This target is convenient. The store is nice and spacious. Marisol took excellent care of me. Great customer service at this store.Also there was a time that Anthony went above and beyond for me. I Traveled all the way from the west side of the Bronx to get Good and Gather purified water. When I got to the store there wasn’t even 1 gallon of water on the shelf. I happened to bump into Anthony stocking on the other side and asked if he could check to see if there was any water left. He than checked and tell me there was water and asked me for the amount of gallons I wanted. They offer quality customer service at this target. Anthony and Marisol are absolute super stars!
This particular Target is huge, impressive and with great staff. The problem is the poor and persistent stocking practices here, especially of grocery items, but of other items as well. We invariably find multiple items on our grocery list to be out of stock regardless of time of day or day of week (so its not just a freak holiday rush thing.) Available instead may be far more expensive alternatives, Examples of frequent out of stock items are: store brand organic milk (instead, much higher priced Horizon milk is there), store brand lactose free milk (often the one with the desired fat content is missing even if some kind is available), Roma tomatoes ($1,49 / lb, instead theres only $2.99 beefsteak or something even more expensive), veggie protein crumbles, Dannon plain yogurt ($2.79 / 32oz, instead theres umpteen types of greek yogurt or Yoplait - FAR more expensive), other such basic grocery staples, Woolite large containers (only small ones available with much higher unit costs ), double walled water flasks (some smaller Target stores nearby had it, but not this giant store!)Sometimes these stock outs help Target because we are forced to buy the more expensive alternative. But this also means that we often simply avoid visits here and do most of our shopping at other places (when we first saw this nice, huge Target on moving into this area we thought well do most of our shopping here. So youre probably having a lot of lost sales, going by our example). Part of the stock outs here may be due to ghost inventory - computer systems showing items in stock even if they are not physically on the shelves, and no one properly physically verifying inventory. Whatever the problem, whoever if responsible for managing inventory and running the store need to step up their act. This store is obviously popular because of its size, location and layout, and can do so much better.
Only 5 cashiers with at least 10 customers in each line and well over 10 customers waiting for self pay lines. There are many employees walking store which they should take at least 10 of them to work as cashiers or even the 3-5 employees standing by the cash registers talking away. This was from previous post, now 6/3/22 they only have 2 cashiers also backed up
Drive up makes it a lot easier and simpler for me! In general, all the employees who give me my orders are nice. There’s one employee, Nelly, who has been the nicest to me. She’s nice to me every time and has a very good attitude. She is an example of how wonderful customer service is supposed to be!
I ordered online but pickup time was 2 hrs later and i didnt want to wait. An associate in customer service, informed me i could purchase the item instore and return the online item. Which I tried to do in the store. My phone wasnt allowing me to return and I asked a mgr to help which he did cheerfully. I feel customer service at this store was exemplary. This was my first time shopping in this particular Target, but it wont be my last!!
2 times in went to this store in the last week. Both times a nyc police officer was in full uniform doing security. Both times he was not wearing a mask. You can disagree about wearing a mask but for the time its mandatory for All people to wear a mask. If police are not wearing a mask how can you enforce other people to wear it
I ordered online 5 mugs to be picked up and received the notice that it was ready for pick up. After paying for tolls to get these special items, I got there only to find out that only 1 mug was put aside for me. I found 2 more on the floor, but I was now short 2. The people at the pickup counter were tried to be as helpful as they could, but there was no way they could remedy a mistake from the person who was supposed to have filled the order.
I like shopping in this Target mainly because of its location and because its Target. Who doesnt like shopping at Target? However, this location on Hutchinson Parkway has a stocking issue. There is always something I cant get because they havent stocked the product. My sister has sent numerous complaints regarding this issue. We prefer to shop at the College Point Blvd location (even if we have to pay the tolls at Whitestone Bridge) because they are always fully stocked and have more items available.
My order was not completed. I ordered two storage bins and a top was missing from one of the items. The cashier recommended I look for the top myself. I did not approve of that option. The point of store pick up was to have a speedy pick up. She asked one of her co workers to look for the top she didnt look for it right away. It took 20 minutes to locate the top.
A huge, CROWDED store like Target and yet you have careless associates that walked by and even assisted people with their faces fully exposed. What’s the purpose of having the signs on the door that says “masks are enforced” if your staff won’t even enforce it, themselves? Is it just for decoration? We’re SPIKING all over the country again, and yet Target staff won’t even help keep safe the customers who do follow the rules. Ridiculous and dangerous. Avoid at all costs.
