The line are long customers service AJ is very rude & nonchalant as if he does not want to be at work. Even though they say open on weekend for the publics convenience. It usually only 2 people handle customers. This location is slow it about 45 minute wait. While other employee are looking pass customers or standing around having conversation with each other. There are never any checking deposit slips available in the front for customers convenience there are different reasons why customers doesnt have or want a bank card. At least make it convenient for customers to come do transactions.
I really didn’t want to give them a star but it’s the only way to write a review. They are really slow.. I was waiting for like two hours just to get them to unlock my account. They kept walking away and getting up.. like they didn’t have people waiting on them.. it smelled really bad and people had there shoes off. One lady kept repeating, “ thanks for being Patient, we will be with you shortly”. Plus the tellers kept talking to each other. This is sooooo great for business TD so great.
This is literally the worst TD Bank Branch I have ever entered. The wait is always over 30 minutes. I waited 45 minutes to replace my debit card, just for them to tell me the machine wasn’t working. The ATM machines have force deposited my checks on 3 different occasions.
Worst experience at a bank hands down! As soon as you walk in people speak to you with a nasty attitude. Especially a clerk named Sparkle, she is the rudest bank teller I’ve ever came across. She was extremely abrasive and just seemed like it was bothering her to do her job. DO NOT BANK WITH THEM!
It doesn’t matter what time I come to the most convenient location in Brooklyn, there’s always a line and two tellers and maybe three people at a desk for other services. No parking that is accessible to wait on line as long as they have you waiting. You might as well pay a parking garage for half the day because that’s how long you wait. I only have them one star because the only thing they give is good service when you finally get to see someone.
TD bank is horrible. I have a business account with them which I will be closing. I couldnt log into my account so I called them and since I couldnt answer their bogus questions (what/where/ when was the last purchase you made, I almost never use the debit card so I had no idea). Now Im locked out of my account and the only way to settle it is to go in person. This branch is ALWAYS jam packed with people waiting around to talk to someone. You will wait HOURS in line for a banker. I wish I could give TD Bank -5 stars.
Horrible service! You say Hi or Hello they move their heads. Look like they are doing a favor to you answering important questions to you. Just close my account, going straight back to Chase.The worst Agency in NYC. If you need anything important go to another agency in Manhattan. Chealsea is a good location.
One staff person on cashier. Wait was 15 min, for three people online for cashier, and same for change machine to be emptied, for two people waiting. Only go to TD if you have twenty minutes and do work on your phone, or make calls while waiting for the line to move. The staff are courteous and treat folks with respect, so it offsets the delays. Im betting that this bank must get heat about the delays, cuz I was heated and let it be known.
The service is horrible. I wish i can give zero. They were rude. I was on line for 40 min but they took care of people who ever they wanted to help. When i talk to the maneger she told me that they were busy and they have diffrent account then mine. They habe bussiness accout!!! But i saw they have same accout as me. It shouldnt matter what account they have they should treat all customers equally. Its a shame that TD bank customer service sucks.
Never happy going into this branch. This is a major area of commerce therefore, the bank should be adequately manned to handle the amount of traffic coming through. Its disappointing and agonizing going in there. I go way out of my way to other branches just to get timely service. When this area is FULLY GENTRIFIED, there WILL be upgrades in service because THEY will not allow sub-standard service like WE do...SMH
I don’t think I ever went to a bank this horrible and slow. I was waiting for one hour to see a banker to open an account, there were 7 people ahead of me according to the qiosk. No one got helped within that hour that I was there. I got frustrated and went across the street to Chase and opened an account in less than 5 mins! The location was so unorganized and dirty!
Its probably faster for you to go into the city to a bank to do what you need to do here. Always packed, no organization, some staff is slow and bad at communication, and after waiting for an hour they ended up not even connecting my card to the right account and I had to call again afterwards. Waste of time, dont come here.
Every single TD bank employee was just hanging out. I mean strolling to get the new bank information. Seriously slow pacing, one of them was actually just chit chatting with clients while 4 people waited to get served. Idle chat, i was right next to them. They dont answer the phone, you dont even know where to sign in, you have to ask the cop because hes the only one in there with a clue. I have never been to such an unprofessional bank.
