As a vegan, I review things accordingly.I review based on vegan options and staff friendliness.Vegan options: It is scattered, but its meant to be since you wouldnt put ice cream with frozen entrees, so no point deductions there. There are TONS of options for vegans including their own home brands favorite day (ice cream) and good and gather (everything else). Very generous mix of both home and foreign brands. Competition leads to innovation, better products, lower prices, everyone wins! 5/5 here.Friendliness: As with every store, the staff is ready to help at a moments notice. No store has ever gotten anything less than a 5/5 so thats what target gets also.5/5 + 5/5 = 10/10 = 5/5. Very nice work Target!
Good selection of things and the store is very clean and store is located close to where I live. There were many too customers in the store without masks and not staying 6ft apart at the checkouts. The cashier was friendly and helpful (with Target Circle app) and the restroom was clean.
Fast, accurate, friendly and free! I love the contactless drive up service When using the app. Very fast and easy. The app is very easy to use too! I just wish I could get anything that is in the store. Some things aren’t available for pickup but say they’re in stock. Not sure why?
There was nobody around to assist me. I didn’t see any employees until I went along the back wall and I ran across “mami”. She was very patient with me. I could tell she had no idea of what I was talking about, her face was priceless, but she stood there with me until she did. I wanted to say she is a sweetheart and she went out of her way to make sure I was satisfied. Great girl !
My son recently purchased a Playstation5 online. His order was confirmed and Target put a hold on his bank account for the purchase price. Three hours later, Target canceled his order but the hold remained on his account. When he called the store, they stated that “the website allows more purchases than they have of the product.” When we talked to a manger, there was no offer to rectify this. If you purchase a product, Target holds your bank account for the amount of purchase, confirms your purchase, Target should have delivered that purchase to the customer. This is unacceptable customer service and a sketchy practice at best.
I shopped at this Target since they opened. I dont know what has happened in the last year or so, but what used to be a pleasant place to shop has gone to h$ll in a handbag. For years I never heard an employee complain and they all seemed to enjoy being an employee. Lately, any time Ive gone in, the store is a mess and employees are unhappy and underappreciated by higher ups. You dont have to be a rocket scientist to figure out something has definitely changed about the energy in the store. I feel bad for the employees.
Josh in the electronics department was just awesome!! So my friend & I bought a 65 TV & as we were trying to load it into the car we quickly realized that it wouldnt fit. We then decided to take it out of the box so we could get it to fit into the car. We went to the customer service desk to ask for scissors & they wouldnt let us barrow any, as well as the gentleman who brought the TV out to us did NOT help us at all, or even offer to help in the slightest, as he watched 2 small girls try to load it into the car & couldnt get it to fit, he was useless.Josh then happened to be walking by out front as we finally got the box open to load the tv into the car and without hesitation he assisted us with getting the 65 tv out of the box and safely into the car. He is a gem, truly. Thank you Josh for all your help!!! I hope Target does something extra for their employees who go above and beyond to make their company look so good!
Usually a great store, but if you are planning on getting more than a couple things dont even bother. There are never enough cashiers and I always end up waiting FOREVER. (A good 20 minutes literally to just leave the store). This specific instance was even on a Saturday afternoon where they really should have more than one cashout lane open! (Webster, NY location)
A big shout out to “John”, a store associate who works in the electronics department at the Webster on Holt Road. I was in the store last month on Black Friday and he took the time to help me find some items I was searching for and was very informative about the products in that department. He was courteous and kind. Keep up the good work!
The friendly - new person helping and the fact that she contacted the back room to find another larger size of the long sleeved tee I ordered in wrong size. The larger tee was not on the floor. She handled the exchange very quickly - the longest wait was for the back room person to come up front. And...of course I then went into the store and bought a few more things.
I fault none of the store employees, they are exceptionally friendly and helpful. Although my problem occurs with their prices and so called inventory. Products that they verbally said or say are in stock on the website are clearly not at this store. A bit deceptive, but whatever. Just please try to be a bit more accurate with that. This location target is lucky it doesnt have other electronic/ department stores that compete with it in Webster because Im under the impression they would give this store some real competition.
Target has a great selection of ladies clothes that always appeal to me. The home decor department has a great selection as well, their products are trendy and good quality. I recently purchased new bath towels. They were on sale for a good price and have been holding up nicely to many trips through the washer and dryer.
The manager Lindsay is definitely on a power trip. Store is in good shape but when you claim to price match items on amazon you shouldn’t be able to leave the price match up to the store manger. You either do or you don’t. Especially when she would only match for people of her sexual preference. Aka. Don’t waste your time if your a man. 🍆❌ no price match for you!
I just want to ask -- what the hell has happened to our Target? For the last two months, its been a complete mess. Now, over the holidays, I could understand but was just in there tonight and its just gross! I dont enjoy it anymore. I actually stopped quite a long time ago. Their stuff has just gotten cheaper and less interesting. I used to find cool stuff there; now its just a glorified Walmart. Its sad. I wonder whats happened.