Service is usually great, helpful workers. Had an experience looking for puffs with Vick’s. Asked an associate who told me there’s 100 in stock tell me he couldn’t check the back. He told me to check an end cap where there was none . Anyway, this target is usually great . They always help. I’ll assume this was just an isolated incident.
I decided to do the drive up pick up in order to avoid contact and have fast service. I arrived At the target and after waiting 20 minutes I walked inside where there were place was basically empty .I went up to a worker who told me to make a line to pick up my drive thru order and a lady on the line said she too was waiting for a drive thru order and had to come in . What is the point of a service of contactless that state no I’d or contact needed ... only to need to walk into the store and make a line after waiting two hours for my order to be ready for pick up . then he ask for an ID and made me wait on line for pick up . An ID that the app literally states you won’t need due to contactless . I ask why if I have the bar code and it states no ID needed on the website . Waste of time , terrible service , remove the drive Thru option since it’s not actually a service provided .
I was followed around the store and stopped three times and one of the employees even went as far as to call me “one of those black people that steal”, baby I had just got paid that day, the last thing I need to do is steal, especially from a broke down store like that. Basically I’m saying is, DONT GO THERE OR GIVE THEM YOUR MONEY.
I intended to buy 3 Sterilite storage tubs but there was only one lid. There are several signs in the aisle stating, Dont for get the lids. If you dont see them just ask. I asked an associate who told me, I dont work in this section and walked away from me. Thinking that she might send another associate over to help me, I waited.When no one responded I went to the cashier and explained to her what had just happened. She called over another associate (a supervisor I presume) and when I explained to her what had happened she pointed me towards a very long line at the customer service desk and said, Go stand in line and tell them.I left the store and called the number on the receipt from the parking lot. The first associate that answered left me on hold for 6 minutes. I called back and this time spoke with a manager named Matima. She told me that I should come back again in a few days and that maybe they would have more lids by then. Really? Is this how the employees at Target are trained to treat customers?
I do enjoy the spacious layout. I do appreciate the free parking. Not ideal for holiday shopping. They made too many mistakes and their customer service could not adequately keep up. Pick up items were often not found by team members. Best answer I got to this was that they really did not have space for all the pick ups so they would only hold on to items for a brief time. I purchased online and returned unopened items to this location and would not get the full refund amount. Phone agents would approve full refund amount but refunds never posted. Chat agents end chats prematurely. Their partnership with Shipt is finicky and Target will not assist with any order fulfilled by Shipt. Online shopping invoices are too complicated to follow.
Great place to shop at. Some of the staffers are will to go out of their way to assist you, while others dont. I think it depends on their mood. You find almost anything from this store. The online price sometimes doesnt match with instore price... also I found an item online that says its available instore but they couldnt find that item for me. All in all, it was a good store so Ill give this store a three star because they absolutely still have a lot to improve on when it comes to customer service and website updating.
This place is awful. Staff is unorganized. I was called for An interview, arrived on time and was the only person dressed properly for interview. They told me they could not find my info for interview. So I went home. Got a call to come back because someone doesn’t know what they’re doing there. Go back and they tell me the same thing again. This place is horrible. There seems to be no accountability from management.
You can never go wrong at Target. This location is spacious, clean and the employees are friendly. Parking is also very convenient. The only thing I wish they would improve is the recycling center. Though its very convenient, the bins are always full or broken, and its difficult to get staff to come out to help with them.
It’s sad how badly this store has deteriorated. This store barely has anything in stock! Barren and empty shelves all throughout the store. Combined with the fact that workers are no where to be found. YouOnline pick up is now a joke, half the order is constantly canceled because of low stock or lazy team members.5 times I’ve had multiple items canceled in orders only for me to walk instore and find them myself!!!This Target is a joke at this point and sadly I have to go all the way to to 225th because they actually run a well organized store.
When this Target opened up around 2012-2013, I was ecstatic. It was well-lit, clean, customers and staff alike were polite. I couldn’t believe my Target dreams came true. However, over the years the quality of the store has downgraded tremendously. They don’t restock many products. The app will say they have something in stock but it’s untrue. Last year, I had an employee admit to me that sometimes they don’t do scanning for restocking and inventory when they’re supposed to but they do it when they “get around to it”. The store is always dirty now and the caliber of customers...lets just say it’s like being in Walmart at 2am in the middle of America. I’m disappointed and most of time, I’d rather take the trip to Mount Vernon to get what I need/want.
