The website shows the opening as 8AM yet today February 10, 2022, I’ve been calling since 8AM and no answer. I connected to Electronics and Apparel the line rung off the hook. I wanted guest services or pickup and that line ring off hung as well. If you’re not going to open and answer your phones than don’t open until your lines are properly manned. Disrespectful and totally unprofessional - will not recommend this location or pick up from this location ever again -
This target is pretty good. My only complaint is two weeks in a row I ordered drive up in the app and both times they made a few errors although I will say one time they realized their error and did give a five dollar gift card when they did. The store itself is clean and shelves are stocked. The workers have always been nice when I have gone in.
The staff /manager at the Sayville location were wonderful. My cashier was knowledgeable, polite, courteous, friendly, and engaged in brief but meaningful conversation. My checkout was by far a wonderful experience. The store was a bit warm for me, and I would probably had done more shopping if not for the temperature. The inside of the store is clean and organized. Unfortunately, the outside needs a bit more TLC. The cigarette butts that people choose to throw on the ground is beyond repulsive. Why do smokers think that s okay?? Perhaps a disposal would help. The liter that blows around is also unsightly. But otherwise, by far... the best Target around.
Great target, but poor experience thanks to one of the workers.We had a pickup order for tomato sauce of which we were going to use to cook dinner with. When we arrived, the woman came up to the car instantly asking for our last name. After we told her the name for the order, she snarled and began to complain that we came too soon and didn’t give her enough time because they were busy and are timed. That’s fine, I get that, pressure from work is hard. But she was extremely rude to us. Then, she went in the back for our order and when we got home we noticed the cans were dented to shreds. I foolishly didn’t think to check the cans when she handed us the bag. We went back to the store to return the cans & noticed all of the other cans of the same type on the shelf weren’t dented. The dent also looked suspiciously like someone had pushed on the can. Really rude and petty thing to do. Thanks for wasting not only our time, but the kind woman Gabby behind the counter as well who had to help us return the item. I didn’t catch the rude woman’s name but she had blonde hair & was wearing braided pigtails.
This target is nowhere near where I live. It was so clean and organized, made it very easy to shop. One of the employees Michelle was so sweet to me. She offered to help me even though she was clearly busy! That was amazing customer service! I will always be coming out to this target to get the customer service I got today!
Yesterday 6/4/21 expecting to use my Red Card for the 5% off total I had not used the card in a while. therfore When I went to check out there were questions I had about how to get the 5%. The cashier was not much help because upon our interaction I was told I could only use my red card for % off . When trying to use it I was told I had to have a pin #. I did not remember the # so only option I was told by the cashier person was if I did not remember my pin # I had to use another card for which I did not get the 5% off of my total purchase of 53 dollars and change. I like Target for purchasing my mouthwash and dental needs but I quite often run into a problem with the Target card. Perhaps I will try Costco or a a other store with the same items and perhaps a better price without the discount. Your customer assistance needs help.
Cecilia in customer service deserves a raise! I walk in to do an exchange and shes on the phone with what sounded like the NASTIEST customer ever, trying so hard to please this unpleasable woman while she gets cursed out for only trying to help. While her and the other girl (who was also very nice) were dealing with a line of customers. Then when it was my turn she was extremely pleasant an apologetic even though I was the one that felt sorry for her. I worked as a store manager for over 5 years, she is the type of worker I would always look for. Then, while checking out, something was ringing up wrong. Another girl checked and told me it was the right prive. After I left I looked at the receipt and sure enough I was overcharged. Thankfully Cecilia was still working and immediately helped me fix the problem. Great representative for the store!
If I could give no stars I would of. I normally go to theone in Medford where I feel comfortable but the only reason I came to this one is because I just got my nails done right down the street from Target. While ringing my items at self check out, I see the employee staring at me making sure I ring in all my items. Okay no problem but why I only saw her watch me and not the other customers. Why, because Im a minority who this community feels threaten by. I WILL NEVER SHOP HERE AGAIN AND WILL TELL MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY TO NOT SHOP HERE AS WELL SINCE THIS STORE WANTS TO RACIALLY PROFILE!
Honest I do not normally do reviews, but this Target is the only Target I prefer going to. I have been to most of the Target’s from Massapequa all the way to Riverhead. I travel a lot and Target is the store I always enjoy shopping around in. Always clean with nothing on the floors (I hate going into a store and it’s messy) it’s really always stocked where the clothing sizes are open with variety and there is always employee’s around to help. I sometimes have trouble finding some of the things I need... I happened to run into an employee named Michelle - she was actually working in the baby section but I needed help in the women’s section... she helped me right away, actually helped me make an outfit for my gift I was putting together. I have not one bad thing to say about her, she was such a pleasure! Before I asked for help I saw her working very dedicated.. I felt bad to bother but she did not mind one bit and I am so thankful I met her because she was truly such a pleasure. By the time I was leaving Target to check out... I went back to her area to thank her and to bless her rest of day!! The cart she was working on was about empty... that shows how hard she works and still she was so smiley and such a sweetheart to converse with! She makes Sayville Target even better to go to. Thank you Sayville Target and thank you Michelle !!
Eh, its a Target store. Pretty much all he same. The HUGE negative here in Sayville is the absolute filth and trash from this store along Broadway Ave.. How about some community pride where you do business Target? The Medford store area is so much cleaner!! Looks bad for Target!!
The young lady was very patient with me. She asked if I had the target APP, though, I am not tech savvy when I was doing a return. I said I placed the order on line. She was very helpful, patient and extremely nice. I am an avid Target shopper and all your staff are wonderful. KUDOS to target management.
