Texas Roadhouse in other cities:
Great food usually...On my Birthday, we went out to eat at Texas RoadHouse in Kingston. Being that I was born on 4/20 , the place was packed! We were told it would be 15 to 20 minutes wait for table. After over an hour, we were just leaving when they called our table! Then we waited almost another hour to get our food which showed up so salty that all I could think of was that someone must have quit, and salted Everything on their way out! It was literally uneatable. They treated us Great! We were apologized to profusely! And werent charged for our meals. Also, they gave us $30.00 gift coupons for next time!! Way to make it Right! Thank You Texas RoadHouse😎
We usually receive good service and decent food here. My wife and I were out and havent been here in a while so we decided to stop for dinner. The restaurant was not very busy and we were escorted to a table. This young lady took our orders and brought a basket of rolls and our drinks. My salad was brought by another employee. After quite some time yet a different employee checked on us and got me a drink refill. Quite a while later yet another employee brought our order. My wife had 6 oz sirloin, baked potato and broccoli. She said hers was good. I had the salad, country fried sirloin and mashed potatoes with gravy. My potatoes tasted like instant, the meat did not have much taste. Quite some time later yet another employee came and I requested a box for leftovers. She returned with it but not the receipt. Several more minutes she brought that and I paid. With so many employees it was unknown who would get the tip. I left my usual 20 percent, but was not really pleased to do so.Hopefully this was just an off night.
I had a cactus onion which is basically just a blooming onion. It was okay. I also had a cheeseburger they used real good well seasoned meat. It was a decent sized Burger. The leftovers I had for breakfast and the burger was still slamming. I did not attempt to eat the cactus onion again.
No labels on their cuts of steak behind the glass. I asked the girl behind the glass which row was Ribeye so that I could make my choice. She turned her back on me and that was that. My wife and I ended up going to Five Guys where we were greeted with a smile. No comparison to Texas Roadhouse food but Ill drive to Poughkeepsie Texas Roadhouse tomorrow for great customer service.
I love Texas roadhouse. This time i got chicken critters, mashed potatoes, corn, and a cactus blossom. My daughter got mac and cheese. We ate tons of those delicious buns! Had some left overs to take home. All of the food was great, our server was awesome, we had a good time. Not sure what the servers name was but he was very attentive. He brought refils when he noticed the drinks were low.
REESE was our Waitress!!! She gets 5 STARS!! THANK YOU REESE!! EXCELLENT JOB! Its nice to have a Waitress take their time and make you feel at home!! The food was excellent!! 12 people in our party for my Daughters 12th Birthday!! It is so nice to be waited on with a friendly smile (behind her mask)!!! The servers and bus people were rushing to much and dont listen...hurrying to fast with dropping food off! If you want to leave feeling you were treated perfectly...ask to have Reese as your Waitress!!!
Went to the Roadhouse for dinner for the first time, so I wasnt sure what to expect... it didnt disappoint.Even with masks, you could see smiles on the staffs faces, and our server was extremely amicable.I started off with a cup of chilli, which was absolutely delicious. Just spicy enough to give a zing, but not too spicy. For the main course i had the beef tips. On the menu they state you can order them cooked to spec, i asked for medium-rare they came medium to medium-well, but they were still tender and juicy, so Im not docking points for that. The mashed potatoes that came with the meal were delicious as was the broccoli. All in all, for a meal under $20, you leave really full. They could afford to keep the floors and the bathroom cleaner though.
Really fun ambiance. As you walk in they ask if you would like to choose your cut of meat! If its your first time, they talk you through the menu and are very patient and answer all questions. The portions are healthy. The dinner rolls are delicious and the peanuts are super fun to have on the table.
Restaurant makes everything from scratch in an industrial scale, which is impressive. It all starts with the “meet the meat” ritual in which you select the filet which will be your dinner (the waitress did not then specify that other menu options are available, like ribs and burgers). Bread rolls taste sweetened, with sweetened butter, but are the pinnacle of freshness. Fifteen-minute wait at 4:30pm for a party of three, but the restaurant does take pre-seating reservations by telephone. You can also pay your check by smartphone, which helps the customer and optimizes labor. Overall, good food at good value.
