New:7/5/22No wait, it was practically empty.We tried some of the new menu items: loaded southwest potatoes and tandoori fajitas along with wing roulette.The southwest potatoes were a bit cold (some.of the cheese was not melted, seemd like it was just sprinkled on top) although tasty, the loaded potatoes are better. The tandoori fajitas were good, and I would try the other versions when I go back. Waitress was nice.The bathroom was brighter and clean but the stall door lock was malfunctioning and kind of swung open by itself😯!!!
If I could put zero stars I would. We waited in the parking lot for an hour before we were served. We were a party of six and only four got served after and another hour of waiting. Three orders of the six orders were prepared incorrectly. They had no staff. I have included a picture of the parking lot that we waited in for sixty minutes. I get that staffing is short but it was a disaster
If I could give less than a star I would. place was a disaster. only reason we went was it was my daughters birthday, turned 8, and was excited to have staff sing. after more than 1.5hours of nothing but our drinks, and I had to go to the bar to get my infants cranberry juice. We walked out. others all around were getting served, slowly but it was coming out. staffing wasnt the issue. just a pathetic excuse of servers and management.
The service was enormously rude. They lost a party of 13 for no reason due their rudeness and incompetence. They wouldn’t serve us a drink at all presuming we would be a problem for the sin of standing at the bar. Make sure to not stand around the bar next time you go to this establishment. It is a mistake which will get you banished for no good reason. Plenty of other establishments in the area will treat you with respect. Go there instead
If you like good service, do yourself a favor and go across the street to Chilis. During my visit, the waitress was extremely incompetent. She had trouble taking our order. She had someone bring drinks but didnt know who they belonged to so they were placed on the table to sit and we had to try to figure out what was in them ourselves and pass them around the table. We waited 10 minutes before we did this for the waitress to return but she did not. I asked another waiter for a manager and thats when she returned. We had been in the restaurant for at least 30 minutes by that time. She said she was busy putting in our order. Our order should have been put in a long time ago. I should mentioned the restaurant was mostly empty. I spoke to the manager who assured me he would make sure things went smooth from here on. Wasnt offered anything. We still stayed. About 45 minutes to an hour into this experience, our appetizers came. They were cold. Our kids were hungry, we were frustrated, we left and went to Chilis. We had wonderful service, the food was great, the staff competent and friendly and Chilis was extremely crowded. Guess we were the only ones who didnt know to avoid this Fridays at all costs.
After waiting to even be acknowledged despite the restaurant not being busy, the waitress casually made her way to the front to seat my daughter and I (after stopping to another waitress). Before I even sat down she was trying to take my drink order, I told her I needed to look at the menu first, at which point she disappeared and didn’t return. I ended up leaving and have no intention of returning.
My dinner was delicious except the broccoli seasoning wasnt mixed well. My server was very nice and also Said she was new. Wouldnt have known it if she never told us. Now for the part that wasnt a servers responsibility at another table a rude customer was complaining about their server saying she was slow and other negative things. The young girl was brand new and did what she was suppose to be doing. As the customer was complaining she was steady eating and saying she shouldnt have to pay for the food. Me being nice and helping the serve told management that the server did nothing wrong and the customer said they were going to eat and walk out. I give them a 5 star because all employees kept their cool and tried to pacify the rude customer even another server that was sent over.
DO NOT DARE GO TO THIS RESTAURANT. WE WAITED ALMOST TWO HOURS FOR THE ENTREE. HAD I NOT BEEN WITH FRIENDS FROM OUT OF TOWN AND WERE VERY HUNGRY, I would if left. We went to Texas Roadhouse first and had a fifteen minute wait. We thought going to this restaurant we would of been served quicker. BIG MISTAKE!! Still waiting for our food after having been here almost TWO HOURS!!! SMDH
Went to this fridays tonight for dinner and had a horrible experience. Not only is the music in this fridays obnoxiously loud but the staff is not very pleasant. I ordered the sizzling chicken and cheese when I received my order it was completely burnt. Explained to the waitress that not only was the cheese burnt but all the veggies as well. She had them make me a new dish which I had to wait 15 minutes for.by the time I finally got to eat the rest of my party had finished eating. So they had to sit waiting for me while I ate my meal which is not fair to them. No where in this time did a manager come apologize or anything.he just hung out behind the bar talking to the bartender who was eating her food while serving customers. Very inappropriate and unprofessional. Highly disappointed in this establishment.
Katherine, the Sunday night bartender/waitress, was the most rude and disrespectful server lve ever experienced in my entire life. She made our experience horrible. When we arrived, my brother and sister who are sitting next to us ordered 2 beers and we asked for one directly afterwards and she told me give me a minute l am taking an order (we were together as group) then we let it pass and ordered our appetizers and asked if we can move to a table 5 feet away and she told us no because they will never find you (there were not many people at the place and she was not serving other people). Long story short when we came in people were leaving, said to us dont eat here they will never serve you, we didnt listen and paid the price. Save yourself a bad experience and go eat somewhere else.
The service from the waitress was great, the food? Horrible. We might have known the place was going to suck by how empty it was. Prime dinner time and only one other table was occupied besides ours. The food was very limited, the prices ridiculous and when it arrived it was horrible. I had an Alfredo dish that was so bland Id be surprised if it had even one milligram of garlic in it. Oh and the chicken on top was so overcooked it was inedible. My husbands salad was wilted, even my 8 year olds burger sucked. We were staying at Legoland and wish wed not bothered to even come to this restaurant.
Absolutely terrible experience. Waited for ou food. And couldnt even get refills on our drinks. Meanwhile the manager was at the table behind us 95 percent of our visit just hanging out. Terrible experience. My word to the owners of this Friday. You need to replace the manager you had on tonight
I wish I can honestly give this no stars. Whoever was managing that night needs to do better. 5/7/22. Bashing their employee to a customer. Not a good look. Please go here if you like bad service and horrible management. It took 30 mins for my kids to get drinks. BTW we were there an hour and never got our food.