I made an order with same day delivery. I was contacted by the shopper and she shopped my items. Then hours go by and no delivery. I contact customer service and apparently there was an issue with checkout that had nothing to do with my payment method and nobody bothered to let me know. So I just waited around for the order while Target made no effort to email me or text me to let me know there was an issue.
ABSOLUTELY AMAZING!!A good friend of mine was shopping at your establishment yesterday. She accidentally left her bags in the car with all her babys food and clothing. When she came back ten minutes later the bags were gone. What you guys did next was absolutely amazing and beautiful! She was told to bring in her receipt and without charging her you replaced everything. Your kindness and generosity will never go unnoticed, she recently lost her 12 year old son to epilepsy the hardest thing a mommy will ever endure. She has always remained kind and giving to others in need and this time Target you returned that favor to her and then some. This has brought tears to my eyes and you must be recognized for your generosity. Bravo target for having such an amazing policy and a wonferful staff that cared enough to understand. We all thank you, you guys are rock stars!!
Sales and target app are annoying and hard to navigate and confusing pricing - asked two clerks for app help and they had no idea - why should i have to scan and use and app for correct pricing??? Why not streamline things? This is why people use amazon instead of target.
Pop It Numbers and Letters was advertised on line as being at the Sayville store available for curb side pickup. I drove to Sayville & was unable to locate it. I asked a young man passing through the department if he could access his computer. He led me to a spot where item was supposed to be but there were none remaining. He checked & advised that there were two(2) such items at Medford store I asked for tel #, called Medford and after a few prompts, got to customer service but the phone just rang & rang & no body at Medford picked up. I bought 3 lesser but similar items. Got home & found one to be damaged. The employee at Sayville was outstanding. The lack of coordination between on line advertising in stock items being for available pick up & the actual in store availability was awful & the response from the Medford store was just unprofessional.
Target has many items for personal use, the home, groceries & clothing. They could figure out a better time for employees to stock shelves as they load the aisles with U-boats and piles of boxes, especially in the grocery section which seems to be lightly stocked about half the time. Overall its a good all around department store with great prices and good customer service.
The store is always clean and well organized. There is a wide variety of products and the prices are very reasonable. I shop in three different Targets - Bay Shore, Sayville, and Medford NY. The associates are an asset. During this time of unique circumstances, the staff have been doing a wonderful job keeping everything clean. They are also monitoring social distancing.
I went to the Sayville location on the morning of 9/19/20 to purchase a specific brand, couldnt find the item at first because it had been put on clearance. Ok no problem. Paid for the item and it was still at its regular price so I went to customer service, which I had to ask where it was because it was not at its old location and there was no sign for the new location. Ok still no problem. At customer service, I am told that anyone could put these labels on the item so the customer service rep. has to give me the higher price because that is the price on the app. Meanwhile the bar codes on both labels are the same. Any person that has worked one hour in retail knows to check the bar codes. So was customer service insinuating that I went home and created a label with the same exact bar code to save three dollars or did this person just want to say no because there was no supervision? Whatever the reason, I will never be back to your store. Have a great day.
I love coming here. I always check my cart wheel app and make sure what I need is in stock because sometimes they run out of things quickly. But, I’ve noticed if it’s on cart wheel sometimes it’s not on the shelf in store. So sometimes I have to ask someone for help and they get it from the back for me. They’re usually very nice and helpful and I. Always get what I’m looking for
Generally fairly clean. The cashiers have all be very friendly, including the Pizza Hut & Starbucks workers. My gripe is that this store is is poorly stocked/restocked on many items on groceries. I often find empty shelves or freezer cases. I like the store overall, and its conveniently close to home, but what good is the location, cleanliness and people, if Im forced to shop elsewhere due to lack of stock. Id give them 3.5 stars, but Google doesnt have a way to do that.
This review does not pertain to the store itself, but rather it’s fulfillment team. I received a Netgear N600 WiFi router today which was originally fulfilled in your store, and I’m quite upset about how it arrived. The product is intact, and it still works, but the way it was packaged was terrible. Whoever packaged it attempted to use a size 413 box, which was too small to fit it. Instead of grabbing the next box size up (which is like 3 times the size I get it), or using any air pillows/bubble wrap at all, they decided to just jam it in the 413 with no protection whatsoever and just send it out. I’ve worked fulfillment for the company before, I know how this is supposed to be processed, and I’m very displeased that it came like this.
Sorry to say but the manager at the time of my holiday season visit, Paul K., was very judgmental of my *ahem* appearance (Im trying to be nice and not state the obvious), and told me I couldnt return my Target purchase at his store and that I needed to return the item at the Target I purchased it at. This was AFTER his associate verified my return and receipt were legit, calling him over to re-check, and then disappearing for about 2 minutes, only to return and say he couldnt fulfill my return at his store. So not only was there a lady ahead of me who was returning a 1yr old Christmas tree, which he stated was no longer in their computer system, she didnt provide ID, nor did she have a receipt, and Paul still gave her a refund. I had ID, a receipt and my item was purchased just 3 days prior, and my request was meant with.....Ill leave it at that. So one could imagine how furious I was after patiently waiting and standing on a return line for over 15 mins. I actually knew Targets return policy prior to my visiting this Target and proceeded to call Targets Customer Service department to have them also confirm that I should have been allowed to return my item at this store, and any other Target store for that matter with a receipt. Shame on you, Paul. And shame on Target for hiring and promoting someone like Paul to run this store I frequent so often. Oh, and if anyone is wondering, after I spoke with Customer Service, I headed to the Target in Medford, NY. The lovely Target rep over the phone told me that if I should run into another situation like I did at the Sayville store, at the Medford store, to call her back and allow her to speak to the manager currently running the store at that time. However, no such call was needed. The associates over at the Medford store were kind enough to take and process my return within 2 full minutes. Im not joking. They verified the product I was returning matched the box it was enclosed in, checked my receipt and then asked if I wanted cash or the total amount refunded back onto my debit card. 2 MINUTES! And this was NOT the Target store I purchased the item in. The manager, Paul, over at the Sayville, NY Target needs to get some sensitivity training and stop judging people before it backfires one day. Im completely disgusted.