As I walked into the restaurant I was greeted by a person named Frank. I said hello to him and he looked at me like I had two heads. He immediately wanted to seat us so I had to stop him and tell him that I wanted to pick a steak from the window. I told him that he should greet people with a hello when they enter the premises. Not to friendly. Jimmy our server was exceptional. Truly knowledgeable, informative and courteous. Hey Frank you should learn a few pointers from him. Oh yeah the food was exceptional.
I cant say enough good things about this place, from their support of veterans ( like me), to great food, great prices and so forth. Always one of the best values for your dollar, especially if you like steak. We got the dinner for two, which included an appetizer and your choice of 4 different entrees. Our steaks were cooked to perfection. $43. For a large chain, these people have it figured out.
I have an umbilical hernia and they placed us at a booth. The table was pressing against it and becoming uncomfortable and I didnt want to say anything and bug the waitress, but she was super observant and noticed my discomfort and immediately got us switched to a table. Also, the steak I ordered was fantastic, and my husband really liked his burger too.
I frequent here quite a bit but tonight was very disappointing. Our sever Morgan was great. Drinks and appetizers came out very fast but after sitting and waiting for an hour and fifteen minutes out food never came out. After talking to the server and asking for the check the manager finally came out and with no apology gave us our food. Very disappointing.
Wife and I stopped for a quick bite after doing some last minute Christmas shopping. Restaurant was crowded with a 15 to 20 minute wait....not bad. Decided to just go to the bar. Was greeted by very friendly bartender. Received nice cold drinks and a well prepared dinner in a timely manner. Didnt feel rushed...enjoyed some small talk with other patrons while relaxing. Price was just right...all in all a really nice night out at Texas Roadhouse. Will definitely be back again.
One of my favorite restaurant’s to eat at. Very clean inside which made me happy to see with COVID still being an issue. The manager came by to make sure everything was okay with our service and it makes you feel like they really care about you. Our waiter was great very nice and had knowledge of the menu. Highly recommend this restaurant if you want a good place to eat BBQ food.
This place is fun to eat at. The food was incredible! I cant say enough about this place. They really know how to cook a steak. The sides were awesome also. The staff was fast and friendly. My kids found something to eat off of the menu that they enjoyed also. This is a great place for the whole family.
This location was great. It was made better because of the service we received from Nicole. She was friendly, attentive, and very helpful. The beers were ice cold and the steaks were perfectly cooked!! Kudos to the whole crew because it his is definitely one of the better Roadhouses!!
Stopped there to eat because we were on a long road trip and was the only place around open at the time. Got seated fairly quick. Server was polite and somewhat attentive. Ordered apps and dinner. Half the apps came and the other was forgotten to give us till end of dinner. Diner came out and our sides did not come out till later. Kept asking the waiter for the missing items and she seemed annoyed with us. Last time i go to this establishment.
My husband odered the pulled pork which he tried to eat but just could not, 3 bites and he stopped eating it. To me it looked like it was cooked to the point that it was dried out. I dont eat meat so I chose the vegetable combo and avoided the vegies with butter and or bacon, so I was happy with my food. Since my husband chose here to eat, I am giving it just 1 star. He was not pleased that he was not asked what was wrong with his food.
Good food! My steak was just right! And my waitress was very pleasant and helpful with service and menu options. After a long day of moving furniture, my coworkers and I wanted to have a healthy, fulfilling meal and we were all very happy and satisfied! We were however, a bit disappointed, and disgusted with the dishes served with the fresh buns, they were dirty, our cool waitress made sure to quickly exchange them upon request! 😀
I went out to dinner with my family to one of my favorite restaurants! So we were seated got our drinks and realize that we got the same waitress as weve had before which she was good. And then we opened our silverware to cut our rolls and applying our cinnamon sauce on it and our silverware was covered and dry food I had asked the waitress if she could get us new she had gotten us new seven times and every single time they were dirty so then she went back to get us more silverware and then came back and said I polish them myself dont worry about it you dont have to complain anymore. Like really who in the right mind even as a waitress and customer service should not be talking to a customer like that. So then we got our actual meal and I receive a steak with shrimp and a salad with broccoli and everything on my plate literally had almost a bottle of salt on it I told her I did not want it and they said they would remove it off of my receipt but then they added on stuff on my receipt. That was the worst experience ever had a Texas Roadhouse in Kingston New York
Excellent visit on a blustery Sunday afternoon. Came in for a late lunch, and even though it was slow, was treated with big smiles and happy staff. Waitress was spot on, attentive yet not bothersome and was excellent overall. Food was great as always, though I had to remind myself not to keep eating the rolls and save room for the actual meal.