This Target has been falling apart lately. The shelves look messy, the staff are not professional by being on their phone and having personal conversations while working, and the shelves are not stocked up. One of the perks of Target is the pick up your order in store. It is convenient but not at this Target. When I place an order online, which is alot of times, to pick up in store, most of the time there are one or more items not available meanwhile when you order online it says it is in stock in the store and available for order pickup. I would understand if it happened once in a blue but thats not the case. It is very disappointing. I really love shopping at Target and it is very sad to see this Target going downhill. Perhaps the management changed but something has to get done. I have seen the frustration of customers at this Target.
Last week I went to Target and it was the first time they started the social distancing line. I was impressed that they were allowing First responders and Healthcare workers to skip the line. As I went today to show them my hospital badge, they addressed that they were no longer allowing first responders and healthcare workers to skip the line. I was very disappointed because not only are we working around the clock but by doing a quick shopping will give us a piece of mind.Not understanding how Target cannot accommodate our First Responders and healthcare workers to skip the line?!
This is a great store. I mean.. its Target and its fabulous!Ive been alerted thru the Citizen app that there has been a string of violence against patrons of the store located at the Hutchinson Parkway Mall. I shop here during work hours because it is convenience but I choose to shop at other Targets when accompanied by family members. If this situation is worked out I will resume my regular shopping routine at this store.
Just sent Target the following feedback:The Bronx Throggs Neck store, albeit the closest to my home, is no longer MY STORE!!! This now makes more than once that I am submitting feedback regarding the inadequacies of this location. And I’m furious. I want something to change. Because it’s not fair that the Target closest to me is the worst one I’ve ever entered. It just isn’t. I previously commented on the lack of inventory. That’s still the case. But here’s something new. Last night I placed my first pick-up order for items already in the store. I was excited about trying this new service. Like having a personal shopper without the expense. All the items I was looking for weren’t at the College Point location. I chose this location for the pick up because I just sensed the service wouldn’t be the same at the Bronx Throggs Neck Target. Nothing else is the same at that Target. I didn’t want to pick up the bulk of my order there. So I went to College Point, a location I have previously remarked is far superior to my local Target. I work on that side of the Whitestone Bridge so it wouldn’t be too much trouble. My pick up experience was glorious. The customer service area is maintained in an orderly fashion. Orders for pick up are kept out of sight in the back. While one customer was picking up their order, another employee made her way down the line to make sure the next customer was being taken care of simultaneously. My order was large and since it was my first time doing this, I chose to take a beat and double check that I had received my entire order. I did. What a fantastic first experience!!! Then I made my way home. I had only 5 items to pick up at Throggs Neck. Five compared to like the 20 other items I picked up at College Point. Instead of the coconut oil I ordered I got a can of coconut milk. A dented can at that. Then I had to stand there, all in all approximately 15 minutes, while someone went looking for the correct item. Instead of just getting that one item, the person chose to fulfill other orders simultaneously. I was fully prepared to abandon the order altogether. I could have very well just done the shopping myself in half the time and picked up the correct items. What is supposed to be a convenient and helpful service is a painful chore at Throggs Neck. It didn’t help that the customer service area looks like it was hit by a tornado. The bulk of pick up orders are in plain sight and are so overwhelmingly disorganized, it made waiting all the more difficult. I had nowhere to stand. If I moved to one side, I was in the way of the pick up area. If I moved to the other side, I was in the way of the line for returns. I felt like a trapped rat. Please do something. Change the manager. Increase the inventory. You can shut it down and revamp the whole thing for all I care. Please make my local Target a place I choose to run to. Not run away from! The Bronx deserves no less than any other NYC borough!
I was standing on line to pay for my items, there were 2 customers ahead of me but it looked like the cashier was having issues. After waiting for 15 mins we noticed that the self check line opened up and. Ivory was waiting anymore so my boyfriend and I moved to that register. This guy named Jean Roy asked my boyfriend to leave the register to bring another customer who just got to the regular line on the other side who just got to the line. I explained that we had been standing at the other register for 15 mins and he loudly asked my boyfriend again to move from the register. This guy was so rude and condescending. I was so ready to write a great review because the experience we had with a sales person was great but then this guy just ruined it for us. He should be trained to have manners and act accordingly if he’s gonna be directing customers in the front. Did not appreciate his behavior. He should be more aware of customers wait.
I wanna give it 5 stars because I ordered 2 bikes online from target ,and I didnt know how to assemble them so I called Target at 815 Hutchinson Pkwy and a very friendly lady told to come in and they would assemble even though they do t usually do it . I got there at 9.15 am and a very friendly man heaviset with a little pony tale told me I will assemble them for u no problem it took him 30 min to assemble both bikes , I forgot hes name but he was very friendly and helpful . I was gonna give him a nice tip but he said he cant take it he happy he could help me. Thank u
Great staff and always have what I need when I go. Have yet to come here and not find what I needed. Staff is sometimes hard to find and when you do it’s always a shoot or a miss on how helpful they are willing to be, but I love the target brand too much not to not come here because of the staff.