The last 2 times I went to target 2 things I purchased rang up as a different price then what the shelves said price was. Then the cashier didn’t have a clue so I had to get manager. He would not give me the price it said so I complained and he said “ show me where it says that” and I did, then he gave it to me. It was a $50.00 price difference and I was purchasing 2. So for me it was )100.00price difference.
I went to Target to get a new phone after my land line died. I know nothing about electronics. Christian got me a phone that was perfect for me and activated it, which turned out to be no easy task. But he didnt give up. He was patient, kind and knowledgeable. Target is lucky to have him. I hope he gets a raise!
They do not honor the return policy posted on the site. Basically they won’t take anything back. I had my baby registry with target (which also was a terrible experience!) and when returning product I didn’t need they refused to take it. Said it was sold online only so they wouldn’t take it back in the store. (Website says to bring it to any store location!!) I wound up going to the Medford Target and they were very helpful, took back everything and were a pleasure.A week later my mother went in to do an even exchange for a pair of pants (change of size only) and she was told they would only give her store credit at the lowest sale price. My mother argued at why would she be forced to take a loss when they are going to resell the item and she is just exchanging for the Exact Same Product in a different size. They were nasty and refused to provide common sense customer service. Needless to say, myself, my mother, and my four sisters ( all which have husbands, kids, etc) refuse to shop there anymore. They lost our business.
I bought something that was marked 14.99, and it rang up as 79.99. And i asked if i can get a manger because the cashier was being rude. Not the best decision bc the manger was extremely rude. I’m not the one to write reviews but this manger was being nasty and sarcastic. She was talking to me like i was dumb. I love target but this manger was so rude to me.
If I could get a negative score I would. I don’t like the sayville target store. It is always a mess year round. I was never greeted at the front of the store or at checkout. The holiday eondersop was disgusting. I couldn’t get through one aisle because there were boxes in the way. The other aisle had merchandise on the floor. The two associates that were in the women’s department talking amongst themselves saying “she is dumb as a bag of door nails”. That is very unprofessional
This newer Target shows much disappointment to shoppers.First of all their prices for food are not that low priced.Others items are sort of comparable but Target is usually priced higher. Litter is also spread around the parking lot.They seem to have a lack of customers never seems busy.
Horrible experience there. I was returning three soups for another fragrance. They said it would be ten dollars more to exchange. I said, I rather keep the three and buy the new fragrance once I am done with these. She said that would still be ten dollars. I ask why. I brought these and I am taking them back. She said if I take the soups that I had brought in and not pay the ten dollars I was stealing. I explained I purchase these and I am taking them back. After a long discussion which clearly went no where. They screamed that I was stealing and made a big scene. Very embarrassing but, they were so not Smart, I hadto just leave. Never Again.
I often visit here during the am hours and there’s boxes all over the place, because they haven’t finished putting the product away. I was told they don’t price match by the cashier. The manager then proceeded to tell me that a few dollars is one thing but $15 dollars off for a price match is much. Horribly managed location. We will drive the extra 10 minutes to a different location or there competitors.
I bought a tv today and when I got home it wouldnt sense the remote. When I rechecked the box I noticed a sticker declaring it defective. I called the store and the man was very polite and sincerely apologetic. Twenty minutes later and Im sitting in front of a new tv with no problems. Great customer service :)
I love this store. Always clean, friendly & helpful employees and this store always tends to carry what I need. I enjoy the prices as well. Always lower than the grocery store. Thats my only issue, bring in more grocery items. Meats, chicken etc... Definitely get 5 stars then & Id never shop anywhere else!!
Great Target except the only problem is that this place is a madhouse when it is daylight. I only try to go at night other wise you will be waiting forever to checkout whether it be register or self checkout. Also they dont seem to stock up well on variety of products like the Bayshore location does
This store has taken a turn for the worst.... Everytime I walk in, doesnt matter what time of the day, store is trashed. I go for convenience of location. Service sucks, aisles are cluttered with boxes, today there were flies all over the cat food. I used to love this store and now its a dump. Going elsewhere✌
The Target store at Sayville is decent. Customer service is ALWAYS on point, helpful and courteous. However, the recycle is filled literally 9.8 out of 10 times I show up. The lot attendant is either nasty because he has to empty it or takes 20 minutes to show, if he shows at all. I hear hes on break more than anything. Also, the past couple of months the clothes depts are a complete mess. Disorganized, clothes on the floor, unpacked out stock in paths. Just not what it used to be.
This target location is a fun a well organized store and a place that makes food shopping fun and my daughter loves coming there to find cool crafts and cute items I what i love most of about it the Starbucks that always gets my order perfect this is a great location !
Im assuming nobody here knows the meaning of the word ambience. Such dead air in this place lol. No music playing, ever. A funeral home has more environment than this place. That being said it still is a pretty good store, but jeeze take some pride. Inventory is usually pretty terrible tbh too, go to the car products aisle if you want to laugh.
I think management is lacking. This store is new, but has been deteriorating ... notably: long checkout lines and serious lack of keeping shopping carts out of the parking lot (difficult to even find a parking space because of all the carts ... of course, shame on the shoppers for not returning their carts, but if staff does not put in the effort to retrieve the carts then go to the ALDI system where a shopper puts in a quarter only to have it returned upon the carts return).