Normally I have a great experience at TGIF but today was not one of those days. I ordered with the app for pickup, simple order Bacon Cheese Burger no onion add mayo and avocado. What I got was a burger with bacon and nothing else and some avocado covered with black spots on the side. My fries were cold and soggy, and I got there to pick up my order early. I should have checked my food before I left, but I trusted that the people at a restaurant would actually do their job. As normal I was proven wrong. Definatly a let down.
Online menu was great, had just the food and options we wanted. Online pickup was slow due to staff not being able to keep up with orders (not their fault). Be sure to check your order before leaving as I had to go back to pick up missing drinks and major options, one of which they convinced me I never ordered. Turns out I had, but wasnt worth the hassle to get it. Food was fine.
The server (on Christmas Day) were wonderful. So nice. Genuinely smiling. I went to pick-up an order. Even though they had a woman and a man were giving them a really hard time, for ever....It didnt effect how I was treated when I picked up. I even shared some M&Ms before I left to keep them going.
We were told 45 minute wait and we would get a text when the table is ready so we sat in the car for an hour. My husband went in and they all the sudden had a table. Sat at the table for 20 minutes all the workers walking passed our table not even acknowledging us.. didnt get to even order drinks. We gave up and left.
We arrived at 2:30p. There were not alot of people dining in the establishment. We waited patuently to be seated. Tamia greeted and sat us professionally and friendly. She came back to our table to take our drink preferences. When she returned with our drinks then took our orders. She brought back our wings. After this we waited. When she returned to our table she took our orders again apologizing as the order booklet had disappeared so our food hadnt been started but asked if we would like another drink, we asked for one soda. As I watched her take our second time ordering back to the kitchen she returned to her post at the bar. Another lady came over and gave her some direction on making drinks and memorizing them. She began to work on the drinks. We waited patiently. Finally she brought our soda then went back to the drink making. The other lady returned and they had a conversation. The other lady left and returned stating another customer didnt like the taste of her drink and wanted another one made. Tamia started on this. Finally we got our food brought to us by a different lady with her one arm wrapped in gauze. We began enjoying our meal. Tamia asked if wed like dessert. Declining this offer we asked for take out bowl to take our leftovers with us. She brought us what we asked and we gathered our stuff, paid our bill and left her a tip at 4pm. She did an amazing job!
Says open until 1am, but if you walk at 11:52PM on FRIDAY night, (are you not called TGI FRIDAYS?????? ) they will not let you in and CLAIM they are closed. Waaaaaccckk!Also bar was FULL of other patrons who had NO intention of leaving.Why bother? Food is trash anyways.
Service was semi good, waitress must’ve been exhausted, she brought out food that we didn’t order and took about 30min to get my drink to me. We still have her a decent tip.Food has lost the quality it once had... steak comes either rare when you ask for medium and burnt when you ask for well done. The Jack Daniels sauce is no longer desired.
The waitress was very nice and polite but the service was very slow. Very few customers at the time so not sure why it took so long to get our food.The NY strip steak I ordered was cooked not very good...very disappointed for a $26 steak. It was cooked properly (medium well) but was tough and stringy.The mozzarella sticks appetizer was very good.
Very unsatisfied. Portions were ridiculously small (Im well known for needing a doggy bag) and the food itself was horribly burnt and clearly sat under a heat lamp for a longtime before it was served. We were charged for a drink that we never received and the waitress, though busy, didnt do a very good job. It was a Friday night at a place called TGI Fridays, they should have made sure they had their all star staff members.
They decreased portion size and increased prices. Waitress was horrible. Never asked us if meal was ok. We asked her to bring two sauces, she asked which I prefer. We said both. Duh. Then we got her attention again and explained that cheese and half the meal was burned to plate. She offered no replacement or removal of meal from Bill. At the end, it took us a big effort to get her attention to get our check. She kept her back turned toward the room and when she did walk behind the bar, she kept her eyes down. Horrible food and service.
While I can not complain about the food.... I mean it is tgi Fridays..... the service could be a little better. Our waitress was OK until it was time to get our check. Luckily we were sat by the service station for them because I had to get up and ask for the check oh and wake her up cause she was falling asleep.
My sandwich called for lettuce and tomatoes but they were missing. There were bugs flying around, flies and gnats. When we complained about the bugs we were told that that an exterminator was supposed to come yesterday but they never showed up. The service was slow but the place was not crowded. The booth we sat in had sticky seats. It was an overall horrible experience. Our waitress was very nice however. Will not be going back there, ever. And we drive over an hour to get there. Such a shame.
We waited almost half hour for a table around 630 which is understandable for dinner time there was 4 of us. We get inside it wasnt that busy. We sat down waited another 15 minutes for the waitress to even come to us for a drink order then when she came over for that we gave our whole order. 45 minutes later we finally got our appetizer. Half hour later our dinners. Which by the where HORRIBLE!!!! Ive only been there a few times and I will never go there again. The place was horrible the food was cold by the time we got it the service was not great the server never checked on us after we got the food we have no silverware to eat my husband had to go ask to the hostess for some. It was not a good experience. I will never go there again or recommend the place.
Amazing service, but upon leaving I found a french fry in my pocket. Who put a french fry in my pocket?? I will be complaining about this to the manager my next visit. The free sugar packets were exquisite!! And don’t get me started on the salt and pepper SO DELICIOUS. The napkins and silverware were such a treat will come again👍👍
Went there this afternoon after waiting for almost 20 minutes to order, I ordered French onion soup and a side Cesar salad my partner got the wings, there was less than 2tbl spoons of cheese on my soup and it was flavorless the romaine leaves were all spines, my partners wings were soo tiny. The server brings our food and never comes back not even to bring us the bill which we got the bus person to get for us and then had to track someone down to pay the bill. Other people were getting up and leaving after asking multiple times for the server who never came by. We should have just left before we ordered seeing how long we had to wait to even place a drink order. Wont waste our time and money there again.
