This is the dirtiest, most unorganized target in NYC proper. Never any carts available as the workers are hoarding them with items to re-rack. Its filthy. Its a hot mess. And You literally have to check your items to make sure folks arent taste testing them. Like this aint Costco! There are no samples here. I saw at least 3 sodas in the fridge half drunk. I got home and a nut mix i bought seal was open! I am so angry. Never again am I coming here
Target can be condescending to their customers.Found these no show socks at great price at $5.99 on display. At cashier the price was coming up $14.99 and $13.99. I pointed out the socks were on sale. Cashier had an agent do a price check. The agent returned saying her supervisor said the regular price stands. I decided to leave the socks however the cashier said for me to speak with the floor manager and next time take a picture. I went to speak with the floor manager while she was talking to the agent who went to check the price. The agent told her she didnt go check since her supervisor told her the price was regular.The manager than told me it was not true, and the price was regular and the her supervisor who was the head supervisor was higher than her and that what she says goes and her supervisor was always right. I excused myself and walked away from them and headed towards the socks display. I just wanted to see if I was wrong. As you can see by the picture I took afterwards. The price sale for the socks were at $5.99.I went back to show the floor manager and showed the picture with clearance sale on socks. She blurted something under her breath which I decided to ignore her comment. I told her that I wanted her see the proof and the truth. I told her one cannot argue with facts and truth. Heres my truth I continued everything was fine but Im taking my business somewhere elseShe replied that I enjoy the rest of my night and I replied likewise and wished a Happy New Year and left the store with the New Year resolution never to go back there again. After being forced to further my emotionally charged gauging of a platform that is deemed and termed international, I shun aside my intimate closely held beliefs. And knowing that the stage (from any strayed perspective) also has more meager props we continue to sift our organization knowing and to imply category and other pain staking audits are glanced over almost daily.
I had a pleasant experience. The wait lines were small so that I could purchase the product I picked easily and quickly.. Although there were not cashier available, the machine did just as well. I am pleased that I didnt need a credit card. I was impressed and would continue shopping at target for things that I need. Scanning the product was easy.
I was purchasing an air bed and was trying to see the exact location of the item. When open the Target app notice that it was only 1 available in store so instead decided to order online and pick up in store. While i shop i got an alert my order was ready to pick up. Great buy also.
Jonathan was amazing , he did his best to solve the problem and he did. 2 targets I visited before they didnt even bother to help. Jonathan was professional & knowledgeable, he took the time to help & answer my questions.Thank you Jonathan for your kindness.I recommend this store over other targets in the area ++++++
Target is a great store. There are lots of deals but still room to improve.I love that they hire a lot of minorities. I would love more if the employees would be more helpful to customers. All stores are like this though. You almost have to chase someone through the store to get help.A big help would be to make sure the price checker machines throughout the store are installed and working. This would reduce the need to chase down employees to check a price.The self checkout machines are always down. I think there are 12 machines in that area and i dont ever recall a time all of them were up and running at the same time.So. Just a few things and the store can be 100%.
The prices are cheaper than local supermarkets. There is also a better selection. I also like that most of the (if not every) time, staffers have quickly and easily helped me find items Ive been looking for each visits.The only thing that annoys me is the rarity of shopping baskets... But plenty of shopping carts. Often, I only want a few items. Using a shopping cart encourages me to buy more stuff, so I will usually just carry my items.Overall, Target stores are worth the trip.
Customer service rep was friendly and help with problem. Also she explained what my issue was very well. The store is well kept and clean. Every staff member I encountered was knowledgeable about where to find things in the store and they used their phones to find what aisles the items were in. One member showed me how to find the items myself on the Target app. It was a good visit!!!
Today I visited Target at Bronx Terminal looking to purchase some trading cards from the restock I was informed about. The process was slightly taxing but all the friendly employees made my experience very pleasant. I waa greeted by Alexis who took my down for the list and informed me that I would be contacted when ready. When it was my turn I believe the manager Arty controlled the line to ensure things ran smoothly. the young Lady that checked me out Kaysha was extremely polite and patient I must say one of the best experiences Ive had at any Target this was my first time at this location and I highly recommend this location.