This location is generally clean and usually has items in stock. Management here has a serious issue work hiring or scheduling. They almost always have lines at checkout stretching into the clothing area. Very often I have to wait ten minutes or more with my family to pay at the registers. The people in charge here are either incapable or apathetic as the problem has existed for over a year.
Well to start off I was always more of a stop and shop or Walmart shopper. But that has changed!! A young man named Joe helped me find some porkchops I desperately needed for my bbq later that week. Anyway he was extremely helpful and very polite and Im not into dudes but if I was hed would of been on my bucket list I must say. Anyway I plan on making MANY more visits to target and i look forward to the excellent professional help thanks a lot Joe you saved the day 💪
Dirtest store Ive ever seen. The nature preserve next to the store is constantly littered with Target plastic bags, advertisements, there are literally trees with more bags in the branches than leaves. If it wasnt for one good natured man whom cleans it up on a daily basis, you wouldnt be able to drive down Broadway.This man, puts his sign on the grass strip, but a Target employee removes it every time. Looks like the guy finally gave up. How about some Civic responsibility every once and Target manager? Disguisting, long since lost my business. Not that they care, or anyone else does, but cmon, clean up your waste!
Jessica a young lady at star bucks made my coffee sneezing into her hand not washing her hand saw her drop multiple cups on the floor and picked them up and put them back on the counter when I asked her to remake my coffee after she washed her hands she had an nasty attitude no customer service skills I just left the coffee being a nurse I plan to have the Dept of health observe this store will never get anything at that star bucks again
Every time I go into this store with a list, more than half the items are not available. These are basic items - milk, butter, eggs, etc. This particular store in Sayville is not worth shopping in. If you need to shop at a Target store, find another one. This one is a waste of time. I didnt want to give it any stars, but I couldnt post with no stars.
This place is complete and utter trash the reason why is because first of all they had no Yugioh cards and not even that but they didnt have Pokemon cards as well they didnt have any cards in the card area I cant even imagine that and the worst part of it they didnt have Amazon gift cards like are you serious the richest company ever and they Dont have Amazon gift cards never will I ever come here again but the service was good 👍