Danielle, a waitress here, was one of the funniest things Ive witnessed in a while, she was cracking dry humor jokes and just being really real the entire time! The food is phenomenal, and I wish that everyone who comes here have a very wonderful time, comparable to mine.
Good food. Husband had the burger 1/2 pound. Delicious. I had a combo of steak & ribs. Appreciate that combo. Steak was ok, choice of course. Ribs were yummy. Didnt overdo the barbecue sauce. Good service. Liked the warm rolls. Price what youd expect. Mid range. Our meal with 3 on tap beers was $50.
Just ate here for my sons bday on 8/2. My wife ordered her steak well done. When it came out it was bright red. The manager took it back and then it took another 20 min. When she brought it back everyone else was done eating and she offered no apologies and acted like it was almost an inconvenience. I eat at texas roadhouse on a regular basis but may now consider someplace else going forward. Really disappointing for a bday dinner.
I want to thank everyone who works at this place. I also want to acknowledge how well everyone worked together tonight. My husband and I do not think much about Valentines day but we forgot to take food out and found ourselves among the crowds. The service was impeccable and the food delicious. Thank you for everything tonight.
The hostess was very nice and took care of us appropriately. Our server Mike was nice but curt. Kept our drinks filled and quickly brought out any extra sauce for food. Cactus blossom was good and so was salad and broccoli. My dates steak was cooked perfectly, but unfortunately mine was completely overcooked. Mike only checked about my steak when he saw i had placed it near the edge of the table. I let him know that it was overcooked and instead of offering to make it right and recook it or fix it, he only offered to box it up to take home. That was enough to sour the rest of the meal, but i guess my dog will have an expensive dinner tonight.
Perfect blend of fun and professional staff with great steak and southern country charm. The kitchen pays great attention to detail and food is always served promptly and seasoned perfectly. I especially appreciate their support for our US military service members. An absolute must try
The food is ok. 4 stars. But the pickup service is at 2 stars. I have been to this location twice in a month. Both times they missed a piece of my order. Both times requested forks and knives, but they did not put it in. This last time we had an order for 7 people. Picked it up, 5 minutes later I get a call that they missed 2 items. Ok. No big deal, turn around, get it. Thanks for the call! But once we get back to the hotel we find out they missed other items.
I frequent this location regularly and I normally rave about the food and service. Today is a sad exception to the normal. We were seated within 2 minutes of arrival , waitress was attentive, place order with an appetizer, 45 minutes later entrees arrive , oops forgot the appetizer, enjoying a well prepared meal ,, not 10 minutes into eating , our waitress comes and asks if we would like boxes for our meals , ah no , did you not see the forks in our hands or our chewing with our mouth closed. I am sure our next visit will be a long time off since the service was so poor. Disappointed is not nearly strong enough word gor this experience.
Their chicken portobello dish with the gravy and mozz cheese is TO DIE FOR good!!! Went on birthday celebration with 4 friends, the staff came out and did a birthday Yee Haw! for me and got everyone involved, much to my embarrassment lol. Overall good atmosphere and great food. Will definitely visit again
Love their food! Always consistent, servers always happy. Glad to see it not crowded and social distancing quietly and efficiently handled. I love the brined baked potatoes, I couldnt make one better myself. And steaks always perfect. Great restaurant. Ten stars!!!!!!!!!!❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
After passing up 3 different restaurants because of extensive wait times, we went to our original favorite location.. However once again they messed up my dinner. Ordered the Roadkill as always and for some reason it was a small hamburger size chopped steak, way under cooked. Sent it back and it came back still undercooked. Is it that hard for a chef to used a thermometer. This has now been the second time they have done this in a row. Will definitely think twice about returning there again.
