New to the area so I’m exploring and it happened to be Hudson valley restaurant week. What a bonus!! We had great food, drinks and even banter with the waiter. It is a small restaurant but very lovely. The food was AMAZING. Will definitely make a return.
Really upset. I have been going here for a few years as my fiancé and I love the food here. Unfortunately we visited this Friday at 5:00PM and when we walked in there was no host, only a waiter and a bartender. Okay no problem as there were 20 empty tables and only 2 other groups of seated guests. We asked if we could sit and the bartender said no, we asked the waiter and he said he didn’t know. We stood there for 5-10 minutes looking ridiculous. Even the other customers were confused why we couldn’t sit. The bartender went looking for the host but said oh I can’t find her. And literally no one would let us sit. If I was a manager or owner I would be embarrassed by this level of service. We walked out and they lost our business that night and most likely in the future as well.
The appetizers were cold like ice cold. Drinks were good. The short ribs were delicious
Apps are 🔥🔥🔥 and the rest of their food is delicious also. I’ve sat down at the restaurant and also ordered family style takeout. The food was incredible both ways. They don’t cut corners. The food is great. The portions are huge. The price is fair. The veal parm is elite.5 stars
This place is quite good! Went there for a birthday lunch. They had a fixed price lunch that was very good for just 25 bucks. Everyone enjoyed their food. And we spent 3 hours there enjoying the conversations and the food! Will definitely go back for lunch again
I hosted my sister’s bridal shower here and it was perfect. The food was spectacular and the service was amazing. I wish I lived closer because I would be here every week! I can’t wait to dine here again when I am in town next.

Had dinner here in late March. The pork rib eye entree was a amazing!! Highly recommended! The wine selection was strong as well. The restaurant is well set up for those concerned about CoVid which good spacing and good barriers! Servers hovered a little bit too much but that was the only negative on a whole bunch of positives
Even in the pandemic, the service is outstanding and the food is fresh, flavorful, and large portions! It’s been a long time since I’ve been to a restaurant with great old school hospitality. The specials are awesome and the dessert menu is also great with a lot of variety. We selected this place specifically for all of the gluten free and vegetarian options, so there is something interesting on the menu for everyone. Can’t wait to go back!
We really love 808. The food is delicious and fresh and theres always something for everyone in our family. Its a really pleasant environment without being fussy. The staff is incredibly nice and accommodating. Its one of our favorite places in Westchester!
Went for lunch on a weekday. There was no one there. Asked for recommendations but was told everything was good. 🤷♀️Food took a while to come out and when it did, it wasnt fresh. The fish (sole) was mushy and tasted like freezer burn. Food was expensive for the quantity and quality. Not planning on going back or recommending to anyone.

Found this place during covid. The family dinner special is enough food to feed a whole village. The chicken dish (it’s like a scarpiello but they don’t call it that) is to die for. Deff a favorite place for Italian food in Scarsdale/eastchester without going broke
The food is absolutely amazing. I always order the charred Brussel sprouts, shrimp wonton and garlic soy chicken wings. They have happy hour during the week and specials. The staff is amazing and friendly. Great date night location or just a great place to sit at the bar and enjoy a glass of Malbec with some appetizers.
Great food with lots of hospitality. The owner came over to greet us. Did an excellent job of setting the place up for clean, safe and appropriate socially distanced dining. We will definitely be returning!!
I’ve had my favorite meal here. i’m a vegetarian so it’s usually very hard for me to find food but here the options were great! the general sals cauliflower and the garlic french fries are my absolute favorite, i love this place!

Frozen fish, super sour sauce for francese. Side of mixed vegetables was pretty much stir fry sauce on some mixed veggies from a bag. Pappardelle pasta was pretty good. Pretty pricey for the quality.

