My son and husband went to the Ability Center a few weeks ago and they had a great time. There’s a lot of activities and toys to accommodate to children who seek input/sensory, which was very helpful for us. It’s also very affordable.
This is a great place for toddlers! It is kept very clean. Staff is very friendly!
I have been coming here for almost two years. We had my daughters 1st birthday party here, which was so much fun and very easy on us as parents. We come for open play as often as our schedules permit. Isaac, the owner, is really responsive and truly cares about running a great facility. Have heard good things about their PT/OT as well. Great ,clean childrens center in the neighborhood.
My favorite place to take my three year old granddaughter before and during covid. The price is reasonable and the play space is perfect for my granddaughter. The swings, the slide , the trampoline are terrific fun and just the right size. The toys are always organized and in the right spot. Mackenzie can find what she wants easily. Issac is constantly cleaning and following covid regulations with regard to mask wearing , temperature checks, scheduled appointments for play sessions and limited occupancy . The ability center is a neighborhood treasure.
Personally as a mom, as well as a professional early intervention, Ability Center rocks! The larger pieces of equipment are great as an indoor playground, but also tons of other options to create variety of play styles. Although we went before the pandemic days and appreciated the fun, having the chance to reserve the space for private play since COVID is an extra bonus! Clean space, friendly faces, and easy fun makes Ability Center an easy choice!
After hearing so many wonderful things from local parents, I finally took my nearly 4 year old to their open play space. She had an absolute blast! Its a great place to take your young kids for some indoor fun. She climbed, jumped, slid, hung, and so much more in this fabulous space. There are also lots of other toys and puzzles for some less physical fun but a wonder either way. Before our hour was up, we were convinced this was THE place to have her birthday party. And we were right! At a great price we got a couple hours of fun for her and her friends. Parents told us it was such a great space and their kids had such fun! I was provided with 2 helpers who set up the decorations for me, served food and cake and even helped me put together the goody bags! It was so amazing to not have to worry about all the little things as the host! They helped keep an eye on the kids and at the end cleaned up! It was so easy to have the party here and Im so happy that we discovered this wonderful spot to celebrate such an important day. I look forward to so many more days here whether its a rainy day or just a different way to have fun. The place is clean and the staff so friendly. There is no doubt that this is one of my favorite places and I highly highly highly recommend it to everyone!
We had my daughters 4th birthday here recently (had her 3rd birthday here last year). I cant recommend The Ability Center for a birthday party enough. My daughter and her friends had a great time at the party. The party host took care of everything and they decorated the room beautifully. My daughter has been attending open plays at The Ability Center for a couple years now and she always asks to go back. Also it is the most affordable private party rental I could find that is appropriate for my daughter and her friends.
I bought my son yesterday, it was a Wednesday and it wasn’t rushed or busy which i liked. There were a couple of other people with their babies and children. Not too noisy, they have disney songs playing in the background. Will be coming back again, my son LOVED it!
We have been coming here for about 2 years now and love it. In that time we have experienced all that they have to offer.The open play has so much for little ones to do, from the two-story castle, ball pit, slides and zip line, to the assortment of toys and tunnels, etc. So many ways to get out their energy in a safe, always clean, sensory environment.They also have Mommy & Me classes with Mrs. DD, who engages the children with toys, songs, arts & crafts and story time. My son loves her and her class, always asking to go back to see her, and I will now be bringing my daughter.My son started OT & PT a few months ago and the therapists are wonderful. Patient and loving towards the children, and they keep the parents up to date and informed. My son is progressing while having fun, who could ask for more!Ability Playspace also offers birthday parties. We had my daughters first birthday here a few weeks ago and it was wonderful. Mrs. DD sets up and runs the party. She took care of everything, I didnt have to worry about a thing. The kids had a blast, ranging from one to 8 years old. Something for all of them to do. I had friends and family from Long Island who couldnt stop saying how lucky we are to have a great place like this so close to our house, and I agree!
We chose to have our children’s birthday party here. What a great place! The staff is so friendly and helpful. The children had such a wonderful time. After the party everyone raved about coming back and how they had no idea how awesome this place was. I highly recommend them and can’t wait to come back for open play!!!
We have play groups with my daycare and the kids absolutely love it! The staff is also extremely helpful.
Just had our 5 y.o. birthday party there. All the kids had an amazing time! Staff was very helpful and friendly. Its a great atmosphere particularly for kids prone to sensory overload. We even extended for an extra 30 min and the owner was very accommodating. Would highly recommend.
I recently attended a birthday party at the Ability Center. It was fantastic! The center is clean and organized, and full of activities for the kids. My boys enjoyed climbing and playing on the many incredible structures that they have. I would highly recommend it for parties and open play time! And kids must be begging their parents to go to therapy in such a fun atmosphere.
I take my child here and I must say is a wonderful place for kids. This place is really big. On 1 side theres a kids play area which my kids love you pay for an hour to play is really nice my kids love it. And now lets talk about the other side. The other side is mainly for the THERAPIST TO WORK WITH THE KIDS. Their staff are very nice.
Love this place. My son has so much fun. it is perfect for active children with so many toys, slides and ball pits. Most of all it is very clean and best description would be its like an indoor park with tons more to do...highly recommend this place.
After hearing only good things about this place, I went to check it out for myself. That was over a year ago and I keep coming back with my kids. Although my children receive their services from another agency - i love bringing my kids to the Open Play hours. The area was designed with the childs physical and sensory needs in mind. I could tell right away that a lot of thought and planning went into the layout and the array of different type of play kids can attend to. There are swings, tubes, soft things, hard things, textures galore, and my kids personal favorite, a ball pit - its really a sensory wonderland. We need more places like these.
Not only is it the greatest play space, they know our both our sons names and they love coming here. Especially mommy and me.
Nice facility overall, clean toys, could get really crowded, but since it’s the only one in the neighborhood that’s expected. But I took two stars off because of their schedule, on the weekdays they close early at 6.30pm, on the weekends very often they close for birthdays or just closed for some other reason, during summer they were open maybe 4 days a week. Always check their schedule before you go. Bought a package of 10 visits and was not able to use them all because of their schedule.
Really adorable place to bring young kids to expend energy in a positive productive way. We were there for a birthday party and kids had a blast! Staff was great as well.
My son absolutely loves this place! Tons of diverse activities and plenty of space! The staff is super friendly and always makes us feel welcome. I would give this place 6 stars if I could!
Love this place to take my 3 year old girl, lot of jewish women usually, so lot of kid, but everybody is pretty friendly, the attendants are really peaceful and lovely nice, $10 per hour and the parking in the area is good in the morning, I dont know in other moments. lot of things to do for the kids, great place for the winter
Small neighborhood indoor playgym. Space is not big enough to serve more than 15 kids. Especially if older kids start to run around. I would go if I lived in the neighborhood for convenience but wouldnt be my first choice. Toys could use some updates and overall area lacks diversity.
Just had my sons birthday party here and everything was absolutely perfect! The party attendants were amazing. They set everything up beautifully and my son had a great time! Thank you Ability!!

