If I could give this TgI Fridays a negative five stars, I would. I order my food around 12:45. It was supposed to be ready at 1:10. Didnt get out till 1:45. 1st When I got there, there was no one at the pick-up booth;I walked to the kitchen, and it took 5 minutes to get my food. When they came back, the food had no utensils, and I was still missing the three drinks that I had ordered.I waited an extra 25 minutes on top of that to receive my drinks. I even had to go and ask every staff member where my drinks were, looking puzzled or just standing around. Finally, when I got my drinks, I received no sorry or even Compensate. They just handed me the glasses, And that was thatI also saw that other people were waiting for their orders or perplexed as to why they hadnt received theirs yetAgain if I could, I would give it a negative five stars for the type of service I received, especially with not even compensating me for my time waitingDo not go to this TGI Fridays unless youre looking for bad service
So tonight I ordered the whiskey glazed burger, and the whiskey glazed mini sliders to go, and Im EXTREMELY disappointed. Whoever is responsible for cooking those burgers needs to get out the kitchen. I had charcoal for patties. As a cook/establishment why would you even think you could get away with giving a paying customers food so burnt? Never will I spend at this TGIF again! Deserves zero stars.
I am in TGI Friday Resturant at Green Acre’s Mall valley stream there isn’t many people in here at this time but the service is very subpar. Waited over an hour and a half before being served the wrong dishes. When I tried to discussed the delay the waitress stated, “ I am not the chef, I don’t cook it.” Asked for medium well steaks, instead got steaks that was over done and hard. The chicken wings was cold and tasted off.
The food took awhile for it to come out. When I thought it was finally here the waiter came back and asked us what we order again only to bring the wrong order. I was so frustrated that I took my food to go. The food was alright, I had to finish the cooking of the meat at home because the ribs were hard and undercooked. Besides all of this everything else was fine.
Food was cold and burnt. I ordered dragon salmon with mashed potatoes and broccoli. Mash potatoes was cold and tasted old. The salmon was partially burnt. There manager was unprofessional addressing an employee in front of customers. The waiter I had was slow as hell even with our drinks *maybe hes new* idk. My daughter had the cajun shrimp chicken pasta minus the cajun and it was tasteless no seasoning so she only ate the shrimp. The utensils had water marks on them plus the knife still had food stuck in the groove of it so we asked for plastic utensil. The juices included alcohol tasted like the machine needs to be cleaned. I used to work in a restaurant so ik when the juice machine needs cleaning. Havent been there for years but this was horrible experience and I wont be back. Oh I forgot the bathrooms needs to be cleaned in a regular basis.
Great food. And drinks.. people were socially distancing and wearing masks.. I was surprised at how soon I got my entree! It wasnt too crowded at the time. Only 3 of us so we didnt have to wait too long for a table. Staff was polite. My 🍨 to go was omg good. Rainbow cake by Carlos Bake shop..aka cake Boss get it! Our server was great. Every staff was wearing masks.. I do however wish they were doing temperature checks at the door tho. Better to be safe than sorry.. Overall good casual dine out night with the fam! 😃
I came to this location for a quick dinner with my dad. We were quickly seated and had a waitress attend to us almost immediately. It was a busy day with graduations but we were able to order and get our food in a timely manner. The chips and dip was a good starter for us too. I ordered the salmon and my dad the steak. The portion of salmon was much smaller than I anticipated but the meal was still satisfying. My only complaint was the tattered menus which were stained and colored on, looks like they could a do a better job with upkeep.
Good food and Service.. Thats what I wrote 10 months ago. Well I stopped in again for a quick bite to eat. This time, the Service was Great!! and the food was really good...and the atmosphere is very relaxing. Everything looks pretty cool in there. Im glad we went back , they have good menu the prices are Amazing!! Check out one of the photos Ive posted. I will definitely be going back and for me being next to Modells too works out great..
Well how can I write this...I when to the bar there were 2 bartenders one asked me what I want,I tell her what I would like and her answer was she was ready to leave the other bartender will take my order I have 2 drinks and a meal and she was still serving other patrons ??? While I was eating I so another server that was bringing a lot of extra food to other patrons that she knows them and when I ask for a piece of breadThey told me that thats and extra orderWhat is going on on this place if you dont know them you have to pay for everythingWhile others that they know will get it forFree.???
Ordered on DoorDash. They gave me food poisoning. Ordered two drinks and they both taste like flavored water and not what I usually have when I go there. Just bland. Food came cold and half made missing things. I’ve been sick since I tried to eat what was edible Sunday and have been since then. Please avoid. They’ve went down hill over the years.
Curbside is non existent. I waited 15 minutes nobody ever showed up, I called multiple times no response. had to pack my young niece up in the cold to pick up my order. To my surprise there were two young ladies at the front desk doing absolutely nothing. The least they could have done was answered the phone. I received my food cold and part of the order was missing. Highly Disappointed in the lack of service. The store was empty, and overly staffed. Pure laziness. I will not be returning to this location.