I went to target customer service to see about a price adjustment. i was not sure the experience was going to go well. Then along comes Cecil, he handled me with respect and would not let me leave without resolving my request. Thank you so much Cecil! I will always come back to this Target to buy whatever I need ! Funny thing is that I wound up spending the money Cecil returned to me plus an extra 30 dollars. Please recognize Cecil for his wonderful customer service!
Love target! Review of current social distancing measures: complete chaos and zero organization of the tremendous amount of people that are in the store. First time here since the quarantine, and very disappointed to see how the store handles the situation compared to others.
Thank you to Dennis at this location... and that’s Dennis with 2 N’s.... I was quite frustrated and he relieved my frustration in such a calm professional manner that I AMUST commend him... not to mention all the other customers there that were coming at him with their woes, all at once. He never lost his cool, never displayed an ounce of frustration, just helped assist everyone as best he could. Target, you have a great asset in Dennis, I hope you know this and I hope you reward him for his top tier customer service.... thank you Dennis.... with 2 N’s....
Went to buy onesies for my son and the baby section was atrocious! Barely any items on the shelf, hardly any baby food and I never found the onesies. Target needs to do something about these stores. I know the mess is caused by customers riffling through the items but come on, I went in for something as simple as onesies and couldnt find any!! They need to stock the items and hire more staff to keep the store looking presentable.
I love that the shopping center has free parking as well as a covered garage. The store is a good side and has a good selection on many times. The only thing they could do better on is improving their checkout line management during peak hours such as evenings and weekends - theres always long lines and lacking staff. But to end on a positive note the store is clean and easy to navigate.
Relatively new location the store is kept clean and the shelves are usually fully stocked. I like the fact that you can access the store via the underground parking which helps during bad weather. The above ground entrance is close to other stores and restaurants if you need to grab a quick bite to eat.
They have restocked well. I came last week and was told that if I’m a healthcare worker I show my badge and I don’t have to wait on the line, of course that day I forgot my badge, but the line wasn’t too bad that day. Today I came with my badge (and uniform because I just came from work) and was told I had to wait on the line. So I asked why does it keep changing? I was told “it depends who is at the door.” Ummmmm no. It shouldn’t work like that. Either let healthcare workers in first or don’t, and stick to it.
My favorite place to go grocery shopping. Doesnt have the best produce and fresh meat selection though but the store is really well organized and Im in and out in under an hour which I cant say about other supermarkets. Also has the lowest prices on just about everything. Price conscious people who dont mind stopping at another supermarket for fresh produce and meat, go here.
This store is poorly managed, stocked, and poor customer service. Needed help locating item on first day of sale and shows on line 6 available. 2 floor staff in item area refused to search on hand held scanner for item and wouldnt help locate or search storage area. Went to customer service area for assistance and they stated the staff should of looked up item on their hand held scanners. They young lady then looked up item and it showed 3 in stock but I replied I checked 3 aisles around location it should be and none on floor(large 4 foot box by 1 ft. Square cant be missed). So I requested if she can call someone in storage room to check and she takes easy way out and states to her manager next to her If item not on floor , none left right? The manager replied yes none left but computer shows 3.5 employees and one manager later no one would check storage room. This happens all the time with customer service and managers no help from anyone. Shelves are empty and items I buy often sometimed takes 2 weeks to restock. Minium cashiers long lines, poor management in this store and changed managers often. Staff always complaining about poor management in store , sale days on first day (Sunday) items not on floor that are in sale flier and this is early Sunday morning and evening. When trying to order out of stock items at customer service it gets sent to wrong store and wont help trying to reship it to this store. When tell them of price difference cashiers refuse to help and when call for manager they state customer is incorrect until you get sign or sticker from shelf and when show them after losing spot on line , manager never appologizes or help rering it up. POOR MANAGEMENT AND CUSTOMER SERVICE , AVOID THIS HUTCHINSON PKWY STORE IN THE BRONX.Target should send corporate to test help from store employees, management or customer service.
No carts, every time you ask for an item or for an associate to check stock the answer is only what you see on the shelves and the target app is always wrong with the availability of items. Bronx store on Hutchinson Parkway is always dirty and shelve are never stocked compared to other Targets
New and neatly kept store. The elevator buttons are confusing (the body of the store is downstairs, but the main parking lot is upstairs. The button labels are reversed.) This Target has basic foods and a good frozen food section. Lots of clearance womens clothing. We were able to find everything we needed without help.
