It’s a Friday, food is meh, but what I really come here for is the draft. Great selection, and fast service. Inside is kept very clean, as well as the restrooms.
Great staff, good menu selection and very clean place. 5 stars. If I had one negative take away, it was the music at the bar. It was good music, just a bit to loud, it was a bit hard to have a convo with my buddies. Otherwise amazing.
I normally dont get food like this, but Im out visiting the family for Christmas and needed something to eat. I got the endless apps and boy did I eat. Our waitress was super quick and always ready for our next order. A good experience overall, I would done here again.
When you read this please use your best judgment. Ive been coming to TGIF for years. Ive had times where I find the meal pleasurable but this last time I ate there I was not to thrilled. First off let me make things clear as far as customer service they did an excellent job. They were attentive and was always checking in on us so I have no complaints there. The appetizers were satisfactory. I love the pretzels and the mozzarella sticks but the appetizer menu has been the same for as long as I can remember. The main course I ordered steak and I regretted it. The steak was really hard and not savory. I recommend ordering a burger here because its hard to get that wrong. My son ordered one and he seemed to enjoy it. Again I have been to this franchise and never experienced this but I think I will be taking a little break from coming back.
Terrible! We were there during quiet hours and our meals were awful ! How do you screw up a hamburger? Other party had chicken which was terrible.Seriously, avoid this place !

We had a great time. our waitress, Chelsea, was amazing!! very friendly, funny and accommodating. TGI Fridays seems to be short staffed, like every other business these days, we were a large party, there should have been a 30 minute wait, but Chelsea agreed to add us to her already full plate with no wait time. Thank you Chelsea for all you do!!!!

I waited 15 min to be sat and when asked if I could be sat the bartender looked at me and nastily said “we are only staffed with 2 employees” mind you it was 12:30 and their was only 1 table sat in the entire place. We went down to Applebees. We were seated right away.
Finally was able to find a Fridays that offer good food and service.
As I write this review, I have now been to this location twice in the last month. In both visits, the food is the reason to come back!!Honestly, not the service. I hope the cooks get a piece of the tips, because they are the ones earning it!Love the Boneless wings. Its a great starter! And on this visit, The Cajun Shrimp was wonderful.Sitting at the bar, the servers on both occasions, really didnt want to be there. Never seen such a bummed out staff.My server, Samantha, was there in body, not in soul.Id come back for the food, I wouldnt come back if the food wasnt good.
This is my second time having an absolute terrible experience with Fridays. I order here often but will definitely second guess coming here. Food was a curbside order. Supposed to be ready at 7:54. It’s 8:10 and still no sign of anyone. Called the restaurant and the guy told me to come in. That’s not the point of a curbside order. So then I stand there in front of the bar while the blonde bartender pays me no mind. Waited another 15 minutes to even be acknowledged by a worker and then had to wait even longer for my food. They tell me they’re packing it up now, but my food should have been done 20+ minutes ago. Get it home, 5 minute drive and it was not in fact just packaged up. Fries are cold and soggy, bread is soggy, food isn’t even correct. extremely disappointed. do not recommend.
My meal was great. I got a full rack of whiskey glazed baby back ribs. They came out hot and were very juicy. After my wifes burger came out with onions on it, she sent it back. Unfortunately the one they brought back was way undercooked. Had to send it back a second time. By the time she got her burger 🍔 I was eating my last rib, so I watched her eat her burger. The mgr made it right by giving us 2 complimentary apps.

I love tgif but came here a week ago and had the worst experience i’ve ever had at a food establishment. The new management is pathetic to say the least. Waitressing staff did ok, but management ruined my experience & when i went back for a refund he became belligerent with me and extremely unprofessional. Don’t know what crawled up his behind but it is reflected onto his work ethic. Will NOT be recommending this location to anyone as long as their management is this poor of quality.