Fast fast fast service!!!! I shop at the Bronx terminal market primarily where unfortunately you have to pay for parking which is not the fault of Target it is default of the New York Yankees I was very happy after using targets drive up service to receive a ticket that enabled me free parking!!!! Excellent overall service from Target
Wanted a basketball to replace an old version of what I held onto for too long. Was in and out in like less than 10 mins. Valid time to get to from manhattan with bx19 bus. I didnt realize, target is like Costco and the spot is like a mall with connections to like 6 levels of stores with connections to other ones
Some managers close the self checkout an hour before closing because “ it’s more convenient for them at the end of the night” makes zero sense and I’ve worked retail for 10 years. This place needs new management for sure! At 9:15 she started announcing they’re closing.
They have changed so much.i remember when they first opened my mom would take us on little adventures to target every weekend.i dont go as often, because i am an adult on a budgrt now 🤣 i do wish that their book section was like before. it is way to small nowself check out is a breeze saves me so much time
Target is great. During COVID they had long lines like everyone else but kept it moving pretty well. Although they have a pretty good selection of products they need to work a little harder on keeping shelves stocked with their more popular items. Otherwise food, clothes, shoes, furniture and much, much more under one roof.
Everyone was friendly, the store was clean. It was the first time I used the pickup service, ran smoothly. The only thing that was a bit of a turn off was that you had to get the items that were low stock. I guess that gives you the time to look for other items that you probably do not need. SMILE. Otherwise I will definitely order online and pick up from the store. It was so quick and all the staff that I encountered was very pleasant. Was looking for some frozen spinach and couldnt find any, but otherwise all good.
My item was supposed to have been ready yesterday as per the email when I got there today I still had to wait 25 minutes before they pulled it from stock. It was never put aside for me even though I received an email yesterday stating that it was. I would have been better off getting the item myself it would have saved me a lot less time. I will never do business with Target again.
I ordered online to be picked up at the store.When I went to pick it up the counter the brown skin Sis was rude and left a unpleasant vibe. I returned and asked her is their someone else to talk to, your rude!? She pointed to a Latina older lady who was pretty nice.She helped me fast and was empathetic to my situation.Also they packed two smaller gels compared to the bigger one sized I asked for in another variety (harder set)! I definitely wasnt happy about that.I dont want crunchy curls! Anyway thats my mixed experience.
I was told my items were ready for pick up! I get their and I was then informed it’s not at the store and target canceled it! The male manager I spoke to was rude and not helpful at all when I ask to speck to his manager he said she’s not here! Come to find out she was in the building he never informed her!!! The lovely manager Emily made my experience a little better and was very helpful unfortunately the supervisor under her was not
So today wedecided to go on a Pokémon card hunt right, we are searching looking thru everything and we come across Target telling us they got all these champions packs and what not so we take a trip there since we live in the area & when we get to Aisle E34 - E35 there is literally nothing POKÉMON or anything!! We approach a person who works there and she tells us if it’s not on the shelf and it says in stock someone probably STOLE it & there inventory is inaccurate LIKE ARE YOU SERIOUS? I love target and I love this target we come here alll the time but for someone to just basically say something like that so basically they aren’t doing their JOBS smh.
Pick up notification was prompt as well as the actual pickup @ Bronx Terminal! My Target Rep was pleasant and accommodating when I asked if I could get a double bag. I have to use a cane for now to get around, so I was so happy my wait time in line was only a minute or two! She was awesome!
First off Christina in the electronics department is extremely unprofessional and has a very nasty attitude and poor customer service skills. After speaking to a man representative he first refused to let me speak to a manger stating that he doesn’t care if I want to speak to a manager they are going to say the same thing they are saying . He then passed the phone to Christina and she pretended to be a manager then when I asked her again she then told me she is not the manager and said she refuses to let me speak to a manger because they are going to say the same thing she is saying which is false! I spoke to the target in the Mt Vernon location ( great customer service by the way) and they informed me that what I was trying to do was fine and they told me I can come right over and get the process going. Just out right disgusting customer service ! Super ghetto workers . They truly need a life lesson on how to help and communicate to others .
