Not just your average Thai Restaurant. Taste of Siam goes above and beyond expectations. If you love HEAT, their homemade spices/sauces can give off some serious🔥.I go for the homemade House Noodles with chicken and vegetables in a savory peanut sauce. Highly recommend!
Used to be great but lately has been sub par. With a tofu entree plus spring rolls running $27 plus you would expect more than a tiny box of rice and no hair in the rolls. The curry is alright saving this from being a one star although the veggies could be cooked longer and it would be nice if the curry actually came with the tofu.
In terms of service and authenticity of food, both need work. The slum-like looking façade of the restaurant is a bit off turning. Living by the narrative of not judging a book by its cover; I went it. The impatient server paid my sister and I very little mind. The shortness and lack of communication was a bit uncomfortable as a customer. Trying to leave an honest and not dramatic review, my sister and I were not checked on once by our initial server. Although as larger families of lighter skin tones entered the patio and were in the midst of their meals, our servers attitude suddenly brightened and made sure to check on those families 3-4 times during their meal. My server did not check on us once, he did not bring us our food, not our appetizer that was farm from acceptable; he only repeatedly asked for our payment as if we were going to run out without paying. Honestly, probably being the most capable on the patio to buy everyone’s dinner 100 times this left us feeling a bit targeted. In the 20 solid minutes while waiting for our change we were drafting a review for the restaurant. I understand things happens, but this was clearly about something else. The food is extremely generic and far from authentic. I understand in a cozy white neighborhood this is passing as Thai, in any other large city absolutely not. The prices were far more than unacceptable for an establishment of this grade.$20 a plate for essentially Asian take out corner store quality is not appropriate. I love to support small businesses but this probably will not be one that my friends and family and I will return to.-Best of luck.
Wait for food was at least an hour, food was brought out several minutes between each dish, waited for the last person at our table to receive their food 10 minutes after the first person received theirs. Delicious fried rice, fresh veggies, the food has always been of the highest quality. Seems that the front of house is always understaffed and overwhelmed.
I love this place! I always get the pad thai and switch up the protein. Their spring rolls are wonderful and the doing sauce is flavorful. My friends ordered tofu with theirs and it looked super yummy and I dont even like tofu. Looking to try their curry soon ifi can stop getting my fav lol
Great place to eat! So many options on the menu that you’ll come back many times a year! Great customer service! Great food! The owners are a delight and care about their community! Definitely check it out ASAP if you enjoy Asian Cuisine and looking for something new as well!
Really very very very good! Pad Thai was a bit sweet for my taste... but was very fresh. The red curry tofu was amazing. Portions are big enough for three people. Starters were very good. The peanut sauce for the fresh roll and skewer was so good. This was a nice find. Definitely give this place a try. They deserve the high rating they get.
Hands down the best Thai restaurant in Buffalo! Not just the food but the ambience and the people who serve you are really amazing! Should check it out! Also, they have got Buffalos best fried ice cream!!Overall Taste of Siam is a great place with amazing food and really good ambience.
Amazing food, the portions are huge, staff is inviting and friendly, the apps are on the small side but all the main dishes are large, and the selection is fairly large and will the spice is to order it goes from 1 to 5, I had a 3 and I would compare it to Tabasco type of heat not to strong but a decent kick, it is a small restaurant, maybe fits 20 people they also do pick up and delivery through door dash and maybe Uber eats, will definitely be coming back
Good Thai restaurant. Offer verity and delicious dishes you can choose from. The atmosphere and waiters are good. We had a satisfied meal here after visiting Niagara Falls. Parking right on the street is not a problem, but we came here after 8:30 pm in mid April, which is probably not a popular season.
Never had Thai untill my boyfriend brought me here and its seriously one of our favorite places to eat, the food here is amazing, like melt in your mouth amazing!! I love the sesame chicken! And the soup mmmm its so yummy. We try to order something different everytime we go!!