I gave 2 stars two years ago, and today have them another chance. There were only a few other customers, still took a really long time for food. The server was great, very friendly, but overall experience was very disappointing. Wont be giving a third chance.
Horrible service! We are a family of 4 and walked in for lunch on a Sunday at 12:30. There was no hostess so we just stood there inside the front door for a while. Finally we walked around and found an employee who seated us. We sat at the table for 15-20 minutes but no waitress ever came. We would have flagged one down but there was nobody even in sight, so eventually we just left!
Under the conditions, they did not do a bad job seating, waiting on or asking if you need anything else, but the food I was served I wouldnt try to pass off to anyone, I didnt really eat it, although I was starving at that point but the chesse burger and extremely salty fries really were horrible. Ill leave it at that. I didnt complain, nor will I ever return to Fridays. Period

The full meals are actually very small. It definitely feels overpriced… my dish wasn’t photo worthy, too sad! Service was great though!
10/24/2021 Definitely needed after a day at Apple and pumpkin picking ... the salmon was great but the Cajun shrimp chicken pasta was undercooked pasta definitely was still hard i guess they rushed because it was busy
Great experience at this location. Had a few issues with my food and sent it back. A couple of minutes later, John the kitchen manager came over and apologize for the food and personally made sure my food was as I wanted it. He even brought the food over himself and offered us dessert. Even though there was a mistake with my food at the beginning, I had an awesome experience because John made me feel appreciated as a customer. John is well versed in the art of customer experience and satisfaction.
I placed an order online at 8:22pm..my order was suppose to be ready by 8:45pm, i arrived to pick up my order at 8:50pm. I asked the bartender she told me to look in the red bags to see if my order was there, if it wasnt there it was because they were working on it. My order was not ready, i waited and stood there for 20min before a manager came out and asked me if i had been helped, she went to the back and came out with my order. I would understand if my food wasnt ready because it was busy, but it wasnt busy. I wouldnt recommend ordering online. Now that i am home i open my order and the amount of money i spent is way too much for the amount of food that i got. Disappointed.

Food was good.We definitely Appreciated the great prices . Only this will bring us back. The Server was very nice but must have been very busy. We would have ordered more drinks ,apps etc but she wasnt available. We felt neglected constantly.waited for silverware, for more than two napkins, etc.. lets order another app.. forget it we are done..
The service was very slow; but I understand due to the pandemic, they were under staffed. Food was tasty. The Strawberry Passion IceTea was trash!

I was expecting a wait because it is Mother’s Day. We were seated promptly, but not given silverware.The dining room was freezing, even husband said so.Food service was incredibly slow. Mozzarella came without sauce.Haven’t been there in 9 months, because on last trip they charged the full amount to both my parent’s card and mine, instead of 50/50.Used to be a good go to place, but just can’t seem to be any more.
We were seated right away as it wasnt busy at all but it did take a good 10 minutes for someone to initially come to our table. Once the waitress came over, service was excellent and super quick. The waitress was super nice and excellent and on top of getting our food out right away for us. The food was excellent and cooked perfectly. Was in and out in under an hour (maybe even less).
Went for takeout. Waited a long time before being acknowledged. Then, waited to place order for appetizer. Was told it shouldnt be long wait. Again, waiting a long time before being asked if I was being helped. Was largely ignored until I asked about the order. The person who finally asked, was the only person who acted professionally. I wont be back. Riverhead takeout sucks!!!
The food was disgusting it came out to fast the oreo shake was gross iced up and horrible im sick from the food it wasnt prepared right the fries were old but the waitress was awesome
Our server Melissa was incredible, she made sure we were comfortable at all times (no wait for refills, very helpful with the menu). She recommended the steak and shrimp, i loved it!! Great experience overall, Thank you again Melissa!!
Good service great food. We went for lunch, 3 of us. I had a mixed drink from the bar and it tasted great. Not to pricy either.
Great music with a calm atmosphere, quiet but not like deserted. Waitstaff were all fantastic and attentive and friendly!
At least my steak was cooked properly. Service has gone down, maybe its the management. Even if the waitresses and waiters try the kitchen staff is slow and often gets orders wrong. I saw the waitress write my order correctly but they put the wrong sauce (slightly spicy) on my steak. She got it fixed but its consistent slow service and order mix ups is making me want to eat elsewhere.
Food was typical. Service was alright. I came in with my best friends after a day of shopping and the waitress automatically separated our bills when she dropped the check. I know we look young and probably thought we werent going to tip her however dont even judge a book by its cover because we all work in the hospitality industry and definitely tip according to how we receive service. If I happen to receive horrible service, I still leave 18%. Ill probably find somewhere else to eat when I go shopping next time.
Honestly the worst dining experience I’ve ever had. First of all, we didn’t have silverware for the entire table, and when we asked the waiter for more, he told us they didn’t have enough for the whole restaurant. Second of all, the silverware we did have was dirty. Pieces of broccoli and random food were stuck on them. The waiter forgot 2 of our drinks and never offered us water or asked if we wanted refills. 3 of our meals never arrived and when they finally came, 2 were wrong. One meal (steak) came with a random tortilla chip on the plate. Another meal had a hair on it. We ended up having to ask for plastic silverware. The wait staff didn’t once check in as to how we were/what we needed during the meal. And they charged us for 2 drinks we never got. We had to ask for management twice and the second time he didn’t come to the table. Would not recommend to friends or family. Try your luck at Applebee’s down the road.
The service was too slow. Everything took longer than normal. When we did get our appetizers we still had to wait for utensils. There was bugs on the inside of our window. The side order came out after the check was presented. And one drink never came at all. And the mens bathroom was a mess.
Bartender was doing a great job even though the place seems VERY understaffed.Food was good recommend the starter SAMPLER great to try different things
We decided to sit at the bar and notice the bartender was not wearing a mask did not practice frequent hand sanitizing meals ordered was either salty or saltless at 1 point as the bartender was carrying out a meal she coughed and it went straight in the food other persons were observed talking and playing around while handling guess food
Waited forever to get seated. Not cause they were busy but because we were ignored. Forced to sit in bar told dining was closed yer there people in there and people behind us were seated in the dining room. It was 4 in the afternoon! Waiter was great but was the only one on. What the heck! Wont be back