Target is a great company but the nigh of 7/9/2019 was my worst experience shopping there. I arrived about 10:30 PM with my husband and my 2 years old to pick up 2-3 items. Of course with ended up filling out an entire cart. Looking for an employee around the store to help impossible. About 11:10 pm time to check out only one cashier available. Self check out closes like 3 employee trying to count the money. An on that one line like 8 to 9 people on line some people was so frustrated then left the entire shopping card. Yes was so ridiculous waiting to pay about 30 min to be checked out. I wanted to go home like the other customer my husband keep me there but I left so unhappy plus I was so tired for my entire day working. Bronx terminal market target 👎🏽
I love this location. No real complaint besides that if you go in the morning you have no choice but to do self checkout. This sucks if you’re buying a lot of items. Not to mention dealing with 3 small children. I came to shop, not work. Customers should always be given the option.
During less crowded place, this Target does not seem like a jungle. Target needs more staff walking around to prevent people from tearing up products, eating the contents and leaving it behind.Others have packages torn to see or feel the product and then leave it behind. Target should charge them and never have them back to that particular store. In fact, if target makes it nicer and better to shop, I will never shop at BJs again.
Nothing related to the store , but has to do with a phone interview for a position at this location. The lady on the phone seemed a bit unprofessional & blunt , wasn’t too polite & instead of dismissing the conversation with a “have a good day” , she ends the phone call abruptly. I have never experienced such a negative vibe during a phone interview & this was just disappointing.
I came to buy copier paper. All I was seeing was 8.5 *11. I wanted 8.5*14. A very polite Target Associate directed me to 22B. Only 2 of the standard type were there. I asked another very polite associate if I could have gotten the Premium type in 8.5*14. She clearly communicated with someone who was out of sight, then apologized for not having Premium in that size that I wanted. I felt like Target cared. Thank you
Thank you Julian for your in thorough search of my purchases. I know I may have been in a rush, not set off any alarms, and had used self check out but thank you for chasing me outside, further delaying me! In addition to the staff being less than helpful, Julian took time to make sure I purchased all of my items, going over in detail. When I question why he didn’t stop 5 other people, his attitude changed and became negative and rude. I am sorry I was not a shoplifter as you made the spectacle of my bag searching out to be. If the staff put as much into keeping stock or being available, I would return. But now, I gladly will spend my money elsewhere.
There are 4 registers and a coupe of self checkouts open, and about 100 people in line.manager Alicia says they are doing the best they can -not everyone is trained on registers so you just have to wait ! Shes sorry, but she is not running a register so not too sorry mind you. Avoid this target if you have the luxury of going somewhere else do so!Two minutes after I called they opened two more registers
During the early phases of reopening the city, finding bikes to purchase was a bit difficult. I have twin 6 years old boys. Initially, I entertained the thought of ordering BMX bikes but didnt want the task of assembling them, so I visited my neighborhood Target.My first visit didnt go as planned. The were no bikes assembled but I did manage to find Fred, the bike assembler. Unfortunately, I found him after he punched out of work. He told me he would assemble 2 bikes and would hold them for me for the next day, but when I return to the store and go to customer service, the girl at checkout spoke to someone from the backroom and was informed that the bikes were put out on the floor for sale. No bikes.The next week I return with my mind made up that I might have to purchase the bikes unassembled. That meant walking out with 2 boxes of unassembled BMX Mongoose bikes.Upon reaching the bike section I was met by Jorge who was friendly and professional. He looked up the product inventory and explained the terms of return and refunds for purchased bikes not assembled at Target. I accepted and he came back with both bikes on a u boat and assisted me to the front checkout. When we reach the front, Jorge politely told me that upon checkout and with receipt in hand the bikes would be waiting at guest services. Tayshawn, who was directing customers to designated available check-out registers did an amazing job moving the line. The way he communicates with his personnel and customers is exceptional and personifies what CUSTOMER SERVICE is! An amazing experience at Target!
I love target, but everytime I come to this location, there is barely any one on the registers so the lines extremly long. I was on the line for over 20 minutes for an in-store pick up and still had to get back on the line to puchase more items. Employees are great but look just as stressed as we are. The self check out lines, guest service lines, and the main register lines are way to long. This location needs much more improvement. I dont recommend this location unless you are going early morning, or school hours.
