I ordered delivery from Taste Deli & Grill three times in the past few months. The first time they didnt show up at all. The second time was really good and the third time was even better. I do like the food and they are priced pretty good. I would order again and I would recommend trying them.
Had a mix up with delivery. Driver must have dropped food at wrong address but didnt admit it. I would have tipped him if he was honest. I called Taste after he left in a hurry to find my misdelivered order.The lady who answered was very nice. Excellent customer service. I explained to her my issue and she put in another order. After about 30 minutes the delivery guy was back with my misplaced delivery. He put his head down as he handed me the order. No apology. No admittance to his mistake.About 15 minutes later he called me to say he made a mistake and was bringing my order. I saod No thanks bc I already had my food.I hope next time he is just hinest about his mistakes. I hate liars!Taste will still get my business bc the service itself is great and the food is better than than The diners near me. Also they have rectified the issue with me a_s a customer and I appreciate that kind of business.
Ordered a few times from them, for some reason the chef constantly forgets to add something to my order. From cheese being placed on my sandwich to mayo and ketchup not being placed on my breakfast. EXTREMELY ANNOYING!! Also for some reason idk if it’s just me but based on who’s working the counter the prices alwaysVaries. I Could literally get the same order and pay two different prices based on who’s there.
Food is GREAT, coffee is heaven sent & delivery is usually on time but if they could get my order correct I would order more frequently. Customer service is everything, and attention to detail matters. You know how many salads I havent enjoyed because they cant get the dressing right? Ceaser does not sound like balsamic vinegar, French or Italian. Their sandwiches bomb, burgers bomb, breakfast, kinda expensive but bomb. If they could just make the orders exactly how they are ordered I would literally give them 10 stars. You ask for easy over they give you scrambled, you want bacon? Heres some sausage... -_- Worst part is when you call to tell them they messed up again they have an attitude and/or send the correct stuff 45 minutes later.
So I usually never had an issue. One day the food I order was not consistent and they said I would be credited 17 dollars for the 2 platters we ordered I call today apparently no note was left. Thanks taste you just lost a regular and I will call my bank to decline you your charge 3rd time this happened I let the other 2 times slide. Three is enough
I sometimes get breakfast from here and everything goes pretty well but today i ordered an egg and cheese and they left bits of bacon on it... I dont eat bacon AT ALL and i had to throw it out. Also the croissant was very hard and the cheese was cold... it wasnt enjoyable at all tbh. please do better next time. This is just temporary unless i have the same issue again
Ordered some chicken and avocado. The avocado was so old it was brown. Called the restaurant they told me they do not inspect the food. Asked for a refund. I paid $3.20 for it staff said they will refund me the money for it. The refunded me $1. There was also some lettuce in the box. Looked like they took it out of another plate. Will never order again from this place. Cant believe I was told they dont check their food before it goes out. Wonder what else is old.
Horrible food. Ordered food from them and it came almost an hour late. Turkey was slimy and panini was ice cold. When asked for a refund they refused. They did not even offer to try and accommodate. Horrible business and horrible food. Do not order from there! Wish I could give it half a star!
Friendly service, food is prepared fast quick and in a hurry with care! Ran out of avocado upon arrival for pickup so that was disappointing but they were happy to substitue it for a host of other things to make up for the inconvenience! I appreciated that. Location is not centralized at all but a pretty clean and organized deli.
The food in this place is amazing -- hands down the best breakfast deli. However, their prices are extremely expensive, especially ordering through grubhub. Its better to make a call and place an order since it seems like hey unfairly spike up their prices online. For example, through grubhub, a bacon egg and cheese would be 5+ dollars as opposed to the actual menu item. Forgive me, but I dont even pay 5 dollars for a breakfast sandwich in the city, so I certainly wouldnt pay for it in queens !
Taste cafe & grill is one of my favorite places to order from when I got to work.... they are always fast, clean and reliable.. they read the notes and make sure your food is up to standard every time I order and I never have any problems with the way my food is prepared or how it looks.... thanks for always being great 💜💜💜
Terrible customer service. They should only do Seamless or Grubhub or phone orders! They never greet you when you walk in because they’re so busy doing take out orders. Then they’re rude and rush you. I used to love getting coffee here but it’s becoming such a low point in my day because they’re so absolutely rude - I will never spend money here again.
Ive been ordering food from this place for over 5 years, but today I ordered pancakes and found a hair in it. Yes, a hair! I got disgusted threw the strand of hair in the garbage. Now that I called and told them the situation they said theyll send out another order. Within 2 mins I got a call from them saying I had to return the pancakes WITH the hair. I explained I had already thrown out the hair and i can give them the pancakes back but they insisted of getting the hair back in order to get a new batch. Are you kidding me? Im returning the previous order its not like im keeping it? Talk about being a loyal customer for over 5 years! This is by far horrible. Im really suppose to dig in the garbage for a strand of hair. Hope this doesnt happen to anyone else. I cant believe i got this kind of service from Taste & Grill.
This place will mess up your order if you order over the phone every time I order over the phone I either receive the wrong order or something is missing and then when I call them so they can fix it takes over an hour for them to send me the correct items. Dont bother with this place Customer service sucks
Last time I went there the guy decided to completely ignore me and pretend like I didnt exist to talk to the customer ahead of me.He stood there for over five minutes talking about Comcast and how he used to work for them(Maybe he no longer does because of his poor customer service).The other guy counting money at the register was just staring at me.Mind you I ordered through Grubhub and all I had to do was pick up my order.When he finally decided to acknowledge me and I told him why I was there he stares at the invoice then hands over the food which was by now warm.Long story short poor custoner service abd rge foid is not that great.Definitely never ordering from there again.