This review is based on my experience during phase 4 of covid when dining rooms opened to 50%. Because of this all restaurants weve been to have had fast service, Riverhead Fridays included. Service was quick, attentive and orders came out fresh and hot.
Server Jordan was on his game, by offering up a great value menu on the choose two; after I said that I was torn between the ribs or salmon dish. Also, enjoyed the lrg. strawberry Margarita that came with real strawberries. Food was good and service was great. Plenty of parking easy accessible location. Nice TGI Fridays. Thanks
Weve been to this TGIF and others in the past. The current lunch menu offers more drinks than food. I thought in the past that the menu included a section for lighter fare. My chicken was dry, Cole slaw looked old, husbands ribs were tough - not cooked for hours like they should be. His fries were not up to par. His Margarita was very good, he said. Service was also very good. But thats $50 that we wont get back. The place is under renovation. Wait until they finish - maybe things will return to normal...
My wife and I went there last night for dinner and had the worst meal that we’ve had in over a year. I ordered mozzarella sticks and the French dip and they were barely edible. My wife ordered a Caesar salad and it came with wilted lettuce and shredded cheddar cheese on it! Our waiter was very nice, but they clearly need a new chef!

Horrible to no service. totally ignored by entire staff. Food was good. Tip was bad.
Service was horrendous from the moment we walked in. The hostess was strung out on some type of drug and decided to tell my girlfriend and I about her genital piercing. She then brought us over to a table and had us stand there in front of other guests next to the soda bar while she wiped down a table that should have been wiped previously because the place wasnt even busy. We then decided to move into the bar area where she had to wipe down another table as she was dropping the menus all over the place. We ordered the 2 for $20 and had to ask for numerous items that had been forgotten about (some even after we had asked again) all will sitting at the table trying to work around dirty dishes everywhere because nobody cared to remove the glassware not being used anymore.
The food was good... Once it got to our table. Silverware was dirty and we did not get enough for the whole table. Some of our party had to eat with plastic utensils. The server we had said it was his first day but did not have an experienced waiter to shadow. All around poor management and service.
Normally, I would give Fridays at least 4 stars, but this visit was not up to par. I went on a weeknight at about 9PM. The restaurant wasnt busy. It took our waitress 20 minutes to get to the table, another 15 to bring us our drinks, then another 30 before we got our food. Tag on another 10 before we got silverware and were looking at being able to eat over an hour and 15 minutes after we arrived. Then, to make it worse, after we got the check, I handed the waitress my card to pay with and the bill. She said that she didnt need the bill, she knows the bill to charge it to. Turns out she comes back and apologizes, she ran my card for another table that was twice the amount of my bill. The restaurant was dirty, the silverware was dirty, not a pleasant experience at all.
Have been eating here for over 10 years. It has always been a reliable place to bring the family. However over the last year weve had a couple of strange incidents. One time they served up rotten avocados. Another time they brought out a salad that had a lettuce tag still in it. When we brought these things to the attention of management, they were always very apologetic and gave us free stuff to compensate.Now, theyve changed the menu. I used to order the Jack Daniels burger religiously. Now its gone and in its place there is a strange burger with a Buffalo wing over the bun. I cant say that Im a fan of the changes.Dont get me wrong, I will continue to go back unless something very bad happens. The kids still consider it to be one of their favorite places. I just have the feeling that the place isnt as good as it used to be.
Our server was Mike. Very nice, very professional. Kids got their food before the adults, but that was requested. Three of us got the $14.99 special. Excellent. All in all we we happy with our meals and left content.
Poor service, very slow, and thats for a time when no one was in the facility, and the waitress and host were rush. It felt like they were trying to get us out of there as fast as possible. Then the food wasnt good they put items on my sandwich I didnt want and the chicken and hamburger were over cooked. Over all a poor experience and as my first visit to a tgi fridays it was also probably my last.