I never write bad reviews unless the place is terrible, But my experience today was horrible. Where do I even start, It is so humid and sticky, No AC. The most disgusting thing is the flies. They are everywhere, Trust the reviews when we tell you it is full of flies. They were all over my food and drink. Not to mention the food was made horribly. The restaurant is dirty and filthy. I’ve never been somewhere so disgusting.
Heres the breakdown for my 4/20/21 experience. Note... The restaurant WAS NOT crowded by any means.7:15pm: seated with my 2 sons.7:30pm: waitress took our orders. I ordered a full rack ribs, jasmine rice and garlic bread. One of my sons ordered a burger with fries and bacon while my other son ordered a skirt steak with fries.8:00pm: asked waitress to check on our food.8:10pm: waitress apologizes for delay due to them being poorly staffed and assured us our meals will be coming out shortly.8:20pm: one of my sons and I finally get our food, almost an hour after ordering.8:30pm: I requested the waitress get a supervisor to our table since there were at this point parties that came in well after us and getting their food yet my son was still waiting for his steak for over an hour.8:45pm: still waiting for a supervisor. Waitress tells me the supervisor is unable to see me at this time because hes in the back, cooking. She advises me I will only be charged for 2 meals and the third steak dinner that weve waitress over an hour for at this point will be on them.8:55pm: supervisor finally addresses me at my table and is highly apologetic about the inexcusable delay in service. He comps the full rack of ribs and the burger that was brought out to us after almost an hour wait. However, the steak my son was looking so forward to having never made it to our table. We ended up leaving 9pm on a school night to get my son Planet Wings as an alternative.Waitress was definitely apologetic about the whole matter but service like this is absolutely unacceptable! It would almost be acceptable to advise the patrons of extensive wait times before seating us. At least this way, were able to make an informed decision to patiently wait or go elsewhere.
Severely understaffed. Took over an hour for food. We were the 2nd table seated. Hair in our Cajun Shrimp and Chicken Pasta and had to ask to have it removed from the bill. Took until the bill came to receive my 2nd drink and when I said no thank you I had to ask the server to also remove that because I was going to be charged a 2nd. Never going back to TGI Fridays again. Poor attitudes and awful food.
Awful experience. Waiter was doing his best but just terrible everything else. Flies everywhere. No AC. Limited childrens menu. None of our meals came out as ordered and even as stated on the menu. Brown lettuce in my salad. French onion soup had a hamburger roll (instead of croutons) with barely melted cheese on top 🤢 Mozzarella sticks were frozen from a box and barely cooked through. My son couldnt even his rubbery grilled cheese. This was a definite fail.
Went there tonight to celebrate my daughter’s graduation and birthday. I will have to say that it was one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had. We waited forever just to order drinks, the food we got was rotten or old. The server never came back to the table to even ask how we were doing. The bathroom was dirty and made me feel like I was at a truck stop. The floors were so sticky and dirty that my shoes kept sticking to the floors. I have never been so grossed out with this place before.
Not for nothing but i was eating dinner and their manager walked out just now. It was an insane experience and every worker was running rampant but they were all so nice and apologetic. Their MANAGER was extremely rude/unprofessional to customers but the servers were SO kind and caring to us customers about the entire ordeal. The bartender Christian handled it very well and immediately took over to ensure everything needed to get done before an early close. 10/10 service, 0/10 management. I said what i said.
Very clean. Very nice staff. Good food. The problem is, there is not enough staff. It seems like 3 people are doing the work of 8 people. The same person seating people was also answering the phone and helping out with customers who were dining inside. They need more staff.
Do not go to the Fridays located in Middletown, NY. First we waited to be seated, then we waited for our order to be taken and it wasnt even busy. Our waitress says she was in the back discussing something with the manager. We then paid cash and they didnt even give back the correct amount in change. I tried to file a complaint through email and I kept getting a response sorry we dont know where your location was even after I put in all the information from the receipt. Today I tried to call and after entering the correct prompt I got a busy signal and then hung up on. Im furious
I like to be generous with reviews, but its hard here. We kept asking for new cutlery but they all looked gross with so many dish spots. My wife and I both ordered chicken parmesan pasta. The pasta was cooked well but the alfredo was watery and had no flavor. The chicken was flavorful and crispy but definitely needed more red sauce. We were the only people here at noon on a Saturday. I know COVID is a thing but its sad to see this place so outdated and empty.
I had a terrible experience. I ordered nachos and several minutes later my waiter came back to notify me that they were out of nachos. I ordered pot stickers and when they arrived they were cold! To top off my poor experience after my cold pot stickers arrived I had to ask my waiter for some silverware.
On October 3rd I went with my family to celebrate my niece’s birthday and the food was horrible, poorly made and the waitress was rude and had an attitude plus the bill was supposed to be split with 2 cards and the waitress over charged both cards 2 times with the full bill and it’s been over a month I’m constantly calling the manager and he said he promised to take care of it and give me a call back and never calls back I have to call and ask what’s going on and I still haven’t been refunded for the extra charges from over a month now…. DONT EAT HERE IF YOU DONT WANT TO BE ROBBED… plus the food SUCKEDDDD and I will never come back here AGAIN
We went there for lunch and it took 30-45min to get a bacon cheese burger and appetizer sampler, and there was maybe 6 people in restaurant. I think they forgot about appetizer because that took longer then burger. Also floor was filthy, old food and garbage under table next to us. Went to bathroom and had to walk out, garbage all over floor and and toilets filthy. Is a shame we have always liked coming here but not anymore.
What a disappointment this visit was. Our waitress didnt deliver a great experience. There were alot of mishaps. Once with one of our orders....then we asked that the kids dish be brought out as soon as it was ready...it wasnt & it was cold. My tortellini dish was horrible 😒not at all what I was expecting or looking forward to. Our appetizer was also disappointing....seemed like half of a serving. I was excited to eat at TGIF, because where I live now we dont have any so being back home in NY I was looking forward to having dinner here. 😏
Got crammed 6 in a booth, service was poor, food was cold and beer was warm. This place was a disaster mostly due to being short staffed, thanks Covid. People get back to work there is money to be made and it is great for your selfestime, no one ever died for having a good work ethic. Get vaccinated if you want to, wear a mask if you want to, no need for mandates. We do need a functioning society it starts with getting back to work. No restuarant will make it with 50% staff and 60% occupancy. Its up to us America!