2022-06-05This is the dirtiest target I’ve ever been to in my life. It’s disgusting, messy and has horrible customer service. This is the target off of sunrise highway in Sayville. Never going back and I wouldn’t suggest you go. Walmart is cleaner than this. Oh and if you have an issue target is so cheap it’ll give you a $5 gift card and what is that supposed to pay for, sales tax?! I mean if you really care about the customer do better and train your employees better.

2021-12-21My normal target. Today I placed an order and I am writing this review from the drive up sign. Where I have been waiting for 15 minutes. Multiple cars have arrived after me and have received their orders yet I am still waiting. The app says sorry for the wait but doesn’t make sense since others have received their orders in a timely manner. Unacceptable service form target. At this rate I could’ve went in and grabbed all my items on my own in less time than this “convenient” method.Update: after waiting nearly half an hour I go inside to ask about my order and they tell me that they gave my items to someone else and now multiple items I ordered are out of stock so to make right they gave me a $5 gift card. Unacceptable service coming from target. Someone walked away with free $90 of product and I get a bad experience and missing items.Update update: tried to use gift card and it was empty!!! was never even loaded with the $5.

2022-06-09Placed an order through shipt.com and it took hour and half for them to start shopping for an order. Obviously some employees are milking Targets minimum wage of $20+. Not nice to have customer wait for their order of two simple items two hours . I live around the corner from target but with small baby on hand it made sense to use service I already prepaid for the year.Shopper didn’t even get in touch through message to keep me informed about the order.

2022-03-16This target is only a few minutes from my job. I stop in sometimes on my way home or on my way into work. I really like this location! The store has been clean the times I have gone in, the aisles are usually organized and I love the set up. The only thing I wish is they had more self checkout stations. Other than that I really enjoy stopping in and shopping around.

2022-05-05Placed an order for pick up and when I got home and unloaded my bags I noticed someone stole my chapstick out of the box there for giving me an empty box. Tried to call customer service to let them know and to resolve the issue and no one answers the phone.

2022-05-27They never answer their phone! The only departments that pick up are pharmacy and optical, which are private companies anyway and can’t put me through to guest services. All other departments, including guest services, DO NOT ANSWER THEIR PHONE. They get ZERO stars for customer service.

2022-05-14I like the convenience of ordering online..IEnjoyed being able to pick it up.But,They didnt tell me that myOrder was going to be missing certain items.I called customer service about 8 or 10 times.They never picked up.So I really dont have any idea if they charge me for all the items or for just the items I received!

2019-06-28Its a good store has a Starbucks but from a mans perspective theres only clothes for generic people. Nothing will fit you unless you are a standard inventory turnover size. No sandals has a good store ask the girls I come here sometimes has necessities a very large parking lot. It just feels empty such a large store but low inventory.

2022-01-03Closed the coffee shop at 6 with no sign or reason. Seemed like the worker prioritized restocking the shelves in the store and decided just to close up shop while she did so to make things more convenient for herself. Which I get, but its the only coffee shop for miles...
