I will never do business here and I will do my best to let everyone know how bad they are!!!!!! The manager Amanda will lie to you and then not even face you when you catch her in a lie !!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!!! DO not fall for the line when buying a pool that they have a small bobcat they do not . This work is sublet out and the person that comes is extremely rude !!!! Thanks for nothing Tarson pools and spa ! GO any where else !!!! One star is too much
The staff at the East Syracuse location is top notch! Always extremely knowledgeable, helpful, friendly, attentive, understanding and professional. The quality of service youll receive is second to none. Ive always been satisfied. I highly recommend this location and Tarson pools to handle your pool needs.
I am now on my second hot tub from Tarson. We had a decent experience with the first hot tub. When our first hot tub froze, do to a power problem, we decided we would purchase another. We wanted a small tub like our first one. We were offerd the floor model so we wouldnt have to wait weeks for a new one to come in. The Tub is working ok, had a regulator problem after a year. The make of Tub wasnt as good as our first one, which was called an eclipse. The main problem with the tub is the Cover I was sold. It seemed to small but it was stiff and held up. We mentioned it to Tarson. But offered us no help. Well now the cover has lost it new stiffness, half of it sinks in the hot tub. Debris gets into the tub. We called Tarson they offered us a cover that would fit at cost $250. I dont think I should have to pay for a new cover when I was sold the wrong one in the first place. On another note, the service man was great but it does take awhile for them to come back after the problem is determined and parts are ordered. It took two weeks for Tarson to come back after they determined the regulator was bad. My husband had to call to see what was going on, we hadnt heard from them in awhile. Im glad it wasnt the dead of winter. The tub would have froze.
We had an inground pool installed 7 years ago. We have had issues with the pool and have tried to contact Tarsons on multiple occasions without them returning our calls. This year our liner is completely dryrotted. I tried to call over a month ago to find out what to do about getting a new liner, or to see if they at very least could tell me the type or measurements, because its odd shaped. After being told to call multiple different numbers, the service department took my number and said someone would be calling me back in the next few days. That never happened. I finally found the manufacturer of the liner, Radiant pools, and contacted them simply to ask if there was a serial number somewhere on the liner. The woman was very abrupt, and told me they only talk to dealers. She could give me the name of another local dealer, but its probably too late in the season to get any help.I owned a business for 11 years, and I know problems arise with products. I hate negative reviews because I know things sometimes happen, but I also know that I would never take $30,000 from someone then leave them literally high and dry.We should have known when we bought our jacuzzi and it was in their warehouse but couldnt be delivered for 7 weeks, that their customer service is terrible. Instead we simply went and gother it ourselves to make it easier. I cant advise you strongly enough to stay away from this business.
The customer service is unbelievable at this location. Very helpful, if you have any questions they all seem to know how to answer them and if you are getting liquid chlorine they usually have it loaded into your car before youre even done paying for it. I work nearby but I would drive past 5 pool stores to come to this location.
Loved the store and setup. They had the spa chemicals I needed and fully explained their use. The associate even suggested aromatherapy products to enhance the spa experience. Thanks so much!!!
We visited here today to aquire three items to help care for our pool. They had one of them. The fella wgo was attempting to assist us went inro the back room several times to return empty handed with vwry little information about what they did have or when what we needed would be available. Frustrating.Side note: if you like any of the pool fliars they have at Tarson the same exact items are available at 5 below for a quarter of the price
This is a great place to get information. You might find some items for less on Amazon. The Tarson spool wintering kit works better than the Bioguard product so dont waste your money.
I purchased a 27ft round Radiant pool, took forever to get installed, crack skimmer from over tightening, did not use mix of cement and sand , all bumps in bottom of liner , paid $10.000 for pool never show me to run pump , left be for pool was even filled and had to come back to change skimmer week later , I paid Poolwater guy $1200 for water because I’m on a well in country and when tarson guy came to change skimmer he dump my water out on ground instead of blow up small pool , I had to pay pool water another $400 to fill. Then from this day I never even got a call on if I like pool ex ex ex , now must likly I have to have another company come out next year and redo linner and make level, deeper in one side than other, very very poor service, I do not recommend this company and remember u get what u pay for. Terrible
I paid to have my pool cleaned. I was very clear that I needed the leafs removed from my pool. There is over a foot of leafs in my pool and they told me that I had to do the rest myself. AMANDA AND ALL THE STAFF AT E. SYRACUSE ARE THE GREATEST!THEY ALWAYS HAVE THE RIGHT ANSWERS AND ARE THE MOST HELPFUL I HAVE EVERY SEEN.IT IS A GREAT PLACE TO GO TO FOR HELP AND ANSWERS.

2019-11-09Moved into a new home which already had a hot tub. We were having problems with it after about 1 month, and since we never owned one prior, we were lost! Jeff was very knowledgeable and diagnosed the problem...which wasnt cheap, but things happen when your unit is over 10 years old. It took some time for parts to arrive from the vendor, but we finally are up and running! Thank you to Adam and Jeff for helping us!!!!

2020-06-08Entire staff is knowledgeable and helpful - from Amanda and employees in-store, to those out in the field. The other companies along that ‘strip’ and other locals have either bungled many jobs, are exorbitantly overpriced or have been inattentive and rude. Since we’ve decide to stick exclusively w Tarson, we’ve had a heater, tramp cover and liner installed with great results - not to mention the numerous openings, closings and pool water tests and supplies. A winner in this area IMO.