I went to target and asked 3 employees to help me find an item. They found it in the back and I was very excited, went to go buy it and the self check out said error cannot be sold. Someone came over and told me I can’t buy it because it hasn’t been released. I was very upset i asked to speak to Kayla who is a manager there and she apologized and said they weren’t supposed to give me the item, but that still isn’t my fault and she said because of the inconvenience that I can call the day before and put it on a 24 hour hold and she even wrote down the item number and she signed it. I asked her multiple times before I left the store that I can definitely put it on hold and come get it the next day? She said yes. So I left. I called and told them what happened on the day expecting them to comply with what Kayla told me and they didn’t let me speak to Kayla and put a woman named Stacy on the phone who was so rude she had an attitude, she acted as though this was my fault, when it was the stores fault. Corporate has been called. I will never go to Webster target again. Kayla lied to me to get me out of the store and Stacy gave me attitude and was rude just to get me off the phone. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. Snobby and rude with no empathy and they are liars instead of helping the customer they’d rather ignore the issue.
Bought some costumes online and picked up in store, online order clearly says the item can be returned both to warehouse and to store. While this store refused to return my items because it’s a holiday costume but they told a different story to the online target customer service people by saying my clothes were worn just to push them back.If you don’t comply with Target’s return policy, why don’t you open a store of your own!?
Youve been out of paper towels and Clorox wipes the last four times I visited the store. My kleenex didnt ring up with the 20% off which is a common occurrence at target. NOTHING ever rings up as it should. So now I guess Im outta luck. Im annoyed this happens every single time I come here
Guest service team member was not very pleasant, and did not want to do my return. Asked me for my receipt even though she checked me out 30 minutes before I returned it and said I didn’t need a receipt, then told me it was against store policy for her to do the return without a receipt even though it was a online pickup order and she scanned my phone to pick it up and I provided the same barcode.
Nice target with grocery area in it, and a nice Tech area. It can be accessed from Ridge Rd or Holt Rd in Webster. There is no picture/portrait studio in this Target. It does have a nice Starbucks cafe in it.This Target has updated their electronics area. It is very nice and easy to find what you are looking for with the current layout.
I have never dealt with a manager like this in my life AWFUL! I have been going to the Webster target since it opened and always use to have a good experience here. The past couple months I have gone into the store it always seems to be in a frenzy and very unorganized. What caught my attention the other day at this target is hearing the way the manager Stacy talks to her employees it made me sick hearing how rude a manager could be to someone let alone their own employees no wonder its going downhill. Also why would anyone want to shop at a store where a manager treats the employees and customers like dirt. Stacy you have ruined my shopping experience at this target and I will not be returning to this location or any of my family members and friends untill you learn to be a manager absolutely ridiculous what one persons actions and rudeness can do to a whole store ! Fwi looks like I’m defiantly not the first person to complain about how rude you are learn to treat customers and your employees right or leave the store for the sake of Webster !
They dont even know their own price match policy. Been doing this at Target for awhile. I tried price matching a Dyson Vacuum to Amazon, they denied it because it was Prime. Their policy states it cant be a Prime EXCLUSIVE, meaning its only offered to Prime members. Anyone could have bought this vacuum, not just Prime members. Had to call the corporate customer service number. They took care of the issue for me and assured me I was correct in this situation.
First time I’m leaving a review on a business. Had a confusion with the pricing of an item(the price was almost twice as much from what I was led to believe with the positioning of the item on the shelf with its corresponding price below it), I was offered to go over this confusion with the store manager. I went over to meet the manager at the shelf where I picked out this product in question.As I was approaching that shelf, Lindsay, the store manager was rearranging items on that shelf before I got there to see why there was a confusion over the pricing. Lindsay refuses to acknowledge that there was a mistake-why rearrange stuff on the shelf as I am approaching?This only created further confusion on my part and a loss of confidence in the store manager treating this situation with respect to the fact that there was an error on their part instead of concealing it. Because of this, I do not plan on shopping at Target again.
Lorraine the cashier needs to learn the basics of customer service. I usually have a passable experience with the target team but she was not pleasant in the least and I as target would not want her representing my brand.the Starbucks in this location is always under-staffed and extremely under trained. order was wrong after confirming many times and only one person was serving a crowd. awful
Theyre literally begging people to work there at this point. Sky high banner out front asking people to apply, tables set up inside trying to get people to inquire for a job. As a shopper, its pretty off-putting. Makes me wonder if theres something awful going on with them as a company, or maybe just this location, if nobody wants to work there.
Absolute Worst Return Policy and customer service. Was given an absolutely ridiculous price low price for Returning a Lego set. Would love to be able to walk in a buy the set for the price given on the return. Then try asking that the meet their Satisfaction Guarantee, they cant. so why offer something you cant provide.
This Target gets one star based on the food court. They never have hot dogs during lunch time. You advertise hot dogs and you lie and say the machine is broken ALL of the time. No way would a manager just choose not to have it fixed or order another or at least improvise after 5 weeks! Tell your food court employee to stop lying and stop texting in the back, we see you!
You know the store has bad and lazy management when you can’t order pizza at Pizza Hut. Today I went into the store like I regularly do and to my surprise when stopping at the Pizza Hut on my way out I was told there is no pizza or breadsticks at all. Never in my life have I gone into a Pizza Hut or walked up to a Pizza Hut attached to a store or any pizza shop in this matter and was told we have no pizza what a joke! With this being said whoever the manager is of this location and orders new product honestly I don’t think the job is for you, my child who is 4 years old knows that pizza is served at Pizza Hut and that you would need to order more pizza for Pizza Hut. Either the manager here has no clue what is going on or is just lazy and unmotivated ridiculous!
I love target but when I went today I had 100.00 worth of things and they only had the self help cash out and the cashier wouldnt cash me out the now the old fashion way I guess customer service doesnt exist any more so I left without buying anything ..not that it matter s to them