I came in to Target to buy a new cordless phone with answering feature, I noticed a system i was interested in, I asked for help and Felix in electronics came to assist me. He not only helped me with the phone, he actually did a PRICE MATCH and saved me extra money even though the phone was on sale already * NICE!
Was satisfied with this place overall and its scores better than the location in Brooklyn. Better-stocked and less packed.The employee who checked me out was in a bad mood but after talking calmly with her she was friendly. Many of these employees get worn out from retail, so a smile can turn their attitude around.Returning some items was easy. I had repackaged one of the items but they didnt mind.
The pickup experience took way longer than expected. I arrived to the store around 7pm and didnt get my order until 8:45pm. If I knew it was going to take this long I wouldve paid for shipping. It came to the point where the line to get in the store was shorter than the line for pick up order.
It took 45 min for me to get 1 hairdryer that i ordered online then when the guy finally brought it to me, he had no shopping bags to fit it & had to go somewhere else for another 10min just to get some large plastic bags. Worst experience ever. 1st time i ever used that service & now it is the last time.
The employees here are hit or miss. When I say hit, I mean waiting for the few, but cheery salesmen in the electronics department to finish ringing up their line, then they explain features, discuss alternatives, and also try to sell you something pricier. Also, most employees in electronics will greet you even if they are busy. That department makes me feel special. I wish they would train the rest of the store. When I say miss, I mean overhearing racists comments and being told that they cant help you find something because that is not their department. I have overheard many personal conversations by employees that dont have time to help me or smile. Seriously, employees in most departments don’t know where an item is and won’t help you find it. There is a severe lack of carts.Also, when the store is busy on the weekend, you can barely walk. Finally, the train and bus stations are at least 3 blocks away. Oh well, come when you have more patience.
Used to love coming to this target to get my almond creamers but now Ill be coming here less. The last 6 times I went they didnt have any regular silk almond creamers. Took me 5 minutes to find a staff member to ask to look for it in the back and when they came out, nothing. Are you kidding me? Every single time??!! I gave it a two stars cause I picked up other things while there.
I absolutely love this Target location. The fashion is up to date and of good quality. Beautiful dresses, and accessories. I visited the intimate wear section, and I was in amazement at the wide selection they offer. Excellent prices. Helpful staff. Overall clean. An excellent shopping experience. Would recommend.
Ugh. Terribly annoying Target. Always out of carts and when youre lucky enough to snag one last, it locks up before you even get out of the store so you better be able to carry everything youre buying. Also often missing essential items. Avoid if you like a hassle free shopping experience.
The last three times I have been there(i just left and was my last time) loss prevention feels the need to follow me...This time I didnt take a shopping cart being that I had one thing to purchase (kindle fire kids) I paid for it and went to the toy aisle...i picked up 2 toys and walked to self checkout... Soon as I get there 2 of them got me surrounded... I almost threw them on the floor and walked out but my baby needs them for her collection...never going back
The DRIVE UP option is perfect for this Bronx Terminal Target. They validate parking for yo to 20 minutes (real customer service would be to validate parking for ALL the shoppers with a purchase). The app requires that you turn on Bluetooth, and the person was waiting with my items by the time you pull up to the Drive Up parking spaces. It was quick, the Target employee was really friendly and waiting to make sure All my items were in the bag before walking away. I would definitely use Drive up again.
The customer service here really sucks if your not happy with your job than seriously why work there check out personel always seems to be so unhappy and rude Im giving 3 stars only because of the one person who was really nice in the baby section he literally helped me with a smile with no problem nor attitude. As an ex target employee from another state this target seriously needs to teach their workers how to be more polite sadly and unfortunate for me I have to shop here because its the closest one to where I reside.
The target is not the greatest. The people that work there dont really pay attention to the customers and their needs but are instead goofing around most of the time with each other. I can count how many times somebody has tried to help me and I go to this target at least three to four times a week. The reason I still go to the Target however is because there isnt another one that is close enough for me to walk to
I got to this store at 8:34pm , and the security said they close the doors at 8:30 pm every night. Meanwhile the store hours clearly says 8 am - 9 pm.They turned myself and several other customers away, and they said this is their normal operation. They wouldnt let me talk to a manager.