2022-06-20We had our one year Olds birthday party here and it was amazing!!! The team here handled the entire decorating and food set up, we got to arrive and immediately enjoy the party. It was so easy, exactly what parents of toddlers need. The kids had a blast and all of the parents got to enjoy the day while the kids played in a safe environment. Thank you again and we cant wait to come back!!!

2022-03-30The Ability Center did an amazing job at making sure my daughters 3rd birthday was a success! The place was so clean- spotless really. The kids had a wonderful time with plenty to do there. It was very reasonable and we felt that the children were safe and happy. I cannot stress how clean everything was! Would definitely recommend!

2021-08-08My 4-year old son loves this place!!! He begs to come every so often. He’s active and loves the variety of equipment and obstacle courses. I know this is a great place to build overall body strength. It is clean and relaxing. I highly recommend it for 1-6 years old for parent+child time or a play date. My 7-year old daughter still enjoys this play space, too.

2022-04-19My kids are obsessed with this place ! Love the variety of toys and equipment which can keep kids busy for hours . We were just there and my 3 kids ages 1.5, 3, and 6 had a blast !!! Would recommend to any parent who wants to give their kids a good time in a clean safe environment . Owner is super sweet and accommodating as well !

2018-07-12We loved this place! Very clean organized indoor playground with friendly staff. I cant wait to try the mommy and me class. This place had everything. Swings, ball pit, slides, rock climbers, blocks, dolls, etc... It was great to let my daughter crawl around and explore. We will be back for sure.

2021-10-19My daughter who is almost 4 has had a terrible fear of swings at the park for the past 2 years…. Shaking and petrified crying when put on one. I took her for open play at the ability center and when here playing with all the sensory toys….. she sees the swing. (We also do bi-weekly Ocupational Therapy here) I said let mommy put u on this swing…. It looks safe and like so much fun! For some reason after being here for a while And climbing the ladders and the rock wall…. She took a chair herself and put herself on the swing!!!! Of course i was next to her but she had a blast and made me push her high! I was so proud it made my heart smile! The next day I took her to the park and she ran right up to the swing and said mommy Im going on by myself!!! And she did!!! She no longer is scared of the swing! I know its from The open play and the Therapy she receives here at The Ability Center! This truly is a wonderful place. I was so excited to tell Issac her progress here!!