Just left and had the most terrible experience.Got a table and was invisible for the next 15 minutes. My husband waved to someone and ask if he can have some service please.We ordered 2 drinks and appetizers and waited another 20 minutes.The roulette wing platter came and was all DRIED OUT. It was so dry and had a terrible taste down to the bone. Definitely will not be visiting here again. It was my 1st time and Definitely my last time
Food was horrible steak was way too tough and not to mention the young Latina girl that waited on us was rude and unpleasant. Will never go here again. Management obviously doesnt train their employees on customer service and towards the end of the visit they turned the music up real loud like is this a night club or a restaurant. Very disgusted
There were only two occupied tables, yet my girlfriend and I had to wait 10 mins to even be seated. Once we got seated the server was not good. We realized after we ordered that the menu mentioned our burger came with fries or salad. The server hadnt asked us initially so we asked the server for fries and she had an attitude and said she already chose that for us. Lastly, we asked for the bill and without asking if we’re finished with our food she starts throwing the garbage on our table (napkins and plastics) into our plates to take it. We weren’t done 🤦🏽♂️ never going back to that location. Food was also super salty.
I came here plenty of times, but this time around my food was trash. Our waitress was amazing though and really took care of us. Drinks were good (had to ask for extra shots) and appetizers were also good. Could have just been an off day for the cook, I know alot of businesses are being overworked with the lack of employees.
I ordered a large order for curbside pick up because I have a baby and a 8 year old in the car I pressed curbside when I arrived and still waited 15mins for no one to come to the car. Then my order said curbside completed and I didn’t even receive my food. I literally had to call the restaurant for them to bring it out .. I was told they the order has to say it’s completed so it looks on time
It was a bit of a hassle one evening and they messed up my order. My first time was phenomenal though.3rd time here Dec. 28,2019 and it was ok. The food was really good. I had the southern fried chicken burger and it was really good. The service was not over the top. The drinks were great as well. 💯🎉🎊 happy New Year to all when it comes....
Worst service. I order pasta with shrimp and chicken, but I wanted shrimp and chicken on the side because I am a vegetarian and my husband will eat the meat. I waited an hour after I was finally told the made the food wrong and they would make it fresh again. Waited another hour and finally taking to a manager I got my food and other meals that was ordered. The food was so cold. The pasta that they said they made again had shrimp in it. It’s so ashamed that they took the meat out the food and reserve it. What if I was allergic. Nobody did anything to help us. We had to leave after we got food and no fork or spoon to eat it. Would never come here again.
Food and drinks were great, we sat at the bar and had a lovely server. The only reason I took away stars was because every bartender I watched picked up the fruit garnishes to go in the drinks with their hands. No gloves on. No use of tongs. Found that to be unsanitary. My boyfriends slice of orange was defiantly squished between someones fingers.
Horrible service....after waiting 15mins to finally see my server.... Ordered my food n drink. To be disrupted by a group of men talking very loudly and aggressively to each other....The server with her plastic bag of money was more worried about her phone ..then actually telling them to politely quiet down...other customers were looking but not one server Nor the Manager KATHY ...who was at the bar laughing with whomever was concerned the whole 40mins I sat there...Finally my food came I asked for a box to go....I couldnt eat in peace... To many young ppl working there...not enough grown ups to control certain environment issues.
The service was very good. It was only around a 30 minute wait, on a day like Valentines Day when others were like an hour. The waitress we had was always checking on our table every 10 minutes which was very nice. The iced tea was delicious and refreshing. The fish and chips were good to. The fish had a nice crispy exterior. Would love to come back when everything has settled.
No one checked our $123.00 takeout order and shorted us 2 whole meals that we paid for. After calling we were told the kitchen would remake the whole order and will be 15 minutes. Get there and we are waiting and waiting and waiting. What is the sense of ordering online if the staff can’t do the order right and have to inconvenience the customer. Will not go back here and will the better one in Rockville Center.
This is the second time I went here this week. The first time, it took more than 5 minutes before a host showed up (I actually asked the workers that were walking past me wheres the host).The second time I went straight to the bar because there wasnt a greeter in front.
It’s crazy to read reviews on here that say the staff is “attentive” because they’re the complete opposite. When we walked in, the host led us to the bar, but it took about 10 minutes just for us to get service. There was only one bartender working; she would take her little breaks and have a seat without making sure if all her customers were okay. Also another girl that was walking around on FaceTime that kept telling the bartender, “I’m in the middle of a conversation” while she’s supposed to be working! Then you have a young man watching the TV along with the customers not being attentive to anybody. There are way too much staff at this place. They must be very comfortable with the manager because she let everything slide.
Curbside at this location does not exist. This is the 3rd time I’ve placed an order and no one acknowledged my arrival. I tried calling the store and no answer. 20 minutes later I went inside to retrieve my order and asked why no one cane outside for curbside with no answer given
Came here on a Monday evening. Arrived at 9:28 P.M. and was seated immediately. Place was very empty. No server came at all. I watched several female employees walk near us while paying attention to their phones. After 20 minutes we walked back up to the front. We were met by the sane greeter who didnt not realize we were the same people she had seated 25 minutes ago. No one had come in since other than delivery people. Really shameful. Customer service is a joke.
I ordered take out around 4pm with a togo employee. I gave specific instructions for two chicken & shrimp pasta. One with chicken and the second without chicken with extra shrimp. I get no extra shrimp, only 5 pieces. The gentlemen was SO sure he checked my food and made sure everything was right. He also pointed out that I shouldnt open the container because it would be too hard to close It back. It bothers me that he lied & I had to pay extra for it & didnt receive it!