I been to Tgi Frydays in many places, this wasnt the best experience.The kitchen was really slow , and the food wasnt the best compare to previous experience.
Food was great; service not so much. We came here two weeks in a row. Our first server was a little on the ditzy side, but pleasant enough. The 2nd server seemed like she could not care less if we got everything that we ordered. Had to ask her twice for extra sauce, same for 2nd round of drinks. She wasnt unpleasant, just didnt seem to care. A couple of us ordered wings and ribs, no extra napkins and my sister in-law had to get up to get us handi wipes for the table. It used to be that the managers in these corporate restaurants would come by each table to check on things...this doesnt seem to happen anymore and the service definitely has slipped. Im the type of person that tips at least 20% no matter the service...these people work hard and deserve a decent living, however, the servers dont do as much as in the past. Someone else runs the food out and someone else cleans the table. Just hope they get their share!!Having said all of this, both times we visited the food was pretty good. The new ribs are meatier and very filling, and its nice to have choices on the way they are prepared instead of the jamming the Jack Daniels BBQ down our throats. The value was good on the food as well, although they kill you with the prices on their specialty cocktails.Any way you look at it, it is TGIF...never going to be gourmet food, but decent food at a decent price.

We went to the TGIF in Riverhead today, 6/4/19, at 3pm. It was FRUSTRATING the moment we walked in the door. The first sign of trouble is that it was empty. The second sign is that it smelled like old carpet or floors that have been mopped with dirty mop water and let dry. The third is that all the walls were dirty. Next, the place is starting to look run down. We ordered from the 2 for $14.99 lunch menu, which we thought was great. We thought it meant two lunch specials for $14.99. I wanted to go to the bathroom and wash up and I asked my husband to order the shrimp special for me if the waitress came while I was gone. I went to the bathroom and there was no toilet paper in the stall and the paper towel machine was empty. When I came back to the table, he said, Oh! I ordered you shrimp AND ribs because the waitress said we get two choices!. Well, we were thrilled...until we got the bill for nearly $40 before tip. The 2 for $14.99 did not mean two lunch specials, which was deceiving in the wording, it meant two entrees for each person for $14.99, which it did not clarify in the heading of the menu. Then, LOVED (not) that we ordered shrimp but they didnt have any tarter sauce. Seafood but no tarter sauce... THEN, and this is why I will never eat there again, I am a coffee lover and I ordered coffee and the coffee was old and lukewarm, but here is the kicker: When I asked the waitress, When the next pot of coffee is made, could I please get a second cup of coffee? she answered, Oh, we dont make another pot until 4 oclock. Hold up. Your fresh coffee is made only on a schedule, regardless of whether a customer wants it or not? I CANNOT order a fresh cup of coffee...in a restaurant? What?? (Seriously...what?!?) So needless to say, when she asked us if we wanted dessert, I had to bite my tongue to not say, Not without coffee, thank you very much. I left there and will never go back. Bye bye, TGIF. Youre on your way out. And Applebees is packed. Maybe take a lesson.
Extremely disappointed with the wait staff and temperatures or food. We ate there on a Wednesday night and they were not busy, but they were too busy to assist me with an order to go. Soup was as cold as if it came out of the refrigerator. Pot stickers, cold. Etc. I do not recommend this location.
Hair in the food. gross. they comped the meals but I would not go back. dumped half the fries on the floor and never brought any to replace. and not a small hair. a long one with food stuck to it. killed my taste for ribs
Came here on a Sunday night with a group of 8 for my birthday! Waitress came over to grab our drink orders. I ordered a st germain spritz (very simple just some processco splash of st germain and a bit of club soda. Ordered it here several times before never had an issue). David, the manager, brought me over some orange drink and called it a spritzer. I tried to explain to him that it is not what I ordered. Not only did he call me a difficult customer but he rolled his eyes gave me an attitude and embarrassed me in-front of my entire party especially on my birthday! As a manger you should not be giving a customer an attitude especially over a simple drink. He told me he would have to charge me for the processco and st germain which is absolutely absurd. Would you charge someone for every single type of alcohol in a Long Island Iced Tea? .... No...I ended up not drinking at all. On top of that our waitress forgot majority of the food we ordered and than once we were done eating she came over and remembered that she forgot to ring the rest in. I will not be back here and neither will my party. Place is an absolute dump and it’s run by people who have no idea how to work in the service industry!