The only reason I go to this Target location is for convenience. At first it was a nice place to shop and I enjoyed going there often but that is no longer the case.I appreciated the ability to purchase online for in-store pickup; however, the store has combined the general customer service line with in-store pickup making it less convenient because the line tends to be long. The people behind that counter seem unhappy about their jobs.The overall customer service at that location has seriously declined to the point I would rather drive out of my way to a different Target or just shop elsewhere altogether. I have a lot of respect for people who work while standing for hours, especially cashiers. However, the last several times Ive shopped at that location Ive experienced rude and unhelpful cashiers. I was admonished by a cashier for failing to use a divider to separate my handful of items from the customer before me. Absurd!The more I think about my recent experiences there the less I want to return to that Target store.
I am front liner/essential worker so I heard that we didn’t have to stand in line if you are one so I asked a target worker if it was true she tells me it’s only from 8am to 9am which I think is crazy cause guess where I am at that time of day ? that’s right at work smh so after coming from work I still have to get on the line or on my one day off I have to get up early to still get on the line (Throggs Neck location).......Target needs to do better than that.
My go-to utilitarian store in the area. The have a pretty wide selection and the store is staffed adequately and it is well-kept. I can usually find what Im looking for here and they have a pretty decent grocery section as well, which is a welcome sight because it occasionally helps me avoid a separate trip to a supermarket.
Very good place to pick up everything from soup to nuts. Very well stocked and courteous employees. Been shopping there for years. Like it so much I got a job there. Excellent place to work! Come by and shop the Throggs Neck Target in The Bronx we are there to serve you and your family.
The Target at Throgs Neck is 10 minutes from my home so I visit weekly for groceries, pet food and other items. I find their prices better. The Staff is trained and helpful and you can usually get help if needed. On 12/19/19 I had a Diabetic episode at the store. It caused me to become disoriented and faint due to extremely low blood sugar. Another customer noticed and called for help and within minutes I had four employees surrounding me. Once I was able to say Diabetic they sat me down,gave me OJ and called EMTs. I had to leave my Car in their Lot for the weekend and worried daily. I called customer service and had them check on my car until I was able to retrieve it. I dont know anyones names but hope they read this . I Thank You from my heart for all your compassion.
Avoid contact with associates in this store. From management to floor associates, everyone has their own version of Target policies and services - depending on their mood. The customer services associates are not aware of all Targets policies - the burden of proof is on you !Buy online - or at least check prices and policies published online in store.Know before you go to this store.
Ok, first off, THIS STORE IS HUGE, they always have everything Im looking for and sometimes surprise me with thing I didnt even know I wanted. The staff are very friendly, dont feel afraid to ask for help. They helped me find exactly what I was looking for. Excellent high quality store.
The customer service at the “STARBUCKS “ inside the Target store at 815 E Hutchinson Pkwy Bronx 10465 is horrible!!! We had an disappointing experience with a specific barista for no reason whatsoever. This behavior was uncalled for and portrays a negative reputation for STARBUCKS!!! The treatment towards us as regular customers of this specific store was unpleasant, rude and extremely unprofessional. This behavior is unnecessary , unacceptable and the employees need to be retrained so they can treat customers with respect and courtesy!!!!
Why is it that I can buy an item valued over $70 very easily. Then when I want to return it (unopened) I am abused with dirty looks, then given $20 for not having a receipt. Better yet, knowing that I was just ripped off, I try to get my item back and Im told it was processed for damaged products (mind you the box was sealed). Why do I have to come out of character (uncomfortably) to receive proper service and get back my item after noticing Im getting ripped off. Why do I have to get my item back without a box and pieces falling all over the place. Why do I have to tell you Target to please give me the box when I just gave it to you 5 minutes ago? Why was it processed for damaged goods when I told you it is still new and unopened? Why do I have to embarrass myself and say Ill dig in the garbage myself to get my daughters toy box back? After all that, I get a mutilated box in worse condition i brought. I felt somewhat like the box if I may take it there. Very unhappy and very embarrassed. Target I treat you too good with my money to receive this disrespect. Im very disappointed in you.
This store was great in the beginning, but has gone downhill since. People go and open up packages and eating the contents, then putting the item back, that is disgusting. People have taken blueberries, strawberries and other fruits from their packaging and eating some and putting the rest back, again unsanitary! People do this wherever they can, these are people who lack etiquette! The place has become a place for thieves that prey on the mature seniors, a place for the young and old alike to steal, and workers that dont seem to care! Its a shame when people dont appreciate things and just prove their pride, arrogance, selfish, greedy, self-center attitudes. Im heading further north, hopefully this breed wont follow!