Nicole L was our server and was great! We enjoyed our dinner , a little sad that they were out of our favorite rattle snake bites but overall we left happy and full. It was a nice treat to go out although probably the one and only time for now with COVID but we needed a change :)
OK so over about 2 years ago I gave it a 5 star I am going to read this a 3 star because I did call ahead or order ahead and when I went to the window to pick up my order when it said it was complete on the app that was not the case the young lady said that was your promise time and I said no that is the time I pick to pick up my dinner. I got home my husbands Chile was missing which they willingly replaced. But because of all the problems that I had and the rudeness of the staff member that was waiting on me at the time I feel I have to give the restaurant a 3 star
Hubby and I were really craving texas roadhouse the other day, we at first were pleased with how they seemed to be handling safety during the pandemic. I called and the automatic message said wed have a Q number in the parking lot and that a staff member would come out to bring you in when they had an opening. Well after pulling up realizing, that there was no Q numbers In lot and watching several large groups just walk right in, we decided to leave and not risk it. Pretty sketchy stuff..
We had a great dinner with family. It’s always a nice time here. We don’t go often but it’s fun and good food. A but stay as I don’t use salt but everyone else thought it was fine. You never leave hungry! Good selection for choices and staff is accommodating. Clean and comfy!
Always a favorite whether eating there or getting an order to go. We all have a Go 2 favorite in my house. My favorite is the Smothered Chicken w/Jack Cheese, Loaded Mashed, and Corn. Another MUST is to have one their salads so you can try their House Made dressings. Their Honey Mustard is like nowhere else. I order a large garden salad with extra honey mustard every time I get 2go meals. YUM 😋
Tonight, me and my girlfriend decided to get taxas to go. I have to say that tonight is the deal-breaker. I honestly loved going to the roadhouse, but after our order tonight, Im not going back.We ordered for pickup at 9:15 and got an email at 9:02 that it was ready, well we werent there yet. When we did arrive, the person at the window apologized, but offered no solution to the fact our food was not 15 minutes colder. In addition,Missing gravy on our paper thin country fried chicken, missing sauces, hot wings when we ordered mild (almost only tobacco btw), and a do-it-yourself baked potato. Thats it Im done.4/22/21 webgorder:9040015
My wife and I stood at the front desk waiting to be at the very least greeted for almost 5 minutes. Instead servers walked by pretending to not see us. Finally A GUEST brought it to the attention of bald headed gentleman who proceeded to say that I thought you were picking up. Then asked someone else to sit us. We were sat at a table that wasnt even wiped down or sanitized DURING A PANDEMIC in the corner. The last guests check was still on the table & crumbs on the seat. Then we sat for an additional 7 minutes without even being greeted before we got up and left. As a business owner I could never run a business this way or allow my customers to be treated in this manner. We were prepared to spend $150 in drinks and food during your happy hour. Now I will not step foot in that establishment again. Unacceptable.
It’s always a pleasant experience when we dine here but tonight was exceptional! Just a casual dinner with friends but April, our server, was absolutely top notch! Our meal was delicious and a good time was had by all!Definitely recommend getting a reservation if you’re dining in on a weekend.
The atmosphere is friendly, down-home, and welcoming. Servers are very attentive. Everything is clean. Ribs are mouth-watering, delicious, and fall off the bone without being asked. The steaks are done exactly as you ask, perfectly seasoned, and fresh off the grill. A wonderful surprise was the creative assortment of unique sides and appetizers, some Ive never thought of, others Ive dreamed of, all of which were perfect. If youre craving calories, protein, and the most satisfying meal youll ever eat, stop looking and head here
Ordered for takeout, Donald was the perfect host to assist with the ordering. Very friendly and attentive. He is an asset to his job. My steak was perfectly rare. I prefer crispy green beans but they were flavorful salads were fresh and crispy. Very enjoyable meal, the early dine is the perfect quick order dinner at a good price.