Hands down for this place 🎈❤️A best Thai place for Buffalo City ...A guest from New York City it’s me who’s like varieties food in different city finally satisfied with Thai food over here ..Best decorated with high level of spicy food you can have over here ...Well behaved with Best environment place in the city of buffalo ...Impressed with their food ...Didn’t try so many but the food was amazingMust go for Sniper fish with red curry and Thai spicy in it..
Taste of Siam is a very good restaurant that I have been frequenting for lunch over the last year. All the dishes Ive tried Ive been very good and I must say that their selection of soup offerings that come with the lunch special I really delicious. Green curry is the best.Prices are very appropriate its my favorite lunch spot in the Elmwood village.
BEST THAI EVERWent with a friend for the first time and we both agreed the best Thai food we have ever had. I have lived in various states around the country and Siam was truly outstanding. Every dish was fresh and very complex, with generous portions too. The manager Ashley came around to each & every table which shows they really care. Our server Melissa was cordial, professional & knowledgeable. She created a real dining experience!!Highly Recommended
Been twice.... Both times, hit the ball out of the park.... Soups (veggies) are too good. We use soups to beat the cold and get the tang. Tom kha, Tom yum are very good. Try hotpot, while you get the occasional head turn from other tables , the quantity is good for 4 cups. Jasmine rice, curry, veg spring roll were all very good. Next best thing was the fried icecream (their bestseller) and a must try. Ambience is very traditional and relaxed. Service is pleasingly excellent.
I drive 35 minutes out of my way to eat here , and would probably drive a hour to get this food, the food is really something to talk about so good and what really makes it is the staff, thy make you feel rite at home, if you never had or never tried this place open your tastebuds and you’ll be hooked!
Best Thailand flavor in town. Wow!!!Start with Tod Pa Muk (Deep fried calamari) as appetizers. The pineapple dipping sauce is delicious. Then, if you like noodles get the taste of Siam noodle soup.I have to say that the service is great. I dont like waitress/waiters who come to the table all the time to ask if everything is fine, but the waitress here was so kind and smiling that her questions felt authentic. Id totally come back.
Melissa hosted us and made sure our orders were all as we wanted them.I tried out the Tom yum soup, because why not. And the yellow curry as my entree. Both were on point traditional and not at all Americanized like most places. I loved every bit of it. My soup was not hot enough so they made sure to modify the soup while increasing how hot it was.I would definitely go back and try more of their food.
Great location. Friendly staff. Food came out quick. I love a Thai restaurant that actually makes SPICY food. Ordered level six and it was super spicy and awesome. I had a hot pot with beef and glass noodles, but not enough noodles - hardly any. Same with the beef. It was all cabage and veggies. The garlic broth was flavorful. Overall good but stingy on the two main ingredients, especially for the pricetag. The vegetable rolls were really good, and the sauces tasty. The drunken noodles were the best Ive had. We had lots of gnats flying about our table. Saw other swatting them away too. A bit pricy to spend in Buffalo at that location, but overall the food was worth the visit.
OK food. Terrible service. No A/C when it’s 85 degrees outside. Had to get up to ask for everything (someone to take our order, someone to bring a box, and someone to bring the bill). No one came to refill our water. Food took a little over an hour to get to us, despite it being lunch. To be clear, this place was not understaffed. Pad Thai was too sweet as well.As a working professional, I would recommend avoiding this place as they do not value your time. They did not even apologize for how long the food took. I wish I were exaggerating.EDIT: When I said this place was not understaffed, I was clearly referring to the front house. With so many people, I should not have to get up *each and every single time* I needed something--it felt like we were being deliberately ignored. Like the owners other responses to bad reviews, the owner qualifies any apology with excuses and appeals to emotion/sympathy. I grew up in a minority, family-owned restaurant. We struggled many times with making ends meet. But we never had customers waiting over an hour for food, nor did they have to get up for requesting water, boxes, the bills, etc. I make it a point to buy local and to support small businesses, having been involved in one myself for so many years. I shouldnt have to argue about this, but the owner insists on acting as if Im being callous by posting this (justifiably) bad review.