Horrible!! We went in Friday’s this Sunday and right away the two females that were in the front obviously don’t know what they’re doing .they told me 20-30 wait and the other girl told me 10-15 minute wait and they still put me on a 20-30.There is no communication with them .Friday’s is going down hill if they keep hiring people like them .They took way to long with our food we got it very late but our server was really nice and caring
As a12 year patron this place has steadily gone down in customer service. Today sent chips back 3X because they were BURNT literally burnt. The new manager says theyve always been made like this. My husband and I just laugh and say please keep your free chips and salsa.... even at free we didnt want them! Then the waitress comes out and says yeah the cook says its because the oil needs to be changed GROSS! Last weekend employees from chilis came over and fought TGIF staff in the parking lot.... Fridays where? The bookings? Lmao
Service was ok, our waitress never stopped to see if everything was ok. Food took longer than it should to come out. We were there for an hour and a half. I had the signature whiskey sliders they were dry because they didnt put the mayo on or offer lettuce and tomato. Fries had so much pepper that I could hardly eat them. Multiple parts of the order was wrong and missing a side dish that was ordered. Our to go dessert took 30 minutes.
This place was great. Especially the area I was at. Atmosphere was great, everything clean and staff was friendly and quick about the drinks and they made sure your food was perfect. I had the 2 for $14.99 Salmon and ribs.. definitely was cooked to perfection. Will be going back soon had a waiter named Taylor his personality was awesome..
Overall is an ehh. Food is okay service for ToGo definitely should be taken care of. The station is by a side door with no one standing waiting for a customer to either pick up or place an order. All the Togo orders ready for pick up are also at the entrance which can lead to issues of people coming in to take a bag and leave without any witness. Doesnt matter of its a pandemic staff should be present
Great social distancing. Horrible customer service and food is over cook. Additional training is required. Went to location on weekday with three kids during off peak hours. Waiter promise kids chips and salsa while placing order for food. Inquire from another Waiter about salsa and chips after 28 minutes of waiting. At that point I had gotten kids prepared to leave and pay for drinks only. Original waiter claims there was no chips or salsa available and she thought someone else informed us. She said chips and salsa is a courtesy for TGI Fridays members. Chicken tenders and grill chicken were over cook, kids couldnt chew hard meat. Wont go to another TGI Fridays after this experience, rather go to a hole in the wall.
I have been coming to this restaurant for many years. Started when it was new, and now its ready for some renovation. Theres an old grease smell upon stepping in, even coming early for dinner. The food is great, and the service in the bar this last visit was exceptional. Love those green bean fries! But I probably wont return until I see they have made some upgrades.
The place closes at 11:30 pm , it was 8:30 pm and they told us the waiting was 15 min, but there was a couple waiting for 30min already .There was 3 employees just talking at the front desk… and when I call for the manager, they told me he was cooking.Well, didn’t want to bother.
Slow Service ...Watery Mashed potatoes..dry salmon... Dry steak and a server with attitude. The experience was awful. Just wanted and easy meal after a long day at work ( fore go cooking)and felt as if me and my date where a burden ..will not visit TGI Fridays any time soon.
Even though I like the food I was very disappointed with the service. I understand with COVID that staffing can be a situation but once we were seated after having to wait to be greeted. We waited almost 30 mins for someone to come. I didnt mind waiting at first because I understood they were short staffed but then 2 other parties came in were greeted, sat down and a server came within seconds to both parties. My family and another table that were waiting patiently were still not even acknowledge until we got up because we were leaving. And even still we were only glanced out. I will unfortunately never go back to this TGIF.
I will personally never be attempting here again. After waiting 5 minutes to be noticed to be seated with NOONE in the restaurant I then sat between 7-10 minutes and wasnt even asked what we wanted to drink. Thankfully Outback is across the way so we went there instead. I wouldnt recommend TGIs at all. Very unprofessional.
We came here for my husbands birthday in November. He is still upset about the experience! This place is awful. Our waiter was very condescending, none of our food was prepared properly, and the manager didnt seem to care. When we complained, they tried to rectify it with a basket of fries. It was freezing cold, and I had to eat with my winter coat on! I dont think weve ever been so dissatisfied with a restaurant before. We will not be returning.
The server was not attentive. We waited several minutes to order. She didnt get the order correct the first time and the coffee was barley warm the 4 times we received refills. We kept hoping it would be hot... Food was good though! Served hot and in a timely manner, not by our waitress though. Service was what discounts the rating.
Took forever for the waitress to actually come to our table, when she did she asked if we wanted appetizers when she hadnt even gotten us drinks yet. My boyfriend and I both ordered chicken entrees, which when they came his chicken was raw and my entree, which also came with shrimp, had freezer burnt shrimp which had the same feel as biting into a rubber bullet. Definitely an overall disappointing experience and I wont be back.
The food was good but our server tried too hard to act like we were friends. I tip 20%, thats a good tip, trying to act like you know me isnt gonna increase that tip its just gonna make me not wanna come back to the restaurant because I dont want to be seated in your section. All I wanna do when I go to a Fridays is hate eat some fried cheese and choke on a burger with an egg on it while my wife prattles on about something I dont care about. There were also WAY too many staff on the floor. It wasnt super busy but it felt that way which is uncomfortable. But the food was good and it didnt take too long so whatever. Go here if you want I dont control you
Stopped in for a late lunch today. Vinnie was our server. He was great, we didnt have to ask for a thing. He was on top of refills, napkins, everything before we could ask. Request him! He made it an experience!My husband had the blackened chicken sandwich lunch special, with mozzarella sticks and fries, he really enjoyed it. I had the lunch special mozzarella sticks, and lunch side grilled chicken cob salad. It was really good, and a great change from fast food. I only had 2 mozzarella sticks, and half my salad, so I got out out for under 400 calories. The rest Ill have for dinner. It was just a nice relaxing, delicious and nutritious lunch. Itd our go to spot.Dont forget to download their app and earn points! You get free chips and salsa every time to start. Just remember to ask. Then you get points that are really worth something! They add up quickly!