I had dinner tonight and was so disappointed with the food. My steak was so dried out and overcooked. Even the baked potato wasnt good. The broccoli and carrots which are usually very good were so undercooked they were almost warm raw vegetables. The rolls were up to their high standards and our waiter was top notch. Money is so tight this visit was looked forward to and Im kicking myself for spending the money. Ive eaten there before and was satisfied, but tonight, 2 stars for my rating.
Weve eaten there many times because my husband likes ribs. I have always been able to find something I like. We have never had a bad meal, the service is always good, and weve never been disappointed. Only complaint is that it is noisy. Not the place for an intimate dinner for two.
Steak is cooked perfectly as ordered. Fried fish is great but the steak fries are dense and covered in a salty creole season. The chili compliments the bread and sweet butter very well. Limited and uninteresting dressings and dipping sauces. Middle to upper grade ribs.
First off the table seating for six people was very tight and uncomfortable. Are server Michael was not a good server he was very condescending and unpleasant to deal with. Appetizers came quickly and was great. Food came out some time later most of the orders were not made the way we ordered them. How you go to a steakhouse for a good steak and get a overcooked chard crisp dry steak that taste like a overcooked hamburger.
The service was amazing! My boyfriend and I got served by Greg tonight and it was the best experience I’ve had at a restaurant in a long time. He was very helpful in suggesting the best deals and he was very funny. We will definitely be going back soon and asking for Greg! 😁😁😁
Steak was really good I ordered medium well, you could cut it with a butter knife. a little salty tho .my bake potato had salt on the skin.not such a good idea .my husbands spareribs were over done and very dry. with not very good barbecue sauce.and too salty. the peanuts were good but very salty .I asked if they had them with out the salt and they said sorry no we dont. there bread and butter was awesome tho .would I go back again maybe not.
The experience was good. Only thing is I was taught if a place doesnt bring water first to the table it probably not going to have go service. Well inspite of not receiving any water without asking for it the waitress was great she treated us with a warm smile and she answered all the questions with easy.
I really hate to complain about this place, cause in general, I usually like it here. Unfortunately, tonight me and the family stopped by after a movie. The appetizer came out in only a few minutes, which is never a bad thing. But the entrees did not come out with the same speed. It took quite a while to get our food. Once it did come out, my burger was quite a bit over done. I usually dont mind my burger a little over....but a crunchy burger kinda pisses me off. And, if I can make a suggestion to the company....lay off the salt on the veggies. Not everyone likes to eat a salt lick. Especially my 5 year old.
Ordered a large take out birthday dinner June 21st. The bill came to $120 which was fine, EXCEPT: one order was medium well filet medallions with peppercorn sauce. The steak was instead blood rare and they left the sauce out of the order. Sauce free RARE meat I had to cook a bit on my stove. Then they forgot the free birthday appetizer AND gave us blue lemonade instead of regular. For $120 you expect a proper meal. The online order was correct and clear, they just ignored it. Unfortunately, it was too late to bring the medallions back but had we eaten there, it would have been a different story. Very disappointed in a ruined birthday meal. never again.
I have a food allergy so I emailed a nutrition question to corporate (during the restaurants off hours) and received a call back from the manager Kyra, from the location I wanted to frequent, when the opened. She answered my question and then offered alternative suggestions that may make my experience more enjoyable based on what I told her! That clinched us going there! The food was excellent and abundant with so many choices. I cant do conventional bread but my friends said their homade rolls are beyond delicious and were addictive! I loved the peanuts in the shell on the table and the wide selection of alcoholic beverages and beers. The staff that waited on our table was really upbeat and fun and made the experience even better.Only down side if you or a child have sensory issues-it is louder than most restaurants as it is one big open room, therefore there is no walls or barriers to dampen the sound. But if you dont have any issues, get your but there!
Have eaten there since they opened in kingston many times. The regular waiters and waitresses are spot on. However, we took our my son and grandchildren and daughter in law there the last time they visited. Five steaks were ordered and I never got mine.Iwas disappointed. We did have appetizers so after informing our waitress I did not want our guests to wait. I believe she was NEW and should have been trained better or send a more experienced PERSON to serve 6 people.