We’ve been a customer of Bobby’s at both the old and new location for 20+ years and the food is beyond top notch. I make it out to Taste of Siam a few times a week at least and it’s far and away my number 1 spot for business, pleasure, and everything in between. From the food to the service to the beautiful new location, Taste of Siam is a guaranteed delight every time.
AMAZING! The food was incredible (it smelled so good I dived in before getting a pic). I stuck with the House noodles, medium spice, and they were perfect. Just a hint of heat. The service was fantastic and the atmosphere was spot on. I wish I had discovered this gem sooner!
Taste of Siam is one of my favorite Thai restaurants in the Buffalo area! Their food is so good and I love that many of the dishes are recipes passed down from the owner’s family. I highly recommend the crispy eggplant dish! They use really high quality ingredients. I have only had take out during Covid, but normally I love to eat in. I know some places are hit or miss with takeout, but not Taste of Siam! It’s equally as good if you dine in or get takeout. If you like quality, fresh food, you will like it here!
I went there cause I read so many good reviews. Now I will share my experience. That place was hot and suffocated. I placed myOrder and the waiting time was too long, no one asked me To sit. It is a general courtesy when you are making someone wait. Anyway Its ok.Thai tea was so sweet that it almost taste bitter to me.The mango sticky rice wasn’t even ok. Mango was sour I felt like I am eating raw mango. Not coming back anymore. Disappointment
Food is okay, but just okay... Terrible service. Waited about 10 mins before they took my order. Made an order for takeout, they said they were busy and it would take 30-35 mins. I said okay, waited in my car for half an hour, then when I went to pick up my order they didnt have it. The server was apologetic and said she forgot to put it into the POS. I had to wait AGAIN! In total, it took about 1hr 15mins to get my takeout order. They offered me coupons for my next visit. They ended up taking $10 off, but I told them I wont be coming back.Tldr; waited 75 mins for ~*passable *~ Thai food, b/c they forgot to put in my order.
Feels like I wasted my money....Its like I was expected to mix the spices and sauce together because there was garlic on one section and then some sauce on the other. 🤔. Plus there was limited sauce so the top of my food was dry. Im not even sure if it was fresh. There was literally 3 broccolis in my vegetarian meal. Even the spring rolls seems like they were microwaved because its in a styrofoam that looks microwaved. You know what happens when you microwave styrofoam. 🙄It seems like take out is the worst option. First time eating here by the way.
A lovely evening meal here. We had the $4 happy hour appetizers, along with the Thai Green Curry and rice to share. More than enough to share between 2 people. The service here is very quick. Most importantly, the food and flavours are delicious. A new favourite for me. I will definitely come here again and have recommended it to my friends
We came to eat here after a long day spent at Niagara Falls and it did not disappoint. We were from out of town and love Thai food so we decided to try out this place! 10 out of 10 is all I can say. From the food to the service and atmosphere I would recommend this restaurant to everyone. I would drive 10 hours to eat here again to put it in perspective. Our server was the owners daughter and she was amazing. 10 OUT OF 10.
Went last night for my first time. I would absolutely recommend! It was my first time trying Thai food, and they sure got me hooked! The staff was so friendly . Especially the daughters. The only negative was we waited a while for our meal, but honestly worth it! The food was absolutely delicious! I will definitely be back!
It is a nice Thai restaurant. We ordered red curry which was amazing. It had beans which werent chopped at all, that I had no idea about. Rest we ordered pad Thai noodles which were nice, but too sweet (I didnt know about the sweetness before ordering). The atmosphere is also nice, not very noisy with decent ambience.
Very good place for Thai. Decor is nice and cozy, and food is good. Pricing is based on the protein product you order in your dish, rather than the dish itself, which offers a pretty uniform pricing system across the menu that allows you to order any dish for the same price. The portion size is definitely worth the money as well. They will also ask how spicy you want your dish, and make it accordingly. Good experience.