Went out for a date night however there was a 20 minute wait for a table. We were told that the bar was available. It was worth it to say the least. The service was fast and the bartender helped us figure out what to get. In less than 20 minutes we had our food and everything was perfect. We had great service and it was nice to sit down and have a nice conversation. It wouldve been different had we waited but sometimes things happen for a reason. I will definitely return
TGI Fridays is a great restaurant to go to for a date, with family, Friends, sports. You can go to the bar or sit down. The drinks are affordable and delicious. The food is affordable and staff is very nice and provide great service. We ordered the endless apps and they were delicious.
I frequent this TGIFridays fairly frequently (sometimes on a weekly basis) and so far every time I have come the service has been exceptional. Most (not all) of the times that I visit here I am with an individual with disabilities and between the people up front and the waitresses or waiters that we have had have always been very helpful and accommodating for our various needs. Besides all of that the food has always been prepared as requested and most importantly (to myself atleast) they are always on point with my drink refills.
If you want to go with a large group and dont mind waiting an hour for just your drink, its great.Among the experiences from last night: mixed up drinks and took pictures to show the bartender to figure out whose was whose, forgetting drinks all together, was not brought utensils (one of our party went and just grabbed them from elsewhere because we were waiting so long), being served half melted ice cream, and not being brought a glass for a drink and just the cocktail strainer. We had people that wanted to order a lot of drinks, but decided to nix that for obvious reasons. I like the food in general, but its not worth it for this kind of experience, especially with how expensive it is eating out. Were not coming back. Definitely worst eating out experience Ive ever had by far.
Our first visit and mixed opinion- the apps (pot stickers/mozzarella sticks) and drinks were great-- I mean great and so was our server Andrew (the best). We kept it simple and ordered Burgers/fries ( we took advantage of the 2 for $20 menu) and they were terrible. Burned ( I mean burned) on the outside and tasted like charcoal. I sent the first one back and the second was no better. The head chef did come out to personally ask what was wrong, apologized and we were credited. How do you mess up a burger? More imporantantly, why would you send it to a customer and expect them to eat it? Im from the city and thats not what we do.....well be back, but not for burgers!
Legit the worst service Ive ever had in a restaurant in my life. Went for a birthday celebration and just menus alone took 30 minutes to receive. Wont even talk about the order. There was only 3 tables occupied in the entire restaurant and we were there for almost 3 hours for 4 people dining.
The food was decent like always but the staff lacks any type of training in the service industry. The server was doing his best but the manager lacked accountability. We got our apps and food at the same time and we still didnt have our drinks. The manager was less than apologetic claiming that it was neither of our faults, of course its not my fault Im the customer. But it was absolutely his fault considering it appeared that the kitchen was the only place staffed and instead of running food he should have been backing up his drowning bartender. We also didnt get silver until after the food came and I had to ask for it. My sister and I would have easily order a few more rounds but I wasnt willing to sit and wait another 15 20 minutes for them to come. I am extremely disappointed in our experience and considering I am a restaurant manager myself and I look around the restaurant and there are 6-8 tables in the whole place and we waited for 10 minutes before our server came up and asked if anyones been with us, as if he was doing a favor by picking up the table. Which would have been great but he was the only server I seen in there besides 2 hostesses and the manager and the bartender. Which the bar was dead told considering it was a slow time between 3-4 that we came I could expect a little extra wait time to be served but the entire experience was a MESS and I will drive the extra 20 minutes to harriman to get better service. He comped me 14 dollars on my bill, but it could have been free and I still would never return.
Most of the food for a table of 6 was overcooked, all the fries and onion rings old and refried. Service was extremely slow (over 1 hr to get our food) and when we expressed dissatisfaction were made to believe by the not so pleasant Manager that the uneatable dishes would be removed or discounted but were not. After 4 hrs of this ordeal, we chose to cut our losses and leave.
We only stopped for a beer so I cant really comment on the food itself or the wait staff. The bar was nice and clean the bartender seemed quite panicked that a party of 10-15 showed up at 11pm even though the orders were quite easy mostly draft beer to be honest. The prices seemed quite high but the few people in our party thought they were on par for the area of New York we were in.
Not great service. I came in, sat down for a good 15 minutes for the waiter to come to my table just to say Ill b right with you n took our drink order. It took him 30 an hour to get us our drinks, and when I asked why it took so long, he said its really busy and I have other things to do. The cook brought the food to the table, and Im about to dig into my salad and I cant seem to find any clean forks or knives. I went to four different tables that have not been occupied looking for clean knives and forks but none were available. As Im sitting there over my salad I begin to grow hangry but I cant eat without a clean fork and the waiter was nowhere to be found , as in I didnt see him helping anyone else. The hosts finally got me what I needed. Im happy I got the ribs because I know theyre usually great with a Jack Daniels sauce... but I needed some wet napkins! The waiter did not show up again until I was just completely done and ready for the check. I know they train their employees to check in every 5 minutes at least. And in the hour that we were there for, I only saw him twice... I feel like you should get to learn each customer before acting the same with us all, because you may have bothered/annoyed One customer by checking in too many times... doesnt mean that customers after them want the same thing. Serve the customers the way you would want to b tipped. Just poor service. Newburgh is better.
We only ordered appetizers. Then they now have restrictions on when you order appetizers that you are not allowed to share with your party at your table no one can taste the others order of appetizer. Then it took them over an hour to Simply deliver the appetizers to the table! The only good thing from this experience was our server whose name was Ben. He was great!