Wait time was minimal and waiters were friendly. They also gave some excellent recommendations on food choices. I got the Ribs and chicken wings with sweet potato fries. It was great. I ordered the same thing in uber eats the following week for my daughter who is away at college.
The food tasted fine & they got my order right, but there was this one table that was pretty loud. I appreciate being able to eat at a diner again, but that was probably the only downside to my experience lol.The staff was nice to me & I got my food at a decent time, I didnt feel like I waited too long. 🤷🏾♀️🤷🏾♀️
This was a bit disappointing . Fridays used to be the spot but mehn I cant say the changes are for the better to be honest. The hostess at the front was not pleasant and not really the first person you want ppl to meet. Our waitress wasnt any better to be honest. She seemed over it before she even started and it was just a hot mess on a beautiful day. We went there for a graduation and her sour disposition brought things down a bit. The saving grace was the other waiter Nick who was on it and looked out for us more than she did. The menu also isnt what it used to be.. the good drinks are gone and whats on there food wise isnt really exciting or standout. First time at the green acres location and def will be the last time.
My family and I went to the restaurant. The customer service was VERY POOR. My name was written down and I was told that we have a ten minutes wait. We waited patiently. After approximately 20 minutes I realize that persons who came in after me were seated. I asked if my name was called. The waiter was nonchalant and asked if I wrote my name down. I showed her my name. She said I was next although all the names before mine and names after mine was checked. We were seated and sat for anorher ten minutes without any assistance. We left.
Did takeout. Ordered whole rack of ribs, mashed potatoes and mozzarella sticks. Very tasty. It was very busy for take out but I could have ordered curbside pickup. Its very roomy for inside seating with large plastic shields between large booths. Will definitely order from TGI Fridays again Fridays
For Veterans day, people were waiting for a long time just be spoken to. Place was empty in terms of seating. Manager seemed lost and the employees clueless. Absolutely no organization nor respect for the veterans waiting just to be served. You had employees walking around and eating in front of hungry customers and just an unprofessional approach to serving customers let alone VETERANS on VETERANS DAY!
Ordered online via Fridays website to pickup. I picked up the order and usually I take my time and go through it to make sure everything is right, but since I was in a rush i just collected and went home. I ordered 2 buckets of bones(with an extra side of mashed potatoes) and a whiskey glazed chicken(also with an extra mashed potatoes). I got home and opened up to eat with the family, only to find out that the whiskey chicken and mash was missing. I called them up about it and they apologized and told me I can come pick it up. This place is almost half hour out if my way just going to the restaurant. Since we were hungry I drove over to get it. I came home this time to find out that the mashed potatoes was still missing. I probably deserved that for not checking the bag the second time. Tried calling back and nobody was answering. Never ordering from them again. Terrible service.
Convenient location just in green acres mall. Nice staff huge parking free lot. On the menu poultry beef fish shrimp on any combination typically fast food chains. Always ask for the day specials. It is good to download the app to get discounts free chips and many other offers.
Visited June 2018 with a group of 10 to celebrate a birthday. Service was prompt. Drinks Came fast and food order was taken quickly. My husbands choice was not available at the time and the server and management went above and beyond to ensure he was happy and comp. His second choice. Crystal served us and she was so friendly and accommodating. Management came by twice to make sure things were okay. The food was excellent not a single complaint. We were visiting from Canada and really enjoyed our meal. We will definitely visit again whenever we visit the USA.
If I could give them a zero I would. The host extremely unorganized and was sitting families that came in after me then it took 12 minutes for server to come to the table only because I asked for a manager from a different server. She never introduced herself. Stop spending money on bs when you deal with bs to make money. Go to different T.G.I. Friday’s
This was by far the Worst experience Ive had eating out. It is So bad that Im currently sitting in the restaurant writing this review. First of all the place was freezing. We had to have them turn the heat up and it took a few minutes. But before that even happened when we first Sat down, we waited for well over 10 minutes before anyone came to the table and spoke to us. When someone finally came you the table it was the manager and she explained that the server was overwhelmed, I personally think he was just new. We were seated on the side with the kitchen and we can hear therm in the back yelling and cursing and chanting, just very unprofessional. There was so much more, but I would be typing all night. The only pleasant part was the manager. Unfortunately, that wasnt enough. I would not come back here again to eat and if you want a good dining experience, you shouldnt either.
The worst service EVER! Waited about 40 minutes to be seated on a Friday night, around 7:30pm. It wasnt even busy. There were so many tables available and the host kept telling us the wait time is 10 minutes or less. Then waited 40 - 50 minutes again for our food to come out, it never did. I complained and they tried to make us stay but I was so upset I just wanted to leave. The manager showed no remorse. Never again will I ever go back there to eat. They definitely need better management and organization skills. Oh, and the appetizers that took forever to come out as well came out to the table cold as if it came out of the fridge.
Well the girls and i hit it once again its usually 1 of our favorite spots but last night was horrible the wait staff the food we had 2 ask on more than 1 occasion 4 staff 2 clear the empty glasses and dishes and the werent particularly busy everything was just drawn out unlimited appetizers we shouldve ordered from the parking lot because they took forever truly disappointing if not in the presence of fabulous company the whole evening wouldve been a complete wash!!!! They fell off tremendously smmfh!!!