The Worst bank!... ive been a member since commerce bank before the name changed to T.D, this is by far yhe worst bank ive been to. I am not sure if its the area that its in but one teller for 10 to 15 people is ridiculous!. No urgency, then the manager walks in with another young lady and looks as if he could care less about the line of people waiting or even worse his employee who has to deal with all the fustrated customers. You guys need to do better as a company and a service provider. If this were a different area im sure the service would be alot better.... utterly disappointed!
THE WORST TD BANK I EVER BEEN TO IN MY WHOLE ENTIRE LIFE!! Every other day the ATM machines are broke! Only one working! Like this is the absolute worst! I only come here because it’s close to my house. You think they would have enough sense to add more tellers to the line but no.
I needed a document notarized. I checked in and told the person at the front I needed a notary. I waited for 40 minutes, almost till closing, when she told me that they didnt have a notary there. She sent me to another nearby branch, I made it just before closing ... their notary had been gone for an hour before I got there. She sent me there without even checking if their notary was still there.
Always a longline in this branch. I spoke to the manager about it he apologized and said he was trying to get new people but they havent been trained and it takes a long time to train them. I went in 6 months later mentioned it to him again & again he gave the same excuse I had to remind him that we had this conversation before.
Dont trust the staff, they dont know what theyre explaining most of the time. I will recommend going to a different branch if youre faithful to td, or trusting another bank with funds thats more informed and reliable. Also, dont come to this location unless you want to waste your time with half-answers.
The wait and line was extremely long. I had to see an associate which required me to sign in. After waiting 45 minutes and realizing that a guy that came in long after me received assistance, I asked for a manager and finally got someone to help me. Unfortunately you have to get management involved in order to get results.👎🏼👎🏼
Horrible customer service. I came in to open a new account, but will be choosing to go elsewhere. Waited two hours in line after checking in while people who arrived way after me were helped right away, some without checking in. After still not receiving service, I left. Will take my business elsewhere and recommend that others do the same.
For a Sunday service seemed to be efficient, but I found this branch to be filthy. The carpet in the entry ATM area had all sorts of paper on the floor as well as the main space for the bank with the security desk in site of it. Do you need a maintenance title to sweep it up!!
The worst customer service of all the branches in NYC. One Teller behind the counter working while 20 to 30 individuals impatiently wait. The police officer on post even looked agitated by the multitude of people that gathered over the course of my 45 minute wait. Piss poor management, horrible maintenance and just an overall terrible experience.
Wish I could give it zero stars. That Place is the worst I had an issue with my account and the person that was “supposed” to help me did the opposite said there was nothing she can do to help and was on her phone the majority of the time Deff don’t recommend this location to anyone you’re better off going to another location
I’ve just gotten my bank card not even 6 months an I’m having a lot of problems with this bank , it took my card twice & when I tried to buy items at rite aid on Thursday & just now when I tried to use it the screen said my pin was wrong twice when In fact I just changed it an wrote my password down asap just so I wouldn’t forget .
Sheesh ...If I could give this bank no stars bit theres no option for that ....like the other negative reviews Im confirming its true this bank is just terrible . VERY SLOW .... its like they have 4 people working in here and the other people are hiding in the bank . Next time I know to go to Manhattan this Brooklyn location is terrible ...repeat DONT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO WASTE YOUR TIME..
THIS IS THE SLOWEST BANK ON EARTH, WITH ONLY 2 ATM. THE TELLERS ARE ALITTLE OKAY BUT THE OTHER STAFF ARE ALL SLOW LIKE TURTLES. WAITING TIME IS FROM ATLEAST 1 HOUR AND A HALF. ONE WHITE GUY WITH GLASSES WAS NICE ENOUGH TO GAVE ME SOME INFORMATION WHICH DIDNT HELP SO I REQUESTED TO SEE ANDREW, WHICH HE CARES LESS N HAVE SO MUCH ATTITUDE WHILE WAITING TO SEE HIM. ALMOST 2 HOURS HE STILL WOULD NOT CALL ME AS HE KNOW I REQUESTED TO SEE HIM, THE SLOWEST OF ALL, AS THE PERSON NEXT TO ME WAITING FELL ASLEEP SNORING LOUDLY, I GOT UP AND JOINED THE TELLER LINE SINCE I WAS GETTING HUNGRY AND TIRED. THE TELLER HELP WHICH I WAS SURPRISED IN DOING THE OTHERS JOB INSTEAD. AMIT, WASNT WORKING THAT DAY. HE IS ONE OF THE BEST STAFF THERE. HOPE HE BECOMES THE MANAGER. HE HELPS ALOT AND KNOW HIS JOB WELL. LOOKING FORWARD OF NOT GOING THERE FOR BUSINESS. TD BANKS ARE THE WORST AND THE SLOWEST BANK FOR BUSINESS.
This is one of the worst places for u yo have your money last week I cashed my check with the proper Id thus week I come back to the branch they tell me that they cant cash my check cause its not proper Id well what is it proper or not well any way after 20 min the fool cashed it never will I be banking in TD bank again