2022-02-25Second time receiving almost rotten avocados in my meal. People answering the phones are very rude. Overall great food and fast deliveries. They need to learn to speak to people properly and serve food that isn’t rotting away. I don’t think I will be ordering from here anymore. Totally turned off from here now.

2022-02-25I came here a while ago and the food was alright. It wasnt amazing but it wasnt bad either. I came here with someone and we ordered a Big Mess Wrap and a Tex Wrap (I cant remember the exact name) along with a smoothie and a milkshake. The food was average but it was definitely fresh. The environment was nice and small like that of a bodega and the workers were loud but seemed like nice people. Its a good place for when you need to grab a quick bite.

2022-02-09Very odd to see the low reviews. I have been ordering from them consistently through Uber eats and the food is amazing. They have became my #1 to go spot for break and lunch. Every day i order snd they pay attention to all my notes all my changes. This has been the only cafe that actually substitutes my order when I specify adds the extra Mayo ensure the ketchup in which area too. I love The bacon egg and cheese and omg their coffee is by far THE BEST COFFEE I have had in so long. Super cheaper than Starbucks which I usually get.They are actually one of the top rated on Uber too.

2022-01-18There’s a lady smoking cigarettes that fills up the entire inside space with the smell. The staff don’t communicate well to each other. Literally got mocked by one of the employees as I was leaving.

2021-05-29I have ordered from taste for many years. As of recently, there have been numerous times they have messed up my order. There was one incident were they sent the wrong hot beverage, they resent the correct one but the second time the lid was opened and looked as if someone drank from it. They had to resend it again! They mess up over and over and it’s frustrating.

2020-09-22I always order from here but today was an expectation. Today I called to order for pick up and the person handling the calls was incredible rude. I wanted to order a bacon cheeseburger deluxe and a Mexican burger deluxe but I only got to order my first item before the person decided to hang up after my first item. Not only did the person hang up but also said okay fine thanks in a nasty tone. I will not be picking up the order so I hope you are happy with wasting a lackluster burger. I will not be ordering from here for a while.

2021-04-28I being coming here for about 8 years. I never had any bad experience before. However, recently today April 28 2021. I had a a very bad a experience with their employees.Before, Lets just say in the early morning there was a Spanish lady that was very nice and take your orders with no problem. After all business is business.However, this morning after 8:30AM the issue started with a spanish employee who said He dont understand English language? So how many English languages are there? Why his working there if he doesnt know english?The order was very simple to understand as Im writing it.1.Bagel Bacon, Egg, and Cheese with Tomato,Large Ice Coffee.2.The second ordered was fry eggs not sunny up, avocado, and fry toast with tea.Spanish guy there who serve said again he dont know English-speaking language. He didnt take the ordered, and he rip the paper or something and neglected the ordered to someone else.I dont understand when there is a simple ordered why his trying to discriminate?After the same Spanish guy went to help his own Spanish and talk and Spanish to other customers thats not discrimination? To me it is being discriminating.In addition, 8 years coming to this restaurant and until Now this place have issues with english speaking customers? So why after so many years of coming my orders have being taking in english speaking and in writing english without any problems at all.Furthermore, the white girl with pink hair continued to talk about how we dont know english? So why for a Spanish employee who works there dont help english speaking customers only Spanish speaking customers? Doesnt make sense?Afterwards, she continues to talk about how we dont know English. She even cursed us out, and said F ing sit down or F ing get out.What a bad customer services they have in Taste Cafe & Grill.Not only the order was neglected. It was discriminating by a word called english when Spanish guy only helps his own speaking Spanish people. In top of the customers get cursed because just maybe we customers dont know how to cursed them out. Im not saying cursed the employees out but since they discriminate and cursed customers out maybe the employees need the same treatment back.I wouldnt recommend this place to anyone at all. Again this place waited until after 8 years to tell me that they have issues with english speaking customers that they wont take my orders. So what happen in the 8 years I being a customer to this place? They took my orders before, and had absolutely no problems with my english,now what happen?In the other hand, The other lady in the morning was very polite and nice. She takes customers orders ASAP without any problems. She was a Spanish lady who served all customers alike and she spoke both english and spanish to any customers to help them with their order. She meant business. This what Taste Cafe & Grilled should mean.I probably wont be coming back here unless their employees are more polite and know how to treat their customers. Or they get new employees who are willing to serve their customers the appropriate ways by business efforts. And are willing to work for their customers and their business company Taste Cafe & Grill.

2021-08-20DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME AND ORDER FROM THIS PLACE .THEY DO NOT PUT THE ORDER IN WHEN YOU CALL THEY DONT KNOW WHATS GOING ON WHEN YOU ARRIVE TO PICK UP YOUR ORDER .THEY NEED TO GET NEW PEOPLE IN THE FRONT TAKING ORDERS THE CURRENT ONES IS NOT FIT FOR THE JOBI PLACED A ORDER AT 10:24am I go in at 11am to find out the order wasn’t even placed the girls looking around for my order when no one even wrote it down to begin withI will make sure I never come back here for the waste of my time