What did they do right now? Thatd probably be quicker. We ordered water with lemon, no lemon. We got the sample appetizer. No plates, no napkins. Our waitress came by two times and then disappear for more than a half an hour. We got here at 8.45 pm, we sat at 9 pm and its 10:02 pm and we are still waiting for a salad. When we received the salad for first time and it was a wrong salad and they had to take it back. And we still waiting for the right order. By the way, we only ordered an appetizer and a salad. We had to ask a different waitress for our order. And finally our first waitress came back with the bill... with the bill!! And no salad!!! Unbelievable!!...
I am the pickiest person ever in a restaurant, but today my daughter and I stopped in for an early dinner. I must admit our server Leah was amazing, she was upbeat, cheerful, polite, attentive and all-around amazing. She definitely is going places in life with her positive attitude. I wish I could give her 10 stars instead of five!
Food was good. Staff seemed frazzled. Took a little while to be seated. They seemed understaffed. A little slow with the service but not too bad for a Saturday night. Asked about the endless apps. The catch is its $10 PER PERSON. Not bad if youre dining alone. Absurd if youre with a family of 4.
I normally enjoy going to Fridays..the food is good as another other chain restaurant. This Fridays however was not very good. The service was mediocre, the waitress barely looked at us or even greeted us. The food took longer than normal, especially for not being crowded.Maybe it was off day, but this was not the expectation of a normal Fridays experience.
Stopped here on our way back from NYC. It was just after 7pm, constant apologies that the kitchen was slow. Didnt get our food until 7:45. Mind you I have a 10 and 1 year old with us. We finished up and the server asked if we wanted dessert, we said no and the server left. Then she came back in what seemed like 10 minutes and asked if we wanted dessert again. At this point my wife and 1 year old went to the car. Then the server took 5-10 more minutes before coming back and asked if she had brought our check back after paying I hadnt even gotten the bill yet. After eating it took almost 30 minutes to get out of there. Avoid this Fridays like the plague. Just go to McDonalds.
Super busy. Waiters and waitresses very scattered and not very attentive because it is so busy. They are nice, but still could use a little bit better customer service. Mix up on orders twice. I stress that the wait is tremendous any day of the week. The food is very exceptional but at less one thing in your plate is weird, wrong, or cold. You can see the manager and writers and waitresses are stressed. Ive been trying to busy restaurants and have gotten better service. Our table was by waitress station and despite the busyness there are people standing around. They blame the computer screen for order mixup everytime and blame that for the wait. The person that owns this place or manages it needs to do something about the people that work here.
My boyfriend and I had gone here for a simple dinner date. He ordered a burger (Well done) and I ordered the million dollar salad with steak (medium done). It took about 30 min for us to get it -for a salad and burger!. When the server had brought it our order out shed said Id noticed your steak is over done. Do you still want it? At this point Im starving and kept the thing. Im not one to send things back to the kitchen. However, when I started eating my salad I noticed there was no kale in my salad. Id asked the server and she said Its not the dark green kale that everyone expects. Its little baby kale. Ill go see what happened. She comes back to tell me that the truck for their delivery is late and they dont have any kale.Why wasnt she notified by the chef or even management?I discuss with my boyfriend what Id like done at this point because Im upset an angry that my whole order was messed up. He asks for the manager from the server. 15 min later the manager comes to our table with an attitude already, barely hears us out, and throws a 20% discount at us. She didnt comprehend that it was her and her staffs fault for my order being messed up. I swear she repeated that her truck delivery was late over 5 times, as if its our fault.My boyfriend and I didnt want a free meal but we did want to be heard about the lack of communication and the standards the restaurant seems to have none of. Were never going back.
Ordered the endless apps and a sandwich. Took 35 minutes to get first order. After that was finished, took another 25 minutes to get the second order of endless apps. 2 hours later finally received desert. Cheesecake was sub par, but at least it was free with reward sign up. They can take their reward card and go pound salt because I aint ever coming back. Id call it sit down fast food, but there was nothing fast about it. Meh.
Horrible experience, wait staff was rude, food was cold and every dish had something missing or wasnt cooked right. The manager on duty told us she was short handed because one of her servers mothers passed away so she had to leave! Talk about crazy that lady shouldnt be a manager all she did was make excuses for why the food wasnt right but offered no resolution. I used to love this place we used to eat there monthly if not weekly, it has seriously gone dlwnhill.
I have never been disappointed going to this restaurant and I wont say I was completely disappointed at this last visit last week but the staff was not that attentive especially not our waitress and we saw unprofessional behavior and witness unprofessional language amongst the staff and who appeared to be the manager or assistant manager was just walking around ignoring what was going on around him. The food was good it took a little longer than we were accustomed to to receive our order and it wasnt that busy that afternoon but it wasnt the worst visit we have ever had at any restaurant.
1st time there - was very bad! Waited for very long time had to ask manager where was our order was 2 times...food finally came and it was cold, mixed up & forgot some things. They walked around with tiny pieces of chicken handing it out to tables saying we know the portions are small tonight. It was nothing of what we expected!!! The night manager gave us a 20% discount...our bill still was $94.00. The only thing i got a lot of was aggravation!!! So the manager calls me and apologizes up and down and sideways...and sent us a $25 coupon. Family and I decide that when we use it we are not ordering dinner, maybe just dessert. Lol wish us luck!
The service is always terrible and after staying away for about a year we decide to try it again last night. It was still piss poor service as we never received cutlery and I scavenge empty tables to get it. I had to remind the waitress numerous times for drinks and the kids refills. The kids food which we ordered ahead of our own came out in a reasonable amount of the time but after an hour waiting for my wife and mines dinner we gave up. Of course the manager comes over and apologizes for the lack of service and takes off our entrées and the appetizer that is supposed endless but was brought to the table twice. Bottom line is this place has consistently bad service and is poorly managed as this seems to always be an issue. We watch the manager go from table to table to address other tables issues on how bad the waitstaff was. Stay away and save yourself the frustration as there are other options.