I must have had the slowest waiter in history. She didnt bring us or even offer water. Brought our food and no eating utensils. Repeated everything I said as if thought she didnt understand anything I said. The restaurant was dull, no environment. Also, no specials? A quick bite for 3 was over $100
The place was clean with quick and helpful staff. The meal did take a bit to come but thats to be expected. The overall quality of the food is ok. Its yummy, just not the best. The medium stake needed more taste as it was quite bland. The shrimp however tasted good. Overall i like it.
The food wasnt great. The service was horrible. The drinks were okay. The menus were horrible. They needed to be redone, they were raggedy and crumpled. We sat for a good 20-25 minutes before someone came and waited on us. Next time Ill be going to a different one. Dont get me wrong the waitress was nice. But the visit wasnt great.
DONT GO THERE.The food is fine. That is pretty much the only acceptable thing about this place. I came with my brother on Sunday and it wasnt even crowded in the restaurant. But yes, we have to wait 40 mins for our food. When we needed the waitress, shes nowhere to be found, but when we were doing fine, she showed up multiple times. At the end of the evening, we wanted our bills and again, we waited 15 mins for her to show up. She showed up, serve different tables and left us wait for her to take the card. We asked her if she could wrap my plate to go since I havent touched it much yet. She came back with boxes and ask me to do that myself. Wow, I have gone to many TGI Fridays and none of them made me do that. But still, its fine. We still left tips for her service, but to be honest, it is absolutely not worth the tips.
The food was well seasoned. The seating area could have been cleaner. I ate at this location on a day when they had a live DJ or something. They were blasting Cardi B. I couldnt believe it the staff started jumping around like they were in the club. They almost bumped into me. I was 7 months pregnant at the time. The floors were very slippery by the restroom I almost fell.
The wings that I got was awful. I also ordered a slushie but just got a drink with ice cubes in it-_- my chicken wings also had a CHICKEN FEATHER still on it. However the service was good and the waiter was very kind. This is my second time coming here and being dissatisfied with the food.
Almost every time I order pick-up from this location there is a extra 15 minute wait from my pick up time, after I arrive. And when I get the order home there is always something missing, sauces, side order etc. I actually prefer to go to the Fridays in Rockville Centre instead, even tho its much further away. At least Ill get everything I order and timely. Smh
I ordered to go from this Fridays and the service was great . The people who took my order were courteous and I received my food literally within minutes! Unfortunately that is the only nice thing I can say about this establishment. In hindsight, I shouldve just left when I overheard the to go customer before me complaining about her order... smhOnce I got home ready to dig in, i noticed that the mashed potatoes included in my order had streaks of some sort of red sauce in them and were more brown than white. They looked as though they were recycled and re-scooped. Then as i went to eat my broccoli, I noticed what looked like a black pubic hair in it. At this point I called Fridays to make them aware of the situation. The first call got disconnected, after I called again, I was told that nothing could be done so they took my information and said they would leave a message for the general manager who would be in between 10am and 12pm the following day. I never heard from anyone again so I called after 10 and was told by Kathy a manager that the general manager would be in at 1. I called again after 2 and was told the manager would give me a call once he got in at 6. I placed my last call at 6:46pm and was put on the phone with Eduardo the kitchen manager and offered free food which i obviously declined cause not only was the food gross the last time, who has time to go back? Eduardo then asked for the last 4 digits of the card that I used to pay saying that he will send an email to the corporate office to request my refund. I asked to be included in that email but was told that he was unable to do so. At this point, given the credibility of just about everyone that I spoke with, I have no reason to believe that such an email has even been sent. My only request is a refund for the food that I purchased. The waitress can still keep her tip as far as Im concerned but I am absolutely opposed to paying for such horrible food and am utterly appalled by the handling of this situation.
The worst service ever!!!! I never really write reviews but I had to do this one. My party was never asked if we were ok or whether or not we needed anything. The managers were chatting with the staff and you can literally see them in the doorway of the kitchen doing so for an hour. When putting in a request for anything expect to wait for more than 30 minutes and be prepared to ask multiple people to fill said request since it will seem like noone is getting around to it. Too many workers lolligagging and not enough work being done. Nothing against young people, but it seems like all the workers are of that crowd besides the 2 managers that enable the behavior of that crowd. Never will I ever go back to this restaurant.
Just stopped by to have a quick drink that was much needed. The bartenders name was Rose and she was absolutely amazing. Very knowledgeable, very nice and attentive. Ive been to other places in the area but as long as Rose is here Ill have my quick drink and bite to eat here from now on.
Food was greatGreat place 1st time for me to visit this branch .Staff were very very slow it took them more than 45 min just to get us our bill while the place has only around 3 tables occupied one of them was ours with all that time of waiting no body came and clean the table no one to call even to serve you you just have to go to them each time for requesting this all make me wonder how it would be if you came on a busy day !?
I love TGIF, so first time coming to this location, we were seated quickly ..Im expecting some decent food.. but what I got was food made with no love what so ever..and our waiter was so serious.. like smile bro... what made the night cool was my company I was with. We just made the best of it and said out loud we aint coming here no more!