This store is not like the one on 225 Broadway nor 161 exterior AVE, it was clean, and everything was organized in the other targets it looks like a Park kids running playing around knocking things down inventory is poor always out of what we need its horrible but this one is excellent even employees are nice. Yes I will come here again.
I am a huge fan of Target but this particular Target store lacks plenty. The shelves are empty, customer service is not the greatest, merchandise is not displayed well and disorganized and store seems to be a mess most of the time. The store seems to be poorly managed. Very unfortunate considering how convenient it is for the folks that live in the area. Id rather take the drive to New Rochelle and find what I need.
Today is July 11 2019 and it is six fourth in the evening. Drop by to get milk. My son was hungry for him a pizza. When we go to sit down by Starbucks all the seats in back close off. There only one person cleaning the pots and the floors are disgusting. Apparently there another worker who comes out after ten minutes and is complaining to the young lady who helping a customer. The women helping the customer was of Hispanic origin. The second worker African American complaining in front of the customers says I am tired. The other complains what are you tired about all you did all day is hang out. She not helping the other person nor cleaning. There is water coming down the side by the garbage can. I know it hasn’t been empty by al the flies. It sad that you hire two people and only one doing their job while the other one complains. I know the manager of this store but he not around. So that when this store falls a part. I have pictures
The worst target I have ever been to. I gave it a chance few times since I live close (country club)The costumer service is aweful. At target I dont expect a 5 star service, but I do expect knowledge and common sense.I would like to share the name of the lady who should never face a costumer (my opinion) but as I asked for her name she covered her name tag with her hand. Something tells me she has something to hide.Also when I spoke to the manager about how she treated me the manager said Ill give you a number to file a complaint. Like really!I know you it is 2017 but her behavior said that I hate white people. I think she even called me a name something ...white!
I placed an order online to pick up and after receiving the pick up email I went to the the items. I drove all the way to the store which is across the bronx only to find out there was a mistake with my order. My order was originally for 30items and they said it was supposed to be 5 only. Honor mistakes or do not send READY TO PICK UP emails to customers.
I LOVE TARGET ! Along with everyone else in the world but I have had several bad experiences at this particular location with the customer service department .I feel that the management pick and choose based on their mood whether they want to accept an item for return or exchange . From my understanding it is not Target policy but thats whats done . So now I shop here for household basics and baby basics , but no longer purchase clothing , shoes ,for myself , husband and 4 children As well as video games.Its a great quick target run place but they can work on customer service
Store for the most part is stocked well and clean. Every associate i have been in contact with whether through a simple inquiry, exchange process ,or assistance request by the self check out module, have always resulted in genuine concern by floor associates so customer service is really being stressed during training i presume.My one ⭐️ takeaway was due to a “needs improvement” in their produce section.If you just need pick up a few small items you’ll be fine.Don’t expect to find every item on your grocery list if youre planning on covering every food category.Fruit and veggie section is not too big.With that said, its my favorite Target in the bronx and i hope it remains so.Dont lose your smile folks!
Horrible horrible horrible, I go online and purchase an item that the store said they had on stock. So when its time to go pick it up I get a text and email saying to go pick up my item, Ive been backed up with work and everything so when I do go pick it up they had the wrong item!! Then tell me they dont even have the item in stock, like what?! Couldve told me this over email! Then the excuse they used was Theres boys in the stock room they dont know makeup well I DONT CARE Im a paying customer who works and was so tired from work and came to target for a waste of my time! So unprofessional!
I went to visit the store today with my daughter and her twins. They are three years old. We used two shopping carts, we put one kid in each cart and went to the toy dept. Each twin got a toy, but it was a terrible experience, one of the employee left the box cutter inside the toy(it was the big Toy Story Woody toy). My grandson took the box cutter and said to me, Mima, I dont like this. Very carefully I took it from his little hand and looked for a manager. One of the Sale Rep. took me to to the manager. He was talking to other employees, I gave him the box cutter and told him, please ask your employees to be more careful. He took the knife and said I apologize. Didnt show any concern, didnt ask if something happen to the baby. Rudeness and careless people we dont need in our neighborhood.
Worst Target ever!!!! I live in the Bronx but I always go to CT/Whitestone/Westchester locations. I called to ask about Nintendo Switch and all of the other locations were helpful about when and how to line up to purchase a unit, but the manager named Crystal said its up to you with an attitude when I told her that her location is the closest to me and that if she has enough in stock, Id rather go to her location. This is the second time that I had a problem with this location. With a team leader like that, Im surprised that this location is still open. If you have a car, avoid this location at all cost. I love Target, but this location really stinks!