Waiting time was too long. We waited for almost 2 hours to have our main course. Potato was raw in yellow curry. 20% gratitude was imposed on order of a group of five while in the menu it said it would be mandatory for a group of 6 or more. And the waitress served the dishes to wrong people. A very bad experience. And thank you for your reply. 🙄
I do not want to give even one star to this restaurant. Very very bad experience.1. the food was very slow, we waited like an hour to get our entree2. the waitress messed up our order3. the potato in the curry is not cooked, very raw, and the taste is bad4. this is the point that made me angry really...... The restaurant make the 20% tip compulsory for our group of 5......given the service is so bad, i only want to give 10% actually.
BEST Thai in Buffalo! You may try other places but youll always come back to Taste of Siam. Weve been ordering from them for years and we havent had 1 meal that was sub par. We recently moved out of the city but drove back just to get this Thai. Very friendly staff and amazing chefs!
I have been eating here since 2014. I order food from Taste of Siam at least three times a month (conservatively. I know, I have a problem). Ive dined-in and taken out, and Ive never been disappointed with the taste or quality of the food. They are consistent in flavors, spice levels, textures, and portions. The food is DELICIOUS. Ive eaten Thai at other restaurants in Buffalo, and in NYC, and believe me, they produce something truly special. I am vegan, and they can veganize most of their dishes. I wasnt always vegan when I started eating there, and their non-vegan food is very good as well. If you dine-in the atmosphere is relaxed and cozy (not cramped), and romantic if you are looking for a date night. I really cant say enough about Taste of Siam. Hands down my favorite restaurant in Buffalo. Keep doing good things!!
Both of our dishes were amazing, stir fry and fried rice. Lots of vegetables, fresh, great flavor. Food came out less than ten minutes after we ordered and the portions were huge! Plus a cute little dining room with big windows looking out onto Elmwood. I would recommend this to anyone looking for Thai in Buffalo!
Great staff! They are friendly and the food is awesome! My favorite is their Pud Thai! Their pricing is very reasonable and their service is great. The portions they bring the table are very generously sized. If you are even consider trying Thai cuisine, I would certainly recommend going to eat at A Taste of Siam! My wife and I love it there!
I wanted to grab a quick bite to eat before a meeting and I heard great things about Taste of Siam. It didn’t disappoint! I had the Pud Kanna lunch dish and it was delicious! The atmosphere was great, the service was wonderful, and the food was delectable. The portion size was generous and the cost was very reasonable. I’ll definitely be back!
I have eaten numerous times at both the previous Taste of Thai and the current Taste of Siam restaurant. I have never had one dish or one item that was anything less than 100% perfect. I would highly recommend Taste of Siam to anyone who has an appreciation for excellent Thai food.
Service was a bit slow; we waited 10 minutes for a server to greet us and take our order. We ordered spring rolls with chicken, Tom Yum soup, green curry chicken special and a red curry with pineapple and chicken. We ordered spice level of 2 (medium) for all items but there was a significant difference in spice. The green curry was mild and the sauce was strangely thick...almost like cornstarch or another thickening agent was added. The red curry was a bit spicier and seemed more like you expect curry to be, thin but with some coconut milk. There were lots of veggies which I liked but my dining companions dish had very little chicken. I ordered tea but never received it. They were very apologetic and removed it from the bill. They also gave us a $5 off coupon to try them again. The food is okay but nothing special; the inconsistency in spice and amount of meat in the dishes was the bigger issue; everyone has an off night on occasion so maybe we will give it another shot as the table next to ours had food that looked more appealing.
I come here often to try different items on the menu and have yet to come across something I didnt like. The food is authentic. You can rate your heat 1-5 so you can have it as normal or as hot as your taste buds can tolerate. The service is always great! Whether you go by yourself and sit at the bar, or go with friends and sit at a table, be prepared to enjoy yourself and want to come again.
