered the credit card machine did not work. Grabbed my items and moved to another register, that register did not work either. I finally walked out without my purchases after the cashier yelled out is there a cash register in here working right? Target use to have a policy if more than three in a line they would open another register. i guess that policy no longer exists. At least Walmart has self checkouts so I can get in and out fast.
Be sure to check expiration dates on all food. So much of the food was expired! Milk, chips, cereal. I know I can go other places with better prices, but I prefer here. I may have to rethink that.

Non-clothing stock is untidy, always changing and limited. There is no outdoors section really at all (except bicycle supplies). Staff is friendly however.
Target is like the littest place evr!!! Target + Me = BFFs 4evr!! I meet all these single moms, who are hot!! The deals are great, like last week I got a My Littleist Pet Shop from the clearance isle for $5.00. What a steal! I also get my kraft mac n cheese for $10 for 3 packs of 2 microwavable. I get dem gr8 deals. Littt doooooood

Went in today to grab a few items from the store but unfortunately they were not on display so after about 5 minutes I asked 3 employees if they had the items and without even searching or checking the back they just said if its not there we dont have it. Even though the website clearly states they have the product in store. Im shocked at how lazy this target is from Walmart. I just went there and paid a few extra bucks for the items I needed.

This place always looks like a war zone. The staff seem to always be unpacking and restocking the shelves, there are boxes and pallets left in the middle of the aisle which Block access to certain areas. Their seasonal section is always a mess and things are just piled everywhere. This place is poorly managed.
I usually get my electronics there Derby cheaper than most places their clothing is pretty good too I havent checked out the food section
A typical Target store and a small grocery area and I believe a Starbucks and a pizza area to chow down while shopping or taken a break...its in a plaza where IHOP and Pizza and Chinese food and grocery store and Landrymatt is all at and other small businesses..big parking lot and close to Interstate 84 east and west..

Like this place its not as crazy AZ Walmart. I think its better organized then Walmart and their prices are comparable they also have some great sales

I am disappointed.i looked something up online to see if they had it in stock and the site said they have it at that store but when I got there there were none. I asked customer service and she said they are out and and it takes 48 hrs or.more to update the site. I think that is poor business

2022-05-27The fitting rooms at the Newburgh location have been closed for months. It’s filled with carts full of clothes that never seem to be emptied. The women’s department is always a mess and nothing is ever organized. There were one 2 registers open on a Friday afternoon on a holiday weekend

2022-04-27Often out of smaller sizes of clothes. NEVER had the baby registry bags in stock (tried every month my entire pregnancy and finally had to order one online.) No one EVER answers the phone, no matter what extension you dial. The extension for customer service doesnt even ring. If you have the choice to go to Dutchess county or Middletown, just skip the Newburgh Target all together.

2020-08-25Stopped by on my trip to Newburgh. I was looking for a case of coconut water, however could not find even single one. Staff were helpful but store did not have any.

2019-08-11This place was very busy on the Saturday we went. All in all it is a nice target with the grocery section and Starbucks in addition to the clothing and home goods sections.If youve been to a Target before, you have a solid idea of what you are going to get here. Yay corporate consistency!

2022-03-26Customer service has been going down hill for the past few years; I believe they are close to being the worst! I have called numerous times and cant get a hold of anyone. I have ordered things (and paid for ) on my app- and by the time i get to the store it is no longer in stock.

2021-10-25The cashier, Trish, was awesome! She was very cheerful, friendly and helpful. I typically do not complete these surveys but her customer service today was incredible! In a time where everyone seems down she was fun! A joy to be around!

2022-02-11Don’t work here if you want to be treated like a wage slave. Team leads and managers treats everyone unfairly, male manager only gives special treatments to female workers. Please do not work here, go apply elsewhere and they don’t give you benefits either