Onion soup at best was lukewarm. Ordered ceasar salad that came without dressing. Too long a wait. My kids didnt get menus, they ran out. Kids mac n cheese was also a no go...they ran out. Wont be going back during summer season...ever!
We had to wait to be seated as there was no hostess. I believe that there was ONLY one waitress in the whole place. She got our orders wrong. The food was good, but they need to hire more people.
I ordered food for me and my mom on mothers day online. I get home with my food and they messed up my order thankfully they didnt mess up my mothers they gave me a tiny thing of coleslaw instead of my side salad and the coleslaw was warm and not even good honestly. Disappointed.
Waitress was lazy and lied to a family member. Too lazy to walk to other side of table to hand Bill to person paying. Clearly knowing who was paying handed me these things to pass on. No excuses plenty of patrons walked around our table tending their busniss. When asked where was the little clipboard for receipts. The reply dont have them with lame reason. As we watch the very same non-existent clipboard being retrieved from a table behind her.

Well its the end of an era. They discontinued the flat iron steak. To add insult to injury, the strip steak is tough and chewy. On a positive note, seating was quick, service was excellent and the potato skins are still in the menu. But bring back the flat iron please!
I know that 4:30pm is probably not the greatest time to show up at a restaurant, but...I want to just say their service was slow, but I think it was just a communication issue. We were sat and then forgotten about. When flagging down a server, it was indicated that it wasnt their section, but they would pass along our order. It seemed like a significant amount of time went by before I had to ask about our food, but I couldnt say for sure. Objects and persons in hungerspace experience a time dilation relative to realspace objects and persons.We were assured of our foods delivery, and it eventually came. Vegetarian burger was quite good. BBQ salad seems like it could be much better on the right day. Mine was overdressed. My kids were not down with the Mac and cheese, but thats just because they are picky. Cheeseburger was good, though.At no time was the staff rude, and the manager was accommodating with offers of complementary dessert. However, I their were just too many instances of either thoughtlessness, miscommunication, or both. We have kids. The likelihood of children melting down at a restaurant INCREASES with time. It is in everyones interest to get us in and get us out.
Fridays really dropped the ball tonight. They were totally behind in everything. I ordered sauted spinach and I got a bowl of raw, cold spinach. I even asked the guy, is this cooked? and he said, yes. We also inquired and planned a birthday dessert for my daughter. The dessert was missing some ingredients and we were told they ran out of candles. They couldnt even get the employees together to sing their customary happy birthday song because they were too busy. Let me just say, our waiter was a real champ and did the best he could under the circumstances. What those circumstances were, should definitely be addressed. Tonights experience was not the norm from what I know...but, man, it was bad!