August 28 2018 @ 7:45pm. Poor service. I been seated and wait 40min. From the time we seated. And no one ask to take the order. And I let them know that no one take the order. That a next 15 min. Now it’s like a hour. The guy came and apologize. was about to leave but I say I stay that long so y leave. Will not go back here for a while. Update. My juice reach the table at exactly 8:45pm still waiting for the food. Now the food arrives 8:58pm. That’s more than a hour wait for the food.
We had Sunday supper.This visit was not too bad. I didnt expect the service based on my previous experience. Waiting about 15, we started to order the meals. Our dishes came quickly. I found fewer customs in the restaurant than before. The meal prices went up $2.00.The shrimp chicken sizzling is $18.99.
I use to come here often but this last time my husband and i were highly disappointed with the service. Although my cocktail was tasty the bartender forgot my drink order three times. There were teenagers hanging out with some people they knew by the bar. Staff never addressed it. We purposely sat at the bar so we could be child free. We wouldve ordered dinner but couldnt deal with the loud teens&forgetful bartender. Manager should do walkthroughs
Welcoming hospitality was sorely lacking. I ordered the bone in wings they were not fresh however, I didnt complain just decided I wont be coming back. The one silver lining is we had a great waiter I wish I could remember his name, a tall dark complexioned African American young man.
I had the worst dinning out experience at this restaurant. First, the waitress was not friendly and did the bare minimum to make family and i feel welcome. Second, she purposefully overharged my bank card by $106.87. When i tried calling the 800 customer #, they gave me a ticket# and told me someone should contact me in 2 days. No one from customer service contacted me. I had to call the store several times to speak with the general manager to rectify the situation. I Will never go to this restaurant AGAIN!!!!
Service was slow for an early week day, and it wasnt crowded. Took a while to place our order, waited over 10 or more just minutes for our drinks. Our appetizers came with our meal and everything was over cooked. Its been a while since I been to Fridays. Gotta stay away from these chain restaurants!
Food came out quick and cold. Missed two items that was ordered. Adolescence as the maître dout of uniform. If not for the very nice waitress this experience would be a total disaster.The atmosphere; the place was cold, a lot of kids working and playing around that are employed there. Also I should of noticed that the place was half empty on a Saturday night. That should of been a sign to avoid T.G.I. Fridays! 🚨🚨🚨Its ghetto, look at the tables.
Rude staff, and manager Camille was no better. Used the coupon they sent me for a particular meal, and instead they removed my daughter kids meal. Brought it to their attention and manager refused to change it. Instead just told me theres nothing she can do and walked away. This is my second bad experience here. Im done with this place.
The service here is awful. Its been a while so we thought wed try again. We had to ask for a waiter after sitting at the table for 15 minutes. We had to ask for small plates for the appetizers. The drink from the bar never came. One of the orders were wrong, another came out about 5 minutes after everyone else. The burger was over cooked. The place was NOT busy. Theres not reason for this. Its the same as last time we were here. Awful service. Dont bother.

Absolutely horrendous ordering out experience. Food tasted like it was frozen and heated in a microwave. Had two orders of fries and no ketchup was placed in our bag. Usually I wouldnt mind but the fries were bland and soggy. Had one salad order which is supposed to come with dressing but was completely dry. No dressing provided. I love Fridays and if you do too, dont waste your time.
Went for happy hour. We sat at the bar, the bar tenders were so busy laughing & joking with each other all we got were the filthy menus. The menus were wet & sticky from only God knows what. Another couple came in after us and the bar tender who was supposed to tend to us started taking their order instead of taking ours. After taking their orders, she walked to the other end of the bar. Her back turned to us & never coming back. We waited a few minutes & she still didnt come back to take our orders, so we left. TOTALLY UNACCEPTABLE!!!!
Take heed to all the terrible ratings. I visited the establishment for a drink and wings at the bar. There were 2 bar tenders behind the bar and it took over 5 minutes before even being greeted and given a menu. I looked at the menu for about 10 minutes. The bar tender who greeted me decided to walk from behind the bar to have a full conversation with her friend who was sitting next to me. Finally after another 10 minutes, she walks back around the bar and asks if Im ready. By that time I was already on hold waiting for the manager over the phone. Once he got on, he couldnt hear me so I decided to go over and speak to him. I explained to him what happened and he responded Was she busy before she brought you the menu and I said yes she was. That wasnt the issue, the issue was her leaving from behind the bar to talk to a friend. All I can say is the manager and the bar tender need new jobs because neither one of them have grasped the concept of customer service. Regardless of if the lady was doing something, it shouldnt have taken 5 minutes to get a menu. It takes 5 seconds to say hello and pass a menu. And the manager couldve handled the situation better. Instead of asking if she was busy, the right thing to do would have been to apologize and keep it moving instead of making excuses. When you work in a restaurant or any customer service establishment, the customer is supposed to come first. Thats how you gain and retain business.
Just had a great meal of BBQ Chicken Salad lol and it was great! My cousin had a rack of ribs and it was amazing as well. Everything tasted great! So happy we chose to eat here. I even ordered to take away. My server Jeff was authentic and knowledgeable about the menu. Great place. We will definitely be back :)
The food was not bad. Its the service that needs to pick up. They had BOGO and I did not realize this until I got home and look at my phone. The waitress could have mentioned something. The only reason I frequent this location because its convenient. The service leaves a lot to be desired.