The food is flavorful and delicious, and has their own unique taste compared to other Thai restaurants. They have hospitable service, and their house made Thai siracha and chili oil only enhance their dishes. Also, their spice levels are true to their range, medium spice (3 stars) actually tastes medium!
Order the pad kemuw (pad kee mow) with beef at a medium (**) spice level for takeout, thus cant comment on dining experience. The portion size was pretty good. Not huge, but more than ample. All the ingredients were extremely fresh, and veggies were cooked perfectly. The amount of beef was also good. The spice level left a little to be desired, although this is a somewhat subjective observation.Moved into the area recently and have walked pass this place numerous times, and after my first time tasting Im quite pleased and will definitely be back.Overall a great experience. If youre looking for Thai I imagine all the dishes are prepared in the same exquisite fashion, so will taste delicious.
The ambiance is great here. Nothing plain and ordinary but not in your face either. The waiters and waitresses were all very cordial and easy to chat with. Regarding the food, I ended up getting the traditional choice of Pad Pud Thai with chicken but I did get mine Thai Hot. Now Im an outlier when it comes to spicy food but I will say that while it was hot, for many it may be unbearable. For me, it was just enough to give me a nice kick and to keep it going. But again, if youre not LOVING spicy food or if you dont frequent it often, Id say go with a level 3 if anything. That said, the food was great but I would like to come back another time and try something new out as well.
Nice ambiance prompt service. Different flavors than other Thai food Ive had. Their phanang curry is much more acidic than anything Ive ever had, and made with far less coconut milk, but is still very tasty with lots of fresh veggies and a good amount of meat. My wife had a noodle dish with a yellow curry sauce that was amazing - sorry I dont remember the name! It was supposed to be served over a bed of lettuce, but was just all noodles (which was fine with us BC the noodles were great!).
NOT good experience here. I was there with Carla, my wife after our daughter graduated with Masters, my food came a few minutes before hers arrived then to add insult to injury right after it comes here comes the check with a auto tip. I refused to tip for a meals that came as everyone else in our group is ready to leave. AND we had reservations for 8:30 and there was no one else in the restaurant at all but us. I dont want anything from you at all since I will NEVER come back and will tell everyone that I know about our time there.
By far a terrible experience. We waited an hour just to get appetizers, the servers came to fill our water once every 20 mins. (if it even was that quick) After getting our appetizers it took another 30 mins for our server to even take our dinner order. We arrived there around 6:30, got our actual dinner around 8pm, and by the time it took her to bring us checks and take our payments we didnt leave until after 9:30pm. The food tasted fine when it finally came, but definitely not worth that kind of wait. The table next to us was seated after us, got their food and checks and left well before we were able to. Ive never walked out of a restaurant before, but if we werent there for a good bye dinner I would have left.
Imho one of the best Thai places in the city. We love the pad thai, sesame chicken, their spring rolls are craveable. Drinks are also on point, never had a bad meal or drink here period. Get them on grub hub, takeout, or sit down. The Thai iced tea is also delicious and refreshing. My go to is the big bowl Thai noodle soup, choice of protein-as always.
The food has been great both times Ive visited and the service is spot on. The only thing that shorts it a 5 star is that it is so loud it is difficult to have a conversation across the table when theres more than a few people in the restaurant. The upstairs is a beautiful space.
Last night I had an intense craving for soup. Specifically tom kha from Taste of Siam. It was the perfect winter day for the fantastic coconut soup.It was a Sunday night, about two hours before closing. I was a solo diner and sat at the bar, no need for me to take up a whole table.I was about to leave after ten or so minutes of not being asked of a food or drink order, nobody handed me a menu (luckily there was a pile next to me anyway), or getting a glass of water.Im not an entitled diner at all and i understand being busy or short staffed two hours before you close on a Sunday, but not getting a glass of water and telling me, Well be right with you, and waiting 10+ minutes for such acknowledgement will be enough to make me walk out.BUT I did not leave, I didnt catch her name but a server/bartender with glasses greeted me so warmly that i forgave being ignored for ten minutes.I had no other issues the rest of my meal. Food was great, service thereafter was great. All I ask for is just being acknowledged. Hello Ill be right with you, or Hello someone will be right with you, here is a menu.