Was told I could get a printout of my account statement y waiting online then after waiting online The teller tells me she can only go back a couple of months. 50 minutes later nobody was still able to help me just get a simple print out and now I was an hour late for work

2021-07-23If you live in the area, you already know this Branch is Small for the amount of Traffic that comes through Day in & Day out. With that said, I have always received great customer service & respect. Today a Representative named Michael assisted me, while multi tasking in helping other colleagues & customers. Even in an overwhelming situation, Michael stayed Very Professional & efficient in helping me with my accounts & Business.

2021-04-01My experience at the March Ave Location was my BEST experience with TD Bank yet! I have only had TD about 5 months and I had been having a lot of issues with the service provided to the point I was about to close my account. Yesterday I called customer service trying to get an appointment the same day to open my Business Account for my PPP loan, I was told no appointments were available. I went to this branch anyway, and I ran into Randall Atkinson who was helping another client but took 10 mins to hear me out. He then gave me an appointment about a hour later and I was able to successfully set up my Business account and received my PPP loan this morning! Without him I would not have been able to receive my loan, which my business really needed!I’m super grateful for his help and the time he gave my situation. A really nice guy!

2021-02-13I’m very surprised to see such negative reviews for this bank. I’ve been banking at this TD location since 2016. I recently moved to Brooklyn Heights and had to utilize the branch near my new home...well, it was a horrible experience and they were completely incompetent (at the Montague Street location) and I decided to call the Marcy Ave branch to see if they could help me change my name on my account (I got married) even though I currently do not have an updated ID due to the DMV being booked up for appointments...i had every other required document except for the new ID; luckily for me the manager ok’d the name change and was totally fine with me only having my marriage license, updated ss card, birth certificate, and old ID. The woman who helped me was incredible...very nice, helpful, professional, understanding and competent. She was absolutely awesome. I highly recommend this branch. I’ve had nothing but great experiences here. Don’t listen to the bad reviews, seriously!! This is a great branch with excellent staff. Even though I’ll have to travel, I will only be going to this branch if I need to go inside and talk with a teller or banker from now on because they really are the best!!

2018-12-04Truthfully deserves 0 stars if there was such a thing. Horrible customer service. I walked in to deposit money into my account and all atm’s we’re out of service. Such a disgrace. This would never happen in a predominantly Caucasian neighborhood. There were still customers inside being serviced and I asked to be let in due to the fact that I was being inconvenienced. The manager refused to let me in. I had bills to pay and chose not to go to the ATM near my job in Chelsea to patronize the branch in my neighborhood.. Big mistake. I will be closing my account with TD bank. Absolutely disrespectful to loyal customers!

2019-10-23This place is awful. Soooooo incredibly slow. No one was friendly to me like they say in he commercials so much. It’s like the purposefully move slow, if they had a person helping the line move along that would’ve helped. Also there is no reason there should be 1 person at their desk talking to a client for over 40 minutes or they’re over 10 people waiting in line now.