2022-05-28Our local Webster store has all of the hallmarks that Target is known for.A bright store with organized, well stocked shelves, pleasant, well dressed staff and friendly, welcoming customer service. Plenty of priced right merchandise in every area of the store as opposed to a couple picked-over clearance aisles is much more preferable. Strong commitment to diverse staffing as well.

2022-06-04Target decided to remove all of the aisle signs except in the grocery section. They had them for decades. I dont have an hour to spend looking for items in whatever random place they decided to put them, to play games to figure out what their inner circle vs their red card, or whatever other nonsense they have. I just want to get my things and get out, and to not have to wait 20 minutes in the customer service line.If Targets idea of convenience is to waste my time, Im not going to give them another dime.

User friendly ‘app’ where you can add your card in Wallet and not required to carry your card all the time4. They will not make you a shop addict by giving cash coupons5. 2021-11-28I have, most often, found what I need at Target. The store is clean and laid out so I can find things. They DONT change things around too much, thereby making us look for stuff. And, today, using the shop online and then go pick items up was wonderful for a senior citizen!

2021-08-14Apparently baseball cards are now a dangerous product to offer to customers. I guess I will have to Google what in the world is going on there. Or go to eBay to buy baseball cards for my kids. Adults ruined baseball cards when I was a kid by taking over the industry. History revisited?

2021-11-10I have been to the store twice in a month to purchase two shelf units. Both times the staff were wonderfully helpful, getting people to help me get these large boxes to the checkout and to help me load them into my car. All and all a very nice experience.

2021-06-28Good quality merchandise with enough variety to make a good choice in most departments. Store looks very comfortable and modern without feeling cold or industrial. Staff is friendly and always willing to help especially when looking for items. Really enjoy the food market area that is not overwhelming but has enough to make good choices for lunch or dinner.

2021-10-10I just recently got married. My cousins who couldnt make it got us four pieces of gold silverware from our registry. They are great -but the fourth pack was not the same color gold. No big deal, we will just return it and get a few other things we need. I went into returns and the woman at the counter was very unclear in what she was doing. She just handed me a piece of paper and in my mind this is our temporary gift card. We went and shopped for a few items. Went to go to check out and I told the girl at the register that we wanted to apply the 35 dollar credit that we have. She said it wasnt scanning that we could go back to returns and they can fix that. Eh. Ok. We go back to the same woman. She looks at me and says oh, that return purchase you had went back on your card. I said oh! Ok no problem. Went out to the parking lot and my husband says....how did it go back on your card when you didnt even purchase it? I said ohhhhh youre smart. He stays out in the car. I go back and tell the lady -this return was from my registry. I didnt purchase this. She said oh, next time you need to tell me that. Thats important and I said really? Isnt that part of what youre supposed to ask? How am I supposed to know. I know literally nothing about your job. She responds so Im supposed to ask every customer if its a gift? I was speechless. Im like not to be a jerk, but it is literally your job. I have returned things before at other stores and have been asked if it was a gift. I had to call my husband back in and she had to return everything and THEN recharge my card for the remaining balance and cancel the other transaction. I heard her talking to another associate about this matter. I wasnt even rude to you! Infact you made our trip a real pain in the butt AND you were extremely rude. Do better man, this could have all been prevented.