There are several good Thai restaurants in town, but we have decided that Taste of Siam is our favorite. Our current favorite dishes are the Ghang Dang red curry and the Pud Kemow a dish with a basil sauce. We cycle between adding meat and getting the tofu, or just vegetables. We get #2 medium spice. Weve just started using the additional 5 or 6 additional sauces(?) they offer. Love the garlic, and the Sriracha, now every bite is different. The lunch special is a great deal that includes a spring roll, and soup. The restaurant is comfortable and nicely appointed though we usually pickup to take out at dinner. The glass wall in the 2nd floor restaurant overlooks Elmwood Avenue and the Lexington Coop. You can done and think about the shoppers who would have to buy a whole basket of ingredients and still go home and spend time cooking the meal you are having. Definitely a good deal!
The food, once we finally got it after being essentially ignored for nearly an hour, was very good. Wrong order (wrong type of curry dish), but I didnt want to wait any longer, and it was tasty. The bad service and attitude of our server, however, caused us to leave no tip, something weve never done before. One example of incredibly bad service was when server comes to our table, holding a tray of 4 thai teas, to tell me they had run out of thai tea, which I had ordered. When I asked about the 4 on the tray he is holding, right in front of me, he responds that sorry, they were the last ones, for another table. Who does that??? Will never go back.
Great food, nice atmosphere friendly staff. Went there for a birthday lunch. Really enjoyed dinning here, the place was a bit cold parking here to find, but other than that it was perfect.Would visit here again to try some of the other delicious dishes I saw others eating.
Overall the worst take out and what pad Thai I have ever eaten. Ive eaten at plenty of that restaurants around WNY and I will never go here again. Oddly sweet and gritty sauce, slathering overcooked noodles. The chicken was undercooked and bland, and lastly the sprouts on top were unwashed. Ive never thrown out left over Thai but this was so nasty I tossed over half of it, since I couldnt force myself to eat anymore. You couldnt pay me to eat here again.
I try out many thai places in my travels and it never even competes with taste of siam. I always get the red curry with fried tofu and it is amazing, nobody makes it the same. The way you play with flavors, its literally off the chain. My mouth waters everytime I think of this place. Oh, and the peanut dipping sauce for the fresh rolls? Uhhhh yea. Literally my favorite place in the world. All of my love to the chef and his team.
Loved the food and the staff were great that is until it came time to pay. I handed the server my card and friend did the same we told him the amount we wanted charged to each card and he walked away to complete the transaction. Then 10min goes by without our card returning and they charged me 3x. Which for a broke college student is alot.
We are there now 5-18-19 after daughters graduated with her masters. We have been waiting for over an hour. Really an 1 1/2 hour for food top come out. Everyone else has eaten and then our food arrives after I had to ask about it. We are so so disappointed with those place. To top it off we had reservations for 8:30 its now 10:28 and there are STILL people without their meal.It looks nice but services stink.
My boyfriend and I have eaten here on multiple occasions and the food is really great but the service is always so slow. We usually don’t mind this since the servers are nice and helpful, but this is honestly the last time we will eat here. This time we ordered food to go and they told us our order would be ready at 7. I got to the restaurant to pick up my order, and the hostess couldn’t find my order ticket and had to ask what I ordered. When she finally found the ticket it seemed like she just put in the order to the kitchen and walked off and didn’t tell me how long the wait would be. Seven people got their take out orders before me and I ended up waiting there for 40 minutes. When I told the waitress I was upset that I was never told how long my food would take, all she said was she thought someone informed me how long it would be and didn’t say anything else. Every time I have gone to eat at Siam, I have been patient with the staff, but I will never eat here again due to the blatant disregard of customer service and lack of organization this place has.