Ive been here maybe 3 times and 2 out of 3 was fine. The last time I went my food looked like my 10 year old sister put it on the plate. I could see that the cheese that was suppose to melted on my chicken was clearly a slice of kraft singles and they did not put any marinara sauce on the food as described in the description on the menu. The food ended up being tasty after I requested a cup of marinara sauce to put ong my food before it got cold.
Every time I come here - the service gets worse and worse. Just because we order 3x 10$ unlimited appetizers and 2 rounds of drinks doesnt mean you cant take away the plates or make space on the table. They make people wait 40 minutes for a table even though majority of the seat sections were open. The excuse of not enough waiters is irrelevant especially when you have 3 hostesses just laughing and playing around. Majority of the wait staff should be fired on the simple fact they arent even people friendly.
We were greeted and seated immediately. Given menus and then our drinks. Chris was an attentive server. It only took 12 minutes for our lunch to be served. Everything was tasty and service was nice. Maybe we came at the best time, Sunday after church before the crowds. We were pleased.
Worst mean experience of the year. First and last time dining here. The waitress took forever to take drinks and we waited over a hour for half of out meal to be served and when we finally got it the plates and all the food on it was cold. The other two orders which were appetizers never arrived in fact when the first half arrive (more than a hour after we placed the order) we were informed that they did not have what we ordered. We then asked for a sprite and how long the rest of the meal would be and a hour later neither food nor the drink has reached. If there was a a way to give negative stars I would give them
Made an online order for pick up. They had a really good deal on full racks of ribs today. Upon picking up my order, I was told they didnt have anymore cole slaw. Actually, the girl told me, they hadnt had any in a while which was odd because it was still an option on the online and restaurant menu. Speak to manager to clear it up. Turns out they just ran out the night before and hadnt received their shipment today because of the holiday. The restaurant didnt use to offer slaw as it was franchise owned but since recently switching back to a corporate owned restaurant, they put it back on the menu.A little disappointed but not a big deal. I accepted a side salad instead. Get home and (heres where the one star comes off) I find the seasoned fries I ordered are actually plain fries. Double check my receipt email. Call the restaurant. Have to drive all the way back for the seasoned fries, which appears to be just plain fries with a bit of salt and pepper sprinkled on. Not the seasoned fries I was expecting. Other than that the food was good. No complaints about that. My order was done quickly They werent even that busy for the holiday. I would give them a second chance.
First time visiting. The only reason we ended up here was because the original choice, Bronx BBQ, was permanently closed. The food was average, as was the service. The glazed whiskey sauce on the bones...uh... I mean ribs was very tasty. (Where was the actual meat🤔) Fries were ALMOST warm and the bread would have been better served with butter rather than the spicy honey mustard sauce. Probably wont be going back.
First & last time! We stood waiting to be seated for a good 5 minutes before anyone showed up to seat us. We ordered soup and half a sandwich. We waited about half an hour for our order to come and they brought everything out at once. The soup wasnt that got and by the time we got to the sandwich, it was cold and so were the fries it came with. And the menu choices do not really offer anything on the lighter side of you are counting calories. Better off at Applebees
My bf steak was cold n he ask for medium rare..& they brought him well done... yes! The chef came out and brought him a medium rare...the butter barely melted on that steak..I advise my man not to eat it..ughh......I dont see myself going back there ever...drinks were good enough...n the waitress she was pretty nice!
My experience at that Fridays in valley stream was the worst experience I ever had at a restaurant the waiter was horrible she didnt get my water like I ask , no napkins, and the silverware was horribly dirty. The vibe wasnt there like the other gentlemen that I guess help her out but he did a wonderful job he corrected all her mishaps and his vibe that he was giving out was perfect .
Last night. The service was extremely horrible. I got my drink at the end of my meal. I reminded her 3 times and she still kept forgetting. My food came the fries was ice cold look like it came from somebodys else plate. My son couldnt eat his food it was burned. He only ate his fruits. My sister food was horrible she just packed it up for her dog. Everything was bad. Worst experience i ever had in my life of dining out. As soon as my sister went home she had to run to the bathroom. My son and myself are sick. Stomach is bloated we feel so terrible. I regret going there last night.
Thank God its not Friday because this is ridiculous. I came here with my girlfriend and her family member to end off the day and it did not end well. Although the food was tasty it took terribly long to get to us. It took close to 30 minutes for the food to arrive and even longer for the drinks. On top of that the place was not even full it was rather empty. All I ordered was a water and they still forgot that. Also the staff was very ghetto waltzing up and down the isle yelling and cursing with young kids around. I know the location isnt that great but still I mean show some class.
We ordered chicken wings it looked lime the wings were thrown on the plate, we had fried shrimp the coating for the shrimp was falling off before you can eat it. I had chicken and mashed potatoes with broccoli. The broccoli was extremely salty when i told the waiter that the broccoli was salty and i didnt want it he said ok. He came back with more broccoli this time it was uncooked and cold so i gave up on that. Then i had the chicken how can they serve. Boneless chicken breast burnt nasty nasty nasty. The only good tasting thing was the potatoes. I went on a Sunday and it was empty we got seats right away that was a sign. I will not be going back to this fridays again. Its not worth my money or time.