Pasta pasta pasta and bread bread bread! If that is all you ate here you would never leave. The bread is freshly made it feels and the sauce you can have on your bread is so good ot is illegal. The pasta is awesome just have to eat it right away to get that great fresh pasta flavor. They also have other food but when your bread and pasta are that good it just means another visit is in the future for this place. Solid 9.3 out of 10 rating here.
I don’t understand why this place is apart of restaurant week. We had a 8:30 reservation and were seated at 9:00. No problem, we had drinks at the bar. But once we were seated our whole experience was rushed. The bus boy came over to someone in our party 3 times to ask if they were done with their meal! By 10:00 we were served appetizers, dinner, and dessert. When we asked the waiter why we were being rushed he said because they close at 10. We were not even finished with out bottle of wine when dessert was brought out. Too many better options up the block to deal with that attitude and service!!
I came here first for my birthday and it was the perfect celebration meal. The food was great, the location is easy to find, and since we drove we were pleased to see there was plenty of nearby street parking. (I’m sure coming by train would be easy too, Hartsdale has a stop on the Harlem MetroNorth line.)808 Bistro also partakes in the great Hudson Valley restaurant week. We had such a great experience that we came again for that and same result! Great food, great drinks and great staff. You’ll feel like a local when you’re here. Highly recommend for a date or a nicer upscale meal with your family.
We have been coming to this little Bistro for several years on a weekly basis.When we learned that they were offering a take out curbside pick up how pleased we were. The selection is always great as is the food. Always, hot, ready on time and plenty. You place your order, them come out with a mask and gloves place your order in your trunk and you are on your way to a fantastic meal. Thank you Sal, Linda and staff for providing this service to your old and new customers.We cannot wait to start coming in on our weekly visits and seeing your pleasant and smiling faces. I am usually not up in this area but was looking for a good spot to eat and found 808 Bistro. I was there with a few friends on our way back from Woodbury Commons and saw some of the online posts and pictures and decided to give this place a shot.I ended up going with the Chicken Meatballs which were awesome and the grilled lemon shrimp for appetizer. Linguine with seafood and a bottle of Cab for my Entree. Everything came out quickly and I felt it was a great price for all the lobster and clams i got. It was a good amount of food for the price and the friends went with the Risotto and Island muscles. If you have a chance to visit this area of Scarsdale it is totally worth it. It was right across from the train and for a weekday the place was pretty busy. Overall great food and atmosphere will be visiting again to try out some of the other dishes.
I rarely leave reviews but when I do it’s because it’s either been one of my worst experiences ever or one of my best experiences ever. This one was by far one of the best!Yesterday was my families first time trying out the 808 bistro and via ubereats at that (cause we all know sometimes even great in house restaurant experiences are lessened dramatically when ordering delivery esp through a third party app). Yet I can say not only was this one of the most outstanding delivery experiences I’ve ever had- not just cause it arrived at the earliest ETA time but because the food was perfectly packaged to keep each item and topping hot and fresh and safe during the travel which believe it or not is far from a common occurrence like you’d assume AND the main course was in a reusable container that was microwaveable for a quick reheat which with such generous portions we did Infact eat it again as soon as we could fit more food in our stomachs haha.So delivery is a huge success. What about the food though, you mentally yell! Well obviously the food was out of this world. That’s already a hugely discussed fact in every review that’s not from a tasteless zombie of negativity. It was absolute heaven and the quality was so fresh and quantity so large I couldn’t believe it since some restaurants with great quality fresh ingredients charge a ton for tiny morsels meant for nice not humans, but not the bistro. It was excellent.Finally though and what made it stand out is even through delivery I could tel their service and customer treatment is just as out of this world as everything else I’ve listed - which is everything that matters from delivery to quantity to quality to taste the only part left to cover- service- is equally as excellent. I know this not only because of all of the above clearly being due to great service but because upon my note in my order where I had written it was our first time trying their restaurant they went out of their way to send an incredible mouth watering dessert for free. A hot gooey double chocolate brownie with whipped cream that my husband nearly cried from loving it so much I had to fight him for my half it was so good. The kindness that exudes and the level of customer appreciation it shows considering we were just first timers realy gave me such a feeling of gratitude because it’s rare to find that in restaurants anymore. Infact some fight you even if they are at fault and give you the wrong food and are nasty. But this amazing place went out of there way to show appreciation for a new customer so we’d enjoy our experience with them and they far surpassed all competitors. I will definetly be recommending them to everyone and I’ll be a loyal daily customer from here on out because that’s how great of an impression they made. Some places have one or two checks but they checked off every box that makes a experience great even through third party delivery and I’m glad we tried them!
They definitely have an extensive menu. I got a pistachio crusted fish that was cooked to perfection. They greatly accommodated my food allergies too. I also shared their skirt steak with a friend. It was very flavorful but tough on the jaw to chew.
This is by far our favorite local restaurant--the salmon, sole and apple strudel are always wonderful, service is friendly and efficient. We recently hosted a party for 50 people at the restaurant and could not be more pleased--the staff was an absolute pleasure to deal with planning the party and the execution of the event was flawless.

I just had dinner at 808 Bistro. And I was blown away by the service was amazing. It doesnt get much better even the manager came out of kitchen and treated us like family. You will be happy with food and service definitely going back again.
Just had my daughters baby shower at 808 bistro. Wonderful staff and food. Everyone was kind, patient, and accommodating. The restaurant is intimate and a warm, happy place to have a shower. We were so pleased!