Youve got to ask for Jennie and tell her that her adopted mother sent you, shell take excellent care of you!!! First time there in awhile and I was pleasantly surprised. Better food and I she didnt push us out, realized it was girls night out and let us sit without pushing us along. Food kept us there, excellent job as well as the bartending. Great, fun new drinks that Jennie will help you select.
REALLY busy on a Saturday night. Id call ahead for a table or be prepared to wait. Once you get a table though, the service is pretty quick. The food is really good and portions are very large. The rolls and honey cinnamon butter they give you is addictive. Nice, loud, casual ambiance. Good place to take the kids if they cant be quiet in a nicer restaurant. What I love most is that the kids menu has stuff outside of the usual chicken nuggets and fries that most places have. Theyve got steak and ribs in kid-sized portions! Veggie options for sides (in additional to fries, mashed potatoes, etc). What kid can say no to green beans when there is BACON in it?!
I like Texas Roadhouse. They have lunch specials if you get there before a certain hour (might have been before 3pm). Their food is tasty. I especially like their fried pickles appetizer. They give free peanuts while you wait to be seated and at the table, so if you like peanuts its great. Definitely not the place to be for anyone allergic to peanuts (the peanut dust is everywhere). I found the service to be good overall. Its a family favorite.
Spent 2 hours here for lunch. 2 hours! We didnt have to wait to be seated just to make that clear. It was busy but not over the top. We waited longer for the check then we did our food. I feel like I lost most of my day and the food was meh. Stale bread, tough steak and waiting for the check was literally an eternity.
I had the country fried sirloin. I am not a picky person at all, however it was very very dry it was over done. On a brighter note did chili was excellent that was one of my sides. After we left I wish I had gone to the Barclay Heights Diner where the food is always great.
This was my first visit and Im glad I finally checked this place out... Definitely lives up to the hype... Amazing rolls with cinnamon butter, and really good meals! Lots of different options for meals, so Ill have to go back to try something new! This location had very amazing staff. This location is support animal friendly!
Went to dinner last Friday while my daughter and son were in town. Never got our veggies and food was delayed, delayed, delayed. Tables around us that ordered after us were getting their food but our 5 top just waited. Manager came out after we finally got our meals, apologized and gave us free entries up to $30.Went back on Sun, just wife and I and the manager was bringing food to the person sitting to my left at bar and knocked over my beer drenching my favorite hat, coat and pants. When my meal came I just put it in a to go container and left to do laundry so my coat did not smell like beer at work Monday. To top it off I heated up my Sunday leftovers for lunch Monday and on 2nd or 3rd mouthful bit down into a chunk of the plate that broke next to me when manager knocked over beer. I thought I broke a flipping tooth!! (See pic below)Their steaks arent bad but its so noisy and many staff inexperienced that it makes it difficult to continue to go there.
Went to dinner ask for my steak a certain way. it did not come how asked instead when I complained the waitress was a bit flip and then my steak came after everything was done and I was out the door ,they stopped my wife to give her the steak because I did not want it anymore thats how long it took.
This has always been one of my favorite restaurants. However, they need to go a bit lighter on the salt for a majority of their dishes. Serious downside, our last visit was a big party to celebrate my SILs upcoming wedding so there were 8 of us. Took almost an hour and a half to be seated.
Pretty basic in terms of Texas Roadhouses. I love the staff here, though, because theyre always genuinely friendly. Service can be a little slow, but seeing how huge the place is, how many parties they sit, and how many people they serve, really the wait is nothing. They take call ahead seating which is hugely helpful. Peanuts is more amusing than anything else but also a great snack if you dont need or want an appetizer. One less star is because once when I ordered a pulled pork sandwich there, I had what I swear on my life was an intestine mixed in with the pork. Completely ruined pulled pork for me lol
Last night Saturday 1/5/19, my wife & I went in about 8:20 p.m.Our waiter was very polite, but very forgetfulto detail. My wife didnt receive a lemon for her ice tea until halfway into our meal which took longer than most, but forgiven as he came & mentioned the kitchen had dropped her salmon steak. Once the meals arrived we noticed that she wasnt given her 2nd choosenside order & after getting her string beans, they were so salty, they were almost unatable! The best part of our meal was my steak !We will consider another restaurant before going there again !
