Mr. Terezakis has done an outstanding job for me as my Immigration AND my Criminal Defense Attorney.I was in removal proceedings by DHS because of my previous criminal record and on top of that I had violated my green card, so there was absolutely no chance of me staying in the United States - it was a 100% deportation for me (atleast thats what my first lawyer told me). When Mr. Terezakis took over my case he gave me and my family hope by being straight forward with us and informing us on what could and could not be done in my particular case. George Terezakis and his team are amazing. They really go above and beyond with the families they work with to provide quality legal expertise in order to help immigrant families remain together and be reunited. I observed every court appearance for one of Mr. Terezakis’ clients. I dealt with him directly. I dealt with several employees directly. I hired Mr. Terezakis after my husband was taken in by ICE in 2015 and released 6 months later on 2016, My husbands case was very complicated since it dealt with a aggravated felony crime. He worked along with a federal criminal attorney (Mr. Gary Schoer) to lower the charge and have a better outcome on his immigration case at court. My husband and I worked with George and his team throughout a 3 year criminal/immigration case. Throughout the entire time George and his team were extremely thorough and told us the expectations. My husband and I came to the Terezakis Law Firm in May of 2010 after we had been to two other immigration lawyers. We had originally came to just re-apply for his TPS. My husbands case was quite complicated. The staff were very knowledgeable & patient.There were many steps we had to take before we could re-apply for the TPS. We were advised to request my husbands full immigration file. Upon receiving this they had realize that there were (3) Alien numbers for him all with different information.The first task was to merge all (3) Alien numbers into one case, which was completed.The second task we had ahead of us was to go to Federal Plaza and to be interviewed to prove that we were a legitimate couple. Mr. Terezakis and his staff had prepared us with what questions would be asked & what to bring (photos, tax returns, affidavit letters, etc.). We went into the interview confidently with Mr. Terezakis by our side. The interviewer asked us only (3) questions because he stated he had more than enough information from years ago that adequately demonstrated we were a legitimate couple. We passed with flying colors.The next task was that Mr. Terezakis had to go before a judge to have my husbands case administratively closed in order for us to apply for this new law that was coming out which was the I601A. This administrative closure was approved.The next long daunting task was to apply for the I601A and making sure that we met all requirements. This was the most arduous process, but we were well prepared with what information we needed to obtain. We got together over 6 years worth of information, photos, letters from family & friends and financial information. Based upon the guidelines for applying for this new program, Mr. Terezakis, my husband and others involved felt confident with sending in the case. Unfortunately, we were denied, which came as a shock to all of us. But, this sometimes happens even though we provided a strong case. Mr. Terezakis was truly upset for us. That next day I was in his office crying because I felt hopeless, not to mention every time you submit something to the government, there is a fee associated with this.Mr. Terezakis knew we had a strong case and wanted us to reapply. We did not want to reapply right away because the process was taxing, we were afraid of being denied again and we did not have the money to do this a second time. Mr. Terezakis said while we were rethinking about reapplying, for me to at least go and see this Psychologist Dr. Stephen Reich. Dr. Reichs expert medical opinion was used to show how I would suffer undue hardship if my husband was not here. Dr. Reich was a godsend. He was costly, but worth his weight in gold. He too concurred that Mr. Terezakis was putting together an airtight case and that he too also felt we should have never been denied to begin with.We waited a few months after seeing Dr. Reich before we decided to reapply. During this time Mr. Terezakis always called and emailed us to check in. The reason he did this was a) we had been working with him for so long that he was concerned we were making the wrong decision by not reapplying and b) he was genuinely concerned.During this time my husband and I prayed constantly. Our faith is very important to us and sometimes we just had to sit still and wait.We reapplied in July 2016. Shortly after we received the notice that they received our case. Less than a month after we received a notice that my husband had to complete his biometrics (fingerprints).Finally, on January 3, 2017 my husbands case was APPROVED!The reason for this long review was to show just how much work, time and preparation went into the handling of our case.Mr. Terezakis will work hard for you, BUT you must be willing to do the work too. He is worth his weight in Gold! Everything that they said they would do, they have done.We have a few more steps to complete before we leave the country, but I am confident that God placed Mr. Terezakis in our lives and my husband will receive his Greencard!