I have been eating Italian food my entire life all over Manhattan, Arthur Avenue and even my mother’s kitchen table. This place made me feel as at home as my mother’s kitchen with their warm staff and wonderful service and the food will match up anywhere you go. You will see me again very soon!!!! Wonderful food and lots of it. The lamb chops were huge and cooked perfectly, and the chicken franchise was to die for. The only negative is that its exceptionally noisy when crowded, but the atmosphere is otherwise intimate and romantic.
Great little quiet place in a quiet neighborhood right off the highways you have quick access in and out of the town. Foods great and the staff is kind. Prices are not crazy just about right for a more elegant dinner date. I had their salmon and boy will not forget that great taste.
I visited the restaurant for my birthday. I wanted a romantic quiet restaurant with linen table clothes and I got it all. Sal owner/chef and staff treated us first class. The halibut and spinach in garlic and oil prepared to perfection and the steak was medium as requested. We enjoyed our dinner. Sal and the staff brought me desert and sang happy birthday to me. We dine out often and loved it so, that we are returning tonight with friends. Thank u Sal and staff my Birthday celeb was the best!!
The staff was wonderful and attentive. The food was delicious. Everyone wore masks and there were plastic dividers between tables. The restaurant is cozy and beautifully decorated.
Waiter not so friendly. They don’t honor the menu specials with the excuse “it is a misprint”, oh come on, so fix the menu.
Tried this place three times and even though it has been around for some time now, I feel as if the passion that goes into the food is somewhat lacking; especially for the price being paid. Yes, the ambiance is nice and the wait staff is friendly and helpful with making choices, but the food feels.....different. Theres some places that you can taste the love in the food, but I feel thats the biggest drawback here.If youre looking for a nice italian date scene, this place has got it. I would just caution on getting something pricey and expecting this overload of delicious flavour. Again, its ok food, but I expected more for the price.

Best Veal Capricciosa I have ever had. This is one of my go-to restaurants in Scarsdale. Italian food of this level just doesnt exist outside of this area. From the grilled calamari, to the sole francese, and of course the pasta. So lucky to have this in our backyard.

Wow. That was the word I left with after experiencing 808 Bistro’s amazing cuisine. Some of the best food I’ve ever had the pleasure of enjoying, a must go for anyone looking to try food just above the rest!

I have been here several times, always because friends like to celebrate birthdays there. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable, but the place is very small, the tables too close together, and the food is just okay. They are way overpriced, but I guess that is to be expected because of the location (Scarsdale). Their meals are really hit-or-miss.
Absolutely love this restaurant. The ambiance inside speaks intimate and low key. The menu is very aggressive, which is why I find myself going back again and again. I can go there to get a piled-high tower of ciabatta bread dripping with gorgonzola cream or some asian duck tacos. If I want to eat more traditional, I can just have a skirt steak with mashed potatoes and a grape tomato salad. The variety of reds is never-ending and the staff is extremely attentive. They always seem to be there when you need them and out of your way when you need them to be.

Are they italian or american? can be hard to tell based on the mixed menu but everyhting was tasty and the service was attentive, though the space is small and tables are close together.

2021-12-19Very cozy space. Staff were very attending. Intimate environment with great utilization of space. Had a few cocktails and light apps. All were to satisfaction. The pour was generous and the food was tasty and light. Glad I stopped in!

2022-05-30I was recommended this place by my sister. Came for lunch, order from the prefix menu. The food was more than delicious. My friend had the boneless short ribs and I had the grilled chicken with arugula salad as main course. For appetizer, the whipped ricotta with roasted tomatoes, cauliflower teriyaki (mind blowing) and the taco. Im definitely coming back here.You will not be disappointed.

2022-04-10I wouldnt recommend. I ordered $100+ take out and was not pleased with any of the items. The mussels had a fishy smell - were not fresh- I couldnt eat them. The grilled shrimp was also not fresh and tasted rubbery. Other items were very salty and mediocre.

2020-09-29Came here for a promotion celebration. Just a small family. Service was ok. There are partition in the dining area so that was nice. Bathroom was nice and clean. Everyone loved the food including myself. No complaints. I thought it was sweet when they sang happy birthday when they saw my congratulations balloons. Its the thought that counts we just went along with it.

2019-02-10Early Valentines day dinner with the better half. Had crab cake appetizer, lobster bisque and an arugula salad to start. Everything was fresh and delish. Had surf n turf special for dinner. Filet mignon and lobster tail. Both were cooked properly and were very tender. Better half had the lamb chops and not a single 1 survived. Finished everything off with an apple strudel and vanilla ice cream. Must order with entrees as it is made fresh to order. We got there at 5:30pm just before the dinner crowd hit. It was romantic and the staff was friendly and attentive. Great to have a place like this in our community. Cheers

They even offered a personalized message on each menu.My team enjoyed the food and drinks tremendously. They had a large dessert menu and coffee options after dinner as well.