The customer service at this location is the worst in the bronx not only did I have to nag security to go over and get the people that were stuck in the elevator out, I’m asking the manager Jason to open another register as it is a school night and most of the 40 or so people are parents with their kids and instead he closes one of the 3 lanes that are open. Very disappointed and will most likely not be returning. I am watching people put their things down and walk out and he closes the line. Sad face
Ugh lets see where do I start because each time I go in there its a different situation horrible staff managers why are they there ??? So about these coupons on target its funny they want u to spend a certain amount to receive a gift care and when u do you cant even use it for after a purchase idk why I asked to speak to a manager because he didnt help at all people are on budgets!!!! Not everyone in throgsneck is a doctor or lawyer target needs to make it clear about how to use the coupons !!!!!!! Because yes I do love target and yes I depend on this store!!! Why not actually do what normal coupons do and explain in each detail about the coupon!! Since target has so much time to put in every isle about the coupon why not say a little more then getting a free gift card doesnt say see a manager for details either horrible !!! Always long lines so many people work there they should have available cashiers !!! And the ones that wanna help theres like 3 of them the rest garbage !!! The only reason why I go to this store is because this is the only store that I can get everything from Kmart is even further !! The cashier named Nefertiti is so lazy and apparently doesnt like her job. She charged me twice on multiple items and refused to fix her mistakes. The customer before me went through the same thing as she was over chargerd on many items. Be careful when you go to this Target store and review ur receipts.
Its laughable that this place isnt under new management by now. Its so disgusting. The moment you walk into this ghetto hell hole, you see garbage all over the floor, products thrown all over the place and employees that look like they just escaped prison and wouldnt think twice before deciding to steal your wallet. Lets not forget that the prices advertised arent what they charge you at the register. There are ladders on the floor, pallets in the middle of aisles, employees walking around with their pants sagging while rapping loudly, meanwhile the entire store looks like it was hit by a fierce hurricane. I just cant understand how Target allows such poor management to take place. This store is a pile of garbage and just about everyone in there should be fired.
I guess I have been a little spoiled after living in the midwest for 2 years. Targets there have wider aisles and its easier for people to use the aisles! In this target, some aisles are wide and some are not. Thats the only complain I have. Overall, its like another Target, prices are very similar to the ones in the midwest and quality of fruits and vegetables are better than Aldi or KeyFood and StopnShop.
There is discrepancies on their sale tags and a regular floor supervisor was rude and wasnt about to give me what the sale was. She was trying to say oh you had to buy two of the same product when the signs clearly dont mention that. I had to ask for the supervisor above her.
I like this location little bit better then the other ones but its getting to be my least favorite place to shop now because the customer service is there getting worse no ones there to help you and no phone service available and the cash lines are getting slower n slower....wish they can expedite more fast check outs lanes
Target is my Mini Walmart. But, the reason Im giving it one star is because of the disappointment Ive had lately with them not locking the Electric Shopping Scooters, like they used to. Target, BJS Costcos, Stop And Shop, The Home Depot, Walmart, Ect.. Should be more sensitive and mindful of people with mobility issues. They should have these Scooters in decent conditions, fully charged, and locked. They should allow the use of them only to people who really need them. Its so sad.
The employees tried to out smart me with their target jargon when I approached the team member in the self checkout area about a promotion that was going on to explain wheree the sign was placed and that they should honor their mistake but was abruptly told I was wrong and should read the signs little print and not just the bold print
The lines here are always ridiculous and it is completely unacceptable. Seems like everyone goes on break together. Im currently standing in line with only one register open and the self checkout line is overwhelmed as well. Cecil is the manager on duty and seems reluctant to open another line.
I CALLED TO SEE ABOUT my package the person said on the phone I cant help you. Poor service been waiting hour on the phone. This store has a failing grade F_poor service needs more improvement. Manager should be fired not teaching his staff how to answer the phone. Disatisfactory not happy with the service
I’ve coming this location since they open, its getting worst customer service at the pick up and exchange desk taking forever, whenever i coming here to pick up or exchange something, i see all the employees they just talking to each other or they’re busy with cell phone, they act like they dont care abt the Coustomer!!
I love Target and what they have in their stores . This location in throggs neck is very convenient however , It’s always seems understaffed . 20 registers and 4 are being utilized besides self check out . It sometimes takes me less time to drive to mount Vernon then to come here . This place is poorly managed and it’s very disappointing as I always viewed Target as an asset to our community .