This is one of the worst Targets. I hadnt been there in over a year until today, and I now remember why I swore that particular Target off. First, you have to search the parking garage to get a cart--thats their standard operating procedure--I asked the greeter (more like the overworked, overwhelmed, cranky man). The store is a mess and its hard to find anything. The layout isnt like any of the other Targets Ive seen. The only reason I gave it 2 stars instead of 1 was that my cashier was exceptionally nice. The line took 20 minutes, though. There doesnt seem to be any mangers or order. God speed if you dare to go there. Im not going back again. Do yourself a favor and cross the Willis Ave bridge to the 116th St. store.
I ordered online so I wouldnt have to wait through the line and so I could save a little time when I came in. It took 1 hour to pick up my t.v. after I had already gotten the confirmation that it was ready not because i was waiting in line NO because they had to go and get the T.V from the back and they didnt have a single person who was capable enough to get T.V in the whole store.so So i waited as they helped other people and brushed me off to the side when I finally got the T.V. they dropped it, I was pretty upset at this point. I told them Im not taking the T.V home knowing you guys just dropped the T.V. just so I can bring it back if its broken that would be a huge waste of my time (more time than I had already wasted), I asked for an exchange of T.Vs and they told me they didnt have anymore in stock of the size and brand and because its an online order I would have to wait 24 hours before I could exchange to T.V. So that meant I had to take the T.V which they knew fell on the floor back to my home and bring the T.V back to target when the computer decided to generate a receipt. I was not having it I told that there was no way i was going to do that I asked to switch the T.V.s to larger model and they still gave me a hard time, telling me that i couldnt do that either unless I had a receipt. Then the manager came over and I had to explain the situation to him. He told me the same thing they did but this time he took the t.v and put the amount I had paid on to a gift card and just used that to pay for the other T.V. I left with a completely different T.V. from the one I ordered and it took me over 2 hours to pick up something as simple as that. This service is supposed to help me with my shopping so I dont have to go around the store looking for things and waste time, however it did the exact opposite if I had just come in and gotten it myself I could have been out of there in 20 min. max. I am very upset with how I was treated.
Worse place ever!!!! Do not shop here. Manager was rude to me and my wife. Giving us the only attitude when I tried to explain how her employees treated me. Tried to get a refund on an item I bought 1 day later and they said I cant get an exchange or refund. Saw a couple get tackled down over a can of soda like really a 1$ can of soda was worth causing someones life that got brutally beat for a can of soda.
Big store, but horrible customer service. Avoid going to this target because the customer service sucks, they force you to self checkout because they refuse to put workers on the registers. This Target is under staffed and disorganized. Workers wear their uniforms pants sagging under the waist line to show their underwear, and workers are often heard speaking to each other saying the N word.Food items in the floor which is disgusting because people walk on the floor from outside carrying all kinds of nasty contaminants.
First off let me start by saying Ive been coming to this location for years. I have two boys so I come here a lot for their clotyes, shoes, school items, snacks, dinner, toys, you name it. Im a frequent guest here. The pizza hut here sometimes runs out of pizza and the Starbucks there also runs out of important stuff needed to make popular drinks. The staff there are sometimes rude and not easy to approach. Not helpful at all. Ive had some employee call me bad names and give me bad looks and all. Every time I ask a question on General things they should already know, I always get the same response I dontknow. Ive had good outcomes and bad here at this target but overall I dont recommend coming here for outstanding customer service.
Customer service experience was horrible. Can’t ask the employees at this location where anything is because it’s as if they are bothered. It’s sad to know that people still bring personal issues to work and demonstrate them. Wouldn’t go back no one took time to help answer my questions or refer me to target online until I did my own online research in store. Thankfully I did not lose my patience and I called customer service which actually helped answer my question about gift card balance!!! When all along the store associate could have scanned my gift card! Speechless to say the least or lazy is it? 😞
Overall good values; friendly and helpful employees especially on the floor. It’s clean and well stocked. I only buy what I can carry and everything else I ship if possible. So I use self checkout which is fast. If you need a cashier you wait. I also use the CVS in Target which is the only CVS I will use for most prescriptions. The Pharmacist Dr Sayed is the best. The most friendly caring pharmacist I have ever met. By my second visit he was calling me by name and I have a name most people can’t pronounce. Shout out to Duval ( I probably slayed the spelling on both names - sorry guys) who when I had just gotten out of the hospital walked through cold and rain to drop off medications I needed. Way above and beyond!