I ordered the red curry with beef, tom yum soup, wonton soup, and poh peah tod - chicken fried spring roll. All of it was wonderful. The vegetables in the curry were fresh and firm, the spring rolls were crispy, and the wontons were tender yet able to hold together nicely. I only recommend the tom yum soup if you like some bite to your soup, and if you like mushrooms and tomatoes.Id say the curry sauce is slightly thinner than other ones Ive tried, but still very flavorful. I wouldnt say thicker sauce is better than thinner - it just all depends on what your preferences are.Ill definitely go back again!

2022-05-13This is the Yellow Curry noodles with scallops. The sauce was amazing. For those who are not as adventurous I do suggest the pad Thai. It was very good. But in terms of substance and taste, I enjoyed this meal. Its sweet and spicy with the curry kick. It is served with flat noddles.

2022-01-24Visited on a Friday night with my daughter. Very friendly staff and service was quick. We started with the fried dumplings which were fantastic. My daughter had house noodles with chicken. Large portion and she loved it.I had the sesame beef and had a hard time putting down my fork. Another large portion that was outstanding.Nothing to change. It was a great experience!

2022-02-26Incredible country-based home flavored Thai cooking. Hearty, healthy, gluten-free, filling with leftovers to go, great service, and an excellent ambiance. Our appetizer and both entrees were absolutely five star rating.Sadly, for us, the Bangkok Mule missed the flavor mark.

2021-11-07Dropped in for lunch and had to say it didn’t quite impress me being Thai and tasted quite a few Thai restaurants in the States. Decor and seating area is nice beside having difficult finding parking space. The Tom Yam Hot Pot was not on the lunch menu but they were able to make it. Too sweet and not enough lemon taste that comes with good Tom Yam soup. The stir fried Basil was also too sweet with too much black soy sauce; not your authentic way of making stir fried Basil. Ingredients were really off.Still not bad if you are looking for something different to a sandwich, burger or pizza for lunch. Just don’t expect it to taste Thai style authentic.

2022-03-26Been coming for 3 years, usually love their food and usually have nothing to complain about, however my most recent take out experience was concerning. My sesame tofu turned out to be sesame chicken. Didn’t realize until I took a bite unfortunately. This is a dietary concern and I would just triple check what you are served.

2022-06-05I ordered Yum Won Sen (Seafood salad) and Larb Moo (pork). Both were too sweet and came with holy basil which is not common. Also the larb moo was made with pieces of pork instead of ground pork. I spent 9 years in Thailand and had these from many different places around the world and never saw them prepared this way. I asked if the cook was Thai and was told he was and it would be original Thai style.Would have been 1 star but got a lot of shrimp with the yum won sen.

2021-10-01We love Taste of Siam. We discovered this gem a couple of months ago and eat here a couple of times a month. The food is great and so is the service. Give it a try!

2021-08-26Been awhile since Ive been here but the food is always good since they were on hertel avenue.Started out with papaya salad and yellow curry scallops. The papaya salad was as good as I remember spicy hot as I asked. The scallops curry was also a home run.Its funny when youre not near a place and then you go back and its still as good as it ever was. Friendly restaurant bar.

2022-05-07Undoubtedly the best Thai I have tried in the Elmwood area. The drunken noodles here are superb and they actually spice up your food when you ask them to which is perfect for me.They offer lunch specials also that are amazing. On weekends they get so busy that it’s even hard to get takeout but good for them because they’re doing something right over there.

2022-05-07Unfortunately, not the best experience considering the positive reviews. The restaurant and dining area looked haggard from the start. Our service was a little haphazard as well; each of the servers would scramble to different tables and there was a lot of food and cutlery being dropped. Some dishes, like the Pad Thai, were excellent, but overall some of the ingredient choices were questionable, the sauces were not the best (many were too sweet), and there was a small quantity of meat provided in the dishes. The curries, in particular, were strangely thin and stuffed with items like green beans and zucchini. I did like the selection of Asian beers, and since the prices were reasonable, the noodle or rice dishes might be better for takeout.