Normally I dont have problems at this location. Today might have been a glitch. I went to the technology desk at my local Target to purchase a Galaxy watch. All was going well until I attempted to pay with my Target Red card. It kept getting rejected. So I thought it was possible the chip had gone bad or the reader had a problem. So I paid for it with another card. Not what I wanted to do. I then go to pay for some groceries I bought at the same Target store a few minutes later. I was expecting my Target Red Card to give me a problem. It didnt all was well. Do the technology people work for Target or if they dont they do not accept the Red card. If the second case is true why wasnt I told the Red Card is not accepted at Target? Very odd.
Got really upset I went today to do some Christmas shopping and had my TEACUP dog with me in a bag and was turned right out because I had a dog with me ... the reason why Im upset if because is not the fist time I go to this locations with my dog and even target members have been very friendly to her. My problem is if you have rules and restrictions pls let it be at all times no matter how convenient this location is for me I will no longer spend my money there
Horrible place ugly looking Spanish security guards watching you enter the store and standing in the way on the way out. The workers are horrible here I asked this black girl with braids that were half colored blond where the Thermoses were and she completely ignored me and kept walking this was about 6:13pm 12/30/16 this happened. Then I asked a young Spanish guy that worked here that spoke English, but he didnt even know what a Thermoses was and he was working in the Kitchen section it was like the blind leading the blind. Most of the things in here are over priced too. I cant wait till Amazon opens an Amazon go Ill never have to deal with ass hole workers in a store ever again. This store is the worst. The only reason I walked in here was to get a Thermoses right away for my mom and we walked out with nothing. Target just lost two costumers and I dont like walking in stores as it is.
Target is not what it used to be a few years ago, seems like customer service is not a main priority anymore or knowing anything about where merchandise would be located, lucky I had what seemed to be a VERY knowledgeable associate in the return/customer service area that was very helpful, which earned Thai place 3 stars
This T is clean, but they take to long to replace the merchandise. Every time I have gone to buy something I needed, they dont have the product Im looking for or they have not replenished it. I keep on hoping that they have replace the product they ran out off but with no luck. In the end I have to goto Wal-Mart.
It was a pleasure to shop at Targets on Hutchinson River Pkway the Bronx today. Disappointed, prices are way different from what they are marked on the stands and when you go to the register to pay. It happened on several item... Difference in price more than 50%... From $2.99 to $$9.99 and other from $21.99 to $41.99 and the response I got: its suppose to be $59.99... I just left, not worth it.

2019-11-22The level of service is amazing the store is clean and family oriented! the restroom is clean everything you needs by size they have! Also Starbucks inside which is pretty amazing and is just fun to get a play with the toys and map out furniture‘s artwork of how you want to re-design your home. You will also meet people so it’s pretty good over there nice and quiet everyone acts professional.PS and they always have great sales and bargains

2022-03-08Horrible experince. STAY AWAYMy pregnant wife and I were profiled due to the amount of items we had at self checkout. It was so unprofessional for security to approch us in such a disrespectdul manner. My wife is pregnant and the amount of stress caused by not only our house catching fire but to be profiled because of race is sad at this time and age. I truly pray this Target stops targeting minorities.

2022-01-06I used drive up delivery and when I got home I found that no one took off the security tags off the clothes. Now I have to drive all the way back to the store because someone doesnt know how to do their job.

2021-11-30Today was one for the ages. My wife ordered 2 Nespresso refill cup boxes. Ordered pick up service. Pulled into the pick up service spot, clicked my all that i had arrived and received my pick up code and waited for the customer service person to bring my order. He pulled up , confirmed my code and name gave me my two bags and walked off. As i usually do to check my order, i looked in the bags. I expecting three items, 2 boxes of coffee refills and and pack of cookie dough totaling about $20. It’s must have been some kind of Xmas miracle and what do i see when i look down in the bags….2 Brand New Apple Series 3 Watches!! I sat and contemplated about how to proceed knowing that i could easily drive off and and keep the watches and deny any type of knowledge of receiving them .My coffee and cookies were not in the bag either. I sat for another minute and through about the ramifications it could have had to whoever made the error. Maybe be a few workers could have been laid off due to the confusion and that would weigh heavy on my mind especially during the holiday season. I go in explain the confusion and return the watches. This error would have more than likely costs a few employees their jobs and about a $800 loss in product to the store. I am not asking for an astronomical compensation but i was given a $10 gift card for my troubles! I tried to contact the store manager to explain this situation but was transferred about 5 times and never made one contact. Hopefully this store shapes up on its customer service and loss prevention because you’re not gonna see too many honest people returning that kind of merchandise and not as much as a genuine thank you.