I just left this TGIF. What a horrible restaurant. Napkins all over the floors, in every room. The bathroom bins were overflowing with tissues and the toilet paper on the floor kept sticking to the soles of both shoes.When my food came the plate had about 7 french fries on my plate with my hamburger - the server said thats all they gave you? and brought more but they were barely warm and certainly not seasoned as the menu said.The only good thing about this place was that the server and the hostess were both pleasant.Will DEFINITELY NOT be going back there again. I would give this place 1/2 star if i could
I absolutely loved it. To be honest, they always treat me well whenever I go to this location. The food is great. Okay.. okay.. Im just obsessed with the spinach dip. ;pApart from that there are many bus stop by this restaurant so that is good in regards to convenience.The costumer service is great.Plus the bathroom has good selfie lighting lol.
Bad service, food comes to the table but bread and utensils arrive a few minutes after. So you cant do anything but stare how your food is getting cold.The 8oz. Filet mingon looks like a matchbox , Id say 3oz at most. Dry, not a sign of the parmesan butter promised.Sticky tables and extremely sticky slippery floor throughout the restaurant. I guess nobody bothers to clean.Location seems to be serviced mostly by black staff, so no wonder its in such a state.I wouldnt go back to that location EVER.
Appetizers were excellent.Heidi our waitress was good. The decor needed much dusting. Lamp over our both was VERY DUSTY, FILTHY. Needs to have all lamps wiped clean & dusted as well as the vents wiped clean. Im pretty sure if you were to go to the managers home it doesnt look like that at their homes where they live & eat. Our food, rib eye steak was dry. Everything else was fine.
Service is freaking HORRIBLE and they dont what are they doing there. I asked something and got something else. Waiting for the receipt felt like another hour. My boyfriend never got food for the hour and half we waited after the ordering. Management doesnt know how to human resource or make customers happy. Even after we spoke to a manager we still had to wait a long time.
Dont go here. From the moment we walked in the door, the hostess with purple hair was rude. She sighed very loudly grabbed 2 menus and started walking. Slammed the menus on the table and walked away. No words what so ever. The waiter was rude. Never came to see if we wanted anything else. Didnt even ask if we wanted dessert. Just brought the check. Will never go back.
Bad service, the staff would rather socialize than pay attention to their customers. I spoke to the female manager and told her I can see the staff passing by the doorway to the kitchen grabbing food to eat and licking their fingers (like its their house) while my waitress doesnt check in to see if I need anything else (and ignored my request for a refill). I told her Im the one paying to eat, I should be the one getting attention. The manager there could care less and was happy I left. Stay far away from this place.
Server caused my daughter to spill her drink by handing a 12yr old a sizzling plate that she was scared to touch from the opposite side when there was ample space for him to walk around a place the plate down himself. Keep in mind this was a full glass, he proceeds to hand us four napkins and disappear never to be seen again. I had to flag down another server, explain what happened to have her drink replaced and help drying off her and the table. No disrespect to the other staff they were kind but this one particular person spoiled the experience for me
The wait wasnt long at all. The server was very nice. Unfortunately the rest of my experience went downhill. After waiting with great anticipation; my food was overcooked and the ladies bathroom smelled like a cats litterbox. It turned my stomach so bad I couldnt wait to leave.
We had a great waitress serving us. But, thats about it. The table server knocked an entire drink over on the table . The beverage poured onto my daughters IPad, pants and shoes. My wifes pants was completely soaked. The table server never apologized . The waitress did the best that she could to help . The manager never came over to apologize. I left this restaurant having to go to the mall to buy my daughter new pants and shoes. As angry as I was, I still left a 20% tip . I would think twice about going back there and any one else reading this review should consider how unprofessional management staff is before going to the TGIF in green acres Mall. Youve been warned.
Before eating here, I liked TGI Fridays. This one is not so good. I was very unhappy. I wanted to leave asap. Service was slow and unresponsive.Again server was not so good. They got my order wrong. I wanted the endless apps. Instead they charged me for the full ones. I made it clear what I wanted. They didnt correct it as they said it was already in their computer.Did I say that my server wasnt so good? In my eyes, the wait staff represent the restaurant. I had a very bad experience here.
I wont be eating there anymore. The food took way too long to be prepared and the staff talks way way way too much. The salsa dip at the beginning is watered down and very cold. Oh and hear this, the boneless wings for the appetizer is really chicken breast. Yes the waitress told me. I hate chicken breast. If youre very hungry you should really order takeout from the Chinese, which is really not good with all the msg. But my choice between Chinese food and TGIF would be the Asians. I know I eat chicken wings when i order it.
I was hungry and it was close by.. service was great.. the food was delicious.. I enjoyed the steak with mash potatoes, broccoli and shrimp.. they served plenty food.. i had to ask for a box to put the remaining to eat later.. o also enjoyed the atmosphere.. great selection of music..
Went to the bar. Had to wait twenty minutes to take my order. The general manager had no apology to give. After 50 minutes my order still did not come and they didnt know what I ordered. Payed for my drink and left. Still left tip but seriously avoid here cause if the GM isnt bothered by mistakes then there is no reason to provide quality
Walked in at 1120pm the bartenders were complaining amongst each other that customers were still coming in and they thought the doors were going to be locked. Ordered the 5$ nachos and two drinks at 1123. 1153 we recieved our food. Nachos were cold. The drinks were good . My first time. Probably my last.