We had 7 adult diners who were on the large side and a baby in a car seat and I made there that extremely clear when we arrived to get a table. We were told a 15-20 min wait which was actually 45 min, when they showed us your table, it was a booth that could maybe fit 4 of us. When I complained to to the manager on duty, I received a major attitude and was told wed have to wait another 15 mins for table and chairs. I said ok. We actually only waited 5 min. We got to our table and 3 out of the 8 small plates were dirty!! They had butter on them! By then I was ready to blow and my best friend said its too late now, we already ate off them. I didnt didnt care, it was the point of the matter of all the things that led me to this. To top it off, we received NO APOLOGY AT ALL!!! The manager turned it around on us and blamed us for all that went wrong!!! If you can avoid going to the Kingston Roadhouse and go to the Poughkeepsie one, I truly believe youll have a better time and if you run into a problem they correct it right away and make sure you are happy before you leave. Ive only had one problem there, but it was so minute that I wasnt going to say anything but my 16 year old son did, about the broccoli being to tough to eat...they brought over a new cup right away! Enjoy your meal and hopefully you get to see the line dancing entertainment!!🥰
It was okay. Good food like usual for a Texas Roadhouse. The reason its getting 3 stars instead of a 4 or 5 is because of the service. The meat we got was lukewarm and our waiter had no interest in being friendly or helpful. It was more of a plain ol job then a Hello! How can I help you today? I recommend the coleslaw, its great! kind of attitude. We could tell it wasnt the kitchens fault; the melted butter on our brocolli had already started to congeal.
We were a party of 5 last Fri night around 6pm and were seated right away. Took over 1/2 hour before meals arrived. Steak was good but the mushrooms were burned. The server apologized and brought more mushrooms which were over cooked. The wife ended up with indigestion. The manager did appear and apologized for the delay. My take, the manager should have taken 10% off the bill. The Texas Road House chains in Florida are 10 times better. The peanuts were very good, but then again how can you screw up peanuts.
Its almost 7:30 on Monday, July 16, 2018 and the place is packed. We waited a few minutes before being seated and was sat in the center of the restaurant at a table for six (we are a four top) in-between two other six tops. The host was awesome, our waitress was awesome, our food is great, we having a great time with our margaritas and then all of the sudden, the Grinch (I had other names for him but my husband told me to take the high ground) in the booth behinds us starts complaining about how long the food took. Now, this place is absolutely packed, no open tables and this Grinch is complain about how his meal from start to finish took an hour. They are literally on top of their game and he is belittling Jess (I think thats her name, seemed like a manager) about every single little thing he could. Saying he wants nothing except for then to be better. She tried up and down to please him, but he wouldnt have any of it. Once Jess left, he started talking to his table and telling them all the things he should have said. Its been 15 minutes and he still wont stop talking about it.He finished the night by telling his family to take all the Peanuts at the table. And Who says class is dead .Anyways, now that the Grinch is gone you can all breathe easy and know that you are all doing a great job, and who knows, maybe he will choke on the Peanuts they smuggled out of here.
DUDE!! Clean your bathrooms!! The food is pretty good, but those bathrooms are shameful. Ive used gas stations bathrooms in better shape. An air freshener and a mop would go a long way. Chisel off the pound of boogers stuck to the toilet paper dispenser. Do something about the flies! I know you cant control how disgusting people are, but you have 100% control over the cleanliness of your restrooms. Makes me very weary of what your kitchen may look like.Update: decided to try again, 2 years after my last review. Steak was awful. Dried out. Service was sub par. Silverware was filthy!! Done with this place.
I like the ambiance, it is styled as a Texas roadhouse, which I enjoy over the plain decor of most restaurants. They give you a bucket of peanuts and a basket of fresh bread to snack on while you wait at your table. It is one of those small things that separates them from other places. The steaks and other food are very good. The portions are good. The prices are also good.Portions and prices seem to be standard to all places in this range: Higher than fast food, lower than fancy restaurants. It is the Applebees/ Chilis/ Olive Garden niche. Birthdays are different here.