This place deserves no star. The server was nice but forgot to tell me that i was going to pay more for certain things.i found out when i got the bill. The hostess was not very happy. I had a difference experience in others fridays locations(they treat you with kindness and tell you upfront everything). They seem to not care about customers. I wont go back there again. I will try the other locations. I should have read the negative reviews before going there.
Prices and service are good. Its Not the cleanest place by a long stretch! Floor was disgustingly filthy., didnt look like it was ever cleaned. Tables and seats were also filthy. I hate to see the kitchen , probably would have puked. Thank God I didnt get sick eating here. Wont be Back !!!!!
Food was good but it took over 20 minutes to get our check after we were done eating. We saw our waiter maybe 3 times the whole time we were there. Definitely wont go back on a busy night.
The food was good and arrived in a timely fashion. Our waitress was pretty good. However, the host was just down right odd. He made me very uncomfortable, something that isnt easy to do.
Eat here often normally good.this trip no so much. Tuesday dinner at 5pm.they were out of flavored tea and steak.we had to settle for other choices. Couldnt understand why they were out of items that time of week or day. Will still dine there tho.
All our food was mediocre. Served cold. 6 oz steak was more like 4oz but it was good.Service was very good considering it was a packed Saturday night .
Service was crappy because Im allergic to pork and MY family doesnt eat it, yet the server served two separate items containing pork bacon! Asked B4 the order, informed them of allergies, yet they still served nachos with bacon bits and a burger with bacon; when requesting an alternate they brought the same meals twice! Totally disregarding how dangerous it was to their patronage! I couldve died had I eaten any of it!!! MY family had eaten the nachos with pork bacon, under the pretense that it was turkey bacon and they dont serve turkey bacon! Would NOT recommend at ALL
My server Katelyn has been a rockstar each and every time I come in. She is professional, attentive, and friendly.
The food was good, the servers tried their best and were friendly and courteous, but not enough staff.
Food was better than expected, actually pretty good for a chain. The service while friendly, was a bit slow. Also because there was a special on bottled beer it was assumed that was what we wanted.
First visit in several years..food has improved for sure. They have a gluten free menu and beer, too!! And our waitress, Randi, was very nice and attentive.
I was here last night. The waitress didnt check in us to refill our drinks. Everytime she bring us food she just drop it on the table and run away from us. Didnt ask if we needed anything alse or if everything was ok. Something was wrong with all the food because we all got sick the next day. I woke up and returned throw up everything I had last night. Sorry. I like the food but I will never come back to any of your locations.
The drinks are super good at the bar, and the food is amazing. Portions are actually suited for a person where you wont have left overs.The atmosphere is very relaxed as well
The French dip was okay, but shouldve been rarer. The horse radish would be better without the added mayonnaise. I admit it was tasted okay, but I didnt need the added calories. An all around family restaurant,for youngsters, and oldsters.
Mediocre service, but good food. Past few visits have consisted of inattentive and forgetful waiters. Im a fan of the drink selection, but long wait times have been getting out of hand as of late.
Food was good. Service by bartenders was horrible. Its a job, not a social event for you and your friends. Thats all the girls did was converse with their friends and coworkers who got off work and stayed at bar. I thought Fridays had a policy against that. Doubt the manager would enforce it. Manager was a blonde female who walked away from bar when offered a shot a customer bought for the bartenders so she didnt see the bartender take the shot, customer was also a friend. Three shots werent enough so the bartender made another two shots after manager walked away. They were on there phones texting all night instead of taking care of bar area and customers. Bar area really needs cameras. At one point the guy that bought the shots walked to the bathroom, handed the brunette bartender some cash, then the brunette handed that cash to the brunette with red streaks in her hair in which she put the cash in her back pocket. She then went to register and cleared out his tab of food and drinks. Never brought him a bill or receipt. No cameras. There were also tables that were dirty, dishes left on tables for over an hour. Just sad. Serious retraining needed and new employees.
We were seated and then sat there for at least ten minutes or more and not one person would even make eye contact. Waiters were all around but nobody even offered us water. We left..disgusted. Really dont even want to give one star but you cant review without it.
Good option for a quick tasty meal.
I think TGI Fridays is really taking a decline in their quality of food ... when a quesadilla comes out soft like almost soggy and it wasnt round it was just slices cut up and piled on top of each other never seen a quesadilla like that before in my life! The steaks are smaller then they used to be just dont think Ill be going there again anytime soon😞
Notv uch a great experience here tonite...took forever to get food. Soup ice cold. Steak had no taste and cooked too much. Salads missing ingredients. Server was pleadsmt but obviously couldnt handle the crowd which actually wasnt too big at all. Wont go back:(
We go here just to get the Beyond Burger with Jack Daniels sauce. They do take out very easily. We just call ahead, then drive up for pick up.
Good, safe, place to eat during the Covid times. Great bartender. Plenty of space at the bar. Chain dining at its best
The food was good as usual but the waitress was Not! We asked for napkins she never brought them the bus boy did. Asked for refills and we got them after she brought the check.
I am not sure what it is but I just havent had anything but eh meals here... The location and service is exactly what youd expect and I have heard great comments on the salad bar. That being said nothing on the menu has had an impact on me.
Fridays has awesome vegan options! The beyond meat burger is definitely a winner.... No cheese...no sauce .... No bun....... dont leave off the side of brussel sprouts... That and a martini! I will be back!
Ordered the French Dip and asked for it prepared with no onions, but someone didnt listen. Sent food back and still came back with a few in my sandwich. Obviously someone just picked them out instead of remaking the sandwich. I wont be back.
The service was good but the food was horrible, I had chicken parm and broccoli soup and none of them tasted good at all, I regret going there. A total waste of money and time

