Hands down the best Thai spot in Manhattan. Once we came here we no longer go to any other Thai food places. It’s a bit of a small spot but the food is always outstanding with quality and flavours. We have tried Khao Soi, Beef noodle, curries, moo dae dew (the fried pork thing), cashew stir fried with pork belly, and they have all been super tasty. And the service is always so nice and wonderful.
I got pad thai, tamarind duck, chicken shrimp dumplings. Overall disappointed based on all the positive reviews. dumplings were a little dried out, everything else i found to be average. Relatively cheap but I wouldnt go back I think its below average for the neighborhood.
Absolutely amazing. Small place, maybe 10 tables. Great wait staff made good suggestions, one from each category in the menu. I had the Khao Soi, my son had the Drunken Noodles with duck. Both were simply outstanding. The curry in the Khao Soi was the best Ive ever had.The plating/presentation of both of our dishes was superb. My only regret is that I didnt think to take a photo of either until we were well into the meal.
This place is so bad its a joke. I ordered stir fry for pick up, and showed up 10 minutes before the stated pick-up time, happy to wait for it to be done. Instead, the staff brought out the finished dishes immediately. Convenient, but I dont know when theyd been finished: All the food was already cold. In fact it seems like theyd barely been cooked to begin with. The meat was pink on the inside and the stir fries had so much excess sauce that they were basically stews. After all that they had almost no flavor, and it seems like it was cooked solely with packaged sweet and sour sauce. Absolutely vile. Try any of the other Thai places within a few blocks, theyre all much superior.
Thai food is my favorite cuisine and as someone who have been in Thailand and eaten a lot of street food there, I can say that this place checked all the boxes for me. We ordered Khao Soi, papaya salad, grilled sausage, fried calamari and Tom Yum noodles. I really enjoyed each dish, and loved how authentic it is compared to other Thai restaurants I’ve been to in the States. Beware of the spicy level though! I had medium spicy for all the dishes and really enjoyed it.Also 10/10 for the service. Lovely and attentive staff! Will definitely come back.
Thai hot box deserves all 5 stars - Amazing Thai food . After ordering my meal and opening the container, I promptly blacked out into a blissful state of flavor and spice Nirvana. Order the drunken noodles with pork belly to discover true happiness. The curry puffs , spring roles, and sauteed basil sauce, was a magic carpet ride. Eat here to discover a whole new world. Delicious!
I moved nearby recently and have ordered the food about three times now. Excellent lunch spot during work week or dinner takeout. Very delicious, beautiful presentation, quick and attentive service, good portion, extensive menu, and reasonable price (especially for duck!). Really nothing to complain about. So glad I live close by!
My only regret is that I went a second time and got the same dish! There were lots more I could have chosen from. This little place is one of a kind. Lovely food presented beautifully, great service, and a clean, new space. The owners might want to reconsider the name - this domain is blacklisted on my work computer as an adult website.
OH MY GOD! Run, don’t walk to this place. I have visited Thailand many times and this is possible the most authentic Thai food in Manhattan. No other place in the UES comes even close. Be warned, if you ask for spicy, it will be the real spicy. Khao Soi, Basil Stir Fry are the bomb. Hope they stay authentic.
I called to order at 8:45pm on Monday evening. I was walking by and planned to pick up the order. I was told by the person who answered the phone that the kitchen closed at 8:45pm. I said that their website said they close at 9:00pm. The man then told me the kitchen closes at 8:45 and the restaurant closes at 9:00pm which I told him should be stated on the website and paper menus. He said he would let someone know and hung up. I then walked by as the employees were throwing on their coats and running out the door. I worked in the restaurant industry in NYC for13 years. This is not the way to foster return clientele and keep a restaurant open. Never going there again. Bad customer service. If you stop taking orders at 8:45pm then post that. I ended up at Korali Greek restaurant a few blocks away at 8:50pm where they took my order even though they close at 9:00pm. Got great food by 9:00pm and went home to eat it.

2022-02-05The best Thai in manhattan! We enjoyed dumplings to share, they were delicious, with crunchy toppings and an amazing condiment. Also had a Thai ice coffee, it was a bit sweet but still yum.For mains, we had the Khao Soi & Duck Noodle soup. Both were so delicious and VERY filling. Lots of interesting flavours, spices and very good quality. Great service

2022-06-04You dont have to go to Woodside Queens for good Thai food anymore. Good for a small place and not overpriced...for UES.Party of 5 is stretching it, but the host/waitress was very helpful. Food looks fresh, straight foward and not trying to be overly fancy, and everything was delicious.

2021-09-12Unapologetic: what a surprise to find a fine Thai dining place in UES. Im not Thai so I cant say whether the food is authentic, but what I can say is that all of their food is not watered down for the neighborhood. The rice roll was filled with chives and garlic two ways: stir fried and deep fried. The homemade sausage - what a delight! Flaky meat with ginger, chilies, and lime. The salmon entree came with fluffy, properly cooked jasmine rice.If you want to try Thai food undiluted, step outside the pad Thai and fried rice, and give the this place a shot. Dont believe me? A Thai grandma ate here at the same time as us.

2021-10-09Super delicious Thai food. It feels more authentic. Their drunken noodles had alot more different flavors than usual. It has coriander seeds on the vine! Careful though, authentic equals super spicy. Their one pepper felt like a three at other places.

2021-10-21Hands down one of the best Thai places I’ve been to in NYC! Authentic and tastefully made! If you don’t know what to get, start with the drunken noodles with crispy pork belly!

2021-07-16So this little Thai place is new and has excellent service and food. The liquor license is about 2 months out but they have plenty of other non alcoholic drinks. Very attentive servers here and the food was excellent.

2022-03-30So good! Definitely the best Thai in UES - consistently high quality, good portions, and the prices are very fair. Hard to say what to recommend because everything we have tried so far is amazing. I love that they have so many dishes featuring duck! And at $15 for a quarter duck plus noodles and vegetables - really cannot be beat.

2022-05-17Terrible!I never even got to try the food. Delivery scheduled for 1:45pm. I called after 3 to see where the order was and was told they had no driver to deliver it but the order was ready (at this point it’s been made and packed over an hour ago). I told them, my wife will pick it up, and asked to set it aside. They said no problem. At 4pm my wife pulled up to the restaurant and it turned out that they gave the order which was over 2 hours old at that point to a driver who went to her place of work to deliver it.I made a reasonable request to just remake the order (it was just one dish) and give it to my wife. They flat out refused.Seriously? My wife is supposed to drive back to meet with the driver to get the 2.5 hour old take out because they’re too cheap to just make the order again?Don’t care how good their reviews are. With attitude like that I don’t recommend them to anyone.

2022-06-24This place and the beautiful people in it are doing Gods work . Come here - accept no substitutes. We usually get the spring rolls, drunken noodle with crispy pork belly, basil stir fry with chicken and curry puffs but cannot go wrong with anything on the menu! Best Thai on UES!