Yesterday, December 12, 2016 around 2:30 PM to 4 PM, I was shopping with my father who is a senior of 74 years. When we got on line to pay for the items, a Hispanic lady stood behind us. The cashier then told us that she was closing and that we had to go to another line. I and my father moved to another line without complain while the lady who was behind us remained murmuring that she was not going to go to another line. My father kept looking at the situation from our new location and noticed that the cashier was allowing the lady to put her items on the conveyor belt after we had left because the cashier told us she was closing. Because of this, my father went to investigate because he found it unfair and discriminatory. The cashier then let him come back and he called me over. I proceeded to roll the cart with our items (gifts for his grand kids) back to the location we were at while the Hispanic lady behind us remained and did not move. She was visibly upset and rude, disturbing the peace and inciting. This was noted even more as my father unloaded the cart. This lady began harassing my father. I told her to calm down or I would call the police for harassment and disturbing the peace. The lady snickered and continued her verbal attack. We exchanged some words and I told my father to ignore her that she was obviously upset and acting irrational. Then, the cashier started yelling at me and insinuating that I was a racist and had to leave the store. I was shocked. How can this employee of Target pass judgment on me when her job is to attend to the cash register and purchases? I immediately cried out for a manager saying an employee is disrespecting me. A team worker from Target came along. I assumed he was a manager. I told him what happened and he did not remedy the situation fairly. He sided with the cashier, did not listen to my side and asked security to remove me and my father who did nothing wrong. He never told the Hispanic lady who was harassing us to leave. This team worker failed to keep neutrality and passed judgment on me as well stating that I was a trouble maker simply for trying to tell him what happened and that I wanted to file a report against the cashier who yelled at me. Then the security team lady came and told me I could not videotape the situation and had to leave. She was very rude and acted unprofessionally. In fact, all were rude and unprofessional. I called Target Corporation and filed a complain. Clearly, my father and I were discriminated against and harassed by Targets staff along with the angry Hispanic lady. Moreover, clearly, the cashier was favoring the Hispanic lady because both appeared to be of Mexican origin. This is unprofessional and discriminatory. Please avoid this store. I may have to follow up legally if these team workers are not fired. Bronx 12 was notified and hopefully they will do a story on this incident. It is unfortunate that no one can shop in peace in a professional place. If you are a lawyer and read this, please contact me.
Was there last friday and today friday again and still didnt have the product i was looking for.This target also needs to update the photo printing kiosk. There was only one machine, no place to sit and its almost at the mere entrance where everybody can see your stuff. At least my cashier was nice and friendly. I dont know her name.
I wish i was a mystery shopper. The employees in there are beyond lazy. I went to the book department yesterday 12.9.15 one employee walked around till he got another person to help me after telling me to look for the book myself. Yes. Which i did tey had them in the back and he was to laxy to get it. The female employee said she would get the book 15 min later she never showed up or even went to get it. 2 more employees helped me get the book which i wanted. I love target. But their customer relations are terrible. Some of them shouldnt be working there. I am going to write about my experience there to the big boss. I always shop there. Yesterday made my entire mood for target go elsewhere may to walmart
In Short, this location is Chaotic. Decent products, but if you dont like long lines and slow cashiers Id stear away from this location. The one on 116th and York avenue is much more efficient at keeping a cleaner store and keeping their lines down to a minimum. This Exterior street location literally has 32 registers and only operate 4-6 at a time, despite how many people are on the line.