Waited for 35 minutes for our food, which wasnt worth the wait. Dont understand why there was such a long wait as there were only two other tables with customers in the dining room. During the 35 minutes we waited the server stopped by once after about 10 minutes to ask if we wanted another soda. Never came by to say why there was such a long wait for our meal. When she brought the bill she never said thank you. When we were walking out the door the hostess didnt acknowledge us at all as she was busy texting as she stood in front of the exit door. Save your money and go somewhere else!!
We have been here twice now both times we waited 30 mins for drinks and the app came out at the same time as the dinner. This restaurant has been going down hill. If we come back theres a good chance this place will get a 1 star review.Manger did help the first the app came out by giving us one dinner and the app free. Does not make up for the fact it keeps happening.
Not good al all. First I waiting 7 minutes before ordering a soda. Than another 5 before taking my order. Had the broccoli soup, came out cold asked to reheat it. That went well 🤪, came back the same way. Really, what happened to having a good creamy soup. Cobb salad, how can you mess that up. Come to TGIF and find out. Never again.
Waitress was MIA the whole time and the place was empty. Took forever to get kids food out. Appetizers were not appetizing at all (mozzarella sticks and pretzels). As we were leaving, found waitress outside vaping, I guess that was a bigger priority for her. Will not be back!
It was me and two other co-workers from the beginning we had to wait 20 to 30 minutes to be seated at a table I ordered a cocktail drink a beverage drink 12-piece boneless wings side of fries, buttermilk fried chicken with fries, the boneless wings was hard as a rock the buttermilk fried chicken was so dark it was not edible, they refused to give me a new one saying thats how it comes out it was so dark and black the chicken breast itself, highly upset I had a very bad experience there.
Waited at the host stand for a while before anyone came over. The host finally came to seat us, and I asked if happy hour was just in the bar or the entire restaurant, but she did not know. Innocent enough. We said we would take a table for 2 and she said she would check if there were any clean tables. It was 10:30 pm, the restaurant was pretty empty, but we waited another 5 minutes before she sat us.... at a greasy table. Okay, whatever, we went to TGI Fridays not the cream of the crop when it comes to service... I get it. It took another few minutes before the server arrived, and she seemed sort of in a rush. Ive worked in restaurants, I do truly understand the its 10pm, and I want to get cut mentality so I asked if she was going home soon, because we had planned on sitting for a while and didnt want to keep her. She was relieved and moved us to the bar. Our server in the bar area was really nice, but rather uninformed on the menu. I ordered the chicken nachos... and something else came out. Some nachos with bacon that we did not even see on the menu. Again, menu changes happen, and sometimes buttons on the POS disappear... but she argued with me. She told me that was what I ordered. And normally I would have been like ok, maybe it was my mistake.... but this bacon nacho concotion wasnt even on the menus we were handed. And I know this because we asked to keep the menus, on the off chance we wanted apps and entrees. Anyway, probably never coming to this Fridays again, especially with Chilis, outback, Soho, and all the other nearby eats.
The service was over the top. I came in out of the blue and wanted to be seated alone with what I can now say the love of my life. It was the 1st time we ever meet and the staff treated us like we were the only people there.Not only did I find my Love we had great food and and nice time.I would recommend this to everyone !!!
Well... I attempted to order from the app on my way home from work so that I could pick up my dinner on the way home; apparently I wasnt paying attention and ordered from the middletown location mistakenly. I wanted to pick up from newburgh but since it was my fault I was going to just eat the loss and reorder from newburgh but when I went back to the app it went to Middletown again. I was willing to pay for 1 dinner even though I wouldnt get it but not 2 so I called the Middletown location right away to cancel the second order; and I have now been on hold waiting for the General manager for over 27 minutes as I write this and at this point I refuse to hang up. I will post an update when or if any of this gets resolved. But at this point I was willing to pay for a dinner i wouldnt eat but now I want all of my money back...
Usually not bad food but please, for the love of whatever you hold sacred, clean out the beer tap lines at the bar. On more than one occasion I’ve had to send beers back (usually Sam Adams) because it had “tap turds” floating in the beer. A sign that the taps aren’t cleaned out regularly. C’mon guys! You can do better.
Worse TGIF. Ive given this place so many tries and they never fail. Staff is rude and never seem to know what to do. Always under new management. Bar staff is nasty, watched them touch money and then grab a handful of strawberries for someones drink. Everyone needs to be retrained. Uniform attire is sloppy. When I was complaining to manager, two other people appeared and complained about their service too.
Terrible expierence I order 30mins before and they told me food be ready in 15-20 minutes. Got there and yes they was pack but I was not spoke to until 20minutes I’d standing at the bar for my pick up food that was there that I knew was mine cause was the only to go bag. I then waited another 10minutea until I went to the guys doing the drinks he then told me sorry the waiter is who I’m o speak to. The waiter who was very rude told me give him a second as I can see they are busy. I received my food 30minutes of standing at the bar waiting a minuting. Terrible costumer service. And let’s not forget I didn’t get the right food which had my name on it. Terrible Friday’s. May need new staff.

Unlimited apps is no longer good. It’s three apps to choose from for $15 dollars . It’s now over priced with no choices. We sat at the bar. Several orders were messed up, with several customers many unhappy and waiting customers to compromise for wrong orders. serving sizes are getting smaller. seems like staff and management needs to get there stuff together . People next to us asked several times for silverware they started picking at food with fingers as to they were hunting for forks. I spilt the bill.. only to notice when I just got home to a double charged bill on my online bank account... will no longer have my business..
Service was horrible ! I asked for a refill and the waiter proceeded to spit in my face and tell me to drink her saliva I then got up to talk to the manager but she picked me up and body slammed in into the table ! She also complained to me about her life story after that explaining why she did it :( I don’t care about her life story I just wanted a refill
This TGI Fridays is divided into two sections - a bar area and dining. I like the bar area because the booths are curved, so you and your company can sit and look out at the restaurant and see the TVs, people-watch, or just see your food coming. Service has improved recently, though you still get the occasional quirky server. I like the 4-7-4 menu items. Theyre well-portioned, and I always leave feeling very full.