There are not enough words to describe how much of a blessing Mr. Terezakis and his staff are to us!!! My husband and I were referred to him 3 years ago. Our past experiences with other immigration lawyers had been awful and we had lost all hope. I had an excellent experience with Mr. Terezakis.I am a legal permanent resident who has lived in the US for 30 years with my wife and daughter who is now 25. Many years ago, the government decided to seek deportation for a conviction I had in the past. It was then, that i was referred to and retained Mr. Terezakis to represent me in my case.For 10 plus years, Mr. Terezakis was very diligent and stayed with the case. Our immigration judge was very hard and wouldnt treat me fairly but George still stuck with the case. Our judge placed a deportation order 2 times, and both times George was able to stop the deportation. Trial after Trial, appeal after appeal, until we finally won our case and immigration granted the waiver.He handled himself very well in court, and was very knowledgeable about the legal issues. It also helped that he was fluent in spanish, so an interpreter was not needed.George answered our questions professionally, and was easily accessible. I heartedly recommend George Terezakis as an effective immigration lawyer. After months of persistent and forceful work, George Terezakis was successful in winning my godson, a Mexican native, an order of withholding from deportation. Now my godson lives in the United States legally and has a work permit. My godson’s case was extremely complicated and needed to bring together documentation of hospital records, testimony of intimidation and harm experienced by him, journalistic writing and organizations’ reports of pervasive violence that posed real threats to my godson, and criminal dispositions of his misdemeanors. George Terezakis was able to integrate so much information into a coherent picture in order to present the real dangers that faced my godson. All of this hard work took a tremendous amount time, hours of dedicated resources from his legal team to do research and bolster court findings, and multiple court hearings. During this entire process, George Terezakis never gave up but worked even harder to gain a successful outcome for my godson. Due to my lack of funds, I was unable to pay for a lawyer to represent my godson. I spoke with the legal department of the Legal Aid Society and other community-based organizations that represent immigrants pending deportation in the courts. In speaking with about 30 of these good-willed legal departments, I was told that although my godson’s case had merit, they could not represent him for such reasons as the particular type of court he was in, that the case was too complex, that the organization did not have the staff to handle the research and document gathering required, and/or were simply overwhelmed with too many cases. Initially, a kind priest tried to help, filing petitions to the court and having a series of pro bono lawyers represent him in court. Unfortunately, the petition was incomplete and the lawyers showed up without knowing the case. This process dragged out the case for months without any real progress. When George Terezakis took the case, the entire case was managed anew. The court petition was resubmitted with much for pertinent information, the legal staff spent hours to get relevant information to build up the case, George Terezakis worked with and consulted with my godson and myself every step of the way, he and his staff answered all of my questions about the case with patience and compassion, and George Terezakis was skillful in defending my godson in the court. He won my godson’s difficult case. My godson is the only family I have and I take care of him. George Terezakis took care of my godson as I would myself and he has both enabled him to remain with me and remain in a safer place.
Hi. I found George through my friend who had a felony for a drug sale aggravated felony. He was facing deportation. George was able to convince the judge and the DA to reduce his charges to a non-deportable offence. The guys deportation case was dismissed, and he went home from jail. I was very impressed with this, so I decided to hire mr. Terezakis. He isnt cheap, but we all know we get what we pay for. And immigration matters isnt something you want to save a couple of bucks on, and nothing gets done in the end - I wouldnt risk it. I would prefer to spend a little more, but have a greater chance of winning my case. So I was also facing deportation. George was able to reduce my deportable crime to a non-deportable crime, and after the immigration judge vacated my deportation proceedings. So now I am eligible to apply for citizenship - which I am doing with help of G. Terezakiss office - I am not taking any chances that I am denied citizenship - again - this time around.I hope I wont need any of his services in the future, but if I do, he will be my go to attorney. He is a nice person, and pleasure to work with.

He say he was going to represent us , but he fail and we paid him in advance, when we went to court he wasnt there and didnt called he charge us 1500,00 to help us with a minor violation that actually was dismissed... He could it have just show off and look good... If you are Korean, check it out. I wrote it on purpose for you to see.I just got Green Card and it took 2years. Since the Pandemic everything is slow so I’m fine with that. I found him on google after seeing 3 more lawyers I paid for the consulting time and I am very proud what I did. There’re many good lawyers reviewed well like Terezaki. If your case us simple and easy you just can choose one if them. But if your case is complicated and puzzled then you better see him before you decide your laywer. What the most impressive one when I was there to consult my case, they usually handle hard cases like criminal and deportation. But what I saw was they look like making successful stroies about the green card. You might also have a chance to see other clients while you waiting and listen how they screwed their own history. Nontheless they got green card. I think I visited their office 4-5 times for the papers their office asked me and saw 2 people waiting to get their green cards that day. They were smiling and told me they are very happy. And finally it happened to me. I don’t know how much can I appreciate his good job. Thanks again. If there’s anyone looking for a lawyer and not sure who is good for your case, I can tell you just look what kinds of cases he’s handling. I don’t have any criminal issues or records but my case was also screwed due to my mistake. So seeing a regular immigration lawyers meant nothing. They told me you can stay here 7 years more or let’s just try. That was all. I got a deportation order from USCIS and Terezaki saved me. After having gone to several lawyers to try to avoid my deportation, I came to the conclusion that many lawyers just want easy cases so as not to have to work too hard, because of everyone who visits, nobody wanted to take my case and they told me there was nothing that they could do so because my case was extremely difficult and that they were surprised that they had not deported me even after having been convicted of two felonies and having been in jail for eight months it was impossible for anyone to help me but as the only one who has The last word is God I found George Terezakis. Which warned me that the case was indeed very difficult but that I was going to do my best to help me. 2020-10-05Perhaps the thing that impressed me most about George Terezakis was that nothing was sugar coated. He was very straight forward and kept us informed of each step, what the options were and what the risks were as well. There were no empty promises made to us which I know sometimes occurs when seeking counsel. His entire staff is top-notch!! They are always professional and easy to talk to. My husband is a client that had a very complex immigration case facing removal proceedings. 5 years ago when coming back home from a family vacation an unexpected stop at the airport put my husband a permanent resident for 28 years in removal proceedings due to a past legal issue he though was resolved. My husband’s case is now successfully resolved, He is able to remain in the U.S. with his 2 sons and wife. In addition he will be able to become a USA citizen very soon.