I dont usually write reviews for chains or big box stores. However, my experience with this particular store compelled me to quickly share my thoughts.1.) Im pretty sure who ever designed the layout of the store did so with malice and intent. It does not conform to the typical Target layout that Ive seen in 3-4 other stores. The layout of this store is beyond awful. Its cluttered and difficult to find specific departments, and it has a terrible flow. Who puts the cold stuff in one of the furthest corners from the registers?2.) Good lucking finding an aisle scanner to check the price of your items! Target aisle scanners are somewhat a necessity in order to budget your shop, because a lot of items are not shelved properly or its difficult to determine which item belongs to which tag. To say the least, their aisle scanners are scarce, and there was a literal cart traffic jam at one of them where 4 people were trying to scan stuff.3.) This store has 0 managers. How do they get stuff done with no management? I jest, but Ive never seen a sloppier frontline. Their registers were very poorly managed. As someone with experience in this area, this really frustrates me. During rush periods at the East Harlem Target, there is often a supervisor managing the checkout lines and calling employees from the floor up to the front to check people out to alleviate the long lines. NOPE, not here.4.) In regards to the above, the checkout lines were horrendous. I waited roughly 20 minutes in line--more than twice as long as Ive ever waited in other Target lines.While this Target may be busier--and it is summer--I was shocked to see these lines.If you can make it to the East Harlem Target (which is a smaller plaza) on 117th st, go there. I will only return to this Bronx store because it is closer to my new apartment.
I went into purchase baby items. I was fully aware prior to coming in that if I spent $100 or more I would get a $25 gift card. However when I got to the cash register there was an issue and it was not coming that I would get a $25 gift card. The cashier was very nice about trying to figure it whay the problem was. So she called over Felicia her superior. However Felicia came over and said well its not gonna work I cannot give you a gift card. I asked the person that works in baby abe the sign said and said 25% off not $25 for $100 or more. I assume she was trying to insult my intelligence because theres no way and then I went and took a screenshot of what it said. I was at the self check out on 3/4/18, at 7:15 p.m.when I overheard three male hispanic security guards repeatedly using the n----r word. I immediately reported this to the store Manger, Stephanie. As I exit the store I stopped to explain to the three security officers how I resent the use of that word and how it makes me feel. Eduardo whos one of the security officers stated in summary I dont care three flying fs how you feel. I wasnt talking to you; you should mine your business and Im not apologizing. I went back and reported this incident to Stephanie who stated she had spoken to them and she reported the matter to a higher authority. At this point one of the officers that was involved came over and apologized. Stephanie said see you got one apology. This is very troublesome that this word is spoken so common and freely in a public place of business. Where is the customer service!
I’m very upset. I’m a very long time customer of Target. My husband recently purchased a half and half (as we always do). We were drinking coffee this morning and something wasn’t right. I know it wasn’t the date because it expired in May. I took it out the fridge and opened it up, when I did, the smell was HORRIBLE! I AM VERY UPSET THAT MY HUSBAND AND I CONSUMBED THIS BAD HALF AND HALF! Now I’m sick to my stomach! I called and spoke with someone from that department and they told me to just bring it back with the receipt! That doesn’t solve anything! I hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else!!!!Edit: Last week, my husband purchased a box of nutella to go and it was old! Obviously, the people that work for this particular target are NOT doing their jobs. Someone is going to get really sick! Its terrible!
Lamont decided to act like an idiot despite being paid to represent Target. He told me that despite the sign posting the price, I was going to have to pay whatever rang up, Instead of simply adjusting the price. He told me to leave the items behind because he was NOT going to change the price. It derailed everyone else who was standing in self checkout. Wound up taking and addiontional 22 minutes and a manager to resolve the issue. He shouldnt work anywhere where face to face contact is required. He doesnt do well in the human interaction area.
If you want a great target to go shopping, dont go to this store. The sale reps are flying very,very,far away on a 747 going no wear , they act like you are doing them the favor for shopping at this store, very,very, bad customer service!!!!!/Go to marble hill store 225th street for good services and excellent service from the reps.Hope this helps,if not you were warned.
I only come to this target if I really need too because people here are so ghetto and rude that everytime I visit Im sure to see a fight . The employees there are even worse I ask one of the dressing room attendants if I can breastfeed my daughter in one of the dressing rooms being that they were empty and he said thats so gross go do that in the bathroom so I asked her would you eat in the bathroom ? She said no because its not sanitary . What an air head at the end of it all she still refused to let me breastfeed in the dressing room so I told the manager which then disappeared . I ended up calling the corporate office which just recorded the complaint and nothing there after ...