Honostly what the hell. The workers there only cared about socializing with each other. The food took about uh wait I forgot oh yeah... IT NEVER CAME! I highly recommend choosing another place to eat other then that dump. Worst service ever. Our waitress was rude, she gave us a bad attitude and just walked away while we were ordering to talk to the table next to us for a good conversation with her friends. I hope that place closes down.
Very unprofessional, slow and poor service. My husband ordered the endless apps.& the waiter was giving us an attitude because he order more that twice. We waited 30-45 minutes between each app came out. The waiter didnt even properly hand my husband the bill. The only reason I will even give this a one star was because the host was very nice.
Today I experience the worse service from not getting a clean menu, not getting water served, to receiving an appitezzer with no plates,. To having a manger come and say she sorry that my sons food came with pickles after I said twice no pickles to my drink not been placed. To end it all a 30 min wait to get my credit card back since they were going to readjust my bill. To me getting up and trying to get my card back because to many people kept giving my credit to next manager or staff . Do not go here at all. To no apologize.
Worst Fridays we went to. Staffs were just standing and chatting in the waiting area. No hello or whatever. The place doesnt have much customers but they dont have a ready tables. What is that? She tells us to go back in the front because table is not clean when they not doing anything. Staffs are mad rude. Customer service sucks. We left and went to Applebees instead. This restaurant doesnt even deserve a star.
I visited this location for this first time and the service was the poorest that I have ever experienced. The staff members appeared to be young and probably mostly in high school. They all appeared to be supervising themselves.I was given the wrong information when I asked a simple question from staff. No two staff members had the same answer for one question SMH.Once I was seated it was at a table in the middle of the floor and my chair was bumped repeatedly. I waited for about 10-15 minutes and was never greeted! Not one waiter or waitress approached my table during that time. When I got tired of waiting I got up and left. I dont plan to return again.
The worst establishment known to man. The service is piss poor and that rings true from the hosts to the manager and everyone in between. The food will be cold because they will take forever. The nasty attitude will start upon entrance of the restaurant because that is clearly the culture there. Youre better off going to Westbury or any other location because this one is sure to disappoint. And yes they shut everything down long before the hours posted on the website and door. Ive gone twice and both experiences went horribly, the last of which I refused to eat from such a generally nasty place. I Grabbed my things, paid for the drink I had at the bar and ran.

2021-12-13My friend wanted an affordable dinner. I wanted the pumpkin latte martini. Our waiter Sean was amazing, very attentive. The spinach artichoke dip was really dry. I wish it was more creamy because it tastes good. My order was wrong but it was quickly corrected.

2022-03-28I gave this restaurant a 2nd chance, and it still was not a good idea. The server Dannen was not very hospitable at all! He didnt check in on me and my family to make sure we were okay; we had to gather his attention for missed items and refills. The only time he seem like he cared is when we was trying to walk away from the table, he asked if I can pass him the receipt that I had signed. My boyfriend complained about getting regular fries with his meal when he ordered seasoned fries. Server came back with those fries full of salt and pepper. If I had high blood pressure, the one fry I ate would have put me in the hospital.

2022-06-03It was my first time going back to this TGIF since the pandemic and it was a bit disappointing. The music is extremely loud it’s like you’re at a club you can’t have a conversation with the people at your table. You literally have to be yelling at each other. We were served our food and had to wait 10 minutes after receiving the food to receive utensils. Some of our food came out before the other and then we still had to wait for the utensils which led to us eating cold food.

2022-01-14Second time I hit this place within a few months. For being a young crowd tending they seem to have the place well under control. Very polite, good food and our waitress was right on the money. My wife, 6 year old and myself were very please all around. Would definitely eat there again. Wish I could remember a few names, would have called them out for compliments.

2022-06-13Our waitress was awesome. But, when you walked in everyone to greet you was in their phones...smh. After we ordered our food, our food was giving to another table, when we finally received our food it was horrible the grilled chicken was extremely dry and hard, the broccoli was under cooked. My boyfriend never received his broccoli because it went to another table. But the way it taste he didnt need it anyway. The manager never came over to speak with us, he/she was the chef and because the was backed up. But she offered a free dessert, adjusting the bill would of been better. FYI we definitely did not take their dessert..

2022-03-06I had an amazing experience tonight! From the waitresses friendliness to the fresh food..I was very satisfied. Had the whiskey glazed chicken, mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli. Appetizers were the classic combo and again very tasty and fresh. Tried the Alabama Slamma too and it was better than I expected.

2022-05-31I grew up around this particular Fridays, so my experience is based on nostalgia. I like what they did with the place. We received our food fast, and when I told the waitress about her Bday, they came out singing in less than 2 minutes... That was new, I was in the bathroom.... Lol in my defence, places usually take a lot longer to prep the people and song.I still loved the experience. I didnt give 5 stars because. The drinks, I just got a water. I know better.

2021-06-22We had been here for dinner. The wait was 15 minutes. Our server was super friendly and attentive. We ordered boneless chicken wings with Nashville hot sauce. 10 pieces in an order and the taste was pretty good. For the main course, we had the Cajun shrimp and chicken pasta and whiskey glazed chicken sandwich. The pasta was served with garlic bread and was creamy, rich and delicious. The chicken sandwich was huge, with a side of fries.the whiskey glazed sauce was good, more on the sweeter side. Service was quick and food was good.