Terrible. Waited by the door for a few minutes before even being acknowledged. Food was slow to come out. Asked for a condiment for a sandwich took over 15 min to get it by which time the sandwich was cold.
Not crowded, they sanitize each table when people leave. Food is good. Great lemonade.
Friendly and helpful staff. Drinks were great but my steak needed more work however the rest food was good. I will return.
Its either this location or the one out in Farmingville. Never had a complaint about the food or drinks so thats always a plus, I do prefer the drinks they make at the Farmingville location. Either way T.G.I Fridays is always a to go to for a quick bite and drinks!
The service at the bar was horrible. ..I was waiting there for the bartender girls to stop chatting with each other for a good 15 minutes and my plates were there for the same amount and it sucked. ..bartenders girls had no idea about their beers food wasnt even warm

This is easily the best TGI Fridays Ive ever been to. The quality is very good and the atmosphere is very clean. Overall, I had a very delightful experience and Id definitely come back here again. I would highly recommend this place.
New Management has made it known they want to improve the experience and quality for their customers. Mistakes happen and they were minor kitchen miscommunication. The manager went above and beyond to make it known he cared along with the waiting staff.
Restaurant half empty but they will not allow you to sit in the booth but make you sit in the back at the table with chairs.I have small children and have asked politely to get a booth, but was reftused. Couple after me got the big booth we asked for with apology its kind of big while I was told to either wait or go sit at the table with chairs. Asked the greeter to chrck with the manager but he wouldnt. Similar experience several different times. If uou have childrrn, do not go there!!!
Great atmosphere great apps. Awesome margaritas and the service by my waitress Kaylyn was on point above and beyond she goes and i highly recommend u to request her you wont regret it.

Used to love this place! Would go with my entire family atleast once a week. Than they changed the entire staff and the place went down hill. Service was horrrrrible and food size portions went downnnn!
Riverhead N.Y. restaurant. Was terrible. Group iof customers at bar speaking loudly using the N word, repeatedly, while 2 black couples were dining in booths right across from bar area where the group of white guys were. Blonde Barmaid & manager made no effort to stop the language at all...I spoke up and asked them to stop using that language, almost resulting in a physical altercation. By the way, I am white also. I had never seen such disrespectful, foul, language being tolerated in a public restaurant before or since. The places ambiance/atmosphere has changed since the allowance of the DJ music, different clientele and attitudes. Wont be going back. Applebees just down the road. Much nicer atmosphere and people.

Riverhead TGI, is horribleeee. Mothers day @2:38, 22 tables open and an 1:35hr wait. Girl said there very under staffed today. Wow, on mothers day? Thats horrible. 6 couples and families walked out. Great job TGI. Glad I dont own that stock.