I took my partner out on his birthday in December to this particular Roadhouse in Kingston. After we were seated, we had to wait a while before our waiter came to us and another while for the food. The waiter was not quite customer friendly, although he was trying to come off as such, but his response to certain questions told on him. He even seemed irritated while we were ordering. He would say things like, no, you said you didnt want.., instead of, ok, Ill change that for you. He was also leaning on the chair behind him like he was just so bored being there, instead of standing straight to take our order, and appearing to be attentive. The meat he ordered, omg, his chicken came back raw! We brought it to his attention, he just took the plate and a few minutes later, I kid you not, he brought back the same meat, a little seared on some parts. Talk about well-done AND unsanitary! Horrible service, food and experience. I wont be spending my hard earned money at that location again.
This review is particularly based upon service at this locale. I had never been to a Texas Roadhouse and while I have been a vegetarian for years I didnt find it hard to find options for me at a clearly meat-based restaurant. However, what made our experience such a delight was our server, Angelina. I highly suggest sitting in her section - we were in the booths that surrounded the bar area. Im not in Kingston often but Ill consider coming back just to say hi.
If I could give this place a minus star I would. Worst service and slow running of food. It took them 25 minutes to even wait on us. The food was sub par. The waitress was telling us that she was late coming over to us because she was on a phone call. They messed up one of my parties orders and tried to compensate by bringing us what appeared to be someone elses messed up order. On the bright side the beer was good.
You have to be mindful of them getting orders straight...especially on take out. Check everything. The cook of the food, the right sauces...make sure everything is there. If you order smothered it should be a container PER entree...not splitting. This causes me to drop a few stars from my initial 5 to down to 3.

2022-07-02Food was good and service was good. Only complaint was the salad was very small and the cup of chili was lukewarm, not even hot enough to melt the cheese. The rolls also were not hot enough to melt the butter. The rest was good though.

2021-08-19You can never go wrong at Texas Roadhouse. I had a 12 oz Filet Mignon cooked exactly the way I wanted it. It was extremely tender and cost only $30. The other meals for the rest of my family were delicious as well and the service was great!

2022-01-25Texas Roadhouse is always a pleasant dining experience. It was again a pleasant experience, the wait staff was friendly and service was polite and quick. The food was delicious and more than enough. A customer can choose their hand cut steak or choose from quite a few steak entrees . All entrees are served with two sides, the sides are both cold and hot sides. The prices are reasonable. This restaurant is well worth a visit, either for dine-in or takeout. A extremely pleasant dining experience.

2022-05-23First time here and we were greeted like family. Our server Christin was great everything she recommended was right on the money. Ribs fell off the bone . The steaks were cooked perfectly and our drink were strong. Not like your normal chain food type but like the way you wanna drink to taste and enough liquor you know it was done right. We will definitely come again

2021-09-08We stopped in on a Sunday afternoon and had a great meal. Our server, Kate was excellent. The food was great. I had the chicken fried sirloin with mashed potatoes and buttered corn. It was as big as the plate!

2022-03-29Went here for my grandson’s birthday dinner (his request) Food was good and plentiful. Prices were very reasonable. The staff did their birthday routine and made a seven year old very happy. My only complaint… we had to wait 30 minutes and they would not accept a reservation in advance.

2022-04-17The food was amazing. Proposed to my now fiance. I didnt think anyone noticed. They made sure we had a memorable night by having me sit in the saddle and ye-ha. It was a great night

2022-04-25My drink and food were great but what I didnt appreciate is the waitress asking if I wanted things like onions in my food or caramel on my sweet potato but didnt mention all the things she was offering were up charges. She asked about them as if they were just options that came with the meal. I certainly wouldve changed my order had I known I was being charged extra for all these things.

2022-06-28Hostess was great.server was excellent .burger was perfect. Correct if I am wrong but I thought prices for alcohol drinks use to listed.I didnt want to drink on a very hot day so I had a non alcoholic beer.I had no idea they would cost $6.75 each! Making my burger lunch $30.00 not the value I expect when I eat at Texas roadhouse.live and learn..