I visited Target Gatway Mall. The security guard was very disrespectful angry and verbally abusive. I asked what line was for pick ups. No signs were posted. He pointed me to the returns line not the PickUp line causing an additional 15minute wait in line.Then he laughed afterwards humiliating me in front of my 8 year old daughter. We are through with this guy and Target . Security! I dont think so.How about having a huge PICK UPS sign right next to the huge RETURNS and EXCHANGE sign? You think?Big fat zero rating or security company. No thank you.
Rude employees. went to pay at self checkout because the green lights were clearly om which means open , while insterting cash an employee asked what were doing there if she was just about to shut off the machine. she only didnt turn them off since she was too busy talking to a friend. then she wouldnt stop repeating to her friend yo i dont even get a chance to turn off the machine . well clearly if she wasnt chit chatting she could do her job.

This is the worse target that i ever been to. People dont go to this target they have the worst customer service here starting with the general manager. I went there to shop once and they gave me the worst customer service with attitude. I will suggest you to go to the one on marble hill this one is better.
Pick up lines is really bad but Im talking about really bad need to be organized because line for pick up are behind use for regular return etc then come to tell you Im sorry guys I need to go get a new scanner I dont have batteries if you know how frequently you use this units get a charger station and the reason I order this online is because I dont have to do a long line to pay but this is worth
This is by far the worst starbucks location to have opened, not one employee can make an acceptable frap, they NEVER carry bananas or protein powder yet continue to offer it on their menu, so customizing a frap is limited to changing the milk in it from whole to skim since they also rarely carry coconut milk, i am beyond dissatisfied with the service and will be expressing my dissatisfied visits through various social media sites as well as verbally until either the location carries these missing items and the employees make better drinks or they remove it from their menus

2022-03-26There isn’t any carts available at front of the store. You have to walk around the front to see if anyone will leave their carts. They have about 30-40 carts at the parking lot chained up. There wasn’t even a lot of people at the store with carts. What’s the point of even doing this. This is the only Target that i know of that chains up their carts. This is not right.

2022-07-01Entered the store on Friday 1st July as we entered the door an employee greeted us , and went looking for what I wanted , my son checked out the electronics department . I will be returning to get something that I want soon . Self check out was quick . Thank you targets

2021-01-25This target is very busy. It’s better if you go early in the morning. Because after 12pm it’s packed. They have long lines but they do move pretty fast. They usually have everything stocked that’s in the sales paper. They have all cleaning supplies and no limit on them as of 01/23/21.Bathroom. The rest rooms are pretty gross. I went to raymour and Flanigan to use clean restroomsStaff- non helpful, they act like they don’t know where anything is atPrice check- it’s better to have the target app to price check because everything is out of order and not placed ext to the right thing.

2022-06-27Target bluray movie selections suck. They advertise new releases on their website available for pick up but all I see is old or dvds. Now they might restock later in the day but COME ON when you open doors items should be ready.

2022-04-07⚠️‼️BEWARE OF ENTERING AT THIS TARGET STORE ‼️⚠️ (I wish I can rate ZERO STARS!!)Me and my friend went to target to pay only for 4 items that we had by the self check out area and all of a sudden there was a problem with the machine after we scanned the items and added our money into the machine so I called assistants to see what was the problem. The assistants checked to see what was wrong and eventually the security guard came over wanting us to go to the next self check out but me and my friend didn’t want to move because our money was already in the machine so my friend asked the security guard of what they gonna do since our money was in the machine and the security guard said “since we don’t have any proof that you guys *quote and quote* put the money in the machine then we can’t do anything about it.” Soooo basically TARGET LOVES TO STEAL PEOPLES MONEY‼️ Sadly we didn’t get our money back but for future reference for anyone who comes to this target make sure you record on your phones when your pay your items especially at the self checkouts no matter if you use card or cash because basically their cameras “DONT WORK” and if anything happens to your money, they’ll keep your money and you will never get it back. These people ARE THIEVES‼️