Absolutely horrible experiance we went for my friends birthday only a small party of 5 it took 45 minutes to get our drinks and then another hour after that for our food which arrived cold ... we couldnt even get ahold 9f our server to say anything about it ... they didnt give us any silverware we had to go up to the hostess stand and get it ourselves also we didnt even stay for them to sing happy birthday to our friend because the whole ordeal took so long ... and this was a monday night not even a weekend ... there was no manager in sight for us to talk to it was horrendous... shout out to the bartender that took care of our check because our server kept ignoring us ... i work in food service so i usually dont like to complain i know it can get busy but jot even half of the tables were full so that obviously wasnt the problem ... definitly never coming here again

Riverhead TGI has the worst food and servers food was cold and they take forever to bring it to you. servers are slow and whoever takes your order is also slow the manager was told he brought it back and it was still cold hot wings.
Horrible food quality. Brunch special not available because they didnt have stock. I recommended that they cross route 58 to supermarket Stop and Shop and stock up on supplies. Very strange and highly disappointing.

Good place for good time. It is the place I can go to anytime. Can get busy on weekends, so plan your visit. But no matter when, you will have the best time at TGI.

I sat down at 5:04 pm, in 10 minutes the waitress comes to take drink orders and comes back soon, she then takes the orders of me and my five friends, they get their orders in 15 minutes, I asked for a burger with a fried egg on top, to which befuddled the kitchen for they only had pre cooked egg giblets, they tell me this half an hour after ordering, I said just bring me my burger, ANOTHER 10 minutes pass, I get my burger IN A TO GO BAG, though all my friends were already done with their meals, I said I didnt order this to go, the waitress did apologize and tried to TAKE IT AWAY to put it on a plate, I said no just give it to me as is Ill take it out of the box, she was kind enough to take the burger off the bill but Im just infuriated by the entire process, I waited an hour for something it took me a minute to consume!

Customer service when get there sucks you dont get greeted and i did an online order with mozzarella sticks platter an was charged 18.99 an only got 4 sticks because they dont offer a platter in restaurant hope i get reimbursed wen i go back

2022-06-251st time trying this location. Great service, and the food was great as always. We sat in the bar area, and we were approached within two minutes. I order Sesame Jack Strips, and Jack Daniels Chicken. I usually order this everytime I go to a Fridays. My husband had this combination: shrimp, chicken. Which he said tasted good. Def try any Fridays.

2022-04-25Wait for food was 20 minutes. App came after food. My salad was the core and surrounding white lettuce.. . I was charged for a xtra drink. . And the waitress never came by to clear before the cake came.. . I cleared.... today very dissatisfied. . Kids loved the rainbow cake.

2022-04-20Really disappointed.My fiancé and I ordered For pick up and we got a desert, which had ice cream. It is now all melted and a huge mess because someone put it with our HOT food on the heated shelf. Im sorry, but that is just absolutely ridiculous.

2021-06-17Food is ok. Prices are a little high for what you get. You know its bad, though, when the frozen Fridays loaded baked potato skins that you can buy at Walmart for 1/3 the price, come out better than what you get at the restaurant. They remind me of how McDonalds makes Filet of Fish; just a piece of cheese thrown (literally) on the potatoes. Disappointing.

2019-02-22Good spot to eat while Outlet shopping at Riverhead. They serve the typical American type food and have a bar. Prices are reasonable and service was good. Food arrived prompt and it was tasty. Its not too salty or over cooked.

2020-10-05Teenagers are managers! Covid puts a damper on all establishments including TGIF. Burger and fries as expected. Hanger steak with whiskey glaze 5 stars. Drinks as expected. Waitress gave us wrong info. As to appetizers so wound up paying for Mac and cheese. Took it out of her tip. The place is clean.

2022-03-21Im from Saratoga, and I have been to many TGIs but for some reason the one in Riverhead seems to be much better than upstate NY.. the food was hot. Employees were on point. Also my bloody Mary was excellent. My wife and friends loved theyre mixed drinks.. can get a lil crowded but worth it. No wait to be seated.. I will be back..

2022-03-15My friend and I started a day off with shopping at the Tanger outlets in riverhead and when we finished shopping we headed over to TGIF in riverhead for brunch. We were greeted with bartend throwing up her arms up with disgust we we were approaching! We immediately left because we were out for the day to enjoy and her greeting was less than welcoming! We left and came to TGIF in farmingville with our sweet adorable Nichole as waitress. Shes been sweet and we had great time! Nice tip for Nichole and nothing for nasty girl in riverhead...along with lost sale for her boss! Wont go back there either. When spending hard earned money in a day out who wants nasty? Not me 🙂 thank you Nichole! You get 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐♥️