It gets no stars! .. The service was terrible, I recieved the sampler without the ribs, had to ask for napkins, side plates and silverware.My main course was over.cooked.and dry. The drinks were watered down. I complained to the manager and didnt pay fot the sampler.NOT THE WAY TO END MY FATHERS DAY!
Horrible dirty tables left un cleared. People standing around not being seated. Because of dirty tables 2 managers on duty they were not o. The floor helping was told 15 min wait 25 min later still not seated customers complaining stil no resolution. We left went to chili was seated immediately.
Middletown is better than Monroe location in my opinion. I like sitting at the bar personally. Kim the bartender in Middletown makes your dinner experience great and no shortage of libations. Food is pretty good. I like the Jack Daniels Ribs. They are always delicious!
The place wasnt busy when we arrived which was around 1pm. We had the chicken burger, all american, and the stack burger. The burgers were amazing/juicy/tasty and the fries/sweet potato were really crispy. Overall the food was really good. What made it an amazing experience was the waiter, Alan. Damn, that Alan is one amazing dude. Pure class in terms of character and service. I hope Alan becomes a Manager of that location someday and eventually becomes CEO of TGIFs because everyone can learn from him. If I was on the show called Hidden Bosses for TGIFs I would give this guy a full ride to a Business School and even volunteer to step down in order for him to take my job. Anyways, Alan is awesome.
WORST experience at a restaurant ever!!!!!!! We waited 1 hour for food and still didnt get any!!!!! We left after an hour and the food still wasnt ready. I often go to the tgif in monroe so I figured middletown should be just as good. I was so very disappointed. The server was horrible. He did not check on us at all. Some how a salad and nachos took 30 min. I had to go thi the bar to actually get help and service and a drink. Or server send to forget we existed. Ill probably not return to middletown tgif
Well, the TGI Fridays chain used to be good, but theyve raised their prices to try and be a premium chain restaurant. The price does not reflect the quality of the chain.I like using the burger as an indicator of price. Most places in the area charge $10-$12, but the price starts at $13. Eveyrhting else scales inba similar way.There is nothing wrong with this particular chain, but the franchise in general is an overpriced place to eat.
As I sat here and ate , I watched two employees go at it one of them being the bartender and he was so nasty to the waitress which just stated to him the fact that her customer has been waiting 35 minutes for a drink as he continued to make drinks for other waitresses. It’s ridiculous to see this. Yes we all make mistakes but he made a mistake and then yelled at her for it. Unreal.

2022-02-12When we arrived at Fridays we were not greeted by the host. Instead theyre backs were turned to us. We were seated near the bar. Which the room was completely empty. Our waitress came to take our order for drinks and appetizers. We ordered a root beer and a cotton candy cosmo with wings. Our drinks took 10 minutes and we waited over 30 minutes for the wings. We were going to order another app but the waitress quickly rushed off. Our food took over an hour to get by then the cosmo was gone. I asked for a sprite and waited another 10 minutes. Then we waited again for boxes and our order to go. And still waited another 30 minutes just for our check.We will never sit in the bar area again due to the lack of service.The only thing that was good was the food but then again they did forget to make the whiskey burger to go with the whisky sauce.

2021-07-17Where do I start?! It was humid and sticky in the restaurant, flies galore, slow service, apparently the dishwasher is broken so they had to use plastic utensils, credit card machines jammed. Ok so now the food. It took an hour to get our order! We ordered a medium rare steak and not only did that come out well done, but so did the mashed potatoes. We also had to ask for the whiskey sauce that it was supposed to come with. The grilled chicken was rubbery and dry, the cheese was so burnt that it stuck to the dish it was served in. My kids had to swat away flies while eating their chicken tenders. Our waitress took forever to get to us, kept giving us 4 of everything when we are a family of 5 and then never checked on us. Overall, terrible experience. We used to frequent TGIF years ago but menu, atmosphere, and service, and cleanliness have really fallen off. I will never eat here again.

2022-04-12One star is generous, I would give zero stars but I will not let me. First I called ahead and was informed that the wait time would be 30 min for my party of 10. When I arrived I was told that I did not call and the wait would be another 45 minutes by an individual with absolutely no tact. I paced my name on list again reluctantly and was seated 1 hour and 32 minutes later in a restaurant that was near empty. 25 minutes later a waitor arrived to get our order 10 minutes later most drinks came and remaining came a few minutes later. Food came quick I guess it doesnt take much time for inexperienced cooks to burn food without adding any flavor. Waitress came back one other time to check on us. I would say I used to enjoy eating at Fridays but this location was trash..... Any other place would have been a better choice. They dont want to be bothered so you should take your business elsewhere.

2022-04-16This place has some incredibly friendly servers and bartenders. I stop here quite often since it’s a good midway point on my commute. However, it would get 5 stars if the cooks could cook steak. I always order a rare whiskey glaze steak. I always get well done instead and then I’m the jerk sending back a steak. They have no concept of meat temps. I can get ordering rare and getting medium rare or medium…but every time…well done. They need to either educate their cooks or get some new ones. The chef was at least nice to come out and apologize for the line cooks. So 5 stars for the service and about 1 for the line cooks.

2021-07-18Was there on 7/15/21. As soon as we sat down we noticed the flies flying around us. We complained to the server who attempted to help by relocating us but there appeared to be an infestation of flies. I counted at least 30 flies on the walls alone. They got so bad that I asked to speak to the manager because they were on my cup and my food. The manager said that he called to have someone come and spray but they never showed up and he complained to corporate but they aren’t helping them either. I told him that if that’s the case he shouldn’t keep seating ppl in that area because the flies are everywhere. I was going to order desert until I saw exactly how many flies were just on the walls alone. I wouldn’t feel comfortable eating anything else there. He didn’t seem very concerned and told me that I can call corporate. My last time there.
